On the forums I saw so many people asking for the drop rates of the dungeons and for leveling guides, I figured I’d take some time and compile them myself. This guide is meant to be a post game guide and will be spoiler free. This guide is intended to help you level quickly to the point of being able to do the Everfall chambers as well as which chests to farm for various equipment sets. That being said the leveling guides will be up within a few days or so when I update this guide. ========================================================================== Version History [VRSN] ========================================================================== Version 0.75 (06/07/12) -Added all the Everfall chambers and their chest drops. Version 1.0 (06/08/12) -Added the farming guides. -Added the Chamber 7 Drops -Added an item list -Added a credits section Version 1.25 (06/08/12) -Added the character guides. -Adjusted the Margins so gamefaqs will actually accept it. Version 1.26 (6/11/12) -Made the title shorter to appease gamefaqs again. ========================================================================== Character Guides [CHGU] ========================================================================== The following section is all about the character guides. ========================================================================== Stat Guides [Stat] ========================================================================== This section was contributed by Valor Pheonix Stats are gained per level based on the class of the character at that level. Base stats are determined by starting class and class changing isn’t allowed until level 10. After that stat gains change until the character hits level 100, then the stat gains are reduced. Below is a brief analysis of the stats by class. Starting base stats plus stats from level 1 to 10. There are specific Job Point requirements for each Vocation Rank. These Job Points are earned by defeating monsters. Different monsters at various levels contribute points towards a total. It is unknown at this time exactly how many points are earned from monsters. However, in general, more technically difficult monsters (such as Drakes, Wyrms, Evil Eyes, Hydra) at higher levels give the most. High leveled Bandits and other Lesser Bosses (Chimera, Cyclops, Ogres etc) give a moderate amount. And basic enemies (Goblins, Wolves, low level Bandits) give the least. I am currently doing some playthroughs using the Basic Vocations to try and figure out the exact amounts for each monster. Now...on to the actual requirements for each Vocation. Every Vocation begins at Rank 1 and is unlocked by paying the required Discipline Point amount at an Inn under the "Change Vocation" option. All three Basic Vocations have the same Job Points requirements for each rank. Vocation Rank. This is the method I used. 1. First grab as many pilgrim charms as you can from Fornival or Madeline as well as at least 2 ferrystones, while your in town dismiss your additional pawns. 2. Then grab your portcrystal and head to greatwall. 3. Place your portcrystal in the greatwall encampment and rest until nightfall. 4. Take the road from the encampment west until you see a small earth bridge then head north until you encounter a wight. 5. Remove your main pawns weapon and use a pilgrim charm. 6. Spend the rest of the night killing every skeleton that spawns for about 1500x2 exp each and an insane amount of gold depending on how quickly you kill them. Don’t use more then 2 pilgrim charms in a single night or it’s a waste. 7. Spend your hard earned gold dcp and exp however and enjoy postgame. This works efficiently well past level 100. Post game Methods *SPOILER ALERT**SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT**SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT**SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT**SPOILER ALERT* ========================================================================== Hands Free Leveling [WANK] ========================================================================== 1. Recommended party is 3 sorcerrors with high end aoe spells such as hi bolide and hi maelstrom. 2. Aggro all the guards in the royal area of Gran Soren. 3. Hide on one of the walls near the cathedral. 