It is a collection of mini-games designed to make use of the innoviative features the DS has to offer: Touch Screen, Microphone, and Dual Screens. All the games are wrapped around the story, of a stalker-guy trying to meet up with a girl he passes. As usuall though, things go wrong, and he will spend the whole game doing such things as: Riding monocycles, poking scorpions, and setting plants on fire. Try | | rubbing the body in an upward motion too! | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Strategy: Although the levels change slightly -- Such as more | | candles, or faster moving candles, and even having bats fly | | around, the basic idea should work. Take a deep breath and blow | | into the microphone, and hold it until the people take three | | breathes each. This will make them dizzy, but it should also blow | | out the candles. If it doesn't you can either try again, or rub | | one of the people on the screen, upward, and towards the candle. | | This will allow you to target an apporaching candle individually. | | And as a trick, if you rest the stylus on a man, while you blow, | | he will not blow, and will not become tired; This allows you to | | have four blow, and have a back-up plan if the candle doesn't go | | out. They don't notice spiked balls on the road, until | | they approach them though! | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Rules: Rub the road up and down to clear a path! | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Strategy: This one can be tricky, but it's usually simply because | | the collision detection with the spikes are so liberal. Although, | | you can't do anything about that, so you'll just have to do your | | best and hope it works. Basically, there are three roads, and | | spikes spread out above them. Look at the top screen, to see | | which road the next shopping cart is coming from, and then slide | | the stylus up and down on that road, on the touch screen. You have| | to work fst, to make sure all the spikes are pushed off; Make sure| | to bump them from the side while moving up and down, though, | | because moving the stylus horizontally won't work. In the higher | | stages, there are many more spikes, the carts come faster, there | | are more carts in total, and they even sometimes come in pairs. | []=================================================================[] ___________ /__________/------------------------------|| Although the main character / / Game Choices: Bull || succeeded in gaining the / SCENE 02 / || girl's attention, it is cut /__________/ || short by a stampede of Bulls! /__________/----------------------------------|| []-------------------------------------.---------------------------[] | _ | Difficulty: <> | | |_) || | Tries: <> | | |_)|_||| | | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ' - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Cutscene: The main character sees a bull running straight for the | | main girl, and like a hero, he jumps in front of her. | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Rules: Touch 100 raging buls to calm them down! Don't touch the | | people! | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Strategy: Keep your eyes on the horizon, of the bottom screen. | | From there, three things can jump out: A black bull, a red bull | | or a person on red skis. It's best to focus on the colors, as you | | should be able to notice color differences more quickly than shape| | differences. This will help, since you don't want to touch a man, | | as one touch causes you to lose. When a red bull appears, put your| | attention on it, because you need to touch it 8 times to take it | | down. To do that, put your stylus above it, and -- pretty much -- | | *shake* the stylus, so that it keeps coming off the screen and | | then touching the screen, quickly. Continue, until you touch 99 | | of the bulls. At that time, a giant bull will appear -- It's 100 | | hits to tame this guy. Use the same "shake method" as you would | | on red bulls, and you should be able to bring it to about 30 HP, | | at which time it will swerve left and right. Continue tapping it | | quickly, just make sure to move your stylus left and right with | | it, and you should be able to tame it. | []=================================================================[] ___________ /__________/------------------------------|| After saving the girl's life, / / Game Choices: Clean Up || the hero finally gets her / SCENE 03 / || attention. AS far as I can tell, you can't even lose. | | The girl has mud on her face, and arms. Rub the spots one at a | | time, until they shine (there will be a few stars around them) and| | then move on to the next one. Like all love scenes, there's a | | heart meter. In this game, the cleaner you get her, the more it | | fills. When you clean her completely, it will be filled, and you | | will win. If you rub too fast, she'll scream "ouch" but it doesn't| | do anything, so don't worry about