Introduction Jet Grind Radio (also known as Jet Set Radio in Japan and Europe), was originally released for the Sega Dreamcast in 2000. The Smilebit branch of Sega developed the game. It was the first game to use the revolutionary cel-shading graphics, which made the game appear as a cartoon. It is also highly praised for its unique gameplay. You take control of any of several members of a roller blade gang known as the GGs as they battle for turf, fight the police, tag up the streets, and uncover a conspiracy to take over the city of Tokyo-to! It's easily one of the best games for the Dreamcast, and I highly recommend it to anyone. It has spawned two sequels, Jet Set Radio Future for the Xbox, and Jet Set Radio for the Gameboy 2. Differences between American and Japanese Soundtracks As you may have noticed from looking at the track listings, there are several differences between the American soundtrack, and the Japanese one. The big difference is songs that were added in for the American release. Since Sega added the Grind Square levels for the American release of the game, they thought it would be appropriate to add American music to these levels. Five songs were added to the release, and they are the following: Rob Zombie - Dragula Professional Murder Music - Slow Cold - Just Got Wicked Mixmaster Mike - Patrol Knob Jurassic-5 - Improvise 5.
