This FAQ was created at the last moment before updating my main campaign walkthrough. I originally planned for all of this to be included in my campaign guide, but decided to make a separate FAQ for the mode since it is quite fun and there are many tips that I can offer a player for the mode. The main reason behind this guide was originally to list out the moves for each creature, but as I played the stages, I found a few techniques that can help out for each stage. Agent Hunt mode allows a player to take control of one of the many creatures in the campaign mode of Resident Evil 6. Players can control one of many creatures and attack the other players that control the main RE characters (agents) in the stage. Players that join sessions through Agent Hunt mode are actually taking control of creatures in another player's campaign, so... it's like you are joining a session for the sole purpose of trolling another player. It's like going on an RE message board and starting a topic about how the RE series would be better if it still had pre-rendered backgrounds - just like that situation, you are making it difficult for other players to enjoy the game the way it is, much like Agent Hunt mode when you join another player's campaign to kill them off as a creature - you are trolling them. That was all a joke, by the way. Anyway, please enjoy the guide and let me know if there is anything you would like me to add and/or feel free to send comments if you have the time. - - - - - - - - - - - - - M O T I V A T E M E - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If you find this walkthrough helpful, give me a recommend by clicking the middle link on the blue bar above this guide on GameFAQs and/or give me a subscription on youtube! Creature players can be killed several times by the agents, but the creature players will constantly respawn. If a creature player can knock an agent into dying statue then kill that agent, the creature team will win. If the agent players successfully complete their main objective in the current area then the creature team's hunt will result in failure. The mode is unlocked after finishing one campaign (any character) in the main game of Resident Evil 6. =================== ABOUT THE CREATURES =================== Creatures will always start out in one of the spawn points located in the surrounding area of the campaign chapter that is chosen. Stages have around 1- 3 spawn points that a player can choose from when spawning. By moving near obstacles such as crates or ledges, you will likely get a climb or drop-off command. No matter where your creature is in a stage, there is always some way to get close to the agent. Creatures are chosen randomly, so you never truly know what you might get to play as. Each stage has a certain range of creatures that a player can control however. Zombies can mutate into Bloodshots and J'avo have all sorts of mutations that can occur. J'avo can form Chrysalids upon death that can hatch into a Strelats or a Napad. Each creature has a certain amount of health and stamina just like the agents. A creature uses stamina during certain attacks or sometimes from movement. A creature's health and stamina is displayed in a HUD (Heads up Display) in the lower right hand corner of the screen. The HUD is displayed in purple with white circles on the top and bottom that represent the creature's health and stamina respectively. ============================= RESTARTING IN AGENT HUNT MODE ============================= If at any time your creature is stuck in an area and cannot make it to the agents, press the Select/Back button then choose to "Die and Respawn" (top option on the right) and then choose "Yes" when asked if you would like to respawn. This will help a player that is stuck in an area. This option can also be used to spawn as a different creature type. ======================== ENABLING AGENT HUNT MODE ======================== When playing any of the three main campaigns of Resident Evil 6 (Chris, Jake and Leon) a player will have a choice of "AGENT HUNT SETTINGS" on the system settings menu when starting each game for the first time. Setting this option to "ALLOW" will allow players that play Agent Hunt mode to enter your campaign as a creature. Selecting "DON'T ALLOW" means that a player cannot controls one of the creatures in your campaign. When a creature player joins your campaign, you will not be able to tell which creature the player controls. The creature player's current dog tag will be displayed on the upper right hand portion of the screen when that player joins. NOTE: While Agent Hunt mode is enabled in campaign, agent players will often get more enemies than usual. In some areas, the enemies will continually respawn. In other areas, the only enemy that will respawn will be the creature players if one is in the area. ==================== WHY PLAY AGENT HUNT? ==================== -- CREATURE PLAYER A creature player can gain one of the many medals that can only be gained through Resident Evil 6's Agent Hunt mode. -- AGENT PLAYER Creature players that are defeated by agent players in campaign mode have a possibility of dropping a First Aid Spray. The drop will randomly occur, but a creature player will only leave behind this item if any item drops are given to the winning agent. Agents can literally camp in some areas of a map and allow creature players to come to them and then kill off the creature player to get extra first aid sprays. ============================================== POSSIBLE CAMPAIGN CHAPTERS FOR AGENT HUNT MODE ============================================== This is a list of possible campaigns that a player that plays Agent Hunt mode can randomly join from the Agent Hunt mode menu. A creature player gets to control one of many creatures depending on the stage that is joined. -- LEON CAMPAIGN o Leon Chapter 1 - Gun Shop Creatures: Zombie, Bloodshot o Leon Chapter 2 - Forest Cemetery Creatures: Zombie, Zombie Dog, Bloodshot, Shrieker o Leon Chapter 3 - Cavern Creatures: Zombie, Bloodshot, Shrieker o Leon Chapter 4 - Market Creatures: Rasklapanje -- CHRIS CAMPAIGN o Chris Chapter 3 - Stilt Housing Area Creatures: J'avo, Napad o Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar Creatures: Neo-Umbrella J'avo, Napad o Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Forward Hangar Creatures: Rasklapanje o Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility Creatures: Neo-Umbrella J'avo, Gnezdo -- JAKE CAMPAIGN o Jake Chapter 2 - Mountain Path Creatures: Mesets o Jake Chapter 3 - Research Facility - Living Quarters Creatures: J'avo, Strelats o Jake Chapter 4 - Shopping District Creatures: J'avo, Strelats o Jake Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility Creatures: Rasklapanje ================= AGENT HUNT SKILLS ================= Agent Hunt mode has four skills that can be purchased and used while joining a game. The "Skill Select" option under the first menu of Agent Hunt mode allows a player to buy, upgrade and equip skills. Only one skill can be equipped per Agent Hunt session. Skills are bought with skill points that have been obtained from other modes of Resident Evil 6. -- Creature Offense .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | Level | Skill Point Cost | Details | |=============================================================================| | 01 | 5000 | Increases attack power by 10% | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 02 | 15000 | Increases attack power by 20% | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 03 | 60000 | Increases attack power by 30% | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' -- Creature Defense .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | Level | Skill Point Cost | Details | |=============================================================================| | 01 | 5000 | Increases defense by 10% | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 02 | 15000 | Increases defense by 20% | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 03 | 60000 | Increases defense by 30% | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' -- Creature Health .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | Level | Skill Point Cost | Details | |=============================================================================| | 01 | 5000 | Increases health by 20% | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 02 | 15000 | Increases health by 50% | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 03 | 60000 | Increases health by 100% | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' -- Creature Stamina .