I do not guarantee the strategy provided will work for you, it is just the strategy that I used. It will be updated on a regular basis as I pass more missions. I haven't seperated the missions under different bosses as to avoid potential spoilers if you look ahead, and I've tried to keep most of it spoiler free by not describing too much of the cut-scenes, but reading ahead will almost garantee that you'll run into some spoillers, so unless you don't mind spoilers, don't read ahead. I hope you enjoy it and find this guide useful. If you are looking for a certain mission, press Crtl+F and type in the name of the mission. ------------------------------------------- 1.0.1 - Legal Stuff ------------------------------------------- This FAQ/walkthrough is available only on Neoseeker.com and permission is NOT given to host it at any other site. So DO NOT PM/e-mail me for permission to put it on your site, if I see it on another site I will make sure you get in a lot of trouble and I will remove it from that site. I have copyright over this document and stealing it is against the law. -------------------------------------------- Updates --------------------------------------------- [BETA] 16th of January 2005 - Started this FAQ. [v0.1] Made index of missions up to and including San Fierro. Written first few missions in San Fierro. 4th of February - Submitted FAQ to Neoseeker.com [v0.1b] 12th of March - Fixed spelling and added a few more mission solutions. Notes [13.3.05]: Sorry for going so long with a lack of updates but I haven't played San Andreas in a while due to difficult circumstances and overwhelming amount of school work/other personal things. Thankfully, I have put some time aside to update this FAQ, it will only be a small update but hopefully I will have Some more free time soon and be able to add more and more missions. I've only got a few missions left in San Fierro and hopefully after the next update I'll be well into the desert missions. [v0.2] 28th of March - Added a few more missions, updated the whole thing in general, extended index of main missions, added in index of desert missions. Las Venturas index coming soon! Notes [28.3.05]: Took longer than I thought it would to get time to add more missions, slowly but steadily I'm making my way through the missions. Stick with me though, every update it is getting closer to finished and more comprehensive. Now called v0.2 Re-formatted a few things slightly. I've done all the San Fierro missions now and I just have to do a few more of the desert missions. [v.0.3] 23rd of October 2005 - Yeah, finally made a large update after a long time without any. Added several new missions, did a little bit of re-formatting, added an index of Las Venturas missions and I am working on improving the solutions for some of earlier mission, as well as considering adding a new section. Expect another update soon, including more revised missions and new missions. [v0.4] 3rd of June 2006 - Shit, has it really been this long? I've been busy with other games since the last update, and then after that I had exams, now I'm back with a few updates. Updates include some more mission discriptions, another change in formatting, and another review of older missions. Haha, one day I hope to actually have a fully complete document, I guess it will get done when I have the time though. I'm also considering adding some R3 Mission guides, but I might finish the Las Venturas mission before I do that. [v0.5] 22nd of June 2006 - Mission index fixed and extended to include Final Missions. Minor ammendments made throughout the guide and more mission discriptions added. [v0.6] 26th of June 2006 - I added a few extra things and changed the mission order around a bit, which may mess up some of the numbers in the actual mission guide, but hang tight, use the actual name of the mission when using the Find command and you should be fine until I fix it in the next update. [v0.7] 20th of October 2006 - Yes I am still alive, and yes I do occasionaly update this. It's a long work in progress, but it's a very long game and a very long guide. My aim is to have it fully complete before it hits the 2 year mark of when I started. I should definately have every single mission done by December, then I plan to refine them all and add some new sections, creating the final version in early January. I'm working on other projects, so this timeline may get pushed back, but if everything stays on course, that's when it will be done. This version also includes a slight reformatting of the update log and an ASCII header at the top of the guide. --------------------------------------------- 2.00 - Intro --------------------------------------------- A cut scene with the cops will play, once it's over, get on the bike and ride towards the CJ marker on your radar (bottom left hand corner of screen). Go into the red marker outside your house, make sure you put your bike in the garage first, so you will have a vehichle for the early weapons, and can build up your bike riding skill by riding it around. ---------------------------------------------- Big Smoke ---------------------------------------------- A cut scene will play re-uniting you with Big Smoke. He'll take you across town to meet your brother. ---------------------------------------------- Sweet and Kendl ---------------------------------------------- You see some old gang member's, but then you'll be shot at by Ballas and forced to lose them on bikes. Get on the bike and try and lose the car that will be following you. If you can't lose them, get off your bike, get out a gun and shoot at the car until it explodes. If the cops are onto you, go as fast as you can and you should be able to lose them, if you can't, just get off your bike and quickly jack a car for a faster escape, once you have lost the wanted level you can return to your bike and continue the mission. Follow the gang. You'll then split up, follow Ryder (the one with the blue marker over him). Ride into the red marker to complete the mission. You'll be awarded with respect +. ---------------------------------------------- The Johnson House ----------------------------------------------- You'll be shown some basics such as how to save, go upstairs and pick up the camera. Save your game then exit the house. You'll be told to see Ryder, you may also get a phone call. You can answer your phone by pressing L1 when it rings. Walk into the red marker outside Ryder's house which is just to your left if you are standing on the porch of the Johnson House. ----------------------------------------------- 2.0.1 - Ryder ----------------------------------------------- Get in the car and drive to Reece's. Park in the red marker and enter. Walk into the marker in the shop to sit in the chair, get a cheap haircut because you won't have much money. Exit and re-join Ryder outside. Go to the pizza place and have a meal. Ryder will then try and rob the place but get busted so shoot the cashier and take his gun. Get in the truck and take Ryder back to the hood. You'll be awarded with respect +. ----------------------------------------------- 2.0.2 - Tagging up Turf ----------------------------------------------- Drive Sweet across town where you'll be given a spray can and be shown how to spray tags. The tags are marked with a green logo on your radar. Stand in front of them, making sure you have the spray can selected. Then press R1 to aim and O to spray over them. Spray all the tags and then return to Sweet's car. Drive to the yellow marker on your map which is Ballas territory. Spray the rest of the tags, the last one will be in an alley with some Ballas in it, shoot them, take their weapons and money then spray the tags. There will be one tag left, spray it and Sweet will collect you. Go back to the hood to finish the mission. You will now of sprayed 6/100 tags (the rest are scattered around Los Santos). You will also get respect and $200. You will get a phone call telling you not to leave town, get some ammo form behind Sweet's house then save your game. It's also good at this stage to take the time to spray all of the tags, so you have a couple of powerfull weapons at the Johnson house which you can use when you need them. ------------------------------------------------- 2.0.3 - Cleaning the Hood ------------------------------------------------- Take Sweet's car and go visit B Dup with Ryder. You will return to the street, a crack dealer's location will now be on your radar. Go to his place and kill him. Now go to the dealer's apartment, there will be some Ballas there so kill them. They're all a bad shot, but if you're not too good at shooting, crouch down in some space, so you have better accuracy and so they won't get right in your face and prevent you from shooting, take cover behind an object if you are losing health and let Ryder finish them off. Then take Ryder back to Sweet's place, you will get some more respect. ------------------------------------------------- 2.04 - Drive-Thru ------------------------------------------------- Take the gang to the Cluckin' Bell drive through where you will see some Ballas looking for revenge. Trail there car and let your homies do the shooting while you concentrate on the driving and giving them a good angle to shoot at. It will be on fire and explode, kill any survivors, taking their guns, money etc.. Drop the gang off to complete the mission. You will gain respect and $200. Sweet will call you telling you about gym's in Los Santos where you can work out and build muscle, as well as learing how to fight. You don't need to go to the gym straight away to continue with the main story missions, but it's best if you do max out your muscle and stamina, so you can run for longer and ride for longer when on a push bike. --------------------------------------------------- 2.05 - Nines and AK’s --------------------------------------------------- Take Smoke to Emmet's house. Follow the onscreen instruction to learn about using pistols. You will be taught about auto-aiming and manual aiming, both which are extremelly useful skills in this game. Now that you have easy access to guns, it would be an ideal time to upgrade your pistol skill to Hitman, which can be done by a lot of target practise. You won't need an extremely high skill level with guns for the earlier missions, but doing it now will save time later and help with the harder mission. This mission will unlock Emmet's where you can get guns and ammo. Get some clothes to complete the mission. You will be once again rewarded with respect +. ------------------------------------------------------ 2.06 - Drive-By ------------------------------------------------------ Take your homies to the Ballas territory hideout. Run over the Balla's (marked on your radar) then reverse over them. Your gang will shoot the survivors, but drive back and forward so they don't shoot up your car too much. You can help shoot if you want, but your gang can easily take care of them if you help out with running them over first and then giving them a good angle to shoot from. Drive past a couple more groups of Ballas, running some over each time then letting your gang take care of the rest. Hop out of the car each time and pick up their ammo and money, all of which is useful and you should get into the habbit of doing whenever you kill someone. Once this is done the cops will be after you, get a re-spray from the local Pay 'n Spray and head back to the hood. You will get respect and $500. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.07 - Sweet’s Girl -------------------------------------------------------- You'll get a call from Sweet telling you that him and his girl are surrounded by Ballas and they're in trouble. There will be a bar for Sweet's health, don't let it get to zero or you will fail the mission. Jump in a car and drive as fast as possible to the location. If you have to stop and buy a gun you'll run out of time, so make sure you come prepared with a good weapon and lots of ammo. Try not to bang up the car too much on the way over their, because you'll need it in the latter stage When you get to the place and it will need to take some heavy gunfire. When you arrive you will be surrounded by Ballas marked with red arrows. Run as many over as you can, reversing over any other one's in the area, and doing a drive-by on the final round of them, they will be shooting at your car so bail out when it catches fire, preferably drive it towards a group of them if you can, and most will probably be killed in the explosion. Then get out and shoot the rest, using a car for cover if you need to. When they are all dead, grab a 4 door car and drive into the red marker. You will be chased so just go fast and let Sweet shoot them. Take Sweet back to the hood to gain more respect. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.08 - Cesar Vialpando -------------------------------------------------------- Go to the garage in Willow Field. You'll get a Low Rider and be prompted to enter the garage. Reverse in and mod it to your liking, you can get anything form a new paint job to Nos, but it's better to wait until you have some more money before decing to mod your stock standard low rider into a fully sick pimping machine. Then drive to the Low Rider meet on your radar. Move the right analogue stick as the arrow passes under the circle, with a bit of practice you will pass this easily. Bet the maximum because it's fairly easy and you should win. This is the last one of Sweet's jobs for now, you will be rewarded with what ever money you bet, respect and the ability to challenge them in low rider races when you want. