FAQ Description ~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tekken Hybrid is a PS3 exclusive game that comes with Tekken Tag Tournament HD and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue (a demo of the upcoming console release of TTT2). The focus of this guide is to provide you with a list of all trophies available within both TTT HD and TTT2 Prologue, as well as provide you with some tips on getting every trophy available. If you have any questions or issues with certain trophies, feel free to e-mail me at the address provided at the top of this guide. It took a span of 3 days over Thanksgiving weekend to obtain all Tekken Hybrid trophies AND write this guide, with most of the time spent on writing this guide. So, since you probably won't be writing a trophy guide for this game, it could possibly take you less time :). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ ~ ~ 4. Legend ~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I will not be adding a complete "Legend" for the notations used in this FAQ, however you can use the Legend from my "TTT Hidden Moves FAQ" at the following link: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/250631-tekken-tag-tournament/faqs/30232 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ ~ ~ 5. Tekken Tag Tournament HD Trophy Guide ~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The following is a list of the Trophies available for Tekken Tag Tournament HD, along with tips on how to unlock each one. Trophy list provided by PS3Trophies.org: http://www.ps3trophies.org/game/tekken-tag-tournament-hd/trophies/ WARNING: Hidden trophies are displayed below. * Indicates a Hidden Trophy Description Trophy ----------- ------ ==================================================== King of Iron Fist * Platinum ==================================================== Master of all. TIP: You will unlock this trophy right after all of the other TTT HD trophies have been unlocked. ==================================================== STRIKE! Bronze ==================================================== Achieve a Strike in Tekken Bowl. TIP: I believe that a good way to get strikes with Jin Kazama, or any medium-speed bowler, is to move a little to the left before you throw the ball. Then make sure that the "Ball Spin" is in the middle, or a little to the right. Then make sure that your speed is almost full. You may not get a strike every time, but a good majority of the pins will get knocked down. For more tips with Tekken Bowl, check out the "Tekken Tag Tournament: Bowling FAQ" by Wazuya: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/250631/10002 ==================================================== No Need for Help Bronze ==================================================== Perform a tag change between Kazuya and Devil. TIP: Simply select both Kazuya and Devil, then press the tag button at least once during the match. ==================================================== Tournament Champ Bronze ==================================================== Clear Arcade on Normal or higher difficulty. TIP: I would recommend making the following changes to under "Options > Game Options" from the main menu: Difficulty: Normal Fight Count: 1 Round Time: 30 You can win a match by K.O. or Time Out. If you need some help, there are a few moves that you can use that the A.I. will usually fall for. You can find a list of the moves below. If you want, you can perform these moves over and over again throughout the match. Be aware that in the later rounds, your opponent will block and attack more. Character Move to Perform --------- --------------- Paul Phoenix Hammer Punch to Power Punch [d+1,2 (down + LP, RP)] Heihachi Mishima Hammer Punch to Power Punch [d+1,2 (down + LP, RP)] True Ogre Serpent's Venom [f,f+2 (forward, forward + RP)] Ogre Serpent's Venom [f,f+2 (forward, forward + RP)] NOTE: For novices, I would recommend using True Ogre's attack as it has decent range and is unblockable and unduckable. ==================================================== Doctor B! Bronze ==================================================== K.O. an onlooker in Tekken Bowl. TIP: To hit an onlooker (any person on left or right sides of the bowling lane) withn Tekken Bowl, move your bowler all the way to the left side of the screen then press the X button, move your sight as far left as you can and try to get your spin meter as far left as you can before pressing the X button. It probably shouldn't matter where your power meter is when doing this, but I usually try to get it as high as I can. Press the X button again. You have done this correctly if the screen shakes and the announcer