I'm also making videos on www.youtube.com I'm Ashe10 there as well. I'm going to have links for my videos and pictures as well so you can see where/how to find spefik equipment, items....etc I have aquired premission from my friends from Youtube let me have links to their videos as well on the guide. Here is my channel : http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=xAshe10x My friends from Youtube.com have inspired me to create a Final Fantasy XII Perfect Game FAQ. I have done some amazing things early-on in the game. For example: I leveled-up Vaan to level 84 at the beginning of the game... with a full License Board. (No need to level up that much early) I will Explain and show everything later. In this FAQ I'm going to teach you how to become very strong at the beginning of your quest and how to aquire some strong weapons and armor as early as possible. One example is getting Maximillian armor (strongest heavy armor in the game) very early --> BEFORE JAHARA. Other equipment pieces of equipment I will show you how to obtain include Defenders, Grand Armors, Yakie Golden Skullcaps......etc. (IF YOU'RE IMPATIENT THIS FAQ IS NOT FOR YOU) sireously a perfect game requires alot of patience. There are some eqiupment that are very hard or takes alot of time to get and isn't worth the time ie: Muramasa Katana earliest. I'll just write a OPTIONAL!! on them so you can avoid getting them if you want. I'm sure you will find this FAQ helpful due to the fact I have linked my videos and my friends videos explaining the how-and-what-to-dos directly into the FAQ: NEAT!!! This FAQ assumes you have beaten, or at least played FFXII enough to know what to do and where to go story-wise. I'm not going to be focusing on that stuff as much. This is because once the other characters join you during the storyline, they come into the party with Vaan's level plus one or two. Balthier & Fran = Vaan's Level +1 Level Basch, Ashe & Penelo = Vaan's Level +2 Levels Soon I'll explain and show a method I used to level-up VERY fast. Using this method, it took me ONLY 61 hours to reach level 84 with Vaan alone. You don't need to reach THAT high of a level I am just insane. Level somewhere to the 50s-60s range. This is a reasonable level and it won't take as long as you might think. If your as insane as I am...or moreso, you can go for Level 99! One important thing is always take note of this gambit for your leader (As soon as gambit option is available that is) Foe: HP=100%---------------> Steal That Foe: HP=100% Gambit can be bought at Rabanastre Gambit Shop before going to the skycity of Bhujerba for the first time. ========================================================================= P3 Power-Leveling ========================================================================= First things first: finish the Rogue Tomato hunt and head back to Rabanastre to get your reward from Tomaj which includes 500 Gil. Go to Dalmasca Estersand and start chaining Wolves until you have some loot to sell. 2000 gil is a fair amount to begin with. Next, buy as many Phoenix Downs as you can from the seeq in front of Nalbina Town. Now we are ready to power-level. *** Please read this section in it's entirety so you understand the method we are going to use *** Go to the Dalmasca Westersand. Now that we are in the Westersand we can chain a rare game monster called Dustia who appears in the Corridor of Sand section. This beast only appears when Vaan has 10% or less of his max HP remaining. It is undead, so one Phoenix Down will kill it instantly. That's why i told you to make some money and buy Phoenix Downs. Defeating Dustia nets you 1104 EXP and 3 LP which is awesome. You have to hit yourself/allow yourself to get hit until you have 10% HP remaining to make Dustia appear in Corridor of Sand. We can chain Dustia by using a Phoenix Down on it, exiting BEFORE the LP and EXP gain shows, and re-entering again to make another Dustia spawn. Very, very fast. As for its loot, Dustia drops Book of Orgain which is worth the money to buy 2 Phoenix Downs. We also have to take the loot before EXP and LP gain shows. Here is the trick to make Dustia appear close-enough where you can easily grab his loot when he drops it and zone-out before the EXP/LP shows: as soon as you enter the Corridor of Sand, get close to the exit line. Doing so makes Dustia appear close to Vaan. When you get HP back from the high-level chain loot, hit yourself again until you are below 10% HP. IMPORTANT!!! You MUST change eqiupment so Vaan doesn't combo and kill himself. Once Vaan strikes himself, go to the party menu and change his equipment, doing so essentially 'resets' the animation and cancels any combo you could have done on yourself at such low HP. Also note that your HP must always be 10% when you enter Corridor of Sand or Dustia never respawns. Lastly, should you allow the EXP/LP gains to show before you zone-out of Corridor of Sand Dustia won't respawn until you exit Dalmasca Westersand and coming back. So be quick! As for Phoenix Downs you can buy them from the merchant in the Dalmasca Westersand - buy them here instead of Rabanastre to keep your chain level in-between trips back to chaining more Dustias. When you take the loot Dustia drops you'll have enough money to buy 99 Phoenix Downs all the time. And much more after a while. I had more than 2 million gil after I reached level 84. CAUTION: You must get Warmage's Monograph As early as possible to make Dustia Drop Arcana you'll need them later to get Hermes Sandals from Bazzar. Check the Grimoire FAQ, Here is the Grimoire FAQ : http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/459841/45731 If you don't understand This video shows everything : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8CJUQLMgW8 ============================================================================= P4 - After Power-Leveling ============================================================================= To obtain some powerful equipment early-on you must have leveled-up to the 50s at least - or more if you have the patience. As I've said, I leveled-up Vaan to level 84. Leveling to the 50s does not take more than 18 hours. It took 23 hours for KADFC (KaddyGamer on Youtube.com) to reach level 69. It makes your life much easier in your Perfect Game. After you are satisfied with level, (again, level 50+) go to the Giza Plains and get Penelo. Go to Nalbina and buy every magick and equipment ...it's License Board Time!! Obtain every license. It requires about 13330 LP to acquire every license. After