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.09 - Home Invasion -------------------------------------------------------- Go to Ryder's house. You have about 7-8 mins to steal the guns. Get in the truck and drive as fast as you can, it is big and handles badly but do your best. Don't go too fast around sharp corners or it may tip. Once you get there, go in the house. Press L3 to crouch. Walk up to a crate of guns and press triangle to pick it up. Keep an eye on your noise bar, don't let it get to maximum. Creep out and put the crate in the van, go back in and get 2 more crates. The best strategy is to creep forward a couple of steps, let the noise bar get to about half way, then stop and watch it drop back down to zero. Then repeat until you have reached the crate. Drive to the lock-up to complete this mission. You can now rob houses at night with the right truck. You are awarded with respect +. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.10 - Catalyst -------------------------------------------------------- Take Ryder to the train station. Kill the gang members who are trying to rob the train. Some Ballas will arrive, shoot there car until it blows up, this will take most of them out. Take cover behind the train if you need to, let Ryder take out a few guys, then you jump in and help out, in order to conserve your health. Pick up there guns and shoot the rest of them. Go to the orange marker to get on the train. You will now have to throw a certain number (10) of boxes to Ryder in a certain time, use L1 to throw them. Aim a bit above his head. You will now be a wanted level 3. Go in the opposite direction down the tracks until you lose 1 star. Now go to the Pay 'n Spray to lose the rest of the cops. Take the crates back to the 'hood. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.11 - Robbing Uncle Sam -------------------------------------------------------- Take Ryder's van to the docks. When you get there, kill the guards, then jump the fence. Shoot the control panel on the other side to let Ryder in. Repeat for the warehouse door. Kill the guards using auto-aim, and taking cover behind a crate. Get in there then get in the forklift. Ryder will be standing guard but he's a crap shot so make sure that you run and shoot the soldiers whenever you hear gunfire, to avoid Ryder being killed and you failing the mission. Lift up all six crates one by one using the on-screen instruction, put them in Ryder's van. Keep an eye on Ryder's health, moving the crates will be slow and tedious, but there shouldn't be many people to bother you. Drive back to the lockup and press L3 every now and then to get Ryder to throw crates at the cars following you. You will be rewarded with respect +. This is the last of Ryder's missions. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.12 - OG Loc -------------------------------------------------------- Drive to the police station and pick up OG Loc aka "Jeffrey". Drive to Freddy's place. Ring the doorbell, he'll run off so hop on the bike and chase him. Make sure OG doesn't fall off. Stick as close as you can to Freddy and try and memorise his path in case you need to re-attempt the mission, so you know where he goes. Having a higher bike skill will help here, the key is to always have Freddy in sight, which isn't too hard once you have a rough idea of where he goes. Loc will shoot him. Eventually he'll stop, get off and shoot him. Take OG loc to his new job. You can now get missions from him. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.13 - Running Dog -------------------------------------------------------- Get in Smoke's car and drive him to his destination. A cut scene will play showing him having an argument with some Mexican dudes then knocking one out with a baseball bat. It's your job to chase and kill the other guy who ran off. Sprint after him and shoot him, if he manages to escape he will get in a car, so jack a car and chase him. However, things can get a bit messy if this turns into a full scale chase, so killing him before he makes it to the car is usually the best option. If not, ram him until he comes out then shoot him, taking his money and cash. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.14 - Wrong Side of the Tracks -------------------------------------------------------- Drive Big Smoke to the train station. Hop on the Sanchez as the train speeds off. You are supposed to drive on the opposite tracks but it is advised of you to drive just right of it, this way you wont have to dodge oncoming trains and other obstacles. This will also allow Big Smoke to get a better angle for shooting. Keep up with the front carriage, or just slightly ahead of the person Smoke is shooting at, don't go too far ahead of it and don't lag too far behind it. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.15 - Just Business -------------------------------------------------------- This is a very fun mission. Take Big Smoke to the mall downtown, he'll need your help so get in there and shoot all the gang members. Hide behind the ledge/pop plant. Aim, get out, take a shot, crouch, hide, repeat until Big Smoke runs forward and asks you to cover him. Shoot the rest of the people, take their money/guns as you go. If you are facing the fountain, go forward to the opposite wall, then go right, there should be some body armour there, get it because you'll definately be needing it soon. Follow Big Smoke outside, there will be more people there. Duck and shoot. Once again take their money/guns as you go. A short cut scene will play showing you and Smoke getting on a bike, for once he is driving and you are shooting. Use the analogue stick to aim and L1 or O to fire. Try and shoot the drivers of the bikes chasing you so the bike will crash, if not just shoot out their tires. You will be chased by a truck, don't bother shooting it. You will then approach a roadblock, shoot the car until it explodes and it should take out the surrounding gang members. Then you will go through the sewer tunnels. Just keep shooting the bikes as soon as you see them so they don't shoot you too much, then shoot the cars when they come, once a car is on fire stop shooting at it and let it explode. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.16 - Life’s A Beach -------------------------------------------------------- Attend the beach party. Go up to the DJ and respond positively, using the right arrow on the d-pad. This is sort of a spin off from the low rider mission. Instead of using the analogue stick you use the action keys. Just focus on the circle and don't look at your controller or at CJ. You must get a score of over 4000 to get access to the sound van. When you do, get in it and drive off. Some people will be following you and others will be shooting at you so try and lose them ASAP, but don't crash the van under any circumstances. Drive back to the lockup to complete the mission. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.17 - Madd Dogg’s Rhymes -------------------------------------------------------- Go to his mansion in the hills, it's pretty far away and is quite difficult to get to using a car. I suggest a Sanchez or a BMX and working your way up the steep hills, then across the grassland. Once you get there you are will be told to enter via the back so go around the back way. The aim of this mission is to get the rhyme book from the mansion, which is surrounded by guards. The catch is you can only use a knife on your way in. The first guard will have his back to you so press L3 to crouch then sneak up behind him, press R1 then O to slash his throat. The next guard is circling the pool, going around anti-clockwise, try to keep to the shadows and move slowly. A guard is coming! Go to the corridor on your left and hide in the shadows, turn around and watch the door. When he walks past go out, turn right then slash his throat. Now sneak back and kill the guard near the pool. Now you have to sneak below the bar, crouch and move when the bartender turns around. Once you get past him continue and sneak past a guy playing a video game. Go down the corridor, then turn left into a dark room. Get the body armour and continue forward. Kill the guard, get the rhyme book then run. Kill the guard coming towards you and take his silenced pistol. Try to stay near the shadows to avoid gunfire. Go straight to the exit, killing guards as you go. Once you get out, there will be a mountain bike near you. Get on it and go back to OG Loc. You will then get a call from Tenpenny. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.18 - Management Issues -------------------------------------------------------- Madd Dog's manager has been trying to sabotage OG's music career. It is your job to take him out. He is at a Burger Shop across town. When you get there OG will call you telling you that Scipio (his manager) is leaving. You will be told to ram his car until he gets out. However, if you do this you will have to get it resprayed which will waste time. So get on a motorbike and just park it in front of his car. Then just open his car as if you were just jacking any car, he will shoot at you so just drive off. Make sure you drive carefully or you'll have to get your car re-sprayed. Get to the meet before 10PM. Park, facing the same way as the other cars. While the ceremony happens, make sure you remain in between the two cars, don't go ahead of the first car and don't lag behind the second. A cut scene will play showing him and his girlfriend get into your car. Floor it and go as fast as you can to the pier which will be marked on your radar. Press Triangle to exit the car leaving him and his girlfriend go flying off the pier into no return. Reward: Respect + You'll be told to get some new clothes, but you don't have to. You'll get a call from OG Loc at 8PM. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.19 - House Party -------------------------------------------------------- Go to the hood and then attend OG Loc's party. A cut scene will show OG and his horrid rapping. Then the Ballas crash the party. First they come in cars, hide behind a car and pick them off, keep an eye on your health. Pick up their guns once they die. A second wave of Ballas will come on the Bridge just above you. Shoot them, there should only be 3-5 of them up there anyway. Then the way will come from your left (if you are facing the bridge and have OG's crib on your right.) First shoot the one's in Ryder's front yard, then jump up on his fence and shoot the one's which come through the lane way. They will then come from the opposite laneway. Get cover behind Ryder's fence and shoot them. Having a higher pistol skill will be a great help here, as well as some body armour. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.20 - Burning Desire -------------------------------------------------------- Side Note: I recommend getting to level 12 of the fire fighter missions before doing this mission because if you do you will be fireproof which will be a great help to you. Officer Tenpenny will want to see you. Go to the donut place where he tells you to get some Molotov cocktails which he left for you in a laneway across town. Get the cocktails then go to the house marked on your radar. There will be some people outside the house when you arrive, shoot them then go around the side of the house and shoot the rest of them. Now go to the first window and throw a cocktail through it. Holding down circle longer will make you through the cocktail further. Through them through all 5 downstairs windows then you will be informed that there is a girl trapped upstairs. Rush inside the house and collect a fire extinguisher from the kitchen. Then go upstairs and find the girl. Use the extinguisher by holding R1 and moving the analogue stick left or right to aim. Hold down circle to extinguish. Make your way downstairs and towards the front door, don't stand too close to the fires. Once you are both outside you will learn that she is from Grove Street, take her back to her house to complete the mission. Denise will now become your first girlfriend. You can take her on a date by visiting her house when she is home. Check one of the girlfriend FAQ's for tips about dating and availability times etc.. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.21 - Doberman -------------------------------------------------------- This will introduced you to Ammu-Nation, one of the main gun stores in San Andreas. It will also introduce you to the idea of capturing/defending territories. Get some guns from Ammu-Nation then go to Glen Park. Shoot 2-3 Ballas to initiate a gang war. To take over a gang war you must survive 3 waves. Each wave gets harder. The first wave is pretty simple, shoot all the Ballas by taking cover behind the fence. Take there guns/money as the second wave approaches. Random health/armour packs will spawn on the streets, pick one up if you're low on health/armour. Shoot the second waves and take their guns/money, repeat this process for the third wave. Learn the concept of controlling territory with the messages that follow, then kill the guy who tries to run off, to pass the mission. Award: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.22 - Gray Imports -------------------------------------------------------- See Tenpenny at the burger place then go to the docks. There will be lots of people there so kill them. Try and take cover behind something and shoot. Some people will try to run you over with there forklifts so just move out of the way then shoot the driver. There will be orange barrels, stand a fair distance away and use manual aim to shoot them. They will explode killing the guards next to them. There's some body armour in a nearby ledge to your right. Shoot the control panel to let yourself in like in "Robbing Uncle Sam." Shoot the guards that come out and head forward. This bit is sort of like a maze of crates, keep going through it and shoot guards as they come towards you. There is a health pack somewhere so get it when you find it. One you get to a big open area, take out the guards around it and head up the stairs. Keep shooting people and going upstairs and you will eventually see the Russian dealer. He will flee so jump on the bike and chase him, press L1 to shoot at his car, keep shooting it until it catches on fire, then back off a bit to make sure you don't die in the explosion. Award: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.23 - Los Sepulcros -------------------------------------------------------- Now it's time to recruit some homies so you can form a gang, they will follow you around. First, good up to some one from your hood and press R1 to target them. Then press up on the d-pad to recruit them for your gang. Get in a car and they will follow. Drive to the cemetery in under 4 minutes. Jump over the wall. Kane will arrive and run off, so chase him and shoot anyone in your way, don't worry about your gang, they don't do anything anyway. Chase him down and kill him them kill off and people who you haven't yet killed. You will be a wanted level 2 so get in a car with Sweet and your gang and get to a Pay 'n Spray. Award: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.24 - High Stakes, Low-Rider -------------------------------------------------------- Get a low rider (a car with hydraulics), they are spread all over the city so it won't be too hard to find one. It doesn't really matter which one you use. If you are struggling with this race, go to a car modification garage before hand and add some NOS to your ride. Then go to the CV icon on your map. Follow Cesar to the race and park on the starting grid. Go towards the first checkpoint, look at it and it should have an arrow in it direction you to where the next checkpoint is. Go slowly and let the other cars crash and spin off the road. If you go too fast you will crash and lose, so take your time and avoid pitting other cars on the road. If you can't get past a car, use L2/R2 to shoot it until it swerves off the road. Speed up on the straights and go slowly around the bends. Once you get to the pier, press 0 to activate the NOS and head for the final marker, if you win you will get $1000. Award: Respect + and $1000. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.25 - Reuniting the Families -------------------------------------------------------- Take your gang down to the meeting at the hotel. The SWAT will come and crash the party. Quickly run inside the building to your left. Go up the stairs towards the first hallway, a SWAT person will jump out so shoot him. Go down the next hallway as another SWAT member will come out and be shooting at you. Duck in one of the side rooms, take some shoots, duck back in. Keep doing this until you clear the hallway. Some SWAT members will come out through the air conditioning system, so shoot them. Turn left up the stairs and get the body armour. Then hide behind the wall, jump out in the hall way, shoot and jump back. Keep doing this until you clear the hall way. Now go into the room on the right, killing any remaining SWAT members. Here you will find Sweet and he will take you up to the roof. Shoot all the people on the helicopter while hiding behind the air vents. Then shoot the helicopter until it catches on fire. Follow Sweet across the roof until you get to the ground where Ryder and Big Smoke will be waiting for you in a car. You are the gun man, just like in the mission "Just Business." Shoot all the cops that chase you and watch out for the ones on motorbikes who jump onto your car. Award: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.26 - The Green Sabre -------------------------------------------------------- You will get a call from Cesar, go to his car in the alley way and watch what happens. You will then have to go and save Sweet, when you get there, run over as many Ballas as possible then ram their car, when your car catches fire, jump out and join Sweet. You are being shot at so shoot everyone with a red arrow over there head. Another van full of Ballas will arrive, so shoot it while it's driving up until it explodes. When it does it should kill most of the people in it. If you see any survivors, kill them too. The cops will bust you. You will now leave Los Santos. -------------------------------------------------------- Angel Pine -------------------------------------------------------- You will be dropped off in the middle of no where. Go to the nearby Ammu-Nation and buy some guns because the cops took all your other guns. Go to the trailer park and save your game. Then head towards the C.R.A.S.H icon. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.27 - Badlands -------------------------------------------------------- Jump on the Sanchez and go to the icon on your radar. Then follow the mountain trail up to the guy's house. Check your map regularly to make sure you don't get lost in this new area. When you reach his cabin, pick off the FBI guards from a distance. (3-4 of them) The informat will drive off in a car so jump on the motorbike next to his house and give chase. Shoot him until his car exploded and then kill him. If you run out of bullets (like I did) then ram his car off the cliff and it will most likely blow up, when he gets out, run him over. Get out your camera and take about 2 photos of his corps. Take them to the marker on your radar. You will be called twice, so head to the '?' icon on your radar. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.28 - First Date -------------------------------------------------------- You will be introduced to Catlina. Take her to the nearest $ icon on your radar. Side Note: A few of the Catlina missions are just cut scenes, then you need to take her to one of the four '$' icons on your map. You can do them in any order as long as you do them all eventually. I will list them in the order I did them. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.29 - Tanker Commander -------------------------------------------------------- Get in the cab and reverse to attach the tanker. Make sure it doesn't disconnect or you will fail the mission. Two guys will chase you so lose them or get out and shoot them (being careful the explosion doesn't blow up the tanker.) Now drive the tanker to the depot safely. Award: $5000 Unlocked Trucking Side Missions New Shotgun Challenge at Ammu-Nation Respect + You will get a phone call from the truth, got to his place. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.30 - Body Harvest -------------------------------------------------------- Drive to the farm where you will be told not to trespass. Ignore the farmers and drive in running a few over. Get out and shoot a few, then get back in and drive a bit further. If they get close to you get out and shoot them. Head towards the field and highjack the harvester. Once you get in it, head back towards the entrance, running over all the farmers in your way. Just ignore the people who chase you and take the harvester back to The Truth. You will get a call from Cesar. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.31 - King in Exile -------------------------------------------------------- Another cut scene where Cesar will deliver some more shocking news. Apparently Big Smoke is a dealer and has been double crossing you. Go to visit Catlina up in her lodge. Save the game outside her house when you get there. Then get the shovel from the left (if you are facing her house) and go into the mission marker. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.32 - First Base -------------------------------------------------------- Catlina will want you to aid her in another robbery. Head to anyone of the $ icons. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.33 - Against All Odds -------------------------------------------------------- Go to the betting store. You will be given some satchel charges which can be used by pressing 0 to throw them, then by switching to the detonator you can make them explode. Go a bit to your right and you will see a door, place 2-3 satchels on it then go to the opposite corner of the store. Switch to the detonator and the door will be blown off. Now go in the room and but 2-3 satchels on the safe. Again go to the furthest away corner of the shop and detonate the explosives. You will be a 4 star wanted level, get a re-spray ASAP then take her back to her lodge. Award: $2000. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.34 - Gone Courting -------------------------------------------------------- Watch the cut scene, head towards one of the two remaining $ icons. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.35 - Small Town Bank -------------------------------------------------------- You will be told to make sure the people keep their hands up by aiming at one of them, but it's easier if you just shoot them all and take there money. Smash up the 3 ATM's and collect the money they drop. You will be a wanted level 3, follow Catlina outside. Looks like the cops have found you. Shoot them and follow Catlina as you go, take there weapons and keep going forward, remembering to take cover where you can. Be wary of snipers. Some cops will come on there bikes so shoot them and take there bikes. Follow her and after a while, a cut scene will play showing the cops surround her. Drive up next to her, she will get on so then drive off. Take her back to her lodge. Award: $10000. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.36 - Made in Heaven -------------------------------------------------------- Another cut scene, watch it then take her to the final $ icon on your radar. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.37 - Local Liquor Store -------------------------------------------------------- This is the last one of Catlina's missions. Go to the liquor store, when you get there some farmers have beat you to it and robbed the place, get on a quad bike and chase them. Get close to them and Catlina will shoot at them, when they die they will drop a briefcase full of money. It says to pick up each briefcase, but kill them all first, then pick up all the briefcases at the end or you will lose them. Take Catlina back to the lodge and you will get $1000. You will now need to get a fast car and meet Cesar, use the Buffalo (next to Catlina's house.) then go and meet Cesar. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.38 - Wu Zi Mu -------------------------------------------------------- This is another one of Cesar's races. Stick close to other drivers and try not to spin out. Try to spin out other cars by ramming them sharply in one side, but without spinning yourself out. Don't go off cliffs or go to fast around corners. Speed up on the straights. It's a bumpy course so think up every thing you can do to lose you opponents. Ram them off cliffs, shoot there tires, cut them off. Once you win the race head towards the marker. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.39 - Farewell, My Love… -------------------------------------------------------- Catalina and her friends challenge you to a race. It's the course from the Wu Zi Mu mission, just in reverse. Just use the same tactics for the other races, spin out opponents, shoot out tyres, speed up on the straights etc.. When you win a cut scene of Catlina going to Liberty city with Fido (guy from GTA III) will play. You'll be called by The Truth. Meet him at his hideout. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.40 - Are You Going To San Fierro? -------------------------------------------------------- Use the flamethrower to burn the weed crops before the cops get there. The crops are marked on your map so make sure you destroy all of them. Burn them 'till they go black and then move on to another section. Start at the closest crops, and work your way further and further through the crop fields. Don't miss a single plant, otherwise you'll waste time doubling back. Once you have done this, go and see Truth who is in his van. He'll give you a rocket launcher, use it to shoot down the chopper that comes after you. Get in the "mothership" and drive to San Fierro. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.41 - Wear Flowers In Your Hair -------------------------------------------------------- This is a simple driving mission to get you used to San Fierro. Drive around town and pick up some people, making sure you don't trash the van with any reckless driving. You will then get calls from Zero and Cesar. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.42 - SSS We Tip -------------------------------------------------------- Go to the hotel. Follow the valet. He will stop in the car park, kill him and take his clothes, money and guns. Go to the front of the hotel in the valet uniform. Wait for the DA to arrive and get to his car before the other valets. Take the car to the garage and have the drugs planted. Drive carefully back to the hotel car park, then run out and make an anonymous call tipping off the police. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.43 - Deconstruction -------------------------------------------------------- Go to the construction site, grab a bull dozer and some builders will chase you. Get out an shoot them. More will come so shoot them too. Get back in the bulldozer and run over the portables (marked on your radar in green). Be careful of the portables which have orange barrels next to them, if you run over the orange barrels, you will die. More builders will come so get out and shoot them, or run them over. After you have run over all the portables, then ram the guy in the portable, into the hole. Get into the cement truck and back in up into the orange marker. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.44 - Photo Opportunity -------------------------------------------------------- Meet Cesar. Get in his car and go to Angel Pine. Go up onto the roof to get a good vantage point. You need to Photograph the FACES of 4 people. The first two will come from the alleyway, so zoom in and get a photo of both their faces. Next some people will come from your right. You have to be very quick because they will come out of there car, face you, then turn around. So zoom in on there car as it approaches, then as soon as they get out, get a photo of their faces. Jack a vehicle and head back to San Fierro. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.45 - Jizzy -------------------------------------------------------- Go to the pleasure dome and meet Jizzy. Get in the pimp-mobile and drop his girl off. You’ll then have two minutes to do an assassination in the southwest of town. Get over there quickly and kill the guy. But don't kill the girl next to him. Jizzy's girl is being beaten up, get there quickly and save her before her health reaches zero. Kill the two men then go back to the hotel where you dropped off the first girl. A preacher will collect her, and take her in his limousine, along with a bodyguard in the jeep behind him. Give chase and use the shoulder buttons to shoot them, also ram them now and then. When you have destroyed the limo and his bodyguard you'll be a wanted level 2, get a respray and you'll bag $3000. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.46 - T-Bone Mendez -------------------------------------------------------- Grab a car and go to the ambushed car location. 4 guys will drive off with packages. It's your job to get the packages off them. You don't need to shoot them, just get up next to them and press L1 to snatch the parcel off them. If that fails, ram them sending them flying off their bikes. Shoot them and take the package they drop. Repeat this for all 4 bikers. Return the packages to the club and you'll bag $5000. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.47 - Mike Toreno -------------------------------------------------------- Mike is trapped in the back of the van. He'll give you hints as to where he is. The first location is the building site next to your garage. Go there and you'll be told to go to the docks. When you get there get to the airport ASAP. This is where the tracker kicks in, the closer you are to him, the bigger the signal, if you go further away from him, the signal will get lower. Go right and up onto the runway area. Chase them onto the runway and they will eventually stop. Run as many of them over as you can then get out and shoot the rest. Take out your rocket launcher which should still have some rockets left in it from the "Are You going to San Fierro?" mission and blast the truck. When it explodes, take the limo and get Toreno and Jizzy to safety. As you leave the airport, you'll get a wanted level 3. Get to a Pay 'n Spray to lose the cops then take Jizzy back to the club. You'll get $7000. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.51 - Outrider -------------------------------------------------------- Meet T-Bone at the gas station on the outside of town. Toreno will show up, take them to the shipment where they will tell you to make sure the goods don't get damaged. Your job is to escort the goods on a motorbike, riding ahead of it and destroying any roadblocks that get in the way. Pick up the sniper rifle and rocket launcher and jump on the bike. Head towards the first road block. The first roadblock has some people with cars behind them. Stay your distance and use the rocket launcher to blow up the cars, they explosion will kill the men in front of it. One rocket per car should do it. Jump on your bike and head towards the next roadblock. This time there are also snipers in the nearby windows. Use the same procedure with the rockets, then run up near the cars and shoot down the snipers (3-5). Jump back on your bike and head towards the second last roadblock. Repeat the procedure mentioned before with the rockets and snipers. Jump on your bike and race towards the final roadblock, blow up the cars and kill the men before the van arrives. Escort the van to the lock up and get $9000. The cops are also onto you, so get a respray and save your game. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.52 - Snail Trail -------------------------------------------------------- Collect the rifle Tenpenny hid for you in the construction site. Run to the station and jump on the Sanchez which spawns there. Follow the train, DO NOT kill the person on to of it....yet. It's a long journey so just keep at the same speed and go on the same tracks as it's going on. When you arrive at the station, back up a bit and let the guy get off. Staying on your motorbike, edge up the stairs and go towards him. He will start to move, reverse a bit so he can't see you. You will have a "spook-o-meter" on your screen. If it reaches full, the reporter will abort the interview and you fail the mission. Stay out of site so it doesn't reach full. He will head up the stairs, and disappear. SLOWLY edge towards the stairs (still on the Sanchez) and follow him. If the spook-o-meter starts to raise, back up quickly and stay a good distance before it fills up. He will wait on the sidewalk. At this time you should be halfway up the staircase. When he gets in a cab, slowly edge up onto the footpath. Stay your distance, but if you go too far away, you will lose him. He will go down a pier. Wait a minute, then go halfway down the Pier. Take out the sniper rifle Tenpenny gave to you and zoom in as much as you can. Shoot the reporter and the informat. Aim for there heads but if you miss, they will split, if they do, change to a SMG and give chase, shoot them down then make the long journey back to San Fierro. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.53 - Ice Cold Killa -------------------------------------------------------- Get to the pleasure dome, you'll be told by the guards to get lost so you must go onto the roof and enter via the skylight, first, shoot out the tires of the pimp-mobile, then jack the limo and drive to the bridge, go past about two sets of barriers (you can just jump over them or drive around them), go past his roof, then a bit past one of the pillars on the bridge, adjust the camera angle and you should see a red platform, jump onto it, follow it in the direction of Jizzy's club until you are just above the skylight. Go right to the middle of it (where it arcs up), then jump, remember to tap SQUARE while you are falling in order to break your fall, if you do this right you wont lose any health, go to the marker. You will now be in Jizzy's club, do a 180 degree turn and walk off the edge of the platform, if you have done this right you will land right on Jizzy and a cut scene will play. Shoot the guards, taking their guns/money as you go, once you kill them, Jizzy will make a run for it, luckily you have all ready shot the tires out of his car so he wont be getting far, jump in the limo, ram him a few times then shoot the car untill it explodes, Jizzy will get out so kill him and take his phone. Reward: $12000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.54 - Mountain Cloud Boys -------------------------------------------------------- Escort Woozie to the meeting around the block. You’ll be attacked. Take cover behind something and pick them off one by one. Once they're dead, run towards the street. Some more people will come, shoot there car and it will blow up, shoot the sniper and head for the street, get in the car and Woozie will shoot. He's blind and not the best shot so help him destroy the cars by ramming them and shooting them yourself. When they catch fire, go a safe distance away then take Wu home. Reward: $5000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.56 - Ran Fa Li -------------------------------------------------------- Go to the airport, go to the underground car park, making sure to check your radar so you don't get lost. When you see the car, get in and you'll find out it was an ambush. Vietnamese gang members will start shooting at you so make sure you park the car in a safe place (behind a pole) then get out and start shooting them. Once you have killed them, blow up their van and walk past. The idea of this mission is to return the car, but if you drive the car out, it will be shot to pieces and you will fail the mission. So what you need to do is go a bit up the route, kill the people waiting there, go back, move the car forward a bit then go back up the route and kill some more people. This way the car will stay in one piece. So once you have taken care of the first group, go a bit up the road and you'll see a guy waiting. Hide behind something and start shooting, he's an easy target so he wont take many bullets. Take his guns/money as you go past and continue up the route. If you look up a bit you will see a huge van parked across the path with some Vietnamese guys standing next to it. Jack a nearby car and do a drive-by on it, running over the people as you go, then shoot their van until it exploded and that will kill any survivors. Continue up the road a fair way and you will see an intersection with two motorbikes on either side. Shoot at one from a distance and they will come towards you, there are two people on each bike so make sure you keep an eye on both. Shoot them as they come, doing your best to avoid their gunfire. Once you do this the hardest part of the mission is over. Now grab one of their bikes, ride back to where you left the car and get in it. Now just drive back to the place, an odd truck may follow you, but they can be lost easily. If you start to lose some health on the car, get it resprayed to refill it's health. Reward: $6000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.57 - Lure -------------------------------------------------------- You’ll be luring some Vietnamese spies out to the country and away from Ran as a decoy. Get in the jeep outside and drive to the marker outside the city. Now, you must complete a country driving race, where you go through checkpoints but can't let the Vietnamese spies damage your car. If they do, don't let them go along side you or they'll see you're a decoy and you will fail the mission. Run them over/shoot them to make it easier. Try to avoid flipping the car and you should be fine. Take the jeep back to the filling station to pass the mission. Reward: $8000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.58 - Amphibious Assault -------------------------------------------------------- Note: You will probably be told to get more practice swimming and to increase your lung capacity. Ideally you'd want to get if full but to actually attempt the mission you only need it about 1/2 full like I did. The higher your lung capacity, the easier the mission will be. Jump in a nearby lake/sea and start swimming. Press L1 while in the water to check your lung capacity. Make your way to the Esplanade North docks. You’ll jump in and must follow the course of red markers that are underwater. Take regular breaths by surfacing, but only when it's safe to do so. Don't let your oxygen reach zero or you'll start losing health and eventually die. After going through a few tunnels and rock pools, you'll be in a huge bay surrounded by guards. If they see you moving on the surface or their torches land on you, they will start shooting and only stop once you go back underwater. So this is what to do, dive under and head towards the marker. When your oxygen gets low, surface but stay still. If a bright light shines on you quickly go back underwater and it will pass over you. Once you get to the boat, climb in and absorb your surrounding. The aim of this mission is to plant the chip at the other end of the ship, but you can only use a knife. Use the tactics you learnt in Madd Dogg's Rhyme's mission. ( Press L3 to crouch and then sneak up behind a guard. When you are close to them but not touching them press R1 to hold the knife in the air, then press O to knife them.) Go around to your left and knife the guard with his back to you. Head along this path between the containers and knife any guards that you see. Luckily most have their back to you. Some will give chase so don't muck around because they have guns and you can lose health easily. Keep heading towards the front of the ship, eventually you'll get there and see a guard strolling around. Knife him and any other guards that you see. Make your way down into the bottom of the ship and plant the bug where instructed, as long as the guard down the hall doesn’t see you. Knife him if he does. Plant the bug by pressing triangle, then go upstairs and get off the ship. Swim back to the docks to finish the mission. Reward: $11,000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.59 - The Da Nang Thang -------------------------------------------------------- You’ll ride shotgun in a chopper, you'll fly past a big ship, your aim is to shoot the men on the ship, shoot as many as you can by pressing L1, don't worry too much about it though. You're helicopter will be shot down by a RPG and you will survive, the trick is you've lost all your weapons except for your handy- dandy blade. Swim up to the ship and get on board. Keep killing guards and make your way towards the checkpoints. It's a bit like the mission Gray Imports, where you weave your way through rows and rows of boxes, with guards behind every corner. Just knife the guards as you go, make sure to take their guns and money because you'll need it. Once you get to the part with the refugees, kill all the guards that you can see, try not to lose too much health because there are a few more things to do before you complete the mission. The refugees are trapped in a crate so shoot the lock on it to open it and free them. Climb up the stairs and to the storage area. There will be an old guy waiting for you with a katana, wanting to fight. A few swift blows to the head with the katana will kill him. Go back to the refugees then escape on the boat. You will receive $15000 for beating this mission. The next mission involves the use of many guns, but seeing as though you lost them all in the last mission, it's time to go to good old Ammu-Nation and stock up. Also get some body armour and improve your shooting skills while you're at it. Head to the docks to meet Cesar. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.60 - Pier 69 -------------------------------------------------------- Cesar is on the roof, walk back up the street and turn left up a set of stairs. Climb up them then walk over to Cesar who is on the edge of the roof waiting for you. Take the sniper rifle he gives you and start shooting at the men on the top of the buildings across the street. Don't take too long or they'll kill Wu's men and you will fail the mission. There are about 3 groups of men, once they have all been shot, Toreno will show up, see the dead bodies and try to do a runner. Go back down the stairs and across the road to the pier. Don't go too far from Cesar or you'll have to go back for him. High-jack a car and run over the men who will come running out at you, quickly get out of the car and go left up the stair case. Shoot the men there and the one's below you. Keep doing this, slowly making your way down the pier and making sure you don't leave Cesar behind. When you get to the end, Toreno will be marked with a red arrow and try to run off when he sees you. shoot him and a cut-scene will play of Ryder flipping you off then jumping into the river and getting on a boat. Jump in after him and swim to the other boat, chase Ryder and do a drive by on him. If you run out of bullets, keep chasing him until he goes under the bridge and tries to do a 360 turn near the shore. Ram his boat into the coastline and keep doing this until the boat starts having flames come out of it. Get to a safe distance away and the boat will explode. Now drive back to the shore, you have passed the mission and now have $15000. Don't make the mistake I did and accidentally went into undiscovered areas, you will get a wanted level 5 and be killed within 15 seconds. Cesar needs you back at the garage, go back their to receive your next mission. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.61 - Toreno’s Last Flight -------------------------------------------------------- Go to the heli-pad and try to stop Toreno, kill the men in the alley and climb up the stairs, he'll fly away just as you get to the top of the stairs. You can just shoot the guards with Toreno on the chopper if you are quick. Kill the guards around the heli-pad and take the Rocket Launcher. Jump down back into the street and get on the motorbike. You'll have a wanted level so make a detour to the Pay 'n Spray. It will take longer but make the mission easier without the cops on your tail. Get on the highway, ignore the chopper and go as fast as you can to the end of the highway, where there will be dirt roads and trees. Get off your bike and get out your rocket launcher. Face the direction of Toreno and get ready. When you see him coming, really far in the distance, aim and fire, if you're a good shot your would have taken some health off the chopper. As it gets closer, keep shooting. If you haven't all ready turned it into a fireball by the time he is right over your head, take a shot and him, if you get a direct hit it will come falling down in a blaze of fire. Mission passed. Reward: $18000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.62 - Yay Ka-Boom-Boom -------------------------------------------------------- Pick up the rigged car from the bomb shop. Drive it to the factory. Shoot the guards on the outside to open the gate. If the car gets blown up, you fail the mission. Use a similar tactic to that of the one I mentioned in the "Ran Fa Li" mission where you go on foot, clean the place out (kill everyone) then go back and drive the car to it's destination without the fear of it being blown up. Shoot all the guards and make your way to the building, kill everyone in there. Arm the bomb then run out as fast as you can. The gates are locked, kill anyone left then drive the car up through the building and out over the ramp. Return the car to the gas station to complete the mission. Reward: $25000 You will get an anonymous call from a mysterious man (Toreno) head towards the '?' on your radar, save your game before doing so. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.63 - Monster -------------------------------------------------------- Get in the monster car. This is like previous races in the countryside, but your only opponent is the clock. Take is safely, don't go too fast and take too many risks or you will crash or flip the vehicle. If you just go steadily, at a reasonable speed, you should make it with a few seconds to spare. Reward: $2000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.64 - Highjack -------------------------------------------------------- Get on the motorbike and taker Cesar to the freeway, draw along side the oil tanker. Hold it there, just to the left of the vehicle, staying at the same speed as it so Cesar can jump onto it. Get in when it stops and drive it to the gas station in San Fierro. Reward: $7000 Complete driving school if you haven't all ready done so. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.65 - Interdiction -------------------------------------------------------- Get a good car or use the buggy and take your time driving out to the desert. There aint much to hit, but there also aint to many replacement cars in the middle of no where if you accidently crash or something. Make your way up to the mountain. Once you have planted your signal flare, some choppers will be coming towards you, whip out your rocket launcher and take them down, try to make precise shots rather than blazing away, sending rockets everywhere. Once this task has been completed, the package will be dropped and now you have to return it to the abandoned town. Make sure you keep your vehicle too because otherwise it's a long way back. Reward: $1000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.66 - Verdant Meadows -------------------------------------------------------- You'll now need to purchase an airstrip, which will allow you access to Flying School. The only bummer is that you have to beat all of the missions in Flying School before you continue your progress in the game. Buy it for $80,000, save your game and go upstairs. Walk into the room and go up to the orage glow, you will need to go here each time you want to access a mission in flying school. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.67 - Learning to Fly -------------------------------------------------------- One of the toughest schools in the game, but one you must do to progress with the main story missions. I won't write up a whole guide on each individual mission because there are plenty of other guides, all I will tell you are some general tips. 1. Often flying in 1st person view can be useful. 2. Many missions take numerous attempts, don't give up. 3. Maxing out your flying skill before hand by stealing a plane and flying it around is a great help. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.68 - N.O.E. -------------------------------------------------------- This can be a hard mission, but if you follow my instructions carefully, I'll show you how to make it a piece of cake. Not literally of course, but there's a far easier way of doing it than you would first try. Thankfully, time is not an issue at all, you have 10 minutes to go to the drop off point, and return. Going straight over will give you several spare minutes, but you'll still be able to have an easy time if you take the scenic route. Since it's a bit hard to explain the directions, please copy and paste the following references into the bar at the top of your browser:- On the way there: http://img92.imageshack.us/img92/3401/howtogetthere0ot.jpg On the way back: http://img92.imageshack.us/img92/4466/howtogetback6cm.jpg As you can see, all you really need to do is stick to the sea. There will be no trees to dodge, so you can easily fly just above sea level and not even worry about the height radar. However, be carefull that when you need to go over a bridge or something, quickly rise over it by pulling back on the left analog stick, then once over, quickly dive back down to an acceptable level above ground so you don't have four military planes on your tail trying to shoot you down. If you don't follow my guide exactly and get a message telling you that you're in restricted air space, make a sharp turn and keep an eye out for planes coming at you. Also try to make some random sharp turns and dives in case they send a missle at you. However, if you follow my exact path then you have nothing to worry about. On the way there, on the loop around when you go over land, it will prompt you about going through a corona to initiate the drop, adjust the camera angle so it is in view and then make sure you go through it and pull back around towards sea. Check your in-game map to see if you've got it, if you have then you will now see a yellow blip on the air strip from where you took off. On the way back, follow my map closely and you should just be flying easily over the sea for most of it. However, because the game relies on streaming technology, entire land forms may only appear seconds before you reach them, so keep a close eye out for bridges and other objects which may seem to jump out at you from no where. One small clip of the plane will cause it to start smoking, and throw the balance of it off a bit, but you should still be able to bring it home with some patience. However, another impact will cause it to explode and kill you. When you near the airstrip, you'll get a message telling you to land anywhere on the airstrip. AS soon as you see the airstrip in the distance, press [] and start to lower the plane down, then hit R3 to put the wheels back out, which you hopefully retracted when you took off. As long as you land anywhere on the airstrip you'll be fine, but be careful of other obstacles as you don't want to have flown this carefully and end up killing yourself 5 seconds from beating the mission. As soon as you land you'll complete the mission. Reward: $15,000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.69 - Stowaway -------------------------------------------------------- This is quite an interesting mission, the cut-scence will explain everything story wise, so I'll just help you out with exactly what you need to do. After the cut-scene finishes, you'll be on a motorbike and told that you need to get on the plane before it takes off, which logically is at the end of the air strip. There will be two cars, a box and some guys armed with guns in your way, but gaps in between them where you need to accelerate through. You will now see the plane, with a ramp hanging off the end, and barrels being rolled out. Pull up near it just to the left of the shaft, as if a barrel hits you, it will spin you out, causing you to miss the plane and fail the mission. So watch the pattern of barrels whilst pulling up right next to it, after one barrel goes, quickly touch you front wheel on the ramp and it will trigger the cut-scence of you getting on board. Now, you're on the left side of the plane, the middle is a hallway with barrels being rolled down it, and on the right side, and further up on the left are some dark cavities containing un-armed guards. While guns are an option here, I'd advise against it. One bullet which doesn't hit it's target will cause the entire plane to explode. The best method is to whip out your kantana and launch in Kill Bill style. Of course if you don't have one, another melee weapon such as a knife will do. I will now teach you a technique which you will use several times in this mission, that is to stand right on the edge of one side; in this case being the left, and adjust the camera angle with the right analog stick so you can see if and when the barrels are coming down the middle. Wait for a break in barrels, then run across to the right side, press R1 to lock in the target, then triangle and circle to slice him to pieces with the kantana, and then if you're close, add in some kung fu kicks. One down, few more to go, work your way up to the next guy in the left cavity, using the same technique to look for the barrels, and then the same technique to finish this guy off. Once again, move along the the plane, zig-zagging your way up the plane, killing anyone in your way. There may be two guys in a some cavities, so run across and quickly slash one, and take a few steps back if the other guy starts punching you immediately, then when he runs over towards you, slash him to pieces. Once you've disposed of them, walk right up to the front of the plane where there will be a guy wearing a parachute. Obviously you'll need to cut him up, killing him, making him drop the parachute. Pick up the parachute, drop a satchel charge on the plane, run to the end of the plane, and then jump off. The plane will go down in a dramatic flame. Wait until you pass the cloud line, and then open your parachute to drift slowly back down to earth and complete the mission. Reward: $20,000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.70 - Black Project -------------------------------------------------------- Let me start by saying this mission rocks. You may even want to create an extra save file for it so you can replay it at your leisure. You need to break into that restricted area of your map; Area 69. Not only that, but you need to steal the Black Project and return it to The Turth. As always you'll start with a wacky cut-scene involving the Truth, but thankfully he'll give you some supplies and drop you right outside. Ignore stealth. Stealth is of no use to you in this mission. You'll see guards patrolling the area, as well as search lights. Head straight into the complex with your silenced pistol, and kill anyone you can see. You can use your M4 if you want, but it's best to save it's ammo for the latter stages of this mission. Obviously by walking straight in with guns blazing, you're going to get noticed. However, this is exactly what you want. Once the entire place goes on lock down, the yellow blip will appear over a vent. Sprint over to it and shoot either grate, then jump down. There will be a health icon here, use it if you're health is depleted, but hopefully you'll only be down a bit of body armour and can come back for the health pick up when you really need it. At the end of the pipe their will be a grate. Punch it and it will break. Switch back to your M4 and kill all the guys near you using auto-aim. Pick up all the guns and money of the people you kill, as you might as well get some money and ammo while you're here. Watch your radar carefully. The red dots are guards, and the arrow points in the way they are facing. Use this information to try and approach them from behind, shooting them down before they spot you. Once you have cleared each area of guards, go back and pick up any body armour and health icons you see, which you passed over last time because you had it full. Keep heading towards the yellow blip, and once you get thier you'll face more guards. Repeat the aforementioned technique and crouch down, so you can roll out from behind cover, get in a few shots, then roll back behind something while you re-load. You'll reach a room with some body armour and a scientist, who offers you the key to the locked door if you stop the violence. Pick up the key, then kill him anyway. Stand in the circle to open the door. You're now at the top of the staircase. Shoot the guys in the four corners of the staircase, then take a few deep breathes, you're nearly there. Go to the edge and lean over, you'll see guards stationed at nearly every landing. Use manual aim to clear the path and shoot anyone you can see. Now run down the stairs, using auto-aim to kill anyone left. Don't coruch here or you'll end up shooting the railing and not actually the guard. When near the bottom, jump down and you'll see the black project, a JETPACK! Walk into it to put it on, and hold down 'X' to take off. Some guys on the staircase will be shooting at you, but you can still shoot them while on the jetpack. Now fly back to the top of the mountain where you'll meet the truth, who will take the jet pack and cause the completion of the mission. Mission Passed! You're very high up, but there's a sanchez you can use to get down to the road. If you're low on health, don't go for any insane jumps off the top of the mountain or you may end up dead. Go back to the airstrip and save your game. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.71 - Green Goo -------------------------------------------------------- You need to become proficient in using the jetpack, as you'll have to do quite a bit of manuvering for this mission. I actually suggest you start this mission, skip the cut-scene and just fly around, practise landing on cars and firing your gun While still hovering, as well as using the L2 and R2 buttons while in mid-air, Tapping them together to straighten out and so forth. After you have the hang of it, start the mission again and listen to your instructions. You need to fly to a train using the jetpack and get what they least want you to get. Go to the green blip on the radar, which will be the train. Constantly tap R1 as you approach to check to see if you're within range of shooting the guards on the train. When you are, engage in the balancing act of controlling the jet pack whilst shooting at all the guards on the train. Continue to work your way along the train and shoot anyone you can see. They're not heavily armed, so don't panic if you start getting shot at. Once the train is cleared you can begin looking for the Green Goo which will be in one of the boxes. After shooting everyone on the train, you should now be at the front so shoot each marked box, which you can auto-aim, and check to see if the green goo is there. There are three boxes on the train, and the last one should have the green goo in it. Pick up the jar of goo and fly back to the airfield. A cut-scene will show with you giving The Truth the goo. Reward: $20,000 The Airfield is now an asset, which generates money each day. It's a great place to stop by now and then after the next set of missions, so you can collect some revenue, save your game, pick up some body armor from the abandoned planes behind the abandoned AC tower and get your jetpack, as it spawns outside of the save house there. The savehouse also has a garage and a PCJ that spawns outside it, but you have probably noticed this all ready. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.72 - Fender Ketchup -------------------------------------------------------- You need to shake a gang member up a bit so he will squeel. He's strapped to the hood of your car, and there's a bar showing how scared he is. You need to get it full in order for him to talk. Driving at high speeds, sharp turns and insane jumps will rattle him, as well as driving on the footpath or down the wrong side of the road. What I did was to find a straight stretch, then speed up it, going down the wrong side of the road, made a sharp hand brake turn using R1 and then speed back down the other side of the road, making sharp hand brake turns. It will take a couple of minutes, but just keep doing this until his meter is full. A few things to note, stay away from the highway to avoid a 3 star wanted level, don't bother with insane jumps because you'll probably just kill him, and even though you're supposed to be driving recklessly, make sure you don't have a high speed, head on collision, otherwise you have a dead guy strapped to the front of your car. Once he's squeels, take him back to the casion. Reward: $5000 -------------------------------------------------------- 2.73 - Explosive Situation -------------------------------------------------------- There is no real preperation needed for this mission, but if you want to make it easy, make sure you have a rocket launcher, a powerfull auto-aiming machine gun, a maxed out Bike skill level and some practise body armour, the body armour is probably the least important thing out of the list, but it will be helpfull in case you fall off a high place a few times or get shot at a lot. Now, on with the mission. Looks like you need to blow some stuff up, but before you can do that you'll need a few sticks of dynamite. Drive towards the quary, doesn't matter if your car gets a bit smashed up on the way, because there will be three perfectly good cars right next to the quary. Activate the mission by walking into the radar, a cut-scene will play, telling you what you need to do. This is one of those missions which is hard if you just try and do it as the directions say, but if you take a bit of a detour so to speak, it will be dead easy. Get a car from the carpark, go back a bit and then go full speed over the edge, you should make it down the first three levels and then need to drive down off the last. Take your time, ignore the counter because I'm about to show you a handy glitch which will remove it. Go slightly left, and then straight. Shoot the workers near-by so they don't cause trouble later, you'll see a Sanchez resting against a wall, keep walking and you'll see two guys in suits talking, with the lever to make the dynamite blow next to them. Usually you would have to collect all of the dynamite in time, but simply walk up to both of them, whip out a SMG and blow their heads off, the timer will now disapear because there's no one to detonate it if you run out of time. Now it's a leisurely stroll back to where you started where you'll find a dumper truck. Before getting in it, kill anyone in the proximatey to avoid being heckled. Get in the dumper and drive over each box, going in an anti-clockwise direction. Next, park near the forklift, get out of the dumper and use manual aim to kill the guy driving in the forklift. Alternatively just jack it. Lower the prongs of the fork lift using the right anolog stick, then reverse a few metres clear so it's on the ground. Get back in the dumper and run it over, now get out of the dumper truck and run around to each crate of dynamite you smashed open and collect the dynamite. A cut-scene will trigger showing guards blocking all the entrances and an escape route via a near-by Sanchez. Hop on the Sanchez and wheel it back from the first marker so you have a bit of a run up at it. This is where you'll need to make a few jumps, often over large areas on narrow planks. They key is to make sure you're lined up, and then floor it so you definately make the jump. Ride up and full speed up the first one, land on the conveyor belt and carefully make your way along it, then turn right and drop down on the corragated roof. Take your time lining up, and go quickly along the conyeyor belt, jumping at the end over the gap. You'll encounter guards with pistols every few checkpoints, just get off your bike when you see one and take them out. Turn right and go up the stairs, then up the conveyor belt. Go up a few more dirt hills and you'll see two guards near a car. Shoot them and continue through each checkpoint. Once you've made it to the top, ride along the edge, then go right to the edge and look down. There will be several guards and two cars forming a roadblock. You don't need to kill them if you are following my guide, but it's good to anyway incase you fall down and need to go back up. Get out your rocket launcher, send 2-3 rockets towards the vans, this will blow them up and kill the guards. Get back on the bike and ride over the fence, then go along the road until you see Woozie, give him the dynamite to complete the mission. Reward: $7000 Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.74 - You’ve Had Your Chips -------------------------------------------------------- This is one of those missions where you'll find it hard if you simply run in firing powerful weapons, and repeatedly fail. However, if you use some tactics and follow a plan, you'll be able to complete it comfortably. First things first, go to Ammu-Nation and stock up on armour, as well as some heavy stuff such as a M4. While there, pick up about 12 satchel charges, you don't need that many, but if you throw some in the wrong spot, you can't move them so it's always good to have spares. Now, drive to the factory and you'll be told to sneak in. Park your car near the bus shelter, climb on to the roof of your car, and then jump onto the bus shelter and climb over the fence. You'll be told to sneak in, but there is no way of actually getting in without being spotted and triggering the cut-scence, so don't waste your time and just walk towards the front entrance of the factory. A car will pull up and everyone will start shooting at you. Kill the guys near the car before you go in, as you don't want to be constantly be shot in the back while you're in the middle of some heavy gun fire. Now, go to the right side of the entrance of the building and camp there. Before too long, guys will filter out, one by one. Gun them down using your M4. Because they're coming one at a time, you shouldn't have too much trouble disposing of them. The only problem is not all of them will just walk out into your path. Now it's time to enter the building. Note, when you tap R1, it will auto-aim at your nearest target, which can often be a chip machine. Do not, I repeat DO NOT waste your time shooting the machines, so as soon as you target one, switch targets to someone who is actually shooting at you. Walk around and clear out the whole area. Go around the entire factory several time to make sure there is absolutely no one left, as you don't want to be shot at when you think you're safe. Note, you can now go to Ammu-Nation and buy some armor, or even to a fast food outlet to replenish your health if you're running low. You'll only need to kill a few more people, but trust me, you don't want to risk blowing this mission after coming this far. After doing this, return to the factory. Once you're sure that you've gotten everyone, whip out the satchel charges. See those large white boxes around the room with green arrows over them? They're the chip machine you need to destroy. Stand about a metre away from each and hurl a satchel charge. If you do it right it will hit the machine and stick to it. If you miss, throw another one, you want to do this all in one swoop. Put a charge on each one, and after doing that, double check that they're all ready to be blown. Now exit the building so you're out of explosive range and hit the detonator. A few guys will appear near the car, switch back to the M4 and kill them. Exit through the gate and drive back to the casino. Reward: $10,000 Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.74 - Architectural Espionage -------------------------------------------------------- You need to get a picture of the blue prints of Caligula's Casino. First kill one of the tourists on the Strip, marked with red arrows by running them over in your car, then take their camera and head over towards the planning department, take care to switch to a fist and not to switch to a weapon, because security in the building is tight. Go up to the receptionist, you can reply positively or negativekly, using the right and left arrows of the D-pad respectivetly. Reply positively to everything she says and she will open the door. Go up the stairs, keep going until you reach the top level where you will be told to create a diversion because you can't get a snapshot of the prints while the guard is there. Go back down a level and punch the old air conditioner marked with a green arrow until it explodes, taking care not to walk into the flames. A cut scene will play showing people flee. Ignore them and make your way up to the top level once more and go into the room with the blueprints. Switch to the camera and stand on the other side of the room, opposite the prints. Press R1 to aim, and once you make sure you are including the entire prints in your picture, take the shot by pressing O. The guards are now after you, so switch to a M4 and make your way back down the stairs, being prepared for a guard at each landing. Press R1 around every corner so you can hopefully shoot most of them because they even get a shot in at you. They'll go down in a shot or two, but having body armour and max health will be helpful for this mission. Continue at your own pace, cleaning out the place, take their guns if you're running out of ammo and you'll soon be at the bottom of the stairs, with a door just in front of you. It's time to asses your options here. If you have a reasonable amount of health left, and some body armour, you could probably go through the door and shoot everyone there. However, if you are low on them, it's best to just go through the door, the sprint out of the building. There will be some cops here on your left, so face them and blast them with your M4. Quickly jack a ride and head back to Woozie's mansion to get the film developed, if you have some heat, it will vanish as soon as you trigger the cut-scene to end the mission. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.75 - Key To Her Heart -------------------------------------------------------- make your way to Caligula's Palace Casino. Go to the red circle when you get there and you'll see the Croupier leave work with her key card. You need to follow her home, staying far enough away to not spook her, and also not getting so far away that you lose her. A spook-0-meter will be on screen, so keep an eye on it. Also keep an eye on the red blip on your radar, because she may suddenly stop, and if you're focusing too much on the road, you may get so close you scare her. Don't hang too far back either, because sometimes she'll park in a place where you can't get to close, but if you're too far behind, a train or something will block your way and you will lose her. She'll stop and get out at a sex store, so get out and go into the store. Make a sharp left as you enter the store, go to the end, then face the counter, walk towards it and turn left at the hallway so you walk into the circle. A kinky cut-scene will play, and then you'll be told to get the gimp suit. There's an clothes icon in the room across the hall, walk into it to change into the gimp suit. Head outside and it's back to following her. This time you will need to follow her home. The circle you park in is directly opposite to her house across the road. Go to the house across the road and stand in front of the door. This way, no one gets in. When the real gimp start to approach the door. Kill him, it doesn't matter what with as he's only equipped with a dildo. Take the dildo after you kill him and stand in the circle to watch the final cut-scene and beat the mission. Reward: Respect + Millie is now your girlfriend. Just like the other girlfriends, you can take her on dates, raise your progress with her and so on. However, I strongly advise that you kill her on the first date, so you can break in to her and steal the key card. You don't get anything for getting 100% with her, so don't waste your time. You'll also never believe how many 'disapearing girlfriend' glitches there are where she won't come out for weeks, even after you've done the other Hesit missions, got a huge amount of sex appeal, walking around with a dildo and in a gimp suit. So, take the advice of a very frustrated gamer and kill her at the very first chance you get. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.76 - Dam And Blast -------------------------------------------------------- CJ is off to shut down the city's power supply. Go to Las Venturas airport and get in the plane at the end of the runway. You are going to have parachute onto the dam quay. Get a fair bit of height, so the blip on your radar is a square, and then you'll be able to fly right in to the corona. Hit 'TRIANGLE' after you go through the corona so you can bail and parachute down. Fall for a few seconds, then pull the cord and steer yourself towards the new blip on your radar. This part is important, as the further away you are, the more you'll have to travel to get where you need to go. From here, the stealth kicks in. When the guards are away from the knife, run over and get it. Now, head towards the guard with your back faced to you, crouch down, press R1 to target him and then O to slit his throat. Do the same for the other guard. Walk in to the red marker at the end of the quay. More guards are now about, and are patrolling the area. Watch the blips on the screen closely, as the point will be facing the way the guards are facing. There are 5 generators, and you need to walk up to each one and press 'TRIANGLE' to place an explosive on each one. The guards will need to be systematically taken out, using stealth. Crouch down in the shadows and observe where the guards walk. They all follow a set pattern and stop at certain points. Watch closely, then creep out from the shadows, and perform stealth kills on each guard. It's best to clear each little section, place the explosive, then move to the next one. The stealth is quite forgiving, so even if you botch the initial kill, you can still stab the guard to death without casuing too much trouble. One you have placed explosives on each generator, walk to the circle at the end to trigger a dramatic cut-scene of your escape. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.77 - Cop Wheels -------------------------------------------------------- This mission is very hard for some and very easy for others. You need to steal four police bikes, and drive them on to a Packer that is circling the thruway. You have 12 minutes to get them, which is three minutes per bike, but things don't always go according to plan, so you'll need every second you can get. Start with the westernmost one, and then head to the blue blip on the thruway, go quickly to catch it, but slow down as you near it, so you can park it on the back. Now you don't need to get off, just stay seated on the bike, as the packer drives you towards the next bike. Get off just before it arrives at the next bike, jack a car, go ahead and get the next bike. Once on it, loop back to the thruway and put it on the packer. Once more stay on the packer as it safely drives you to the next one. Some bikes will have cops on them. It's best to shoot the cop, and then just jack the bike and look for a police bribe, as there are numerous one's in alleyways and under some of the thruway overpasses. This will take off one of the stars, as when you have two stars, it's adds a lot of un-needed complications to the mission. If you do have two stars, stay on the packer and they will not be able to harm you, as the packer is sturdy, and all their nudges are weak and useless. A really odd thing happened to me when I did this mission, I had two stars and the cops were in pursuit, as there was an officer down and a stolen police bike, and I'm speeding along the road towards the thruway when out of no where, and I mean out of no where, a flamming police car falls from the sky and lands just in front of me. As if it has just done a stunt jump off a roof or something, it landed on it's roof, exploded and almost killed me. It may be a crazy one off thing, but I just thoght I'd mention it. Once you get the final bike on to the packer, the stars will disapear and cut-scene will take over with you being dropped off. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.78 - Up, Up And Away! -------------------------------------------------------- You've got the police uniforms, now you just need the armoured van. You'll have to use the sky crane to lift the van to a place where you can get a Caligula logo sprayed on to it. This mission has several parts to it, so try to follow closely. Firstly, jack any car and head to the north-east part of the map. As you approach the gate, a military vechicle will approach and the doors will open. Now is your moment, accelerate towards the man at the gate, then reverse over him until he is dead. Head left and run over the two guys here, if you can kill them both without getting out of the car you are doing well. Now leave the car and head towards the opening of the complex. Stand perpindicular to the entrance, right up against the wall. A few men will shuffle out in single file, so pick them off with an M4 as they come. Now head towards the door, poke your head in to shoot the few guys who will be close up with powerfull weapons, then duck back out. Reload and then head back in, crouch down and take cover against the boxes in front of you. Kill the guys who are further away, and only get the health pick up when you really need it. Clear out the whole area by killing any survivors, then head to the back and through the exit. Kill the guy on your right, head fowards and then kill the guy on the stairs. Head up the stairs, there will be two guards up on the heli-pad quite far away, so take out your sniper rifle and kill both of them before they spot you. The fun hasn't ended either, two army helicopters are now trying to kill you. Thankfully there's a minigun emplacement nearby, so kill the guard there and take it. Start firing at the red blips on your radar, always fire at the closest one, so you can reduce your movement as they circle around you, and you shoot them until they catch fire and come crashing down. Head up to the heli-pad and get the helicopter. Fly it to the depot. Follow the on-screen button controls and pick up the truck using the magnet attached to the helicopter. Lift the wire up a bit once you have the van to stop it from hitting things and fly over to the abandoned airfield, keeping an eye on the van to make sure it isn't being destroyed as it knocks in to things. Once at the airfield, carefully drop the van in to the circle, then park the helicopter in the circle to complete the mission. ------------------------------------------------------- 2.93 - Breaking The Bank At Caligula's ------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- 2.80 - Don Peyote -------------------------------------------------------- The Truth calls you and tells you he left two people in the desert who he needs you to try and find. Get a four door vehicle, and drive towards the blip on your radar, which is right in the middle of no where. Stick to the main roads to get as close as you can to the blip, then look closely at your map to see which dirt tracks lead to them. Drive slowly and if you're un-sure about whether you're in the wrong spot, get out of your vehicle and walk a bit ahead to scout out the area. When you know the exact way to your destination, go back to your car and drive to the blip. A funny cut-scene ensues, and now you have to take the boys to the snake farm. After not too long, one will need to throw up, so stop the car to let him get out, the continue on your journey once he gets back in. At the snake farm, some hicks will start shooting at you. I just killed two and drove off, while some others followed me, but I suppose if you take the time to kill them all now then there won't be any to follow you. If they are following you, it won't take much to lose them, so now proceed to make the easy drive back to the Casino. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.81 - Intensive Care -------------------------------------------------------- Remember that guy you strapped to your car in an earlier mission and drove around like a maniac to make him squel? Ironically you now need to save him from a hospital. When you get there you'll be told an ambulance has taken him. There are two genuine ambulances with real patients, and one corrupt ambulance driver who is driving off with Johhny. Track down one of the red dots on your radar, and give them a nudge, don't try to smash them off the road, because if you do, you'll wreck your car, need to jack a new one and they might actually be a genuine ambulance. Luckily you're informed which are real and which aren't as soon as you nudge them, and it's really just luck whether you get the real deal on the first try or the third try. When you eventually have the right one, the guys inside will start shooting at you, so drive-by them a few times, and try to get in a few rams when you have the chance. After the ambulance takes enough damage, they will bail. Now get in the ambulance and drive Johhny back to the hospital. You'll be chased, but it's nothing more than some slight diversions you should have all ready mastered by this stage of the game will be needed to arrive back to your drop off destination. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.82 - The Meat Business -------------------------------------------------------- Get a car and drive to the yellow blip. When you get their you'll need to enter through the front door. Roise will follow you where ever you go. You'll meet with Johhny, but remebering the horrific car shake up you had with him, he'll have a heart attack when he sees you. Now some molotov cocktails have been thrown, and you have to fight your way out of the building, making sure Rosie doesn't die on the way out. Body armour and maxed health will make this mission easy, combined with some sharp eyes to spot health pick ups/armour and an M4. Stand just behind the fire, and use auto-aim to take out all the guys who will be shooting at you. Try to get in a few rounds, roll behind cover, re-load, roll back out and then take out a few more guys. Once you've cleared that room, Rosie will put out the fire. Head towards the red blips on your radar, which are of course guys you need to kill. Take each guy as he comes, and take cover where you can to conserve health and armour. Rosie should be fine locked in the freezer, but if you take too long clearing the area out, he'll freeze to death. Now there's a room which is composed of a maze of boxes, with guys around ever corner. Crouch with your gun poised and hit R1 as soon as you round a corner so you can take out the guys before a bullet can even reach you. Once the whole place is cleared out, Rosie will come and follow you, so leave through where you came, jack a car and drive him back to the casino. Reward: $8000 Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.83 - Fish In A Barrel -------------------------------------------------------- Just a simple cut-scence that you can watch, you don't need to do anything. -------------------------------------------------------- 2.84 - Misappropriation -------------------------------------------------------- A DEA officer is meeting with an FBI agent to hand over a dossier. Make them disappear and get the evidence dossier for Tenpenny. The Keep It Simple Stupid technique is used here, where you need to be quick to kill the guy, because if you're slow, the mission will be far longer than it needs to be, and really not worth continuing. Grab a sanchez and head up the mountain towards the meet, and you'll see an agent with a red arrow above his head. Now, get out an M4 and splatter his brains over the ground. He'll drop the dossier, so shoot any other guards who try and get the dossier, then pick it