Introduction =============================================================================== Lemmings is an entertaining puzzle game by Psygnosis. The aim in each level is to guide a number of lemmings from the entrance to the exit. Each level has a variety of traps and tall drops that could kill the lemmings, so it is up to the player to give different skills to the lemmings to prevent this. What starts out as a very simple game soon gets incredibly complicated, and despite the large number of levels the game never seems boring or unvaried. The two Holiday Lemmings games were made due to the popularity of the original games. The 1993 edition features 32 new levels. =============================================================================== 2. FLURRY 2 -------- Change every lemming into a floater before they reach the edge of the start platform. If you miss a lemming, it is still possible to change him into a floater while he is falling from the platform. FLURRY 3 -------- Bash through the snowman and mine down through the snow wall. FLURRY 4 -------- Bash through the snowball and the rock. FLURRY 5 -------- Change the first two lemmings into diggers before the top of the exit. After they dig about half-way through the platform, change both lemmings into miners to make a tunnel to the exit. FLURRY 6 -------- Bash through the first pillar and build a long bridge up to the top metal blocks. Bash through the second pillar. FLURRY 7 -------- Bash through the bottom of the various slopes. After the lemmings climb over the big slope, bash through the bottom of the thin slopes. FLURRY 8 -------- Change the first lemming into a climber. After he drops from the top of the first slope, bash through the gem. Change him into a builder at the top of the second slope. After he builds all the way to the next set of gems, drop off the bridge and then build another bridge onto the exit platform. Have the other lemmings build out of the gap. FLURRY 9 -------- Change the first lemming into a blocker on the left snowball. Have the other lemmings bash through the snowballs and build a bridge from the left metal block. Some of the lemmings will drop into the gap, so build a small bridge left to exit it. Explode the blocker. FLURRY 10 --------- Put a blocker below either side of the entrance, leaving one lemming to walk left. Have the lemming mine down near the top of the first slope and build a long bridge from the left side of the path up to the top of the metal blocks. Have him build a bridge up to the exit platform. Explode the left blocker. FLURRY 11 --------- Change the first lemming into a digger. After he digs about half of the way through the platform, mine down to the right to land on the snow. Mine down through the thin section of snow to land on the path leading to the exit. FLURRY 12 --------- Have the first lemming out of the right entrance touch the snow wall and face left. Build a bridge over the small gap and then quickly move over to the left lemmings. Build a bridge over the gap on their side. Staying with the left lemmings, bash the snowball and build a bridge to the exit. Moving back to the right lemmings, bash through the snow wall and the snowballs to reach the exit. FLURRY 13 --------- Change the first lemming into a climber. After he climbs up to the platform near the exit, have him build a bridge over the metal block gap to land on the exit platform. Have the other lemmings build a bridge up to the first platform. FLURRY 14 --------- After dropping down from the first wall, change the second lemming into a blocker and let the first lemming continue right. Have the first lemming build a bridge over the first gap and bash through the head. Drop down to the platform on the other side of the head and bash through the pillar to the exit. Explode the blocker. FLURRY 15 --------- After the lemmings drop off the edge of the platform, they will fall into a gap. Have every lemming build a bridge in the gap so that they face left and walk to the exit. FLURRY 16 --------- Change three lemmings into exploders on the platform so that they all explode in the same place. After the other lemmings drop down the gap, change two lemmings into blockers and leave one lemming to walk right. Have the one lemming bash through the wall and build bridges over the gaps to the exit. Explode the right blocker. