This a quick guide just to give a few tips or hints to help gain the
trophies/achievements on Prince of Persia for both PS3 and Xbox 360. I bought
this game and managed to get the platinum trophy within 3 days so as you can
see its not all that difficult to do.

NOTE - This guide does not have a full walkthrough of light seed locations.
I may add some of the more difficult ones at some point and perhaps go on to
add all of them but at present it will only have tips for finding them.

Trophy/Achievements Guide                                               [0002]
##############################################################################

Here is the list of trophies as they appear on the PS3. Underneath each one I 
will write a quick tip/hint that should make the trophy easier. As always, if
you see any major errors or mistakes then please let me know so i can change
it. Also let me know if you have any tips that you think are helpful and I
will add them (with your name obviously)

NOTE - it will be listed as follows: Name (Trophy/Gamerscore points) as this
the easiest way for me to lay it out.

Master (Platinum) - Unlock all trophies

Well not hard to explain just get all the trophies :D



Into the Storm (Bronze/10) - Enter the Canyon

Basically you have to start the game



Saved (Bronze/10) - Unlock Erika's saving ability

Part of the story again. You get this when she first saves you from falling



Wallrunner (Bronze/10) - Complete the Canyon

Story related. Just get to the end of the tutorial bit pretty much



Compass (Bronze/10) - Use the compass

As soon as youve set your first destination press Triangle



Heal the Land (Silver/30) - First Healing

Story related and an easy silver trophy (hooray)



Saviour of the City of Light (Gold/50) - Final Healing

Story related. Near the end of the game after beating the last corrupted



Now who's the Hunter? (Bronze/20) - Kill the hunter in his lair

Story. Just beat the hunter after healing the citadel. Easiest one I think.



Death of a Warrior King (Bronze/20) - Kill the Warrior in his fortress

Story. One of the more annoying bosses but still quite easy



Death of a Concubine (Bronze/20) - Kill the Concubine in her palace

Story.



Traitors End (Bronze/20) - Kill the Alchemist in his observatory

Story again.



From Darkness... Light! (Silver/30) - Reimprison Ahriman

Story. Just beat Ahriman when you go against him



Explorer (Bronze/20) - Explore every part of every region

You'll get this through the story too. I think its when you go to fight the
last corrupted you'll get this.



Block Master (Bronze/20) - Block 50 attacks

Should get this through normal play through but if you don't just go against a
boss and hold R1 or R2 until you've blocked 50 attacks.



Deflect Master (Bronze/20) - Deflect 20 attacks

Likely to get through first play through again as its the best way to beat
bosses. Hit R1/R2 just as an enemy attacks you and it will deflect the attack.
Do that 20 times to get the trophy



Sword Master (Bronze/20) - Perform 14 hits in one combo

Slightly annoying trophy to get. I recommend going against a boss at the start
of the game (preferably Hunter as he is very weak) and performing the
following combo:

PS3:
S = square T = Triangle X = X (duh) C = Circle

S-S-S-T-S-T-X-T-S-T-C-X-T-S

Xbox 360:

X-X-X-Y-X-Y-A-Y-X-Y-B-A-Y-X (Thanks again Ilxx Sonic xxlI for this)

Apart from that just hope he doesn't block. If you get his health too low to
perform the full combo just let him kill you to regain his health and try
again.



Be Gentle With Her (Gold/100) - Erkia saves you less that 100 times in the 
game

Should be able to do this with a little practise but probably not on the first
go. I recommend just taking your time and timing youre jumps properly. Make
you learn where you need to jump and co-op jump cus that can cause loads of
deaths. Make sure you know roughly where all the obsticles are while using the
breath of Ormazd and the Wings of Ormazd because i think they cause me the
most deaths out of anything. Also learn to block well while fighting.

TIP (thanks to gunbladewarrior7) - If you are trying to do this as well as 
collecting light seeds then a useful tip is to teleport to another area if you
fall just before you die. This obviosuly only appies if you are in an area 
that you have healed but still, very useful.



