A.Harrry Potter The great wizard himself.He doesnt have a big amout if spells under his belt, which i found pretty surprising.Anyhoes,he is the only one that can jump and use the Marauders Map to locate secret areas. B.Ron Weasly He turned out exactly what i expected of him.He only has one spell under his belt.But he is very useful as he can access secret areas for beans and cards etc.You have to use harry to locate the secret area and ron has to enter it. C.Hermione Ginger The brains of the group.She has the most spells,which was slightly surprising since i expected harry to have them.Anyhows,she is the only one that can crawl through gaps. To succed through the game,there has to be a joint effort from all three characters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6-Spells There are nine spells in the game.Six of them have to be gotton after ending their respective quests.One you have right from the start of the game and one from the second level.One has to be bought from Fred And George's shop.Below i have listed each spell,when it is available,to whom it is available(since some spells are only available to a particular character),what is their use and what are their upgrades(if available).I have also given them an effectiveness score so that you can get an idea about the power of the spell. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A.Fliependo Spell Avaialable: From the Start Of The Game TO: Harry,Hermione and Ron. Use: This is a basic spell.This is like the shotgun of the harry potter universe.It knocks most objects and enemies back-wards while dealing them moderate to minor damage. Upgrades: 1)Twice as Powerful Fliependo:Unleashes a BIGGER,FASTER,more POWERFUL flipendo You can upgrade this spell.Go to Fred and George's store as hermione and ask them about the defence against the dark arts books.They will give you a task of finding 9 statues all over hogwarts.Collect the first three of the nine statues and go to Fred and George's shop.They will give you your first upgrade,more powerful flipendo spell. 2)Faster Spell Casting Ability:You can cast your spell in a shorter time Go to Fred and George's store as hermione and ask them about the defence against the dark arts book.They will give you a task of finding 9 statues all over hogwarts.Collect the last set of three statues and go to Fred and George's shop to get the last upgrade.Faster Spell casting Ability.Using it you can cast ALL spells faster. USE: This spell is sort of like your armor.Using this spell will cause upcoming spells to repel of the forcefield and in-turn hit the person who cast the spell which makes it very useful as there are certain enemies who will unload a flood of spells at you while you are pretty much trapped.That repelled spell also deals the enemy the exact amout of damage/effect you would have gotton if you got hit by that spell. Upgrades: 1)Twice as Powerful Expeliarmus:Unleashes a BIGGER,STRONGER forcefield. You can upgrade this spell.Go to Fred and George's store as hermione and ask them about the defence against the dark arts books.They will give you a task of finding 9 statues all over hogwarts.Collect the second set of three statues and go to Fred and George's shop.They will give you the expeliarmus spell upgrade which is like twice as powerful then the normal one. 2)Faster Spell Casting Ability:You can cast your spell in a shorter time Go to Fred and George's store as hermione and ask them about the defence against the dark arts book.They will give you a task of finding 9 statues all over hogwarts.Collect the last set of three statues and go to Fred and George's shop to get the last upgrade.Faster Spell casting Ability.Using it you can cast ALL spells faster. Upgrades: This spell has only one upgrade. 1)Faster Spell Casting Ability:You can cast your spell in a shorter time Go to Fred and George's store as hermione and ask them about the defence against the dark arts book.They will give you a task of finding 9 statues all over hogwarts.Collect the last set of three statues and go to Fred and George's shop to get the last upgrade.Faster Spell casting Ability.Using it you can cast ALL spells faster. Use: The only use for this spell to convert small flying books (enemies) into small harmless mice which then run into mouse holes to give you beans and other secrets.It does NOT work on any other enemy.That is why this spell is very situaional. Upgrades: This spell has only one upgrade. 1)Faster Spell Casting Ability:You can cast your spell in a shorter time Go to Fred and George's store as hermione and ask them about the defence against the dark arts book.They will give you a task of finding 9 statues all over hogwarts.Collect the last set of three statues and go to Fred and George's shop to get the last upgrade.Faster Spell casting Ability.Using it you can cast ALL spells faster. Use: This spell is used to defeat dementors,the enemies who will suck out you soul. Unlike other spells,casting this spell will put you in first person mode in which you navigate the patronus using the left analog stick.You have to guide it at the dementor.This will not only moderately damage the dementor but also repel him backwards.You need three hits to take out most dementors.This spell only affects the dementors,NO other enemy is affected by it. Upgrades: This spell has only one upgrade. 1)Faster Spell Casting Ability:You can cast your spell in a shorter time Go to Fred and George's store as hermione and ask them about the defence against the dark arts book.They will give you a task of finding 9 statues all over hogwarts.Collect the last set of three statues and go to Fred and George's shop to get the last upgrade.Faster Spell casting Ability.Using it you can cast ALL spells faster. Use: This spell creates a steady beam of sharp light.The only two uses for this spell are to take out hinky punks and to shine crystals,the latter giving access to secrets areas.Therefore it is very situational. Upgrades: This spell has only one upgrade. 1)Faster Spell Casting Ability:You can cast your spell in a shorter time Go to Fred and George's store as hermione and ask them about the defence against the dark arts book.They will give you a task of finding 9 statues all over hogwarts.Collect the last set of three statues and go to Fred and George's shop to get the last upgrade.Faster Spell casting Ability.Using it you can cast ALL spells faster. Effectiveness: Before Upgrade: 6.5/10 After Upgrade: 8/10 (Note:I have given this spell a score for what it's supposed to do as this spell is mostly situational and cannot be used for every task,unlike the flipendo and expeliarmus spell which can be used at all locations) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7-Enemies Now that you know everything about the spells,i will give you details about the enemies.I have written the enemies in alphabetical order,where they are genrally found and a way to defeat them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I.Dementor Dementors are among the foulest creatures on earth.They are the guardians of Azkaban.They will try to suck your soul out. Where They Are Found: You encounter one during the patronus spell book quest.It is a boggart but it packs the same amount of heat as the original one.You also encounter them in Hogsmade and in the last level,by the lake. How They Will Attack: They will try to suck your soul out.If one gets hold of you,keep wiggling the left analog stick until he lets go. How to Deal With Them: Harry has to use the patronus spell to take them out.Caste the Expecto Patronum spell and you will be put in First Person Mode where you navigate the patronus using the left analog stick.You have to guide it into the dementor.This will not only damage him but also repel him backwards.You have to hit most dementors three times to take them out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- II.Doxy Doxy's are creatures with resemlance to fairies but they have four arms and four legs and are bigger. Where They Are Found: You will encounter them near hagrid's hut while collecting the second set of ingredients for the potions class.Apart from this,you will randomly encounter them during various quests. How They Will Attack: They will try to bite you if you get close.If they succeed in biting,you will be poisoned and will steadily lose your health. How to Deal With Them: If they succeed in biting you,take an anti-dote immediately as there bites are posionous and will steadily decrease your health.The best way to take them out is to let loose flipendoes on them as soon as you lock-onto them.They are very easy to take down if you have both the upgrades for the flipendo spell. