Version 1.0 - FAQ was submitted. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.1 Introduction |SRID ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (PLEASE READ) Hello and welcome to an FAQ/Walkthrough for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 for the Playstation 2. I am your host, nm14. The purpose of this walkthough is to guide you through each goal throughout the game. Additional information (side stuff) will be added after I complete the essential walkthrough. I will include secrets and cheats that will enhance your play, so if you are not looking for spoilers throughout the game, you are probably in the wrong place. I would advise you to click the back button in the top right corner. Anyway, enough of this business. Let's get down to the core part of the document. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.2 E-mail Policy |SREP ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- bjsalari[at]hotmail[dot]com bjsalari(at)hotmail(dot)com I will accept any emails as long as they follow the below guidelines. If you need further explaination in the walkthrough, go ahead and e-mail me. (PLEASE READ) Hey everyone. This is the e-mail policy portion of this FAQ. I am going to list what I believe to be "acceptable" or "unacceptable" e-mails. Of course, it would be very wise of you to correctly e-mail me if you are hoping for a response. Also, if you have made a mistake when e-mailing me, it is very likely I will block you so that you cannot send me any more messages. So, now that you all know what will happen if you incorrectly e-mail me, you have to find out what is acceptable and what is unacceptable. Please read below. Do you have information that we have not covered in this FAQ? Well, read below. If you happen to know something in the FAQ please e-mail me. I am always interested in adding information from readers, but there are a few exceptions. If this FAQ is NOT labeled "Final" as its version, your added information may not neccessarily be used. I could possibly already know your information, but have not gotten to that section yet. So, do not guarantee that I will post your comments just because you were nice enough to e-mail us. Now, for a little more about an "acceptable" e-mail, let's talk about the subject of the e-mail. I get a lot of e-mails about other FAQs that I have written, so I can easily miss your e-mail unless you identify it. So, in the subject line, please include the words "Tony Hawk 3 FAQ" in your subject line. This makes it a lot easier to sort things out in my e-mail. If you do not refer to what game you are commenting/asking for help on, I will most likely ignore the entire e-mail. The last aspect that we would like to talk about is reading the FAQ. If you are in doubt, check around the entire FAQ before coming to us for direct help. It is likely that information is in other parts of the FAQ, and not neccessarily the part that you are looking at during that very moment. Any comments that are already answered in this FAQ will simply be ignored and blocked, as I have taken a lot of time to write this guide for you, you can do a little something for me as well. If any of the above guidelines are not followed correctly your e-mails will be considered "unacceptable" and I am sure you know what that means. I personally think that it will be simple to follow the guidelines, and you will not have to worry very much about the process. Thank you, again, for your cooperation. =============================================================================== C H A P T E R 2 |SRCH2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== 1.) Manual. This is the cream of the crop for this game. It can connect tricks to obtain insain scores. It allows you to do more than one set of trick, while doubling that score on top of that. To do a manual, simply press up+down or down+up before landing on the ground. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 2.) Revert. This is a useful way of doubling your score after you have done a trick. Simply press R2 after you do a trick off of a halfpipe or quarterpipe. This will change your stance from goofy to regular, or regular to goofy. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 3.) Try to vary your tricks. You have plenty of tricks to choose from: grabs, flips, grinds, specials, and lip tricks. Each time you do the same trick, your score for that trick will decrease by 25 percent of the last time you did that trick. Once you have done most or all of the tricks, you can start doing the same trick again, otherwise avoid it. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 4.) Look for gaps around levels. There are plenty in each level, and each time you do a trick over that gap, you get double the points you obtained. This is an easy and useful way of getting points in competitions, or when you are just having fun. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 5.) Do as many trick as you can before you land. For example, if you were to get 5,000 points for doing a 720 cannonball, your score can go up 25 percent by doing another trick, like a 720 cannonball+varial kickflip. This can get you up to 7,500 points. An easy and useful way to obtain points. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 6.) Finally, do as many special trick as you possibly can. This is an easy way to get maximum points, because it is another type of trick, and it gives more points than any other trick in this game. Many people think they are a waist of time, but they can get more points by thousands if you are willing to put a little effort forth. =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.3 FAQs |SRFQ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== 1.) Q - Is this a replayable game? A - That is basically what it is. This game has so many cheats and features, that it could be replayed for a significant reason quite a few times. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 2.) Q - How does this compare with the Tony Hawk series? A - Well, I am a late bloomer, as I wrote this faq while Tony Hawk Underground is now out. I believe that each Tony Hawk is better than the previous, so when this game came it out, it was a success. