Basics & Techniques This section explains various techniques you can perform in the game, the basics of the game, usually you'll do fine with intuition and the instruction manual, but some of those might not appear clear right off, this hopefully will clarify everything. I suggest you try out the Tutorial for a REAL training first hand, Max Payne is NOT a walk in the park even at Fugitive. **************************HEALTH & BULLET TIME************************* Max is far from being a super-hero, he can't take that many bullets into him without going down, he'll recover a small amount of health over time, but it's really minimal, Painkillers are the only way to recover health on the spot, and they don't take effect until a few moments, darkening an amount of damage on Max' health bar, which will slowly decreses, damage received will add on top of the darkened portion, so you can still die even if part of your health is darkened and healing. Bullet time is the small hourglass next to his health, the only way to fill it up is to take down foes, with each enemy killed, it recovers a little, and goes down as you use Bullet Time. ******************************SHOOTDODGING***************************** Like Max can roll in any direction to avoid incoming shots, he can also dodge and shoot at the main time, this ability consists in him quickly jumping in the direction you're holding the directional button (Whichever control setting you use) and activating Bullet Time for a short moment while he executes the jump. You can then dodge incoming shots and quickly retaliate while the dodge is executed by the simple press of a button, the amount of Bullet Time necessary is low, but try to keep the uses meaningful, as Bullet Time is sort of a "Life Savior" at many moments. It will automaticly end as soon as Max touches the ground after jumping, he'll continue into a roll and get back on his feet right away. Take heed that you can't fire your guns during a regular roll. ******************************BULLET TIME***************************** While you can Shootdodge, you can also trigger bullet-time when standing still or moving, allowing you to slow down the action whenever in a tight-spot, this requires a mastery of aiming because the aiming is in real time, and you don't get that much Bullet Time to use as it depletes quite fast. The whole environment is slowed down, the bullets travel slower, enemies move slower, Max is slower as well, the only thing that is not affected is his ability to pull the trigger and aim just like in real time. This ability should be used when dispatching groups of enemies, that way you will shorten your loss of Bullet Time since you're taking down foes while doing it. For reasons I'm unaware of, the gun you're carrying seems to reload fully everytime you use Bullet Time. *******************************GUNFIGHTS****************************** You'll always be outnumbered in Max Payne, there's only one Max, but there's legions of outlaws to fight and they're quite the aggressive kind. Try to always rely on strafing, rolling, firing a few shots and going for cover. Busting into a room full of bad guys and just standing there picking them off one by one guarantees heavy damage or sure death (Usually the latter). Max Payne has many firearms at his disposition for a reason, only use a melee weapon when you got nothing else, or when you don't want to alert the whole neighborhood, few occasions will arise when yo ucan use this, but there will be some. Jumping is a bad idea, it makes you an obvious target and you can't fire while jumping. Be quick and deadly by avoiding un-necessary movements. ****************************JUMPING AND FALLS************************** Falls hurt, and they can do so at a very short distance, don't fall off ledges unless it's not too far below, as well, don't engage in jumping sequences when enemies are around, chances are they'll knock off your timing and generally lead to a loss of health (Whether from a fall or bullets). You'll have to execute a few tricky jumps at various areas in this game and a small mistake can lead to you restarting to the beginning of the area. *******************************INTERACTION***************************** Max will encounter quite a few items in his journey, which you can sometimes interact with, when an "!" mark appears over him, it means there's an item to use nearby, usually in the direction where Max is looking. Be sure to break wooden boxes and open various closets/lockers for items and often, much needed ammunition. *****************************DANGEROUS ITEMS*************************** The obvious are Grenades or explosive materials, which, ofcourse, you should be careful of when using, or run away as fast as you can when targeted by them, but there's also the random scenery item that can explode in your face, likely to be barrels, either use them agaianst your enemies, or stray away from the barrels to avoid being caught up in an explosion. ******************************ENEMIES' ITEMS*************************** Every time you kill an enemy, they'll drop their weapons for you to collect, along with their ammo for them, depending on how much their fired shots of the weapon, if they had Grenades, you need to have shto them down before they could use them (or it). ******************************CINEMATIC KILLS************************** Usually depending on how you kill an enemy, a sequence will kick-in in slow-motion and the camera will span around the enemy showing his death at your hands. I don't know the exact conditions for this, but it seems to be the last enemy in a set area, and depending on the kind of way you dispose of him (Like a close-up Shotgun shot in the chest can trigger one). Note that every sniper shot will trigger a "following bullet" camera while the enemy is killed. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Weapons & Items This section lists every weapon and item available in the game for use by Max Payne, as well as their specifications, etc... ********************************LEAD PIPE****************************** Clip- N/A (Obviously, an infinite supply of Lead Pipes? Nah...) Damage- Low. Reload Time- N/A. Rate of Fire- Medium/Fast. Description- A very short lead pipe dealing poor damage with a single swing, the only "advantage" is that you can deal a lot of repetitive hits from up close, and rather silently. Apart from that, using this weapon is relative to asking for death. You start with it and it's pretty much an alternative if you run out of ammo for your guns (Which you should not, obviously). *******************************BASEBALL BAT**************************** Clip- N/A. Damage- Low. Reload Time- N/A. Rate of Fire- Medium/Fast. Description- There's apparently little difference between this and the Lead Pipe. This one has a little bit more range, but doesn't seem to carry more power with each swing, better than the Lead Pipe if only for the additional range. *********************************BERETTA******************************* Clip- 18 Bullets. Damage- Low/Moderate. Reload Time- Fast. Rate of Fire- Medium. Description- Your standard handgun, fires single bullets where you aim at, there's not much to say about this one since it's the weapon you start with. Rely on this one while you have nothing better, but use other guns as you obtain then. The good thing about handguns like these is that you can easily aim for specific areas of the body and be nearly sure to hit over a medium distance as well as a fast reload. ******************************DUAL BERETTAS**************************** Clip- 36 Bullets (18 in each). Damage- Moderate. Reload Time- Fast. Rate of Fire- Medium/Fast. Description- Think of these as a souped-up single Beretta, you can fire twice as fast (Since it's 2 guns) and twice as many bullets. Quite useful until you get a machinegun, or even when you're out of machinegun ammo. The fast reload of both guns plays in your favor in gunfights, as the pause between firing and reloading is minimal. ******************************DESERT EAGLE***************************** Clip- 12 Bullets. Damage- Moderate/High. Reload Time- Moderate/Fast. Rate of Fire- Slow/Medium. Description- A powerful handgun, the reload is slower than the Beretta (Only by a little bit), but the main problem is that you can't fire it as quickly as the Berettas, the gun packs quite a punch, but unless your aim is good, you'll end up wasting bullets and time. This is a great choice for accurate pick-offs when your aim is good, as it can kill enemies far more quickly than the Berettas, Bullet Time is deadly with this. ****************************SAWED-OFF SHOTGUN************************** Clip- 2 Shells. Damage- High up-close, Low/Moderate over long distances. Reload Time- Slow. Rate of Fire- Fast. Description- A shotgun that fires quickly and carries about the same stopping power as the Pump-Action kind. Even though it's faster to fire 2 shells, there's no clip and the shells are introduced directly into the barrel, making it impossible to have more than 2 shells in the gun at any time. Use this weapon as a quick "2-shots" alternative to the Pump-Action Shotgun (As you can fire 2 shots of it during a shootdodge as opposed ot the Pump-Action). ***************************PUMP-ACTION SHOTGUN************************* Clip- 7 Shells. Damage- High up-close, Low/Moderate over long distances. Reload Time- Slow/Moderate. Rate of Fire- Slow. Description- Great for taking out grouped foes in a few up-close shots, the spread effects allows you to waste many opponents, but loses much of its effect over the distance, making it useless for anything but face-to-face gunfights. The reload is slow as well, only 1 shell at a time, making it nearly impossible to reload completly in the middle of a fight without taking damage. The rate of fire is pretty slow, so using Bullet Time is not the best idea with this weapon, you won't get off many shots with this. *******************************JACKHAMMER****************************** Clip- 12 Shells. Damage- High up-close, Moderate over long distances. Reload Time- Moderate. Rate of Fire- Moderate. Description- The best Shotgun there is, it carries 12 Shells and reloads at an acceptable speed, packs a good amount of power and you can fire it quite fast (In fact, 4 to 5 Shells per shootdodge!). A great weapon to use againast nearby crowds, too bad you obtain it near the end of the game... *********************************INGRAM******************************** Clip- 50 Bullets. Damage- Low/Moderate. Reload Time- Moderate. Rate of Fire- Very High. Description- Why they named it an Ingram is anybody's guess, this is basicly an Uzi, press the trigger and it unloads bullets at very high speed. The drawback for this is that no accuracy is possible over the distance, as well as it consumes ammo like crazy considering it's rate of fire, from up close it's a great weapon. If your aim is good, focus on more economic weapons (The Shotgun is as effective up close, if not a faster means of expedition), otherwise this one is perfect for rushing in and spreading firepower everywhere. ******************************DUAL INGRAMS***************************** Clip- 100 Bullets (50 per gun). Damage- Moderate. Reload Time- Moderate. Rate of Fire- Very High. Description- THE weapon to rush in up close, you got enough ammo to take on many enemies with those, and from close to medium distance, you,re nearly certain to hit your target, if the Shotgun is too quirky for you, use these during your Shootdodges, once yo uget your hands on two of them, you should find yourself using the handguns a bit less. ******************************COLT COMMANDO**************************** Clip- 30 Bullets. Damage- High. Reload Time- Moderate. Rate of Fire- Moderate/High. Description- What looks like an M-16 or whatever the actual name is, it doesn't fire bullets as fast as an Ingram, but is more accurate over the distance, as well as packing a lot more punch per shots, once you get this weapon, you should take large advantage of it during gunfights againast multiple thugs, you can bring down quite a few of them in shootdodges with this weapon. ****************************MOLOTOV COCKTAIL*************************** Clip- N/A (You only throw one at a time, yes?) Damage- Very High/Extreme. Reload Time- N/A. Rate of Fire- Explosion upon impact. Description- An alcohol-filled bottle that's highly flammable, it will explode in a fiery mess upon impact, leaving a small area burning for a short period of time. The damage deal by the initial explosion is heavy, and the fire remaining can hinder some troops. but the explosion itself is of small magnitude, and the damage is not as direct as the grenade, but it's instant. A good weapon to use against groups from afar. ********************************GRENADES******************************* Clip- N/A (You only throw one at a time, yes?) Damage- Extreme. Reload Time- N/A. Rate of Fire- 3 to 5 seconds before explosion. Description- As with a lot of shooters, pull the pin and throw. That,s how Grenades work, the explosion will kill any thugs in the vicinity of it... and you included if you're near the explosion. Don't use in tight spaces unless you're sure not to get hit by it as well. Avoid these during firefights, as you're likely to miss your shot, unless there's a large distance between you and a pack of thugs. ***********************************M79********************************* Clip- 1 Grenade. Damage- Extreme. Reload Time- Slow. Rate of Fire- Very Slow. Description- A weapon of mass-destruction, one could say, but with various drawbacks, you can instantly blow up groups of thugs with this one, but you need to be safe from the blast, and if there's one remaining, you'll be stuck with a slow reload in your hands, shootdodging with this ain't the best idea either. It's great firepower, but with a hefty price bill. ******************************SNIPER RIFLE***************************** Clip- 5 Bullets. Damage- Very High. Reload Time- Slow. Rate of Fire- Very Slow. Description- Your basic killer firearm, it drags around it's share of noise as well, so only use this one when necessary, or when you don't care about being stealthy, as firing this will alert everybody nearby of your presence (Minus your target, which will be dead, hopefully). The zooming feature makes aiming quite easy, and you can use Bullet Time to aim even more precisely, the head is the hardest part of the body to hit, but also warrants instant death if you do hit it. Aim for the heart with the sniper rifle (In the middle of the chest, a little below the neck) for an equal effect, and a relativly larger target. You can't execute a Shootdodge with this weapon, you shouldn't use it in close range anyways, keep your ammo for those long-distance kills. *******************************PAINKILLERS***************************** Description- Your source of healing in the game, consume one and part of your health will be restored, but not instantly. It will first darken a bit and slowly decrease, and damage is added on top of the portion that is healing, so consume these while in the clear, taking one in mid battle will only help you a little bit. Try to focus on not getting hit rather than using these. You can carry 8 of them as your maximum, make them count. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Walkthrough This section contains the complete walkthrough to finish the game, spoilers about story sequences are kept to a minimum when possible, every location of items should be marked out in this section as well as every enemies' location (I might have missed a secret area or two though), this walkthrough was done at Fugitive difficulty, it might work differently at higher difficulties. Bullet amounts found might not be the exact amount (I wasn't keeping track of my bullet amounts at all times). Every item in every level should be collected in this walkthrough. *********************************************************************** PART I: THE AMERICAN DREAM ********************************PROLOGUE******************************* After the intro, you'll be at the entrance of your house, walk a few steps and Max will say "What the hell?!", examine the graffiti on the left wall between the two drawers to trigger a short scene. Go forward through the doorway and wacth the small scene showing the ringing phone (Max takes out his Beretta at this point for you to use at will, it has 117 Bullets). Head along the corridor to the right and open the first closet on the right wall to collect the Pump-Action Shotgun inside and 5 Shells. Pick up the phone on the drawers to the left to trigger a cutscene. Continue down this corridor to the next room with a stairway and go upthe stairway, listen to the scene at the top of the stairs. Ready your Pump-Action Shotgun and head to the left. A green-dressed thug will open the door ahead of you in a scene. Quickly unload the first shell into him after the cutscene ends (Killing him on the spot before he can fire a single shot) and wait for his buddy to show up behind him, nail him with a single shell as well. You should collect your 2nd Beretta off the first guy and go into the baby's room ahead. Another small cutscene plays out, head into the corridor to the left through the door that the 2nd thug opened. Collect the Baseball Bat in the upper-right corner. Open the doorway on the left wall at the end of this corridor and quickly fire a single shell at the last thug at the end of the room right in front of you. Enter the room and watch the ensuing conclusion of the Prologue. ********************CHAPTER 1: ROSCOE STREET STATION******************* Now on for the real deal, after the various cutscenes, you'll disembark at Roscoe Street Station. You don't have an equipable weapon at this time even if Max mentions having a Beretta on him, the station is closed, so no use trying to go up the stairs to the outside. Go forward to the trashcan laying on the floor and head through the doorway on the left to a corridor. Turn to the right and head forward to the next door. Watch the cutscene and you'll automaticly obtain a Beretta (18 Bullets included) and a Lead Pipe for your use now. Open the locker in front of you to collect 30 Beretta Bullets and head to the right of the door from which you came from, check the locker on the wall there for 1 Painkiller. Check the row of lockers behind you and open the first one for 30 Beretta Bullets. Exit this room from the same door you used to get there. Listen to the conversation on-going outside in the station, once they're done, ready your Beretta and bolt out the door. Both guys are away from you near the train tracks and armed with Desert Eagles, their aim is rather poor, so run towards them while gunning in their direction, as long as your aim is good, they'll go down easy. (If you lack confidence, use a Shootdodge, just don't waste your Painkiller). Collect the Desert Eagles they leave behind and go up the opened door to the stairway in front of the last door you came out of. Listen to the short conversation of the next thugs ahead and stand near the corner to the right. Shootdodge to the left into the corridor and quickly unload your Beretta into both thugs inside the corridor itself, theyshouldn't even have the time to take cover if pulled correctly. Collect the Desert Eagle ammo they leave behind, go down the corridor and you'll hear another thug yell. Stay on the corner to the left and quickly shootdodge to the right into the corridor. Unload your Beretta into the thug behind the bars, he's close enough to make an easy target. You can't go throguh the barred door, so go down the stairs behind you. Turn to the right at the bottom and you'll spot another train station, go forward a bit and you'll hear somebody cough. Head to the left in the train station and stay on the corner to the left before the next passage, the guy is just around the corner and looking your way. Shootdodge to the right with your Beretta and nail him 2 times to kill him. Pick up the Pump-Action Shotgun he drops and go through the doorway behind him to get to the save point. ************************SO MUCH FOR BEING SUBTLE*********************** Go down the stairs on the left and stop before the corner, listen to the thug and shootdodge to the right, quickly take down the thug down the stairs (He's armed with a Shotgun, hence the most dangerous). Equip the Shotgun and shootdodge to the left down the stairs, shoot the Shotgun once between the two guys guarding the door there and that should take both of them down for the count. Collect the Shotgun Shells, Dual Berretas and Desert Eagle Bullets they leave behind. Ready your Shotgun and head to the left. Enter the yellow traincar on the tracks by the front door and go through it by the back door. COllect the Beretta on the rails there and go back to the front of the train car. Open the door in the wall to the right and quickly unload a single shell into the thug on the other side of the door to kill him before he shoots. Enter the room and you'll have to escort a security officer. Before that, collect the 5 Shotgun Shells inside the first locker to the right and go behind the row of lockers. Collect the 2 Painkillers on the bench there and open the locker on the wall for 20 Desert Eagle Bullets. Go back out of this room and to the right. Go up the stairs to the right back to where you started and the officer will unlock the door... and get shot in the cutscene. The door will close, but now it's unlocked and you know what awaits you. Ready your Dual Berretas, open the door via the control panel and head through, the room's empty since the thug took refuge in the room further ahead. Go to the left and through the door on the far wall, as soon as it's open, gun down the thug on the other side and the one behind the counter to the far end of the room ahead. Go past the first doorway and face to the right. Ready your Desert Eagle and shootdodge to the left. Shoot both thugs awaiting in the room with a bullet each (If you miss one, don't worry, the shootdodge should leave you behind cover, just pick down the other one as you get up, it's hard to pull off on first try as they hide behind cover). Collect all the ammo left behind by them and head towards the doors behind the last thugs you took down. Open the door on the right and collect the 4 Painkillers inside the medical case on the right wall. Push down button #2 in the middle of the control panels and this will start up the power for the train car below. Go back out of those rooms to the starting area and go down the nearby stairs again. Head back towards the yellow train car to the left and enter the door on the side. Turn the wheel inside to start up the train car and blast through the blockade on the rails. Go through the front door of the train car and ready your Dual Berretas. Jump over the remnants of the blockade in the way and hang on the right side of the tunnel, 3 Thugs are incoming. Shootdodge to the left and spray bullets all over the incoming targets, as soon as you fall down, immediatly shootdodge to the right to take down any of the Thugs you missed. Continue down the tunnel and go up the small stairway to the left at the end. Go through the door at the top to get to Chapter 2. ********************CHAPTER 2: ONE WAY OR THE OTHER******************** Watch the intro section of this chapter, then you'll be back behind the door you took at the end of Chapter 1. Go down the coridor and use your Lead Pipe