Keep checking the Chronology of Guide section for dates of updates to this Walkthrough. I will be providing a full list of the Pokemon and items available in each part of the guide, along with each trainer and the Pokemon he/she has. See the CREDITS to know the people/ websites who made this walkthrough possible. Hope you enjoy this guide and find it useful. The format of the tables will be in a easy-to-read format.Tables will be used only for trainer battles, Pokemon listings and items( PokeMart listings). Items found in buildings, routes etc will be listed in the main walkthrough. I shall use the "$" symbol for listing the costs of items in Pokemarts. In the Pokemon listings tables, Nat.Dex means that the Pokemon is available only after you obtain the National Dex. In some cases, I would have left the rarity blank. This is due to the fact that I had insufficient information. Please bear with me on such cases. For Pokemon which are obtained by fishing, I will provide the listings for each ROD TYPE. So, THE ROD TYPE(O,G,S for Old,Good and Super) will be listed beside the rarity. Likewise, "Hoenn Sound","Sinnoh Sound" and "Headbutt" will be listed in Methods. NOTE: The Pokemon listings are ONLY for Pokemon Soul Silver.Pokemon found in Pokemon Heart Gold version WILL NOT be listed here. ****************************************************************************** UPDATES ****************************************************************************** NOTE: Due to my massive school work, I am not able to upgrade this walkthrough often. The basics: In this game, as in any other main game in the Pokemon series, the objective is to capture Pokemon, level them up by fighting other Pokemon(wild or owned by Trainers)and defeat one by one the gyms in the region, finally defeating the Elite Four and the Champion. Along the way, you have to defeat the evil crime syndicate(Team Rocket here). As soon as you step out,you will see your rival from the opposite gender(Lyra /Ethan depending on your gender).His/Her Marill will bump into you. You will also see a redhead peeping in at the window of the big building which is Prof. Elm's lab.For now, that is your destination. Enter the building, and you will have to choose your first Pokemon as Professor Elm wants you to visit his friend Mr. Pokemon near Cherrygrove City on an errand. Here are some statistics of the three starters. You can skip this and move on if you want, though. Chikorita --------- The grass type. Its final evolution Meganium is geared towards defense.Still, it is a good Pokemon offensively. However, Chikorita will be at a big disadvantage against the first two gyms. Totodile -------- It is the water type starter.Feraligatr, its final evolution is very powerful in physical offense with a base Atk of 120.However, most of its good moves are obtained only through breeding. It is not at a definite advantage or disadvantage against the early gyms. Cyndaquil --------- The fire starter and my personal recommendation as a starter. Its final evolution Typhlosion is a wonderful Special sweeper. It learns some great moves through level-up and TMs.A great choice for any team. Once you are done with the choosing, you are all set to leave. Elm's assistant will stop you and give you 5 Potions to help you on your way. As for me, I chose Cyndaquil. Before you leave, pick up the Pokegear from your mother, and we are all set to go.When you try to leave New Bark town and enter Route 29, Prof. Elm will come to give you his phone number. Finally, we can now enter Route 29. ------------------- b.Route 29 (SSWK1b) ------------------- ****************************************************************************** Pokemon | Rarity |Method | Level Range ****************************************************************************** * Morning| Day| Night * ************************ Pidgey 55% 55% 0% Grass 2 to 4 Sentret 40% 40% 0% Grass 2 to 3 Rattata 5% 5% 15% Grass 4(found only at level 4) Hoothoot 0% 0% 85% Grass 2 to 4 Minun 20% 20% 20% Hoenn Sound 2 to 3 (Nat. A man will give you an Apricorn Box .Collecting that, continue northwards on the same route, battling more wild Pokemon and picking up a Potion on the way. Finally, to the very north, you will find Mr Pokemon's house. Pick up the Antidote lying close by, and enter the house. After the conversations are over, Professor Oak will hand over the Pokedex and Mr Pokemon will give you the "Mystery Egg". When you exit the house, you will recieve a call from Prof. Elm stating that one of his prize Pokemon was stolen. Time to hurry back to New Bark now! Before doing so, make sure that your Pokemon is ATLEAST Level 7. ****************************************************************************** ----------------------- e.Rival Battle!(SSWK1e) ----------------------- Heal your Pokemon at the Pokemon Center in Cherrygrove. When you are ready, attempt to leave Cherrygrove via the east exit to Route 29.You will be stopped by the redhead who was peeping in Elm's window a while ago.Turns out he is the thief! ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Trainer's Pokemon |Level |Money ****************************************************************************** Passerby Boy Totodile(If you chose 5 $500 Cyndaquil) OR Chikorita(If you chose Totodile) 5 OR Cyndaquil(If you chose Chikorita) 5 ****************************************************************************** His Pokemon wont know any elemental attacks so rest asured, he won't be able to deal super-effective amage to you.If you followed my advice, your Pokemon will be Level 7 so it will be pretty much plain sailing.Just keep using your offensive attack and you will win easily. From now on,this boy will be your rival. Ethan/Lyra will be referred to by their names, so dont get confused by the two rivals. ****************************************************************************** ------------------------------- f.Back to New Bark Town(SSWK1f) ------------------------------- After the battle is over, head past Route 29 to New Bark Town. There, go straight to Elm's Lab. You will see that Prof Elm is talking to a smart looking Police Officer. You will be asked for the thief's name at this point. Name him whatever you like(I named him Gary) and talk with Prof Elm to hand over the Mystery Egg. And now, we begin our journey across Johto and Kanto! ****************************************************************************** -------------------- 2.First Badge(SSWK2) -------------------- When you enter Route 29 and take a few steps, Lyra/Ethan wil appear and teach you how to catch Pokemon.Once he/she is done, you will recieve 5 Pokeballs. I would suggest using one to catch Pidgey as Pidgey will be a very useful Pokemon throughout the game. NOTE:You could head to Route 46 instead if you want to capture Spearow/Geodude instead.Incase you want to do so, here is the Pokemon listing for Route 46: ****************************************************************************** Pokemon | Rarity |Method | Level Range ****************************************************************************** * Morning|Day |Night * ************************ Geodude 40% 40% 45% Grass 2 to 3 Spearow 35% 35% 0% Grass 2 to 3 Rattata 25% 25% 55% Grass 2 to 4 Plusle Hoenn Sound 2 to 3 (Nat. Level up your Pokemon a bit.If you captured Pidgey, it would be better to get some experience for it here, since the Pokemon(wild and trainer)on Route 30 might be too strong for it. When your strater is Level 8-10 and Pidgey/Spearow/Geodude is around level 5, head to Route 30.If you want, you could buy some supplies at Cherrygrove City. You will want to catch a Bellsprout definitely, as you can trade it for an Onix in Violet City. While there are no other Pokemon of note here, You should consider going to Dark Cave to get a Geodude(if you didnt earlier)/Zubat. Now, go down and right to fight Sage Edmond.Once thats done,go up the ladder near the Bellsprout statue to the right of Edmond. Now, you have come to the topmost floor of the Tower.Just 3 more sages to go before the elder. They are Sage Neal,Jin and Troy.Once you are done, move forward to find the Elder talking with who else, your Rival, telling him that he is treating his Pokemon too harshly(snigger). Now, its our turn to battle Elder Li. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Elder Li Bellsprout 7 $1200 Bellsprout 7 Hoothoot 10 ****************************************************************************** Note: If you acted on my advice and made all your Pokemon Level 10,this battle will be easy. However, be careful with the Hoothoot; It knows HYPNOSIS and will almost certainly try put your Pokemon to sleep. After you defeat Elder Li, he will give you TM70(Flash). Once you are done, grab the escape Rope to the right and we are finished with Sprout Tower.Phew! Exit Sprout Tower by going back the way you came or of course, you could use the Escape Rope you just obtained. ****************************************************************************** -------------------------------------- d.Falkner and the Zephyr Badge(SSWK2d) -------------------------------------- Make sure all your Pokemon are healed, buy some Potions at the Poke Mart, and we are all set to challenge the gym. Enter the gym, and you will find that it has recieved a complete revamp since the days of GSC.Go straight up the elevator and fight the following two trainers: ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Bird Keeper Rod Pidgey 7 $224 Pidgey 7 Bird Keeper Abe Spearow 9 $288 ****************************************************************************** Once you have defeated them, SAVE. Heal at the Pokemon Center if you wish by going back, and you are all set for your first Gym Battle. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Gym Leader Falkner Pidgey 9 $1560 Pidgeotto 13 ****************************************************************************** You definitely SHOULD have a level 10 Geodude/Onix for this match. The Pidgey wont pose much trouble as you SHOULD be able to OHKO it.If you dont, it will keep spamming Sand Attack to the point when all your moves will miss.So kill it quickly. Pidgeotto, however is going to be a bit difficult. It will keep using Roost and restore half its HP back.So you need to it hit hard and quickly with a Rock move(Geodude learns Rock Throw at Level 11,Onix at Level 9)to do a lot of damage. If you can do more than 50% of Pidgeotto's health in damage, you are well set. With repeated hits, I am sure you will kill Pidgeotto.Falkner will hand over the Zephyr Badge and TM51 which contains Roost when you win. And so, we are now one step closer to our goal-getting 8 badges and beating the Elite Four and Champion. As soon as you leave the gym, you will get a call from Professor Elm, asking you to pick up the Mystery Egg you gave him earlier from his assistant who will be waiting in the Poke Mart.Head there to pick up the egg.You wil also find another man standing to the left who will hand over a Super Potion if you talk to him. Now, our next destination is Azalea Town where Gym number 2 is located. Leave Violet City from the southern exit, and you will emerge on Route 32. ****************************************************************************** ------------------ The Ruins of Alph ------------------ Since this is an optional part of the walkthrough, I shall not list a seperate section for it. Other items include X Speed and X defend(found in rocks where you find TM39; keep pressing A on the rocks and you will find them soon enough.),X Attack, a Paralyze Heal and a Potion. Bugsy's metapod and Kakuna will hardly cause any problems, but the Scyhter is one big headache.U- Turn massacres Pokemon it is good against(including Geodude and Onix as they are part Ground type).Your best bet would be a fire type or a Flying type(like Pidgeotto).Be prepared to use a few Super Potions. Now, you can listen to the radio anytime on your PokeGear. Whitney would have gone back to her gym.You can challenge her anytime now. A FEMALE rock type would be very useful for this fight, since Miltank wont be able to use Attract and Stomp do too much damage either. However,Stomp might flinch your Pokemon so watch out for that. Otherwise, attack quickly with a fighting type for super-effective damage. Be prepared to use several Super Potions and maybe a Revive or two. With repeated hits, I am sure you will win. After you win,Whitney will start crying :- "Waaaaahhhhh!!!Sob!You meanie!" If you try and leave, you will be stopped by one of the trainers. You can go back and claim your badge after that, along with TM45(Attract).You can now use Strength outside battle too. The haircut shops are run by two brothers. The elder brother offers a haircut for $500,while the younger brother does so for $300. The more you pay, the more you get, since for a costlier haircut, your Pokemon gains more happiness. Note that items from the herb shop will reduce your the happiness of your Pokemon. At the Dance theater, you will find that a Team Rocket Grunt is creating some problems. He only has a level 12 Koffing(so I wasnt bothered to list a tabular column for the sake of a single trainer).Once he is defeated, you will recieve HM03(Surf).Teach it if you want to a Pokemon(for use within battle; you can use it for crossing water when you beat Morty)and head to Burned Tower. NOTE:The Rocket Grunt gives $480 when defeated. ****************************************************************************** Pokemon | Rarity |Method | Level Range ****************************************************************************** *Morning| Day | Night * *************************** Rattata 50% 50% 50% Walk 13 to 15 Raticate 5% 5% 5% Walk 15 Zubat 10% 10% 10% Walk 14 Koffing 35% 35% 35% Walk 14 to 16 Zigzagoon Hoenn Sound 3 to 4 (Nat. It is another good fire type(if you have a trading partner/Two DS's, you could get yourself a Magmortar) so catch if you want. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rival(-name-) Gastly 20 $1408 Zubat 20 Magnemite 18 Croconaw/Bayleef 22 /Quilava(depending on your starter) Firebreather Ned Koffing 16 $512 Koffing 16 Growlithe 17 Firebreather Richard Charmeleon 18 $576 ****************************************************************************** You will find that Morty has accompanied his friend Eusine to the Burned Tower. Head past them to the ladder and your rival will appear and challenge you. His Gastly will fall easily to any attack.Zubat too will fall quickly to Electric and Rock attacks.Magnemite will die to Ground,Fighting and Fire attacks. If he has a Bayleef, then a flying type like Pidgeotto/Spearow will do the job. If its a Quilava, it will fall easily to a Rock type or a Water type.If it is Croconaw, Electric types will kill it. When you defeat him, he will just run away.Dfeat the Fire Breathers too for exp. Descend to the floor below. When you approack the legendary beasts, they will just run away. Now Morty will return to his gym and you can challenge him anytime. Now thats we are going to do. ****************************************************************************** --------------------------------- e.Morty and the Fog Badge(SSWK5e) --------------------------------- Head straight to the gym after healing at the Poke Center.Your Pokemon should be atleast Level 25 if you want to have an easy time at the gym. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Medium Georgina Gastly 16 $768 Gastly 16 Gastly 16 Gastly 16 Gastly 16 Medium Grace Haunter 20 $960 Haunter 20 Medium Edith Haunter 22 $1056 Medium Martha Gastly 18 $960 Gastly 20 Haunter 20 Gym Leader Morty Gastly 19 $2760 Haunter 21 Haunter 23 Gengar 25 ****************************************************************************** This is why I said all your Pokemon had to be atleast level 25. The mediums all have only Gastlys(Gastlies? I dont know the plural form of Pokemon ending with "y" )and Haunters. However, that is not your only worry. Each time you beat a Medium, the light decreases. If you fall, the lighting comes back to normal. So, here is a tip : Beat all the mediums, then fall down, and just go back along the path. You will reach Morty easily this way instead of groping around in the darkness... Users of Croconaw will find it easier as Croconaw learns Bite and can do super Effective damage against the Ghost types. Normal types will also come in handy as they are immune to all Ghost attacks. A Miltank would be very useful as it can hit the Ghost types with Normal Attacks because of Scrappy.Normal/Flying types like Pidgeotto/Fearow can also help. Otherwise, just resort to some hard hitting Pokemon. Note that several of his Pokemon have Sucker Punch to attack first. Once you win, Morty will hand over the Fog Badge and TM30(Shadow Ball). Now, Surf can be used outside of battles too. We are halfway through to attaining all 8 badges now.Sweet! Before leaving Ecruteak, be sure to get the Dowsing Machine from a house. ****************************************************************************** ----------------------------------------- 6.Across the sea to The Fifth Badge(SSWK6) ----------------------------------------- Now that we have Surf, we can cross water. She requests us to obain medicine from a shop in Cianwood,so thats where we are headed now.To do so, you need a Pokemon which knows Surf. The trainers are spread out throughout Route 41, so explore all the areas before headong to Cianwood City. ****************************************************************************** ----------------------------------- f.Chuck and the Storm Badge(SSWK6e) ----------------------------------- Go straight to the Pokemon Center and heal. Then, get the medicine for Ampharos at the medicine shop, which also serves as the Poke Mart for this city. Get some Potions and Revives for the gym battle. Remember, you SHOULD be around Level 28 for this gym. But before we can head to the gym, we have to head north of Cianwood first. Suicune can be seen there(of course, it will run away when walk close). Then, Eusine will appear and challenge you to a match! ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Mysticman Eusine Drowzee 25 $3240 Electrode 27 Haunter 25 ****************************************************************************** This will be an easy fight, especially if you are Level 26 or above. Drowzee likes to use Hypnosis till it puts you to sleep. So kill it quickly or it will sap your health away with Dream Eater.Haunter falls quickly to powerful attacks.Electrode is the only Pokemon that might cause you problems as it is VERY fast. However, a ground type will wall it completely. If you dont have a ground type, then just hit it hard with whatever you have got.Electrode has horrible defenses, and will die pretty quickly to some STAB'ed attacks. Now, we can finally head to the gym.Heal your Pokemon again if you want, and we are all set. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Black Belt Lao Hitmonchan 27 $648 Black Belt Lung Mankey 23 $600 Mankey 23 Primeape 25 Black Belt Nob Machop 25 $600 Machoke 25 Black Belt Yoshi Hitmonlee 27 $648 Gym Leader Chuck Primeape 29 $3720 Poliwrath 31 ****************************************************************************** Flying and Psychic types wil be of Great use in this gym. You will see that the old strength puzzle no longer exists.Instead, Chuck is standing under a Artificial Waterfall. What we have to do is to turn off the water supply for the waterfall to make Chuck battle us.However, the Black Belts stand between us and the switch that turns the waterfall off. The Black belts are fairly easy to deal with.So is the puzzle.Just defeat the Black Belts, turn the switch off, and fight Chuck. However, Chuck could cause a LOT of problems if you are underlevelled.Thats why I asked you to be atleast Level 28, if not more. Chuck has only 2 Pokemon.Primeape will use Rock Slide if you attempt to kill it with flying types.Still, hopefully your Pokemon should be faster,so that they can land the first hit.If you are not using a flying type, it will spam Double Team to make you miss. This will be VERY frustrating, so take it out before it gets to the stage when you can'r even land an attack. Poliwrath, likes to spam Hypnosis(like Eusine's Drowzee earlier)if you deal super effective damage to it.Otherwise,it will just try to kill you outright with Body Slam and Surf.Psychic,Electric and Flying type Pokemon can help you a lot against Poliwrath. Once you win, Chuck will give you the Storm Badge and TM02(Focus Punch). Now, Fly can be used out of battle too. Leave the gym, and talk to the woman near the gym to recieve HM02(Fly). Teach it to one of your Flying types, and Fly straight back to Olivine with the Medicine for Ampharos. ****************************************************************************** ------------------------ 7.The Sixth Badge(SSWK7) ------------------------ Before we can challenge Jasmine, we need to deliver the medicine to the sick Ampharos. NOTE: If you surf left of Olivine, TM57(Charge Beam) can be found. --------------------------- a.Olivine Lighthouse(SWK7a) --------------------------- No need to use the stairs;just use the elevator to get to the top and give the medicine. You will see that the Ampharos is all right now. Janine will go back to her gym and we can challenge here now. Thats is what we are going to do now, of course. ****************************************************************************** --------------------------------------- b.Jasmine and the Mineral Badge(SSWK7b) --------------------------------------- Strangely, Olivine's gym doesnt have a single trainer except for the gym leader. We can go straight to Janine and start the match. Still, you need to be atleast level 31 to win, since the Steelix might cause you problems. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Gym Leader Janine Magnemite 30 $4200 Magnemite 30 Steelix 35 ****************************************************************************** Fire,Fighting and particularly Ground type attacks will kill the 2 Magnemites quickly but the Steelix can cause you a lot of problems. First o fall, physical attacks will hardly do ANY damage to Steelix due to its gigantic base 200 Defense. Therefore, you have to target its weak base 65 Spl. Defense with Special Attacks like Surf. Water types will kill Steelix very quickly. Attacks like Flamethrower will also be of good use. Once you win, you will recieve the Mineral Badge and TM23(Iron Tail). The Safari Zone is also now open. Our next destination is Mahogany City, which we will go to by heading through Ecruteak. So go to Ecruteak.Dont forget that we can fly to ANY town we have visited before. ****************************************************************************** ----------------------------------------------------------- 8.The Seventh Badge, and Team Rocket's Sinister Plan(SSWK8) ----------------------------------------------------------- Mahogany is situated west of Ecruteak. We have to head via Route 42.Heal if you want at the Pokemon Center. ****************************************************************************** --------------------------------- a.Route 42 and Mt. A status condition like Sleep or Paralysis will also be very useful. When its health is low, keep tossing Great/Ultra Balls till you catch it. After you catch(or kill)it, Lance will appear. He requests your help in busting Team Rocket out of Mahogany Town and will fly to Mahogany. If you want, you can exchange the Red Scale for a Exp. Share wit Mr.Pokemon. Each statue serves as a camera of sorts, so be prepared to fight a Rocket Grunt each time you pass in front of one. If you dont want to fight these Grunts, then head down via a narrow passage into a small room with a computer and a scientist. Beat the scientist, and press A on the computer to shut down the cameras in the statues. I suggest that you DONT do this as the Rocket Grunts are(what else?) a good source of exp. Anyway, head either west once you reach the main corridor or head east from the narrow passage to find a Hyper Potion and a Nugget.Heading west from here will bring you to the stairs to B2F, but you will miss out on some wild Pokemon battles if you head WEST from the main corridor.Actually, these wild Pokemon are "traps" set in the floor. You can also access them from the stairway to B2F(just head north). This is to make sure you get some good amount of exp.Fight all the Grunts too. NOTE:You will fight Geodudes(level 21),Voltorbs(23) and Koffings(level 21) in the traps. Head down once you are done. You should be around Level 34-35 by this time. While it is not recommended that you should be,it is just better to be SLIGHTLY overlevelled now, so that you dont have to waste time increasing levels later instead of continuing with the story. Hideout, B2F ------------- You will find Lance here.Talk to him to get all your Pokemon healed. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rocket Grunt Venonat 18 $720 Venonat 18 Rocket Grunt Golbat 18 $720 ****************************************************************************** Fight both these grunts, the head down to B3F.Note that the door guarding the generator requires a password. Hideout,B3F ----------- You will see Lance talking to a Grunt. Head north via the narrow corridor to find a Full Heal and TM49(Snatch).Go left(after coming back to where you saw Lance) to fight a Scientist and another Grunt. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rocket Grunt Raticate 19 $760 Scientist Mitch Ditto 24 $768 Rocket Grunt Ekans 18 $720 Gloom 18 Scientist Ross Koffing 22 $704 Koffing 22 ****************************************************************************** Go and fight the Scientist and female Rocket Grunt in the other room.Once you defeat the Rocket Grunt, she will reveal the password. Hideout,B3F ----------- Head up the other staircase you see to get TM46(Thief).Come down the staircase again, and head right this time.Your Rival will run up(not a battle! So dont worry)and say that he got thrashed by Lance in a battle(hahah!Must have been Pwn'd by Dragonite)and run away again.Pretty pointless interruption, anyway. Go to the door and press A. It will open and you will fight Petrel. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rocket Executive Petrel Zubat 22 $880 Koffing 22 Raticate 24 ****************************************************************************** This is an exceedingly easy fight. Any electric attack will almost certainly KO Zubat. Psychic attacks(pretty much any attack though)will Koffing too. Raticate wont pose too many problems either. Fighting attacks will be super- effective,of course.Just watch out for Sucker Punch, since it will strike first if you are using an offensive move. Once you win, Petrel will run away.Follow his Murkrow back to B2F where you will have to battle with Executive Ariana and Rocket Grunt ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Executive Ariana Arbok 25 Gloom 25 Murkrow 27 and $2960 Rocket Grunt Drowzee 18 Grimer 20 ****************************************************************************** You wont have too many problems for this battle as you will joined by Lance's LEVEL 40 Dragonite.Just keep your Pokemon alive doing some damage and Dragonite will take care of the rest. Once you win, you will have to fight and catch/kill all six Electrodes.Since this will give you quite some exp.,dont bother catching any.If you really want one, dont catch more than one. You will need all the eperience you can. NOTE: You can only kill/catch 3 Electrodes.Lance will take care of the other three. Once thats done, you will recieve HM05(Whirlpool)from Lance. It is now time to get Badge No. 7 as well. ****************************************************************************** ------------------------------------- d.Pryce and the Glacier Badge(SSWK8d) ------------------------------------- Go to the Pokemon Center to heal. Just push the ice blocks against another and you can use them as blocks to slip and slide across the ice floor.Very much easy. You need to have all your Pokemon around Level 33-35 for this gym. There are 3 roooms in the gym. The first one doesnt have any trainers.Just push the block against the other, slide and get to the other side. The second room has a few trainers.Battle them, push the ice block near the female skier to the right against the other block.Battle Boarder Patton, then go back where you pushed the ice block.Slide there, then slide up to go to the door to room 3.In room 3,battle Boarder Deadre first, then push the Ice block against the other. Then slide up to Skier Jill.Once you beat her, slide back down to to the ice block. With the support of the stones and blocks, slide back up to fight Boarder Gerado. Then, slide left and up to reach Pryce. Seel and Dewgong will fall easily to Fire attacks. Piloswine will take heavy damage from ALL 3 starters(Grass,Water AND fire are super-effective against it).Note that Grass and Fire will take super-effective damage from Piloswine. Once you win, You will recieve the Glacier Badge and TM 07(Hail) It wil be a LONG time before we can get our 8th badge as we now have to go bust Team Rocket in Goldenrod. Head to a Goldenrod when you are ready. ****************************************************************************** ------------------------------- 9.Team Rocket,Blast Off.