Improviser (Bronze/10) - Use the environment against an enemy

If you knock an enemy into a pillar or something like that then you will get
this trophy. I think you may get it while fighting the warrior at certain
points and there is fight with the concubine where you can knock her into a 
pillar too.



Up Against It (Bronze/10) - Win a wall mini-game in combat

Whenever either you or an enemy (boss) gets knocked against a wall then you
have to bash a square repeatedly to win the little fight that happens. 
If you win you get this trophy



Ruined Citadel Runner (Bronze/10) - Ron from the Sun Temples fertile ground to
fertile ground in Windmills in 5 minutes

Fairly easy trophy. Go for this after you have healed all of the fertile
grounds in this area so there is no corrupted on the wall or anything. Set
the compass to the windmills and teleport to sun temple and just follow the
path. If you don't die and keep moving you should get this no problem



Vale Runner (Bronze/20) - Run from the Fertile grounds in the Construction 
Yards and Heaven's Stair in 6 minutes

As above really just in a different place



Royal Palace Runner (Silver/30) - Run between fertile grounds in the Royal
Gardens and Coronation Halls in 4 minutes

Same as above. Not really sure why this is silver cus its just as easy



City of Light Runner (Silver/40) - Run between fertile grounds in the Tower of
Ahriman and City of Light in 7 minutes

As above again



Warrior Special (Bronze/20) - Dodge the Warriors attack 20 time in one battle

Dodge by pressing X and a direction. I recommend straffing to the right until
he attacks and then just hitting X to dodge under his big arm.



Hunter Special (Bronze/20) - Deflect 5 of the Hunters attacks

Easy really when you get the timing right. Just use this to go towards your
deflect master trophy.



Alchemist special (Bronze/20) - Defeat the Alchemist without using the 
Acrobatic attack

Just dont press X when you fight the alchemist one of the times. Can be
annoying as its a good way to make big combos but shouldnt pose too much
of a problem



Concubine Special (Bronze/20) - Defeat the Concubine without using grab

Don't press Circle whle fighting the Concubine. Best to do it in the earlier
ones so she doesn't change forms to the one where you can only use Circle.



Light seeds Finder (Bronze/10) - Find 100 Light seeds

There is a section that gives help on finding light seeds later on



Light seeds Collector (Bronze/10) - Find 200 Light Seeds

Light seeds Provider (Bronze/10) - Find 300 Light Seeds

Light seeds Locator (Bronze/10) - Find 400 Light Seeds

Light seeds Harvester (Bronze/10) - Find 500 Light Seeds

Light seeds Hoarder (Bronze/10) - Find 600 Light Seeds

Light seeds Gatherer (Bronze/10) - Find 700 Light seeds

Light seeds Accumulator (Bronze/10) - Find 800 Light Seeds

Light seeds Protector (Bronze/10) - Find 900 Light Seeds

Light seeds Master (Silver/50) - Find 1001 Light Seeds



Speed Kill (Bronze/10) - KIll 10 generic enemies before they spawn

When you hear an enemy spawning rush towards where it is. In most cases as
long as you don't fall while on theway youll get there beforeit has spawned.
If you do press Square and you will kill the enemy before it spawns. Do this
10 times for the trophy.



Throw Master (Bronze/10) - Throw 10 Soldiers of Ahriman into pits

When fighting a normal enemy if you knock it towards a cliff or ledge you
will perform an instant kill technique. Do this 10 times for the trophy.
This does not include wall instant kills



Assasin View (Bronze/10) - Find the Assasin View

This is on the stairs that wind around the Martyrs Tower. You will see a ledge
sticking out over the side. Stand on it to get the trophy.



Titanic view (Bronze/10) - Find the Titanic view

After you have healed the machinary grounds there is a ledge righti n front of
you. Stand on this for the titanic view.



In Harmony (Bronze/10) - 500 Co-op jumps

Easy enough just perform 500 co-op jumps. This is when you jump and press
Triangle making Erika throw you further. To get it a bit faster use it all the
time on normal jumps as long as you dont over extend and jump off the other
side. I also used it everytime i missed a jump. If you are going to die anyway
may aswell jump a little further and work towards a trophy.