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 3.) Q - Can I play online? A - No, not for this game. I believe it starts to function online during the fourth game of the series. Sorry! =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 4.) Q - Who is a good player to start out with in the beginning? A - Well, I would have to say Tony Hawk because he, after all, is the best player in the game. In my opinion, the best player helps the worst controller. What do you think!? =============================================================================== =============================================================================== 5.) Q - Anything special for beating the game? A - Well, like all Tony Hawk games, you get a video that shows a little bit about the character you beat the game with. Also, you can unlock many secrets throughout the game. If you are in need of seeing the cheats, you might as well look at my Secrets section of this FAQ. =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.4 Items |SRIT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== Stat Points - There are five stat points in each level. They are orange, and say Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on them. When you obtain a stat point you can increase your stats by one point. Try to collect as many as you can. I have a section on these at the bottom of the faq. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== Decks - These are certain decks that are found throughout the level. You can ride the decks by choosing them in the lobby. They are basically only for looks and not for making your player perform better. =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.5 Tricks |SRTI ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== Flip Tricks =============================================================================== Flip tricks involve the movement of the board, and not the body parts of the skater. One of the interesting facts about flip tricks is that you can combine the trick into a double or triple flip. For example, you can do double or triple kickflips which are worth many more points simply by tapping the button two or three times. This applies for all the flip tricks, but the look the best on kickflips, heelflips, and pop-shove its. ------------ +--------------------------------------+ Point Values |x/y; x = Regular stance and y = Switch| ------------ +--------------------------------------+ Kickflip<-------------------------100/120-------------------------------------> Heelflip<-------------------------100/120-------------------------------------> Impossible<-----------------------100/120-------------------------------------> FS Shove-It<----------------------100/120-------------------------------------> Pop Shove-It<---------------------100/120-------------------------------------> Varial Kickflip<------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Varial Heelflip<------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Hardflip<-------------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Inward Kickflip<------------------350/420-------------------------------------> Kickflip to Indy<-----------------400/480-------------------------------------> Kickflip to Crail<----------------400/480-------------------------------------> 360 Flip<-------------------------500/600-------------------------------------> Front Foot Impossible<------------500/600-------------------------------------> Ollie Airwalk<--------------------500/600-------------------------------------> Ollie North<----------------------500/600-------------------------------------> Double Impossible<----------------500/600-------------------------------------> Double Kickflip<------------------500/600-------------------------------------> Double Heelflip<------------------500/600-------------------------------------> 360 Shove-it<---------------------500/600-------------------------------------> 360 FS Shove-it<------------------500/600-------------------------------------> 180 Varial<-----------------------700/840-------------------------------------> Fingerflip<-----------------------800/960-------------------------------------> Heelflip Varial Lien<-------------800/960-------------------------------------> Sal Flip<-------------------------900/1080------------------------------------> Varial<---------------------------900/1080------------------------------------> 360 Varial<-----------------------900/1080------------------------------------> Beni Fingerflip<------------------1000/1200-----------------------------------> Triple Kickflip<------------------1000/1200-----------------------------------> Triple Heelflip<------------------1000/1200-----------------------------------> Triple Impossible<----------------1000/1200-----------------------------------> 540 Shove-it<---------------------1000/1200-----------------------------------> 540 FS Shove-it<------------------1000/1200-----------------------------------> =============================================================================== Grab Tricks =============================================================================== Grab tricks involve the circle button on the Playstation 2 controller. They usually provide the majority of your points when you do spin tricks. You will probably want to use these tricks when you are going off of a quarterpipe or a halfpipe. Try to avoid these tricks when you jump on and off of rails. They are slower than flip tricks, and therefore they need more air in order for you to get the maximum amount of points. ------------ +--------------------------------------+ Point Values |x/y; x = Regular stance and y = Switch| ------------ +--------------------------------------+ Benihana<-------------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Crail