A lot of people actually get interested in reading the ending, even if they have beaten the game before. So far the only people interested in doing ending faqs are the ones that make the Neo Geo fighting games faqs and the ones that do the Capcom fighting games faqs, other than those...... I, for one, am a fan of game endings. After this door, is a long vertical corridor. As you reach the top, there is an elevator to the surface. At the surface you get the message "Great!! You fulfiled your mission. It will revive pece in space. But, it may be invaded by the other Metroid. Pray for a true peace in space!" Then Samus will reveal her true self by removing her suit and staying in a one piece bathing suit. The credits will roll and at the very end it will say "The End". If you beat Mother Brain without wearing the suit, after you get to the surface, Samus will then change from the one piece bathing suit to a two piece bikini, after that the credits will roll as usual. The endings from the Metroid Database: If you beat the game under 3 hours Samus armor disappears, revealing the hunter to be a woman. She's wearing a purple leotard and has brown hair. If you beat the game between 3 and 5 hours Samus helmet disappears, still revealing her secret identity by showing her with long brown hair, though still wearing her armor. If you beat the game in over 5 hours Samus raises her fist in victory, but the armor stays put. If you beat the game in over 5 hours with armorless Samus, she flashes and turns her back toward you and her arm thrown over her face in shame. If you beat the game under 3 hours with armorless Samus she is already without her armor; she flashes, and when she's done she is wearing only a purple bikini. 4)You can see the last boss and ending images at: http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/nes/b/met.htm 5)Ending rating: *** 3/10 Stars || || || =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= Famicom Disk System -= -= Famicom Disk System -= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============================================================================ **Not Released** [ Usa - Famicom Disk System ] Metroid [ Japan - Famicom Disk System ] **Not Released** [ Europe - Famicom Disk System ] -------------------------------------------------------- 1)Number of endings: 5 2)How to get them: Beat Mother Brain in under 3 hours. Escape Immediately!" will appear, go through the door and you will have to go through a number of vertical and horizontal corridors while facing Space Pirates along the way. Near the surface you will have the option of rescuing the animals you found during the adventure. After that, go to the surface and board the ship. You will then see the Zebes exploding and the ship flying out of the planet in the nick of time. If you rescued the animals you will see a small dot escaping the planet's explosion just as Samus escapes with her ship. It will then say "The operation was completed successfully", it shows you the time it took you to clear the game. The credits will roll and after a while you will see Samus glowing in her suit. If you managed to complete the game in OVER 10 hours, Samus will just stand there, she gives you a thumbs up, jumps back and shoots at the screen, the Metroid logo appears on screen and you get the message "See you next mission, your rate for collecting items is". The percent you get depends on how many items you found. If you managed to complete the game between 3 and 10 hours, Samus will take off her helmet, she gives you a thumbs up, jumps back and shoots at the screen, the Metroid logo appears on screen and you get the message "See you next mission, your rate for collecting items is". The percent you get depends on how many items you found. If you managed to complete the game in UNDER 3 hours, Samus will take off her suit and she will be in a black bikini, she lets her hair lose, jumps back and shoots at the screen while wearing her armor again, the Metroid logo appears on screen and you get the message "See you next mission, your rate for collecting items is". She stares at the wrecked chamber for a moment, and the scene cuts as she's about to remove her helmet. End credit roll. Samus' Gunship flies away from Tallon. Congratulatory screen showing Samus with a victory pose and percentage. 75%-99% - Samus leaves the exploding Impact Crater, calls her ship in, and hops on top of it before the whole Artifact Chamber blows. She removes her helmet and stares at the wrecked chamber for a moment, then departs. End credit roll. Samus' Gunship flies away from Tallon. Congratulatory screen showing Samus without a helmet in victory pose and percentage. Cut to a scene of a undulating blob of Phazon. A black and red metal hand bursts from the Phazon. An alien eye looks around from the back of the hand..." The ending from DantheMann: "I believe this to be the second or third ending, but have no evidence... Anyway, here it is: You fight Metroid Prime in two stages and then she steals your current suit (Phazon Suit) and dies in the most horrible fashion, she shakes around very fast and then begins to self-destruct. The screen turns black and says: "Self-Destruction Iminate, Evacuate Imediatly" Then