Introduction ########################### Yes this game maybe four years old from the date that I decided to write this guide, but that is simply because not all of the guides that can be under the character FAQ section are not there. So that is why I wrote what you see here. Even though I may be doing this to fill up places I'm still trying my best to give you a quallity guide. Please keep in mind that this is my second FAQ ever. Also please not that EVERYTHING IN THIS FAQ IS A SPOILER because Android 19 is a secret character. Anything that you find out about Android 19 I am not responsible for. If you find anything in this FAQ that is not correct please contact me at greenkpk@yahoo.com. If I find out that you are indeed correct I will change it and give you proper acknowledgment. ############################# B. Version History ############################## July 22, 2005 (1.00) This is my first installment of the guide on GameFAQ's and probably will be my last for this guide unless someone finds something that must be corrected. July 24, 2005 (1.01) I added info on where this FAQ is allowed. ############################# D. Who is Android #19? ############################# Android #19 is on of the to two Androids we first see in the Android Saga. Android #19 is not Dr. Gero's most powerful creation but did prove to be quite strong. Like Dr. Gero, Android 19 has the ability to abosorb energy. We fist see him do this in his battle with Goku. Thanks to Goku's heart condition, Android 19 was able to take down Goku fairly easily and steal a lot of energy. Android 19 then engaged in battle with Vegeta. Android 19 was easily defeated by Vegeta, who recently at the time became a Super Saiyan. We later see Android 19 in DBGT when Android 17 makes a portal form hell and Earth. But this time android 19 is easily disposed of and sent back to hell. ############################### E. Misc. Android #19 Game Info ############################### Android #19 is unlocked by completeing Android Saga episode #2 Super Saiyan Vegeta Android #19 can be fought in Android Saga Episodes #1 A New Threat #2 Super Saiyan Vegeta Android #19 Outfit 1 This is Android 19's outfit that he wears everytime we see him. Android #19 Outfit 2 This is simply a change of color, Android 19 becomes mostly blue. ################################ F. Combos ################################ P=Square K=Triangle E=O G=X >=Forward <=Backward N= Nocks opponet away U= Nocks opponet in the air for a couple seconds leaving room for a possible second attack. Example: Combo (Damage Delt) 1. Punches ------------------------------------------------- P (70) PP (135) PPP (203) PPPP (258) P>P (144) P>PP (212) U >P (70) >PP (135) >PPP (203) >PPPP (283) >PPPPP (394) N

P (155) U 2. Kicks -------------------------------------------------- K (80) KK (154) KKK (222) KKKK (324) N KK>K (231) KK>KK (306) KKK (163) N KK (90) >KK (164) >KKK (232) >KKKK (303) >KKKKK (371) N K (175) N 3. Punches + KickS ---------------------------------------------------- PK (153) N PPK (212) PPKK (287) PPKKK (422) PPK>K (347) PPPK (278) >PK (158) >PKK (235) N >PPPK (338) U >PPPKK (422) N P>PPK (283) N K (205) N >KP (164) >KPP (232) >KPPP (317) U PPE (341) (581) >KPPPE (467) (707) You should really have this move on Android 19. This is an easy move to pull of with a really good damage count. If you double stack you should be able to take out more then 50% of you opponets life bar. - For the following moves the combos were factored in - Life Drain (705) (825) This is an extreamly good move to have. This is also one of the best moves in the entire game. Not only does this move give a large amount of damage but as a result you gain life back from this move. If double stack then pair this move with potential you, it is possible to take out more than an entire life bar. - Power Break (522) (738) This is a good move if your into maximizing your damage. This move has the highest non-stacked damge that Android 19 has (excluding Life Drain). But if your not worried about the little bit of extra damage it will give you then you should probable skip it. - Rolling Crush (250) (500) You should also have this move equiped. Sometimes your opponet is blocking to much or can predict what move you might want to try next. This move can throw your opponet of guard. Its not an easy move to predict. It doesn't do much damage but it can save you in a lot of tight areas. It doesn't need to be double stacked, but doing so adds a nice touch. - Cybernetic Pain (509) (936) Definatly go for this move. It is not a must have but I would recommend putting this move on before putting on Power Break. This moves is easy to pull off and it does more damage than Photon Shot. In addition when the move is over it nocks your opponet away giving you enough time to recover from your short break. 2. Exclusive System Capsules -------------------------------------------------- Example: Capsule Name (Effect)(# of Slots) Comments - The following Capsules are exclusive to Androids 16,17,18 and 19 - Special Coating (raises the defense of Android 17 by 10%) (1 slot) Its a good capsule to put on if you have freespace or if you want an extra edge against your opponet. - Improved Special Coating (raises the defense of Android 17 by 20%) (2 slots) I like this capsule better than Special coating because you can actually see the difference in you defense. 2 slots is not that bad a price to pay. - Nanomachine (raises the defense of Android 17 by 30%) (3 slots) If you want a high defense but what to have room for other capsules this is probably your best choice. That is, if you only need four capsule slots left when your done. - Improved Nanomachine (raises the defense of Android 17 by 40%) (4 slots) If your massivly afraid your ultimate demise put this with a Senzu Bean and you'll be all set. You could also put this on if your not going to make use of the death-moves. - Androids Barrier (Nulify all opponets Ki Blast Wave) (1 slot) This capsule is pretty worthless. In order for your opponet to kill with just ki blast waves you would literally need to be shot 30 times. And that is not includeing if you have any defense power ups. Most of the time you get 3 ki blasts shot at you anyway. 