it. | []=================================================================[] ___________ /__________/------------------------------|| After the girl is clean, the / / Game Choices: Antlion || main character will get to / SCENE 04 / Bus Stop || hold her hand. When | | one nears the top, focus on him, and push him all the way to | | safety. However, in hard mode, it its nearly impossible to do | | this; You'll need to use both hands, and that may leave smudges | | on the screen. Avoid this one on hard mode, if you can. The Rub | | Rabbits evidently have the same idea, as they then come and shove | | him into a bowling ball. | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Rules: Rub the hero upward to roll him (like a ball!) and knock | | over other people (like bowling pins!), but don't hit any cars! | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Strategy: Even though it may not look it, each stage has cars and | | busses, that come and go in a pattern. Look for this pattern, and | | when you see it, wait for the largest gap, and roll the character | | through it. Make sure to do it quickly, so he doesn't get hit by | | a car. Also, you'll still fail, even if you hit someone, unless | | you knock all of them over. Sometime you may get lucky, and have | | them all fall down, if you hit someone on the side, but for this | | reason, it's best to aim for the middle. In upper levels, you may | | find some stationary vehicles, too. There's gaps between these | | vehicles, so you'll have to aim the character for the gaps. | []=================================================================[] ___________ /__________/------------------------------|| That night, the hero has a / / Game Choices: Monocycle || dream, that the girl he likes / SCENE 05 / Painter || drowns. He wakes up in a /__________/ || sweat, to find that it's only /__________/----------------------------------|| a dream, though. The next day, the Rub Rabbits convince him to put on another show for her. But | | before they know it, they've managed to reach a thin plank that | | goes between two sky scrapers. | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Rules: Touch the monocycle, and keep it from falling off the | | bridge to make it to the building next door! | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Strategy: The concept for this game is simple; Use the stlusm and | | navigate the planks to reach the other side. Although, that does | | not take from the fact, that this is one of the hardest mini-games| | in Feel the Magic. Not only are the platforms extremely thin at | | times, and not only are there many turns, in the haderder stages, | | you also have a clock ticking down on you! What you should do, is | | ignore both the clock, and your character. Just focus on the | | "cursor" around your character, and the path. Slowly, but steadily| | make your way down the path, making sure not to stop. And make sure to be efficient in getting | | rid of the Scorpions; While there is no time limit, if any of the | | Scorpions reach the girl's neck, they'll bite her, and you will | | lose. Once again, to finish the level, you must fill the meter. | | The girl's hand will be moving back and forward slowly. Whenever you hear bees, or see them come | | onto the screen, let go of her hand for a second, and poke all of | | the bees to make them leave; The longer they're around, the more | | the heart meter will drop. Hit people| | to make them pile up on your car, then pull the lever down and | | release to fire them at the enemy car! | |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -| | Strategy: This level consists of two parts: Traffic and a "battle"| | with your rivals car. It starts out in traffic mode. Just steer | | left and right, avoiding the cars, hitting the people along the | | way, so you have some ammo for later. After a little while, you'll| | catch up with the rival's car. Get behind him -- Make sure to keep| | some distance -- and fire a person at him. Don't get too close to | | him though, or he may stop; And when you hit him with a person, he| | *will* stop. Touching his van will cost you some health, too, | | which is bad. You also want to be careful, because he may toss | | electicity balls back at you. Furthermore, should he slow down, | | and should you get stuck in front of him, move to the side of the | | road, and wait for him to pass. The amount of health he has, | | differs depending on difficulty level. The large green | | ball won't even bother you, if you keep moving, but the others can| | be trouble. In the first, you move the hero | | around, while dodging some vines that will snap at you from the | | edge of the platform. Try and stick to the sides of the screen, | | and move to the other side, when a vine comes. Wait for the vine | | to swing and miss, laying itself out on the ground. When that | | happens, touch the center of it, and the hero will run over to | | burn it. Although several more will form, you're doing the right | | thing. Burn