I decided to write this because, for those of you out there like me, you want to know what the souls are like in each version before you decide which one you're going to get. I figured this would be as good a time as any to start writing one and I hope that you can tell what everything means. I haven't gotten everything being that I can't speak Japanese, so any corrections/additions are welcome. Also, this was written in Lucida Console, so it's best to view it with that font. ======================= Controls [CNTRL] ======================= D-Pad: Used to move Navis and Lan throughout the world. Select: Used to skip cutscenes. Start: Pause/Opens the menu. A: Examine Objects/Use Battle Chips/Charge Chips/Confirm. B: Buster Attack/Hold to dash/Cancel. L: Talk to Lan or Megaman. R: Jack In. o---------------------------------------o | Beast/Cross System [B&CSM] | o---------------------------------------o ======================= Beast [BEAST] ======================= New to this game is the Beast Out system. In place of a sixth soul, Megaman receives power from the Cyber Beast. Beast Out Element - Null Chip Bonus - Null Chips receive a +50 bonus. Charging a Null Chip turns Megaman's attack into a claw attack that hits with the range of a WideSword, then the range of a LongSword. Stored Attack - Megaman's Stored Attack is replaced by a Machine Gun. Aquired - After watching CircusMan absorb the other Cyber Beast. Extra Abilites - Megaman automatically targets the best enemy to attack with the current hip. When the chip is used, Megaman dashes into range before attacking. Greiga Abilities: Super Armor Faltzer Abilities: Air Shoes, Float Shoes Activated - Selecting the Beast Symbol under the OK button on the custom menu. Duration - 3 turns. Beast Over Element - Null Chip Bonus - Null Chips receive a +50 bonus. Stored Attack - Megaman's Stored Attack is replaced by a Machine Gun. Aquired - After watching CircusMan absorb the other Cyber Beast. Extra Abilites - Megaman is completely invulnerable to damage and fires his Machine Gun towards the enemy. When the turn is over, the custom menu automatically opens. After the first turn, Megaman's HP continues to drop until it reaches 0 and he becomes Anxious. Activated - Selecting the Beast Symbol under the OK button on the custom menu after Beast Out has already worn off in the current battle. Duration - 1 turn. Beast Cross Element - Null Chip Bonus - Null Chips receive a +50 bonus. Charging a Null Chip turns Megaman's attack into a different attack for each Cross form. They will be listed under each Cross form. Stored Attack - Megaman's Stored Attack is replaced by a Machine Gun. Aquired - After watching CircusMan absorb the other Cyber Beast. Extra Abilites - Megaman gains the powers of the Cross AND of Beast Out. Activated - While in Cross form, select the Beast Symbol. Or, while in Beast Out, perfrom a Cross fusion. Duration - 3 turns. ======================= Cross [CROSS] ======================= In this game, the Soul Unison System has been replaced with the Cross System. It's very different and, in my opinion, much better than the old Soul Unison System. Below are the Pros and Cons for Cross Unison. Pros - Cross Unison does NOT require sacrificing a chip. - Cross Unison lasts for the entire battle. Cons - Megaman cannot obtain Full Synchro while in Cross Unison. - Getting hit by an element Megaman is weaker than knocks him out of it. - Cross Unison lasts for the entire battle. You might have notice the second one is listed under Pros and Cons. Here is why I think it goes under both: Used at the right time and in the right place, Megaman will become more powerful just like he did with souls and the battle will be much easier. Used in the wrong way, Megaman will be stuck in a form that will make it very hard to win with. ======================= Cross Souls [SOULS] ======================= [GREGA] HeatCross Element - Fire Weakness - Water Chip Bonus - Fire Chips receive a +50 bonus. Stored Attack - Megaman's Stored Attack becomes a 90 damage Flamethrower that hits up to three panels ahead. Attack Boost - Megaman's Sotred Attack increases by 20 damage for each additional point on attack. (1 = 70, 2 = 90, 3 = 110, 4 = 130, 5 = 150) Version - Greiga Aquired - After defeating DiveMan and defeating Heatman. Location - In the office