says "K.O." ==================================================== Counter Master Bronze ==================================================== Perform 25 Attack Reversals. TIP: There are some fighters that have the ability to reverse attacks by timing "b+1+3" (back + LP + LK) or "b+2+4" (back + RP + RK) with their opponent's attack (otherwise known as "Attack Reversal"). These fighters are Anna Williams, Jin Kazama, Jun Kazama, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, and Wang Jinrei. Be aware that not all attacks can be reversed. I believe that the easiest way to unlock this trophy is to go into the Practice mode Freestyle setting, then set the "Training Dummy" as "Controller", which will let you use a second controller to control Player 2. Have Player 2 perform a regular punch, then use one of the above fighters to reverse the attack. Do this until you unlock the trophy. NOTE: I was unable to unlock this trophy under "VS CPU" in the Practice mode. ==================================================== Team Player Bronze ==================================================== Defeat 5 teams in Team Battle. TIP: The fastest way to get this is to go into the "Options" from the main menu and change Difficulty to "Easy", and choose "1" when selecting the number of fighters, Both 1 player and 2 player battles count toward this trophy. ==================================================== Staying Power Bronze ==================================================== Achieve 10 consecutive wins in Survival. TIP: If you need some help, there are a few moves that you can use that the A.I. will usually fall for. You can find a list of the moves below. If you want, you can perform these moves over and over again throughout the match. Be aware that in the later rounds, your opponent will block and attack more. I would recommend using True Ogre's "Serpent's Venom" attack [f,f+2 (forward, forward + RP)] as it has decent range and is unblockable and unduckable. The strategy that I usually use is to perform this attack then keep doing it as soon as the opponent gets back up. You might be able to throw is a few extra attacks while they are still on the ground, such as the "Demented Snake" [FC+3,3,N+3 (While crouching, LK, LK, LK)]. For my partner, I usually pick Paul Phoenix and do his "Hammer Punch to Power Punch" [d+1,2 (down + LP, RP)]. It's an okay attack that the computer sometimes falls for. You should get this trophy right after your 10th victory. ==================================================== Land Speed Record Bronze ==================================================== Clear Time Attack in under 09'00"00. TIP: For Time Attack mode, you will have to play a total of 8 matches, which averages out to about 1 minutes and 7.5 secounds per match. A good strategy that I use is to select Paul Phoenix, then perform his "Pump in Pedal" [SS+3 (Sidestep, LK)], then immediately follow it by his "Burning Fist" [b+1+2 (back + LP + RP)]. Most of the time, the enemy will just walk forward after being hit by the "Pump in Pedal" low kick and let themselves get hit by your "Burning Fist", which will a huge amount of damage. After that, finish the enemeny off or do the same thing to their partner if they manage to tag out. If you are hit by the enemy, you can just attempt this again. Beware that at times, it may be difficult to pull this off. If you need more tips, check out the "Tekken Tag Tournament: Fast Time Guide" by IAM at the link below: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/250631-tekken-tag-tournament/faqs/7704 ==================================================== Escape Artist Bronze ==================================================== Successfully escape 5 throws. TIP: For this trophy, you will need to break your opponent's throw attempt 5 different times. You can escape an opponent's throw by pressing a specific button when they are beginning their throw animation, depending on what type of throw they perform. It's a bit more complicated than this, but here is a simple guide: Opponent's throw Escape button ---------------- ------------- 1+3 (LP+LK) 1 2+4 (RP+RK) 2 The easiest way to unlock this trophy this is to go into the Practice mode Freestyle setting, then set the "Training Dummy" as "Controller", which will let you use a second controller to control Player 2. Have Player 2 perform the "1+3" grab, then have Player 1 press the "1" button at the beginning of the throw animation. Do this until you unlock the trophy. NOTE: If doing this under Practice mode, it looks like this trophy will only unlock if Player 1 is escaping the throws. ==================================================== Safe! Bronze ==================================================== Perform 10 Sliding Dashes. TIP: The "Sliding Dash" is performed by putting some distance between you and your opponent, running towards them by double tapping forward, then pressing the "4" (RK) button before you reach your opponent. If done correctly, you will see yourself slide towards your opponent's legs. The easiest way is to go into Practice mode and keep doing this until you unlock this trophy. NOTE: You will get credit towards this trophy even if your opponent blocks your attack. ==================================================== It's a Bird, it's a Plane! Bronze ==================================================== Perform 10 Running Cross Chops. TIP: The "Running Cross Chop" is performed by putting some distance between you and your opponent, running towards them by double tapping forward, then pressing the "1+2" (RP+LP) buttons before you reach your opponent. If done correctly, you will see yourself dive towards your opponent's mid-section. The easiest way is to go into Practice mode and keep doing this until you unlock this trophy. NOTE: You will get credit towards this trophy even if your opponent blocks your attack. ==================================================== Alley-oop! Bronze ==================================================== Perform 20 Tag Combos. TIP: A Tag Combo is when you attack an opponent, tag out, then continue the combo. However, unlocking this trophy is a bit simpler because the game doesn't require you to finish the combo with the tagged-in player. The easiest way to unlock this trophy is to go into Practice mode and perform attacks that allow you to launch your opponent in the air and tag out immediately after the attack. You can find a list containing some of those attacks below: Anna Williams U/F+4,5 Baek Doo San 3,4,3,5 Bryan Fury b+1~5 Devil SS+2~5 Forrest Law U/F+4~5 Heihachi Mishima f,F+2,5 Jin Kazama WS+1,2~5 Lei Wulong 4~4,3,3,5 Wang Jineri d/f+1,1,5 d/b+2,5 Yoshimitsu INS 4,5 4~3,5 ==================================================== Didn’t Break a Sweat! Bronze ==================================================== Achieve 10 perfect victories. TIP: The easiest and fastest way to get this trophy is to go into VS Battle, set Player 2's health to 1%, then defeat Player 2 until you unlock this trophy. ==================================================== Great! Bronze ==================================================== Win a match with less than 5% health. TIP: An easy way to do this is to go into the VS Battle mode, select True Ogre as the main character for both players, then set Player 1's health to 50% and Player 2's health to 1%. Have Player 2 perform True Ogre's "Serpent's Venom" attack [f,f+2 (forward, forward + RP)] 4 times on Player 1, then have Player 1 defeat Player 2. Try not to let too much time pass between each attack, or you will start gaining back health. ==================================================== I Believe I Can Fly Bronze ==================================================== Damage opponent with P. Jack's Giant Foot Stomp while tagging in. TIP: Pick any character and have Prototype Jack (P. Jack) as your partner. To perform P. Jack's Giant Foot Stomp, with P. Jack tagged out, press the tag button, then hold the "Up" button on the controller. You will get this trophy if you are able to damage your opponent when doing this. Usually, your opponent won't get damagaed if they are standing still, so you can either have a second player continue to walk towards you while you are doing P. Jack's Giant Foot Stomp, or you can just keep on attempting this until you are able to pull it off against the computer in either a match or under "VS CPU" in the Practice mode. ==================================================== Saw it Comin'! Bronze ==================================================== Perform 10 Low Parries. TIP: A low parry is performed by pressing "d/f" (down/forward) on the d-pad when your opponent does a low attack. You have done this correctly if you push your opponent's punch or kick to thew side. Be aware that a Low Parry is not the same as blocking a low attack, and also not all low attacks can be low parried. The easiest way to do this is to go into the Practice mode Freestyle setting, select Bryan Fury as an opponent, then set the "Training Dummy" as "Controller". which will let you use a second controller to control Player 2. Have Player 2 perform the "Snake Edge" attack (d/f+3 (down/forward + LK)), then have Player 1 perform the low parry, as described above. Do this until you unlock the trophy. Note: If doing this under Practice mode, it looks like this trophy will only unlock if Player 