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | Level | Skill Point Cost | Details | |=============================================================================| | 01 | 5000 | Increases combat gauge by 6 blocks | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 02 | 15000 | Increases combat gauge by 7 blocks | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 03 | 60000 | Increases combat gauge by 10 blocks | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' The best skill to use is often Creature Offense, but with J'avo mutations that form from Chrysalids, having a better defense or health meter can help out a bunch. Chryalids will form after a J'avo dies, so the J'avo mutation will almost always receive damage right as it hatches. With a better defense or more health, a J'avo mutation might be able to overpower the aggressive agent before the agent spams the J'avo mutation with gunfire. ========== DIFFICULTY ========== Along with choosing skills, a player can choose to play on a higher difficulty than normal or amateur difficulty under the "Matching" option on the main menu under Agent Hunt mode. Selecting "Veteran or Higher" will allow a player to join a Veteran or Professional game or not at all. When choosing the default "Any" option, a player will join any difficulty that is available (Amateur, Normal, Veteran or Professional). Creature health, defense, stamina and attack power differs depending on the mode that is chosen. Like the other enemies in the mode, your creature will be more powerful on Professional when compared to lower difficulties. ====================================== WORKING AS A TEAM WITH OTHER CREATURES ====================================== One of the main keys to success in hitting an agent and eventually killing the agent is to attack the agent when other creatures attack. Overwhelm the agent! Hit the agent from off-screen. This is your chance to perform all of those annoying cheap tactics that the enemy AI has done to your RE characters over the years. Whenever Agent Hunt is played, there is often another player that is controlling a creature alongside your creature. Both Agent Hunt creature players can identify each other by holding down on the X/B button. This will make a blue indicator appear over the other creature player. ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ \_/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \_/ / \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \ S E C T I O N III [CR00] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ ___ | | ___ | | ___ | | ___ | | ___ | | ___ | | ___ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ | | ___ | | ___ | C R E A T U R E S | ___ | | ___ | | \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ | | | | | | | | | | | | \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - _____________________________ _________________________________________________/ J ' A V O C R E A T U R E S ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [CR01] ======================== J'avo/Neo-Umbrella J'avo ======================== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 800 health Mutate From: N/A Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 3 - Stilt Housing Area (J'avo) Jake Chapter 3 - Research Facility - Living Quarters Jake Chapter 4 - Shopping District Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar (Neo-Umbrella) Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility A J'avo is really not too big of a threat on its own since it is so predictable. In stages where J'avo can group on an agent, a J'avo is much more deadly however. All J'avo can mutate based on where they are damaged, and they can even form Chrysalids on some stages that will hatch into a Napad. J'avo mutations can help out a player a great deal. Some mutations are way too slow or limited to do much of anything though. It's best to attack when an agent is dealing with a group of several J'avo. Going up against an agent that has already seen your J'avo and is facing your J'avo is basically a death wish. A Chrysalid mutation isn't all that helpful since all an agent has to do is stand by the Chrysalid and spam the mutation with gunfire the moment it spawns. If the agent leaves the Chrysalid, you'll have a much better chance at attacking the agent later. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Taunt | Start | Recovers 100 | | | | stamina per second| |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Side Step Left | L2/LB | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Side Step Right | R2/RB | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Roll | L2+R2/LB+RB | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Crouch/Take Cover | L1+X/LT+A | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Slash | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dashing Attack | Left thumbstick + R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Guard | L1/LT | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Guard Attack | L1+R1/LT+RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Stab Rush (J'avo) | R1/RT (on grounded Agent) | 0 Stamina | | Kick (Neo-Umbrella) | R1/RT (on grounded Agent) | 0 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ========== Glava-Sluz ========== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 1200 health Mutate From: J'avo and Neo-Umbrella J'avo Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 3 - Stilt Housing Area Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility Jake Chapter 3 - Research Facility - Living Quarters Jake Chapter 4 - Shopping District The Glava-Sluz is the insect head J'avo mutation that can spit out a sticky webbing. This J'avo mutation can be good for trapping an agent that is in a crowd of J'avo. The Glava-Sluz's spit attack is its only other option for attacking, which is extremely slow. The J'avo mutation basically requires groups. By itself, the Glava-Sluz is really nothing. It has a bunch of delay for every one of its attacks. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 50 stamina per | | | | second | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Taunt | Start | Recovers 100 | | | | stamina per second| |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Spit | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Spit Webbing | L1/LT | 200 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' =========== Glava-Smech =========== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 1200 health Mutate From: Neo-Umbrella J'avo Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility The Glava-Smech mutation is when a J'avo is shot in the head and forms pincher appendages on its upper half. The Glava-Smech is one of the worst mutations a player can get since it is so limited. A Glava-Smech only has one attack, which it has to charge. It's close range bite attack can clamp down on an agent and then hold the agent up to where the agent must enter a button press quickly as the timed QTE gauge appears. Catching an agent with this attack is quite hard though. Your best to catch an agent is to wait for them to perform a melee then charge the attack so it grabs the agent as the melee animation stops. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 50 stamina per | | | | second | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Taunt | Start | Recovers 100 | | | | stamina per second| |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Bite | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ======== Ruka-SRP ======== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 1200 health Mutate From: J'avo and Neo-Umbrella J'avo Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 3 - Stilt Housing Area Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility Jake Chapter 3 - Research Facility - Living Quarters Jake Chapter 4 - Shopping District Ruka-SRP is when a J'avo forms a blade with it's damaged arm. This J'avo is best used with complete aggression. The Ruka-SRP's attacks are hard to stop from close range, so basically rush the agent and try to hit them when you get this J'avo mutation. Its attacks are not too slow and they definitely take priority over most agent melees. You've just got to watch for the sudden agent quick shot. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 50 stamina per | | | | second | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Backward Dodge | L2/LB | 50 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Forward Dodge | R2/RB | 50 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Guard | Start | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Horizontal Slash | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Crouching Attack | L1/LT | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ============== Ruka-Khvatanje ============== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 1200 health Mutate From: J'avo and Neo-Umbrella J'avo Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 3 - Stilt Housing Area Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility Jake Chapter 3 - Research Facility - Living Quarters Jake Chapter 4 - Shopping District Ruka-Khvatanje is the insect arm mutation that allows a player to grab an agent from long range. This is definitely one of the better mutations, especially when an agent is dealing with several enemies at once. Stay at long range and try to grab an agent with the stretching arm attack (L1/LT) while the agent is occupied with other J'avo. This attack can easily catch an agent off guard from off-screen. Just like with any other J'avo, when fighting an agent solo with a Ruka- Khvatanje, you really stand little of a chance against the agent. Its long- range grab requires a slight charge, but it's extremely deadly when the agent is unaware of your presence. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk/Run | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 50 stamina per | | | | second | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Side-step Left | L2/LB | 50 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Side-step Right | R2/RB | 50 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Backstep | Start | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Punch | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Stretch Attack | L1/LT | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ========== Ruka-Bedem ========== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 1200 health Mutate From: Neo-Umbrella J'avo Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility A Ruka-Bedem is when a J'avo forms a hard shield arm when its arm is damaged. This J'avo can be very aggressive in close range and it can block against light gunfire. A Ruka-Bedem is best used by attacking with its dash attack. The attack is fast and will catch an agent off guard easily. Like with other J'avo, always wait for an agent to be occupied with other enemies then sneak in and attack the agent with the dash attack. A Ruka-Bedem has some hefty recovery time with each attack, so make sure that the attack hits. A Ruka-Bedem can be easily killed off by a close range agent or any agent that can get behind this J'avo mutation. A Ruka-Bedem cannot guard against melee and a quick shot will stagger it. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 100 stamina per | | | | second | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Guard | Start | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Slam | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash Attack | L1/LT | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' =============== Telo-Eksplozija =============== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 1200 health Mutate From: Neo-Umbrella J'avo Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility Telo-Eksplozija is when a J'avo's upper half forms into a cocoon. This J'avo mutation's only attack is to explode, so it sacrifices itself for damaging an agent. If an agent sees your Telo-Eksplozija and hits it with a gunshot in the legs, the creature will fall and explode in a few seconds. Your best bet for damaging an agent is to surprise the agent from behind while the agent is attacking other enemies then explode without the agent seeing your J'avo mutation. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 100 stamina per | | | | second | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Feint | Start | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Explode | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ====== Gnezdo ====== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 2000 health Mutate From: N/A Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility Gnezdo is a compilation of flying bugs that forms a female figure when it walks. Its main weak point is the big bug that appears when an agent shoots it. This J'avo mutation will hatch out of a Chrysalid. Sadly, it only appears in Chris' chapter 5 in Agent Hunt mode. The Gnezdo is a great creature to attack with. Once you have control of the Gnezdo, start releasing decoys with the L2/lB or R2/RB buttons to make agents shoot at the fake image of bugs then try to get close to them and perform the Gnezdo's grab attack from close range. The insect swarm is really best used at a distance since this gives away the true image of the Gnezdo. Once an agent sees a bug image fire an insect swarm his way, that means he has seen the true Gnezdo and can fire on it. Acid rounds will kill a Gnezdo quickly. If the agent uses acid rounds on your Gnezdo, your creature will not last long. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Stance | L1/LT | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Fake Attack | Start | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Release Decoy | L2/LB or R2/RB | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Grab Attack | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Insect Swarm | RT+LT/R1+L1 | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ===== Napad ===== Stamina Recovery: 50 per second Starting Health: 5000 health Mutate From: J'avo and Neo-Umbrella J'avo (Chrysalid) Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 3 - Stilt Housing Area Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar A Napad is a heavily armored J'avo mutation that forms from a Chrysalid. A J'avo must form a Chrysalid in order to spawn this creature. One of the main problems with this creature is that it will likely hatch right in front of the agent, so the agent will see your Napad as soon as it spawns. If an agent leaves the Chrysalid, then you have a better chance of hitting the agent later with a surprise attack. If the agent stays near the hatching Chrysalid, then you can't do much but try to hit the agent through their gunfire spamming, which will likely fail on your end. A Napad has some decent attacks, but the majority of them are very slow. All of a Napad's punch attacks are often too slow to hit an agent. Your best bet to hit an agent with a Napad is to use its charge attack. Sadly, its charge can be countered however. Hold down the L1/LT button to charge then press the R1/RT button to run forward with a ram. The R1/RT punch can be good for hitting an agent that is occupied with attacking your Napad at times. It's best to stick to the air when controlling a Mesets. It's ground attacks leave it to open to gunfire. Both of its ground attacks are very slow and have major recovery. When flying, a Mesets player can perform a diving grab by pressing the R1/RT button. This attack will auto-target an agent that is below the Mesets. The agent can break out of the grab with a QTE thumbstick shaking sequence, but it takes some good damage. Attacking the agent from the air is really your best bet with a Mesets. On the ground, the Mesets can be easily taken advantage of with how slow it moves. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Fly | Left thumbstick + X/A | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Taunt | Start | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Beak Attack | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash Attack | L1/LT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Flying Grab | R1/RT (during flight) | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ======== Strelats ======== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 3000 health Mutate From: J'avo (Chrysalid) Chapter Locations: Jake Chapter 3 - Research Facility - Living Quarters Jake Chapter 4 - Shopping District The Strelats is the lizard J'avo mutation that hatches from a Chrysalid. This is easily the best common J'avo mutation that you can get. The best part about the Strelats is its close range gas and extreme agility. The gas attack is great for hitting agents that stand right by the Chrysalid as this mutation hatches. The gas can stun agents and damage them then the Strelats player can run off and fire needle shots from a distance. A Strelats if easily one of the best J'avo mutations in Agent Hunt mode if you know the controls for it. This thing can run circles around agents. The main flaw is its delay before each attack. A Strelats' needle attack has a warning that an agent can easily see coming. No matter how obvious the attack might be, it doesn't matter when other J'avo are in the area to occupy the agent. A Strelats player can be a major force to be reckoned with along with a crowd of J'avo. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 100 stamina per | | | | second | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Play Dead (Face Up) | L2/LB | Recovers 100 | | | | stamina per second| |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Play Dead (Face Down) | R2/RB | Recovers 100 | | | | stamina per second| |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Release Gas | Start | 50 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Spit Poison | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Enter Stance | L1/LT | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Shoot Needle | L1+R1/LT+RT | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' _______________________________ _______________________________________________/ Z O M B I E C R E A T U R E S ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [CR02] ======= Zombies ======= --> ATTRIBUTES: Stamina Recovery: 100 per second (standing) 150 per second (crawling) Starting Health: 600-1500 health Mutate From: N/A Chapter Locations: Leon Chapter 1 - Gun Shop Leon Chapter 2 - Forest Cemetery Leon Chapter 3 - Cavern Zombies are extremely slow and their attacks have some extremely slow startup animations. It's best to attack from off-screen as much as possible when playing as a zombie. Allowing an agent to see your zombie is a bad idea since a zombie is so easily killed with a gun. Unlike in other RE games, zombies in RE6 can dash (fast shuffle), so a player can move through an area quickly as a zombie. Since remaining concealed from the agent can be such a big issue, it's really best to crawl most of the time when in close range to an agent. An agent has less of a chance of seeing a crawling zombie rather than a standing zombie. The only main flaw with crawling is that it sets your zombie up for a critical head stomp if the agent can melee attack your zombie from up close. Armed zombies have the same slow attacks as normal zombies, but they can throw their weapons. Tossing a weapon is a great long-range attack for when other enemies pile up on an agent and your zombie is in the background. Once a zombie has thrown its weapon, the player will be controlling an unarmed zombie afterwards - the weapon cannot be retrieved. Once a weapon is thrown, try to stick to crawling when an agent is near. Spitting zombies are much like normal zombies only they have a long range spit. Their spit is a great long-range attack that can be used to target distant agents. The main problem with the spit is that it reveals your location. Don't stay in one area for too long and continuously spit or your zombie will get shot at sooner or later. A spitting zombie can crawl and spit while it lies on the ground - this can be a good strategy. --> ATTACKS: -- UNARMED ZOMBIE Chapter Locations: Leon Chapter 1 - Gun Shop Leon Chapter 2 - Forest Cemetery Leon Chapter 3 - Cavern A Bloodshot is a skinless zombie that is more durable and aggressive than the standard zombie. Players might start with this creature or the zombie that is controlled might mutate into a Bloodshot depending on the stage that is being played on. Even thought a Bloodshot has some great attacks for damaging players, it is also a very predictable creature when an agent player is facing it. A Bloodshot is SO easy to counter when an agent can see the attack coming beforehand. If an agent counters any of your Bloodshot's attacks, the battle is basically decided in the agent's favor. Since a Bloodshot's attacks are so easy to see coming, it is best to try to attack the agent players off-screen when their back is turned. Wait for an agent to get occupied with other creatures then rush at the agent and grab the agent or uppercut the agent from behind. A missed grab and a missed uppercut both take a while to recover from, so make that attack count. -- STANDING BLOODSHOT .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Side-step Left | L2/LB | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Side-step Right | R2/RB | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Taunt (Backstep) | Start | Recover 100 | | | | stamina per second| |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Enter/Exit Crawling | L2+R2/LB+RB | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Uppercut | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Diving Grab | L1/LT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Grab Fallen Agent | R1/RT (near face-down agent)| 0 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' -- CRAWLING BLOODSHOT .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Crawl | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Crawl Fast | Left thumbstick + X/A | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Turn Left | L2/LB | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Turn Right | R2/RB | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Enter/Exit Standing | L2+R2/LB+RB | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Punch | R1/RT | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Grab | L1/LT | 0 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ========== Zombie Dog ========== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 500-1000 health Mutate From: N/A Chapter Locations: Leon Chapter 1 - Gun Shop Leon Chapter 2 - Forest Cemetery The zombie dog is easily one of the fastest of any of the available creatures. The zombie dog is overall weak, but it sure can move. Your main attack is to jump and grab an agent. The attack can be fought off by the agent through a QTE thumbstick shaking sequence and the agent most likely will throw off the dog, but this attack takes off some heavy damage. The diving tackle can be countered if the agent sees the attack coming and a counter is an instant kill against a zombie dog, so attack from off-screen. Dogs have an extremely fast diving tackle and most players are use to a pattern of how a dog will suddenly run straight toward an agent then instantly attack, so NEVER do this. If anything, toy with the agent by running by them without attacking then attack later. Don't EVER simply run straight toward an agent that is facing your zombie dog and attack or you're just asking to be countered and killed. A zombie dog has many ways to turn its body to face a new direction while dashing. Be sure to take note of the commands for turning labeled below since a dog cannot turn as fast while standing still compared to when it dashes. The dog is the only creature to have two methods to regain stamina. Both methods take about the same amount of time. It's really best to use the normal taunt (sniffing) since the bark will likely make an agent notice your zombie dog. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 10 stamina per | | | | second | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Side-step Left | L2/LB | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Side-step Right | R2/RB | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Turn Left | L2/LB (while dashing) | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Turn Right | R2/RB (while dashing) | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 180 degree turn | L2+R2/LB+RB (while dashing) | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Taunt | Start | Recover 200 | | | | stamina per second| |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Bark | Square/X | Recover 200 | | | | stamina per second| |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Diving Grab | R1/RT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Diving Grab | L1/LT | 100 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Grab Fallen Agent | R1/RT (near face-down agent)| 0 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' ======== Shrieker ======== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 5000 health Mutate From: N/A Chapter Locations: Leon Chapter 1 - Gun Shop Leon Chapter 2 - Forest Cemetery The Shrieker can be a very good creature to control when a crowd of zombies and other creatures stand around an agent. The Shrieker can lure more zombies toward a certain area or make the current zombies more aggressive through its screams. In order to scream, a Shrieker player must charge a scream with the Square/X button. Once the red portion of the Shrieker's chest is fully expanded, press the R1/RT button to release the scream. When charging a scream, tap the Square/X button while facing away from an agent. A Shrieker's weak point is the red portion of its chest when it charges a scream, so try to not to reveal that area too much. An agent can kill your Shrieker by shooting it in the chest area a few times. You can charge a scream in a spawn point then exit the spawn point with a scream ready to hit an agent with. Always try to hit the agent with a close range scream to knock the agent down. NOTE: As a Shrieker receives damage, its chest will expand automatically if the chest is bulging already. Getting hit actually saves your Shrieker the trouble of building up a scream. Screaming when a bunch of zombies is crowded around an agent is good in two ways. It is more likely to hit that close range agent and it will also make the zombies in that area more aggressive. A Shrieker is quite good with extra creatures that can attack along with it. By itself, a Shrieker can't really do much. Its punch is basically useless - it's the same slow punch that all zombies use. .