to destroy the small crate on top of a larger one before the corner. Collect the 2 Painkillers inside and continue along the corridor until you hear 2 Thugs discuss amongst themselves. Ready your Shotgun and shootdodge around the corner. Fire a shell or two to take them down, a single shell should suffice since they're patrolling one right next to the other. Collect their ammunition and continue along the corridor. Use your Lead Pipe to blast the small crate on the last stack of large crates in the corridor and collect the 10 Shotgun Shells inside. Open the doorway to the right at the end of the corridor and shootdodge inside while looking to the left. Blast the single thug there with a shell and collect his ammunition. Go down the first set of stairs and shootdodge around the next corner, unloading a single shell at the thug standing guard there. Collect his ammunition and continue down the stairs, through the door at the bottom to a water tunnel. Drop into the tunnel and head to the right. Follow the tunnel until you hear a conversationgo forward a little bit while hugging the right wall and shootdodge to the left when you see a guard. Shoot him down with your Dual Berretas, now you'll need to go into the open to get the other 2 thugs there. Switch to the Desert Eagle and strafe along the tunnel while looking to the right. Shoot down the thugs while strafing as soon as you see them, you'll probably take some damage, but you should have 8 Painkillers by now, take one if needed. Don't bother going down the end of the tunnel, it's a dead-end. Jump on the ledge where the thugs were and collect the ammo they left. Go up the stairs in the middle of the ledge and there will be a distant explosion and rumbling, don't mind it. Once at the top of the stairs, head to the right side of the room and go towards the stairs to the left to get to the save point. ***********************LIVE FROM THE CRIME SCENE*********************** The tunnel behind you apparently collapsed for some reason. Go up the stairs a little bit and you'll hear a conversation between thugs, ready your Dual Berettas and crouch down. One of the thugs will shoot the other because he forgot the detonator, that's one down. Continue up the stairs and stay behind the stack of two boxes in the middle of the room. Once the thug shows up to the right, strafe to the right and gun him down before he can react. Collect the ammo and the Sawed-Off Shotgun they left behind. Use the Lead Pipe to destroy the small crates on the larger one and collect the 12 Desert Eagle Bullets inside the middle one. Continue down the hallway and turn to the left at the end. Go down the stairs there and shootdodge while looking to the right at the bottom of the stairs. Use your Sawed-Off Shotgun to dispose of the two thugs there (One thug per shot). Collect the ammo they left behind and go towards the wall behind them. Turn to the left and go through the small tunnel in the wall there. Listen to the conversation between the thugs and ready your Desert Eagle or Dual Berettas (Go for the latter if your aim is poor). There's quite a few of them ahead, and they're heavily armed. As soon as they're done talking, shootdodge into the room while looking to the right. Gun down the single thug in your sight range and this will alert 3 others in the room ahead of you. Head forward to the open doorway and shootdodge behind you as soon as one of the guards shows up in the doorway. Gun him down as well, the next 2 guards should show up shortly afterwards, just wait for them in the doorway with your Desert Eagle out. Once all 4 are down, collect their ammo and head into the room they were in. Keep your Desert Eagle and open the door to the left via the control panel near it. Gun down the guy right on the other side of the door, the one to the right of the counter ahead and the one behind thecounter itself. Shootdodge inside the room afterwards while looking to the left and gun down the last thug on that side of the room. Collect the ammo they all leave behind and head inside the counter area in the middle of the room. Collect the 3 Painkillers on the desk opposite to the phone and pick up the phone for a slightly funny scene. Turn around at that moment and and hit the button in the middle of the table once, it will open the doorway to the right. Head through it and examine the papers on the left side of the table there for a short cutscene. Go back to the button in the main room and press it again to open the door on the left. Head inside that room and collect the Detonator on the right side of the table. Go back to the button in the main room and hit it one last time to re-open the door by which you first accessed this room. Go through that door ahead and follow the doorways through the tunnel into the wall you used to get into the bank area. Ready your Dual Berretas and go up the stairs in this room, there's 3 new thugs at the top of the stairs, gun them down while running up the stairs (There will only one thug at first, the other two will push the bench in front of the doorway and show up afterwards, the Desert Eagle can usually pick them off easy too). One of them is armed with a Grenade, but he should die before using it if you're aiming well. Collect their ammo and the Grenade left behind. Interact with the doorway ahead of the stairway you used to get back up and you'll be at the save point. ***************************STEPPING ON TOES**************************** Listen to the short cutscene with Alex at the beginning of this stage and you'll be off on your own afterwards. Ready your Desert Eagle and turn around, shootdodge while looking to the left and gun down the thug at the top of the stairs there. As soon as he's down, 2 more thugs will come down the stairs, shoot them down as they come and collect the ammo they leave behind. Turn around and head into the small booth in the corner ahead. Open the medical cabinet on the wall inside for 4 Painkillers. Go back outside and up the stairs where the thugs were. Continue along the corridor and listen to the thugs before going around th corner, ready your Dual Berretas and shootdodge around the corner, gunning down the thugs in the room after the stairs ahead. You'll get 1 or 2 of them, afterwards they'll hide on either side of the room and you'll have to go up the stairs, ready your Desert Eagle to get rid of them at that point (There 4 thugs total in that room). Collect the ammo they leave behind and head inside the small booth ahead. Open the medical cabinet for 4 Painkillers and pull down the exit gate switch next to it. Go back out of the booth and head to the left up the stairs through the gate you just opened. Follow the corridor outside and you'll be in Chapter 3. *********************CHAPTER 3: PLAYING IT BOGART********************** Watch the rather lengthy cutscene as the intro for this stage and you'll start in the middle of a gunfight. You'll have the last weapon you had equipped in the previous stage in hand. As long as it's a firearm, you're good. Shootdodge to the left and gun down the moving target dressed in red, the guy behind the desk will probably be reloading once Max gets up, gun him down as he does so. Switch to your Pump-Action Shotgun and face the double-doors near your starting point, you'll hear a few thugs debate and then bust the door down, receive them with a few well-placed shells, that should knock out all 3 of them. Pick up all the ammo they left behind at that point. Open the safe in the upper-left corner of the room you started in for a Painkiller and pick up the letter on the desk to the right of the safe to trigger a cutscene. Open the drawer at the bottom of the shelves to the left for a Beretta and head out by the double doors the thugs broke through. Head down the stairs and through the doorway to the left. Open the medical cabinet on the right wall for 2 Painkillers. Head back out of this room and go to the right of the stairs this time. Go near the right wall and turn to the left. Continue forward to the 2 sets of drawers and open the right one for a Beretta. Head to the left to the main room. Turn to the left at the end of it and turn to the left again just before the doorway to a bedroom. Examine the radio on the counter in the small corner therefor a short cutscene. Turn around out of the corner and head to the right. Use any firearm to blast through the window there and go through to a small balcony outside. Keep your Pump-Action Shotgun handy and head to the left along the balcony, you'll come upon a door in the left wall at the end, wait on the side of it until the thugs are finished talking, then gun them down one by one as they exit via the door one after the other (There's 3 of them). Collect the ammo they left behind and head through that door. Collect the Beretta on the box near the right wall and use your Lead Pipe to blast the small crates on the left for some Beretta Ammo. Go through the doorway on the right side of the corridor to get the save point. ***************************WITHOUT WARNING***************************** Just outside the last door you went through is where you'll be. Go down the stairs to the right and open the doorway at the bottom of them (Open being a rather large word when the door just falls off). Shootdodge forward so you pass in front of the open doorway to the left and use your Sawed-Off Shotgun to dispose of the thug sitting on the chair inside the room. Collect the ammo he leaves behind (If you killed him quick, the Pump-Action Shotgun will still be inside the closet near the chair he was sitting on) and activate the bed by the nightpost on the right of it. The vibration will push it aside, leaving a Sawed-Off Shotgun in plain sight (It was under it). Collect that and head back out the room. Continue along the corridor to the left and around the corner. Enter the next door to the left and open thedrawer at the bottom of the shelves in this room to collect a Painkiller. Go back outside and continue to the left along the corridor. There,s an alcove to the left, quickly shoot down the thug watching the TV there and ready your Pump-Action Shotgun, go into the alcove and further into the corridor so you're against the wall. As soon as you hear thugs speak, shootdodge to the right into the corridor itself and unload the Shotgun into them both. Collect all the ammo left behind from the fight and check on the couch where the first thug was for 30 Beretta Bullets. Continue down the corridor and go through the next door to the right. There's a junkie in the stalls, you can kill him if you wish, if you don't he might become alerted by the noise and go after you mindlessly, so I suggest you do. Open the medical cabinet on the left wall for a Painkiller. Go back outside and through the double doors to the right. Shootdodge through while looking to the left and gun down the thug there with your Dual Berettas (He's just inside the doorway next to the one you came through), quickly spin around and shoot down the next thug that will show up by the doorway behind you. Collect the ammo they leave behind and go through the door that is at the end of the corridor in the direction where you shot down the first thug. Ready your Sawed-Off Shotgun and dive out the next doorway while looking to the right. Take out the two thugs in front of the vending machien and switch to your Dual Berettas as you get up. Quickly spin around and gun down the two other thugs that will pop out the next doorway down the corridor. Collect all the ammo they leave behind and go throguh the doorway to the right where the last thugs came out of. Head into the doorway to the left there and open the farthest closet on the right wall for a Painkiller. Check the shelf to the left of it for 30 Beretta Bullets and head back out of this room to the previous one. Check the TV for a quick cutscene and exit the room back to the corridor. Head to the right to the next intersection and go down the right corridor. Turn to the left into the open doorway to reach the save point. **********************A FEW HUNDRED BULLETS BACK*********************** No cutscene at the start of this one, dispose of the Junkie to the left with your Dual Berettas and collect the 30 Beretta Bullets on the shelves near there as well. Head to the right side of the room afterwards and open the door there. Ready your Pump-Action Shotgun and shootdodge through the doorway while looking to the right. Gun down the first thug in the round room ahead and wait on the side of the wall when you get up. Shoot a single shell into each of the next 3 thugs that will come from the side as well, collect the ammo they all leave behind and a Molotov Cocktail. Head forward to the round room and turn into the corridor to the left. Continue forward along it to the very end and collect the Painkiller on the couch there. Use your Pump-Action Shotgun to blast a way through the decrepit door to the right and walk throguh the windows at the far end of this room. Carefully go along the ledge to the right and blast through the wooden boards blocking the windows at the end of the ledge. There's 2 Painkillers on the floor, 3 Molotov Cocktails and a Beretta. Check the shelves on the left for one more Molotov Cocktail and 12 Desert Eagle Bullets. Backtrack to the first door you blew open and go back to the round room at the end of this corridor. Turn around there and go through the first door to the right of the corridor. Quickly step aside from the door as it opens, there's a weight attached to the door and it fires a Shotgun as soon as the door opens, once the shot went off, head inside. Pick up the Pump-Action Shotgun on the chair and open the case on the right side of the bed for a Sawed-Off Shotgun. Collect the 5 Shotgun Shells on the desk to the right, along with the Painkillers and 5 Shotgun Shells in front of the couch to the right. Go back to the entrance of this room and pick up the letter on the desk to the left of there to trigger a cutscene. Go out of this room after the cutscene and head to the left. You'll hear a door open and thugs talk, go back into the previous room at that moment and wait until the two thugs show up in the corridor. Ready your Dual Berretas and shootdodge into the corridor while gunning them down, should prove to be no challenge. Collect their ammo and head forward to the round room. Go through the now-open doorway to the left and you'll spot a broken boiler through the next doorway. Fire at it with your Dual Berettas from a distance and it will create a hole in the floor when falling. Go through to that hole and head on the other side of it. Fall down with your Dual Berettas equipped and shootdodge behind you as soon as you hit the floor. Gundown the thug ahead of you in the corridor and 2 others will show up. One will head to the left, another one will try to get you, gun him down as he runs at you. Head forward near the hallway to the left and shootdodge into it. Gun down the guy hiding behing the drawers and collect the ammo they all dropped afterwards. Head forward to the next corridor and go through the open doorway to the left. Shoot down the junkie in the corner there with your Dual Berettas and head back out by the same doorway. Open the door to the right this time and go forward to the desk. Check the diary on top of it to trigger a cutscene and then open the closet on the wall to the right. Go through the closet to the storage there and collect the Painkiller along with the 5 Shotgun Shells on the shelves to the right. Open the door ahead of you afterwards and Head to the left. Shootdodge around the corner and gun down the thug in the corridor there. Switch to the Pump-Action Shotgun as you get up and gun down the 2 remaining thugs that will run your way from that direction. Collect all the ammo they left behind and head the way the thugs came from. Activate the call switch near the door at the end and board the elevator, press the switch to reach Chapter 4. ******************CHAPTER 4: CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE******************* You'll start off in the elevator after a very short sequence. Ready your Molotov Cocktails and head out the elevaotr once it opens. Head to the left and you'll hear thugs talk amongst themselves. Quickly rush forward while looking to the left, and as soon as you're in sight of the thugs themselves, throw a Molotov Cocktail and backtrack quickly, all 3 should die without any trouble. Collect the ammo they leave behind and collect the Painkillers in the shelves near the table where the thugs were (Use your Lead Pipe on the boxes in the shelves to find 5 Shotgun Shells and 30 Beretta Bullets). Check the TV to the left of the table to trigger a cutscene, turn around and open the doorway in front of you. 2 thugs will get in position inside the room, quickly get out of the doorway and shootdodge across the doorway while firing at them, you'll probably miss, but the guy to the right should throw a grenade, end up missing and blow both him and his buddy to hell. Go collect the ammo they leave behind and use your lead pipe on the boxes in the shelves in this room for some Ingram Bullets, 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and a Painkiller. Break all the small crates around the floor afterwards for 60 Beretta Bullets and to let you access the door behind them. Open the door and shootdodge through while looking to the left. Gun down the thug there with your Desert Eagle and continue down that corridor. You'll arrive at an incinerator, go behind it and collect the 5 Shotgun Shells inside the locker to the left. Go back in front of the incineraotr and collect the Baseball Bat on the floor. Listen to the thugs talk and pick up the newspaper afterwards for a cutscene. Go up the stairs on the left wall and open the door at the top (Equip your Desert Eagle before doing so). Dash through the doorway and shootdodge to the left, gunning down the two thugs in the middle of this room, as you get up, there's a 3rd thug that will be coming down the hallway in front of you, gun him down as you get up. Collect all the ammo they leave behind and open the medical cabinet on the far wall to the right of the door you opened for 2 Painkillers. Now, head along the corridor the last thug came from and go up the stairs there. Open the doorway to the right at the top and you'll have reached the save point. *********************RICO MUERTE BIG TIME HUSTLER********************** You'll start hearing voices right off as you enter, open the first closet to the left for a Beretta and ready your Sawed-Off Shotgun. Open the door to the right of the closet and immediatly shootdodge behind you. Fire off the 2 shells into the nearest 2 thugs and switch to your Desert Eagle once you get up, shootdodge again and nail both of the remaining thugs in the process. Collect all the ammo left behind and head inside the room itself. There's a Sawed-Off Shotgun and 5 Shotgun Shells on the table in the middle of the room. Collect the Molotov Cocktail inside the closet to the far left and a Painkiller inside the closet to the far right. Collect the Bar Key on the small table to the right of the door you used to get inside and head back outside of the room. Turn to the left and head to the head of the corridor ahead. Open the door at the end and open the medical cabinet on the left wall for 4 Painkillers. Head back outside of this room and go up the small set of stairs to the left. Open the door there (You got the key not too long ago, and make sure you got your Desert Eagle handy) and there will be a short cutscene there with Muerte mouthing off. Muerte will flee while his hooker draws her gun (Hah!). Be careful as the girl can endure quite a few shots from your Desert Eagle. First, shootdodge inside while looking to the left, gunning down the thug on that side of the room. There's only the hooker left for now, shootdodge to the right of the room and aim for her head on the other side of the counter, after 3 or 4 shots, she'll go down. Once that happens, switch for your Pump-Action Shotgun and aim for the door on the left side of the counter. Two thugs will come through, just unload a single shell into each to kill them. If you don't kill the hooker quickly enough, you'll have to face both thugs as well, just forget about the hooker and use a shoot-dodge to get rid of the thugs first, their shotguns hurt more than her Beretta. Afterwards, go behind the counter and collect the 30 Beretta Bullets and the Painkiller in the corner where the hooker was. Ready your Desert Eagle or Dual Berretas and head through the door to the left side of the counter. Rico is waiting for you right behind it, with a new, powerful weapon. As soon as you open the door, shootdodge behind you and pummel him with bullets, if he doesn't go down, repeat the process until he does. Going inside the room will get you large amounts of damage, but if you got enough Painkillers, just switch to your Pump-Action Shotgun, and gun him down with it at point blank. Collect the Ingram he leaves behind and head through the doorway that's to the right of his body to reach the save point. *********************THE BLOOD VEINS OF NEW YORK*********************** Equip your Dual Berretas and quickly run forward, as soon as a thug comes into view, shootdodge either to the left or right and gun him down, a second one shortly follows, continue running and gun him down while doing so. Collect the ammo they leave behind and head inside the small room to the left where the 2nd thug was. Open the closet to the left for a Beretta and open the medical cabinet to the right for 2 Painkillers. Check the switchboard at the end of the room for a cutscene and go back out of the room. Head to the right side of this area to a barred doorway, head up the stairs to the right for now and open the doorway to the club to the right at the top. Follow the path until you hear a slot machine playing, a thug will blow it up since he lost. Shootdodge around the corner while he's shooting the machine and gun him down with your Dual Berettas. Wait for another thug to show up and gun him down as well as soon as he appears in your sight. Collect the ammo they left behind and head inside the club itself. Go to the right side of it and go down the small set of stairs to the right to the lower part of the club. Check to the left of the couch there for a Painkiller and head back up the small set of stairs. Go through the double door in the middle of the wall there and shoot through the floor window to the right. Fall down on the boxes below and quickly retrest to the corner behind you (It's the only location safe from any of the thugs' firepower, and they don't seem to run to you). Switch to your Dual Beretta (Or try out your Ingram) and shootdodge to the left, gun down the first thug on the opposite side of the room, he's armed with an Ingram. Afterwards, shootdodge forward while looking to the left to gun down one more thug. Turn around and shoot the 2 thugs there once you get up. Collect all the ammo resulting from the firefight (The music was cool, wasn't it?) and go through the now-open doorway to the left. You,re back at the small booth you reached at the beginning of this stage, head back behind it and press the "EXIT" switch behind the counter on the wall. Quickly run back to the room you fell through the ceiling window and head through the two sets of double doors to the left of the doorway you just used and you'll be at Chapter 5. ******************CHAPTER 5: THE MAN RIDING SHOTGUN******************** After the intro sequence for this chapter, you'll be in the streets near Vinnie's place. Head to the right past the heap that was a car and head at the door of the pawn shop to the left. You'll hear thugs talk amongst themselves inside, ready your Sawed-Off Shotgun and open the door. Shootdodge inside while looking to the right and unload a single shell into each thug to kill them both. Collect the ammo they leave behind, the 30 Beretta Bullets on the shelf to the left along with the 12 Desert Eagle Bullets. Go through the doorway on the right to the next part of the store and destroy the first glass case to the left of the doorway for an Ingram. Exit the store and continue along the road to the left. Turn to the left at the corner and open the doors at the back of the van in the road there for a Pump-Action Shotgun, head to the right of the van and check the news on the billboard for a cutscene. Go down the stairs to the right of the billboard and ready a Molotov Cocktail. Open the door at the bottom and immediatly throw the Molotov inside, as long as you don't aim for the ceiling, you should kill all 3 thugs in the room without a single problem. Head inside the room itself and collect the ammo they all left behind. Collect the 3 Molotov Cocktails along with the 5 Shotgun Shells on the boxes in the middle of the room and go throguh the doorway to the right of the boxes. Follow the corridor and turn to the left when you're able to. Open the door on the left and gun down the 2 junkies inside with your Dual Berettas. Head back in the corridor and continue along it to the left to get to the save point. ***********************SOMETHING MORE SINISTER************************* The corridor you came from will explode right at the start, forming a flaming dead-end. From where you are, take a few steps back and shoot at the gas containers aroudn the corner to the left, take more steps back once it's set ablaze and watch the ensuing explosion. One ofthe containers will be propelled against the blocked doorway aroudn the right corner and blow the door open. Ready your Pump-Action Shotgun and go to that door, shooting down the thug on the other side (If the explosion didn't kill him). Collect the ammo he left behind and open the medical cabinet againast the far wall for 2 Painkillers. Gun down the 2 junkies to the left of this room with your Dual Berettas and go through the doorway on the right. Run forward to the corner ahead of you and shootdodge to the right, gunning down the thug in the room with your Dual Berretas. Quickly strafe back in the corner and repeat the process for the 2nd thug that will shortly come running the same way. Collect the ammo they left behind and go through the open doorway ahead that they from. Head to the far-left corner of the room and go up the stairs to the left. A small burst of Ingram bullets will fly from around the corner halfway up the stairs, shootdodge around the corner and pummel the thug there with your Dual Berettas as soon as he stops firing. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and continue up the stairs to the next room. Take the 12 Desert Eagle Bullets on the bench ahead of you and go through the doorway in the left corner of the room. Answer the ringing phone on the right wall in this corridor for a cutscene and continue down the corridor. Ready your Dual Berettas and shootdodge through the doorway while looking to the left. Gun down both thugs into this room and collect the ammo they leave behind (Collecting the Ingram from the thug will actually give you the Dual Ingrams now). A bomb will go off on an higher floor and debris will fall off near the farthest wall of this room, be sure not to be there. Head inside the small storage room to the right of the doorway you used to get into this room and shoot the padlock on the left door inside. Go through that door and collect the 2 Pump-Action Shotguns on the rack to the right. There's 2 Painkillers, 30 Beretta Bullets and the Staircase Key on the shelf to the right of the room. Check the letter on the counter to the left to trigger a cutscene afterwards and exit both rooms back to the one where a bomb blew up. Go forward to the double doors ahead of you and open them to reach the save point. ***********************LET THE GUN DO THE TALKING********************** Go up the stairs to the left, once you turn around to go up the other stairs, a grenade will fly your way, dive back down the stairs you used to go up to avoid it. Head up both sets of stairs and shootdodge at the top of the 2nd one while looking to the left. Gun down the thug there with your Dual Berettas before he can lump another grenade your way and shoot down the thug that will shortly follow as soon as you get up. Collect the ammo they leave behind and go where their bodies are. Head to the left side of this room and go into the women's bathroom ahead. Open the medical cabinet on the left wall for 3 Painkillers and collect the 5 Shotgun Shells to the right of the cabinet near the sink. Go back out of those rooms to the stairs. Continue your run up the stairs and shootdodge to the left at the top of this set while looking behind you. Gun down the thug at the top of the stairs with your Dual Berettas and go up the stairs to his body. Stop halfway while a bomb to the left explodes and continue up to collect the ammo left by the thug. The staircase upwards is blocked, so go out the doorway on the right. Follow the catwalk to the left and jump across the chasm (Falling is death) to the other side. Continue along this catwalk until you spot an open doorway to the left, go through. As soon as you do so, the catwalk goes boom behind you. Head to the right along the corridor to a door. Ready your Desert Eagle and open the door. Immediatly shootdodge behind and you and pummel the two thugs you see through the doorway with bullets, that should kill them. As soon as you get up, another thug will get into the doorway, nail him with bullets as he does so. Last thign to do will be to shootdodge inside the room itself while looking to the right, the last thug should be running towards you from that direction, nail him as soon as you see him. Collect the ammo they all leave behind and head into the dark bedroom with the doorway in front of the door you used to get there. Open the closet on the right for a Painkiller and go back to the previous room. Head through the doorway to the left and open the closet to the left for 12 Desert Eagle Bullets. Jump through the window to the right of the closet to reach Chapter 6. *******************CHAPTER 6: THE ALTERNATE ROUTE********************** After the short intro, jump on the ladder to the right. Once on the other side, go down the nearby stairs. Jump down under the stairs into the cart below. Jump down on the floor and dispose of the two junkies to the right with your Dual Berettas. Head into the passageway to the left and throguh the doorway to the right. Follow the corridor around the corner to the right and watch the short cutscene. Open the door to the right and continue forward until you see another door to the left. Open it and go into the small storage to the right. Collect the 30 Beretta Bullets, 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and 5 Shotgun Shells on the shelves and go back out to the corridor. Head forward to the doorway and go through with your Dual Berettas. Dispose of the 3 junkies to the left with them and head to where their bodies are. Shootdodge to the left while looking behind you and gun down the thug at the top of the stairs there. Stay at the bottom of the stairs and shoot down the 2 next thugs that will show up at the top as they do. Go up the stairs afterwards and collect all the ammo left behind. Head along the corridor to the left and gun down the two junkies in the corner before the stairs, reload your Dual Berettas and shootdodge where their bodies are while looking to the left. Gun down both thugs coming down the stairs and collect all the ammo left behind. Go up the stairs and open the doorway to the right at the top to trigger a cutscene. You'll now have to bring back the thug to the locked door earlier, dispose of the other junkie in this room before continuing. First, head through the doorway to the right of this room and open the closetto the left for 2 Painkillers and 12 Desert Eagle Bullets. At that point, backtrack all the way to the locked door introduced in a cutscene earlier in this stage, once the thug goes to the door, you'll get the save point. ***************************A ONE MAN WAR******************************* Listen to the on-going conversation and ready your Desert Eagle. As soon as the door is open, shoot the harmless thug as he runs in and gun down the 2 thugs behind him as well. Collect all the ammo left behind and get the 2 Berettas, Pump-Action Shotgun and 5 Shotgun Shells from the table inside the room. Head through the doorway to the left afterwards and shootdodge forward while looking to the right. Gun down the thug through the doorway there and collect the ammo he leaves behind. Go through that doorway and head behind the counter to the left. Collect the 2 Painkillers and the Pump-Action Shotgun and head in the elevator straigth in front of the counter. Press the button and head out once it comes to a stop. Head to the left along the corridor and open the only door that's not barred-off at the end. You'll hear a guy whistling, head to the lest and you'll hear a toilet flush. Quickly ready your Pump-Action Shotgun and stand in front of the door right in front of the one you used toget in this room. As soon as it opens, nail the thug with a single shell. Collect the Ingram on the counter and open the closet against the far wall of the room for 30 Beretta Bullets. Check the TV afterwards for a cutscene and jump through the window on the right wall. Head to the left until you reach the wall and jump through the window to the left. Open the closet on the left for a Pump-Action Shotgun and check the far wall for 4 Pump-Action Shotguns, jump back out of the window then. Head to the edge of the roof to the right and jump on the pipes to the left. Head forward along them and jump through the window at the end. Shootdodge inside at that moment while looking to the left and gun down the 2 thugs there with your Sawed-Off Shotgun. As you get up, reload and shoot the thug that will get in your sight right in front of you. Collect all the ammo left behind and head through the doorway the last thug came from. Open the closet to the right for 30 Ingram Bullets and jump through the window behind you. Jump on the pipes to the right and cross them to the next rooftop for you to jump on. Head through the doorway there to reach the save point. ***************************A CITYWIDE APB****************************** Head to the left and another bomb will go off. Turn to the right and follow the corridor to the main room with the catwalks again, quickly run all the way to the right to another corridor. You'll hear two thugs debate then, wait behind the wall until you hear bomb go off, they're both dead now. Go around the corner and try to open the doorway to the very left. A large chunk of the wall will fall off then (Not towards you), jump through the hole left behind and head around the next corner. Equip your Dual Ingrams and follow the corridor to the left. You'll come across a slope to the next floor. Remain at the bottom and wait for two thugs to show up at the top of the slope, gun them both down and head up the slope itself. Once at the top, go around the hole from the left and shootdodge out of the doorway after it while looking to the left, spray bullets on the two thugs on this side. As soon as you get up, look into the corridor on the opposite catwalk and gun down the thug inside it. Collect all the ammo left afterwards and follow the catwalk around to the right. Head through the door you'll see on the right wall and you'll hear somebody yell. Open the closet at the far-end of the room for 50 Ingram Bullets, collect the 2 Painkillers on the oven to the left and open the door on the left of it to reach the save point (Make sure you have your Dual Ingrams equipped before heading in). **********************FEAR THAT GIVES MEN WINGS************************ Watch the intro and you'll start in another gunfight. As soon as you gain control with your Dual Ingrams equipped, shootdodge to the left and spray bullets all over the 3 thugs, they should all fall in one clean sweep since they're really close to you. Collect the load of ammo they carried and pick up the 2 Pump-Action Shotguns on the rack on the right wall. Check the letter on the desk for a cutscene and head out the doorway on the left of the desk. Jump out the broken window there and a cutscene will play out. Once it's done, jump off the small platform you're on and jump on the pipes to the right. Cross them and jump on the next rooftop. Jump on the box to the left and through the window. Open the closet there for 50 Ingram Bullets and head to the right. Go through the nearby doorway there and go around the corner to the right. Head up the stairs and go through the door to the right at the top for a cutscene. Head up the small area where the fugitive jumped off and prepared yourself to jump on a train as well. Wait until you see the train coming from the left, as soon as that happens, run off the roof and jump before falling off, if you keep your jump in a straigth line and jump early enough, you'll land on the train, it's not too small, so don't be afraid to wait a few moments before jumping when you see the train coming. If you're running straigth at full speed, just falling off the ledge (And keep pushing forward) might get you on the train as well (That's how I did it the first time). This will bring you to Chapter 7. *****************CHAPTER 7: BETTER THAN THE LAST ONE******************* After the intro for this chapter, you'll have to go around a rooftop chase. Jump forward on the pipes just below the rooftop (They're againast the wall, so don't push too hard) and follow them to the left, all the way to the next rooftop, which you should jump on. Keep your Desert Eagle handy, as 2 thugs will get in your sight ahead when you land on the rooftop, shootdodge to the left and gun them down both (Chances are that the 2nd thug will kill the first before you with his shotgun burst, he'll then switch to a Desert Eagle). Collect the ammo they leave behind and head along the rooftop to the right of their bodies. Jump over the small wall stained with blood at the end and head forward to the ledge staiend with blood. Take a small run and jump straigth forward to the next rooftop. Once you land, switch to your Dual Berettas and continue forward. Once past the sign to the right, shootdodge while looking to the right, use the slow down to unload bullets in the thugs on the opposite rooftop (They're in front of the sign there, and only 2 of them). Continue forward along the roof and turn to the left when you reach a wall. A chopper shows up then and orders you to drop your weapons, ignore it, it's not a threat. Continue forward to the next rooftop and turn to the left when able to. Head through the doorway in the wall there. Collect the 5 Shotgun Shells on the box ahead and break the small crate to the right for 30 Beretta Bullets. Try to go to the stairs and a cutscene will issue. 3 thugs are going up the stairs after you. Switch to your Dual Berettas or Desert Eagle (Your choice) and wait for them up the stairs, as soon as you see one come up, pummel his back with bullets. Now, go down the first set of stairs and shootdodge to the left at the bottom while looking behind you. Pummel the 2 thugs in your sight there with bullets. Collect the ammo they all leave behind and break the small crate againast the far wall for 12 Desert Eagle Bullets. Continue down the stairs now to the bottom floor and open the medical cabinet near the door to the left for 2 Painkillers. Head along the corridor behind you then and open the door at the end to reach the save point. **************************ICE HARD AND SLICK*************************** Equip your Dual Berettas, go forward a bit (You'll hear a thug yell) and wait next to the left wall until a thug gets around the corner, gun him down and shootdodge around the corner yourself, gunning down the thug to the left. Go next to his body and head to the right. Shootdodge once you reach passageway to the left and gun down the thug in the doorway. Collect all the ammo they left behind afterwards and go to the right of the doorway where you killed the last thug. Collect the 100 Ingram Bullets behind the fallen barrel and jump at the basket goal behind you to grab the Beretta in it. Head back to the doorway with the last thug and head inside. go around the corner and continue forward to the small set of stairs. A small cutscene will play out as you reach the stairs, equip your Desert Eagle and go up the stairs. Once at the top, a thug appears fro mthe left, shootdodge to the left and gun him down. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and head in the direction he came from. Jump inside the open container to the left of the black van and destroy the 3 small crates there for 50 Ingram Bullets and 2 Grenades. Collect the 5 Shotgun Shells and 12 Desert Eagle Bullets on the shelf at the end and exit the container. Head to the right and fall down the hole there. Collect the Beretta from the FBI Agent's corpse in one of the boxes and a Painkiller in the other box. Jump over the small crates in the corner to the left to get out of the hole. Turn around and jump on the other side of the pit. Go forward to the fence ahead and look up to thesign on the opposite building's roof. Use your Dual Berettas to shoot the thug down and turn around. Head for the pit again, but this time, use the switch on the pillar to the right to call down the elevator. Embark and go up on it. Shoot down the thug on the 2nd floor while the elevator is going up and disembark on the roof. Go down the slope on the left to collect the ammo from the thug and the nearby 50 Ingram Bullets. Head back to the roof after that and go up the next slope. Head forward along the small corridor in between buildings and go around the corner. Ready your Dual Ingrams and shootdodge forward while looking to the right. Quickly nail the thugs behind the box volleys of bullets before they get you and quickly roll back the way you came once you get up. After a few grenade explosions, return near the box and shootdodge in the same manner to nail another thug. Head forward to the sign and look up to the left for the last thug to show up (He will), nail him down as well. Collect all the ammo they left behind and go up the small stairs in front of the sign you're behind to reach the higher floor where the last thug was, equip your Sawed-Off Shotgun once there. From his body, shootdodge forward while looking to the left and unload a shell into the thug awaiting past the corner (If done right, he'll fly back over the ledge and down into the pit). Collect the 2 Painkillers on the ledge that was behind him and follow the catwalk in front of the signs to the right. Once at the end, go to the left and you'll hear some thugs talk. Ready your Dual Ingrams and blast through the glass windows. Fall down into the room itself and gun them down. Destoy the 3 small crates around the room to collect 100 Ingram Bullets and a Painkiller. Check the table in the middle of the room for 5 Shotgun Shells, 50 Ingram Bullets and a Beretta, don't forget to get the ammo from the thugs you killed too. Go through the doorway to the right of the middle table to reach the save point. *****************************ALL A BLUR******************************* Head up the stairs in front of you and open the door to the left at the top. Head outside and jump on the fire escape to the left. Go down the first set of stairs and head through the door to the left at the bottom. Check on the desk to the right behind the door for 5 Shotgun Shells and 30 Beretta Bullets. Examine the TV to the right of where you are for a cutscene and go to the right in the corridor (Not the kitchen). You'll hear a conversation at that point. Go through the door on the right and open the medical cabinet to the left for 3 Painkillers. Go back outside to the corridor and ready your Sawed-Off Shotgun. Open the door to the right and fire a shell shell straigth ahead as the door swings open to kill the thug awaiting you on the other side. Collect the ammo left behind and shootdodge around the corner while looking to the left. Nail the 2 thugs there with a single shell each, switch to your Dual Ingrams and go forward a little bit. As soon as you do, a grenade will come flying around the corner, quickly shootdodge ahead aroudn the corner while looking to the right and spray bullets all over the 3 thugs in the corridor, the grenade's explosion will probably damage you a little bit, but it's far more maneagable than full blast. Collect the ammo they left behind and switch to your Desert Eagle. Go down the hallway where the thugs were and open in the door at the end. Go through the next door ahead and go down the hallway, a grenade will come your way just as you get in the corner, be ready to shootdodge around the corner as it does. Gun down the thug at the end of the corridor to the left and collect all the ammo left behind. The recent grenade explosion will probably have done anamount of damage on you as well too. Open the door behind the last thug you killed and a short cutscene will play out. Ready your Dual Ingrams and go down the stairs in front of you and to the right. Shootdodge at the bottom of them and spray bullets all over the two thugs on the right side. As soon as you get up, turn around and shootdodge behind you, spraying bullets over the 2 other thugs that were behind you. Reload and shootdodge towards the bodies of the last thugs you gunned down. Look over to the right while doing so and pick off the 3 thugs that come out of the corner there. Collect all the ammo left behind and go where the bodies of the last thugs are. The guy you've been chasingfor a while now will be behidn the nearby container, he'll start strafing left and right unloading Desert Eagle ammo in you when you show up. Shootdodge to the right from your position and unload your Dual Ingrams into him until he falls. A cutscene will play out then and you'll reach Chapter 8. **********************CHAPTER 8: A DEN OF DRUGS************************ You'll be at the entrance of the Ragna Rock, Jack Lupino's place, keep your Desert Eagle handy. Head forward near the stairs and go to the wall on the left. Open the door to the left and open the cloker in this room for a Pump-Action Shotgun. Go back outside and head to the opposite side, to the right. Open the door to your right and check security switch to the right there to open a secret doorway. Go through it and shootdodge forward while looking to the left. Gun down the nearest thug and shoot out the 2nd one by firing through the shelves as you get up. Collect the ammo they leave behind and get the 2 Painkillers from the shelves to the right of the last thug you killed. Check the shelves on the left for 10 Shotgun Shells, a Pump-Action Shotgun, 2 Berettas, 30 Beretta Bullets and 50 Ingram Bullets. Check the book on the table for a cutscene afterwards and open the doorway to the left (Keep your Sawed-Off Shotgun handy). Fire s single shell into the thug on the other side