1 is performing the low parries. ==================================================== Juggernaut Bronze ==================================================== Deal 10,000 total damage in Practice. TIP: You will need to accumulate 10,000 total damage points against your opponent in the Practice mode. It doesn't have to be all in the same play session. I would recommend selecting Paul Phoenix, set "Counter Attacks" to "On" in the settings, then keep doing Paul's "Burning Fist" attack [b+1+2 (back + LP + RP)]. This will get you 150 damage for each hit. Run up to your opponent and repeat. ==================================================== Doormat Bronze ==================================================== Perform 10 Running Stomp attacks. TIP: A Running Stomp is when you run over an opponent whom is lying on the ground and stomp on them. The eaiest way to do this is to go into Practice mode Freestyle setting, perform any attack that knocks the opponent to the ground, then set the training dummy as "Controller", which will keep them from standing up. Keep jumping back until you are a good length away from your grounded opponent, then run towards them (double tap the forward direction). If you do this correctly, you will see your character stomp on your opponent. Repeat until you unlock the trophy. ==================================================== Cat-like Reflexes Bronze ==================================================== Escape Mounted Punches 5 times. TIP: Every player has the ability to tackle another player by running towards their opponent from about 5 big steps away without pressing anything. If done correctly, one player will tackle another player to the ground. Every fighter except Yoshimitsu has the ability to perform standard Monuted Punches from the tackle position. This can be performed by pressing a combination of punch buttons after tackling an opponent. Some of the different combinations are as follows: TACKLE, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2 TACKLE, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 TACKLE, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2 TACKLE, 2, 1, 2, 2, 1 You can Escape a Mounted Punch by pressing the opposite punch button that you are being punched with. You will need to guess for this. If you are being hit with a right punch, you must press the left punch to escape, and vise-versa. Some players, such as Paul Phoenix and in Kazama have the ability to tackle an opponent without having to run from far away by doing "d/b+1+2" (down/back + LP + RP). The easiest way to get this trophy is to go into the Practice mode Freestyle setting, select Paul Phoenix as an opponent, then set the "Training Dummy" as "Controller". which will let you use a second controller to control Player 2. Have Player 2 perform Paul's "Ultimate Tackle" attack [d/b+1+2 (down/back + LP + RP)], then have Player 1 try to escape as explained above. Do this until you unlock the trophy. If you are unable to get the timing down correctly for the escape, you can just quickly press the "1" (RP) until you are able to escape. Be aware that doing it this way won't work all the time. NOTE: Even if you don't escape the first punch, you can still escape the Mounted Punches. ==================================================== What's My Name? Bronze ==================================================== Change Unknown's moveset 5 times in one match. TIP: While using Unknown, simply press the L3 button 5 times. Each press will randomly change her moveset. ==================================================== Judo Legend * Silver ==================================================== Perform 30 Ukemi techniques. TIP: Ukemi is a judo falling technique where recover from an attack. The way that I obtained this trophy is by going into the Practice mode Freestyle setting, selecting Bryan Fury as an opponent, then setting the "Training Dummy" as "Controller". which will allow someone to use a second controller to control Player 2. Have Player 2 perform Bryan's "Mach Breaker" attack [f,f+2 (forward, forward + RP)], then have Player 1 press "back" when hitting the ground. If done correctly, you will see your player spring back up. Do this until you unlock the trophy. Also, if you are hit by an attack that causes you to roll backwards, then you can press "D/B" to do a skidding recovery roll. However, this may not be possible when getting hit by an unblockable. Some of the attacks that cause you to roll back are: Bruce - {CH} f,f+3 Bryan - f,f+3 Ling - {CH} d/b+1 Paul - qcf+2 NOTE: I have not confirmed if the above attacks will count towads this trophy. ==================================================== Flawless