The purpose of this guide is to have a quick, easy reference as to where you can find an item. Most of the time, you have to go from town to town, looking in every PokeMart just to find a single item. Well this FAQ will make all that a lot easier. Just hold the "Ctrl" button on your keyboard and tap the 'F' key. That will bring up the Find window (if you're using Windows). Simply type in the box the item you want, and click on Find. It'll scroll down this FAQ and find the first place you can get the item you're looking for. =============================================================================== +---------------------------------+ | Section V. - PokeMart Locations | +---------------------------------+ Within the Pokemon Crystal game there are two continents. Each continent has several cities or towns on it, and in each city/town, there is a building with the name "MART" on it. These buildings sell you items such as Potions to heal your Pokemon, or PokeBalls to catch new Pokemon. Below are the cities and towns and the location of each PokeMart within that city/town. Just FLY to them so you'll end up at the Pokemon Center, where I'll be directing you from. +++++++++ Johto +++++++++ City Name Location --------- -------- New Bark Town - No PokeMarts. Cherrygrove City - To the left of the Pokemon Center. Violet City - To the left of the gym with is on the trail heading left of the Pokemon Center Azalea Town - Northeast of the Pokemon Center. Goldenrod City - On the right side of the city around the middle. It's a HUGE five floor building. Ecruteak City - To the right of the Pokemon Center is a house you can't get in. Above this house is the PokeMart. Olivine City - Just northeast of the Pokemon Center. Cianwood City - It's not exactly a PokeMart, but it is a house with a guy who sells you things PokeMarts do. To the left of the Pokemon Center is a small house. Below it is another one with on a sign on the right. This is the "Poke- Mart" for this city. Mahogany Town - Right above the Pokemon Center is a house with a girl standing outside it and a sign on the left side. After Team Rocket is beaten, this is the PokeMart for this city. Blackthorn City - Directly to the left of the Pokemon Center. +++++++++ Kanto +++++++++ City Name Location --------- -------- Pallet Town - No PokeMarts. Viridian City - Northeast of the Pokemon Center. Pewter City - To the left of the Pokemon Center is a garden. Above it is the PokeMart. Cerulean City - To the right of the Pokemon Center is the gym. Right below it is the PokeMart. Vermilion City - Ok. To the right of the Pokemon Center is a house you cannot enter. To the right of that is another just like it. Just below that, about 5 steps, is the PokeMart. Lavender Town - Directly next to the Pokemon Center. If you can't find it, you need to be shot. Celadon City - To the left of the Pokemon Center are two houses you can't enter and to the left of that is a BIG house, Celadon Mansion. To the left of that is a tall building you can't enter, and to the left of that is a HUGE five floor PokeMart. Saffron City - From the Pokemon Center, head right until the road turns up. Go up and take the second left that you can. At the very end is a fat boy standing outside the PokeMart. Fuchsia City - Directly above the Pokemon Center is a tree you can CUT. CUT it down and walk forward a few steps. To the left you'll see a sidewalk leading to the left. Follow it and you'll run right into the PokeMart. Cinnabar Island - Cinnabar was destroyed when the volcano erupted. There is no PokeMart. Indigo Plateau - As you enter, straight ahead is a computer. To the left is a man behind a counter. That's the PokeMart. =============================================================================== +------------------------------------------+ | Section VI. - PokeMart Item Descriptions | +------------------------------------------+ Below are all the items available at the PokeMarts placed throughout this game, and a brief description of what each item does. They are as follows: 1. GameFAQs for posting (hopefully) this guide on their site. 2. Whoever it was that calculated that the item "Charcoal" increases the Fire Attacks by exactly 1.2 (I saw it a long time ago somewhere on the board). 3. The GameFAQs user "Stupid fool" who comfirmed to me that there are no extra buy-able items from any PokeMart in Crystal Version. 4. Nintendo and GameFreak for making such a great game. =============================================================================== This Guide has been brought to you by: TTTTTTT HH HH EEEEEEE T H H E T HHHHH EEEE T H H E TTT HH HH EEEEEEE SSSSSS TTTTTTT EEEEEEE EEEEEEE LLL SS T E E L SSSSSS T EEEE EEEE L SS T E E L L SSSSSSS TTT EEEEEEE EEEEEEE LLLLLLL PPPPPP HH HH A N N TTTTTTT OOOOOOO MMMMMMM P PP H H A A N N N T O O M M M PPPPPP HHHHH AAAAA N N N T O O M M M P H H A A N N N T O O M M M P HH HH AA AA N N TTT OOOOOOO MM M MM