up. Mission Passed! -------------------------------------------------------- 2.85 - Madd Dogg -------------------------------------------------------- Madd Dogg is having a bad time, with people killing his manager and stealing his rhymebook, feel a bit guilty? You should as he's now threatening to kill himself. A cut-scene will play with him threatening to jump, there's nothing really note worthy in it, and it won't harm you if you skip it. You need to catch him, so run to the blue blip on your radar, and jack the car. A guy will be standing next to it. You can shoot him if you want to, but if you're quick you can just jump in the car and drive off without him catching you. Drive back to where Madd Dogg is, and you'll engage in a mini-game where you need to line up the back of the pick-up truck to where he is. I repeat, you have to actually position the box on the back of the car under where he will fall, not the actual car. Stay in the middle, and edge slightly to whatever side he is on. Soon a cut-scene will play with him slowly falling. You still have time to make some minor adjustments, so as long as you were slightly off centre to where-ever he was, you should be able to make the fine postionings while he was falling and catch him perfectly. He'll now have a health bar, half of which was taken off from the fall. He'll lose health for every crash you have, so drive carefully and take your time to make sure you don't kill him. Drive to the hospital to pass the mission. Reward: Respect + -------------------------------------------------------- 2.86 - Freefall -------------------------------------------------------- Long story short, you need to make sure the people in a plane heading towards Las Venturas never make it there alive. Hop on the motorbike parked out side of the casino and drive to the air port. The gates will open and you'll be told to go to the hanger where a plane is waiting for you. Drive over to the hanger, pick up the body armour in the left corner of the hanger, then get in the plane, straighten it out on the runway and take off in the direction of the plane that is coming to Las venturas. The plane handles badly and it will be quite a flight, as the other plane is far from Las Venturas. Stay a bit above the blip, and soon you'll be told to fly into the corona behind it. Do a quick 180 turn with the analog stick and follow the plane. Line yourself up with the corona, then head through it, allowing for the unstable flying of the Dodo. As soon as you hit the corona, a cut-scene will be initiated, with you jumping onto the other plane. Now you'll engage in a FPS minigame where you have a pistol with unlimited ammo, but which you'll still need to re-load. Practise your manual aiming beforehand if you need to, because auto-aim is not an option. Focus all your attention on the guy closest to you, and then when you need to reload, tap R2 to duck to the side whilst you reload. Come back out firing, strategically shooting each guy on the plane, ducking to the side when you need to re-load. After taking them all out, you'll need to kill the piolet. As long as you've got any health left, he shouldn't present any problems, so finish him off with a few rounds. You'll now need to take control of the plane and land it at the Las Venturas airport. Head straight to the airport, making sure you don't collid with any trees or anything on the way, reduce your speed as you approach the airport, and then press R3 to put the wheels down when you're just above the run way. Land her smoothly to pass the mission. Reward: $15,000 Respect + ------------------------------------------------------- 2.87 - High Noon ------------------------------------------------------- An interesting cut-scene will play, developing the story of the cops further, but I won't go into detail incase you're looking ahead to prepare for the mission. The main thing you need is body armour, and a sniper rifle with a few bullets. Save your game at the abandoned air field and take a sanchez up to the C logo on your radar. Drive into the orange beam to trigger the cut-scene, and watch it play out. Pulaski will run towards his car. This is the crucial part. Do not waste time using a rocket launcher to try and blow up his car, or an M4 to try and shoot him. Neither way works. You have to chase him and kill him, but to make the chase easier, now is the time to whip out the sniper rifle and shoot out his back tyre, and if you do that first hit, aim for one of his other tyres too. He'll get in and drive off, so jump in the buggy next to you and give chase. Follow closely, but take shortcuts across fields when you can, and follow closely behind him. He's quite a shocking driver, so he'll often crash into things. When this happens, ram him to damage the car, and then do a drive-by on him if he's stuck in a certain spot. As soon as his car catches fire, back up a bit to avoid the explosion, as he'll have bailed, then try and run him over. Once you hit him, get out of the car and shoot him with any rapid fire weapon, he'll take a few rounds to go down, but when he does, a cut-scene will play showing his final moments of life. Mission Passed! ------------------------------------------------------- 2.92 - Saint Mark’s Bistro ------------------------------------------------------- For this mission, you will be going back to Liberty City! While you will see some of the old famous locations of GTA III, you cannot actually explore them without some cheats and glitches, which are discussed and explained in more detail in other guides. If you do want to explore Liberty City later, make a duplicate save file before attempting this mission so you can enable cheats on one, without ruining you chances of obtaining 100% completion. Go to the airport, go to the end of the run way, get in the jet and take off along the run way. Head towards the general direction of the blip on your radar, you can fine tune your co-ordinates via the in-game map as you get closer. Stay in the cloud line, you'll know when you're at exactly the right height because the blip on your radar will be a square, and not an arrow pointing up or down. Fly into the corona, and you will be magically teleported back to Liberty City. After a cut-scene, you'll be in a bar surrounded by angry mobsters screaming for your head. Duck behind the pop plant ledge and switch to an M4, or dual Uzi’s. Now, pop up and auto-aim one the guys shooting at you. They'll go down quickly, but if you run out of ammo, duck back down behind the pop plant while you reload to minimise damage. Walk over to the ledge and equip satchel charges if you have them, then throw about three over the edge, not to close together. Stand slightly back from the railing and detonate them. This is the best way of clearing downstairs, but if you don't have satchel charges, or if that fails, run down the stairs and shoot the two guys there, making sure you get them quickly as they have powerful shotguns. Various guys will roll out of doors, so be poised with your M4 to shoot them as soon as they emerge, or take cover behind another door if you need to. Run outside, there are four guards here waiting for you. If you're low on health and/or armour, take cover and shoot them one by one, but if you're fine on health, just run out and blast them. Finally, there is Forelli near the car, his only defence is to run away, so chase after him and shoot him down. You'll find yourself back in the plane; don't try anything silly on the way back, as you haven't passed the mission until you land the plane. Straighten out as you head towards the airport, and make sure you don't suddenly fly down too suddenly. Slow down gently, while putting the wheels out and getting closer to the ground. Doesn't need to be a perfect landing, as long as you bring it to a stop in one piece anywhere in the airport, you will pass the missions. Reward: $20,000 Respect + ------------------------------------------------------- 2.94 - A Home In The Hills ------------------------------------------------------- This is one of those missions which requires full health, a lot of M4 ammo, some good timing and body armour. Several cut-scenes in sucession will play, until you're on a plane and other triads are jumping off. Now you can only look around, but not move. Once all the triads have jumped, you'll run and jump, even if you don't press any buttons. Wait a few seconds after you have began to fall, and then open up your parachute and pull back on the left analog stick to lift your legs up and glide forward, so you can land right where you want to. In case you skipped the cut-scenes, you're seizing back Madd Dogg's old crib, which has been taken over. It's packed to the brim with guys for you to waste, but the king pin at the end of all the guards is Big Poppa. He's the guy you really need to kill, but you have to kill a lot of people to get him. Back to the action, in the distance you should see a helipad and the roof of Madd Dogg's mansion. If you miss both, you can jump over a few fences and make your way up to the roof, but you'll lose far more health that way and it's best to simply re-start the mission and keep trying until you land right on the helipad. Now, there will be multiple guys on the roof, and a few triads there to help you. On the heli-pad, crouch down and take some cover behind the clear wall. Once you have killed everyone, you'll be told to hold off further waves as you wait for the other triads. More will climb over the walls, so keep aimed at the walls and re-tap R1 as soon as you see someone approaching. You can shoot them as soon as you see them, but they cannot shoot you until they have completely climbed over the wall; this gives you a huge advantage, as if you're quick and don't make any big slip-ups, you can completely beat every wave without taking a single bullet. Once the entire roof is empty of threats and the remaining triads have arrived, head over to the large air conditioning systems on the roof and pick up the body armour. Lead the triads down to the front of the mansion, and then enter the house. A cut-scene will trigger of a hidden gun-man killing one of your triads, so auto-aim the two guys in the bushes and kill them. Here is a tip which will save you a lot of hassle. In stead of heading in to the hallway on your right, jump in to the bushes and crouch down so you are at the end of the hallway. The triads will systematically clear out each room, and you're left to pick off the straglers in the hallway. However, being in the plant and crouching down, hardly any of you is exposed to take damage. This way, you can clean out the hallway with your M4, auto-aiming everyone who appears, and not take a single bullet. When the hallway is clear, and all the rooms are empty, you should still have full armour and full health. Now, jump out from your hiding spot and sprint down the hallway. Stop at the end, and look down, here are another three guys, but they won't start firing at you until you start firing at them. If you're quick, you should be able kill them all before they start shooting. Now jump over the edge and a red blip will appear on your radar. You can't kill him yet, but he's making a run for it. Chase him, and kill all the guards who jump out from doorways and threaten you. Most you can just sprint past, because you should still be doing quite good on armour and health. After you run out the front door, a cut-scene will play with Big Poppa getting into his car and driving off. All you have is the crap car parked next to it, so get in it, head right up the path and give chase. You need to kill him now, but the car you're in has horrid handling. Do your best, and as the road's are steep and difficult to handle, he'll have as much trouble handling them as you do. This also means he's prone to crashing. When I did this mission, he simpyk crashed in to a tree and nearly flipped the vehicle. I got out and let fly with several rounds of M4 ammo on the car, until it was up in flames. However, if he doesn't crash when you do this mission, just do several drive-bys on his car until it's up in flames, then slow down to avoid being caught in the explosion. Reward: Respect + ------------------------------------------------------- 2.95 - Vertical Bird ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- 2.96 - Home Coming ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- 2.97 - Cut Throat Business ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- 2.98 - Beat Down On B Dup ------------------------------------------------------- Although there are a few locations you need to drive to, and a few cut scenes you need to watch, essentially this is simply a gang war. Nothing you shouldn't be able to handle by this stage of the game, so make sure you have a lot of M4 ammo, health and armour. Tactics are simple, watch your radar for the purple blips, try and wait near a corner when you see them, so you can shoot the first few when the walk around the corner, before they even see you, let alone have time to draw their weapons. Stay near Sweet to protect him, but don't drag a wave of ballas over to him. Get the randomly spawning health and armour pick ups you will see on the street, and repeat the above strategy for each wave. Reward: Respect + ------------------------------------------------------- 2.99 - Grove 4 Life ------------------------------------------------------- More gang wars, see above mission for strategies on what to do in a gand war. Reward: $10,000 Respect + ------------------------------------------------------- 3.00 - Riot ------------------------------------------------------- After Frank Tenpenny had the charges dropped on him, the entire city went mad and began to riot. The city is full of burning vehicles and people looting. Random cars will catch fire and explode, so constantly tap L2/R2 to check around you and make sure the car next to you isn't on fire and about to explode, taking you down with it. The barebons of the mission is to simply take Sweet home, so do that, making sure you steer clear of burning vehicles and large groups of rioting people.