Victory Silver ==================================================== Clear Arcade on Normal or harder difficulty without using a single continue. TIP: Same tip as the "Tournament Champ" trophy, except you can't use any continues if you want to get this trophy. ==================================================== All or Nothing Silver ==================================================== Win a round with Yoshimitsu's Suicide technique. TIP: The easiest and fastest way to get this trophy is to go into VS Battle, set Player 2's health to 1%, then defeat Player 2 until you unlock this trophy. Select Yoshimitsu as your main character, and perform his "Suicide" [f,F+1+4 (forward, hold forward, LP+RK)] or "Harakiri to Manji Blood Dance" [d+1+4,B+1,1,1,1,1] attack. NOTE: Using MokuYoshi (Mokujin miicking Yoshimitsu) works with unlocking this trophy. ==================================================== One Man Army * Silver ==================================================== Win 10 rounds without tagging. TIP: The easiest and fastest way to get this trophy is to go into VS Battle, set Player 2's health to 1%, then defeat Player 2 until you unlock this trophy. Make sure not to press the tag button while doing this. ==================================================== Watch Your Back Silver ==================================================== Perform 5 back throws. TIP: Perform 5 back throws within Pratice mode or within a match, The easiest way to do this is to just go into Practice mode, sidestep to around your opponent until their back is facing towards you, then peform a grab (either 1+3 or 2+4 (LP+LK or RP+RK)). ==================================================== TURKEY! * Silver ==================================================== Achieve 3 consecutive strikes in Tekken Bowl. TIP: Same tip as the "STRIKE!" trophy, except this time you need to get three strikes in a row in a single game. ==================================================== Beyond Perfection * Silver ==================================================== Achieve 30 perfect victories. TIP: The easiest and fastest way to get this trophy is to go into VS Battle, set Player 2's health to 1%, then defeat Player 2 until you unlock this trophy. ==================================================== Serious Damage Silver ==================================================== Deal more than 60 damage with a single combo in Practice. TIP: Within Practic mode, you just need the damage meter to get up to higher than 60 damage points. It doesn't need to be a juggle (aerial combo). One way to do this is to just perform a character's 10 hit combo. Also, there is a glitch in Practice mode where if you select Eddy Gordo (or Tiger) as a practice dummy, all your hits will be counted as a combo as long as you don't hit him into the crouching position (FC) or knock him down. So, you can just do regular punches until you unlock this trophy. ==================================================== Made for Each Other Silver ==================================================== Perform a Special Tag Throw. TIP: Special Tag Throws are throws that you can perform where you tag in your partner afterwards. I received this trophy after doing Nina Williams's "Jumping Flip" throw [u/f+1+2,5 (up/forward + LP + RP, TAG)], but the following is a list of throws that I believe should work for this trophy. Please be aware that I have not confirmed that these will actually count toward this trophy. Fighter Move to Perform ------- --------------- Anna Williams u/f+1+2,5 (up/forward + LP + RP, TAG) Armor King d/f+3+4 * 5 Baek Doo San {Approach from Left Side} (1+3 _ 2+4) Bryan Fury {Approach enemy from Behind} (1+3 _ 2+4), 5 Eddy Gordo {Approach enemy from Left} (1+3 _ 2+4), 5 Ganryu {Approach enemy from Right} (1+3 _ 2+4), 5 {Approach enemy from Left} (1+3 _ 2+4), 5 Gun Jack {Approach enemy from Left} (1+3 _ 2+4), 5 Jack-2 {Approach enemy from Behind} 2+4, 5 Kuma/Panda HCB ~ F+1+2 Kunimitsu {Approach enemy from Right} (1+3 _ 2+4) Lei Wulong 1+3, 5 Nina Williams u/f+1+2,5 (up/forward + LP + RP, TAG) {Approach enemy from Right} (1+3 _ 2+4), 5 P. Jack {Approach enemy from Left} 2+4 Wang Jinrei {Approach enemy from Right} (1+3 _ 2+4), 5 NOTE: The Forrest Law / Paul Phoenix team has a special combo, which isn't a throw, but will unlock this trophy. You can find the attack below: Law - Paul Great! (Poison Arrow to Stone Breaker to Fake Step Blow) f+2~1~5, 2,2, * 1 ==================================================== The A Team Silver ==================================================== Win an 8 character Team Battle match on Hard or higher difficulty. TIP: Same tip as the "Staying Power" trophy, except