andquickly roll back into the room, as a grenade shortly flies into the doorway you opened. Once the explosion passes, head back through the door and shootdodge inside while looking to the left. Gun down the thug on the other side of the counter with your Sawed-Off Shotgun and switch to your Dual Berettas, aim high and to the opposite side of the room to gun down the thug on the catwalk above. Go to the right and on the other side of the bar. Head to the left around the metallic fence and turn around, take a few steps back and somebody upsairs will throw a Molotov Cocktail (Shouldn't hurt you). Continue taking steps back until you spot him on the catwalk, gun him down then. Collect all the ammo left from the fight afterwards and head to the table on the opposite side of the room from the bar. Collect the 2 Berettas there and head to the 4 doors in the middle of the wall to the right. Open the 2nd one from the left and head inside. Keep your Desert Eagle handy and shootdodge through the next doorway ahead while looking to the right. Gun down both thugs there and switch to your Dual Berettas. Shootdodge to the right where the body of the first thug is while looking to the left and gun down the other one at the far-end of the room. Collect all the ammo left behind and head to the left of the last thug you killed to the entranceway to the bar. Switch to your Dual Ingrams and shootdodge inside the bar itself while looking to the left. Nail both thugs there with sprays of bullets and switch to your Sawed-Off Shotgun when you get up, there should be a pillar between you and the last thug ahead. Run for the pillar and shootdodge to the left of it. Nail the last thug with a single shell and collect all the ammo left behind. Go behind the counter to the right of the door you used to get there and collect the Painkiller along with the Pump-Action Shotgun there on the shelf. Go back to the entrance of this room and head towards the wall opposite to the door. Collect the 2 Berettas on the table to the left and check the books on the table behind the bookshelf ahead of you for a cutscene. Exit via the door to the left afterwards to reach the save point. *****************************RAGNA ROCK******************************** Head forward up the first set of stairs and you'll overhear a conversation. Continue up the stairs and ready a grenade. Strafe throguh the doorway to the left and throw the grenade at the thugs around the table ahead of you, if you're fast enough, you'll blow all 3 of them. Switch to your Dual Ingrams and dispose of whoever remains, quickly head behind the stack of boxes to the right of the table the thugs were around and wait there until a few thugs come you way. When they get close to your position, shootdodge to the left and spray bullets all over the 3 of them. Collect all the ammo left from the fight and turn around. Blow up both small crates on the table there for 2 Painkillers and check the table in the middle for a Desert Eagle and a Beretta. Check the shelves to the left for a Painkiller and head the direction the last thugs came out of. Go around the stack of barrels fro mthe right and check the shelves behind it for a Pump-Action Shotgun and 5 Shotgun Shells. Follow the path to the left all the way around a corner to a new corridor and go forward to the doorway with your Desert Eagle equipped, a thug will soon get in your sight, gun him down. Once you reach the doorway itself, there's a thug in the middle of the stairs, and one will fall shortly from above. Gun down the one in the stairs and receive the one who falls with a few point-blank bullets. Collect all the ammo they leave behind and go up the stairs themselves. Once you're at the bottom of the 2nd set of stairs, look upwards to your left and gun down the thug on the floor above. Go up the stairs to collect his ammo and head through the nearby door. Step o nthe treshold of the next door to the right and aim below. Kill the thug on the lowest floor and be very careful, you need to walk across the small railings there to the door on the left, the railings form an "X" and fall is death, so make sure to step lightly. Once you reach that door, go to the right around the corner and head through the arch ahead. Once you reach the wall, follow the small curved rooftop to the left until you can follow a railing to the right. Do so and turn on the next curved rooftop to the right and continue forward to more safe ground. Head to the very left and go through the door there to reach the save point. **************************AN EMPIRE OF EVIL**************************** Follow the path forward and down the stairs. Once you,re down the first set of stairs, look towards the next one with your Dual Berettas handy and gun down the two thugs that should come up. Go down the next set of stairs and shootdodge down the one after that. Gun down the thugon the left as you do so and collect all the ammo left behind. Open the door behind the last thug you killed (You need to press the switch next to it). Quickly shoot the thug right in front of you as the door opens and strafe to the left to gun down the guy down the stairs. Stay there and wait for 3 thugs to come up the stairs one after the other. Receive them with a few bullets each and collect all the ammo left behidn afters. Go at the end of the catwalk where you killed the first thug here and open the medical cabinet there for 4 Painkillers. Go down the stairs the last thugs came up from afterwards. Once at the bottom, destroy the two small crates on the right side of the stairs for 5 Shotgun Shells and a Painkiller. Head past the stage itself and up the stairs on the opposite side of the room. Collect the Painkiller on the console at the top and activate the console to lift the wall behind the stage up. Use your Dual Berettas to shoot down both thugs that will show up from this new passageway and go back down the stairs. Head up either slope on the sides of the stage and go through the doorway, collecting the ammo left from the thugs you just killed. Go up the stairs to the right and pull the switches so they're in the following positions (From 1 to 4): Up, Up, Down, Up. Go down the stairs to the bottom level and head to the left side of the room. Go near the panels forward and go along the small passage between them to the right. Once you reach the end of the small passage, shootdodge around the corner and gun down the thug in the stairs to the left. He'll throw a grenade at you if you're not fast enough, but the shootdodge should make you endure minimal damage. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and go up the stairs behind him. Once at the top, follow the catwalk to the right and cross the various boards joining the catwalk, you'll have to run across the single board because it will crack in two as you pass. Once at the end of the catwalk, go through the door there to reach Chapter 9. *****************CHAPTER 9: STRAIGHT FROM A BAD DREAM****************** (Note: The thugs on this stage appear to pop-up randomly at random areas, they're not in any set locations) Watch the intro sequence and ready your Dual Ingrams, there,s a lot of shooting ahead. Check the papers on the sofa to the left for a cutscene, check the notes on the table to the right of the door afterwards for another cutscene and read the book on the stand in the middle of the room for yet another cutscene. Afterwards, head into the small passage behind the curtains to the upper-left and go up the stairs to the right. Go through the door at the very top at the end of the corridor there. You'll get to a large room and be shown a pool of blood in cutscene. Going to it will trigger the gunfight, first, go to the nearby tables on this side of the room to collect 12 Desert Eagle Bullets, 4 Painkillers, 2 Berettas, 2 Ingrams, 3 Pump-Action Shotguns, 10 Shotgun Shells and 100 Ingram Bullets. Head to the left side of the room (Pass by the wall to the left of the door you used to get in this room to avoiding triggering the gunfight) and loot the tables there for 6 Pump-Action Shotguns, 3 Painkillers, a Beretta and 3 Ingrams. Once you've gotten what you need (You can always make a break for a table if you need something during the gunfight), step near the pool of blood and thugs will start falling from the higher floors. There's no definite strategy for this one, but stay out of the middle space (It will rain Molotov Cocktails at times) and abuse the shootdodge to kill the enemies. The Dual Ingrams should be the weapon of choice here, but feel free to experiment. Once you've killed the thugs that fall from above, you'll have to snipe 2 of them on the higher floors to the right and 2 of them on the higher floors to the left. After these, a cutscene should cut in. If you're running low on Ingram ammo, refill after the cutscene, you have to dispose of 2 thugs and of Lupino himself, and he doesn't go down that easily. The curtain is open above the stairs from the pool of blood and that's where the enemies are. They'll reach for you right off, use shootdodges and target the 2 thugs first. Once those two are down, focus on Lupino, as long as you shootdodge when he's about to fire his Shotgun, it shouldn't be too hard. A cutscene kicks in as you reach Part 2 of the game. *********************************************************************** PART 2: A COLD DAY IN HELL **************************PROLOGUE: NIGHTMARE************************** After the long intro part of this part, you'll do the prologue of this part. Max's in a nightmare, so there's no weapons or chances of dying, it's basicly a maze. Head forward to the corridor and turn to the right. Head inside this corridor and it will distor and go farther I nthe distance, just an effect of the dream, I suppose. Turn to the right at the corner and continue ahead until an intersection. Turn to the right yet again until you get to another intersection. Turn to the right again to a corner and head along the corner to the left. Turn to the left around the next corner and to the left the following 2 corners as well. Turn to the right as soon as you see a passage then. You'll get to a crossroads, turn to the right again and turn to the left along the next corner. Continue forward all the way to a corner (Passing by a passage to the left, ignore that one) and turn to the left along it. Turn to the left at the next 2 corners and head to the right at the intersection afterwards. Turn to the right at the next corner and head to the right at the crossroads ahead. Turn to the left at the next 2 corners (Ignore any left pathways if they're not corners) and turn to the right at the intersection. Turn to the right at the next corner to be finally in sight of your living room, but it's not over. A cutscene plays out as you enter the living room. Examine the picture on the small bookshelf to the left and the one on the fireplace to the right of there for both cutscenes. Go up the stairs afterwards. Head to the right and open the door there. Yep, another maze... but this one isn't as long. Turn to the right at the first corner and continue forward along the trail of blood. When you get to a corner, jump in the diagonal left towards the next blood trail you see. In this Nightmare, you jump much farther, if yo ufall, you'll jsut restart at the beginnign of the blood trail, so no worries. Once you reach the blood trail, go to the next corner to the left and look over to the left. You'll spot the doorway you need to access. Simply jump towards it on the trail of blood and follow it inside. Turn to the right at the corner and follow the corridor to the baby's room. Watch the cutscene and go through the doorway to the right. Follow the long corridor to the next room and a cutscene will play out again. Check the diary on top of the desk at the end of the room for a cutscene and enter the door on the left to reach Chapter 1, thus finishing the most annoying level of this game (In my opinion). *********************CHAPTER 1: THE BASEBALL BAT*********************** You'll start back at the hotel where you were in Part 1. All your stuff has been taken away and you're pretty badly hurt from the beat-down from Niagara. All you got is the Baseball Bat that was used against you. Head behind the incinerator and use the bat to break the padlock on the closet to the left. Grab the 2 Painkillers inside and use them right off to lessen your current damage rating. Head to the door behind you and open it. You'll hear a short convo, armed like you are, it's not wise to face them head-on. Pop out in the hallway and wait so that they see you. Quickly roll back through the doorway and lie in wait on the left side of the doorway. As soon as one of the thugs shows up, smack him silly with the bat. Once the 2 are dead, switch to the Desert Eagle you picked up from them and wait a little bit more, 7 more guys are coming your way. You won't be able to handle them all with 5 Desert Eagle bullets, so as soon as you kill a few, roll on their bodies to pick up their weapons, with the "Best Weapon" option checked, you'll equip it automaticly, just lay waste on them afterwards. Collect all the weapons left behind from the fight, you should have a Desert Eagle, Pump-Action Shotgun, Sawed-Off Shotgun, Dual Ingram and Ingram. Head out in the corridor they all poured out of and head to the left. Take the first door you see in the right wall and destroy the small crate to the left for 50 Ingram Bullets. Destroy the boxes in the first shelves in the middle for a Painkiller and destroy the boxes in the 2nd shelves in the middle for another Painkiller. Check the last shelves in the middle for another Painkiller and 60 Beretta Bullets. Break the small crates to the left of there for 60 Beretta Bullets and head out the open garage door to the right. Go to the left and enter the door to the right along the way. Break the boxes on the shelves ahead for 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and a Painkiller. Collect the Pump-Action Shotgun against the wall to the right and get the 10 Shotgun Shells, 50 Ingram Bullets and 90 Beretta Bullets off the shelf to the left. Check the shelves to the left for a Desert Eagle and 2 Grenades. Break the small crates to the left for 2 Berettas and exit this room. Follow the corridor to the right, go past the elevator and open the next door to the right (Keep your Dual Berettas handy). Shootdodge inside and pummel the thug ahead of you with bullets to kill him. As soon as you land, aim to the left and gun down the other thug running your way. Collect the ammo they leave behind and break the small crates to the left for 60 Beretta Bullets. Check the newspaper to the left of the door you used to get in this room to trigger a cutscene. Head back out of the room afterwards. Follow the corridor to the left and head into the elevator o nthe left wall. Press the switch to trigger the save point. **************************FROM BAD TO WORSE**************************** Wait until the elevator opens and shootdodge forward. Gun down the thug on the left of where you are and the one in front of you, they might run off if you're slow, but that's no worry, you'll encounter them soon enough. Collect the ammo they leave behind and go through the garage door to the left. Wait until the grenade that will fly ahead of you explodes, then shootdodge forward while looking to the right. Gun down the two thugs behind the boxes in there (The Desert Eagle should be more than enough for the job). Run inside afterwards and shootdodge towards the last machine to the left. Gun down the last thug behind it and collect all their ammo left behidn afterwards. Collect the 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and 5 Shotgun Shells at the same area where the first 2 thugs were and go behind the machines to the right. Open the medical cabinet there for 4 Painkillers and head to through the open doorway to the right. Shootdodge through it while looking to the left and gun down the thug that will be in the corner at the far end of the room. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and go to his body. Head through the open doorway to the right of there and jump down to the small road ahead. Head to the right along it and go to the left when you come out on the street. Continue all the way until you spot the double doors into the hotel to the left. Go through them to reach the save point. ***************************MOBSTER MUSCLE****************************** Head inside the main room and go through the doorway to the left. A cutscene will play out and the door will open. Shootdodge inside while looking to the right and gun down the 3 thugs there (Dual Ingrams work best). Collect all the ammo they leave behind and the 3 Painkillers along with the 50 Ingram Bullets on the small table near the area where the last thugs were. Check the radio on this very table to trigger a cutscene and head along the corridor a bit to the left and up afterwards. Ready your Sawed-Off Shotgun and enter the door straigth ahead. Strafe to the right to the last stall and nail the thug on the toilet with a single shell. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and head out of this room. Go to the left to the door to the bar and a cutscene plays out as you reach it. If you're good with your aim, throw a ricochet grenade off the door and it will blow up all 3 thugs running your way, otherwise, ready your Pump-Action Shotgun and pick off the first one who comes out. Shootdodge to the right and gun down the one waiting on the left side of the door. Shootdodge to the left and use your Desert Eagle to snipe the one behind the bar. Frankie is deadly with his Ingrams, you can't face him head-ons, as he'll win. Start throwing a grenade in his direction from your hiding place and strafe out of hiding, throw the grenade, and hide back, he should get the blast head-on, lowering his health from a good chunk. Get your Dual Ingrams ready and shootdodge inside, empty both clips into him while doing so and he should fall. At that point, a cutscene will kick in and you'll be taken to Chapter 2. *****************CHAPTER 2: AN OFFER YOU CAN'T REFUSE****************** For the promise of hi-tech russian hardware, you'll be pulling a job for Vladimir, dropped off near the docks. Ready your Sawed-Off Shotgun and head to the left. Enter the door on the side there and pop a shell into the thug on the other side of the door. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and check the table for a Pump-Action Shotgun. Collect the 10 Shotgun Shells on the shelves at the far-end of the room and press the switch to the right of the window to open the door outside. Go back outside and head around the cabin to the left through the door you just opened and switch to your Desert Eagle. Shootdodge forward past the crate to the right and shoot the thug behind it as well as the other thug on the elevator platform farther than him. Collect the ammo they leave behind and go to the body of the last thug you killed. Go to the first shutter to the left and press the button to the right of it to open it. Shootdodge inside the open doorway with your Sawed-Off Shotgun equipped and unload a single shell into both thugs in front of you. Quickly continue running forward as a thug upstairs will lump a grenade at you. Once you're at the wall and the grenade exploded, switch to your Dual Berettas and take a few steps back until you see the thug upstairs, gun him down. Collect the ammo left from the fight and return to the endtrance of the room. Jump on the boxes to the very left and jump on the next box to the right for a Painkiller. Continue forward to the broken stairs and jump on them. Follow the catwlak while collecting the ammo left by the thug and collect the Painkiller, 50 Ingram Bullets and Ingram at the end of the catwalk. Backtrack to the entrance of this area and head through the doorway to the right. Fire at the barrel on the opposite side of the area you arrive to when the thug there is near it to kill him and shootdodge to the left to gun down the thug inside the back of the van. Collect the ammo left behind by them and hop in the back of the van. Collect the 2 Pump-Action Shotguns and 10 Shotgun Shells at the end of the van and exit it. Go to the area where the barrel exploded and push the button to the right of the door to the left to open it. Shootdodge inside the doorway and aim to the upper-left on the catwalk above with your Dual Berettas. Pump the thug there full of lead before he throws you a grenade and continue forward to the elevator. Press the button to go up and follow the catwalk around, grabbing the ammo from the thug you killed. Open the medical cabinet at the end for 4 Painkillers and pull the switch to the left to activate the crane. Head back to the elevator and go back down. Switch to your Sawed-Off Shotgun and quickly run towards the garage door behind you. Shootdodge forward when it starts to open and unload a single shell into both thugs that will show up there. Collect the ammo they leave behind and head through the door to the left (The one the crane unblocked) to reach the save point. *************************COLD AND TO-THE-POINT************************* Switch to your Dual Berettas and shootdodge forward while looking to the right. Gun down the thug there and collect the ammo he leaves behind. Head to the corner ahead and go around it to the left. Shootdodge forward when you see a thug and gun him down. Wait nearby for 3 other thugs to come at you, take them down in ambush there one after another. Collect all the ammo left behind and go to the right. Head to the right into the dead-end to collect 24 Desert Eagle Bullets, 30 Beretta Bullets and a Beretta. Destroy the nearby small crate for a Painkiller as well and return where you killed the thugs. Head to the left of there to the behind of the crane in the middle and head in the corner ahead to collect 100 Ingram Bullets, 30 Beretta Bullets, a Beretta and a Painkiller. Head back behind the crane and jump inside the crane itself. Push the switch there to activate the crane itself and quickly turn around. Gun down the thug on the catwalk right in front of you there and jump out of the crane. Turn around again and strafe to the left. Shootdodge forward and pump the two thugs there full of bullets. Collect the ammo left behind and head to the left where the last thugs came from (There was a crate blocking the way before, but the crane took it up). As soon as you're on the other side, the crate will come back down. Follow the path to the left until you're past another corner and continue to the right at the intersection afterwards. Stay in the middle of the path, as you take a few steps, the large vehicule ahead will start moving, if you're in the middle of the path, it will sweep right past you. Look for a small pathway in-between the boxes to the left. Quickly turn into it as the guy driving the vehicule will soon backup on you, and he's carrying a crate thig time so you can't pass between the legs of it again. Wait there and he'll crash against the wall and kill himself in the process. Collect the 10 Shotgun Shells and the Desert Eagle in this small area and wait a few seconds, shootdodge outside while looking to the right after a while and there should be 2 thugs running at you, now quite close, for you to kill easily. Once they're dead, collect the ammo they left behind and go forward by the area they went through to get to you (Which was where the crate the moving crane took) to reach the