3. Normal System Capsules ---------------------------------------------------------------- The following Capsules are available to everyone in the game. - 1/3 Senzu Bean (Regain one life bar after KO) (1 slot) I have the capsule equiped to all of my characters. Its mostly a back up for those tuffer battles. - Senzu Bean (Recover Life Completly after KO) (3 slots) This is one of those capsules that can be really good or really bad. The good part of this capsule is you can last twice as long. The bad part is your battle can last twice as long from the lack of specials moves to use. - Gero's Energy R & D (Ki increase with ki blast deflection) (1 slot) Don't use this, there will never be enough ki blasts to fill your ki hungery needs. Unless your friend is trying to button mash the circle button. - Gero's Deflection R & D (Deflects ki blasts when gaurding) (1 slot) This is about as usefull Gero's Energy R&D. This is only relitivly good if you pair it with Energy R&D and then face your circle button mashing friend. - Gero's Deflect-Back R & D (Deflects back ki blasts when gaurding) (1 slot) This is probably a better choice the Deflection R&D but still I wouldn't recommend using this capsule either. - Viral Heart Disease (Slowly Drains health from both fighters) (1 slot) This can make for an iteresting battle, or if you only have enought time for a couple quick rounds of DBZ. - Vaccine (Cancels the effect of Viral Heart Disease) (1 slot) Vaccine should only be used when paired with Viral Heart Disease. This way your opponets life drops and yours doesn't. This is an easy way to get through tournement mode. Or an easy way to tick of your friends. - Super Holy Water (damage precentage is reduced) (1 slot) This is just another way to protect your self. I would recomend raiseing your defence with other items before using this one. Serious! (strength increase when life drops to 1/3) (1 slot) This works well when combined with 1/3 Senzu Bean. But otherwise by the time you reach 1/3 of your life the match is already about to be ended anyway. - Serious!! (strength increase when life drops to 1/2) (2 slots) This is better than Serious! because when your life is at 1/2 you still have the ability to win. 2 slots might be to much for you by the time you start thinking about equiping this. - Serious!!! (strength increase when life drops to 2/3) (3 slots) This is good if you know your going to lose your first life bar fast. But 3 slots might be to much to ask of you. - Rage! (stength increases for the first 10 seconds of battle) (1 slot) Oh yay I get to hit my opponet with one punch that is a little bit stronger than the rest. You wont notice this. Serious! would be better. - Rage!! (strength increases for the first 15 seconds in battle) (2 slots) 15 senconds could be long enough to may bull of a PPPP but when you hit E you probably run out of time. Don't use this - Rage!!! (strength increases for the first 20 seconds in battle) (3 slots) This would be the most effective of the 3 rages but, 3 slots for only 20 seconds is not worth it. - Potential (strength increases as the battle goes on) (2 slots) This is probably one of my favorite capsules in the game. You start out with nearly nothing for an attack power up and after maybe 30-40 seconds you have an attack power up of 40%. I would definately recomend this over Rage. - Super Kami Water (health decreases and attack increases) (1 slot) This is a really bad capsule to use. You health will most likely drop to fast for you to even be able to use your tremendous power effectivly. The only way I can imagen this be worth something is if you equiped it with Viral Heart Disease and Vaccine. But that would take up 3 slots and there are alot of other capsules far more worthy of those three slots. - Gero's Perpetual Energy R & D (can't transform but ki at max) (3 slots) This is a nice capsule considering you never have to worry about your energy. Since # 19 doesn't transform the only really negative thing about this is that it takes 3 slots. - Breakthough (can use all abilities) (7 slots) And added bonus of this capsule is that all of the abillites work as if they are double stacked. But after equiping this you will have no more slots left for anything else. 4. Set Ups ---------------------------------------------------------- These are by no means all of the setups you can have for #19. These setups listed below will have no effect on the looks of your character. The names I created for the set ups are just for the heck of it. My Android #19 Photon Shot x2 Rolling Crush x2 Life Drain Special Coating 1/3 Senzu Bean I like this setup because All of the moves I have here will take out at least have a life bar. The Special Coating and 1/3 Senzu Bean ad for are very helpful in terms of defense. Power Potential Super Kami Water Serious !!! Rage! I don't particulary like this one because of super kami water. If I were to have an alternitive power setup I would switch Rage! and Super Kami Water for just a Rage!! Defense Improved Nanomachine Super Holy Water Androids Barrier 1/3 Senzu Bean I'm pretty sure that this is the higest defense that you can put on Android 19. Me I would take out the last three capsules and replase them with a Senzu Bean for extreme percautions. Android #19 Photon Shot Life Drain x2 Power Break Viral Heart Disease Vaccine This would be Android #19 in his fight with Goku. This is a nice setup if your plaining to be cheep. Its a nice way to win against the computer but if you do it agianst your friends they will not be very happy. Android #19 Goku Energy Potential Photon Shot x2 Life Drain Power Breakx2 This would be Android #19 after he absorbed Goku's energy. This is a very nice setup. It doesn't contain anything for defense but there is enough high attack power that winning a match should happen fairly quickly. Android #20 Photon Shot x2 Life Drain x2 Gero's Energy R & D Gero's Deflection R & D Special Coating This could have ben called "Android #19" but I already used that. Anyway this setup is not that good. Pairing Energy with Deflection is a good idea. But there will never be enough ki blasts your match to fill up you energy bar. ################################## H.