4. Wait and collect your exp, gold, and dcp. 5. This method is very slow but great for leveling vocations without actually leveling up as much. Additional tips Oraku52389 suggests to bring one mage with healing spells as well as bringing a wakestone just in case either you get knocked down or a guard gets knocked up to your level. This will keep the method from backfiring. I also noticed that once you obtain the double jump ability or the levitate ability you can use it to jump off the high drop wall in near the cathedral so that you can change direction and hang from the wall well above the guards. The guards even if knocked to the ledge can’t get to you, and the guards below won’t be able to reach you. Since you’re in town you have infinite stamina. ========================================================================== Offline UR Dragon Farming [OUDF] ========================================================================== To do this efficiently I recommend either ranger, assassin (if you leveled with high strength) or magic archer. (If you leveled with high magic) I use magic archer myself. Your Augments will need to be roughly as follows to do this quick enough to make it valid and worthwhile. Bloodlust (+70% Str and Magic at night) Autonomy (+70% Str and Magic with no companions) +10% Main stat +20% Main Stat The last two are up to you. If you are an assassin/ranger you will need a large number of blast arrows depending on skill. Magic archer will instead use the hunter arrow skill. With this equipment I also recommend a large number of large mushrooms and potent healing items until you are comfortable with the fight. Simply stay at range and stay on the hills peppering the boss with your bow. Take your time and make sure to collect the parts the dragon drops for every 3 parts destroyed or the loot will begin to despawn. Use an exp booster right before the dragon dies to get at least 4 or more levels. Sell the loot rest again until night and hit him again. This method is great for money and exp but your vocations will not level up quickly. It also can directly hinder your stat allocation if you are worried about it and those three classes weren’t what you were aiming for stat wise. *END SPOILER**END SPOILER* *END SPOILER**END SPOILER* *END SPOILER**END SPOILER* *END SPOILER**END SPOILER* *END SPOILER**END SPOILER* *END SPOILER**END SPOILER* ========================================================================== Chest Farming [LOOT] ========================================================================== There are two easy ways to do this depending on how you want to do it. They both start the same way. 1. By killing everything in all the chambers of that floor so that nothing disturbs you. 2. Do not bring any pawns as they tend to make things difficult. 3. Open all the chests and grab any rares that do appear. At this point you have two options. Option one, simply walk through a door which will reset all opened (but not looted) chests. Option two, suggested by Legend3000 which I like better. Press start to open the menu then press select to quicksave in front of the group of chests. Whip out the godsbane and *use* it to then select retry. The chest will reset as long as it wasn’t looted. ========================================================================== Everfall Chambers [EFCH] ========================================================================== ========================================================================== #0 Chamber of Confusion [CHCO] ========================================================================== *****Warning this floor cannot be redone.***** Chest 1 = 100% Ferrystone Chest 2 = 4% Golden Talisman 6% Dragon Hide Bracers 4% Grisly Skull 4% Crimson Plate 4% Exotic High Boots 4% Ring of Pearl ========================================================================== #1 Chamber of Anxiety [CHAN] ========================================================================== Chest 1 = 5% Meloirean Plate 5% Steel Gauntlets 2% Dragon's Presence 2% Philosopher's Robe 2% Burnished Bracers ========================================================================== #2 Chamber of Absence [CHAB] ========================================================================== Chest 1 = 4% Martyr's Talisman 5% Stalwart Bow 2% Dragon's Pain 2% Crimson Sabatons 2% Lordly Cloak 2% Shadow Gauntlets Chest 2 = 6% Steel Sabatons 6% Noble Limbs 2% Sable Sentinel 2% Dragon Knight's Cloak 2% Ring of Amethyst Chest 3 = 5% Meloirean Armguard 5% Laurel Circlet 2% Sage's Hood 2% Dragonbeards 2% Grisly Bone Armor Chest 4 = 2% Ferrystone 6% Dragon Band 6% Ring of Sable 2% Red Dragon Scale 2% Shadow Gauntlets 2% Ring of Sapphire ========================================================================== #3 Chamber of Hesitation [CHHE] ========================================================================== Chest 1 = 4% Golden Ring 2% Platinum Ring Chest 2 = 5% Steel Sallet 5% Darkened Gloves 2% Dragon's Quickening 2% Twilight Manicae 2% Dignified Earring Chest 2 = 6% Sultry Cowl 2% Barbarian Chief's Helm 2% Fey Whisper 2% Dark Lorica 2% Ring of Ruby ========================================================================== #4 Chamber of Apprehension [CHAP] ========================================================================== No chests here.