you finish leveling up Vaan to the level you want, you must be at least around the 50s in terms of levels. Then go to Giza Plains and get Penelo. After that, go to Nalbina and buy every magick and good stuff. Now, it is LICENSE BOARD TIME. Obtain all Licenses, It requires about 13330 LP to full the licenses board. And you have to get all grimoires. (VERY IMPORTANT) Here is the Grimoire FAQ AGAIN : http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/459841/45731 ============================================================================= P5 - Eqiupments before Garamsythe Waterway ============================================================================= Im going to point out the powerful equipment you can get before the Garamsythe Waterway. If you run out of patience getting a particular piece of equipment then skip it. ie: Burning Bows. Gladius (45 Attack Dagger, Element Wind) : Steal from rare monster Lindbur Wolf, Appears in Dalmasca Westersand / Shimmering Horizon when you have more than 20 chain combo of Wolves. If you want more of them kill Lindbur Wolf before EXP and LP Gain shows like Dustia and Steal another and so on. Blind & Slowing Lindbur Wolf helps a lot. Heavy Lance (48 Attack Spear, On Hit : Slow): OPTIONAL!! Rare monster Fideliant rarely drops it. The monster appears in Dalmasca Westersand / The Midfault, 20% chance for each entry. This enemy is undead and Phoenix Down works so you can chain it easily. Kill a Fideliant, zone back 2 zones, and come back to find another Fideliant. Winged Helm (13 Magic Resist, +5 Strength, +3 Speed Heavy Helm) : Slimes in Zertinan Cavarens rarely drop them. It's very easy to chain them, Kill all slimes then zone back 2 zones and come back for more slimes. I got my 1st Winged Helm at chain number 42. Barbut (11 Magick Resist, Strength+4 Heavy Helm) Credit: wee187 In chest at Zertinan cave as well, you can try getting it while chaining the slimes for Winged Helm. Video from wee187: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFIig61ark8 Burning Bow (63 Attack Bow, Damage+50% when eqiuped with Firey Arrow) : (OPTIONAL!!) Very powerful when equiped with Firey Arrows, especially against enemies that are weak against fire. Dive Talons in Dalmasca Westersand rarely drop Burning Bows. You can try your luck with it, without chaining Dive Talons. I have a tactic but its still require some luck. OK here it goes. Chain any type of monster until highest chain level, easiest are wolves then find a Dive Talon, Blind and Slow it, you should have bought Short Bows in Nalbina, Use Short Bows to bring Dive talon to Critical, then Poison it and wait for its death. By Posioning the Dive Talon, the chain won't break and Dive Talons will Drop the high level chain. But one problem is that Dive Talon sometimes use Kamikaze. If you're lucky it wont do Kamikaze and you get your loot and it includes Burning Bow hopefully. Thats how i got my first Burning Bow. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tY55Ji3ZhL8 Kotetsu (50 Attack Katana) : Very Rare drop from Werewolves in Giza Plains. Since Warewolves are weak against Wind, get at least 1 Gladius before chaining Warewolves. And you should equip a Leather Shield with the Gladius. Leather Shields are available at Nalbina Armor Shop. I got 2 Kotetsu drop at chain 102. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDTvIvXWdxY Flame Staff (33 Attack Staff, Fire, Fira, Firaga Damage +50%) : You should have 99 of them by now, They are dropped by Dustia. Travellers Grab: Feathered Cap(18 Magic Resist, Magick Power+4 Mystic Helm) Traveller's Vestment (16 Defence, Magick Power+5 Mystic Armor ) : Sell : Water Stone x5 (Steal/Drop from Giza Rabbit in Giza Plains) Braid Wool x2 (Drop from rare monster Greeden who Appears in Dalmasca Eastersand/Bank of the Nebra, keep killing enemies in that section until it appears, Don't kill any Cactoid. Tanned Hide x2 (Steal from Wild Saurian in Dalmasca Estersand) (Steal/Drop from Slaven in Giza Plains) Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDTvIvXWdxY Cypress Pole (33 Attack, Element: Earth Pole) : Sell : Earth Stone x4 (Steal/Drop from Cactoid, Slaven, Urstrix in Dalmasca Westersand or Giza Plains) Bone Fragment x5 (Drops from rare monster Fideliant in Dalmasca Westersand, refer to Heavy Lance) Succulent Fruit x3 (Drop/Steal Alraune in Dalmasca Westersand) Bone Helm (22 Magic Resist, Strength+6,Dark Damage-50%, Weak:Holy Heavy Helm) OPTIONAL!! Effective against Dark Damage cuts it by half but the character eqiuping it is weak against Holy so BEWARE!!! Wild Saurian drops it very rarely and the bad thing is that you can't chain Wild Saurian. I got one on 23th Wild Saurian kill, if you got tired of it then skip getting it. It is not needed. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTkNVwOyq6I ================================================================================ P6 - To Garamsythe Waterway ================================================================================ After getting everything you wanted, continue with the storyline. When you are in the basement at the Palace of Rabanastre, make sure you don't take any of treasure coffers. Should you take them now, you'll never get an early Zodiac Spear. I will also point out the other forbidden treasures. In the Nalbina Dungeon, you can farm 99 Knots of Rust if you want. They do a great deal of damage since your HP is high. After your fight with the 3 seeqs and you get back your equipment back there are more treasure coffers which are forbidden as well - so avoid taking them. Chop your way through the Barhiem Passage and you'll end up in Rabanastre. Once Basch is a permanent party member its time to acquire every license on his License Board. Do the same when you get Fran and Balthier. =============================================================================== P7 - Eqiupments before skycity of Bhujerba =============================================================================== Before going to Bhujerba you can acquire these : Francisca (89 Attack Axe) : Sell : Wind Magicite x6 (Drop from Dive Talon in Dalmasca Westersand) Pointed Horn x2 (Drop from Lizard in Garamsythe Waterway) Malboro Fruit x4 (Drop/Steal from Malboro Overking in Garamsythe Waterway) Hermes Sandals (Auto-Haste Accessory !!!!!) Sell : Arcana x15 (Drop from Rare Monster Dustia) Gysahl Greens x33 (Buy at Muthru Bazzar Shop in Rabanastre, you must have defeated 5 Marks to be able to buy) Golden Armor (20 Defence, Strength+4 Heavy Armor) Golden Helm (15 Magick Resist, Strength+5 