it showes the Chozo Artifact Center blowing up and you jump onto your ship, facing away from the screen, and take your helmet off. Then Samus flies away and the Chozo Ruins have blown up. Then the credits role proceeded by your status for the game. This ending was brought to life with 21:27 hours and 74% Scans Completed." The ending from Daniel Haas: "ENDING #1: (0%-74%) The metroid prime will go completely INSANE, screaming and flipping all over. It will transform into a huge blue blob with a red center, no face, and tentacles all over its body(if you wanna call it a body). One of its tentacles comes out and latches onto samus's stomach and begins pulling her in. She struggles for a moment and the Prime manages to pull of her Phazon suit. The prime blob goes insane, again, growing huge and demolishing the chamber, as samus runs for her life. A black screen appears, telling you the artifact chamber is about to collapse, and you should probably think about getting your ass outa there. Samus is teleported out, she presses a couple buttons on her arm cannon, and runs for the edge of the platform. Her ship flies over and catches her as she's jumping. She stands atop her ship for a couple seconds, watching the artifact chamber burn and crumble. She rockets away in her ship. ENDING #2 (75%-99%) Everything is the same as above, only as she stands there watching the articact chamber burn, she decides to remove her helmet. You get to see her head for a while, before she rockets away. ENDING #3 (100%) All the same, helmet romoval and all. the only change is that after the credits roll, you see a cave with a blob a phazon at the bottom. A black and red colored arm reaches out of the phazon, still dripping with the stuff. On the back of its hand, a small eye-like thing looks around at the cave for a while. END." -Metroid- After defeating Mother brain, The wall behind her desintegrates and a door will appear, you will get the message "Time bomb set, get out fast!". After this door, is a long vertical corridor. As you reach the top, there is an elevator to the surface. At the surface you get the message "Great!! You fulfiled your mission. Beat Dark Samus with an Item Percentage collection between 75% & 99%. Beat Dark Samus with an item percentage collection of 100%. 3)The ending from Eric Otness: Dark Samus' 4th form gets hit by the Phazon Beam and a big Phazon explosion hits her, Samus has her arm cannon pointed at her collapsed form when suddenly, she gets back up on her knees and crawls toward Samus and clawing at her, Dark Samus starts to ignite into bluish Phazon-flames, and, judging by the look at Samus' eyes through her visor, she seems horrified. Then Dark Samus, still on fire, reaches out her hand to try to absorb Samus' Light Suit, but before she can even breathe on it, Dark Samus dissolves (or disperses) into a billion Phazon molecules. Then Samus's about to go to the blocked off exit when an earthquake occurs and two Warrior Ing block her way so she turns around and then she's surrounded by 4 Warrior Ing, while more Ing are on the way. Then the huge column of Phazon makes a volatile explosion revealing a Dimensional Transporter Gate and then the remainder of the Ing Horde surround her lunging at her, suddenly Samus jumps resulting with the Ing colliding into each other. Then, with the background music in a revamped version of the Ing Battles, Samus then runs activating the Scan Visor in the third person view with an Ing running next to her to try and stop her, and the gate opens she jumps up the steps, she looks back and the Ing hot-tail her, meanwhile at Light Aethers' Hall of the Honored Dead, Samus bounces out of the portal in Morph Ball Mode and she unrolls herself high in the air and landing in the area where she got the Seeker Missiles and then she quickly turns around and sees several Ing legs fighting to get out of the portal, screaming the daylights out and then there's the sound of an explosion and the screen turns white then black, and then it cuts to the stellar view of Aether just like what happened in the middle of the beginning scene of the game except the planet slowly stops fluctuating and turns green, then it cuts to several Luminoth watching the Energy Controller with the sky flashing and then it turns bright and Samus is kneeling, back in her Varia Suit with the Energy Controller closing behind her, she stands up, a Luminoth looks and his eyes get big and then does a butler-esque bow, and the other Luminoth do the same as Samus goes toward the door you get a close-up of her back and holding her hand in the air like she's waving good-bye. Then you see her ship take off and fly away and enters hyperspace the credits come up and you get a mission final screen with Samus' image sort of like the game over screen only without the magnification of her heart when you get 0-74%. 75-99% it's the same as above, except after she goes through the doorway but before launching her gunship she approaches her ship and gets covered in a shaft of light and she's in her emergency reserve flight suit first shown in Metroid Zero Mission in 3D view, she turns around to the side and her head faces the screen. 