(SSWK9) ------------------------------- You will find that Goldenrod is swarming with Team Rocket Grunts. If you try to access the upper floors of Radio Tower, a Grunt will stop you.In fact, Grunts are blocking several buildings in Goldenrod. To enter, you need to head dpwn to the Goldenrod Underground to get a Team Rocket disguise from the Rocket Grunt there. Now, we can finally enter the Radio Tower.Make sure you around Level 35 by now,and save if you like. Once you are ready, head to the Radio Tower. Radio Tower,1F -------------- You can now head to the stairs in your disguise. Just as you are about to go up the stairs, your Rival will come and blow your whole disguise up. Try take them out in one hit with Psychic attacks. Weezing is much tougher than the Koffing. Just hit it with Psychic attacks or any other powerful attack. Once you win, Petrel will give you the Basement Key for the locked door in Goldenrod Underground.Thats where we are headed now. ****************************************************************************** ------------------------------- b.Goldenrod Underground(SSWK9b) ------------------------------- First heal at the Pokemon Center, buy some Hyper Potions and Revives, and save. Head to the Goldenrod Underground after that. NOTE:If you weren't already, you definitely should be around Level 35 by this. When you go to the locked door in the underground, you will see a Kimono Girl. She will talk as usual and leave. use the Key, and enter the Basement. Walk a few steps, and your Rival will appear and challenge you to a battle. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rival (-name-) Haunter 32 $2048 Sneasel 32 Golbat 30 Magnemite 34 Quilava/Feraligatr/ 34 Meganium ****************************************************************************** This is why you should be around Level 35(minimum 33).Haunter goes down to Psychic/Dark/Ghost attacks. Sneasel will be OHKO'd by a good fighting attack. Golbat will fall to Electric attacks. Magnemite will die to fighting/fire atatcks. Ground atatcks also work on it. His starter will likely pose the most problems for you. Quilava will die to Water types, but Feraligatr wont die as easily.Even Electric and Grass attacks will,at the most, 2HKO it. Meganium will die to Fire and Flying attacks but since it has great defense stats, you will require several hits. Once you win, he will just run away as usual, leaving you free to solve the puzzle here. There are several trainers here too(Burglars and Rocket Grunts). ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rocket Grunt Rattata 27 $1080 Rocket Grunt Muk 23 $1000 Koffing 23 Rattata 23 Burglar Duncan Koffing 23 $384 Koffing 23 Magmar 25 Burglar Orson Growlithe 26 $384 Koffing 24 Rocket Grunt Koffing 24 $960 Muk 24 Rocket Grunt Gloom 25 $1000 Gloom 25 ****************************************************************************** If you head left, you can find a Full Heal. Then press the Blue switch, and fight Burglar Orson and fight the Rocket Grunt with Muk and Koffing. Press the red switch, and fight Burglar Duncan. Pocket the Smoke Ball lying nearby too. If you just want to continue instead of fighting all the trainers, press the switches in this order: Red Blue Green If you fought all the trainers, just go out, then come back in, and press the switches in the above order. After pressing the switches, go south then right, and you will see another violet colour switch. Press it, and all the doors will open. Fight the grunt, and head into the room. In this room, the path is pretty much easy to follow. You will find some items, such as an Ultra Ball, Max Ether and TM82(Sleep Talk). You will also fight some Rocket Grunts: ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rocket Grunt Raticate 24 $960 Golbat 24 Rocket Grunt Grimer 26 $920 Weezing 23 Rocket Grunt Koffing 25 $1000 Koffing 25 ****************************************************************************** Beat the trainers, heading along the path. Near the end, you will find the man Executive Petrel was pretending to be earlier. He will give you the Card Key and ask to you rid the town of Team Rocket. That is exactly what we are going to do. Grab the TM82 lying near him, and go up the stairs. You will emerge on the basement of Goldenrod Departmental Store. Grab the Amulet Coin sitting right in front of you, and head up the elevator back to ground level. Heal and buy some more healing items if you want, since we will be fighting several executives in the Radio Tower next. When you are ready, head to the Radio Tower. You should definitely be atleast Level 36 for the fights that will follow. Radio Tower ----------- Head to 3F, where you saw the shut door earlier. The battle shoulnt be too much of a problem. Golbat will fall to electric attacks. Weezing, like any other that you ahve fought before, dis to Psychic atacks, or any strong attack(s). Once you beat him, climb up the next set of stairs.Dont forget to pick up the Ultra Ball lying near him. Radio Tower,5F -------------- Head left, and you come across Executive Ariana. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rocket Executive Ariana Arbok 32 $2560 Vileplume 32 Murkrow 32 ****************************************************************************** All her Pokemon are Level 32. Head up the elevator when you are ready. We are now going to fight Rocket Executive Archer. Radio Tower Top(Observation Desk) --------------------------------- You will find Archer staring out of the window. Talk to him, and the battle will start. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Rocket Executive Archer Houndour 35 $3040 Koffing 35 Houndoom 38 ****************************************************************************** Houndour and Koffing will not trouble you a lot. They will fall to Water and Psychic attacks. However, Houndoom will be very dangerous if you are low levelled. THIS is why I suggested that you be atleast Level 36. Water Pokemon will be of very good use agaisnt Houndoom. Those who picked Totodile will have Feraligatr by now. Once you win, Archer will officially disband Team Rocket. The Director of the Radio Tower(the man who was impisioned by team Rocket in the Underground) will then thank you and give you the Silver Wing. There are no trainers here, however. As soon as you enter, head left and up.Slide across the ice to the other side. Climb up the stairs and go along the raised path till its end.Head a little left and you wil come to some ice.Slide across the ice hitting the rocks for support, and you will soon reach the other side.Slide across the ice patch to get HM07(Waterfall). DO NOT GO UP THE STAIRS BEFORE YOU GET HM07 as you might miss it and have to come back later. You can also find a Protein and a PP Up on this floor. Now, go up the stairs and on the other side, go down the ladder. Ice Path,B1F ------------ Its the same old Strength puzzle again. You have to push boulders using Strength into the holes to use them as supports to slide on the ice in B2F. Go up a bit, head left and come down to find to 2 boulders. Push the first one up till it comes to rest against an icicle.Push the second one right then down 3 steps. Then, go all the way around the boulder such that you are to its right, then push it 5 STEPS left. The, you can just go behind it, push it down 1 step, then push it into the hole from its left.Fall into the hole with it, and slide on the ice till you find a ladder going up. Use that, and you will be on the north-east corner of B1F. Now, Head left till you find another boulder.Head below, and push it up 2 STEPS from down. Then, go to its left, and push it 2 STEPS. Go below it again, and push it up 3 STEPS. Then go above it, and push it DOWN 1 STEP.Now you can push it into the hole from its right. Continue down(dont fall into the hole!),then head right a few steps and then up to findthe next boulder. You have to push it into the hole I cautioned you to not fall into. This can be a bit tricky, though.Go to its right, and push it 1 STEP to its left. Then, go above it, and push it down till it comes to rest against an icy rock. Then, go to its right, and push it 1 STEP left. Go up, and push it 3 STEPS down.Go below it, and jsut push it 1 STEP up again. You can now push it into the hole from its right easily. That leaves with just ONE BOULDER left.Go back to where you found 2 boulders close to each other(of course, now you will find only one as we pushed one down).Approach the lone boulder left from where we pushed the other one down. Push it up as far as you can. Then go all the way round and approach it from the other side so that you can push it form its left right just one step above the hole. Now, push it into the hole from above it. Now, head to the hole near the ladder leading own to B3F. Dont use the ladder; instead, fall down THAT hole.Doing so will be the easiest way to slide across the ice in B2F and finally reach the ladder to B3F. Ice Path,B2F ------------ With the support of all 4 boulders, you can slide across the ice till you reach the stable land in the middle. Go down the ladder to B3F. Ice Path,B3F ------------ The path is pretty much strightforward.Either smash the rock or go all the way around to get the NeverMeltIce,then go up the ladder. Ice Path,B2F Part2 ------------------ You can just slide down and go up the ladder but you will TM72(Avalanche) on the other side of the room.Just slide from the patch of land surrounding the ladder right till you hit a rock, slide up till you reach stable land, move left 2 steps, slide down, then right, and you will hit TM72.Pocket that, and just go up the ladder. Ice Path,B1F,Part2 ------------------ Head left to find the ladder. If you want the item below(it is an Iron),push the boulder down, then go to the other side and slide on the ice till you hit the strength boulder.Slide down, and you will get the Iron. Head up the ladder. Ice Path,1F,Part2 ----------------- Phew, this is the last floor.Get the Protein on the raised platform. Then, walk down a few steps and you will find a Kimono Girl stuck beween two Icy Rocks. First, slide across the ice, till you get the PP Up down below. From where you get the item, slide up(you will hit a rock),then right, then up to hit a row of rocks near where you started. Slide left till you hit a rock, slide down then right, and you are right above the Kimono Girl.Turn to face her, and press A. She will say that she got stuck and request your help. She will then slide down(Whoooshh!),back on to stable land. She will thank you, and leave by the exit. Follow her to the exit and we are outta here! Head down, and you will reach Blackthorn. ****************************************************************************** ------------------------------------------------------ c.Blackthorn City, Clair and the Rising Badge(SSWK10c) ------------------------------------------------------ Head to the Poke Center to heal first. After it moves left, step back on the blue circle to rotate it.Now, step on the arrow pointing UP. Then step on the arrow pointing down, then on the blue circle to rotate the platform again, then the RIGHT arrow,to make the platform line up with the pathway. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Ace Trainer Paolo Dratini 35 $2100 Dratini 35 Seadra 35 Ace Trainer Lola Dratini 35 $2200 Dragonair 37 Ace Trainer Cody Horsea 35 $2200 Seadra 37 Ace Trainer Fran Seadra 38 $2280 Ace Trainer Mike Dragonair 38 $2280 Gym Leader Clair Dragonair 38 $4920 Dragonair 38 Gyarados 38 Kingdra 41 ****************************************************************************** Fight Ace Traiber Paulo first, and then Ace Trainer Lola. If you step into the yellow oval to her right, you will be warped back to the gym's entrance. You can use them as a handy shortcut if your Pokemon are low on health and you want to head to the Poke Center. Step onto the next platform when you are done with these 2 Ace Trainers. Step on the arrow pointing up, then back in the blue circle to rotate the platform, then step on the right arrow to move right. Step back on the blue circle to rotate, then the arrow pointing up, and now, step on the arrow pointing down, then rotate the platform, and finally the right arrow, and you can step onto the path now. Fight Ace Trainer Cody, then continue on the path , fighting Ace Trainer Fran next. Once you win, fight Ace Trainer Mike next. There is another transporter here.Use it if you want tohead back to the Poke Center, since we are fighting the Gym Leader next. Step on the right arrow on this platform first, then rotate it. Rotate it AGAIN, then step on the right arrow. Rotate it ONCE MORE, and now, you should be in a position where you can repeatedly move the platform by stepping on the arrow pointing up again and again till you are close to the path leading to the Gym Leader. At that point, rotate it, and move left. You will bounce back. Rotate it, and move up. You will bounce back again. Rotate it AGAIN and move RIGHT.You canno rotate it again, since a part of the platform is touching the wall. Just move left this time, and rotate the platform AGAIN(all this turning is starting to make me dizzy!).Move up, and bounce off. Rotate the platform ONCE MORE, and move left. You can rotate the