Heavy Helm) Golden Shield (16 Evade Shield): Sell: Dark Magicite x3 (Drop/Steal from Malboro Overking in Garamsythe Waterway) You should have enough by now when you was going for Malboro Fruits. Iron Carapace x3 (Poach from Seliphnir in Dalmasca Westersand) Poach can be bought in Nalbina Technick Shop Tanned Hide x2 (Drop/Steal from Slaven in Giza Plains) After these, do all hunts that are available and go accept the mark Rocktoise, so you can do it later in Lhusu Mines. ============================================================================== P8 - To the skycity of Bhujerba ============================================================================== Head to Bhujerba and have fun with the Ba'Gamnan battle. ;) Head back to Bhujerba and do the minigame. Before meeting Marquis Ondore, accept Nidhogg mark hunt and do it, along with the Rocktoise hunt. Upon receiving your rewards meet with the Marquis. You end up in Dreadnought Leviathan with Vossler as a guest. Vossler was level 90 on my file!! After Ashe is a permanent member complete her licenses board. Defeat Judge Ghis. You'll end up in Bhujerba yet again. After another bout with the Maquis you'll see my favorite scene in which Ashe tries to steal the Strahl. Once you are back in the Dalmasca Westersand, run back/teleport to Rabanastre and buy everything that can be bought including 6 Windbreakers. You'll learn how great these are later. ============================================================================= P9 - Eqiupments before Tomb of Raithwall ============================================================================= Its important to accept the Wyvern Lord mark hunt in Rabanastre before going to the Tomb of Raithwall. You'll need to steal two Wyvern Wings for the Acturus gun, the second-best gun in the game. Acturus (44 Attack Gun) : Sell: Wyvern Wing x2 (Steal from Wyvern Lord), Steal one zone out and come back to steal the second one, you dont have 100% chance stealing one, its a rare steal) Yensa Fin x2 (Rare Steal from Urtan Yensa in both sandseas) (20% Drop from Yensas in Nam-Yensa Sandsea) Salamand Halycon x1 (3% Steal from Salamand Entite in Ogir-Yensa Sandsea/Central Junction or Primary Tank Complex Section) Be patince it will take you alot of time. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URrMe1ogdW0 Osafune (54 Attack Katana) OPTIONAL!! : Rare Drop from Rare Monster Urtan Exile, appears in Ogir-Yensa Sandsea/ Platform 2-Refinery when you have 100 chain combo of Urtan Yensa. Oil Soaked Incendiaries (Credit: Giruvegan01) Tumulus (66 Attack Power hand bomb) Oil Bombs (On hit: Oil Bomb) Sell: 2x Book of Orgain (You should have sold 99 by now drop from Dustia) 4x Bomb Ashes (Drop from Rare Game Pineapple. Make top chain with Urutan Yensa and then Petrify Pineapple) 3x fire Crystal (Common steal from Salamand Entite, you should have many whilist you tried to steal Salamand Halcyon for Acturuss above) Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckq1-9LOpTI Zwill Crossblade (73 Attack Power, Element: Wind Dagger) OPTIONAL! Sell: Malboro Flower x7 (Steal from Malboro Overking in Garamsythe Waterway) Wind Crystal x9 (Steal from Greeden in Dalmasca Eastersands) Windslicer Pinion x5 (3% Drop from Imdugud in Nam Yensa) It will be very powerful at this point of the game so this is warmed recommended from Griruvegan01 and myself. Enjoy Kicking some asses :) Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FrpLH3WoNQ =========================================================================== P10 - Eqiupments in Tomb of Raithwall =========================================================================== Have fun with your Acturus, you can now get some good eqiupments inside of Tomb of Raithwall, Defeat Both Demon Walls, Joke of a BOSS Lamia's Tiara (25 Magick Resist, Magick Power+4, Vitality +7): Steal from rare monster Barmuu. Appears in Tomb of Raithwall/Royal Passage when you have chained more-than 10 of the bats there. This will be useful until you get Celebrant's Miters later in Berhiem Passage. Demonsbane (59 Attack Sword): OPTIONAL!! After defeating both Demons Walls, hit the switch at where the first Demon Wall was, go to the steps that appeared then to the big room then to the secret hall, there is a chest there that have 70% chance appearing and have a chance containing this Sword. Blood Sword (41 Attack, On Hit: Sap Sword) Sell: Dark Stone x5 (Drop/Steal from Lost Soul or Zombie Mage in Tomb of Raithwall) Solid Stone x2 (Drop/Steal from Ragoh in Tomb of Raithwall) Glass Jewel x2 (Drop/Steal from Lich in Tomb of Raithwall) After getting these go through everything until you find yourself in Rabanastre, Now begins the dramatic part. Getting tons of eqiupment before Jahara. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wh7weJVvdYs ============================================================================ P11 - Eqiupments & Stuff before Jahara ============================================================================ This is one of the huge steps in getting a Perfect Game: spending 30+ hours getting a lot of eqiupment and other items. I also point them out for those of you who can't be bothered to level-up past 50. Begin by purchasing every Weapon, Magick, Tecknick, Gambit, Armor & 99 of every item available in the Rabanastre shops. Complete every Hunt that is available before Jahara except Enkelados because we don't want to enter Jahara yet. This allows you to buy the Nihopalaoa accessory and Bubble Arcane Magick from the clan shop (VERY IMPORTANT!!!) New gambits (Everyone) Self----------------------------------> Bubble (One character) Self----------------------------------> Libra Let's start obtaining the eqiupment in order. Go to Mosphoran Highwaste and buy three of every accessory available. Thief Cuffs are very important also. If you don't know how to enter Mosphoran Highwaste then watch this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdjOQUYLGMg Black Belt Accessory (Immune to Disable) Treasure in Giza Plains/Tracks of the Beast - the place where you hunt Gil Snapper Mark Hunt. Here is the location: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x199/Ashe_10/BlackBelt.jpg Start doing the 'Back to Barheim' sidequest for the Barheim Key. Here is video of the whole process getting the key: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mPGHYwx8K0 Dragon Mail (53 Defence, Strength+8, HP+100 Heavy Armor) Treasure in Barheim Passage/West Annex Section. The chances of getting a suit is fair so i suggest you to get as many as six of them. I