100% it's the same as above except after the credits and congratulatory screen it shows the Planet Aether and the camera pans to the southwestern part of Aether with several Phazon molecules and then they come to each other to form a bright whitish-blue human shape. The ending from nazguldragon15: 0% - 74% = After Dark Samus' defeat, it will fall out of the air and onto the ground. It will slowly go up to Samus and reach for her Suit, then Dark Samus will vaporize. Suddenly, an earthquake will begin and Samus will try to escape to the door, but a wall of phazon will cover it. Several Ing will jump out and start after Samus. Dark Aether begins to collapse, an Samus runs for the light Portal while scanning it. She will fly through the portal in her Morph Ball and emerge into the Light World. From Light Aether's point of view, the Ing will all try to come through the portal, kicking and cramming, then the portal will close. The screen goes to a view of the Planet Aether, and the Darkness will disappear, becoming average Aether. Samus returns her Light Suit and the Luminoth bid her farewell. She then goes into her ship, and flies off the planet. 75% - 99% = Everything is the same as the 0% - 74% ending except before entering her ship, Samus will take off her entire suit. She is wearing her infamous blue flight suit, and looks rather cartoony. 100% = Everything is the same as the endings before it except (this happens after the credits) Dark Samus will reform in space. 4)You can see the last boss and ending images at: None yet. 5)Ending rating: None yet. || || || =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= Nintendo Revolution -= -= Nintendo Revolution -= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============================================================================ Metroid Prime 3 [ Usa - Nintendo Revolution ] Metroid Prime 3 [ Japan - Nintendo Revolution ] Metroid Prime 3 [ Europe - Nintendo Revolution ] -------------------------------------------------------- 1)Number of endings: ? 2)How to get it: ? 3)The ending from ?: 4)You can see the last boss and ending images at: None yet. 5)Ending rating: ? || || || =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= Game Boy -= -= Game Boy -= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============================================================================ Metroid II Return of Samus [ Usa - Game Boy ] Metroid II Return of Samus [ Japan - Game Boy ] Metroid II Return of Samus [ Europe - Game Boy ] -------------------------------------------------------- 1)Number of endings: 3 2)How to get them: Beat Queen Metroid in under 3 hours. It then shows Samus on her ship and she starts to say: "That perfect military mind... The wisdom of Adam Malkovich continued to serve even after death. Until today, I had no idea that the minds of leaders and scientists were frequently uploaded to computers. My incredible reunion with Adam may have saved the universe... But how will the beings of the universe view our resolve? I doubt they will understand what we did... The danger we barely averted. They will hold tribunals and investigations. They will hold us responsible. Adam understood this, and he spoke to me in my anger. 'Don't worry. One of them will understand. One of them must.' I've reflected upon his words, and I see the wisdom in them. We are all bound by our experiences. They are the limits of our conciousness. But in the end, the human sould will ever reach for the truth... This is what Adam tought me. Just one detail still bothers me. This ship can only be started manually. Yet, before I faced the Omega Metroid, the ship moved on it's own, guided by someone hands. Is it possible? Adam...?" Adam replies: "Lady, what's troubling you? You wonder how I started the ship? Just think about it. They lent me a hand..." It will then show a pic of the animals you rescued, they are asleep. Credits will roll and after the credits it will show Samus on her armor, she will start to shine and if you beat the game in UNDER 2 hours it will show Samus posing in a tank top and a tight short and it will show the time you took and the percentage of the items collected. If you beat the game between 2 and 4 hours it will show Samus posing with her suit on but without the helmet. If you beat the game in OVER 4 hours it will show Samus posing with her suit on only. If you beat the game in UNDER 2 hours but with 100% rate, it will show Samus posing with the same half naked clothes but in a different pose and a transparent picture of her is shown in the background. If you beat the game in OVER 2 hours but with 100% rate it will show Samus half naked again but in yet another different pose. -Japanese Version- The ending from Eric Otness: Only thing different about the Japanese ending are the extra images shown after the credits. Beat the Omega Metroid on easy mode: Samus is basically still shut in her Fusion Suit. Beat the Omega Metroid on normal mode in over 4 hours: it shows Samus shut in her fusion suit with the image recollections of the Space Pirates destroying K-2L and Mrs. Aran holding onto a crying baby Samus Aran with Ridley roaring in the background. Adventure: Samus will be charging through the air with rock in the background with the letters CODE RED in red at the bottom.