save point. ****************************FAMILY TROUBLES**************************** Head forward and collect the 30 Beretta Bullets behidn the box to the left. Destroy the small crate there for a Painkiller and turn around. A moving crane will start coming towards you ,but slowly, switch to your Dual Berettas and gun down the thug driving it (It's on a higher level than you are). When he's dead, headfoward behidn the left box and wait until a thug comes nearby, strafe to the right with your Pump-Action Shotgun equipped and kill him with a single shell. Quickly run behind the next box to the right and shootdodge to the left. Nail the last thug waiting under the moving crane with a shell and collect all the ammo left behind afterwards. Go past the moving crane and continue forward until yo uspot a passageway to the left. Shootdodge forward while looking towards that passageway and gun down the 2 thugs there with your Desert Eagle. Wait for 2 other thugs to show their faces in that passage and gun them down as well. Collect all the ammo left behind and head forward to the intersection. Go down the corridor to the left and stop when you see a passageway to the right. Switch to your Dual Ingrams and shootdodge forward while looking towards the passageway. Quickly unload your Dual Ingrams into the thug there before he throws you a grenade and pick up his ammo afterwards. Continue down the corridor until you hear a thug speak, stand in front of the lighter crate in the wall to the left with your Pump-Action Shotgun and nail the thug that will open the crate with a single shell. Head inside the crate itself and collect the Painkiller, Sniper Rifle and 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets inside. Check the letter as well to trigger a cutscene and head back out. Continue down the corridor to the left until you spot another passageway to the right. Equip your Sniper Rifle and snipe both thugs at the end of that passageway. Run forward and jump across the small boat to the bodies of the thugs. Collect the ammo they left behind and head to the right at the end. Destroy the padlock on the door to the right and head inside. Collect the Desert Eagle, Ingram, 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and Painkiller there and go back outside. Head to the fence to the right and use your Dual Berettas to shoot the wheel block under the whell of thetrailer on the other side of the fence. Once it's gone slipping, switch to your Sniper Rifle and turn around. Go forward and turn to the left. Aim your Sniper Rifle ahead and pick off th thug on the other side of the corridor. Switch to your Sawed-Off Shotgun and jump across the small boat to the other side. As you run forward, a thug comes out from the left, shootdodge to the right and nail him with a single shell. Switch back to your Sniper Rifle and aim to the left. Strafe to the right into the corridor proper and snipe the two thugs in the corridor. Switch back to your Sawed-Off Shotgun and run forward. As soon as you near the passageway to the left, a thug comes out of it, shootdodge to the right and nail him with a single shell. Collect all the ammo left behind from the thugs and head on the bridge to the left of the last thug you killed. Ready your Desert Eagle and as you go on the right side of the crashed van on the other side of the bridge, a thug bursts out of a door on the right. Gun him down as he does so and switch to your Sniper Rifle. Aim straigth ahead and take a few steps forward, a door in the distance will open and a thug will start shooting you, since you're already aiming there, nail him with a single bullet. Go through the door the first thug came out of to the right and collect the 2 grenades on the shelves ahead. Open the medical cabinet to the right for 4 Painkillers and press the button on the wall to the left to open a secret area. Head inside and collect the 2 Desert Eagles along with the 10 Shotgun Shells on the shelves to the left. Collect the Painkiller on the table and the 2 Ingrams, 10 Sniper Rifle Bullets, 5 Shotgun Shells and a Grenade on the shelves to the right. Exit this room and shootdodge forward as you do so. Gun down the thug that will enter the room via the right, pick up his ammo and exit to the outside. Head to the right all the way to the end of the corridor and enter the door there to reach the save point. ******************CHAPTER 3: WITH RATS AND OILY WATER****************** Switch to your Sniper Rifle and snipe the thug on top of the crates ahead of you. Quickly switch for your Sawed-Off Shotgun and shootdodge to the right. Nail the thug running your way with a single shell and collect the ammo left behind. Break the small crate to the right of your starting point for a Painkiller and go towards the wall forward. Head to the left all the way to a bunch of shelves and collect the 100 Ingram Bullets, 24 Desert Eagle Bullets and 10 Shotgun Shells there. Return where you killed the last thug and head between the boxes to the left where he came from. Run forward to the boxes ahead and switch to your Dual Ingrams. Strafe to the right quickly and gun down the guy behind the shelves. Strafe back under cover and the thug on the catwalk should miss his grenade throw. Switch to your Sniper Rifle and aim in his direction. Strafe out of cover and snipe him quickly. Head forward to the shelves and collect the 2 Grenades, 100 Ingram Bullets and 10 Shotgun Shells. Go along the passageway to the right afterwards and quickly roll back as a grenade will fly in your general direction. Shootdodge to the left afterwards and gun down the thug that runs towards you (A single shell will work too considering how close he is). Collect the ammo left behind and head to the left the way the thug came. Shootdodge around the next corner to the left and gun down the thug there. As soon as you get up, aim through the catwalk above and gun down the thug there. Collect the ammo left from the fight and head to the left where the first thug was. Collect the ammo from the dead thug to the left at the end and head to the right along the corridor afterwards. Fro mthe wall. Follow the corridor to the left around the corner until you spot some shelves to the right at the dead-end. Collect the Painkiller, 10 Shotgun Shells, 100 Ingram Bullets and 60 Beretta Bullets and go back around the corner. Head to the right this time and head up the slope to the right to the railings above. A thug will exit somewhere ahead, follow the railing to the right until you hear him fire a few shots, turn around and nail him with your Dual Berettas. Continue along the railing and turn to the left. Follow the railing all the way to the thug's body and collect his ammo. Open the door to the right and quickly strafe out of the doorway. Wait until the moving crane is close enough, then blast through the doorway and gun down the thug on it. Jump inside and collect the 10 Sniper Rifle Bullets and the Sniper Rifle behind the thug's body, as well as the ammo he left behind. Equip the Sniper Rifle, crouch down and aim straigth ahead. Snipe the thug inside the cabin there and press the switch at the front of the moving crane to move it. Aim to the left as it does and snipe the thug inside the tower to the right of the crane there. Once the crane stops, press the button to the left of the one you pressed before to move the crane again. Aim to the left again and snipe the thug inside the tower there. Once the crane arrives to a stop, turn around and aim at the guard tower at the end of the path there to snipe another thug. Turn around again and press the button there to move the crane to the guard tower. Jump in the guard tower and check to the right. Aim at the ground to nail 3 thugs shooting at you, if they're not there, you'll see them soon enough, just remember that they,re on the ground, and armed with Ingrams (One with a Beretta), so if you hear that type of gunshot, you know where to look. Collect the ammo from the thug in the tower and collect the 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets and the Painkiller on the right. Hope back on the crane and press the button to the left. Press the same button a 2nd time when it stops and press it one third time when it stops again. Jump inside the tower to the left and collect the ammo from the thug. Aim to the ground on the left at the crane's intersection and take out the 2 thugs that appeared there. Collect the 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets, 50 Ingram Bullets and the Painkiller there and hop back on the crane. Press the button to the right. Once the crane stops, press the button to the left of the one you just pressed. Once it stops, press the next button to the left of the one you pressed to get it moving one last time. Hop in the tower to the right as it stops and collect the ammo from the thug there. Aim at the ground to the right to snipe 2 thugs that will appear there and collect the Painkiller along with the 24 Desert Eagle Bullets there. Jump back on the crane and hop off on the balcony to the right. Go through the doorway to reach the save point. ************************PISSING PUNCHINELLO OFF************************ Switch to your Sniper Rifle and aim at the catwalk on the opposite side of the room. In-between the railings to the left, you'll spot a thug, snipe him and quickly switch to your Dual Berettas. Aim at the ground ahead of you and kill the single thug there. Aim at the catwalk ahead of you again and gun down the 2 thugs that will pass running there. Head along the catwalk to the left afterwards and go down the slope to the right at the end. Go all the way to the right (Collect the ammo from the dead thus along the way) and head towards the table in the corner to the right there. Collect the Ingram and 50 Ingram Bullets on it. Break the nearby small crate on the ground for a Painkiller and head back to the body of the thug you just passed. Head to the right of the nearby slope to the left and shootdodge around the corner while looking to the right. Gun down the thug on the other side of the fencing there and backtrack to the first body you went past. Go up the slope to the left and follow the catwalk to the left at the top to a door. Keep your Pump-Action Shotgun handy and nail the single thug that will open the door as you run towards it. Collect all the ammo left behind and head through the door. Look via the widnow to the right and snipe the thug on the boat with your Sniper Rifle. Look back to the door you used and press the switch to the left of it. Ready your Sniper Rifle and stand in the doorway. Pick off the two thugs that will come up the catwalk and collect the ammo they leave behind. Exit this room and follow the catwalk back down the slope to the ground. Head under this slope via the left and go through the now-open door in the fence to the right. Collect the ammo from the dead thug and collect the Beretta along with the 60 Beretta Bullets on the table. Collect the stuff on the shelves too, which is: 100 Ingram Bullets, 10 Shotgun Shells, 24 Desert Eagle Bullets and a Painkiller. Once that's done, open the door to the left to trigger a cutscene and reach the save point. ****************************A DANGEROUS GAME*************************** Ready your Sniper Rifle and aim straight ahead. Pick off the two thugs there and go collect the ammo they leave behind. Go up the small slope to the ship itself to the right of their bodies and head forward in-between the two green stacks. Shootdodge forward at the end while looking to the left and gun down the thug there with your Dual Berettas. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and head to the front of the ship behind you. Break the small crate there for a Painkiller and return to the last thug you killed. Equip your SNiper Rifle and snipe the thug at the top of the stairs ahead. Switch to your Sawed-Off Shotgun and head forward. When you hear a thug yell, shootdodge forward into the small passageway to the left and nail the thug as he rounds the corner. collect the ammo he leaves behind and go to the left to collect a Desert Eagle and 12 Desert Eagle Bullets. Turn around and go up the stairs with your Pump-Action SHotgun handy. As oons at the thug opens the door at the top of the stairs, nail him with a single shell. Head inside the room itself and open the medical cabinet on the wallto the right for 4 Painkillers. Pick up the phone on the console to the right for a cutscene there. Turn around and open the doorway behind you. Nail the thug down the stairs with a single shell and go where his body is. Tur nto the left and nail the thug coming up the stairs as you see him with another shell. Head to his body and nail the next thug coming from the left. Go near the corner and throw a grenade at the wall, it should ricochet off it and down the stairs, blowing up the two thugs at the bottom. Collect all the ammo from the fight and ready your Dual Ingrams. Head at the very bottom of the stairs and open the door to the right for a cutscene. Shootdodge inside and spray bullets over the thugs ahead of you (Keep Boris for the end). There's no real strategy here but abusing the shootdodge and using up Ingram ammo, another way is to throw a grenade inside to dispose of most of the thugs at the start, but the course of action is yours to take. Once the 3 thugs are down, just focus your firepower on Boris while shootdodging and he should go down easy (Don't try to hide, he's got a Molotov Cocktail to lump your way and it hurts). If he's hiding at the end of the room, shoot the gas containers behind him to kill him without much trouble. Collect all the ammo left after the fight and head to the right of the room. Turn around and head forward to a small table in the corner. Collect the Painkiller, 100 Ingram Bullets and 10 Shotgun Shells. Turn around and head forward the small dark box in the middle of the room. Collect the Desert Eagle there along with the Ingram and collect the 2 Grenades along with the Painkiller on the large dark box behind this one. Get the Sawed-Off Shotgun on the small box forward to the left of this one and go through the doorway on the right at the end. There will be a short communication playing and you'll be into a real armory. Collect everything, that is: 20 Sniper Rifle Bullets, 120 Colt Commando Bullets, 20 Shotgun Shells, 2 Painkillers, a Grenade, 3 Sniper Rifles, 5 Colt Commandos, 48 Desert Eagle Bullets, a Desert Eagle, 2 Ingrams, 3 Pump-Action Shotguns and 60 Beretta Bullets. You should have pretty much all the ammo you could ever have for your current weapons at that point, head back out of this room and continue past this next room and a cutscene will kick in, taking you all the way to Chapter 4. **********************CHAPTER 4: NO PAYNE NO GAIN********************** As soon as you make a few steps forward, the whole place blows up into flame (Obviously, Punchinello wasn't to be trusted). Continue forward and turn to the right when you can. You'll see a corridor ahead, but it will be flaming, so turn to the left once you reach it's entrance. Head through the doors there. Follow the small corridor to a whole new room and the flames will catch up and ignite this room as well. Keep running forward and through the doors to the middle of the far wall. You'll be in another room where shelves will play a domino effect, quickly turn to the right when you can and turn to the left immediatly afterwards. Once at the wall there, go along it to the right and you'll reach a corner. Keep running to the right and take the door you'll see on the left. The walls of this corridor will start flaming, but you're safe as long as you run in the middle of the corridor. Head down said corridor to the right and turn to the left when you reach a corner. Another large room will blast flaming here, head forward a bit and turn to the left. Run straigth ahead to the entrance of another corridor there and turn to the left along the corridor. Follow the corner ahead to the right and you'll arrive to yet another flaming room. Follow the wall to the right until you hit an obstacle. Head to the left and jump over the table there. Continue follow the wall forward until you get to an intersection. The slope to the right is flaming, head to the left and follow this corridor. Go up the first set of stairs and head to the right. Go up the next set of stairs there and follow the corridor forward until you see a door to the left. Take it to reach the save point. *********************PUT OUT MY FLAMES WITH GASOLINE******************* Take a step forward and the whole room with blast into flames again. Quickly continue forward and turn to the right at the wall. Run through the doorway ahead there and turn to the right, the place blows up... again. Jump on the obstacle while hugging the right wall. Strafe to the left wall afterwards and jump over the next obstacle. Go around the corner while staying close to the left wall and strafe to the right wall. Quickly step back once you're near a container to your right as a gas container will explode against the wall ahead. Once it does so, head forward where it exploded and turn to the left. Go forward until you spot some gas container on the ground to the right. Jump on the first and through the shelves behind it. Head down the corridor to the right and turn to the left. Equip any firearm (Test out your Colt Commando!) and open the double doors to the left. Shootdodge to the left once you're past the doors and gun down the thug ahead of you. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and head near the tables to the right of his body. Collect the 2 Grenades, 5 Shotgun Shells, 50 Ingram Bullets and 12 Desert Eagle Bullets there. Throw a single grenade into the open service hatch to the left to kill the 2 thugs below and head to the left side of the thug's body. Check the last table to the left for 2 Painkillers and return to the thug's body again. Head through the corridor ahead and go down the stairs to the right. Collect the ammo from the dead thugs and head to the open manhole in the upper-right corner. Equip your Colt Commando and jump down the side of the ladder, you'll spot a set of stairs. Quickly shootdodge down the set of stairs while looking to the left and unload on all the thugs there, there's 5 of them in total. Collect all their ammo afterwards and head past the railing they were on to an intersection (Switch to your Dual Ingrams). Head down the railing to the right and strafe around the corner while looking down to the right. Gun down the thug below and shootdodge around the corner ahead while looking to the right. Shoot out the thug there and collect all the ammo left behind. Turn around and follow the railing ahead until you get to a corner. Shootdodge forward while looking to the left and unload on both thugs waiting for you there. Collect the ammo left behind afterwards and go up the stairs that was behind them. Open the door at the top to trigger a cutscene and reach Chapter 5. **********************CHAPTER 5: MURDEROUS HEARTS********************** Head down the stairs ahead and go through the doorway to the left. Collect the Desert Eagle on the floor and check the body on the table for a cutscene. Head back out of the room with your Desert Eagle handy, go into the room to the left and a thug will come out of the corridor ahead. Shootdodge to the right and gun the thug down. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and destroy the variosu boxes on the shelves to the left for a Painkiller. Turn around and collect the 10 Shotgun Shells, 50 Ingram Bullets and 60 Beretta Bullets on the shelves against the wall. Destroy the various boxes on them for a Painkiller as well, turn around afterwards and shootdodge into the entrance of the corridor ahead while looking to the left. Gun down the thug at the end of the corridor there and strafe back into the room. Switch to your Pump-Action Shotgun and wait while facing the corridor until a thug shows up. Nail him with a single shell and collect all the ammo left behind afterwards. Head to the head of the corridor where the thug was and turn to the left. Ready your Dual Ingrams and open the doorway. If the thug that was supposed to come by the corridor never did, he'll be in this room, unload on both thugs there and collect the ammo left behind. Get the 2 Painkillers on the barrel to the left and exit the room. Head forward along the corridor to a corner and turn to the left along it. Head forward to the side of the large incineraotr and a convo will trigger. Switch to your Pump-Action Shotgun and proceed forward. Turn to the left to face the corridor and nail the thug that will soon walk there with a single shell. Switch to your Dual Ingrams and shootdodge forward where his body his while looking to the left. Spray bullets all over the two thugs there and collect all the ammo left behind. Head back to the incinerator and go on the left side of it. Collect the 5 Shotgun Shells, 30 Beretta Bullets, 50 Ingram Bullets and 12 Desert Eagle bullets on the shelf there. Turn around and head back t othe room where you fought the thugs. Go to the right until you see a corridor to the right. Head along it and follow the stairs all the way to the top. Open the doorway and ignore the guy running out, you won't be able to get him before the door closes behind him. Collect the 50 Ingram Bullets on the counter to the left along with the 5 Shotgun Shells on the ground nearby. Head forward for 50 Ingram Bullets on the floor and collect 50 other Ingram Bullets on the counter ahead along with 3 Painkillers. Open the drawer of the large dresser to the left for 12 Desert Eagle Bullets afterwards. Check the cards on the middle table to trigger a cutscene and head through the door to the right afterwards (Make sure you got your Colt Commando equipped). Shootdodge tothe left as you enter the room and shootdodge to the left, aim for the 2 thugs on each side of the table before aiming for the middle guy, he's one of the Trio. Once the two thugs are down, quickly shootdodge on either side of the table and empty bullets into the Trio member, that should get rid of him. Switch to your Dual Ingrams and wait behind the table while looking at both doors into this room, 2 thugs will arrive by those, once you've picked off those two. Collect all the ammo left from the fight and the 50 Ingram Bullets behind the table itself. Open the drawer at the large dresser to the right for 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and go back to the previous room. Head through the doorway on the right this time and shootdodge inside while looking to the left. Gun down the thug there and collect his ammo. Stand where his body is and switch to your Dual Berettas. Take steps back while looking at the higher balcony, as soon as you can see the thug there, gun him down. Turn around and switch to your Dual Ingrams. Go forward through the next door to reach the save point. ****************************ANGEL OF DEATH***************************** Head forward into the room and quickly shootdodge forward while looking to the left. Fire at the plant near the couch there to kill the thug behind it and collect his ammo afterwards. Turn around and head throguh the double doors ahead. As soon as you open them shootdodge forward in the room while gunning down the first thug behidn the counter to the left, killing him before he throws a grenade your way. Gun down the next thug afterwards and collect the ammo left behind. Head behind the counter and collect the 3 