got five of them in 19 Tries. This picture shows where the treasure is located: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x199/Ashe_10/DragonMail.jpg Celebrant's Miter (50 Magick Resist, Magick Power+6, Speed+5 Mystic Helm) Treasure in Barheim Passage/The Zeviah Span. A great helm, so once again I suggest you to get as many as six of them. Here's the location: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x199/Ashe_10/CarabansMiter.jpg Both Celebrant's Mitre and Dragon Mail Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4z5Hccn1FEI Now we can get the esper: Zalera. Zalera - The Death Seraph Level: 40 HP: 72248 (Credit: sephirosuy) Note that Zalera is undead: Cura for the win! :D My Strategy: Eqiup Ruby Rings (Bought from Mosphoran Highwaste) on everyone cast Cura on yourself, Zalera will go down fast. Raise or Phoenix Downs to revive if you get KO'ed. If you keep a Shell buff active, the chances his Kill will instantly Ko you drop by 50% - so make sure to keep it up! Gambit Setup for this battle: Ally: Any--------------------------> Phoenix Down (or Raise) Ally: Any--------------------------> Echo Herbs Ally: Status Reflect---------------> Cura After getting 3 suits of Dragon Mail and 3 Celebrant's Miters, go to the Salikawood and defeat King Bomb so you can enter the Nechrol of Nabudis. King Bomb is a joke if you throw a Remedy with the Nihopalaoa accessory eqiupped. ;-) Depending on your equipment/levels at this point, you may want to add a few gambits to your active party. Shell + Protect + Bubble will help a low-leveled party survive in the Nechrol of Nabudis...you may even want to throw-on a Libra gambit to avoid the many powerful traps here. When you are ready, use the save crystal. Zodiac Spear (150 Attack Spear) The best Weapon in the game and you can get it THIS early. Once you've killed the King Bomb you may enter the Nechrol of Nabudis. The treasure is located in a room in the 3rd section (from the Salikawood.) You have a 100% chance getting it provided you haven't opened any of the treasure coffers I mentioned earlier. You shouldn't have any problems with your Dragon Mail eqiupped. I suppose 53 Defence is too much? :D Here is its location: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x199/Ashe_10/ZodiacSpear.jpg If you think you're a bit under-leveled equip Nihopolaoa Accessory and use Phoenix Down on enemies to instantly kill them, a fast way to gain some levels (Credit: flak76e) After obtaining the Zodiac Spear get out of here as fast as you can. Refresh Libra so you can avoid the traps and retreat to the save crystal. Congratulations! OK, now off to next equipment. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4z5Hccn1FEI Black Mask (53 Magick Resist, Magick Power+8, Absorb:Dark Mystic Helm) Rare drop from monsters called Banshee in Nebreus Deadlands. Once again with Dragon Mail eqiupped you shouldn't have any trouble. You can easily chain Banshees for as many Black Masks as you'd like. Defender (91 Attack, 35 Evade Great Sword) Rare drop from Leynir in Nebreus Deadlands. There are 5-7 of them just North of the Teleport Crystal here so you can chain them with impunity. This will be your best weapon other than the Zodiac Spear before Jahara. You can level up fast here using a Phoenix Down kills a Leynir instantly like Dustia. Credit: (adrammelechthewroth) This video shows the process: http://youtube.com/watch?v=9_3FgeRhaVU Save the Queen (100 Attack Greatsword) There are two ways to obtain this weapon before Jahara. You can get one from the bazaar or as a drop from the rare monster Velelu in the Nebreus Deadlands. From the Bazaar: Sell: Holy Crystal x10 (Drop from Babil in the Nechrol of Nabudis) Quality Stone x4 (Drop from Babil in Nechrol of Nabudis) Sky Jewel x7 (Drop from Spectar in Barheim Passage ) While you can only obtain one Save the Queen greatsword throught the bazaar, you get as many as you'd like from chaining Velelu. In my opinion, Defenders are better because of the high evasion stat. Video(Bazzar version): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ej9c6akO_w Video(Drop from Velelu): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_VBCQ314vU Maximillian (58 Defence, Magick Resist+1, Strength+9, Speed+6 Heavy Armor) The best Heavy Armor in the game in my opinion. Its a rare drop from Elvorets in the Nechrol of Nabudis. With the Dragon Mail and Celebrant's Miters equipped you can easily walk in there. I suggest you to defeat 6 Oversouls and the rare monster Helvinek before beginning to chain Elvorets so the Oversouls won't disturb you while you chain the Elvorets. Don't leave Nabudis or else the Oversouls respawn. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_-FFngppD4 Golden Skullcap (58 Magic Resist, Magick Power+12, Speed+3 Mystic Helm) The best Mystic Helm after the Circlet. Its a rare steal from Dead Bones in Nebreus Deadlands/Overlooking Eternity. Equip Thief Cuffs to increase the chance stealing. Video from TheWingedCloud: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaxijbrNNHk Rubber Suit (42 Defence, HP +700, Immune: Lightning Light Armor) & Crown of Laurels (42 Magick Resist, HP+600 Light Helm) : Extremely amazing! Awesome HP Boost and you're immune to thunder. You'll get these from the bazaar. Sell: Fire Crystal x8 (Drop from Grenades in the Zertinan Caverns.) Go to the secret path in the section where the save crystal is. Follow that path and you'll end up in the place where the Grenades are. Prime Pelt x9 (Rare Drop from Rare Monster Lindbur Wolf in Dalamasca Westersand.) This is the same monster that you stole the Gladius from. Alternatively, steal them from a Weary Wolf which appears randomly in the Mosphoran Highwaste/Summit Path. They have a 7% chance replacing one of the wolves here each time you enter. Forbidden Flesh x7 (Drop from Zombie Warlock in Narchol of Nabudis) Here's a video from treb2780 regarding the above: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta_9yM-YCDc Want more Crown of Laurels ??? Easy to get more ;-) Rare drop from Crusaders in Nebreus Deadlands, they are from the same type as Dead Bones so they are easy to chain. Demon Shield (40 Evade, Absorb: Dark) Sell: Aged Turtle Shell x2 (Drop/Steal from Emeralditan in the Nebreus Deadlands south of the Teleport Crystal.) Destrier Barding x8 (Drop from Leynir in Nebreus Deadlands North of the Teleport Crystal.) Leamonde Halcyon x1 (Rare Drop/Steal from Leamonde Entite appears in Nebreus Deadlands South of Teleport Crystal during fog. Use the same tactic i used to Steal Salamand Halcyon. Note that you can obtain 99 of these through leveling in the Henne Mines instead...althought they are an awesome shield to have this early in the game. Iron Ore x5 (Drop from Mimeo in BArhiem Passage) Water Crystal x7 (Drop from Silicon Tortiose in Giza Plains/ Walk of the sacred beast) Deathbringer (90 Attack, On Hit: KO Sword) Very useful! I suggest equipping it with a Demon Shield. Its stolen from rare monster: Ithuno. He has 20% chance to appear in the Barheim Passage/Special Op Sector 5 (just reload from the Barheim save crystal if it doesn't appear.) It appears as a treasure coffer, so you have to press X in order to make it come to life, then steal from it. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epZLSweucb8 Indigo Pendent (Increase likelihood that magicks will hit targets) This accessory increases the chances that spells like Reverse, Disable Warp, Blind...etc. will successfully land when cast on a target. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VN0bK6tlj-E Munerva Bustier (40 Defence, HP +610 Light Armor) A little better than Gigas Chestplate so its up to you which one you want. Rare drop from Foobar in Nebreus Deadlands, you can chain them. Gigas Hat (38 Magick Resist, HP +530, Magick Power +2) : Amazing HP Boost as well. Steal from the Dead Bones in Barhiem Passage, just eqiup Thief's Cuffs you'll get 6 of them in no time ;D Once again always take note of this gambit for your leader: Foe: HP=100%---------------> Steal Now if you want level up more the best place is Nebreus Deadlands chaining Dead Bones. Here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=KatnKoxmnks Iga Blade (67 Attack Power, Element: Dark Ninja Blade) Rare Drop from Bogeyes in Zertinan Cavaren. Now we can obtain the esper: Chuchulainn Cuchulainn - the Impure Level: 45 HP: 126165 (Credit: sephirousy) The HP Drain is very annoying. He also casts nasty magick like Disablega; thats why i recommended you obtain Black Belts. He also has some help from Foobars. My Strategy: Before the battle - buff everyone with Protect, Shell, Bubble Hastega Motes (if you have any) also help. Use the following gambit setup. Ally: Any---------------------------> Phoenix Down Ally: Any---------------------------> Remedy (or Esuna) Ally: HP<70%------------------------> Cura Ally: Any---------------------------> Bubble Foe: Nearest Vissible--------------> Attack With your equipment and decent levels (50's +) you'll have no troubles. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdfPlXgQ1gY ========================================================================== P12 - To Jahara ========================================================================== After getting everything you want continue the storyline, head to Jahara and buy everything available then in Eruyt Village then to henne mines now it's time to get another Ultimate Weapon =D Scorpion Tail (119 Attack Power Hammer) The best Hammer in the game. New Gambits: (Everyone) Self---------------------------------->Haste (Everyone) Ally: HP<50%-------------------------->Curaga (One character) Ally: Party leader-------------------->Float. Back to Rabanastre and accept every hunt available and complete them. When you are Riskbreaker buy Bubble Belt Accessory. With Lante's you'll be able to enter Feywood, now we can get some eqiupment before Paramina Rift. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxEehVqSCeY =========================================================================== P13 - Eqiupments before Paramina Rift =========================================================================== More Demon Shields: You can chain the Abysteels at the Henne Mines for more Demon Shields now - but its unnecessary, you'll get more of those if/when you level there later... Artemis Bow (87 Attack Power Bow) The second best bow in the game: Neat Sell: Sylphi Halcyon x1 (Rare Steal/Drop from Sylphi Entite in Ozmone Plains/Field of Light Winds) Appears during cloudy weather. Great Serpent's Fang x2 (Rare Drop/Poach from Phyton in Mosphoran Highwaste or steal from rare monster: Midgardsormr in the Glomore Jungle/ Paths of Chained Light) 20% chance of appearing each time you enter. Note that you can't see it immediately - it pops up from the ground. Moondust x2 (Drop/Poach from Mu in the Feywood) This might take a while so be patient, as always. Artemis Arrows (Attack Power+5, Element: Earth Arrow) Sell: Gemini Gem x3 (Drop/Steal from Warewolf in Giza Plains during the dry season or Slaven Wilder in Mosphoran Highwaste) Vampyr Fang x2 (Drop/Steal from Abysteel in Henne Mines) Refer to my Demon Shield video. While equipped, it gives Auto-Reflect. Rare drop from Mirror Knights in the Feywood. There's nothing special to note about chaining them. It's easy. Now you can use the Mirror Knight method to gain gil quickly (if you want.) Chain them until you get 99 Windslicer Pinions and then sell them. Video regarding this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=n3DVr3vsX2I Stone Shot (+4 Attack, On Hit: Petrify ammo for guns) This ammo can be useful if you like or use guns. Obtain through the bazaar. Sell: Libra Gem x3 (Drop from Tartaros or Cerberus in the Feywood) They are from the same family too so you can chain them both. Mirror Scale x2 (Drop from Mirror Knight in the Feywood) WARNING: again, you should have all the Grimoires. Tyrant Bone x2 (Drop/Poach from Wild Saurian in Dalmasca Estersand) I rarely use Poach, but if it works better for you go for it. Black Bolts (+2 Attack, On Hit: Blind Crossbow Ammo) and Hunting Crossbow (64 Attack Crossbow) : Sell: Dark Crystal x3 (Drop/Steal from many many Undead Monsters like Dead Bones in Barhiem Passage or Nebreus Deadlands) Spiral Incisor x3 (Drop/Steal from Abysteel in Henne Mines) Enter Henne Mines from Feywood you can find 3 of Abysteel) Silver Liquid x3 (Drop from Foobar in Nebreus Deadlands) Ivory Pole (75 Attack Power Pole): Sell: Wind Crystal x7 (Drop from MirrorKnight in Feywood) Demon Feather x6 (Drop/Steal from Garchimacera in Garamythe Waterway) Blood-darkened Bone x8 (Drop from Dead Bones in Nebreus Deadlands) Muramasa (84 Attack Power Katana): -OPTIONAL!