******************************************************************************** **** Grand Theft Auto 3: Vehicle Guide v.1 Hello, and welcome to my first issue on Grand Theft Auto 3: Vehicle Guide. When I first saw some screenshots of this game in September last year, I was stunned. The graphics were phenomenal; I knew that we were in for a treat. Soon, the game was released, and was shifting copies faster than you can say īGangsterī. We were not to be disappointed; we were treated to a piece of gaming history. Since then I have been playing that game more times than you have eaten hot meals, I have discovered many skills and strategies during the game, but one of the things that fascinated me the most was the variety of cars. In this guide I will go through and explain every single car in the game, what benefits that car has, and what is bad about the car. I will be using this template: Car Name: Car Speed:(out of 10) Car Strength:(out of 10) Description:(my opinion on the vehicle) Rarity:(out of 10- 1 being the rarist, 10 the most popular) Found:(which island?) Press R3 to start them. All these missions are limited to the areas in which you start them, so if you start a taxi mission in Staunton Island, you won't be expected to go to Shoreside Vale. Vigilante: When in a police car or enforcer, you can chase other criminals and bring them to justice. Once you've started the mission, a green dot will appear on the map. Head over to it to find a criminal. Chase them and keep ramming them to try and make them stop. Once they stop, they may get out, so run them over or shoot them. Keep an eye on the clock to make sure you're not taking too long. If you do get out of your vehicle, you will have 1 minute to return to it before the mission ends. You can continue chasing chasing and killing criminals until the time runs out or you die. Paramedic: When in an Ambulance it's possible to do a good deed and save people. Once the mission has started, head to the green dot to find a patient and take them to the hospital, but drive carefully as each impact reduces their chance of survival. The missions go up a level each time, so level 2 requires you to rescue 2 patients, level 3 to rescue 3 patients and so on. The ambulance will hold a maximum of 3 patients, so you don't have to make to many trips, but you don't have much time so don't hang about. If you get out of the ambulance, the mission will automatically end. Firefighter: Being in a firetruck allows you to perform the firefighter missions. You don't have a lot of time, so quickly get to the fire (represented by a green dot on the map) and put it out with your water cannon. You can continue this mission until time runs out, or you get out of the firetruck. Taxi Driver: When you steal a taxi, you can do some work as a taxi driver for extra work. Simply pick up a fare and take them where they want to go. If you do it quickly you'll get a speed bonus. If your car becomes too damaged, the passenger will flee in terror and you won't be able to pick up another until it is repaired. The mission ends when you get out of the taxi or run out of time. ******************************************************************************** ***************************** End That is all for my FAQ for now, but I wish to update it regularly, so any feedback, suggestions or questions can be directed to myself on any of the below contacts: E-mail: PaPaRoAcH@manunited.fcmail.co.uk AIM: Cookie11061988 Thank-You