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | COMMAND NAME | CONTROLLER COMMAND | STAMINA USAGE | |=============================================================================| | Walk | Left thumbstick | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Dash | Left thumbstick + X/A | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Taunt (Look for Agent) | Start | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Punch | R1/RT | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Charge Scream | Square/X | 0 Stamina | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Scream | L1/LT | 100 Stamina | '-----------------------------------------------------------------------------' =========== Rasklapanje =========== Stamina Recovery: 100 per second Starting Health: 3000 health Mutate From: N/A Chapter Locations: Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Forward Hangar Jake Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility Leon Chapter 4 - Market A Rasklapanje starts as a whole body when it first spawns. When an agent attacks the Rasklapanje, it will split in half and the player will control one of its two halves. When a Rasklapanje has been killed off, the creature will not die, but it will remain immobile for a few minutes. The creature player must wait for the Rasklapanje's body parts to revive again or press the select/back button and choose to "Die and Respawn". It's far better to respawn. The wait for a Rasklapanje to revive is around two minutes. NOTE: A Rasklapanje never actually dies, so a player can receive the medal for not dying just by playing as a Rasklapanje and ending that session! A Rasklapanje is most dangerous when it has a full body, but it is also far easier to shoot at that time. If a Rasklapanje player can grab an agent player and the agent cannot fight off the Rasklapanje, the agent will automatically die. A Rasklapanje can also toss of its hands by tapping the L1/LT button. This will make it to where the hand might grab the agent and hold that agent in place so your character can get in close to the agent. The CPU will control the hand. NOTE: One unique feature of a Rasklapanje is that it can use floor spawn points as warp zones to move throughout an area. Step near one of the tiny vents that the Rasklapanje spawns from to get an X/A command to hop back into it. This will take a player to a new spawn point on the current map. It's like a Mario pipe tunnel warp zone in a way. Once the Rasklapanje is split into two body parts, press any direction with the directional pad to change between the upper body and lower body. The CPU will control whichever body part that the player does not control. In order to reform the body, hold the L2+R2/LB+RB buttons until both body parts stick together again. It starts out with the area with sniper in the Stilt Housing Area. Players can take control of J'avo while the attack helicopter chases Chris and Piers on the docks. Player creatures can attack the agents during the attack helicopter boss fight and the dock section after the pagoda building catches on fire. The stage will end if Chris and Piers reach the double doors on the other side of the docks where they leave the Stilt Housing Area. The first area is a good area to attack when the agents are pinned down with sniper rifle fire. Wait for sniper rifle J'avo to shoot at the agents. When an agent starts to fire back at the J'avo, run up and get an attack in on the agent. Many of the mutations don't really help out that much in the beginning area since few J'avo attack. Mutations such as Ruka-Khvatanje are always useful if you can get a distance from the agent without them knowing and then grab them. The Napad is very limited in the first area since it has little area to move. In the docks area, the agents will have to run from an attack helicopter. Creature players can't really do too much here, once an agent runs by them. You only really get one chance to hit an agent. As an agent runs by your J'avo, time a sword hit to hit that player. If the character is staggered, they might get hit by the attack helicopter's missiles and die. During the attack helicopter fight, J'avo players can annoy the living hell out of the agent players. If the agent players stay outside on the walkway, run toward them and attack since they will likely be attacking the chopper. This is a good area to go all out and attack no matter what J'avo mutation you wind up with. Chris and Piers players are under constant pressure during the helicopter fight, so troll the hell out of them attacks from behind. The helicopter might kill off your creature, so... it's basically a double-edge sword here. Once the agents finish off the helicopter, all their attention will be on the remaining J'avo and getting off the building so there is little that can be done then. The final area has two major crowds of J'avo that will attack the character to which a creature player can take advantage of - sneak in and attack. Be forewarned that the agents are VERY likely to use grenade launchers to thin out the crowds in this area. Once the two agents reach the double doors and activate the partner assist command, the stage if over for the Agent Hunt players. ================================================ Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Rear Hangar ================================================ Creatures: Neo-Umbrella J'avo, Glava-Smech, Ruka-Bedem, Ruka-Khvatanje, Napad Chris and Piers have to do one of two things to complete their objective for this area. They must raise the stairs below the door that Ada went through and blow open the bulkhead door that covers the door that Ada went through. This area is extremely wide open, but there are many crates and other objects to hide behind. The bad part about this chapter is that J'avo can't group around agents as much because the area is so wide open and the agents have so much area to move around in. An agent with a grenade launcher can be a beast in this area. The best time to attack the agents is when Chris and Piers split up on the top walkways. This is when they go upstairs to rewire the rocket and blow open the bulkhead door. The Piers player is the most vulnerable since he will have to guard the Chris player while Chris climbs across the pipe on his side. The Piers player will have to guard Chris from the rifle J'avo on the upper floor and he will have to watch out for J'avo that spawn on his side of the walkway. It's best to spawn closest to the Piers player at that time and go after him. Both players will once again be occupied while trying to rewire the missile. One of them will have to guard the other. If J'avo can occupy the player that guards the rewiring player long enough, a creature can get to the player that rewires the missile and hit that player. The agents will have go open a many doors on the bottom floor with the partner assist command. Watch for any of them that go into ready status near the door and try to hit them. They are not invincible until the partner joins them. When the agents exit out to the exterior portion of the ship to lower the stairs, there is really little a creature player can do beside wait around a corner or wait at the top of a ladder for an agent. Don't try to fight an agent on a narrow walkway or the agent can easily melee kill your creature without even the need of guns. This segment will end once Chris and Piers get through the door on the opposite side of the bulkhead door. =================================================== Chris Chapter 4 - Aircraft Carrier - Forward Hangar =================================================== Creatures: Rasklapanje This is the portion of chapter 3 where Chris and Piers must find three passcodes in order to unlock a door on the floor above. Rasklapanje can step beside ground spawn points (holes in the floor) and hop inside them and teleport to another room in the stage - be sure to keep this in mind since they are so slow. The agents start with Passcode A, so they will be going after Passcodes B and C during this portion of the stage. The double doors that Passcode B is located behind requires both agents to use a partner action command, so a player can take advantage of this and attack (try to grab) when an agent goes into ready status near the double doors. The twisting corridors can help your Rasklapanje get the drop on the agents, but the best chance you have at hitting them is to attack along with several other Rasklapanje. Using the Rasklapanje's bottom half to spread acid throughout a narrow corridor toward an agent can work out well in some of the corridor (especially the east corridor). By the time the agents reach the area where Passcode C is, they will likely have Rasklapanje all over them, so that is a great time to attack. Hiding in a room doesn't really help out since you're basically trapping yourself in that small area. Once the agents get all three passcodes, they will run toward the upstairs door and use them on the