you should make the following changes under "Options > Game Options" from the main menu: Difficulty: Hard Round Time: 30 Also, make sure to select 8 fighters under the Team Battle mode. ==================================================== Eternal Champion Gold ==================================================== Clear Arcade on the hardest difficulty. TIP: Same tip as the "Tournament Champ" trophy, but set the difficulty under "Options > Game Options" to "Ultra Hard". It doesn't matter whether or not you use a continue. ==================================================== Chicken! * Gold ==================================================== Successfully reverse an Attack Reversal. TIP: Unlocking this trophy may be a bit difficult for one player, unless you already know what you're doing. There are some fighters that have the ability to reverse attacks by timing "b+1+3" (back + LP + LK) with their opponent's attack (otherwise known as "Attack Reversal"). These fighters are Anna Williams, Jin Kazama, Jun Kazama, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, and Wang Jinrei. Be aware that not all attacks can be reversed. A "Chicken" is performed when a player escapes an opponent's reversal of their attack. To escape most attack reversals, the opponent must input the correct chicken command: - The chicken is f+1+3 (forward + LP + LK) if the reversed attack was a left kick or left punch - The chicken is f+2+4 (forward + RP + RK) if the reversed attack was a right kick or right punch. I believe that the easiest way to unlock this trophy is to go into the Practice mode Freestyle setting, then set the "Training Dummy" as "Controller", which will let you use a second controller to control Player 2. Have Player 2 use one of the above fighters to perform an attack reversal while Player 1 does a regular punch, then have Player 1 enter the "Chicken" command. Check out the "Chicken Command Chart" on Tekken Zaibatsu for more info: http://www.tekkenzaibatsu.com/tekkentag/system_chickenchart.php ==================================================== OOHRAAAH Gold ==================================================== Clear Time Attack in under 06'00"00. TIP: Same tip as the "Land Speed Record" trophy, except this time, you will have average of about 45 seconds per match. ==================================================== Throwing Rocks! Gold ==================================================== Achieve a score of 200 or more in Tekken Bowl. TIP: Same tip as the "STRIKE!" trophy. Needless to say, your goal should be to try to get as many strikes and spares as possible. I like to choose a medium-spped bowler to start with (such as Jin Kazama), and a second bowler with radar (such as Bryan Fury) to clean up the spares. ==================================================== Gold Tetsu Gold ==================================================== Achieve 10 consecutive wins in VS Battle with Tetsujin on your team. TIP: The easiest and fastest way to get this trophy is to go into VS Battle, set Player 2's health to 1%, then defeat Player 2 until you unlock this trophy. You are required to get 10 wins in a row with Tetsujin as one of your characters. If Tetsujin is not in you team, you will need to start over. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ ~ ~ 6. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue Trophy Guide ~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The following is a list of the Trophies available for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue, along with tips on how to unlock each one. Trophy list provided by PS3Trophies.org: http://www.ps3trophies.org/game/tekken-tag-tournament-2-prologue/trophies/ WARNING: Hidden trophies are displayed below. * Indicates a Hidden Trophy Description Trophy ----------- ------ ==================================================== See you in the movie. Gold ==================================================== View all ending images. TIP: You will see a different image from the Tekken Blood Vengeance movie every time you go beat Arcade mode. You'll need to play through Arcade mode 21 times to view all images. NOTE: You are not required to play with all four fighters. ==================================================== I'm unbeatable! Silver ==================================================== Win 1 round without taking any damage. TIP: You can either set the Difficulty Level to Easy in the Options menu to help make it easier to get a win without taking any damage, or you can use a second controller and have Player 1 win perfectly. ==================================================== I'll smash you to pieces! Silver ==================================================== Land 