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.2. After he reaches the second pillar, make him build a bridge into the pillar so that he faces left. Build a bridge up to the right side of the first pillar so that he faces right. Repeat this method to build bridges up to the second, third, fourth and fifth pillars. Dig down through the slope after the fifth pillar and then bash through the thin wall to reach the exit. Change all of the other lemmings into climbers. BLITZ 2 ------- Change the first lemming into a digger below the entrance and the second lemming into a builder at the right side of the gap. Quickly change the digger lemming into a builder so that he stays in the gap. BLITZ 3 ------- After the second lemming leaves the entrance, change the release rate to 99. Have the first lemming dig down above the seventh exit. BLITZ 4 ------- Change the first lemming into a digger at the top of the slope. Change the second lemming into a climber and a floater. After the second lemming floats onto the ledge on the pillar, dig down to the same level as the bottom platform and build a bridge right to the metal block. Have the first lemming that lands on the bottom platform bash through the pillar to the bridge on the other side. BLITZ 5 ------- Change the first lemming into a climber and build a bridge from the metal block to the snow wall. Bash through the snow wall and build a bridge over the gap. Build another bridge up from the snow to the exit platform. Have the other lemmings build a bridge to the metal block. BLITZ 6 ------- Change the second lemming into a builder on the metal blocks. After the first lemming walks into the wall at the right side of the level and faces left, bash through the snow to the exit. BLITZ 7 ------- Change the first lemming into a builder on top of the first slope. Have him build a bridge all the way up to the platform below the exit. Have the other lemmings build bridges on the slopes below the long bridge to prevent the lemmings from falling too far. At the top of the long bridge, explode a lemming at the top of the bridge and then build more of the bridge. Continue doing this to reach the exit. BLITZ 8 ------- Have the first lemming out of the right entrance touch the snow wall and face left. Build a bridge over the small gap and then quickly move over to the left lemmings. Build a bridge over the small gap on their side. Staying with the left lemmings, bash the snowman and build a bridge over the gap to the exit. BLITZ 9 ------- Change the second lemming into a blocker at the bottom of the snow wall, leaving the first lemming to walk right. Change the first lemming into a floater and build over the first gap. After he drops down to the slope below, have him build over the gap. Before he drops off the top of the slope, build a bridge into the slope so that he faces left and then build a bridge left to the top of the previous slope. Repeat this method on the other slopes. Mine down through the final slope to land on the exit platform. Explode the blocker. BLITZ 10 -------- Have the right entrance lemming bash into the rock at the right side of the path. Before he gets through to the other side of the rock, build a bridge so that he turns around. Change the second lemming out of the right entrance into a digger. Have the first lemming at the top of each slope build a bridge toward the exit platform. BLITZ 11 -------- Change the first lemming into a digger at the highest part of the start platform so that the second lemming continues right. Change the first lemming into a miner so that he stops on the metal block. Have the second lemming build one bridge only from the snow to the metal block, and then from one metal block to the other. When the lemming reaches the fourth metal block, there should still be four bridges left. Build a long bridge up to the exit platform. Have the other lemmings bash right to arrive at the start of the first bridge. BLITZ 12 -------- Change the first lemming into a digger. After landing on the middle platform, have two lemmings explode in the same place. BLITZ 13 -------- Change the first lemming into a builder. Put a blocker below either side of the entrance. Have the first lemming dig down at the right side of the platform and build a bridge over to the next platform on the right. Build a bridge from the middle of the platform up to the metal blocks. Have the lemming drop through the gap and build a bridge to the exit platform. Explode the right blocker. BLITZ 14 -------- Mine down from the bottom-left corner to find the exit. BLITZ 15 -------- Change eleven lemmings into floaters. Change one of the lemmings into a climber as he walks right. When he starts climbing up to the top of the pillar, change him into an exploder. Have another lemming climb up the pillar and wait until he climbs into the hole. When he does, have him build a bridge up to the slope on the left. Wait until he turns around and then build up to the path on the right. Bash through the snowman and explode the lemming as he reaches the pillar to make a gap in it. Change all of the other lemmings into climbers. BLITZ 16 -------- Explode the first lemming at the right side of the platform. Have the next lemming drop into the gap and mine down to the right so that the other lemmings can safely on the path below. Have one lemming build a bridge up to the slope at the left side of the path. Have the other lemming bash through the wall on the right. The rest of the lemmings should start walking along the path toward the exit. Explode the first lemming just after the left side of the first metal block. He should fall down and explode just before landing on the small rock. The rest of the lemmings drop down the gap and walk to the exit. =============================================================================== 3.