Grab<-----------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Cannonball<-----------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Indy<-----------------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Melon<----------------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Nosegrab<-------------------------300/360-------------------------------------> RoastBeef<------------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Seatbelt Air<---------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Tailgrab<-------------------------300/360-------------------------------------> Crossbone<------------------------350/420-------------------------------------> Crookedcop<-----------------------350/420-------------------------------------> Japan<----------------------------350/420-------------------------------------> Del Mar Indy<---------------------350/420-------------------------------------> Mute Stalefish<-------------------350/420-------------------------------------> Tuckknee<-------------------------350/420-------------------------------------> Airwalk<--------------------------400/480-------------------------------------> Method<---------------------------400/480-------------------------------------> Rocket Air<-----------------------400/480-------------------------------------> FS Shifty<------------------------500/600-------------------------------------> Stiffy<---------------------------500/600-------------------------------------> Madonna<--------------------------600/720-------------------------------------> Wrap Around<----------------------700/840-------------------------------------> Judo<-----------------------------800/960-------------------------------------> One Foot Japan<-------------------800/960-------------------------------------> =============================================================================== Grind Tricks =============================================================================== Obviously there is no exact value for a grind trick, because you can never stay on the rail for exactly the same time, and the time is not even important. Grind the entire rail to reach the | | |goal. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Secret Tape |From the start, ollie to the upper | | |stairs on the right. Follow this path to| |(All characters) |the end. Jump through the glass onto the| | |middle rail. At the end is the prize. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Soak the Foreman |From the start, head to the right side | | |of the level. Head to the back of the | |(All characters) |pool, and grind the gadget. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Grind the Molten Bucket |For this goal, you might want to improve| | |your stats in air, as it is hard to | |(All characters) |reach your destination. Anyway, head to | | |the back of the level near the lava pit.| | |The bucket will pour lava every once in | | |a while. Get some speed and ollie onto | | |the small rail sticking out. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Un-Jam 5 Valves |There are five basic valves that need to| | |be grinded. They are all in a circle | |(All characters) |around the level. Start on the left side| | |and make your way in a circle. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.2 Canada |SRCA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ____ _______________ |Goal| |How to/Location| +------------------------------------+----------------------------------------+ |High Score: 35,000 Points |I did this by grinding on the few grinds| | |in the beginning. Then use the grinds | |(All characters) |and manuals up and down the level to get| | |this easy score. | | | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Pro Score: 70,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Sick Score: 120,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Grind on the fence in the beginning | | | of the level. | |Hawk, Glifberg, Margera, Reynolds, |K - Head to the pool area. The K is | |Thomas | floating near a car parked. | | |A - Continue forward from K. | | |T - Grind on the fence directly opposite| | | of the A. | | |E - Jump off a quarterpipe in the pool | | | area onto a totem. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Directly to the left of the start of| | | the level. | |Muska, Lasek, Campbell, Steamer |K - The K is on the top of the wooden | | | house. | | |A - On the top on a log transfer. | | |T - On the next grind after the A. | | | | | |E - Use the quarterpipe near the end to | | | transfer and obtain the E. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Grind on the fence in the beginning | | | of the level. | |Koston, Mullen, Caballero, Rowley |K - Head to the pool area. The K is | | | floating near a car parked. | | | | | |A - Continue from K. | | | | | |T - Grind on the fence directly opposite| | | of the A. | | |E - Jump off a quarterpipe in the pool | | | area onto a totem. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Melon Grab over the Blade |This is a short and sweet goal. All you | | |have to do is turn around from the | |Vert Skaters |start. Transfer from one quarterpipe to | | |another while doing a melon. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Nosegrind around the horn |This is a short goal. All you have to do| | |is turn around and head into the blue | |Street Skaters |water. Then look for the grind around | | |the wood. Make sure do a nosegrind | | |(up+Triangle). | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Secret Tape |Head backward and fall into the blue | | |water. Then grind the log ahead. Do this| |(All characters) |one more time. Grind the control on the | | |left. Head up the halfpipes, and ollie | | |the break. Grind the tracks to the tape.| |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Get Chuch Unstuck |From the start, head left. Over the | | |fence is Chuck. Just run into him and | |(All characters) |make him run around like a mad man. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Bury the Bully |This is a very simple mission as well. | | |Turn around from the start. You have to | |(All characters) |use the right quarterpipe, and ollie | | |over it. This will cause you to hit the | | |snowy tree. It is pretty obvious that | | |this will bury the bully. Nice job | | |buddy. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Impress the skaters |There are five skaters. First grind on | | |the fence in the beginning to impress | |(All characters) |the first skater. The other four are | | |scattered around the pool area. You have| | |to gain more than 2,500 points. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.3 Rio |SRRO ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to your first competition in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. You will be competing against the other skaters in the game. You will be placed in a park full of ramps, boxes, quarterpipes, halfpipes, and grinds. Your goal is to land as many tricks with the maximum amount of points so that you can place in the top 3, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. You will have three total runs, and your final score will be calculated by averaging your top two scores. For an example, look below. Let's say you were Tony Hawk, and you got the following scores: Tony Hawk 90.4 92.4 76.8 Your final score will be 90.4 + 92.4 = 182.8/2 = 91.4 So, 91.4 is your final score. Now, to get to the level, you will want to do as many tricks as possible. Try to vary them, and land as many as possible because bailing will decrease points on your final score. From the start, head to the left near a bench grind. The best way to beat this competition is to grind the peripheral portion of the level. You will have to use manuals in some cases, but that shouldn't effect you as much. I would make your stats high in manual and grinding balance so that it makes your life and player better for this competition. Sooner of later you will get Gold, Silver, and Bronze. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.4 Suburbia |SRSB ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ____ _______________ |Goal| |How to/Location| +------------------------------------+----------------------------------------+ |High Score: 55,000 Points |I got the high score simply by going | | |down the beginning slope, and heading to| |(All characters) |the left. There should be a halfpipe. | | |Just try to do 720 spins with reverts. | |Suburbia THPS3 |This will easily beat these scores. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Pro Score: 110,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Sick Score: 200,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Head forward to a ramp and go off of| | | it to get the S. | |Hawk, Glifberg, Margera, Reynolds, |K - Go forward and jump off the ramp | |Thomas | ahead. Then head left and up the | | | slope. The K is at the top. | |(Make sure you look at your |A - On top of the trailer. | |character name.) |T - On the rope that is near the mansion| | | by the halfpipe. | | |E - On the quarterpipe that is under | | | construction. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Floating above a ramp near the fire | | | engine. | |Muska, Lasek, Campbell, Steamer |K - On the wall that is behind the | | | normal house. | | |A - On top of the red tailer. | |(Make sure you look at your |T - By the mansion, grind from the | |character name.) | halfpipe to the quarterpipe. | | |E - A ramp right next to the mansion. It| | | is near some trees. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - On the clothing line next to the | | | trailers. | |Koston, Mullen, Caballero, Rowley |K - Head to the left and to the back of | | | the trailer area is the K. | | | | | |A - Above the car in the driveway. | | | | | |T - On a quarterpipe after jumping | | | forward from the beginning. | | |E - Above the roof of the normal house. | | | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Nosegrab between the ramps |Head to the trailer park area. You have | | |to transfer from the halfpipe to the | |Vert Skaters |quarterpipe. Right before you land on | | |halfpipe, press (up+O). | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Heelflip the trailer top |Head to the trailer park area. Near the | | |back of the area is a light skylike blue| |Street Skaters |trailer. Jump off of the quarterpipe | | |behind the trailer, and ollie and | | |heelflip (right+Square) the trailer. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Secret Tape |Head into the mansion and transfer the | | |quarterpipe. Then head into the middle | |(All characters) |of the area. Jump through the house, and| | |grind the trees. The secret tape is on | | |the branch. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Help the thin man |Head to the construction workers. There | | |is an axe on a rail. Then head to the | |(All characters) |mansion. This will break the door. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Squash the 5 pumpkins |First head to the halfpipe near the | | |trailers to get the first pumpkin. Then | |(All characters) |head to the mansion and over to the | | |quarterpipe to get the second. Then, | | |head to the porch near the trailers to | | |get the third. The forth is on a quarter| | |pipe near the grill. The last one is by | | |the normal house on the ledge to the | | |right. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Restore the Power to the dish |Head to the grill, and go up the house. | | |Grind the wire that connects two houses.| |(All characters) |Then grind the second wire that leads | | |back to the house. This will eliminate | | |the blocking of power. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.5 Airport |SRAI ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ____ _______________ |Goal| |How to/Location| +------------------------------------+----------------------------------------+ |High Score: 75,000 Points |If you are pretty familiar with the | | |manual, you will easily be able to pass | |(All characters) |this score. From the start, head right | | |and grind. Then manual to the walkby. | |Airport THPS3 |Grind from rail to rail, and manual all | | |the way to the bottom. Do the same on | | |the next walkby. This should get you | | |close to 200-250 thousand points. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Pro Score: 150,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Sick Score: 300,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - On the light near the left side of | | | the level in the beginning. | |Hawk, Glifberg, Margera, Reynolds, |K - On a light right after the S, past | |Thomas | a same type of light. | | | | |(Make sure you look at your |A - The last escalator on the left, as | | | you go down. | |character name.) |T - On a small thin quarterpipe at the | | | right of the main area. | | |E - The large quarterpipe to the right | | | of the main area. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - In the bathroom to the left of the | | | beginning of the level. | |Muska, Lasek, Campbell, Steamer |K - In the women's bathroom to the right| | | after the first bathroom. | | |A - On the main high light above the | | | final escalator. | |(Make sure you look at your |T - In the large area of the airport, | |character name.) | head left onto the quarterpipe. | | |E - In the lower level, grind on some | | | boxes that are placed there. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - On the light after the first walkby.| | | | |Koston, Mullen, Caballero, Rowley |K - After the first walkby, grind on the| | | lights that follow. This leads to | | | the K. | | |A - As you pass the final escalator, it | | | is on the quarterpipe ahead. | | |T - Head to the left of the main place, | | | and grind the stairs leading down. | | |E - On the other stairs opposite the | | | last ones, the E is right by there. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Airwalk over an escalator |From the start, jump over the counter to| | |the right. Head into the conveyer belt. | |Vert Skaters |This leads outside, so head back in from| | |the other enterance. This is where you | | |need to be. There are two quarterpipes | | |with a blockage in the middle. Airwalk | | |from one quarterpipe to the other. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Crooked grind around the baggage |From the start, jump over the counter to| |claim |the right. Head into the conveyer belt. | |Street Skaters |This leads outside, so head back in from| | |the other enterance. This will lead to the | | |secret tape. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Visit 10 countries |Head to the central area of the airport.| | |At the two ends are red grinds with | |(All characters) |flags. Use grinds to break the flags. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Stop the Pickpockets |The first one is straight ahead, just | | |run into it. The second is on the other | |(All characters) |side of the escalators. The third and | | |the fourth are in the bathroom to the | | |right. The final pickpocketer is in the | | |large area. Head to the right near the | | |big quarterpipe. He is near some people.| | |Run him over to complete this goal. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Get the tickets to your skate |This goal is really easy. Just grind the| |buddies. |left counter in the beginning to pick up| |(All characters) |the tickets. Make it all the way to the | | |main area without falling, or you will | | |lose the tickets. They are on the left. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.6 Skater Island |SRAI ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to your second competition in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Skater Island is the definition of a "real" skate park. There are wooden ramps all over the place. My personal favorite portion of the level is the large halfpipe in the middle of the level. This is a good place to gain easy stat points, so if you are a bit low on stats, look at my stat point portion of this faq. To win, you should obtain close to 200,000 points. This is actually very easy if you are a vert type of player (not many grinds in this level). From the start, head forward and do a few tricks off the boxes ahead. Then turn into a small hole in the wall. This leads to the mega halfpipe! Use your insane abilities to do 720 grabs+revert+manual, and then repeat. This will get you close to 40,000 points per trick. Do about 5 of these tricks, and you have this competition out of the way! Now it is time to head to LA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.7 Los Angeles |SRLA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ____ _______________ |Goal| |How to/Location| +------------------------------------+----------------------------------------+ |High Score: 100,000 Points |From the start, grind the rail down the | | |stairs. Then head to the right and grind| |(All characters) |the rails to the circular pool. This is | | |the halfpipe that you want to use for | |Airport THPS3 |this level. Do your usual 720 grab and | | |flip tricks to a revert and then to a | | |manual. Try to fit in about three of | | |these combos to crush the goal score. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Pro Score: 190,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Sick Score: 400,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - From the start, head to the right to| | | find the S on a rail going up. | |Hawk, Glifberg, Margera, Reynolds, |K - Near the circular pool, there is a | |Thomas | halfpipe. The K can be received by | | | grinding the pool. | |(Make sure you look at your |A - Right on the curvy rail near the S | | | location. | |character name.) |T - On the purple building, you have to | | | ollie up to it and grind it. | | |E - Follow the rail after the T to a | | | small section in the wall with the E| |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - From the start, head to the right to| | | find the S on a rail going up. | |Muska, Lasek, Campbell, Steamer |K - Near the pool, the K is on the left | | | quarterpipe which needs transfer. | | |A - Near the steam with all the stairs. | |(Make sure you look at your |T - On the rail that heads to the middle| |character name.) | area to the stairs area. | | |E - Found in the middle area on top of | | | the yellow house. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Go to the left from the start and | | | grind the rail ahead. | |Koston, Mullen, Caballero, Rowley |K - Near the movies, grind and jump to | | | receive the mid-air K between the | | | small gap. | | |A - On the crane of the fire engine near| | | the back of the level. | | |T - On the quarterpipe that leans | | | against the car wash. | | |E - On the back quarterpipe behind the | | | carwash. Enter near the fire engine.| |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |One Foot Japan The Tower Poppin' |From the start, head to the right near | |Transfer |the fountain of water. Head to the right| |Vert Skaters |or left quarterpipe and do a one foot | | |japan right before you land the trick on| | |the other side of the quarterpipe. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Varial Kickflip The Tower Rails Gap |From the start, head near the fire | | |engine. Then go to the stairs area with | |Street Skaters |the lift. Grind on the rail, and land a | | |varial kickflip when you see the guy | | |with the camera. Good job if you got it.| |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Secret Tape |Head to the fire engine in the back of | | |the level. Transfer to the top halfpipe.| |(All characters) |Ollie over the gaps and to the end. Now | | |jump off of the wooden platform. This | | |will lead you to a pole with the tape. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Free Ballin' |Head to the central area of the city. | | |There are two big pink balls in the | |(All characters) |middle. Ollie onto them to win. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Start the Earthquake |You have to grind all 4 earthquake poles| | |to start the earthquake. The first one | |(All characters) |is directly in front of you. Head left | | |to the two grinds going down. Grind the | | |left one down. Head back and there will | | |be a rail to the right along the street.| | |The final rail is right around the | | |corner going up. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Block the car chase |Head to the same place that you got the | | |secret tape. There will be a car hanging| |(All characters) |off of the ledge. Grind the ledge to | | |knock the car off and stop the white van| | |from moving forward. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.8 Tokyo |SRTY ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to your third and final competition in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Tokyo is one of the more challenging competitions if you really have trouble beating the sick scores in previous levels. You will have to use the same kind of tactics to win. I started out grind the rail ahead and manual to the ledge on the right. Then head through the loop to gain 5,000-6,000 points. Head to the pool area in the back and start what gets you the points. Do your 720 grabs and flips to a revert to a manual. Repeat the about 3 times each trick to gain close to 70 thousand points. Do it 5 or so times to gain close to 300,000 points for this level. This should win the gold. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.9 Cruise Ship |SRCS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ____ _______________ |Goal| |How to/Location| +------------------------------------+----------------------------------------+ |High Score: 150,000 Points |This is one of my favorite goals. Head | | |to the large red structure in front. | |(All characters) |Grind on the small white pipe on the | | |right side. Head into the pool now and | |Airport THPS3 |use those tactics, and they really work | | |in this small area. Do those 720 grab & | | |flip tricks. This will get you plenty of| | |points. I got over a million before! | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Pro Score: 225,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Sick Score: 500,000 Points |Do the same as the high score, but get | | |some stat points to maximize your stats.| |(All characters) | | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Head right and grind the blue rail | | | across the pool area. | |Hawk, Glifberg, Margera, Reynolds, |K - In the back of the ship, go off of | |Thomas | the grind in the back to get the K. | |(Make sure you look at your |A - Floating above the gap near the | | | greenhouse on the lifeboats. | |character name.) |T - Past the awnings, grind the net to | | | get to the T, or you can ollie. | | |E - Where the fairy can be raised near | | | a grind. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Head back from the start and grind | | | the rail to get the S. | |Muska, Lasek, Campbell, Steamer |K - Right after the S is the K on the | | | rail going across. | | |A - Floating above the gap near the | | | greenhouse. |(Make sure you look at your |T - On one of the rails that are in the | |character name.) | greenhouse. | | |E - On the grind near the large cake. | | | It is to the left. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Collect S-K-A-T-E |S - Same as the secret tape. This leads to the E. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Invert the High Wires |From the start, head down to the lower | |Transfer |deck. Ollie up one of the large quarter | |Vert Skaters |pipes behind you. You should land on the| | |large wire, so invert that wire and then| | |land the trick. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Noseblunt Slide an Awning |Head near the striped awnings on the | | |lower deck. Use the grind that leads up | |Street Skaters |to an awning and do a noseblunt slide ( | | |triangle+up+up). This will complete the | | |goal. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Secret Tape |Turn around from the start. Go up the | | |quarterpipe and grind the wire to lead | |(All characters) |to the top of that large red structure. | | |The tape is floating above the left | | |quarterpipe. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Raise the Ferry |Head down from the start. Head back into| | |the museum and grind the back to break | |(All characters) |the support wires of the fan. | |------------------------------------+----------------------------------------| |Impress the Neversoft Girls |Get over 2,500 points to impress one. | | |The first one is to the left of the pool| |(All characters) |area.