5 Tag Assaults. TIP: A Tag Assualt is started by performing a Bound move during a combo, then immediately tagging in your partner. You can find a list of some Bound moves below: Alisa b+2,1 u/f+4,4 Devil Jin 1,2,3 d/f+1,2 u/f+3 Kazuya Mishima d/b+2 u/f+3 f+4 f,f+3 Ling Xiaoyu f,f+1 RDS,2~2 NOTE: Don't forget to tag in your partner after performing one of the above moves during a combo to start the Tag Assault. For a Tag Assault to count as 1 of the 5 that you need for this trophy, you will need to begin the Tag Assault (mentioned above), attack the opponent using your tagged in partner, then attack the enemy again using your original fighter. ==================================================== Stay down! Silver ==================================================== Land 10 Tag Combos. TIP: A Tag Combo is when you attack an opponent, tag out, then continue the combo. Unlike the "Alley-oop!" trophy to TTT HD, to unlock this trophy, you are required to finish the combo with the tagged-in player. To unlock this trophy, you will need to perform attacks that allow you to launch your opponent in the air and tag out immediately after the attack. You can find a list containing some of those attacks below: Devil Jin SS+2~5 Kazuya SS+2~5 After performing one of the above moves, you will need to land at least one attack with the tagged-in fighter. A simple punch will work. ==================================================== Are you even trying? Silver ==================================================== Escape 5 Tag Throws. TIP: See the "That was a nice combo" trophy for how to perform a Tag Throw. A Tag Throw can be escaped by pressing the "2" (RP) button during the throw animation. If you are having trouble getting the timing down, you can increase your chances of escaping by repeatedly pressing the button mentioned above. The fastest way to unlock this trophy if by having a second player keep performing the Tag Throw while the first player tries to escape. ==================================================== (Best friends forever!) Bronze ==================================================== Clear Arcade mode using Xiaoyu and Alisa together. TIP: There are a total of 4 stages that you must complete in the Arcade mode. To speed things along, go into the Options menu and make the following changes: Difficulty Level: Easy Rounds: 1 Round Time: 60 To unlock this trophy, you will only need to beat Arcade mode with a team containing Ling Xiaoyu and Alisa. ==================================================== That was quite a fall. Bronze ==================================================== Use Xiaoyu and land 5 Storming Flower counter-hits. TIP: To get this trophy, you will need to perform a counter-hit version of Ling Xiaoyu's "Storming Flower" attack [d/b+1 (down/back + LP)]. This can be done by landing the attack when your opponent is about to attack you, or by dpoing a "Ki Charge" [1+2+3+4 (LP+RP+LK+RK)] before attacking. You have done this correctly if the opponent rolls backwards after the attack instead of landing on their back and Xiaoyu gives a salute. The fastest way to unlock this trophy is to use two controllers and use the "Ki Charge" method mentioned above. ==================================================== Please accept my feelings. Bronze ==================================================== Use Alisa and land 5 Spam Bomb attacks. TIP: To get this trophy, you will need to perform Alisa's "Spam Bomb" attack [u/f+1+2 (up/forward + LP + RP)]. Simply walk up to your opponent and perform the attack. On easy difficulty, the CPU will almost always fall for this attack. ==================================================== Meet your maker! Bronze ==================================================== Use Devil Jin or Kazuya and land 5 beam attacks. TIP: You can use either Devil Jin or Kazuya to perform their "Laser Attack" [1+2 (LP+RP)], Devil Jin's "Infernal Destruction" [3+4,1+2 (LK+RK, LP+RP)] or Kazuya's "Devil Blaster" [3+4 (LK+RK)] attack 5 times. You can get this done quickly in one match if you use 2 players, perform the laser with either Devil Jin or Kazuya 3 times, have the opponent switch out, then perform it 2 more times. This way, you won't kill your opponent before you unlock the trophy. ==================================================== I always like a good fight. Bronze ==================================================== Fight 10 times against human opponents. TIP: Since there is no online mode, you will need 2 controllers for this trophy. Enter the Arcade mode and press the "Start" button on the second controller. All you need to do is go through 10 matches with 2 player