Painkillers, 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and 50 Ingram Bullets there. Turn around afterwards, equip your Sniper Rifle and head to the next door on the wall ahead. Aim a little above you and to the right, when you open the door you should see a thug on a pillar on the stairs near the location you're aiming, quickly snipe him and aim at the balcony on the opposite side of the room, snipe the next thug there as he shows up and collect all the ammo left behind. Go open the lamp table to the right for a Painkiller and go up the stairs in the middle. Go to the left at the top and open the lamp table in that corner for another Painkiller. Head back to the intersection and go to the right. Around the corner to the end of the balcony and open the lamp post there for one last Painkiller. Switch to your Dual Ingrams and open the door to the left of you. Shootdodge inside while looking to the right and spray bullets all over the two thugs, aim at the man in the white suit last, as he's a member of the Trio. Once they're all dead, collect the ammo they leave behind and the 100 Ingram Bullets on the table in the room. Collect the Pump-Action Shotgun in the rack on the right wall afterwards and open the lamp table to the left of there for a Painkiller. Exit this room and a thug will escape via the door on the opposite of the room. Head towards that door and try to open it. Quickly backtrack all the way to the last door you crossed and switch to your Sniper Rifle. Aim through the doorway and pick off the thug inside (His M-79 can' treach you there). Return to the blown-up door and switch to your Dual Ingrams. Run into the room and shootdodge to the left while looking behind you when you can. Spray bullets all over the two thugs there and collect the ammo left fro mthe fight (And the M79, of course). Head to the bed where the last thugs were and open the lamp table to the left for a Painkiller. Collect the 3 M79 Grenades behind the first thug you killed in this room and go through the door to the right to reach the save point. ************************TROUBLE ON DAGGER HEELS************************ Switch to your Pump-Action Shotgun as you start and aim towards the door to your right. Nail the thug that will open it with a single shell and collect the ammo he leaves behind. Open the medical cabinet on the wall to the right of the sink for 3 Painkillers and go through the door behind you. Examine the woman's body on the bed to the right for a cutscene and continue forward to the next room. Collect the 5 Shotgun Shells on the set of drawers to the right and pick up the phone afterwards for a cutscene. Open the nearby door and quickly roll backwards to avoid the shot that will come your way, Vince will flee into the next room, so go into this one and follow the balcony around. Switch to your Dual Ingrams and open the door there. Shootdodge forward into the room and empty both clips into Vince straigth away from you. Once he's dead, shootdodge to the right and gun down the guy behind the small table in front of you. As soon as you land, turn around and shoot the thug behind you. Collect all the ammo left behind and collect the 50 Ingram Bullets behind Vince's body. Open the drawer on the large dresser to the right for 50 Ingram Bullets and open the drawer for the next dresser to the right of there for 12 Desert Eagle Bullets. Turn around, switch to your Colt Commando and head through the door straigth ahead of you then. A cutscene will kick in and you'll be attacked mid-way through. Shootdodge to the right and spray bullets all over the agents. They'll have killed Punchinello when they entered as well, be sure to be quick as those guys are professionals, as opposed to the thugs you've been encountering for most of the game (And they'll become regular enemies now). Once those 3 are dead, collect all the ammo they left behind and head out of this room. Go through the doorway to the right of this room and you'll be arrested, ending Part 2 of the game. *********************************************************************** PART 3: A BIT CLOSER TO HEAVEN *******************PROLOGUE: A VORTEX OF GREEN BLOOD******************* This is another dream sequence, induced by the dose of Valkyr the girl just gave you. You're pretty slow here too and the view gets very blurry when you turn around. Head forward to the open doorway and go through it. Go throughthe next doorway as well and Michelle's voice will echo, turn to the right and follow the corridor there around the corner to the living room. Head up the stairs to the left and go to the right once at the top. Head through the door you should be familiar with by now, and you'll end up in the baby's room again after following a corridor. A cutscene kicks in, afterwards you should go ahead to the wall and open the door to the left. Head through the next door to the left in this room to trigger a cutscene and reach the save point. *****************************FUNNY AS HELL***************************** Yep, still in dream, and back inside the same starting room as the previosu one, except the walls are flaming this time. Head forward and check the paper on the desk for a cutscene. Answer the ringing phone there for another cutscene and head forward. Go through the door to the left and poof! Back in the very same room with the phone ringing, except there's 2 more chairs in front of the desk. Check the paper on the desk again for a cutscene and answer the phone one more time for another cutscene. Follow the same path you did back in the first room and go through the doorway to the left. Go through both open doorways ahead of you and open the door ahead of you. Go through the next open doorway and head to the right. You'll be back in the living room, go up the stairs to the left and you'll be in another living room at the top. Go towards the corridor to the right near the 4 candlesticks to reach the save point. *************************THE KILLER WAS SMILING************************ (NOTE: Thought you could escape a dream sequence without a pointless, drawn-out maze? Think again! You start at point in this stage, but it's less lengthy than the first one.) Go straigth ahead along the blood trail into the dark area (The view gets really blurry, if you fall, you'll just get back to the beginning of the maze). Once you're at the large spot of blood on the trail, stop running and look down to the right. Jump on the lower spot of blood and follow it to the left to another spot of blood. Jump across straigth ahead to the next one and follow it to the right toanother spot of blood. Look below there and jump on the spot of blood far under you. Follow this trail of blood to the right and go to the left around the corner to a spot of blood. Jump to the right to the next spot of blood and follow this trail to the left to a spot of blood. Jump forward to the next spot of blood and follow the trail straigth ahead. Turn to the right along with the corner and jump to the large patch of blood ahead with the cradle. Touch the cradle itself to exit the maze. A double of yourself will rush at you and start shooting. You got Dual Berettas equipped now, shootdodge and pummel your double with bullets to end this annoying Prologue. ********************CHAPTER 1: TAKE ME TO COLD STEEL******************* You'll be in the old factory named "Cold Steel", in search of the mystery woman with Valkyr. You start on the roof with a Lead Pipe, Baseball Bat and Beretta. Break the nearby ceiling glass and fall through it into the storage below. Jump off the boxes and look through the doorway ahead. Aim your Beretta at the laser tripwire on the right wall in the corridor and fire once to blow it up, it shouldn't harm you. Go into the corridor itself and go to the right end. Enter the door on the right and open the 2nd closet on the right wall for a Grenade. Turn around and collect the 60 Colt Commando Bullets, Painkiller, Sniper Rifle and 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets on the shelves. Check the radio on the drawers to the right of the room for a cutscene and turn around. Open the door ahead of you and switch to your Sniper Rifle. Aim to the ground straigth ahead of you and snipe the single guard there. Step back into the room and switch to your Beretta. Wait until another guard opens the door and gun him down with it (Use shootdodges, as they can take quite a few shots). Collect all the ammo left afterwards (Colt Commando and Desert Eagle added to your arsenal) and head into the large warehouse. Follow the upper catwalk around to the opposite side of the warehouse and collect the Colt Commando and 60 Colt Commando Bullets on the shelves there. Head tothe right along the catwalk until you spot a set of stairs to go down. Do so and head to the front of the left side of the large container to the right at the bottom. Ready your Colt Commando and open the container. Shootdodge forward and gun down the guard inside. Collect the Pump-Action Shotgun he had and the 10 Shotgun Shells at the end of the container. Go back outside of it and head to the very right of the warehouse. Go to the right from the wall and enter this container for a Painkiller at the end. Turn around and head inside the container on the complete opposite side of the room for a Molotov Cocktail inside. Go back outside of the container and head to the wall to the right. Enter the second door on the right there and you'll hear a quick radio communication. Turn around and stay between the door and the window near the wall. Once you see a guard pass by the window, shootdodge out of the door and gun him down with your Pump-Action Shotgun. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and go back inside the room. Collect the 60 Colt Commando Bullets on the shelves to the left and collect the 24 Desert Eagle Bullets on the shelves ahead of you. Open the medical cabinet to the right for 3 Painkillers and exit the room. Head to the left to the next garage door and ready a grenade. Press the switch to the left of the door to open it and throw a grenade off the far wall from where you are, it should blow up the 2 guards inside of it. Collect the ammo left behind and head through the door past the garage door itself, you'll reach the save point then. **************************OPERATION DEAD EYES************************** There's a laser tripwire right in front of you, to avoid it, go through the door to the right and shoot off the tripwire from that room with your Beretta. Head back inside the starting room and past where the tripwire was. As soon as you take a few steps, a grenade comes out of the hatch in the right door. Quickly strafe back into the room you used to blow the C4 and wait at the doorway with your Pump-Action Shotgun. As soon as the guard opens the door, nail him with 2 shells and collect the ammo he leaves behind. Go back into the C4 room and through the doorway the grenade came out of. Head to the left to the garage door and ready your Colt Commando. Press the button to the left of the door to open it and shootdodge inside the room. Gun down the first guard ahead of you and quickly gun down the other guard that runs from behind him, he might throw a grenade so be ready to strafe out of the way. Once he's down, aim up and gun down the guard on the catwalk above. Collect the ammo left after the fight and go up the stairs to the left. Follow the catwalk to the right and open the medical cabinet to the left at the end for 2 Painkillers. Go back down the stairs and head up the small set of stairs where the first guard was. Collect the 60 Colt Commando Bullets on the box to the left there and go down the small set of stairs ahead. Push the button to the left side of the garage door straigth ahead to open it. Head through it and jump on the dark pieces of ground to the left (Don't touch the red one, it's instant death if you do) and head to the right while jumping. Once at the wall, jump on the ground to the right and collect the 60 Colt Commando Bullets, 100 Ingram Bullets, 12 Desert Eagle Bullets, Ingram and Painkiller on the shelves there. Jump over the boxes to the right, gun down the guard that opens the garage door, collect his ammo and head throguh the garage door. Head along the wall to the right and head up the small set of stairs to the left at the end. Head to the shelves straigth ahead and collect the 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets, 12 Desert Eagle Bullets, 30 Beretta Bullets and the Sniper Rifle there. Head back down the small set of stairs afterwards, ready a grenade and open the door ahead of you. Throw the grenade inside and strafe out of the way. This will blow up the 2 guards and the C4 in front of them. Head inside afterwards and into the small area to the right. Collect the Pump-Action Shotgun inside the closet straigth ahead and go back into the corridor. Collect the ammo from the dead guards, switch to your Sniper Rifle and open the door to the left. Aim straigth ahead and wait for a guard to show up, snipe him and switch to your Colt Commando. Backtrack into the room and wait for the door to open, nail the guard who opened it and head inside the large room. Go to the left and up the set of stairs on the right. Press the button to the left of the catwalk to make a bridge and turn to the right. Gun down the guard that comes out of the door you used to come here and continue on the other side of the bridge. Watch the stairs to the right and gun down the guard that will come down them. Collect all the ammo from the fight and head to the right. Collect the 60 Colt Commando Bullets on the boxes there and head up the stairs where you killed the last guard. Head through the door on the right at the top and go down the hallway there. As you reach the corner, gun down the guard that gets in your sight and shootdodge forward while looking to the right. Quickly shoot down the guard there before he throws his grenade and continue down the hallway. Shootdodge forward at the next corner while looking to the left and shoot down the guard there in the same manner before he throws his grenade. Collect all the ammo left afterwards and head through the door at the end of the hallway. Head tothe left and shootdodge tothe right as you reach the first set of boxes. Gun down the guard there and quickly target the one going up on the boxes once you get up. Collect the ammo left afterwards and continue down this corridor. Go up the stairs to the right at the end and go through the door there. Head forward until you hear guards talk, ready a grenade and throw it into the window to the left to kill them both. Head inside the room itself to collect their ammo and open the 2nd closet to the left for 5 Shotgun Shells. Collect the Pump-Action Shotgun on the table to the right and head for the shelves to the right. Collect the 30 Beretta Bullets and 60 Colt Commando Bullets there and check the radio on the desk near the door for a cutscene. Head back out of this room and go through the door to the left to reach the Chapter 2. ************************CHAPTER 2: HIDDEN TRUTHS*********************** Take a few steps forward and shootdodge ahead while looking to the left. Gun down the guard that will come throguh the doorway there and strafe forward while looking to the right afterwards. Shoot out the guard through the window there and collect all the ammo left behind. Go for the shelves to the left of your starting point for 30 Colt Commando Bullets, 30 Ingram Bullets and a Grenade. Head inside the room the last guard was in and open the medical cabinet to the right for 3 Painkillers. Collect the Pump-Action Shotgun on the desk to the left and collect the 30 Beretta Bullets on the shelves to the right. Open the closet to the right for a Molotov Cocktail and check the papers on the desk t othe left for a cutscene. Head back outside the room and open the doorway to the right. Shootdodge inside while looking to the right and gun down the guard there. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and destroy the small crate on top of the large one in the corner for a Painkiller. Throw a grenade in the laser tripwires ahead and stay behind cover to clear the way. Head forward and turn the wheel on the pipe to the right to shut off the flame. Open the doorway behind you then and shootdodge inside while looking below to the right. Gun down the guard on the lower level and shoot the one on the catwalk ahead once you get up. Go through the doorway at the end of the catwalk and throw a grenade to the right. Quickly hurry back out of the room and go back inside once everything blew up. Head to the left and collect the Grenade on the ground to the left. Continue forward and open the doorway to the right at the end. Shootdodge through it while looking to the right and gun down the guard on the other catwalk there. Collect all the ammo left behind and open the doorway at the end of this catwalk. Throw a grenade to the left and quickly head out of this room. Go back inside once everything blew up and pass through the flame jets as they go out (Be quick, they'll start up again after a few moments). As you pass by the last flame jet, shootdodge forward while looking to the right and gun down the guard at the end there. Collect the Ingram on th boxes behind you and aim through the window to the right of the corridor. Shoot out the short-circuited electric panel on the left of the room through it and jump over the small fence where the body of the guard is to collect his ammo. Head through the open doorway to the right and collect the Painkiller, 10 Sniper Rifle Bullets, 30 Beretta Bullets, Sniper Rifle, 60 Colt Commando Bullets and 50 Ingram Bullets on the shelves to the left. Turn around and turn the wheel on the pipe to the left of the room to shut off the flames outside. Head out of the room and open the doorway straigth ahead of you. Take a few steps back and watch the room ahead blow itself up. Head inside afterwards and follwo the right wall to the opposite side of the room. Once at the corner, head to the stack of boxes to the left. Go on the left side of the stack near the fence and jump onto the fence itself (Don't fall down, it's instant death). Follow it to the wall on the right and jump off on the railing to your left there, you should get no damage from the fall. Press the button on the right side of the catwalk to make a bridge and cross it. As soon as you hear gunshots, shootdodge forward while looking to the left, gun down the guard there and collect the ammo he leaves behind. Head inside the container he was hiding in and collect the M79 along with the 12 Desert Eagle Bullets there. Head back outside and collect the 30 Colt Commando Bullets on the box to the left. Head back to the stairs you used to get down on this part of the floor and shoot the two barrels on the forklift ahead. Head through the doorway behind them to reach the save point. ***************************A TIGHT OPERATION*************************** Wait a small while until a guard gets in your sight ahead. Simply gun him down and jump on the box to your left. Shoot at the laser tripwire on the left wall and go collect the ammo from the dead guard. Collect the 30 Beretta Bullets and 5 Shotgun Shells on the box near him and head to the left. Open the medical cabinet on the left wall for 3 Painkillers and turn around. Open the door ahead of you and head forward a bit. You'll hear a bomb explode, shootdodge inside while looking to the right and gun down the 2 thugs in that direction. Quickly retreat back in the door as a thug above will throw you a grenade, once it explodes. Go back outside and pick him off on the opposite catwalk above with your Sniper Rifle. Collect all the ammo left afterwards and jump on the stacks of itesm to the right of the room. Jump on top of the machine to the left and jump off on the other side. Head to the left up the small set of stairs and open the closet ot the rightfor a Molotov Cocktail. Jump back on top of the machine in the middle again and jump to the broken stairs on the opposite side of the room. As soon as you land. Turn to the left and shootdodge up the stairs. Gun down the guard that will have come through the doorway there and collect all the ammo left behind afterwards. Follow the catwalk to the left until yo uspot a large railing over the fence to the left. Jump on it and quickly gun down the guard that will come through the door downstairs. Turn along the railing to the right and jump over the fence at the end. Collect the 60 Colt Commando Bullets, 100 Ingram Bullets and the Painkiller on the shelves to the left. Backtrack to the catwalk via the railing and head to the right end of the catwalk. Open the door to the left and ready a Molotov Cocktail. Strafe through the doorway while looking to the left and throw a Molotov Cocktail at the bars while quickly going back under cover. This should kill both guards there. Head forward to the bars and collect the Painkiller on the box nearby. Open the door to the right and gun down the guard right behind it. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and open the closet to the left for a Grenade. Collect the 3 M79 Grenades, 60 Colt Commando Bullets, 10 Shotgun Shells and the Desert Eagle on the shelves on the left wall. Open the medical cabinet to the right for 2 Painkillers and turn around. Check the console straigth ahead for a cutscene, turn around and gun the guard heading inside this room afterwards. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and head out of this room. Go through the now-opened doorway to the right and open the door to the right. Switch to your Sniper Rifle and aim at the lower level to the left. Snipe the guard below and wait for a 2nd one ot show up, snipe him as well. Head forward along the catwalk and turn to the left until you spot a set of shelves on the right wall. Collect the Grenade, 100 Ingram Bullets, 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets there and head back to the door you used to get into this room. Head to the left of this catwalk this time and go down the stairs at the end. Turn around and head on the left side of the large container under the stairs. Open it and collect the 2 Berettas and the Painkiller at the end of it. Exit the container and go up the small set of stairs ahead of you. Open the closet to the right for 3 M79 Grenades and collect the 30 Colt Commando Bullets on the boxes to the left. Press the switch on the console to the left and the crane will damage a garage door. Head to the crane and use your M79 to blow up the damaged garage door. Switch to your Colt Commando and gun down the 2 guards past the hole. Collect the ammo they leave behind and open the door to the left of them. Shootdodge through it while looking to the left and gun down the guard there. Head out of the door and shoot the laser tripwires through the doorway. Go where the last guard you killsed was and collect the 2 Colt Commandos against the wall. Break the small crate to the right for a Painkiller and collect the 30 Colt Commando Bullets on the box behind you along with the 12 Desert Eagle Bullets. Head to the left along the corridor and go through the doorway to the right to reach the save point. ***************************THE NEXT DOORWAY**************************** Head to the left of the room, shoot out the laser tripwires ahead and walk forward across the small ledge near the wall. Once there's a flame in front of you, jump on the middle pathway to the right and jump over the red-hot log to the left. Follow the path forward while avoiding the flames, ignores the ammo to the right, you'll die if you try to get them (for now) and shoot out the laser tripwires to the left. Continue forward to the garage door and shootdodge inside while gunning down the two guards right behind the door. As soon as you land, quickly run back out of this room as a small cart comes into it and explodes. Re-open the door afterwards and collect the ammo from the dead guards. Jump inside the top trolley in the upper-left corner for 60 Beretta Bullets and jump back out. Turn around and press the switch on the left side of the garage door ahead and shootdodge inside while shooting the guard ahead of you. Gun down the guard to the right as you get up and collect the ammo they leave behind. Head up the small platform where the last guard was and collect the 30 Colt Commando Bullets, 3 M79 Grenades, 5 Shotgun Shells, a Colt Commando and a Grenade on the shelves ahead. Open the medical cabinet to the right for 2 Painkillers, press the switch to the right of there and head back out of this room. Open the garage door back to the starting room and head forward until you spot the ammo to the left. You're free to collect the Grenade, Sniper Rifle and 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets there. Head back to the previous room and go through the door to the right. Shootdodge to the left and gun down the guard there. As soon as you get up, gun down the next guard that will have rolled into view and collect the ammo they leave behind. Go where their bodies are and collect the 60 Colt Commando Bullets on the shelves there. Shoot out the laser tripwires to the right and open the door that was behind them. Ready your Sniper Rifle and snipe the guard on the opposite side of the room. Aim at the catwalk above and to the left to snipe the 2nd guard inside this room. Head inside the room proper afterwards and jump on the stack of items ahead. Jump on the small ledge to the right and head for the opposite side of the room. Jump off there and press the button to the right of the garage door ahead to open it. Shootdodge to the left as you open it and quickly gun down the guard there before he throws you a grenade. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and press the button to the right of the elevator door ahead. An alarm sounds, head back to the small set of stairs in this room and shootdodge in front of the elevator door, gunning down both guards inside as it opens. Collect the ammo they leave behind and press the button at the end of the elevator to reach Chapter 3. ***********************CHAPTER 3: FINAL REVELATION********************* After the intro part, you'll have to fight off two agents. Just stay where you start and gu nthem down through the glass doors ahead of you. Open the doors by the console to the right of them afterwards and collect the ammo left behind by the agents. Head to the middle of this room and examine the large logo on the floor for a cutscene. Head to the door on the right and open it via the console to the right of it. Head inside and shoot the gas container on top of the boxes to the left at the corner to take out all 3 guards ahead. Go collect the ammo they leave behind and destroy the various boxes near and on the shelves to the right. Collect the 30 Beretta Bullets there and turn around. Open the drawer to the right of the console there for 12 Desert Eagle Bullets and a Desert Eagle. Head to the glass doors to the right afterwards and open them via the console to the right of them. Continue down the left corridor through the doorway with the body blocking it and head to the doors to the right in this room. Use the console to the right of those doors to reach the save point. *****************************THE DEEP SIX****************************** Head forward and to the right to reach a stack of boxes. Head on the small platform to the left and open the drawer to the left of the console there for a Painkiller. Head back to where you started this stage and head to the doors ahead of you. Open them via the console to the right of them and head forward to the glass doors ahead to the left. Open them via the console on the right of them and head inside. Check the consoles to the right for a cutscene and you'll acquire a code. Head back all the way to your starting area and go to the right to the stack of boxes again. Go up to the small platform to the left and activate the keypad to the left ot open the doorway near it. Head inside and collect the 3 Painkillers on the shelves. Head back outside and go down the corridor to the right. Use the console on the right wall of the corridor to open the doors ahead, head into this elevator and press the button at the end of it. Head out of the elevator once it stops and go to the next doors on the right wall of this corridor. Open them via the console on the right of them and head inside. Open the left cell via the keypad and gun down the junkie inside of it. Head back out and continue to the left of this room. Open the 3rd cell to the right to free the scientist inside, you'll have to escort him back to where you got the code for the terminal. Follow him into the nearby elevator and head out as the elevator comes to a stop. Open the first cell on the left to the left and gun down the junkie inside. Head back out and go towards the scientist to the left. Head through the door with him and he'll hide behind the nearby boxes, shootdodge towards him while looking to the left and gun down the 2 guards that will be coming your way. Collect the ammo they leave behind and head to the doors to the right with the scientist. Follow the scientist through the glass doors and head inside the small compartment to the right to reach the save point. ***************************PROJECT VALHALLA**************************** Head forward to the doors and open them via the console on the right side of them. Head inside and open the drawers to the left for a Painkiller. Jump over the desk to the right and open the drawers there for another Painkiller. Turn around and head forward to the wall. Head to the doors to the left afterwards and open them via the console to the right of them. Press the button at the end of this elevator and throw a grenade through the door when it opens, that will blow away some of the tripwires ahead. Head inside the room proper afterwards and blow away the remaining tripwires from a distance. Head to the right and check the terminal with the logo for a cutscene. Head to the wall to the left and go towards the doors on the right there. Open them via the console to the right of them and press the button at the end of the elevator to go up. Head outside once the door opens and go to the next door to the right. Open it via the console to the right of it and enter the decomtamination room. Aim through the window to the left and take out the laser tripwire to the right outside. This will blow up the next door, head through it and towards the glass doors to the left. Open them via the console to the right of it and run through it. Head to the right to the end of the corridor and activate the console to the right of the doors to the right to open them. Press the button at the end of the elevator to go up and watch through the floor grate as everything blows up below you, make sure not to stand on it though. You'll be taken to Chapter 4 after this. *********************CHAPTER 4: BACKSTABBING BASTARD******************* B.B. screwed you over and now you're stuck in the situation. Quickly switch to your Sniper Rifle and aim straigth ahead. Pick off the 2 agents straigth ahead and head forward to collect their ammo. Aim to the right and pick off the 2 other agents far ahead there and collect their ammo as well. Jump on top of the barrels stacked againast the wall to the right and jump on the nearby vent in the wall. From there, jump on the roof and fire a gunshot at the light part of the shed to the right to make a doorway. Head inside and step on the air vent to the left to fall into the room below. Collect the Sniper Rifle and 15 Sniper Rifle Bullets on the floor there and exit the room via the door. Head to the right and go to the right from the wall. Once you see a passageway going down to the right, go down it and shootdodge forward when you spot 2 agents coming in your sight. Gun them down with your Colt Commando and wait behind the boxes to the right at the corner. Ready your Sniper Rifle and snipe the first agent from between the boxes and the wall and strafe to the left to snipe the 2nd agent. Go to the left for 5 Shotgun Shells and a Painkiller on the floor. Check the box on the left for 60 Colt Commando Bullets and head towards the bodies while looking to the right. Hide behind a pillarwhen you see the black van firing at you and shootdodge to the left. Gun down the two agents in front of you and collect all the ammo left from the fights. Head to the left wall and jump inside the cart in the corner for 60 Colt Commando Bullets. Jump back out and head to the right all the way in the corner. Open the medical cabinet on the wall there for 4 Painkillers and head to the right all the way to the corridor out of this parking lot to reach the save point. **************************ALIVE AND AT LARGE*************************** Strafe a bit to the right to see a agent ahead to the left, shootdodge and take him out. Quickly gun down the next agent straigth ahead of you as you get up and switch to your Sniper Rifle. Strafe to the body of the last agent you killed and aim down the slope. Snipe both agents down there and watch the black van speed off again. Collect the ammo from the nearby agents and head to the boxes where the first agent was. Collect the 100 Ingram Bullets, 10 Shotgun Shells, 60 Colt Commando Bullets and the Grenade there and head down the slope towards the bodies of the last thugs you killed. As soon as you reach the corner, aim to the right and snipe the two agents that will show up as the van speeds off. Collect the ammo from the nearby agents and head towards the last ones you killed. As soon as you pass the corner, step back a bit and wait until the explosion of the nearby car receedes. Run past it and shootdodge forward while looking to the right. Gun down the agent there with your Colt Commando and go collect his ammo. Continue forward and shootdodge ahead as you near the corner while looking to the left. Gun down the agent there, collect the ammo he leaves behind and open the back doors of the van behind you. Collect the Colt Commando, Pump-Action Shotgun, 2 Painkillers, 30 Colt Commando Bullets, a Grenade and 5 Shotgun Shells inside. Head to the right along the corridor afterwards and gun down the two agents that will come out from the right ahead. Collect the ammo they leave and switch to your Sniper Rifle quickly, snipe the agent down the slope there and head towards his body. Switch to your Colt Commando and shootdodge ahead while looking to the right as you reach the corner. Gun down the agent on the other side of the barred doorway and collect the ammo from the dead agent nearby. Head for the barred doorway ahead and shoot the padlock off it. Head through the doorway and quickly step back to cover when you hear an agent yell. When the screen stops shaking, shootdodge forward while looking to the right and gun down the agent there. Go around the barbwire to the left to collect the ammo of the dead agent and collect the 100 Ingram Bullets and 12 Desert Eagle Bullets near this side of the barred doorway. Turn around and head for the corner of this parking lot. Shootdodge forward as you near it and gun down the agent just around the corner. Quickly gun down the next agent that shows up ahead as you get up and take a few steps forward, hide on the side of the van to the left and wait for two thugs to come into view. Shoot them down one after another and collect all the ammo left from the fight. Jump into the cart in the corner to the left for 60 Colt Commando Bullets. Jump back out and head forward where the last agents came from. Shootdodge around the corner there while looking to the right and gun down the agent there before he throws a grenade your way. As soon as you get up, gun down the 2 other agents that should come from the right. Collect all the ammo left behind from the fight and head for the wall to the left. Follow it to the corner to the left and open the medical cabinet there for 4 Painkillers. Go back to the bodies of the last agents you killed and turn around. Go towards the boxes to collect 60 Colt Commando Bullets on them and return to the bodies. Go to the right to the back of a van and head through the open doorway to the right. Collect the 2 Colt Commandos, M79 and 6 M79 Grenades to the right and check the radio for a cutscene. Head back out then and continue forward through the doorway to the next corridor to reach the save point. ************************THE NAME OF YOUR ENEMY************************* Head forward and shootdodge forward while looking to the right as you reach the corner. Gun down both agents in the slope there and collect the ammo they leave behind. Go down the slope and look around the corner. You'll see the black van turn abruptly while lighted on fire, kill two agents and crash. Ready your Sniper Rifle and head forward until you spot an agent in front of you. Snipe him and switch to your Colt Commando. Shootdodge forward at the corner while looking to the right and gun down the two agents there. Ready your Sniper Rifle and head up in the corner near the car to the right, aim to the left in the distance and snipe the agent running there. Quickly switch to your Colt Commando and shoot down the agent that will show up on the other side of the car. Go towards his body and shootdodge forward at the corner while looking to the right. Gun down the agent there and collect all the ammo left behind afterwards. Check the hood of the car to your right for 10 Shotgun Shells. Continue forward to the wall and head to the right to the crashed black van. Go around it from the left and open the back doors of the van to the right there. Collect the Pump-Action Shotgun, 100 Ingram Bullets and 2 Painkillers there and head back to the front of the crashed black van. Head forward until the corridor's entrance and go to the left from there. Turn to the right in the next corridor's entrance and check behind the boxes to the left for 60 Colt Commando Bullets. Head down the slope behind you and shootdodge forward while looking to the right as you near the corner. Gun down the two agents there and shoot out the 3rd one that shows up as you get up. Jump into the cart to the left for 60 Colt Commando Bullets, jump back out and head at the bodies of the last agents you killed. Turn to the right and watch the ensuing cutscene. Some agents there are armed with Jackhammers, very powerful Shotguns, you either take them out quick from up close or from a distance. Hide behind the carts to the right and wait for an agent to show up to the left. Gun him down and switch to your Sniper Rifle. Head forward to the accident scene while looking through the corridor to the right. Snipe the agent there as you spot him and switch back to your Colt Commando. Go around the corner to the left and stay behind the large van there. Wait for an agent to show up to the right and quickly gun him down. Pick up the Jackhammer he had and wait there for 2 more agents to show up, take them out with a single shell each (Powerful gun, ain't it?). Now, switch back to the Sniper Rifle and head back to where the accident cutscene occured. Head to the left ot the barbed wire and stay behind the boxes to the right. Aim at B.B. throguh the wire and unload bullet after bullets into him, the boxes should absorb the Jackhammer shots and make it very easy for you to take him out. Collect all the ammo left behind afterwards and head to the right of the accident scene. Enter the small room to the left of this place and collect the 60 Colt Commando Bullets, 100 Ingram Bullets and the Pump-Action Shotgun there. Head back outside and go to the very right of the parking lot. Open the medical cabinet in the corner there to the right for 4 Painkillers and head for the stack of boxes behind you. Collect the Ingram, Pump-Action Shotgun and 30 Colt Commando Bullets there and return to the accident scene. Head for the wall to the left and check the pay phone for a cutscene, leading you to Chapter 5. *******************CHAPTER 5: IN THE LAND OF THE BLIND***************** After the revealing cutscene at the start of the chapter, agents will attack and Max will jump out of the room, but you still need to get back inside. Head through the small passageway to the left to a corridor and head to the right for a Painkiller at the end. Take your distance and shoot off the laser tripwires to the left. As soon as that is done, wait for a guard to come into your sight ahead. Gun him down and collect the ammo he left behind. Head to the right in the room he was in and go towards the right while hanging near the left wall. Shoot down the two guards that will come down the stairs on the other side of the shelves and collect the ammo they leave behind. Check the box to the right for a Grenade and check the shelves behind you for 60 Colt Commando Bullets. Head up the stairs the last guards came down from at that point and open the door at the top. Head to the right and shootdodge forward while looking to right once you reach the corner. Gun down the guard on the higher catwalk and continue to the left and open the door on the right at the end. Go inside the room and face the doorway to the left. As soon as the door opens, gun down the 2 guards that will appear on the other side. Open the medical cabinet ot the left in the room for 4 Painkillers and collect the 2 Pump-Action Shotguns on the rack to the right. Collect the Beretta and 12 Desert Eagle Bullets on the shelves to the right and check the monitor to the right of the shelves for a cutscene. Head out of this room by the door the guards opened and go to the right. Gun down the guard that will appear at the end of the corridor, collect all the ammo left behind and head to the left when you can. Open the door there and step back as you shoot the guard ahead. Wait until the Molotov Cocktail he threw to extinguish itself and go into the room. Aim to the left and gun down the guard that will come out of the 2nd elevator to the left. Shootdodge forward while looking to the right and gun down the guard in the middle of the stairs there. Collect all the ammo left behind and head up the stairs to the body of the guard. Head up the stairs to the rightand shootdodge at the top while looking to the right. Gun down the guard there and head up to the next room. Aim at the elevator door to the left and gun down the guard inside as the door opens. Collect all the ammo left behind, collect the Painkiller on the floor of the elevator the guard was in and go up the stairs to the right. A grenade will fall down, quickly roll back and aim at the stairs. Gun down the guard that will come down and go up the stairs afterwards to the next floor. Head through the double doors to the left at the top to reach the save point. *************************PROVIDING A SERVICE*************************** Open the medical cabinet to the right for 3 Painkillers and collect the 12 Desert Eagle Bullets on the table to the left. Head back to the starting point of this stage and throw a grenade at the corner to the left. That will take care of the laser tripwire there, head for that corner and look to the right. As you take a few steps ahead, a guard will knock down a part of wall, quickly shoot him down as he does. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and shootdodge forward while looking to the right from his body. Gun down the guard there and collect the ammo he leaves behind. Check the radio to the right of his body for a cutscene and shoot out the laser tripwires to the left. Go to the left where the laser tripwires were and head to the left once you're in the corner. Collect the M79 and 3 M79 grenades there and throw a grenade in the corner to the left to dispose of the laser tripwire there. Head towards it and go down the small corridor to the right until you spot a door to the left. Open it and quickly dash through to the corner ahead. Stay there until a guard shows up in the corridor and shootdodge to the right, gunning him down in the process. Shootdodge back to the left and gun down the other guard that showed up in the corridor. Collect the ammo they leave behind and go to the end of the corridor. Open the door to the left and head through. Check the tape on the desk to the left for a cutscene and go on through the next doorway. Check the plans on the desk to the right for a cutscene and turn around. Head through the open doorway there and go behind the desk to the left. Open the large dresser there for 30 Colt Commando Bullets, a Painkiller and a Desert Eagle. Open the door inside this room to your right to reach the save point. **************************A SCI-FI FORTRESS**************************** Shootdodge to the left as the stage starts and gun down the guard on the opposite catwalk. Go collect the ammo he leaves behind and open the door behind his body afterwards. Shootdodge through it and gun down the guard at the bottom of the stairs. Head to the left and look below at the balcony. Shoot out the laser tripwires there and go down the stairs to where they were. Head to the left at the bottom and open the door to the right. Shootdodge through it and gundown the guard ahead of you. Stay away from the edge of the balcony and aim to the floor below, gun down the guard there and head back through the door you used to get there. Go down the stairs ahead and head to the left at the bottom. Open the dor to the right and head through. Collect the ammo from the dead guard there and turn around. Head for the security desk and collect the Desert Eagle and Painkiller there. Head back throguh the door you used to get there and open the one ahead of you. Strafe down the stairs while looking to the left with a Molotov Cocktail equipped and throw one as you get around the corner, you should kill both guards that way, shoot out the laser tripwire in the stairs afterwards. Collect the ammo they leave behind and all the way down to the bottom of the stairs. Collect the grenade on the boxes to the right and open the door in front of the stairs. Shootdodge inside and gun down the agent ahead. Shoot out the laser tripwire between the wall and the boxes to the left and shoot out the next laser tripwires on the right wall. Collect the ammo from the dead agent and continue forward to the end of the corridor. Throw a grenade around the corner and hide back in the corridor to blow up the laser tripwires. Go around the corner and follow the corridor to the right until you spot a door on the left. Go through that door to be taken to Chapter 6. *********************CHAPTER 6: BYZANTINE POWER GAME******************* After the short intro, you'll be in a warehouse-type room. From where you are, shoot out the laser tripwires ahead to cause a domino reaction and shootdodge to the left. Gun down the two agents there and turn to the right. Take out the agent running in your sight there and ready your Sniper Rifle. Aim at the catwalk above to the left and snipe the two guards there. Collect all the ammo left behind and check the files on the table to the right for a cuscene. Jump on