control panel. There is little that can done from then on for the creature players. The agents will likely speed ahead of your Rasklapanje by then. ===================================== Chris Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility ===================================== Creatures: Neo-Umbrella J'avo, Ruka-Bedem, Telo-Eksplozija, Gnezdo The Underwater Facility area is when Chris and Piers separate at the beginning of the Underwater Facility after releasing Jake and Sherry from their cells. Since both characters split up, your J'avo will have a good chance of killing them. The Piers player is the main character to go after during this stage. The Chris player only has to fight a small group of J'avo in a corridor on the bottom floor. The Piers player must fight a room full of J'avo that are spread out. There are snipers on the upper level walkways and J'avo behind gun turrets in the back of the room. J'avo players can actually get behind the turrets and shoot at the agents with them. This works great for pinning down the Piers player. The problem comes when the Chris player moves up the elevator and comes in from the back portion of the area. Be on the lookout for a sudden haymaker from behind at that point. The stage continues as the agents take the elevator to the bottom floor. There is a room full of J'avo that will attack the agents and mutate into Glava- Smechs on them. Basically the whole crowd mutates, so this can really keep the agents occupied - they will likely take out grenade launchers to deal with the crowds. The second room has two J'avo with rocket launcher in it. These J'avo can be a pain to the agents if they sneak up on the agents and they very often can. You can literally hide in this room and let the cheapass AI rocket launcher J'avo get the agents all red under the collar before your J'avo attacks. The final area is the timed chamber where J'avo with green eyes can pull levers and release Chrysalids that will spawn Gnezdo and Napads. The area has two sniper rifle J'avo that will constantly respawn on the top floor - these will annoy the hell out of the agents to where they will have to stay moving. There isn't much strategy to this room besides attacking along with a crowd. If an agent kills your J'avo, hopefully it will form a Chrysalid that will hatch into Gnezdo. More than one Gnezdo can be a real pain in the ass for the agents in the chamber room. Once the time for the depressurization of the outside room is complete, the doors will unlock and the agents can leave and end the Agent Hunt mode session. _________________________ _____________________________________________________/ J A K E C A M P A I G N ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [ST02] ============================== Jake Chapter 2 - Mountain Path ============================== Creatures: Mesets The Mountain Path area is the mountain trails where Jake and Sherry have to find the three Memory Devices out in the snow. This map has some extremely poor visibility at times and being able to play as a creature that needs to fly through the snowy weather sure doesn't help. A player will always spawn as a Mesets in this stage. This is the only stage where a Mesets can be controlled and it's also one of the worst stages for controlling a flying creature. A Mesets can get stuck behind invisible walls along the boundaries of the map quite easily and visibility is poor the majority of the time. It's best to use the red diamond target marker to find the agents' location. Stay in the air the majority of the time. Only land when you need to see the bottom surroundings a bit better. Fighting on the ground is practically useless with a Mesets since its grab attack is really slow on the ground and its beak attack is very short range. The diving grab that can be done in the air will lock-on to an agent, so they will have to constantly move in order to dodge it. Once you swoop down for the first time, your position is pretty well known to the agent. It's hard for them to snipe your creature out of the air while your creature flies, but if you fly in one direction all the time, I'm sure the agent can manage to bring your bird down, so constantly fly in wavy patterns. ==================================================== Jake Chapter 3 - Research Facility - Living Quarters ==================================================== Creatures: J'avo, Glava-Sluz, Ruka-SRP, Strelats Players take control of J'avo while Jake and Sherry have just escaped the Detention Center portion of the Research Facility in this chapter. Jake and Sherry will be hunting down the ID Medals to gain access to the locked rooms in the statue room. Like with chapter 2 for Jake and Sherry, this all takes place in one big area without loading screens. J'avo spawn points are spread throughout the Living Quarters area and you should always pick the one that is closest to the agents. The spawn points are in the Library, the Bar, and the Storage Room. It's a good idea to wait for a group of J'avo to attack the agents before trying to attack with your J'avo. During this stage, J'avo can mutate into Glava-Sluz and Ruka-SRP. Glava-Sluz helps out more when attacking with a big group of J'avo since you can shoot sticky liquid at the agents while other J'avo attack. By itself, a Glava-Sluz is not very helpful. Ruka-SRP can be helpful when fighting agents in a large or small group. J'avo can also form a Chrysalid upon death and mutate into a Strelats. Like all other J'avo stages, you'll likely have to hatch right in front of the agent. If the agent stays near the Chrysalid, immediately spray out gas then try to run away from the agent if there are no other J'avo around. Wait for a wave of J'avo to run toward the agents while your Strelats stays at a safe distance then follow the wave to the agents and help out with your own attacks from a distance (spike shots). ================================== Jake Chapter 4 - Shopping District ================================== Creatures: J'avo, Ruka-SRP, Ruka-Khvatanje, Strelats The Shopping District includes the area after Jake and Sherry step out of the Alley in the Poisawan Shopping District. This is the area where Jake and Sherry start in a narrow corridor and have J'avo that move down the street in front of them. Jake has to climb a ladder down the street in order to open an unlocked door for Sherry. In the next area, they both get separated as one player falls off a walkway and falls through an awning then lands on the street below. This area also includes the Ubistvo (chainsaw J'avo) fight. Agent Hunt mode will stop once the agents reach the double doors after the Ubistvo fight. In the first area, the characters will separate briefly so Jake can unlock a door from the other side of an alley. A player can use this chance to attack the two agents separately. They do not stay separated for that long however. Crowds of J'avo will attack the agents when they first move down the street, so a player can take advantage of the J'avo waves to attack the agents. Many Strelats will spawn when the Sherry player is by herself - this can help out for keeping her occupied. The main problem with the Strelats is that they spawn once the characters are about to reunite however. NOTE: A J'avo can form a Chrysalid and mutate into a Strelats throughout this entire area. A Strelats can help out a player a bunch in this area. Be sure to use the gas when breaking out of the Chrysalid if agents are nearby then get away from them and fire needles at them from a distance. The next area is an open market area. If the agents get up on the high platforms in the open market area, it becomes very hard to hit them. A flood of J'avo will exit the doorway in the back of the area, but the agents will likely use their explosive rounds to make quick work of them. A second wave of J'avo will exit the doorway, but they are in much smaller number than the first. The agents will move up several stairs then one of them will fall to the street in the next area. The next street is a good area to lay an ambush on the bottom agent. The bottom agent will have to deal with J'avo that have heavy machine guns. The J'avo will be on the upper walkway and at the end of the street. While the agent is busy trying to shoot the J'avo with machine guns, sneak up behind the agent and hit him. The Ubistvo fight is a great opportunity to get some hits in on the agents for sure. They will both have to deal with a boss that can kill them in one hit if he catches them and J'avo players can really take advantage of this and attack the agents very aggressively. Just think, if they get in too bad of a fight with you're J'avo, they leave themselves open to the Ubistvo's one-hit dying status/kill slices. After the battle, the agents are free to kick your ass again. There is not too much J'avo players can do after the battle since the area