controlled teams. It doesn't matter who wins. To speed things along, go into the Options menu and make the following changes: Rounds: 1 Round Time: 60 ==================================================== That was a nice combo. Bronze ==================================================== Land 10 Tag Throws. TIP: A tag throw is executed by performing a grab by pressing the "Tag" and "RP" buttons at the same time (Tag + RP). If you are having difficulty pressing "Tag + RP", you can set this button combination to one of the shoulder buttons under controller configuration. To unlock this trophy, you will only need to grab your opponent using the method explained above. NOTE: Using the Devil Jin / Kazuya team and performing the "Stone Head" tag throw [f,f+1+2~5 (forward, forward + LP + RP ~ TAG)] will also work for unlocking this trophy. ==================================================== Just like in the movies! Bronze ==================================================== Perform a Balcony Break. TIP: I was able to get this trophy on the Winter Palace stage by connecting Ling Xiaoyu's "Storming Flower" attack [d/b+1 (down/back + LP)] attack which knocked the opponent against the side of the wall with the stage and chair, broke the wall, and sent them to the area below. It might be easier to use two controllers and have the second player position themselve against this breakable wall. Another stage that has a breakable wall is Condor Canyon, which has it's breakable wall on the side with the open cave area. NOTE: Devil Jin's "Demon Paw" [f,f+2 (forward, forward + RP)], Kazuya's "Soul Thrust" [f+2 (forward + RP)], and Alisa's "Jumper Switch" [f,f+2,3 (forward, forward + RP, LK)] also works to break the walls on these stages. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ ~ ~ 7. About Tekkenomics ~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The main purpose of "Tekkenomics" is to provide you with Tekken FAQs/Guides and to keep you updated on Tekken news and information. "Tekkenomics" was originally the name of the website created by me (Wild Man X), with help from Paulinstein and Drake the Demon, which first came online on November 6, 2004. However, due to someone engaging in piracy on our hosting server the website went down in April 2007. With the release of Tekken 6 approaching for consoles, I decided to bring back Tekkenomics, but in the form of a blog, back in June 2009. "Tekkenomics" contains various Tekken related material, some of which is difficult to find on any other Tekken based website. The blog will contain exclusive articles, original FAQ files, move lists, combos/juggles, combo videos, in-game matches, Tekken commercials, PC desktop wallpaper, PSP wallpaper, CG art, fan-based material, and other things. If you're having problems visiting the "Tekkenomics Blog" at http://www.tekkenomics.com, you can also visit it at the following link: http://tekkenomics.wordpress.com If you were wondering how we came up with the name "Tekkenomics", back in my high school days in the year 2000, Paulinstein, me, and some other high school friends would get together to play Tekken 3 on the PlayStation 1. At the time, we were also enrolled in Economics. Whenever we would get together to play, we would say that we were going to study some "Tekkenomics". So, basically: "Tekken" + "Economics" = "Tekkenomics". There are a few references on the web to the name "Tekkenomics" that aren't related to us or our blog. There are some members on the Tekken Zaibatsu forums that go by the names "Tekkenomics", "Tekkenomics_101", and "TekkenNomics Jr." that aren't related to us. On Tekken Zaibatsu, we go by the names "Wild Man X", "Paulinstein", and "Drake the Demon". The things on the web that ARE related to us are at: GameFAQs, Neoseeker, IGN, 1UP.com, Gamerhelp, Gamespot, MySpace, AIM, MSN Messenger, Hotmail, GMail, YouTube, PicasaWeb, Blogger, WordPress, ImageShack, and Twitter. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ ~ ~ 10. Closing ~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please let me know if you are confused about any part of this FAQ, and I will do my best to clarify. Feel free to e-mail me any questions or comments about this FAQ or the Tekkenomics Blog. When sending an e-mail, please make sure that "Tekken", "Soul Calibur", or "FAQ" is somewhere in the e-mail title / subject name, or it will most likely be deleted or treated as spam. If you want to send a PSN friend request, I will only add you if you mention who you are or mention something about Tekken. Please DO NOT send an empty friend request. Please note that I can only speak and read/write English. I hope you find this FAQ helpful.