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- III.Draco And Co. They are your arch enemies.They are humans and three in number. Where They Are Found: You encounter them 6 times(i think).Your first fight with them will be after getting the expeliarmus spell.You will again encounter them in the muggle studies class room(while saving neville) and in hogsmade(while finding faires) etc. How They Will Attack: All three of them have only one attack.The pumpkin spell.If you get hit by it, your head will be temporarily turned into a pumkin leaving you vulnerable for a short time. How To Deal With Them: Try to dodge there pumpkin spells.You will inevitably get hit once or twice,so just stand still while their spell wears off.The best way to counter their pumpkin spells is to use expeliarmus to repel it.It will turn their heads into pumkins and you can then use flipendoes to lower their health.They are easier to defeat if both upgrades have been purchased for expeliarmus and flipendo spells. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IV.Fairy These small winged creatures are probably the easiest of all enemies. Where They Are Found: You will find these fairies in hogsmade,while getting the ingredients.This is the only place where you can get them. How they Will Attack: They will try to bite you if you get too close,but their bites are non-poisonus How To Deal With Them: First use a flipendo to temporarily ground them,after that hermione has to use the glacius to freeze them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- V.Fire Salamanders These firey lizards are the enhanced version of the normal salamanders packing rouch twice as much power. Where They Are Found: They are first found during the glacius spell book quest.After that you will randomly encouner them in various quests. How They Will Attack: They will try to bite you if you get too close.Plus their fire will also damage you. How to Deal With Them: You have to first extinguish the flame on which they are feeding,using the glacius spell.After that you extinguish the flame on their bodies using the glacius spell which turns them blue.After that you attack them with flipendoes to take them out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VI.Flying Book These small books are books with small wings? attached to them. Where They Are Found: They will be found at every place where there is a book case. How They Will Attack: They will just lunge at you,giving you minor damage.Try not to get surrounded. How To Deal With Them: They are one of the easiest enemies in the game.One hit from from the flipendo and they are history.They can also be turned into mice using the snuffifors spell,by hermione.I recommend the snuffifors spell as it gives you beans and other secrets when they run into mice holes.They are easy but can be annoying if you get surrounded.Avoid that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VII.Ghoul You will encounter this ugly creature only once,if you can call it an encounter Where He Is Found: He is found in the muggle studies classroom,attacking neville on the third day. After you cage him,he will stay there forever. How He Will Attack: He just moans and tries to throw objects at neville.If you hit him with a flipendo,he will just get annoyed and charge at you if you are nearby. How To Deal With Him: The only way to defeat him is by using the lumos duo spell,which is Ron's speciality.He doesnt like light and moves away if light is shone on him.Use the lumos duo spell to to guide him into the cage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VIII.Hinky Punk These smoky beings will quickly get on your 'MOST ANNOYING' list. Where They Are Found: They are usually found during quests and have no definate place. How They Will Attack They have an infinite supply of lanterns which they swing around and throw at you. How To Deal With Them: They cannot be harmed until they are solidified.To do so Ron will have to use lumos duo spell on them for a couple of seconds to solidify them and then hit them with two flipendoes to finish them.They are only temporarily slidified so take them out fast otherwise they will turn smokey again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IX.Monster Book This monster book is exactly what the name suggests,an annoying monster. Where They Are Found: They are found only during quests.Your first encounter with it will be on the first level. How They Will Attack: They will attack you by casting many types of spells at you every few seconds. How to Deal With Them: Whenever it casts spells at you,use expeliarmus spell to defelect it back onto it.This will not only protect you but also damage it.Another way is to cast flipendoes at it when it's mouth is open,but this way is a little risky as it leaves you open for attack.Its easier to take this monster out if you have bought both upgrades for flipendo and expeliarmus spells. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- X.Pixie These mischievious beings will teach you a new prank or two. Where They Are Found: They are mostly found during quests.However most secrets passages from one floor to the other have them. How They Will Attack: They will try to pick you by your ears and fly you above. How to Deal With Them: One hit from the flipendo will kill them.However,the main thing is locking onto them as they move around quite a lot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- XI.Red Cap There name is suggestive,i wonder WHY they are called 'ReD cAp' Where They Are Found: They are usually in the dungeons but are mostly found during quests. How They Will Attack: They will throw stink bombs at you.It gives off a bad smell but does not damage you whatsoever.If you get to close to them they will use their swords at you. They also insult you,by showing you their butts! How To Deal With: Since they use swords if you get close so close combat is not recommended.They can be easily taken down with two flipendo hits.Just lock-on and boom. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- XII.Salamander This big lizard isnt as scary as it looks. Where They Are Found: You will encounter them mostly during quests. How They Will Attack: They will try to bite you if you get too close. How to Deal With Them: Since they attack you if get too close,so just lock-on them from a distance and cast flipendoes at them.Two flipendoes will kill them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- XIII.Troll These stupid creatures don't even do 5 % of what you expect from them. Where They Are Found: They are found in the north wing,after Mr.Siruis Black has made his move. Something to note below is some areas might not have a secret, and also in some areas are well hidden chests which i have marked. Lets Begin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I.Secret Areas I wil start from the ground to the last i-e the seventh floor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A.Ground Floor There are no secret areas here But there is a chest here which might have missed your vision, when you enter the dungeons corridor, there are many dark alcoves, in one of them is a chest. All done on this floor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ B.First Floor In the first floor corridor there is a large statue. Behind it are two secret or hidden areas that can be opened by Ron. The one on your left side has a lever which you can use to uncover a hidden chest of beans. And the one the leftside shows a stink pellet bowl (see secret challenges section) These are all the secret areas on the first floor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ C.Second Floor In the study corridor of this floor again have two secret areas. In the study corridor there are two doors covered by rugs If you as hermione use the draconifers spell on both the doors then one door hides a secret passage way to the third floor and the other door hides a secret passage way to the fourth floor. These are all the secret areas on this floor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ D.Third Floor This floor also has two secret areas In the study area there should be a door cover by a rug. Use draconifers spell on it to unveil a secret passage way to the second floor. Now the second secret area. There should be a gunhilda of gorsemore corridor on this floor. Enter it and at its end there should be some stairs. Ascend them to see a door covered by a rug. As hermione use the draconifers spell on it to burn down the rug and get acces to a chest.Further more there should be a balcony with a chest here and you should also notice a statue on the balcony infront of it on which as Harry you can use the carpe retra- ctum spell to get access to another chest. Also secret areas covered on this floor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ E.Fourth Floor This floor has basically two secret areas and a secret way to get a card. In the study area of this floor should be a rug covering a door. So use the draconifers spell on it to reveal a secret passage way to the second floor. In this same study area there should be a bookcase which you can move to reveal a secret passage way to the seventh floor. Now the secret to get the card. In the study area you should see a fire for warming the room purposes you as hermione can use glacius spell on it to freeze it to recieve the card All secrets opened. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ F.Fifth Floor The area has two secrets. You should notice a broken gramophone in this room as hermione use reparo spell on it so that it is repaired and it opens a formerly locked chest. The 2 secret is a hidden area, you should notice the gate here, as ron and harry lift it so that hermione can crawl under it and then get acces to a chest and another area. All secrets done. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ G.Sixth Floor There are many secrets to uncover in this floor, including ways to get to hidden chest etc. As you know this area has many corridors, if you as hermione have bought the snuffifors spell book from the magic shop then use that spell on the small floating books here to convert them into mice which then run into mice holes to give you bertie bott all flavour beans and cards etc. This floor will have a glanmore peakes corridor and inside it will be a broken vase. You as hermione can cast reparo on it to repair it and thus unlock a chest nearby. In this same corridor you should notice a small puddle, you as hermione can cast glacius spell on it to convert it into an ice block and then push that ice block towards the dinosaur casing, then climb up via the ice block to get acces to a hidden chest. On this floor should be Fred And George's magic shop enter it and go towards the toilets side. You should notice a broken toilet on your right side. As hermione cast reparo spell on it to repair it and get acces to a card. In this same floor should be an east wing corridor. Enter it and inside should be a wall that ron can push to reveal a hidden chest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ H.Seventh Floor This floor also has several secrets to uncover. In the gryfinder common room you as hermione can use glacius to freeze the fire and get a card. In this same room ron can push a book case to reveal a hidden chest.In the seventh floor corridor as ron you can push the book case to reveal a hidden passage way to the fourth floor. Another secret but many of you might already know it, in the boys dormitory harry and ron, and in the girls dormitory hermione can open thir chests to get cards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well these are all the secret areas, now the secret challenges. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ II.Secret Challenges Now we start with the secret challenges of the game. These challenges are not given to you automatically but you have to find and do them your selves. A.Notice Board Challenge (Lost And Found) The notice board should be up on a wall in the gryfindor common room. What you have to do is find and bring the lost items back to this notice board. Each item you bring back nets you 10 house points and the last item gives you 30 house points. The items and their locations are given below: 1.Prefect Badge - You should find the prefect badge behind the huflepuf hour glass in the entrance hall. 2.Remembrall - You should find this outside the tunnel bridge, near where the stone circle is. 3.Potion Vial Case - You should find this in the study area of the second floor. 4.Dragon Hide Gloves - This should be present on the third floor in the defence against the dark arts class room. 5.Owl Post Parcel - This should be present near the passage way surrounding the clock tower courtyard. 6.A Key - You should find this in the first floor corridor. Ther should be a statue and it is behind it. 7.Telescope - It is present in the boat house. If you more correct direction i suggest to do the mission in which you have to collect the second set of potions ingredients. The place where you caught the sea horses. 8.Daily Prophet News Paper - This should be present on the fourth floor in the hospital wing. 9.Brass Scales - These should be present on the second floor in the charms classroom. 10.Potion Jar - This should be present in the dungeon corridor in the potions study area. Well lost things found and this challenge is complete, and overall should give you 120 house points. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ B.Duelling Challenge This is present the great hall. You can start the challenge by talking to the slytherin prefect present here. The idea is to knock out the three slytherin students without being hit quite often. Do this to get an A grade and if you get hit many times you get some other lower grade. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ C.Statue Challenge If you go to Fred and George's magic shop on the floor in the disused batroom and inquire about the defence against the dark forces book, they will give you challenge of finding nine hidden statues and for every three you find, you three will get an improvement in your spells. You have to find nine statues, you have to do them as hermione There names and locations are given below: 1.Bridget Wenlock - You should find this statue in the seventh floor corridor 2.Gondoline Oliphant - This statue should be present in the secret passage way to the second floor, on the fourth floor You have to use the draconifers spell to burn down the rug and reviel the hidden door. 3.Hengist Of Woodcroft - This statue you should find in the fourth floor corridor. You can now go to Fred And George and get more powerful flipendoes. 4.Glanmore Peakes - This statue should be located in the glanmore peakes corridor on the sixth floor. 5.Beaumont Majoribanks - This statue is located in the fourth floor in the history of magic classroom. 6.Gunhilda Of Gorsemoor - This statue should be located in the gunhilda of gorsemoor corridor on the third floor. You can now go to fred and george to get more powerful expeliarmus spell. 7.Gregory The Smarmy - This statue should be in the first floor corridor. 8.Jocunda Skyes - This statue is in the entrance hall. On the right of dungeon corridor entrance. 9.Hooky The House Elf - This last statue should be in the potions study area in the dungeons corridor. You can now go get faster spell casting ability from fred and george. This challenge is complete and all three characters are now spell wise more strong. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ D.Stink Pellet Challenge This challenge is again started in the magic shop on the sixth floor. If you buy stink pellets from them they will give a challenge of finding and throwing stink pellets in the stink pellet bowl. There are total twenty in number and press R1 to lock on to a stink pellet bowl and then throw the stink pellet in it. You do this as Ron. Your reward is four very rare collector cards. The locations of all stink pellet bowls is as follows. 1.Ground Floor - There should be one in near the bottom of the grand stair case. 2.Ground Floor - There should be one in the entrance hall near the gryfindor hourglass. Press R1 to see it. 3.Ground Floor - There should be one in the dungoens corridor. 4.Ground Floor - There should be another in the dungeons corridor. 5.Ground Floor - There should be one in the potions classroom 6.First Floor - In the first floor corridor, it is in the secret area behind the statue and thus only Ron can open it. 7.First Floor - There should be one in the Transfiguration class room. You have to climb up the book cases and then lockon. 8.First Floor - There should be another on in the transfiguration class room in the same place as the seventh one. Press R1 to see it. 9.Second Floor - There should be one in one of the secret passage ways in the second floor corridor. Use draconifers on the rugs to reviel the doors. 10.Third Floor - There should be one in the defence against the dark arts study area. 11.Third Floor - There should be one in the defence against the dark arts classroom. 12.Fourth Floor - The should be one above the hospital wing door. 13.Fourth Floor - There should be one above the history of magic entrance door. 14.Fourth Floor - There should be one in the fourth floor corridor above two windows. 15.Fifth Floor - There are two muggle studies classrooms. In between them is a corridor. There should be one in it. 16.Sixth Floor - There should be one in the east wing. 17.Sixth Floor - There should be one in Fred And George's shop in the disused bathroom. 18.Sixth And Seventh - There should be one on the wall in the stairs on the grand stair case from sixth to seventh floor. 19.Seventh Floor - There should be one in the Fat Lady's Corridor. 20.Seventh Floor - There should be one in the north wing. Lock onto it to see it. Controls are given on screen. The thing you have to do is beat the other owls to take first or second or third position to get an A grade, otherwise you get other lower grades. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ F.Hipograff Challenge To start this go and stand on the round platform near hagrids hut to control buckbeak. The idea is to get most of or all of the bats to get an A grade otherwise you get lower grades. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Find The Marauder's Map Watch The cutscene.Follow Ron.You currently have only the flipendo spell.Ignore the nearby compartments as they are empty.Go forward and then right.Go through the door.Watch cutscene.Press R1 to lock onto the book and hit it when it has it's mouth open.Watch cutscene.Go near the luggage and press X to pick it up. Move it a little left and then press X again to drop it.Press X near the door to open it.Watch cutscene.You now have to battle Malfoy and Co.Just lock onto them and keep using flipendoes until a cutscene starts.Go forward to hear a scream after which harry faints.Cutscene.You as ron have to drag Harry back to safety.If the dementor gets hold of you,wiggle the left analog stick repeatedly until he lets go.Press back on the left analog stick and keep going backwards. Go through the door and little further back.The dementor will come and get hold of harry.Shake him off and head a little right and then back again.Steer a little left when the windows break and keep back tracking.Watch the cutscene. Now ron wants to see the folio bruti,press the select button and press X button to slect the folio bruti.Press TRIABGLE button and then the select button to reutrn back.Press X button near the two doors,leading to the gryfindor common room.Follow the stairs down and go through the door again.Watch cutscene.You now have your second spell.The expeliarmus spell.I hope you took my advice and read the spells and other sub sections.Because if you did you will know how to operate this spell.If not,then go follow Ron and go forward and through the entrance. Watch cutscene.Now press R1 and cast the flipendo spell at ron.Watch cutscene. Cast flipendoes at him twice for a cutscene.Now he will cast flipendoes at you and you have to use expeliarmus spell.It will probably be on the TRIANGLE button.You can customize the buttons in the inventry menu.Anyhows,lock onto ron and repel all his flipendoes for a cutscene.Go forward and enter the door which leads to the seventh floor corridor.Just keep going straight forward until you reach a door leading to the grand staircase.Go through it.Follow the stairs down and enter the door leading to the sixth floor (Ancient Runes).Watch the cutscene.Now you have to fight that book.Its better to use expeliarmus spell on it when it attacks you rather then using the flipendo spell.Defeat it for a cutscene.Go forward,lock-onto the box blocking the door and cast flipendo at it Go through it to enter the glanmore peakes corridor.Go forward a little.Take out those pesky books.Go forward and then left.Enter the disused bathroom.Go forward for a cutscene.Press O button for a cutscene.Press X button near that wall for a cutscene.Go forward.Cutscene.Ignore the cage behind you and go to the door on your left.Cutscene.Go forward and the floor will break.As harry, run towards the gap and press X button to jump over it.Do it another time for the next gap.Press the switch infront of you.Walk on the ledge on your left carefully and then press the switch here.Go back to the first switch and jump to the right.Press the third switch for a cutscene.All this has to be done in 5-8 seconds.Lock-on and take out all pixies after the cutscene,specially the one holding ron.Switch to ron and through the (now open) gate.Press X near the wall to open it.Go forward and up the stairs.Go through the door.Cutscene.Go forward and pick the crate.Press L1 to call the other one as well for a cut- scene.Now both of you carry this crate near the wall with crystal on it,the one on which the the crystal is deflecting the light onto the mirror.Climb onto the ledge via the trunk.Go towards the mirror and press X near it.Press the left analog stick left,once.Cutscene.Now go towards the newly born ledges and have one character first climb it and go to the top,then swap characters and have the other one on the top as well.Go up the stairs and go through the door. Cutscene.Notice the wheel works in the centre of the room.Target it and cast 3 flipendoes at it.This will bring down a platform with a rope on it.Switch to harry,go towards the rope and press X to climb it.Go all the way up.Continue forward and take out all pixies.Go forward and drop down on that platform.Go forward for a short cutscene where the door closes behind harry.Go up the stairs and go through the door.Cutscene.GO forward and towards your right.Open the chest for an owl treat.See cutscene for a monster book.Battle it and defeat it.Go up the stairs and go towrads that owl holding type thing.Since you have the owl treat,press X for a cutscene.Press X again to feed headwig.Cutscene. Press and hold the O button to flu.Fly forward and then left towards the map. Go towards the marauders map for a short cutscene.Now trun around and fly back to harry for a cutscene.Now head down the stairs on your right and go towards the green painting with a man drawn on it.Press X near it for a cutscene. Go forward,you have to avoid being seen.Avoid the armor's vision and bear left and then forward.Wait for the armor's vision to turn around then head left. Press the switch.This opens the door.Avoid the armor and go to where the first armor was.Avoid him and head towards the right and go through the door.It shuts after you enter.Go forward.Wait for the armor's vision to turn around before continuing.Head right.Wait for the armor's vision to turn around and then quickly hug the book case by going near it.Make it past this armor.Head forward and on your left will be another armor.Wait for his vision to go left and then quickly hug the book case in front of him.Wait for his vision to turn around again and go past it.Enter the door.Cutscene. You have to avoid the professor.Go forward and hug the wall behind the armor and go past it.Quickly hug the wall here as well and go past both the armor's. Again,hug the wall quickly.Wait for the professor to turn around move away before crossing the armor's vision.Quickly enter the door for a cutscene.Press the select button,because you have a small shiny red thing inside a crystal, flickering on your bottom left corner.This usually means you have done all the task's for the day.You can either spend time snooping around,looking for secrets or press the X button to end the way.You have to end the day in order to progress.Do it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.DAY 2...The First Day Of Term Tasks: Go to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom on the third floor Collect The Glacius Spellbook Attend The Potions Class In The Dungeons To Learn about the wiggenmeld Potion Watch Cutscene.You get control of hermione for the first time.Go through the door into the gryfindor common room and follow the stairs down.Enter the door. Now all three of you are united.Now go right and follow the path forward.Go through the entrance.Go straight forward and enter the door.Keep going straight forward again until you reach the door leading to the grand staircase.Enter it. Follow the stairs to the third floor (Defence Against The Dark Arts) and go through the door.Follow the linear path forward through the bookcases until you reach the door leading to the gunhilda of gorsemoor corridor.Enter it.Go straight ahead and enter the door leading to the defence against the dark arts classroom for a cutscene. Now you have to get the glacius spell book.Follow the path down the stairs.Keep following it around the barricade until you see a see a small cutscene.Now you have to take out all pixies.So keep casting flipendoes at them until they are all taken care off.Now all three of you grab the pot and move it over to the sign.Place it there.The cages will now open.Go through the one on the right. Keep following the path until you encounter more pixies.Take them all out and be sure all characters are nearby.Follow the path down until you encounter some more pixies.Take them all out as well.Follow the path and go through the gate. Cutscene. Head a little forward and then to thr right to notice a switch.Press it to get a beam of light come out.Now go towards the mirror that is not deflecting the light.Climb the ledges near it and step on the mirror by pressing the X button. Move it to the right twice so that it deflects onto another mirron.Now let go of it.Switch to harry and go to where you stepped on the mirror.Jump over the gap nearby onto the ledge where there is another mirror.Get on it,move it left once and let go.Go towards the mirror which recently ot fed with and light,jump over