platform THIS time, since it isnt touching the wall.Rotate, and move up TWO times. You can NOW finally battle the Gym Leader, who is certainly no pushover. You definitely want an ICE type or atleast Ice type attacks on your Pokemon. You can kill the 2 Dragonairs with Ice type attacks, and the Gyarados with repeated Electric attacks, but the Kingdra will cause lots of problems if you are below Level 40. It's two STAB attacks are Hydro Pump and Dagon Pulse. It will occasionally use Smokescreen to lower accuracy. Dont use Fire Pokemon against it, it will kill them in one hit with Hydro Pump. Just hit it whatever you have got, and you will win soon enough. Once you win, she will(surprise!)REFUSE to give the badge. She thinks you aren't worthy of getting the badge, or maybe that you won by fluke. Whatever it is, we now have to go to the Dragon's Den and pass the test there. Just return to the entrance of the gym by stepping on the teleporter near Clair. Heal if you want, and head to the Dragon's Den. NOTE:You need Pokemon with Surf And Whirpool for Dragon's Den. Since you can get a Dratini from a man there, have only 5 Pokemon with you when you enter Dragon's Den. ***************************************************************************** ----------------------- c.Dragon's Den(SSWK10c) ----------------------- Make sure you have Pokemon with Surf and Whirpool. Surf down a bit, and you will see Twins Clea and Gil on a narrow bit of land. Disembark and fight them, and pocket the Max Elixir nearby. Surf again, and go down to find a whirpool. Use Whirpool to pass it, and continue down then go left, and you will find a house. Don't go in NOW, but keep surfing left then up, and you will find stairs. Go up them, and you will find a Dragon Fang. Once you get the Dragon Fang, surf back to the house, and this time, enter it. You will find an old man will ask you questions. Answer them all correctly, and you will get a Dratini. Here are the answers: What are Pokemon to you? Friend How do you win battles? Strategy What is important for raising Pokemon Love Which is more important among Strong and Weak Pokemon? Both Which Trainer do you want to battle? Any Trainer. Once you answer the questions, Clair will come in. She STILL refuses to give the badge. Finally, the old man intervenes, and asks her to give the badge. So, finally! We get the Rising Badge which allows us to use Waterfall outside battle. You can also use Level 100 Pokemon now. Thats it for Dragon's Den. Just head back to Blackthorn City.Near the ladder to the exit, you will see Clair, who will give you TM59(Dragon Pulse). As soon as you exit Dragon's Den, Elm will call you, asking you to come to New Bark. This will be to give you the Master Ball. You will also see that 3 Pokemon are physical sweepers(Fearow,Heracross, Tangrowth),while three Pokemon are Special Sweepers(Typhlosion,Tentacruel, Ampharos).Keep the same balance with your Team too. If you want, get some Good TM's from Goldenrod Department Store.Teach your Pokemon useful moves from the TM's you have on hand. Please have Atleast One FAST Pokemon with ICE BEAM/BLIZZARD, snce it will be of great help against the Champion Lance. It should be FAST,or Bulky. You will see that Tentacruel is BOTH fast(100 Base Spd) and Bulky(120 Base Spl Def). Ampharos would be very useful(from personal experience)since it has Electric attacks to deal super-efective damage to Xatu and Slowbro AND also weather the Special Attack based blows of Will's Pokemon due to its high Spl. Def. Fire types like Typhlosion and Flareon will also be useful against Jynx and Exeggcutor. Psychic Pokemon would be of great help against him. Otherwise, just use fast Pokemon with powerful attacks. Watch out for Hitmontop, since with Technician, Quick Attack and Triple Kick can deal good amount of damage.Hitmochan and Hitmonlee are similiar in offense, with Hitmonchan getting more coverage, Both fall quickly to super effective attacks. Machamp is the most dangerous Pokemon on his team, since none of its moves miss due to No Guard. Fotunately, this means none of YOUR moves miss either against it. So feel free to fire off powerful but inaccurate atatcks like Thunder, Blizzard and Focus Blast against it. She gets some good coverage with her Pokemon of varied types. Umbreon might cause you problems due to its high Defense which when coupled with Double Team/Confuse Ray can irritate you a lot. Moves like Aerial Ace, Magical Leaf and Swift will be useful since they never miss. Most attacks will only be 2HKO at best. Use fighting types for most damage. Vileplume dies quickly to Fire attacks. Murkrow will fall to almost any Electric attack. Gengar can be dangerous if it predicts correctly with Destiny Bond. You MIGHT lose a Pokemon agaisnt Gengar due to Destiny Bond. Houndoom will be the biggest threat. Kill it quickly with water attacks. Once you win, the door to the Champion will open. It is indeed very much unfair that Lance has 3 Dragonites below Lvl 55, the level when they originally evolve. Gyarados dies to Electric attacks, but due to its high Spl Def, it will mostly be a 2HKO. Aerodactyl is like Koga's Crobat, but it is more powerful offensively. Kill it with Electric/Ice/Water attacks. Charizard dies quickly to Rock attacks. It gets great coverage so be careful. Then come the three Dragonites which will be infinitely frustrating to kill if you are underlevelled. This is exactly why I sugggested you have Blizzrd/ Ice Beam on atleast One Pokemon. Few attacks will OHKO Dragonite easily. 2 Dragonites have Thunder Wave for paralysis, so watch out for that too.Note that the Lvl 50 Dragonite has Safeguard for protection agaisnt Status. Never hesitate to use Hyper Potions and Revives for this fight. I hope you have atleast 10 of Hyper Potions and Revives for this fight. Once you prevail,Prof Oak will turn up with DJ Mary, but Lance will whisk you away to the Hall of Fame. Congrats! You are the Pokemon Champion now. It is now time to continue our adventure in Kanto. Head to Prof Elm's lab to get the ticket for the steamer in Olivine called the SS Aqua. We are going to go to Kanto on that ship which is chock full of trainers. Goodie! Once you get the ticket, head to Olivine. Head into the building at the south of the town(leading to a pier from where you can fish). The magnificient SS Aqua will be docked there. Below is a list of all the trainers you can fight. Fight all of them, since they give TONS of experience. Neat, isnt it? To reach the Captain of the ship, go up the ladder near Picnivker Debra, and enter the door. You will find the missing grandaughter playing with the Captain. She still wont go back to her grandpa, and wants to play Hide and Seek with you. Ah well. Just head to where you fought Juggler Fritz, and you will find her pretty easily. After that, you can go to her grandfather to get a Metal Coat. The SS Aqua will also stop and a message will be declared saying you have reached Vermillion City. ****************************************************************************** ------------------------------------------------ 14.Vermilion City and the Thunder