Precious Time (Bronze/10) - Take One Minute to Think

After you beat Ahriman you will be holding Erika. Just dont press anything for
one minute and you get the trophy



Wheres that Temple? (Bronze/10) - Talk to Erika

Just press L1/L2 as soon as you can



Getting to know you (Bronze/10) - Get to know Erika by Talking to her

Just keep talking to Erika until you get the trophy. Not sure of the exact
amount of times you need to speak but its not really that many



Good Company (Bronze/10) - Learn about the world and Erika's History

Keep talking to Erika to get it



Climbing to New Heights (Bronze/10) - Find the heighest point in the game

You get this when you fight the Alchemist or the last time



Sinking to New Depths (Bronze/10) - Find the Lowest point in the game

when running towards the temple at the start of the game keep going past
the stairs that Elika runs up instead of following her. On the side of the
temple there will be a gap you can drop down to get the trophy. You can get
it at any point in the game.



Speed Demon (Bronze/10) - Complete the game in under 12 hours

Should be easy after you know the map well enough to speed through. The only
advice i can really give here is to collect as many light seeds as you can to
get to 540 so you dont have to do it later. After that don't bother to get 
anymore as it will just waste time. Dont go for 1001 light seeds along with
this becausei highly doubt its even possible. I also recomend killing a
corrupted as early as possible to get that extra 25 light seeds which will
save some time.

Complete the game



Combo Specialist (Bronze/50) - Find every combo in the game

This trophy is by far one of the most annoying to get. I will provide the full
list of combos later on for now ill just give some tips. Firstly the combo
will not count if the enemy blocks part of it. Nor will it count if the enemy
dies during the combo. Nor will it count if the enemy hits the wall or falls
off a ledge. You also only receive the trophy after the enemy is killed (I
think). I would not recommend doing the combos on bosses as they block too
often and are also very likely to die before you manage to finish all the
combos. Instead find a weak normal enemy towards the start of the game and
perform the combos on him. This is better because they block far less often,
they can repsawn if they die so you can keep going and if they get close to
dying you can let them kill you and they go back to full health allowing you
to keep going. I also recommend writing the list down so you can cross odd
the ones you have done. I personally put the list onto word so i could delete
the ones i had done. Dont cross off any that you are unsure of. If there is
any doubt that you did not complete the combo do it again trust me i know
first hand what its like to have missed one combo and have to go over the
entire list again. It is not fun.

Light Seeds Tips                                                        [0003]
##############################################################################


This section of the game is very, very tedious and it can take up to a day of
playing to find all the seeds. The best way to go about finding all the seeds
is to basically just looks everywhere. No more can be said really because that
is what it comes down to. The best order to do it in, i find, is to start with
all the seeds that are easy to get to from where you start at the fertile
grounds. Then after getting those teleport to the areas around where you are
and follow the path back to where you were. This means that you can easily
follow the path back which normally has quite a lot of seeds.

When it comes down to finding the last few "hard to find" seeds the best thing
to do is find a very high bit of land that overlooks the area that you are
searching. Then just pan the camera around slowly while keeping your eyes open
for any stray seeds. If this doesnt work then it also helps to go to a very 
low part of the land and look up as a lot of seeds can be found underneath
platforms.

Make sure to search around the edge of every platform that you can go on. Not
only are some seeds around the edges but you may also occassionally notice
hoops or vines that you didnt see before and these normally lead towards light
seeds.

If you see a light seed but dont know how to get towards it just follow the
path that leads to it backwards. This should lead to you finding where you can
begin going towards it. If there is no clear path then it may be the case that
you need to use some form of power plate to get towards it, in that case seach
nearby for a plate that you havent used yet.

Lastly, dont be afraid to jump to your death in order to get a light seed. On
many occassions I have tried to find a way to get certain seeds but couldnt 
see a clear way to do this so I sometimes found it easier to just jump at it
and hope for the best.