several new vines as well, and you'll change screens | | to where you are viewing the plant's mouth. In this screen, you | | will have to wait for the plant's mouth to open, and then throw | | a torch in. When it's burnt down, you'll go back to the ground, to| | do this pattern again; There are three mouths that you have to | | burn in total. Throughout the second and third stages, flaming | | leaves will be falling down, so just be careful, and keep moving. | | The only other change, is in fighting the plant's mouth. While | | in the first battle, you should throw four torches at a time, so | | that you don't miss it's open mouth, and die. The second time, | | throw only two or three at a time. And finally, on the third mouth| | use only one or two at a time; And furthermore, only throw when | | the girl swinging by -- Only on the third mouth -- is off the | | screen. There's no time limit, so take your time, and don't rush | | yourself. Sadly, this one is *not* a | | choice game. So, you'll have to stick it out. Basically, you're | | on a highway, and the screen is scrolling. Just move along it, to | | stay safe. However, along the way, sharks will jmup out at you. | | The best way to avoid them, is to watch their shadows in the water| | then either speed up, or slow down to avoid them. Another obstacle| | you'll encounter, are springs on the road. Touching these will | | cause you to bounce into the air, allowing you to pass over gaps | | in the road. Thankdully, those aren't any trouble. In the upper | | levels, you'll find both curved roads, and forks. There are | | four cats though, one on each side of the touch screen. What you | | should do, is wait until the group nears the guard, then touch a | | cat to make him look away. Be careful though, he'll only look for | | three seconds or so; So make sure to press another cat, before he | | sees your group, after he turns back around. Thankfully, they will form into lines -- One line at first, | | and upto three, as you begin taking his health. After you've hit | | enough missiles, the rival's mech will apprach, and the insides of| | it's chest will be revealed. Here, you'll see a shape made up of | | laser beams. Rub your stylus along the beams, to crack it. If you | | go from begining to end, the beam should shatter, and the rival | | will lose some health. Just keep it up, as you proceed through | | both of these phases several times. There is a three-minute timer,| | but you probably won't need to worry about it; It rarely, if ever | | reaches zero, if you actually go for the laser beam inside the | | rival's mech, each time it is revealed. What you should note, | | though, is that near the end of his health bar, the missiles he | | fires will start to spread into star-shapes. Just rub the stlus | | up and down, and drag it across the screen, rather than follow | | the lines; It will make things much easier for you. | []=================================================================[] ___________ /__________/------------------------------|| As the hero and the girl / / Game Choices: Final Battle || attempt to limp away, the / SCENE 17 / || rival shoots an energy blast /__________/ || from his liberty spikes. You can put different hairstyles, clothes, and shoes on her; And you can unlock these by finding Hidden Rabbits (see the section above) and by earning stars, by playing games in the memories option. You'll see the changes at the scene selection screen, and in this mode, but it doesn't affect in-game cutscenes, or in-game graphics. To access it, touch the speakers on the title screen. In Hard Mode, you play the upper-stages (usually levels 6 through 10) of the mini-games. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hell Mode ========= You can unlock Hell Mode, by beating the game on Hard Mode. In Hell Mode, you will go through all the stages of the mini-games (usually the games consist of ten levels.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Sega Clothes ==================== You can unlock special clothes, for use in Maniac Mode, by starting the game with certain Gameboy Advance carts in your DS. The following games offer these: Note, that some pieces of clothing can be unlocked by multiple games.Sonic Sonic Advance --> Sonic Wig Sonic Advance 2 --> Sonic Wig Sonic Advance 3 --> Chao Hairstyle Sonic Battle --> Ulala Hairstyle Space Channel 5 --> Ulala Hairstyle Sonic Pinball Party --> NiGHTS Wig Chu Chu Rocket --> NiGHTS Wig Alternatively, you can beat Hell Mode. That unlocks all of the Sega Clothes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Nude" Girl =========== If you set the game's language to Japanese, via the options menu, the shadow of the girl at the title screen will not be wearing any clothes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recordings ========== Hold Down+Y at the title screen, and speak into the microphone, to record your voice. It will play randomly throughout the theme song. Press Down+X to play it immediately.