will be basically free of all enemies except creature players. The agents only have to move down the corridor ahead and open the double doors to end this Agent Hunt stage. ==================================== Jake Chapter 5 - Underwater Facility ==================================== Creatures: Rasklapanje Jake and Sherry must activate four reserve batteries by pulling levers on different floors of the Underwater Facility in order to power the elevator for this chapter. This is quite a fun stage to play the Rasklapanje in. A player MUST use the spawn points to move to different floors when the agents hop on the lift in the middle chamber in order to move up. Find one of the spawn points (hole in the floor) and stand next to it to get an X/A button prompt then enter that spawn point to warp to another floor. The best time to go after an agent is when they run to one of the doorways that lead to the middle chamber. I'm sure you remember that Jake and Sherry have to wait by the doorway for the lift to move down or up toward them so they can hop to it. This is one of the best times to attack the agent. If the agent is not patient and tries to jump as the lift comes toward them, you might be able to grab that agent before the agent hops over to the lift. Waiting for several Rasklapanje to group in an area and go after one player is a great chance for your Rasklapanje to attack also. Don't ever attack from the beginning of this stage since both agents will be together and there will likely be no other Rasklapanje in the area to help our your creature. Jake and Sherry have to split up in order to activate the final reserve battery. The Sherry player is often the agent stuck without a partner for a while on her side in Room H while both characters attempt to pull the last two switches. Rasklapanje can completely troll that Sherry player while the Jake player makes his way to the other side. Once both agents activate the final battery, they will have to hop back on the lift in Room I, which is down the corridor from Room H, so you still have a chance to kill them even after all reserve batteries are activate. By that time, your chances are slim however, since they don't have to stop much more. _________________________ _____________________________________________________/ L E O N C A M P A I G N ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [ST03] ========================= Leon Chapter 1 - Gun Shop ========================= Available Creatures: Zombie, Bloodshot The Gun Shop covers the entire portion of chapter 1 where Leon and Helena protect the Gun Shop from zombies and then escape it in the bus afterwards. Players will be able to choose from many spawn points in the surrounding buildings and rooftops. Attacking an agent from the beginning is hard since a creature must slowly hop through a window and then enter the Gun Shop in order to start an attack. It's far better to enter the Gun Shop without a weapon because of this. Your best attack as a zombie or a Bloodshot is your grab attack for much of this area. Spitter zombie's spit can works well, from long range, but make sure to aim through the windows carefully. Stand outside the building's windows and spit some then eventually enter the building if the agents move too much. Catching an agent off guard is MUCH easier once a Whopper arrive. When the Whopper Supreme arrives in the second floor room, this is a great chance to get an attack in on an agent that is occupied with the Whopper. The Whopper on the roof can help out for taking an agent's attention off your creature as well, but an agent is more likely to use an explosive against the roof Whopper since it appears with other enemies. During the part when Leon and Helena get in the bus, there is a crate behind the bus that can be climbed and then your creature can climb to the roof and drop through the opening in the top of the bus. The bus portion can help you to get an easy attack in or it can set your creature up for an attack that is aimed against a whole crowd. ================================ Leon Chapter 2 - Forest Cemetery ================================ Available Creatures: Zombie, Zombie Dog, Bloodshot, Shrieker Forest Cemetery covers the entire beginning portion of chapter 2 up until the part where Leon and Helena first enter the Cathedral. Players can spawn as zombies and zombie dogs in the graveyard and then zombies and Shriekers are available in the crypt area. By the time the agents get to the Cathedral, players can spawn as Bloodshots, zombies and Shriekers. The graveyard has many gravestone, coffins and trees to hide behind while playing as a dog. Choose to spawn in a doghouse if you want to play as a dog and choose the graveyard areas to play as a zombie. When playing as a dog, try to conceal yourself behind a tree or gravestone and wait for other enemies to attack an agent then run toward the agent's backside and tackle the agent. NEVER run toward an agent's front side since they will get a counter command that will kill your zombie dog. If an agent waits for your dog from a distance, that agent is preparing to counter, so simply run by that agent or duck back out of sight. Zombies can work well for the graveyard, but it's best to switch to crawling before attacking an agent. A crawling zombie can be heard to see with the multi-leveled graveyard, so you can easily get the drop on an agent while crawling. Don't attack with shovel - toss the shovel and crawl. When the agents reach the crypt area, attacking becomes much harder since the area is so wide open with many corridors. You can stand at the corner of a corridor and wait for an agent to make a turn around the corner then attack the agent. The problem with this is that your attacks will be so slow. Acid spitting with a spitter zombie from a distance can work well in the crypt area when fighting agents that are surrounded. The Shrieker is not all that useful in the crypt area unless you come upon an agent that is crowded with other enemies. NOTE: Keep in mind that a Shrieker's scream lures zombies and makes all surrounding enemies more aggressive. --> CRYPT AREA MAP CATHEDRAL STAIRS |___| |___| L __________________________| |________________________ O D | Shrieker | ___ C O | _______________________________________________ | | GH|K O | | | | | E R | | | | | |D | | | | | |_______| |_________ ____________ ________| | | | | Shrieker | | Shrieker | | _____________________| | ____ | | ________| | | | | | | | | | | | | | |___________| |________ | | | | |< RH (in coffin) | | |__________________ |___| |________________________ | | Shrieker | | | |__________________ | ____________________ | | | | | | | | ___ | | | ____________ | | | | | | | | | | | | D | ___ | | | | | | | | | o | | | | | | | | | | | | g | | | | |________________| |_______ | | | |_________| |___| | | | | |< HELENA | | |________________________________| | | STARTING |_________________________| LEON STARTING ^ |- -| START GH = Green Herb RH = Red Herb Notice the green herb and red herb pickups labeled on the map. You can bet your ass that agents will be rushing to those locations. The red herb pickup on Helena's side requires her to lift open a coffin, so she will be stuck in place for a while and open to your attacks while attempting to get that red herb. The green herb for Leon doesn't make him pause for long, but keep in mind that he will be heading that way... well, if that Leon player read my full campaign walkthrough and all. Once the agents reach the courtyard in front of the Cathedral, it's really best to wait for them to try to go inside the Cathedral. Up until they actually try to enter the Cathedral, very few enemies will spawn. Once the enemies start to spawn after the agents try to enter the Cathedral, it's party time! Players will often spawn as Bloodshots and Shriekers in the courtyard area. A zombie can be kind of rare in a way. Bloodshots can easily catch an agent off guard. Their diving grab is great, but keep in mind that it leads to death if countered. If you find that the agents constantly try to grab diving Bloodshots with the counter command, start to crawl then grab the agent. The agent can't counter a crawling grab! Shriekers can work very well for the courtyard area in front of the Cathedral for both damaging agents and drawing other enemies into the fights. When playing as a Shrieker, charge a scream by looking away from an agent then quickly run toward that agent and scream near the agent. The Shrieker can really do some damage when an agent gets crowded by other enemies in this area. The agent's must reach the Cathedral gates to accomplish their objective, so you can charge a scream then wait for an agent to approach the gate and get into ready status then quickly charge the agent and scream. It's dirty, but hey... you are the villain now, remember? NOTE: Be on the lookout for agents that use incendiary