the gap to reach it.Press X near it.Press right on the left analog stick twice.It opens a gate.Go through it.Watch the small cutscene. Follow he path forward.You will see a group of pixies.Take them all out.Go to the wheel works in the right side of the area.Target and hit it with three flipendoes.This will raise a platform.Climb the small ledge nearby.Next,climb another ledge also nearby.Face left and jump over the gap onto the next ledge. Now face towards the platform you just raised using the wheel works and jump onto it.Face forward and jump onto another ledge.Move forward on it and face right.You will a ledge with another set of wheel works.Jump onto it.Target it and hit it three times with a flipendo.Now jump onto the previous ledge and then onto the one you just raised using the wheel works.Go forward and jump onto another ledge.Follow the path around.Go right a little and you will see another set of wheel works.Again target it and hit it three times by casting flipendo spells.Now drop down and all three of you go through the gate that harry just recently opened by using the wheel work.Follow it around and enter the door.Watch the cutscene. You should notice three switches on the floor.Ignore them for the moment and grab the yellow box.Bring it backwards so that it is in the center of the two switches.Now push it backwards,NOT towards the switch but in the other firection.Stop when it is on the red lining on the floor.Turn around and push it towards the book shelf type ledge.Now s HARRY climb the book shelf type ledge via the yellow and stay there for the moment.Now switch characters and have ron push the box first in the center aof the room and then all the way onto the lone switch,in front of the other two.Now as hermione and ron,stand on the two switches left and change character to harry.Now as HARRY carefully jump over the gap onto another ledge and then onto the one with the switch.Do it carefully because if you fall down you have to repeat the whole process again. Now press the switch.Cutscene. A staircase opens.Climb it and head left.You now have to defeat the monster book.Do so as you did the last time.Now switch to ron and head forward.One of this walls in a decoy.So open it as ron.Cutscene.Take out the salamanders in front of you using flipendoes.Go forward,then left and then left again.Go forward and then right.Go left and you will see a familiar wheel work nearby. Cast a single flipendo at it for a cutscene.Now take out the pesky pixies.Now shift to hermione and crawl throught the partially opened gate.Go forward and then left and then right again.Watch the cutscene. Go forward and push the ice block.Go forward again and push the ice block again Now turn around and push the ice block towards the bigger one.Now push the ice block on the left again and get onto the icy ledge via it.Here you will notice two ice blocks and a switch.Go towards the ice block in the centre,NOT the one on your left.Push towards the right once andthen oush it towards the switch. Now go towards the other block,push it forward once,right once and then onto the switch.This will take out the ice blockade which was below earlier.Now drop down and push this ice block towards the right,then forward and then towards the right again.Push it forward one last time.Now climb onto the ice ledge via this ice block.Follow the path around until you see a cutscene. Jump down and go towards the glacius spell book and press X for a cutscene. The inventory opens,select glacius in place of expeliarmus is my recommendation at least for the time being.Now this whole area is molten.Press R1 to target and freeze the lava in front of you.Get on the temporary ice surface and freeze the lave again and one last time again.Get on the ledge.Keep following the path left and head through the opening on your right.Keep following the path for a cutscene.Go towards the small ice puddle infront and use glacius to freeze it into a full ice block.Get behind it and push it forwad,then left,then forward again.Now push it towards your right and then forward again.Now push it left, forward and then right.Now push it forward.Grab it and bring it near the switch.Get on the block and press the switch.This will open a stairway.Get on it and follow the path towards your right.Go towards the lava and use the glacius spell to make an ice path on it.Climb the ledge and go forward for a cutscene.Drop down the ledges.You have now encountered the fire salamanders. Hope you read my enemies section.If not than read it to know how to take out these scary looking creatures.In case you arent interested in reading the enemies section,then heres the info.First freeze the fire on which they are feedingusuing glacius and then freeze them and then take them out with two flipendoes.Watch the cutscene and had through the newly open gate.Just keep following the path until you see a cutscene in which the pot you lifted way back in the start of the level now turns into a fiery boss. Nothing except the glacius will defeat this pot.He will just keep moving around but will open his mouth to fire flame balls at you.When he does that quickly go near him and use glacius at him.After that he will throw one of his ArMs at you,avoid it and then target and freeze it.Repeat this part again and he will throw his second arm at you.Freeze it as well.Now he will again start moving about.Wait for him to open his mouth and then freeze him again. This will defeat him.Watch the cutscene. Yo get control again.Go through the opening and keep following the path.You have been through here before so you know the way.Watch the cutscene.Now trace your way back to the grand staircase and head all the way down and enter the door leading to the entrance hall.Go forward and then left and then right and go down the stairs.On your right will be an entrance.Go through it and follow the stairs all the way down and enter the door leading to dungeon corridor. Follow the stairs down and enter the door.Go forward a little and enter the door leading to the potions class room on your left.Watch the cutscene.Press X near harry to get him and drag him all the way to Snapes.Watch the cutscene. Grab the two Wiggenmeld potions.Now go to your inventry and select the potion in any of your two slots(it's only temporary).First press square once,AWAY from harry to replenish your own stamina and then go near him and pres SQUARE (that was the slot i selected) to give him the wiggenmeld potion.Watch the cutscene.You now have the choice to end the day or snoop around.You have to end the day to progress. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3-DAY 3...Neville And The Ghoul Tasks: Rescue Neville From The Ghoul on The Fifth Floor. Return To The Gryfindor Common Room Watch the cutscene.Follow the now familiar route all the way to the grand stair case and go to fifth floor (Muggle Studies).Enter through the door for a cut- scene.You now have to fight Malfoy and Co.Take them out as you did last time NS watch cutscene.Now go through the door with the house point shield in front of it and go straight ahead to another door.Go through it.Go to your left for a small cutscene.You have now encountered the guitars and other musical stuff. Take them all out.Go through the nearby door.Cutscene.Now switch to ron and go towrads that big box on your right,the one with picture of clown of in.Open it. Cutscene.Take out the toys and go through the door.Descend the stairrs and go through another door.Head towards the middle of the room and then go left to the lumos duo spell book.Press X near it.Cutscene.You have to battle to groups of hinky punks.Refer to my enemies section to know how to defeat them and take them all out.Watch the suggestive cutscene.Target the crystal nearby and keep shining lumos duo spell on it until it lights up.Now go towards te mirror and step on it.Change its position so that it deflects the light coming from the crystal onto the eye.In other words you have to move it left four times.Now go through the newly opened gate.Continue forward and go through the door.Follow the path around the balcony and take out the annoying toys.Go through the door. Go through another door.Head left and go through yet another door.Watch the cutscene.You have to take out this monster robot.He is exactly same as the monster book.Use expeliarmus to deflect its rockets or hit it with a flipendo when its rocket launchers are open.The deflected rockets dont damage him but protect you.You have to use flipendo to defeat him.Watch the cutscene once he is defeated.Now target the crystal ball on the train and shine lumos on it till it lights up.This opens the cage of the door.Now drop down.If you had read my enemies section you would know that ghouls dont like light.So shine lumos on him and guide him into the cage for a cutscene.Now trace your path back to the gryfindor common room.Go to