the slanted drawer cases to the left and follow them to a set of stairs. Jump on it and go up to the left. Follow the catwalk around until you spot the bodies of the guards you sniped, shootdodge forward then and take out the next guard coming through the doorway ahead. Collect all the ammo left behind and go through the doorway. Shootdodge forward while looking to the left and gun down the guard at the top of the stairs before he can throw a grenade. Go up the stairs and collect the ammo he left behind. Head to the left along the floor to the blocked door and open the medical cabinet there for 4 Painkillers. Go up the stairs to the right of the doorway you used to get there and turn around the top. Follow the floor to the right of the stairs to the end and open the door to the right there. Run inside and strafe a bit to the right. Gun down the two guards that descend in the room via a rope and quickly strafe to the right side of the room to kill a 3rd guard. If you were fast enough, no laser tripwires were activated, if not, you'll have to blow them up from a distance and use the broken pillar to reach the catwalk above, otherwise, just use the stairs at the end of the room. At the top, head to the corner to the left and head to the left there all the way to a door. Go through it to reach the save point. ***************************NOTHING TO LOSE***************************** Head forward in the corridor and shootdodge forward while looking to the left at the end of it. Gun down the 2 agents through the door there and collect the ammo they leave behind. Head to the end of the corridor they were in and collect the Sniper Rifle, Painkiller and 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets on the bench to the left. Return to the previous corridor and go through the door to the left. Head to the corner on the right and aim through the doorway on the right. Gun down the 2 agents that will show up and turn around. Collect the Sniper Rifle and 5 Sniper Rifle Bullets on the 2nd set of drawers to the right and go to the bodies of the last agents you killed. Head through the doorway to the left and wait until you spot an agent ahead of you, gun him down and ready your Sniper Rifle. Strafe to the left while looking at the catwalk ahead and to the left. As soon as you see an agent there, snipe him (Be quick, as a single hit from his Sniper Rifle will fill your health bar with red). Collect all the ammo left behind and head to the body of the last agent you killed. Look at the middle to the right and aim at the lower catwalk to the right. Snipe the guard there and collect the 30 Colt Commando Bullets on the bench to the left. Turn around and head forward to a door ahead. Open it and head through. Go through the doorway on the right and quickly gun down the 2 guards that will descend via a rope ahead. Collect the ammo they leave behind and go down the stairs. Open the door in front of you at the bottom and follow the corridor ahead to the corner. Turn to the left along it and open the door at the end. Head forward and collect the Jackhammer and the 40 Jackhammer Shells on the bench there. Return to the door you jsut came through and go collect the ammo of the dead guard to the left. Continue forward to the wall and open the door to the left. Head through and go through the doorway to the right. Go down the stairs to reach the save point. ****************************CLEAN UP DUTY****************************** Head all the way down the stairs and go to the left end of this corridor, you'll hear a few agents talk. Shootdodge into the doorway to the right while looking to the right of the room. Nail them both with your Jackhammer and collect the ammo they leave behind. Switch to your Colt Commando and turn around. Head for the dor to the right of the AESIR screen and open it to trigger a cutscene. Quickly hide behind the nearest pillar and when the middle pillar is down, head for the left side of the pillar you're using as cover. Shootdodge forward and gun down the agent there, as soon as you land, shootdodge to the right and gun down the agent there. Turn to the right as you land and kill the other agent there. Turn around quickly and pick off the 2 guards that will come through the main door at that moment. Collect all the ammo left behind and get the Painkiller at the security desk. Jump over the desk and head the main doorway ahead to be taken to Chapter 7. **********************CHAPTER 7: AN EYE FOR AN EYE********************* Recognize the building? You should. After the intro sequence, you'll be just inside the front entrance, and most enemies there are elite, even the regular guards. Enter the left metal detector and strafe to the left wall after the alarm starts ringing. Gun down the guard ahead of you and shootdodge to the right afterwards, gunning down both guards that will strafe in your sight. Collect all the ammo they leave behind and head into the room to the left at the end where the guards were. Go all the way to the far wall and equip your Sniper Rifle. Aim behind you and up. Strafe to the left and pick off a guard in the distance, quickly strafe back to the right to avoid the grenade blasts, repeat until all 3 guards are down. Switch back to your Colt Commando then and Go forward in the corridor. Once you spot a passageway to the right, shootdodge forward while looking tothe right and gun down the two agents there. Collect the ammo left behind and head to the very end of the corridor ahead. Turn to the right and open the door there. Go through and head to the right end of this room. Face the stairs to the right and shoot out the laser tripwire halfway through them. Go up the stairs and throw a grenade at the top to take out the laser tripwires there. Go up the stairs and hide behind the pillar the tripwires were on. Shootdodge on to the right and gun down the guard ahead and above. Shootdodge a 2nd time to the left to take out the guard at the top of the next step of stairs. Aim at the laser tripwire halfway through them and take it out. Head up the stairs and shootdodge forward once at the top. Gun down the guard straigth ahead and shootdodge to the right once you land to take out the next guard incoming from the passageway there. Collect the ammo left behind and head forward where the last guard was. Head to the right there and open the medical cabinet for 2 Painkillers. Head back to thestairs you used to get to this level afterwards. Follow the floor on the right side of the stairs you used to get to this level and face the stairs at the end there. Shoot out the laser tripwires half-way through them and go through the door to the right. Shootdodge forward while looking to the left and gun down the guard there. Collect the ammo from the dead guards and go back to the stairs. Head up them and turn around once at the top. Follow the floor to the right of the stairs you went up on and shootdodge forward when an agent shows up ahead. Gun him down and collect the ammo he leaves behind. Head through the door to the left at the end and collect the ammo of the dead guard there. Go back to the previous room and head through the open doorway straigth ahead to reach the save point. ***************************STONE-COLD DEAD***************************** There's moving lasers in front of you, wait for the first one to be at the botom and jump over it. Once the 2 lasers are at the bottom, jump over that set and wait for the next one to spring to the top before passing under it. Gun down the guard that will appear at the end of the corridor then and jump over the next set of lasers when they're both at the bottom. Wait for the next one to fly at the top to pass under it and jump over the last one when it's at the bottom. Shootdodge forward at that moment and gun down the guard that will come from the right. Shootdodge towards the body of that guard while looking to the left and gun down the next guard coming your way. Collect all the ammo left behind and head to the body of the last guard you killed. Follow the floor ahead and to the right to a dead-end. Open the medical cabinet there for 4 Painkillers and return to the body of the last guard you killed. Shootdodge forward while looking a bit to the right and gun down the 2 new guards there. Collect the ammo left behind and head to the first door in the corner to the right. Ready your Jackhammer and press the button to the left of it to trigger a cutscene. Shootdodge to the right while looking behind you and gun down the single agent there. As soon as you land, shootdodge towards his body and take down the two agents coming behind the previous guy you sent to the grave. Collect all the ammo left behind and press the button next ot the elevator for another cutscene. Embark in the elevator, collect the M79 and 3 M79 Grenades, but don't start the elevator up yet. Switch to your Sniper Rifle and aim through the hole of the ceiling. Take out the 5 laser tripwires above and then you can start up the elevator (If you ran out of Sniper Rifle Ammo, just use your Dual Ingrams as the elevator goes up to destroy the laser tripwires remaining). When the doors open, run out inside and shootdodge while facing to the left. Gun down the two agents there and run to their bodies when you get up. Collect the ammo left and take steps back while looking up until you see the agents on the higher catwalk, take them out as you see them. Turn around and head into the doorway to the right at the end. Shootdodge inside while looking to the left and gun down the agent there. Collect the ammo left afterwards and open the medical cabinet on the left for 2 Painkillers. Turn aroundand head for the console on the right wall. Open the button case and press the button there to unlock the elevators. Exit via the door to your right and shootdodge forward. Gun down the agent there and turn around quickly. Shootdodge to the left and gun down both the guard and the agent in that direction. Collect all the ammo left afterwards and head at the far end of the room. Enter the 3rd elevator from the left to reach the save point. ***************************TAKE YOUR PICK****************************** Press the button to go down with the elevator, a chopper will start gunning towards your helpless self and the elevator will stop. Blast the window to the left and jump down into the next elevator. Quickly press the button ahead to head down and face the doorway to the left. Shootdodge through the door when it opens while looking to the right and gun down the 2 agents there. Quickly turn around and gun down the agent that will come there. Turn around again and shootdodge forward at the bodies of the first agents you killed while looking to the right. Gun down th agent straigth ahead and run forward while looking up to the right. Gun down the agent on the catwalk above and collect all the ammo remaining from the fight. Head in the middle of the 4 pillars under the large screen. Shoot the middle section of two of them and the screen will shake. Aim towards the left side of the room and gun down the 2 guards that will appear there. Take out the last 2 pillars and all the elevator locks will be released. Head to the right side of the room and shootdodge towards the wall while looking to the left. Gun down the guard inside the elevator and head inside yourself. Press the button to head upwards and run out of thedoor as it opens. Continue ahead and turn to the right to see the stairs. Hide behind a nearby pillar and shootdodge to the left when you spot 2 guards and an agent going down the stairs. Shoot them all down and collect the ammo left behind. Go up the stairs and hide behind the pillar to the left. Wait until you spot two guards coming from the corridor to the right and shootdodge to the right, gunning them down while doing so. Look to the left as you stand up and gun down the guard coming from that direction. Turn to the left and go through the door ahead of you. Shootdodge forward while looking to the right inside and gun down the agent there. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and go back through the door you used to get here in the first place. Head through the next door ahead of you and into the main room to the left. Head behind the desk to the right and check the computer for a cutscene. Go into the small room to the left and press the button to the left of the door there to reach Chapter 8. **********************CHAPTER 8: A WARRIOR'S HEAVEN******************** After the intro sequence, Horne will flee and leave you to her goons. Quickly roll to the right and shootdodge right afterwards, that should make you avoid the grenade blast. Gun down the first 2 agents as you shootdodge and shootdodge forward to their bodies while looking to the left afterwards. Gun down the 2 other agents there and collect all the ammo. A short cutscene will issue at that point and the chopper will start trying to nail you again. Head behind the statue to the right of your starting point and crouch down. Stay there until the chopper goes away from this location. Ready your M79 in the meantime and wait for the large garage door to the left to open. As soon as it does, fire a grenade inside to kill the two agents there and head inside yourself to collect the ammo they left behind. Head to the left there and press the button on the right side at the end. Quickly turn around and gun down the agent in the elevator as it opens and collect the ammo he leaves behind. Press the button behind you again and head through the door it opens. From there, go through the door to the right and jump on the small ledge to the left over the balcony. Follow it to the left (Be careful not to fall, it's a long way down...) and the choper will come out again to fire at you, don't stop running and he'll miss you. Jump on the balcony to the left once you reach the end of the ledge and enter the door on the balcony. Head at the end of this room and go through the door on the right to reach the save point. ************************A ONE-WAY DEMON RIDE*************************** Quickly aim to the right and gun down the agent coming down the stairs there. Collect the ammo he leaves behind and try to go up the stairs. As soon as you hear an agent talk, roll back down as a grenade was thrown. Go back up the stairs after the explosion and shootdodge to the left at the top. Gun down the two agents there and switch to your M79. Aim at the end of the corridor and fire a single grenade as soon as you see the agents get out of the elevator to blow them both. Switch to your Jackhammer and shootdodge forward while aiming to the right and gun down the agent coming through the center doorway. Collect all the ammo left behind, as well as the 100 Ingram Bullets behind the chair to the left and go through the doorway the last agent opened. Shootdodge inside and gun down the 2 agents ahead of you. Once you get up, take down the agent coming through the door on the right. Collect all the ammo left behind and head behind the stack of benches on the other side of the room for 60 Colt Commando Bullets. Open the door to the right and shootdodge inside while looking to the left. Gun down the 2 agents there and collect the ammo they leave behind. Get the 100 Ingram Bullets where the bodies are and turn around. Open the door ahead of you and head through. Go to the right andshootdodge ahead while looking to the right. Gun down the agent that will come through the door there and continue forward. As soon as another agent rolls into view, gun him down as well and collect all the ammo left behind. Go up the stairs behind the last agent you killed and step into the large room at the top. Quickly roll back and stay at the corner until the agent moves close enough. Shootdodge to the right and gun him down. Shootdodge forward and gun down the agent to the right afterwards. Shootdodge to the right and gun down the agent at the far-end of the room. Quickly turn around and gun down the last agent behind you then. Collect all the ammo left behind and head behind the desk at the far end of the room. Press the button to the left of the desk and head inside the secret door to the left that just opened to reach the save point. *************************PAIN AND SUFFERING**************************** Go up the stairs and ignore Horne when she opens the door at the top. She'll shoot and miss (At least, she always did for me), as well as throw you a grenade. As long as you keep running, the grenade will miss. Open the door at the top and a cutscene will play out. You need to shoot off the cables keeping the tower stable. From where you are, turn around and shoot off the cable at the base to trigger a cutscene. Quickly switch to your M79 after it and turn around. Fire a single grenade forward to kill all 4 agents coming at you. Go collect the ammo they leave behind and you'll have a few Sniper Bullets if you didn't have any. Stand on the corner where the previous cable was and aim all the way to the left at the next cable. Fire at the joint there and switch to your Colt Commando or Dual Ingrams, unload them all on the tower in the middle of the roof. Watch it collapse and enjoy the ending movie. ***************************THE LAST CHALLENGE************************** (NOTE: You won't access this stage unless you were playing on Dead On Arrival difficulty.) NOTE2: It might be a glitch, but reaching this stage only added End Credits to my level selection screen, while finishing the game at Fugitive and Hard-Boiled never added that selection, a space still remains in Part 3, Chapter 8 that's unfilled. It's possible it's the "Last Challenge" stage, but I have no idea why it didn't show up on my screen. Collect all the ammo you need around you (There's 3 Jackhammers, 2 Molotov Cocktails, 3 Colt Commandos, 7 Painkillers, 3 Pump-Action Shotguns and 3 Ingrams) and head forward. As soon as you step into the large room, there's an infinite Bullet Time that will kick in and agents armed with Jackhammers will start streaming out of corridors to the left and right side of the room at the far end. You'll have to take down every single one of them. My suggestions in the order of which weapons to use are: M79 (If you have ammo left for it), Dual Ingrams, Colt Commando, Jackhammer. ALWAYS remain at the farthest side of the room (Where you begin) as you can't hope to survive a close encounter with multiple agents armed with Jackhammers. If you need it, there's an M79 in the middle room surrounded with glass walls inside this large room. Don't overuse Shootdodging this time, keeping your distance and being efficient is the key, shootdodging messes up your aim and you take a pause to be able to spring back up once you land, focus on strafing and using the various things in the room as cover. Altern between both sides of the room in the hope of letting nobody near you. If you have 10 shots of M79, you stand large chances of winning. Once the infinite Bullet Time starts, head to the left side of the room and step forward about 3 or so steps. Start strafing left and right (Never stop). The shots from the agents ahead should miss you, once there's about 4~5 of them near, fire a grenade to dispose of them. From where you are, the agents coming fro mthe right side should take the upper path and arrive where the left side is right ahead of you, allowing you to dispatch them easily. The strafing from this distance should make you avoid every Jackhammer shells from this distance and if you run out of M79 ammo before they're all dead, you shouldn't have many more to kill. Hopefully at some point you'll have killed them all and the infinite Bullet Time will end. You'll only have to walk through either corridor they were streaming out of and follow the path to a doorway. Once through it, you'll be in an exposition room with photos of the various locales in the game on each side, along with a group pic of the developers who made the game in the middle. Head behind the midle pic to spot a spinning Remedy icon (The company's icon, to be precise). There's apparently no other things to see in this room or a way out, but to load from another point, from what I found. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Extras This section lists the few extras you can unlock in the game (Or access), as well as their own descriptions, no cheat codes are available here, or mentions of certains things to shoot to receive a few sayings by Max (Like the speaker in the elevator). ******************************HARD-BOILED****************************** Acquired: Finish the game at the Fugitive difficulty level to unlock this difficulty level. Description: Lower capacity to endure blows, this time you're nearly sure not to survive a grenade blast. Your aiming isn't as good as it was over the distance and your healing capacities are slower (As well as Painkillers healing less). The enemies seem to have an enhanced speed and reaction time (As well as starting to dodge more early), but they don't seem any stronger than they were. They do, however, pack explosives (Like Grenades) a lot more often and early (At least it seemed to me, where thugs would use grenades where I don't remember seeing them do, like Lupino using Molotov Cocktails). ****************************DEAD ON ARRIVAL**************************** Acquired: Finish the game at the Hard-Boiled difficulty level to unlock this difficulty level. Description: The ultimate challenge of Max Payne, at this difficulty level, the computer provides no assistance to your aiming, so you'll need to be accurate with your aim, better to turn the sensibility way down. Your capacity to endure damage stays the same as it was at Hard-Boiled, but you heal a lot slower. Luckily for you, there seem (Might be wrong) to be more Painkillers in a few locations. The bad guys have more health to themselves, so you'll need to pack extra firepower to take them out this time. Their aim gets really good as well, don't be surprised if you die in one-shots from Shotguns, this time the whole spread gets you. Unlike what the manual says, the autosaves are still at the same spots (and, I think they forgot to edit it out from the PC/PS2 conversion. ****************************NEW YORK MINUTE**************************** Acquired: Finish the game at the Fugitive difficulty level to unlock this difficulty level. Description: Every chapter has time limit and you need to finish the stage before it runs out. For each enemy killed, you get more time to your counter. The enemies difficulty seem to remain at Fugitive, the only difference here is the added trouble of a timer. Time goes down according to the action, using Bullet Time slows down the timer along with gameplay, cutscenes stop the timer during the time they play as well. It's like a time attack mode to beat your own speed records. The timer follows you through at the amount you had left in-between save points, but resets to 1 minute at the beginning of chapters. Some Chapters reset to an higher amount, like Chapter 6 of Part 1 which resets at 2 minutes. At the end of the game under this setting, you'll be given your total game time, Rockstar's game time record was of 56:23, I don't know if anything is opened up by beating it (As I wasn't able to). ***************************THE LAST CHALLENGE************************** Acquired: Finish the game at the Dead On Arrival difficulty level to reach this stage right after the end cinematic. Description: Easily the hardest stage to complete in Max Payne, there's a short walkthrough at the end of the walkthrough section.