grenades while in the courtyard. They will likely toss them at a big group of creatures. ======================= Leon Chapter 3 - Cavern ======================= Creatures: Zombie, Bloodshot, Shrieker Leon and Helena will start out on the southwest portion of the map below for chapter 3 in the Cavern area. Both Agents must get to the southeast area shown below and in order to do this, they have to circle across the ENTIRE area. Once Leon and Helena reach the two levers in the southeast, they must activate them and then the stage will end for the Agent Hunt mode players. --> CAVERN MAP __ __ .' From the high areas, a spitting zombie can literally troll agents for quite a while. Start crawling with the spitting zombie while shooting acid and the zombie will be much harder to hit. The agents will have to constantly look out for enemies up high while running through this area. Agents will likely choose to dash through much of this area, so it's not really good to stand back for too long. When your creature first spawns, find a high area that is closest to the nearby agent before hopping down. Don't just hop down from your high area then try to find the agents or it might take your creature longer to reach the agent. All zombie types can works well here. The basic zombie can easily perform a diving grab to damage agents when they stop, the Bloodshot can crawl toward an agent then grab them without the agent having the ability to counter and the Shrieker can charge a scream then sneak up behind the agents while they are busy with other creatures and knock them on their asses. This stage has dynamite zombies in it. Players can start with dynamite strapped to their zombie's chest or the zombie might start with a lit stick of dynamite in its hand. The dynamite can be thrown like any other weapon to trigger the dynamite explosion. The dynamite can kill off other zombies and damage the agents - it's truly a double edge sword. One of the best times to attack the agents is when they separate in the east portion of the map. Players can spawn right above the Leon player while he uses his sniper rifle to help out Helena then grab him while he tries to help. Another good spot to grab the players is when they try to push the boulder or when they try to turn the cranks in the far south. Once they turn both cranks, the Agent Hunt mode portion of the stage is finished, so you better go all "RARRR BITCH" on them while they turn those two cranks in the south to kill them off before they complete the stage. ======================= Leon Chapter 4 - Market ======================= Creatures: Rasklapanje The Market is one of the more fun areas to play as a Rasklapanje since Leon and Helena have much to do in the Market while your creature is free to attack. The player can only play as the Rasklapanje in this area. This is the portion of Leon's chapter 4 campaign where him and Helena must find three keys to unlock the exit door in the market. A player can take advantage of this and fight the agents separately at that time. Helena will be on the side with storage key C and Leon will be on the side closest to storage key B - on the rooftop and the middle area locked door. Both of the agents have to use partner assist commands to open the door to get storage key C and storage key A. This is an excellent time to attack them also. When a player is in ready status for the partner to help open the door, that player is open to attack! Toss off the arms of your Rasklapanje from a safe distance then try to grab one of the agents. The grab is by far the best move with the Rasklapanje since it kills instantly if the agent can't struggle out of it. A Rasklapanje's grab is quite hard to struggle out of at times also. Rasklapanje can really mount up heavily in this chapter, so be sure to join in on the fun when a Rasklapanje group is all around the agents. Watch out for incendiary grenades since a Rasklapanje takes major damage from fire. ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ \_/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \__/ \_/ / \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \ S E C T I O N V [MT00] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ ___ | | ___ | | ___ | | ___ | | ___ | | ___ | | ___ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ | | ___ | | ___ | M E D A L S & T I T L E S | ___ | | ___ | | \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ / \ \___/ | | | | | | | | | | | | \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ____________ __________________________________________________________________/ T I T L E S ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [MT01] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Agent Hunter AGENT HUNT TITLE (01/15) _ |_| REQUIREMENT: Play Agent Hunt. Instead of including this in my RE6 campaign walkthrough, I thought it would make a better separate guide. Just like my RE6 Mercenaries guide, this will remain separate from the campaign guide. The guide has been spellchecked, but I haven't had time to read back over it yet, so there might be a few typos here and there. I'll fix it all eventually. 01/22/13 - Updated one of the medals in this guide. The "Take Cover while playing as a J'avo" medal has been updated. ******************************************************************************* CONTACT INFO [CI00] ******************************************************************************* I can be reached at my email address, which is berserker_kev(at)yahoo.com, so please contact me if you have any questions, comments, etc. Replace the (at) with @. I don't mind receiving emails at all. Don't add me to your Yahoo Messenger though; I use Yahoo Messenger only for close friends. You can contact me through Xbox or PSN. I'm online nearly all the time. Don't send a friend request though. Xbox LIVE Gamertag: Berserker Kev PSN: Berserker_Kev I do have a few guidelines however: 1) Give me a subject in the email, preferably one including the name of the game. An actual subject looks damn sexy in my inbox compared to an unattractive blank subject line. 2) Read the guide over and make sure that your question is not already answered. 3) Please speak in English and attempt to use some correct grammar. This is in no way meant to offend those that cannot speak English well. I have spoken with some readers that claim they cannot speak English when, in fact, they speak better English then some Americans. So basically if you "try" to talk to me then that is good enough. :) And last, but not least, if you found this walkthrough helpful, an email would be most appreciated. It is very true that I write these guides as a hobby, but just that little email that lets me know that I have helped someone always makes me feel special for about five minutes. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone on the gaming boards that you used a guide. ;) If you have a youtube account, you could also give me a subscription on youtube. I promise to keep you entertained with plenty of Chris Redfield action! www.youtube.com/BerserkerSTARS ******************************************************************************* ABOUT ME [AM00] ******************************************************************************* My name is Kevin Hall. I'm 32 years old and live in the US, in a small town in Mississippi. Ever since I was really young, I have been a huge fan of video games since I was first introduced to them via the Atari 2600 and NES 8-bit. My favorite gaming series is the Resident Evil series followed closely by the Castlevania series. I'm a complete horror gaming junkie - survival horrors are my main cup of tea. Capcom is my favorite video game company. They hardly ever let me down when it comes to games with plenty of replay value. "My Chris will FAQ you up!" I have been deeply involved in the Resident Evil Mercenaries community ever since the release of Resident Evil 5 in March 2009. The Mercs portion of RE5 hit me like no other mini game has before and I've spent the past few years fully dedicated to it for the most part. I'm pretty well known for using only Chris Redfield in RE5 Mercs and continue to do so in other games. Why? Chris Redfield has always been my favorite RE character and I'm biased when it comes to my selected character! My known aliases are Berserker or Berserker Kev. Many people call me "Kev" and I've also gained the nickname "Kevo" from the Mercs community. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --> My Youtube page: Videos with RE5 Mercs Chris Redfield gameplay and videos for plenty of other games that I have worked on can be found on my youtube page. www.youtube.com/BerserkerSTARS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --> Berserker: Tear Through the Game (My Gaming Blog) My own site with game reviews, discussions of my guides (some), and random thoughts about video games.