the Fat Lady's Corridor for a cutscene.You can end the day now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4-DAY 4...Buckbeak Tasks: Attend Care Of Magical Creatures Class In The Grounds Follow Ron Into The Dungeon Escape From The Dungeons To The Entrance Hall Watch the cutscene.Follow the now familiar path all the way to the grand stair case and then enter the entrance hall.Follow the familiar path down the stairs and go towards the big door leading to the hogwarts grounds.Enter it.Go left and then staright forward and then right and IMMEDIATELY left.Cross the tunnel bridge.You will have reached the grounds.Just keep going straight forward until you see hagrid.See the cutscene.Go near buckbeack as either Harry or Hermione and press X to bow.Cutscene.Now run forward a little and press O to start fly- ing.Press X to brake if you need.Catch as many bat you can in the time limit. You have to catch 90% if them for an A grade.Any grade above F grade is accept- able for progressing.Watch cutscene. Go straight ahead and go through the door leading to the fourth floor corridor. Watch the cutscene.You have to battle reeves again.Just keep him targeted and let him have the flipendoes.Keep at it till he goes away.Go through the door leading to the study area on your right.Cutscene.Go to the right corner of the room.Take out the three flying books and go through the door leading to the grand staircase.Watch the cutscene.Go all the way down and enter the door leading to the entrance hall.Follow the familiar path down the stairs.Cutscene. GO through the entrance on your right and descend all the stairs.Go through the door leading to the dungeon corridor.Watch the cutscene. You have to avoid being seen.Wait for the armor's vision to turn away and hide in the alcove,the one with the door leading to the potions class room.Wait for both the next armor's to turn their visiona way before hiding in the alcove opposite your current position.Now go through the entrance for a cutscene.Now switch to Ron,one of the walls here can be opened.Search for it and open it. Go through the entrance for a cutscene.You now have to battle a whole army of red caps.Read my enemies section for more info and take them all out.Keep following the stairs down while taking them out.Drop down the ledge at the end. Climb up the nearby ledge and head all the way right.At thend will be an owl post andd a chest nearby.Take the owl treat in the chest and call headwig.Feed him.You now get control of him.Keep the O button pressed.Head forward all the way and then left and left again.Fly up all the stairs and go through the door for a cutscene. Now go forward towards the locked gate.Have harry and ron lift it and hermione crawl under it.Go forward across the bridge.Use glacius to freeze the fiery opponents.The bridge infront of you is broken so head for the bridge on your right.Freeze the fireballs and keep going forward.Herte you will see three red caps,up the ledges.Target them from here and take all three out.Now go to- wards that small steady stream of water nearby and freeze it.Use it to get on the upper platform,freeze another water stream and use it to get on another upper platform.Freeze one last stream of water.Get on top and take out all red caps.Go through the nearby opening.Go towards the bridge for a cutscene. Go straight ahed and rop down.Target the crate and unleash two flipendoes at it.Now climb up the ledge.Go straight forward,drop down and go straight to the reparo spell book.Press X to get it.Now select the reparo spell,in place of any spell you like.Turn around and repair the broken crate.Use it to get on the ledge.Go forward and repair the broken crate again.Go near it and press X to grab it.Push it down.Grab it and oush it near the ledge.Get on it via the crate.Repair the bridge and go across it.Go forward and drop down.Do it twice more.Follow the path back.Go across the bridge.Don't go on the broken bridge on your right yet.Instead go left and towards the gate harry and ron were holding. Repair the crate near the switch and get on it.Press the switch to open the gate.Now go towards the broken bridge.Repair it,go across it and freeze the two fireballs.Then switch to ron and take care of the hinky punks as you did last time.Watch the mini cutscene and head up the stairs nearby.Go forward and then left and head up the stairs again.Take out the red cap and proceed up the sta- irs.Head left for a cutscene. You have to avoid detection.Go forward and then right,through the bookcases. A little forward to the left is a permanent armor,so you cant sneak by him. Wait for other armor to turn his vision away and go towards the space between the bookcases,the one with the broken crate and go as HERMIONE.Reapair the crate and get on the bookshelf.Move forward a little so that when you drop,you have a book shelf for cover.Drop down.A prefect is patrolling the area across the bookshelf.Wait for him to go the other side and quickly enter the nearby door.You DONT have to make each character follow individually.They will auto- matically be with you when you go through the door. You have to avoid three armor's.You sneaked past this area in the beginning of the day,so this should be familiar.Avoid the armor's and enter the door at the end.Follow the path up the stairs and enter the door leading to the entrance hall.Follow the path up all the stairs for a cutscene.Time to end the day.Do it unless you have other plans. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5-DAY 5...Carpe Retractum Tasks: Collect Ingredients For The Antidote To Uncommon Poisons Go to the potions classroom to mix the antidote to uncommon poisons Attend The Charms Class On The Second Floor Colect The Carpe Retractum Spell Book Watch The cutscene.Follow the familiar path to the grand staircase and go all the way down and through the entrance hall and out to the hogwart grounds.Go towards hagrid's hut.Talk to him.He will give you hints about the potions items All four potion's ingredients will have a BIG,LONG and shinly yellowish light near there area.There is one light exactly north of hagrid's hut.Go to it.Here you will see chizpurfle carapaces (the small brownish things) and a couple of venemous tentacula (bad-ass looking plants).You have to use ron to shine light onto the chizpurfle carapaces using lumos duo and guide them near the venemous tentacula.It will then eat them and spit them out and you can then collect it. Do it for all three chizpurfles and after that go back to hagrid's hut.You have 2/4 ingredients currently. At hagrid's hut,go to buckbeak as either harry or hermione and bow to it.Now fly towards the tunnel bridge.Here you will notice another light.And don't worry about you pals.They will get there autmatically.Anyhows,the light is to the right of the bridge.Here you will notice billywigs flying.(small blue colo- ured humming bird type thing).Fly buckbeak straight into these things.He will catch them automatically.you have to collect three so do it.You now have 3/4 ingredients.Just one is left.Now whilst on buckbeak,take a full flying circle of the whole school.You will notice another light in a green house sort of thing.Land down and first freeze the fire using glacius and then collect the fire seeds.You need three so do it.You now have all 4/4 potions ingredients. Now go back to hagrid's hut and land buckbeak there and go all the way back to the potions classroom in the dungeons for a cutscene. Now go to the second floor and enter the door leading into the charms class. Follow the path across the book cases and enter the door leading to the charms class room at the end.Watch the cutscene.You now have to get the carpe retractum spell book for harry. Go forward and you will see a short suggestive cutscene.The door is locked so ignore it and change to hermione.Have glacius ready and take out all 8 of the fiery opponents.The door will open after they are all down.Go through it.Follow the path to the end.Here you will see three red hot switches.First use hermione to freeze all three switches and then one by one all three grab onto one switch for a cutscene.RED CAP INVASION!take them all out.You will keep encountering these until you get all the way down.When you finally reach down,go through the nearby opening.Go ahead and have harry and ron lift the gate.Have hermione crawl under it.Go through the opening ahead.You will see green waterly type thing stored up ahead.Avoid falling in.Just keep targeting and using glacius spell to make an ice path and go all the way to the end.Dont bother with the door here,its locked but on our left qill be a switch.Press it to open the gate and harry and ron will come out.Now go to the door you tried earlier,its open now.Go through it.Go forward and take out the red cap on your left.Keep follow- ing the path.You will encounter two doxy's.Try to avoid being bitten.If you