Badge(SSWK14) ------------------------------------------------ As soon as you disembark and walk a few steps up the pier, Suicune(and Eusine) will appear....and dissapear. After that incident, head to the Pokemon Center. Hopefuly, you are around Level 50 by now. All of his Pokemon share a weakness to Ground type attacks. Just dont use Water types and you will be fine. Once you win, Lt. Surge will hand over the Thunder Badge and TM34(Shock Wave). Heal, and head to Route 6. ****************************************************************************** ------------------------------------------- 15.Saffron City and the Marsh Badge(SSWK15) ------------------------------------------- To reach Safron City, we have to head through Route 6. ****************************************************************************** ------------------ a.Route 6(SSWK15a) ------------------ The only thing to do is fight the 3 Trainers here: ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Camper Virgil Slakoth 43 $688 Picnicker Selina Cherubi 42 $672 Twins Day and Dani Plusle 41 $1312 Minun 41 ****************************************************************************** For your sake, here are the wild Pokemon too, but at a horribly low level: ****************************************************************************** Pokemon | Rarity |Method | Level Range ****************************************************************************** *Morning| Day | Night * *************************** Pidgey 30% 30% 0% Grass 13 Abra 10% 10% 10% Grass 12 to 14 Oddish 0% 0% 30% Grass 13 Bellsprout 30% 30% 20% Grass 13 to 14 Meowth 20% 20% 30% Grass 13 to 14 Magnemite 10% 10% 10% Grass 15 Psyduck 90% 90% 90% Surf 5 to 10 10% 10% 10% Surf 10 Poliwag 5%(O) 5%(O) 5%(O) Old,Good, 10 to 40 40%(G) 40%(G) 40%(G) Super Rods 93%(S) 93%(S) 93%(S) Magikarp 95%(O) 95%(O) 95%(O) Old,Good, 10 to 40 60%(O) 60%(O) 60%(O) Super Rods 7%(O) 7%(O) 7%(O) Whismur Hoenn Sound 13 (Nat.Dex) Linoone Hoenn Sound 14 (Nat.Dex) Bidoof Sinnoh Sound 14 (Nat. Each room has 4 warping panels and a trainer. Fight Medium Rebecca, and take the panel in the bottom left. Fight Psychic Jared, and take the TOP,LEFT panel. Fight Psychic Franklin and take the BOTTOM LEFT panel to fight Medium Darcy. Chosose the BOTTOM LEFT panel, and you will end up in front of Sabrina. Ghost amd Dark type attacks will be super-effective, though you could just use any powerful Physical attack. Since Psychic types have a genreally good Spl. Def, Physical attack will deal more damage compared to their Spl Atk based counterparts. The only troublesome Pokemon will be Espeon, with its high Spl Atk, couple with its ability to set up and sweep with Calm mind. Kill it ASAP to avoid a world of pain. Once you win, Sabrina will hand over the Marsh Badge and TM48(Skill Swap). Before you leave Saffron City, do the following 2 things: a)Talk to the Mimicry Girl in a house in the western part of town. She asks you to find her lost doll. Just fly to Vermilion, talk to a man in the Fan Club, and you get the Doll back. Return it to the Mimicry Girl, and she will hand over a Magnet Train Pass. Now, you can commute between Johto and Kanto with much more ease than before. b)Get TM29(Psychic) from Mr Psychic's house in the southern part of town. ****************************************************************************** 16.Celadon City and the Rainbow Badge(SSWK16) --------------------------------------------- Well, I am going to Celadon next, not to Cerulean.Note that this walkthrough follows the below route: Vermilion-->Saffron-->Celadon-->Fuchsia-->Lavender-->Cerulean-->Pewter --> | Mt. Silver<--Viridian<--Cinnabar<--Pallet<--| You can take the other route(Saffron-Cerulean-Lavender-Fushsia-Cinnabar-Pallet -Pewter-Viridian-Mt. Silver),but it will be longer. Head west from Saffron to reach Route 7,quite possible the smallest Route in any Pokemom game. However, there are several Pokemon found even here: ****************************************************************************** Pokemon | Rarity |Method | Level Range ****************************************************************************** *Morning| Day | Night * *************************** Spearow 30% 30% 0% Grass 17 Meowth 30% 30% 30% Grass 17 Persian 5% 5% 5% Grass 19 Rattata 5% 0% 0% Grass 15 Raticate 10% 10% 10% Grass 19 Vulpix 20% 25% 20% Grass 15 to 18 Murkrow 0% 0% 30% Grass 17 Houndour 0% 0% 5% Grass 15 Minun Hoenn Sound 17 (Nat. If you didnt choose Cyndaquil, this must be the best Fire type in the game other than Typhlosion. Murkrow is also a good Pokemon. Head west to Celadon when you are ready. ****************************************************************************** -------------------------------------- b.Erika and the Rainbow Badge(SSWK16b) -------------------------------------- Celadon City is the Goldenrod of Kanto, with its own Department Store and Game Corner. In a somewhat bizzare way, Grimer and Muk can be found by Surfing on the pond near the Game Corner. However, we are only interested in the gym.Heal, and head to the gym. NOTE:TM67(Recycle)can be found on the path behind Celadon Mansion. You can also get some great TM's in the Celadon Department Store. Get some if you have the cash to burn. Make sure you have Cut, since you need it to access the gym AND solve the puzzle in it, and head to the gym. The Gym resembles a rainforest, with pretty flowers though. There are 4 trainers here, cleverly camouflaged in the surroundings. So keep your eyes open. The puzzle is very easy to solve, though. You will reach the leader easily. ****************************************************************************** Trainer |Pokemon |Level(s) |Money ****************************************************************************** Twins Jo and Zoe Victreebel 47 $1504 Vileplume 47 Lass Michelle Skiploom 44 $736 Hoppip 45 Jumpluff 46 Picnicker Tanya Exeggcutor 49 $784 Beauty Julia Paras 44 $2632 Parasect 51 Carnivine 47 Gym Leader Erika Jumpluff 51 $6720 Tangela 52 Victreebell 56 Bellossom 56 ****************************************************************************** A Fire type will barbecue all of Erika's Pokemon. Heal, buy some stuff if you want, and head west to Cycling Road. ****************************************************************************** ---------------------------------------- 17.Cycling Road and Fuchsia City(SSWK17) ---------------------------------------- Now we head to Fuchsia City, via CylingRoad, having tons of trainers with loads of experience. ****************************************************************************** -------------------------------- a.Route 16 and Route 17(SSWK17a) -------------------------------- ****************************************************************************** Pokemon | Rarity |Method | Level Range ****************************************************************************** *Morning| Day | Night * *************************** Grimer 50% 50% 80% Grass 26 to 28 Muk 5% 5% 5% Grass 29 Slugma 5% 5% 5% Grass 27 Murkrow 0% 0% 10% Grass 29 Fearow 40% 40% 0% Grass 27 to 29 Minun Hoenn Sound 26 to 27 (Nat.