at school with the pinkish door. Extra Abilites - N/A BeastCross Attack - Megaman fires his heat breath that does 110 damage. Damage increases by 30 for each additional point on attack. Swords can be charged to shoot a wave that has the same vertical range as the sword chip. Stored Attack - Megaman's Stored Attack becomes a 100 damage Slash that hits three panels wide and up to two panels ahead. (Size of a LifeSword) Attack Boost - Megaman's Sotred Attack increases by 20 damage for each additional point on attack. (1 = 80, 2 = 100, 3 = 120, 4 = 140, 5 = 160) Version - Greiga Aquired - After Diveman's operator is declared guilty. Location - In the forest town, at the second path leading to the upper right. Extra Abilites - N/A BeastCross Attack - Megaman leaps at the enemy and uses a cross-slash doing 80 damage. Damage increases by 30 for each additional point on attack. (1 = 80, 2 = 110, 3 = 140, 4 = 170, 5 = 200) ElecCross Element - Elec Weakness - Wood Chip Bonus - Electric Chips receive a +50 bonus. Stored Attack - Megaman's Stored Attack becomes a 60 damage Lightning Bolt that hits all enemies ahead of Megaman in the same row. Attack Boost - Megaman's Sotred Attack increases by 20 damage for each additional point on attack. (1 = 60, 2 = 80, 3 = 100, 4 = 120, 5 = 140) Version - Greiga Aquired - After examining the weather system and defeating Elecman. Location - In Sky town, at the bottom. Extra Abilites - Hitting an opponent with a Null Element chip will 1-Hit KO them if the second digit in their HP is 4. (Examples: 40, 643, 246) BeastCross Attack - Megaman throws a ball that does 100 damage at an opponent that continues to lower the opponent's hp throughout the battle. Damage increases by 30 for each additional point on attack. (1 = 100, 2 = 130, 3 = 160, 4 = 190, 5 = 220) ChargeCross Element - Fire Weakness - Water Chip Bonus - Fire Chips can be charged to increase damage by up to 100. Stored Attack - Megaman's Stored Attack becomes a 50 damage Tackle that reaches up to three panels ahead. Stopped by Holes. Attack Boost - Megaman's Sotred Attack increases by 20 damage for each additional point on attack that pierces. (1 = 50, 2 = 70, 3 = 90, 4 = 110, 5 = 130) Version - Greiga Aquired - After defeating Colonel and defeating Chargeman. Location - In the town with the aquarium, in the second room of the aquarium. Extra Abilites - Each time you open the custom menu, the amount of selectable chips increases by one. Max of 8 chips. BeastCross Attack - Megaman shoots an energy Greiga head straight forward dealing 100 damage and stops enemies in the same row from moving. Damage increases by 20 for each additional point on attack. Piercing Chips can be charged to drop rocks onto random enemy panels that do 50 damage. Stored Attack - Megaman's Stored Attack becomes a 20 damage drill that has the range of a LongSword and hits 3 times. Before using it, Megaman hides underground. He then moves to the end of your area, or in range to hit the closest enemy in the same row. The enemy will then be blown towards the back row. Attack Boost - Megaman's Sotred Attack increases by 10 damage for each additional point on attack. (1 = 20, 2 = 30, 3 = 40, 4 = 50, 5 = 60) Version - Faltzer Aquired - After defeating Colonel and defeating Groundman. Location - In the office at school with the greenish door. Extra Abilites - SuperArmor BeastCross Attack - Megaman dashes through the enemies dealing 220 damage. While dashing, Megaman is invincible. Damage increases by 40 for each additional point on attack. Damage is cut in half for each object Megaman passes through. Attack Boost - Megaman's Sotred Attack increases by 20 damage for each additional point on attack. (1 = 60, 2 = 80, 3 = 100, 4 = 120, 5 = 140) Version - Faltzer Aquired - After defeating Colonel and defeating Chargeman. Location - In the town with the aquarium, in the second room of the aquarium. Extra Abilites - DustShoot: You can select up to five chips to return them to your folder and replace with new ones. Pressing B+Backwards absorbs all objects on the field. After absorbing an object, pressing B+Forwards will blast it forward doing 200 damage. BeastCross Attack - Megaman rises into the air and fires junk onto panels infront of him that does 100 damage. Damage increases by 20 for each additional point on attack.