- The 2nd best Katana in the game. How is it possible to get it this early? Well, I found this difficult and boring so skip this section if you dont like Katana that much besides, you can obtain it very easier late in the game. (100% Steal from rare monster: Avenger) Its a rare drop from rare monster: Crypt Bunny - in the Feywood/ Walk of Stolen Truths. Crypt Bunny appears after killing the Tatarus and > 5 Cerberus here. So how do you chain it??? Go to the Ozmone Plains/The Greensnake and chain Ozmone Hares here until you build your chail to level 4 - the highest chain level. (You know you have a level 4 chain because the monsters drop the large gold coins.) Now head for the Feywood/Walk of Stolen Truths through the Glomore Jungle (and w/o breaking the chain of course.) Just hold the R2 button or turn off your attack Gambits altogether. When you arrive, begin killing the Tatarus and Cerberus monsters there BY USING POSION so your chain doesnt break. Have on this Gambit: Foe: HP Cirtical-------->Posion. The Tatarus are undead so you can use Hi-Potions and X-Potions to deal damage and bring them to critical but be careful with thier HP they must only die by Posion or else your Ozmone Hare chain breaks. You may also use potions on the Cerberus to bring then to critical health as well if you equip a Nihopolaoa accessory. After killing several of them, the Crypt Bunny appears, kill it and pray for a Muramasa! Using this method it still took me a total of 8 hours to get my Muramasa. SO GOOD LUCK!!! Note: You can steal X-Potions from Mirror Knight in the Feywood if you run low. ============================================================================= P14 - To Paramina Rift ============================================================================= Its high-time to continue the quest. Go to Mt. Bur Omisace. Here, buy anything new and afterwards complete all available hunts so you can purchase the Bubble Belt accessory and Bravery Magick. Use them - love them. Defeat Mateus in the Stillshrine of Miriam and give him to whomever you like. I gave him to Penelo since she is the best Summoner (in my opinon.) return to Mt. Bur-Omisace and defeat Judge Bergan. After defeating him, obtain the Stone of the Condemner from the acolyte ouside the temple. This item allows us to open a secret room in the Stillshrine of Miriam and fight our next esper. Zeromus - Convicted Tyrant Level: 51 HP: 166888 (Credit: sephirosuy) Magick is sealed here so buff all characters before going in, eqiup Nihopolaoa and cast Cornos Tear on the Dark Lords poping up from the ground then focus on attacking the Esper. Throw Hastega Motes if you have and Reflectga Mote. And Summoning Chuchulainn can be a great help, also waste your MP on Quecknings. This is not hard with your Eqiupments. Useful Gambits: Ally: Any-----------------> Phoenix Down Ally: HP<60%--------------> X-Potion Ally: Any-----------------> Remedy Ally: Any-----------------> Hastega Mote (Optional!) Ally: Any-----------------> Reflectga Mote (Optional!) I'll Explain it step by step:- 1 - Go to Nebreus Deadlands and talk to Ma'Kleou who is at the area with the save crystal if you haven't yet. After this you must find 3 Medalions. 2 - You must have gotten the Blackened Fragment by now since you have defeated Orthros Mark Hunt. 3 - Go to Garamsythe Waterway, to the area with 11th, No 4, No 3 and No 10th Gate Panels first of all light off all of them then then follow the steps below: A- Turn On No 11 Area Panel (Which means light up the panel) B- Turn On No 4 Area Panel C- Turn Off No 11 Area Panel D- Turn On No 3 Area Panel E- Turn Off No 4 Area Panel If you did any mistake, just light off all panel and start again Now at south of this area (Here this area with the panels) there is a shiny thing on the ground which is Dull Fragment pick it up and get out of there. 4 - Go to Archades magick shop and talk to the small guy whose name is Roh'Kenmu he is missing his Moonsilver Medallion. Then go to old Archades west section and talk to the guy named Otto he gives you the Moonsilver Medallion, back to Roh'Kenmu and give it to him. 5 - At Lowtown in Old Dalan's house talk to Roh'Kenmou near Dalan, then around South-East area of Lowtown, talk to Filo. 6- Go back to Rabanastre/Southern Plaza talk to the Curious Women who's looking at the fountain. If you have much gil then i perfer using Gil Toss to deal damage if not then use Souleater Technick. Knot of Rust is very good damage dealing as well i used it myself. He uses Aeroja sooner or later it have a chance to inflict characters with confuse its wind based attack, if a character gets confused then dont worry the cant attack each other because Attack is disabled. Well this gambit setup bellow is what i used. Ally: Any ------------------------------------------> Phoenix Down Ally: Any ------------------------------------------> Remedy (Or Esuna) Self: MP<10% ---------------------------------------> Charge Ally: HP<60% ---------------------------------------> Curaja Foe: Nearest Visible -------------------------------> Knot of Rust Foe: Nearest Visible -------------------------------> Gil Toss Foe: Nearest Visible -------------------------------> Souleater Continue with the story line to Ancient City of Giruvegan there get Esper Shemihazai after the cutscene when Ashe gets the Treaty Blade touch the way stone then teleport back to Belfonhiem, let another part begin of equipments :). ============================================================================ P18 - Equipments before Pharos ============================================================================ First of all buy every new spells and equipments that you don't have yet the accept the new mark hunts and finish them all. Brave Suit (40 Defence, HP+10, On Equip: Bravery Light Armor) Quite good but there is no point since we can have Bravery Gambits, besides we can farm these in Henne Mines. Platform E : With Diamond Armlet equipped - Glimmering Robes Without Diamond Armlet equipped - Stone Blade Glimmering Robes (39 Defence, Magick Power+12, Vitality+10 Mystic Armor) The second best Mystic Armor so try to get at least one (You can buy it in Belfonhiem Armor Shop After pharos though) Stone Blade (95 Attack Power Sword) : Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0DbziPGC9s Another way to get this is from Bazzar Goods later when you reach Pharos. Sell: Taurus Gem x3 (Steal/Drop Seeker or Lasser Chimera in Tomb of Raithwall) Orichalcum x2 (Rare Drop/Poach from Diedars in Pharos 2nd Ascent) or (100% Steal from Rare Monster Vishno appears in Pharos floor 48 when you have killed many Diedars) Chimera Head x2 (Drop from Chimera Brain in Pharos 1st and 2nd Ascent) Koga Blade (67 Attack Power, Element: Dark Ninja Blade) Rare drop from Ashwyrm in Great Crystal Upper Layer or Mosphoran Highwaste Exodus's Place. You can chain Ash Wyrm easily in Great Crystal. Defeat Ultima and get the Excalibur Greatsword metioned above Ultima - the