do get bitten then use the antidote to uncommon poisons quickly.Take out both doxies and continue.Take out the red cap and go through the door at the end. Go up the stairs,another puzzle. Ok,first break all crates and take out ALL doxy's.If you get poisoned,use the anti-dote.If you run out antidotes,there are two nearby,up on a ledge.There are 4 doxy's which you must take down.After you take them out,go to the ledge on your left,the one with the mirror.Freeze the water stream near it and use it to get on the ledge,where the mirror is.Step on the mirror and move it right twice.Now drop down and go the big ledge which has two water streams coming out from it.Freeze the right one and use it to get on the ledge.Push the button nearby.Watch the cutscene in which a small water puddle is formed.Drop down and use glacius to convert it into an ice block.Now inspect the slimy green trail on which the ice block stands.Near the enrtrance (from where you entered this area) should be a switch on the slimy green trail.You have push the ice block on that switch.Now go to the ice block and push it forward,in the direction where the switch was i-e the right side.Hope you smashed all crates in this room,if not that do it now.Now push the ice block forward.Remember this place. Now you have to push it right but before you do so,head right and repair the smashed crate here.Now push the ice block right.Now go back to the place i told you to remember.Formerly,there were two crates here.Repair the one which is to the left,NOT the one which blocks the way to the switch,the other one.Now go to where the ice block is and smash the crate behind it.Now push it in the path of the crate you just repaired.Now push the ice block onto the switch.Finally you are done with this puzzle as the gate opens.So freeze the water stream of that ledge and get on it via the frozen stream.Head up the stairs. Go forward and follow the path right taking care of the red caps on the way. Head left at the end and go through the door.Watch the suggestive cutscene.Use reparo to repair the broken wheel works.Now hit the wheel work three times with a flipendo.Get on the recently lowered platform.Follow the path onto the bridge You can't repair the broken bridge yet so bear left at the castle type thing and go around it.Go towards the switch and press it.Cutscene.Harry and ron will now join you.Now shift to harry and climb on the rope which is on the platform. Cimb it to the platform and hug the wall.Move left until you reach the switch. Press it.Watch cutscene.Enter through the gate and follow the path left.Watch the suggestive cutscene.Switch to hermione and target and repair part of the bridge.Continue forward repeating and take care of the red cap.Follow the path to the end while repairing and take out the red caps.Make sure both characters cross the bridge and then get on the stairs.Keep following the path.Enter through the door at the end for a cutscene. First switch to ron and take care of the hinky punks.Watch the suggestive cutscene.Go towards the platform with a crystal ball and water stream coming out from below.Have hermione freeze it and have ron get on the ledge.Shine bright light onto the crystal ball using lumos duo until it lights up.Now drop down.Go towards the ledge where the crystal ball is reflecting the light.The one in which the mirror is in the wrong position.Have hermione freeze the water stream coming out of it and then get on top of it.Move it to the right twice. This will make an ice puddle on the small crystal on the floor.Use hermione to freeze that ice puddle into an ice block.Now examine the platform in the centre of the area.It has an eye on it.Now go towards the ice block and push it in the forward direction.In the direction where the stairs are if you go straight ahead.Now push the block left.Now push it left again.Finally,this puzzle is also complete.This makes a stairway. Go up it.Go towards the shield and enter the door.Switch to ron.Follow the path left taking out hinky punks on the way.Enter the opening at the end and go through the door.Push the switch on your left.This free's harry and completes the stairway.As harry head left and jump on the platform with the rope.Climb up it and hug the wall.Move to the right,towards the wheel works.Hit it as usual. This has raised the platform you were on just two seconds ago.You can now go through the door.So jump over the gap and enter the door.Follow the path right. Head left and enter the door.Now go up all the stairs towards the carpe retrac- tum spell book.Press X near it for a cutscene. Add the carpe retractum spell in place of expeliarmus.Before you try your new spell.Lock-on and take out at least two red caps from this position.Now roughly target the statue and pull yourself across by pressing down on the left analog once.Head left and grab the bridge using carpe retractum and pull it towards yourself.Take out the two red caps.Go through the door.Head left and go down the stairs.Go right and head down the stairs again and go through the door. You should notice the small vent type gate in front of you.Use carpe retractum to pull it open.Now open the door onyour left and pull the bridge towards you using carpe retractum.It will not come all the way.Now jump on it,turn around and pull the other side towards the bridge.Now call your pals and go through the door again. Have hermione go through that small vent type thing you opened earlier.Go right and press the switch BEFORE going through the door.Now all three of you, go through the door.You will encounter an army of red caps.TAKE THEM ALL OUT! Go through the door at the end. Cutscene.Time for a boss again.Avoid the armor when it is spinning.When it stops spinning,use carpe retractum as harry to pull of one of its shields.It turns ito some sort of shield creature so use flipendoes on it to take it out. Repeat this four times for a cutscene.Now avoid his spinning and the bomb type things he throws and when he stops,use carpe retractum to pull his head off for a cutscene.Now go through the door.Cutscene.Finally this level is complete. End the day for some well deserved rest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6-DAY 6...The Patronus Tasks: Meet Professor lupin in the History of Magic Classroom on the fourth floor. Get the Expecto Patronum Spell Book Open And Enter The Gunhilda Of Gorsemoore statue on third floor Return To Gryfindor Common Room Watch The Cutscene.Follow the familiar path to the grand staircase and go to the fourth floor (History Of Magic).Go through the door.Look for a door leading to the fourth floor corridor in the centre of the room.Go through it.Head forward and then right and follow the corridor to the end.The door leads to the classroom so go through it for a cutscene. You are alone now.Face left and go towards that box type thing with a red sign on it.Grab it and push it into the red floor patch type thing.Small cutscene.A statue pops out,so use carpe retractum to get across.Again grab and push this box type thing into the red patch in the floor.This will open the gate nearby. So head up the stairs for a cutscene. Another puzzle sort of thing.Face a little to the right and pull yourself on this platform using carpe retractum.Cutscene and the boggart shows up.Dont ignore him because he may be a boggart but packs the same amount of heat as a normal dementor.This dementor will be like any other dementor and will try to suck your soul out so wiggle the left analog stick if that's the case.OK now, here's some information.This is the most toughest puzzle of the game and there have been many cries about it being different then the strategy posted.It seems that this puzzle is random for every different gamer.That's why if a strategy is posted it does'nt work on most gamers.So i will not post a strategy but will give a one or two general tips.Certain statues pop up at certain times,so keep an eye out for them.Plus ignore the dementor as much as you can.There are four of these box type things(with red signs on them) which you encountered earlier.You have to push these into the red patch on the platform to open one of the four gates.You have to open all four.So just focus you attention on getting too the platform with these things and you will end up finishing this section in less then 10 minutes.Go through the open gate when you are done with all four boxes. Use carpe retractum to pull yourself across and go towards the expecto petronum spell book.Press X near it for a cutscene.You now have to take out that boggart using this spell.Refer to my spells section of the faq to know how to use this spell and take him out for a cutscene. Time for another spell.Instead of entering the door leading to the fourth floor corridor,go to the back of the room and towards the metal gate.Have your female pal crawl under it.Go forward and press X near the book for