High Seraph HP: 258001 (Credit Sephirosuy Weak against: Dark She is very annoying due to the magick fields MP Drain, HP Drain, Attack Sealed, Magick Sealed.........etc. She is weak against Dark so equip everyone with Yogyu Darkblades or Fomalhaut+Dark Shot. She does Holyja which is holy based so equip Sage's Rings to absorb it and Holyja have a chance to inflict Reverse on your party members. Gambit Setup:- Ally: Any ---------------------------> Arise (or Phoenix Down) Ally: Status=Reverse ----------------> Attack (So you heal yourself) Ally: HP<60% ------------------------> Curaja Ally: HP<80% ------------------------> X-Potion (When Magic is sealed Self: -------------------------------> Haste Self: -------------------------------> Bubble (HPx2 is always useful) Ally: Any ---------------------------> Protectga (One character) Ally: Any ---------------------------> Shellga (One character Foe: Nearest ------------------------> Attack Foe: Nearest ------------------------> Gil Toss (When Attack is disabled) Danjuro (80 Attack Power Dagger): The Ultimate Dagger Danjuro, it is the hardest weapon to get in the game in most people's opinions. You have to chain Rare Monster Larva Eater in Great Crystal Upper Layer appears after defeating 256 Enemies there and Chaining it afterwards. HERE IS THE BEST Larva Eater CHAINING METHOD!!!! Simply make Chain of Gragoyle Barons then head for Leo Gate Stone Area and clear off the Necrophobia Ghosts by killing them with posion. Make sure nothing left in the area then Zone in/out between Platform XX and Leo gate Stone Area for about 10 minutes and pray that Larva Eater is there. The videos from Giruvegan01 also known as FF12GrandMaster shows thee process clearly. easy to understand. It's better to see it than read of it so here is video of it. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbUj_KhXxBs Mom Bomb Method (Annoying, takes much time):- If the above method didn't work then you have to rely on this annoying one. Chain Gragoyle Barons in Giruvegan until chain level 3 then head to Great Crystal Around Platform XX there you have to let 256 Mom Bombs Explode (that will not break the chain of Gragoyle Barons). Equip Main Gauche (Dagger) with Zodiac Escutcheon (Shield) So you can easily block Mom Bombs Lunge Attack. Have Gambits:- Self ----------------------> Bubble Self: HP<60% --------------> Curaga After 256 Mom Bombs exploding the Larva Eater will appear at Platform XX, Kill him and pray that he drops a Danjuro. Sometimes reapers will be around like Giruvegan01 described how hard they are just do like he said above. If you didn't get Danjuro it takes 30-256 Mom Bombs to spawn another Larva Eater it depends how lucky you are. Just repeat till you get it. It took 12 hours to get my 1st Danjuro i hope you're not as unlucky. Good Luck!!! ******* We now have 10 Espers its time to unlock Henne Mines East. Go to Jahara and talk to the Garif Sitting. There are many equipments to get in Henne Mines and Esper Zodiark himself. Here is sephirosuy's map showing where every treasure is and shows what they contain with and without Diamond Armlet: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/459841/44213 Thats a perfect map isn't it ? Brave Suit (40 Defence, HP+10, On Equip: Bravery Light Armor) Farm your last Brave Suits here :) **Video coming soon** Zodiark - Keeper of precepts HP:336847 (Credit: sephirosuy) Weak against: Holy Equip someone with Excalibur and the others Massamune and Tournesol, equip Black Masks to absorb his Darkja but Darkja still can KO your Characters and Blind. Shell is important to avoid KO. Zodiark keeps buffing himself so always Dispel, doing so keeps him busy re-buffing himself a good way to kill him before Pyschal Defence. Boost a Dark Matter before fighting him so you can finish him with it when he is cirtical. Gambit Setup:- Ally: Any ---------------------------> Arise (or Phoenix Down) Ally Status = Blind -----------------> Eye Drops Ally: HP<60% ------------------------> Curaja Self: -------------------------------> Hastega Mote (or Haste) Self: -------------------------------> Bubble (HPx2 is always useful) Ally: Any ---------------------------> Shellga (One character, IMPORTANT) Foe: HP Cirtical --------------------> Gil Toss Foe: Nearest ------------------------> Attack Durandal (99 Attack Power Sword) : The best one-handed sword in the game. Equipments:- Member 1: Yogyu Darkblade (No Shield can be equipped) Grand Helm Maximillian Genji Gloves (Change to Bubble Belt after Yiazmat's Growing Threat) Member 2: Yogyu Darkblade (No Shield can be equipped) Magepower Shishak Maximillian Bubble Belt Member 3: Yogyu Darkblade (No Shield can be equipped) Magepower Shishak Maximillian Bubble Belt Gambit Setup:- Member 1: Ally: Any ---------------------------> Arise (or Phoenix Down) Ally: Status = Stop -----------------> Cronos Tear Ally: Status = Cirtical -------------> Renew Self: -------------------------------> Bubble (HPx2 is always useful) Ally: Any ---------------------------> Hastega (or Hastega Mote) Foe: Any ----------------------------> Expose (Success Expose 10 times then turn this gambit off) Foe: Nearest ------------------------> Attack Member 2: Ally: Any ---------------------------> Arise (or Phoenix Down) Ally Status = Stop ------------------> Cronos Tear Ally: HP<60% ------------------------> Curaja Self: -------------------------------> Bubble (HPx2 is always useful) Self: -------------------------------> Protectga Foe: Any ----------------------------> Expose (Success Expose 10 times then turn this gambit off) Foe: Nearest ------------------------> Attack Member 3: Ally: Any ---------------------------> Arise (or Phoenix Down) Ally Status = Stop ------------------> Cronos Tear Ally: HP<60% ------------------------> Curaja Self: -------------------------------> Bubble (HPx2 is always useful) Foe: Any ----------------------------> Expose (Success Expose 10 times then turn this gambit off) Foe: Nearest ------------------------> Attack You can cut Yiazmat's Cyclone Damage by half if you equip Windbreaker (Light Armor) since it's Wind Based but never forget to equip back the Maximillian. *********************************** 50 Minutes Yiazmat In this section, let's take a look at the notorious 50-million HP Yiazmat, and see how Ultimania Omega claims it can be defeated in 50 minutes. ======================================================================== | Yiazmat Lv 73 | |------------------------------------------------------------------------| | HP 50,112,254 | MP 999 | Fir Ice Thd Wat