a cutscene. You now have the draconifers spell book.Refer to my spells section for more information.Now turn around and use draconifers on the satue near the rug.Crawl under the gate and go through the door leading to the fourth floor corridor. Follow the corridor and head through the door leading to the study area on your left.Watch the suggestive Cutscene and go towards the rug as hermione and use draconifers to burn down the rug. Go through this door.Go through the opening on your right an go down the stairs Enter through the door.Take out the stupid flying books and go to the end of the room.Burn down the rug using draconifors and go through the door.You have to go through the door on your right side.There is a prefect across the book case to your right.Wait for his patrol to be on the opposite site and run through the book cases towards the door.Go through it.Dont worry about your freinds as they will get there automatically.Follow the grand staircase to the third floor and enter. Right in front of you is an armor plus one other on the right side.Turn your camera around and wait for the armor on the right side to turn his vision AWAY from the book case while simultaneously keeping an eye out for the prefect.When both are in opposite direction,run to that book case and hug it.Wait for the prfect to patrol in the oppsite direction and run for the book case near the rug,on the left side.IGNORE the rug and wait for the prefect to go to the other side and then run through the book case avoiding the armors and enter the door leading into the gunhilda of gorsemoor corridor. Wait for both armor to position away before going in-between them.Head down the stairs.Follow the same strategy of going in-between the armor's vision's when both are on the oppoite side and make your way to the end.Cutscene.Go forward and around the house for a cutscene.You now have to battle Malfoy and Co again. Take all three of them out.You automatically switch to hermione.First use the reparo spell the dragon statue nearby to repair it and then use draconifers on it.This will bring out the fairies.Now capture them,hit them once by casting a flipendo and then freeze them using glacius while they are on the ground.You need to capture 3 fairies.Do it for a cutscene.Yo now have to repel as many dementors as you can until hermione and ron break down the fence.Keep using the patronus charm at the dementors until a the life bar on the bottom left corner finishes which will start a cutscene. Shift to hermione.Wait for professor snapes to be on the other side and quickly head up the stairs on your left.You will notice a rug.Burn it down using the draconifers spell.Go through the door and another door here.Drop down from the balcony here and go towards the door avoiding the armor.Enter it.You have been through this area before,so avoid the armors and PREFECT and carefully make your way to the door leading to the grand staircase and enter it.Now go to the top most i-e seventh floor.Go through the door.Watch cutscene.Go forward and you will notice the door going to The Fat Lady's Corridor is locked.So head left to the door leading to the north wing and go through it. Switch to ron.Select dungbomb from your arsenal.Look in the bookcases if you dont have any.Go forward.Keep to the extreme left and go to the space between the book cases right next to that troll.Throw a dungbomb some where to distract him and sneak by him and into the space between another two long book shelves. Carefully move to the right,around the bookcase.There is a troll straight ahead but he cant see you at this distance so run for cover behind that brown chair. Throw a dung bomb near by and go around the chair and head for the other book case.Keep to the left as there is a troll right next to the book case.Now this part is alittle tricky as there are two trolls nearby.Throw a dung bomb near the troll and go around the book shelf keeping as left as you can and hug the book case.There is one last troll between you and the door.Experiemt throwing dungbombs from as far as you can.If he doesnt notice,move a little forward and throw another one.When he finally notices,quickly sneak behind him and go to that door and enter.Now head towards the left for a cutscene.You should now end the day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7-DAY 7...Hollow Victory Tasks: Collect Ingreidents for the girding potion. Go to The Potions Class To Mix The Girding Potion Collect The Qudditch Ball Crate from the courtyard in front of the clock tower Watch The cutscene.Follow the familiar path all the way outside to hogwarts grounds.There will be a light near hagrids hut.Go near it to see the annoying doxy's.Anyhows kill them and if you get poisoned frink an anti-dote.Use carpe retractum to pull their eggs off the tree.You need three.This makes 2/4 items. Now head for buckbeak and get on him,as HARRY.Fly to the far end of the school. Here you will notice a boat house.Land buck beak and use carpe retractum to pull out three sea horses.You need three of them.This makes it 3/4 items.Now since buckbeak has gone,keep following the fairly simple path until you reach a cuortyard with a fountain in the middle.Notice the dragon statue here,use the draconifers spell when the dragon flies are nearby to toast them.You need three of them.This makes it 4/4. Follow the path out of the courtyard.Go left and then turn right at the corner. You will now be outside.Keep following the path left until you see the tunnel bridge.Go for it.Hereonwards,the path is very simple so go back inside the school and go to the potions class in the dungeons.Watch the cutscene. Those cheaters.Go outside into the hogwarts ground fora cutscene and another one when you actually reach the gounds.Head towards hagrid's hut as HERMIONE.Bow to buckbeak and get on him.You have a time-limit of sixty seconds to get to the clock tower courtyard.Land there and get off.Now you have 120 seconds to freeze the puddle nearby using glacius and get on it.Use draconifers on the statue nearby and watch the cutscene.You now have another time-limit.90 seconds before the match starts.Get on buckbeak and get to that part of the stadium which has four team flags.Land near it and get off.Go towards the gate for a cutscene.You should now end the day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8-DAY 8...Expecto Patronum! Tasks: Visit Hagrid at his hut in the grounds. Watch the cutscene.It would be useful if you buy a couple of wiggenweld potions and antidote to uncommon poison for all three characters from Fred And George's shop,BEFORE going to hagrid's hut.Anyhows,follow the familiar path to hagrid's hut,AVOIDING the trolls as you did last time.Its the same path,just in reverse. You will see a cutscene in which the whomping willow takes in Ron. Go forward and follow the path down the stairs and go left.Go forward and then right.Take out the red caps.Continue forward and then head left.Go through the door.Take out three fire salamanders as you did last time.Continue forward as harry and use the carpe retractum spell to join the bridge.There seems to be a programming error in this level,many people have reported that the other character does NOT come if you press the L1 button.So be sure to move all characters manually if that happens.Anyhows,cross the bridge and take out even more fire slamanders.Go through the door.Follow the stairs down and go through the door. There are a couple of doxies in this room.Take them out.Try not to get poisoned beacause if you do,then i HOPE you followed my advice and bought a couple of antidotes.Anyhows,go through the door on your right.Follow the path.Drop down the ledge below as HERMIONE and use reparo to repair the box.Bring it to the ledge on which the red caps are and take them out.You can also take most of them out before getting on the ledge,which i recommend.Lock-on to as many red caps as you can and then take them out,get on the ledge VIA the repaired box. You should notice a switch on the wall,its above your height.Both of you grab the trunk nearby and bring it under the switch.Push the switch to open the gate and go through it for a cutscene. Currently there is nothing you can do except drag sirius back.If a dementor gets hold,then wiggle the left analog until it lets go.Just keep dragging sirius until a short cutscene starts after which you will drop sirius.Now keep using the patronus charm on the dementors until a cutscene begins. Now you have to make your way through the dementors to the actual dementor who is attacking sirius.Its best to take a couple of tries to clear a path between the dementers and then go for the actual one.It needs 5-6 hits to be taken out. Keep an eye on both stamina bars,the one of the dementor and that of sirius.If his finishes first,you lose.If the dementor's stamina finishes first,you win and you will see a cutscene.