Ear Wnd Hol Dak | |-------------------|------------------| Haf Haf Haf Haf Haf Haf Abs Wek | | STR 61 | MAG 67 | VIT 99 | SPD 20 | Elemental Bonus: Holy | |---------|---------|---------|--------|---------------------------------| | ATK 107 | DEF 36 | MDEF 40 | EVA 0 | Combo Rate: 21%, Max Hit: 12 | |------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Immunity: | | All negative statuses, Berserk | |------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Passive ability: (See Section 8a for details) | | Safety, Knock Back Immunity, Ignore Weather / Terrain, Ignore VIT, | | Penetrate Reflect, Penetrate Evasion, | | Regular Attack Damge Up (x1.2), HP critical Attack Damage Up (x 1.2) | ======================================================================== Note1: When HP < 50%, gains "Damage Cut" passive ability. It seems that DEF is unrelated to the damage received. The damage of Cyclone increases when Yiazmat is at critical HP, up to 9999. Note2: Stone Breath and White Breath has a fan radius of 6, and width of 120 degrees. So what's the fastest way to defeat Yiazmat? The information below is straight from Ultimania Omega, about how to defeat Yiazmat in 50 minutes. Special thanks go to Sionkuja@ffsky.cn for making it available to us. You don't have to exactly copy this strategy. For example, leveling all characters to Lv 99 is very time-consuming, much more than the time you save on Yiazmat. [Basic concept] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Two damage dealers. - Pick: Basch & Balthier, for their decent STR and lack of MAG and MP. - Always HP critical (DMG x 2) - Always Berserk (DMG x 1.5, Charge x 2) - High-combo weapon + Bravery suit 2. One leader. - All 4 other members all designated for this job. - Focus on self reverse + decoy - Control the situation 3. Switch in and out party members manually - When leader dies, switch in another leader to restore control. [Preparations] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. All characters lv 99, all licenses purchased. 2. Leader(s): [Status] Reverse, Lure, Regen, Bubble, Protect, Libra, Haste [Weapon] Staff of the Magi [Helmet] Crown of Laurel (Vaan & Fran) / Duel Mask (Ashe & Penelo) [Armor ] Lordly Robe [Acces.] Power Armlet (immune to Stop) [Gambit] 1. Foe: HP < 100000 Dark Matter 2. Ally: any Chronos Tear 3. Ally status: Reflect Dispel 4. Self Reverse 5. Ally: any Arise 6. Self Decoy 7. Self Bubble 8. Self: MP < 50% High Ether 9. Ally: MP < 10% Berserk 10: Ally: MP < 10% Haste 11: Ally: any Gold Needle 12: Foe: any Dispel 3. Damage Dealers: [Status] HP Critical, Berserk, Float, Haste (Basch) [Weapon] Masaume (Interestingly, not Yagyu Darkblade) [Helmet] Celebrant's Mitter (MAG & SPD) [Armor ] Brave Suit (DMG x 1.3) [Acces.] Genji Gloves (Basch) / Hermes Boots (Balthier) [Gambit] 1. Ally: any Chronos Tear 2. Self: HP < 10% Berserk 3. Foe: HP < 10% Attack 4. Self: HP < 10% Bacchu's Wine 5. Self: Infuse (MP -> HP) 4. Inventory: Dark Matter x 1 (charged to full with Knof of Rust, 60k DMG) Yagyu Darkblade x 1 or more Shell Shield x 1 or more Bubble Belt x 4 or more High Ether Plenty Remedy Plenty Gold Needle Plenty Chronos Tear Plenty Bacchu's Wine Plenty 5. Config: [Battle]: Active Mode [Speed ]: Fastest [Cursor]: Memorized ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Leader's Action from Minute 01 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. To start the battle, get five successful Expose on Yiazmat. This cuts its DEF by half. 2. Leader runs around Yiazmat, always trying to chase its tail from its side. Better don't get too close, so you can always run away from Instant KO. 3. After Yiazmat HP < 20% (Growing Threat), start to use Bubble Belt on the leader. Also, whenenver the leader becomes immobilized or KOed, also use Bubble Belt to make sure he/she is revived with 2X HP. 4. Watch Yiazmat. When the "shake head" animation (I guess it means Cyclone) is over, quickly press Triangle to switch in and out members. 5. Leader is usually under the "R2" (fleeing) mode, if there is nothing to do. 6. When Yiazmat readies Cyclone, the leader must be far away from others. 7. When Yiazmat readies Death Strike, the leader puts on a Shell Shield. Switch back to Staff of Magi afterwards. 8. When leader gets KO, quickly open the menu, switch out Balthier for a second leader. Priority is Arise -> Reverse -> Lure -> Bubble. Only after all buffs are ready, switch back in Balthier. 9. During the last HP bar of Yiazmat, switch a fresh leader in. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If your leader steps on a trap: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. If damaged, make sure you have the "Reverse" status, and thank Yiazmat for healing. 2. If getting bad status like silence, toss a remedy manually. 3. If losing control because of berserk, manually switch on Yagyu Darkblade, and go to 4. 4. If losing control, switch out Balthier to get a new leader in to toss a remedy or dispel. Make sure Arise -> Reverse -> Lure -> Bubble do exist on both "leaders", then switch Balthier back. Have fun! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ User Feedbacks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ According to Mookiethebold, while following the exact gambit setup, the damage dealers Infuse themsleves to death (as there was no MP recovery in time). It seems that the AI does not hault infusing even if their MP is 0. We are still waiting for more feedbacks on this issue. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- After defeating Yiazmat congratulations!! you have completed all Mark Hunts Get your Reward which includes Godslayer's Badge, it's needed to get Wyrmhero Blade from Bazzar Goods. Now fish in the last fishing spot, named Den of the River Lord (name Master Den for JP version). Try your best to get 9 successfully command input for the King Of Nebra, then lastly obtain the Lu Shang's Badge, which is the trading treasure for Wyrmhero Blade/Tolo Sword. Note/Tips: I've heard the Saboten Crest/Cactoid Commendation in Hidden Shoals is random, not too sure, but I got it at my fifth perfect fishing. For the last fishing spot, Den of the River Lord, you just need to get 9 sucessfully fishing to get the Lu Shang's Badge/Taikou Chest. And it's simple since you don't need to get perfect fishing exaclty, as long as you got 9 times, the loot is yours. Try to memorize the buttons like this: .-----------------------------. | R 1 L 2 ^ [ ] | | R 2 L 1 X -> | '-----------------------------' Nothing other than practice, keep your cool during the process.
