This is my second FAQ ever written, the other being a Character FAQ for Shining Tears (PSP). The Star Wars franchise has fathered many video games over it’s time and the Battlefront series has been its best selling so far. this game puts you in the key battles during the Star Wars movies either as a regular soldier, or one of the key characters in the movies. Really powerful in the ways of the force. Character Name: Obi-Wan Weapon: Obi-Wan’s Lightsaber Force Powers: Saber Throw, Force Push Class: Jedi Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Mustafar, Mos Eisley, Naboo Description: The padawan of Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn, master of Anakin Skywalker. Played by Ewan McGregor. Character Name: Mace Windu Weapon: Lightsaber Force Powers: Saber Throw, Force Push Class: Jedi Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Yavin 4 Description: One of the senior members of the Jedi Council. Only Jedi to have a purple lightsaber. Played by Samuel L. Jackson. Character Name: Ki-Adi-Mundi Weapon: Ki-Adi-Mundi’s Lightsaber Force Powers: Saber Throw, Force Pull Class: Jedi Gender: Male Species: Cerean Appears In: Mygeeto Description: Has a very large, elongated head. A member of the Jedi Council. Was killed in the Mygeeto battlefield by his clone troops. Character Name: Aayla Secura Weapon: Aayla’s Lightsabers Force Powers: Saber Throw, Force Pull Class: Jedi Gender: Female Species: Twi’lek Appears In: N/A* Description: The blue female Jedi Knight. Has long tentacle like head. Was killed by her clone troops on Felucia. Character Name: Luke Skywalker Weapon: Lightsaber Force Powers: Saber Throw, Force Push Class: Jedi Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Mygeeto, Hoth Description: Son of Anakin Skywalker. The Last Jedi knight. Was trained by Yoda on Dagobah. Played by Mark Hamill. Character Name: Han Solo Weapon: DL44 Blaster, Fusion Cutter Secondary Weapon: Detpack, Rally (Defense Increase) Class: Rogue Pilot Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Endor, Polis Massa Description: The famed pilot of the Millenium Falcon. Best friend of Chewbacca and a key member in the rebellion. Played by Harrison Ford Character Name: Princess Leia Weapon: Sporting Blaster Secondary Weapon: Thermal Detonator, Invulnerability Class: Princess Gender: Female Species: Human Appears In: Naboo, Tantive 4 Description: Twin Sister of Luke Skywalker and daughter of Anakin, Princess Leia is the leader of the rebellion. Played by Carrie Fisher. Character Name: Chewbacca Weapon: Bowcaster, Guided Rocket Secondary Weapon: Time Bomb, Rage (Damage Increases) Class: Wookie Warrior/Pilot Gender: Male Species: Wookie Appears In: Kashyyk, Yavin 4 Description: The Wookie warrior who is the best friend of Han Solo. Also a pilot of the famed, Millennium Falcon * - Can only be played on Mos Eisley: Assault --------------------------------------------------------------------- - IV: Villains These are the villains of the Star Wars movies. They are usually the badass guys that everyone thinks are extremely cool. **** NOTE: ALL Villains are playable on Mos Eisley: Assault **** Character Name: Darth Maul Weapon: Doublesaber Force Powers: Saber Throw, Force Push Class: Sith Gender: Male Species: Zabrak Appears In: Mustafar, Mos Eisley, Naboo Description: Sith Assassin who wears red tattoos on his face. Killed Qui Gon Jinn in a duel on Naboo. Was killed By Obi-Wan. Wields a long two-bladed lightsaber. Character Name: General Grievous Weapon: Grievous Sabers Secondary Weapon: Rage (Damage Increases) Class: Droid General Gender: Male Species: Kaleesh Appears In: Mygeeto, Dagobah, Tantive 4, Polis Massa Description: The General of the Droid army during the Clone Wars. Has killed many Jedi and collect their lightsabers as a prize. Character Name: The Emperor Weapon: Darth Sidious’ Lightsaber Force Powers: Force Lightning, Force Choke Class: Sith Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Polis Massa Description: The Emperor of the Galactic Empire. Started out as Chancellor Palpatine during the Clone Wars and gained power after the eradication of the Jedi. Played by Ian McDiarmid. Character Name: Anakin Skywalker Weapon: Anakin’s Lightsaber Force Powers: Saber Throw, Force Choke Class: Sith Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Mustafar Description: Discovered by Qui Gon to be the Chosen One who is to bring balance to the force. Turns evil and joins the Sith. Father of Luke and Leia and turns into Darth Vader. Played by Hayden Christensen. Character Name: Count Dooku Weapon: Lightsaber Force Powers: Force Lightning, Force Choke Class: Sith Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: N/A* Description: Former Jedi Master and padawan of Yoda, Count Dooku was seduced by the Sith in his quest for power. Played by Christopher Lee. Character Name: Darth Vader Weapon: Lightsaber Force Powers: Saber Throw, Force Choke Class: Sith Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Hoth, Endor, Naboo, Dagobah Description: Hiding in his black costume, a deformed robotic Anakin Skywalker becomes one of the most recognizable movie figure of all time. Famous for his labored breathing noises and his line “I am your father” (to Luke). Character Name: Jango Fett Weapon: Westar-33 Blaster, Flamethrower Secondary Weapon: Wrist Rocket, Time Bomb Class: Bounty Hunter Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Kashyyk, Yavin 4 Description: A Bounty Hunter during the clone wars. All clones are clone of this bounty hunter. Father of Boba, he was killed by Mace Windu. Character Name: Boba Fett Weapon: EE-3 Blaster Rifle, Flamethrower Secondary Weapon: Wrist Rocket, Detpack Gender: Male Species: Human Appears In: Dagobah, Mygeeto, Yavin 4, Mos Eisley Description: Son of Jango, he was another clone but developed slowly. He was under the employ of Darth Vader and Jabba the Hutt. * - Can only be played on Mos Eisley: Assault --------------------------------------------------------------------- - V: Force Powers Here I will give a brief description of each force power, so you, the reader, can better understand them all. - Force Pull Description: Pulls your enemy towards you Damage: No Damage Users: Yoda, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura Rating: A very good force power. It brings the enemy towards you for an easier kill. - Force Push Description: Pushes your enemy away from you Damage: No Damage Users: Yoda, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker, Darth Maul - Saber Throw Description: Throws your lightsaber in front of you to cause damage - Damage: A lot of damage if lightsaber hits twice, still a considerable amount of damage if hit once Users: Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura Luke Skywalker, Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader - Force Lightning Description: Shoots lightning bolts at an enemy Damage: A lot of damage if continued use Users: Count Dooku, The Emperor - Force Choke Description: Utilizes the power of the force to choke an enemy Damage: Little damage applied, but great over time. Can You Play As Jedi? A. Yes, you can play as Jedi or members of the Sith, or even a couple of main Star Wars characters. I wouldn't have written this FAQ if you couldnt. Q. Which Jedi/Sith are playable? A. Read the FAQ Q. How can you play as Jedi/Sith? A. It depends on what game you are playing. If it's Galactic Conquest, you have to purchase a Hero upgrade, activate the upgrade before you do a battle, and then select him/her when the battle starts. If it's Instant Action, depending on your settings, either gain enough points to unlock the Jedi, or play for a certain amount of time. If you want to play as a Jedi for a whole game, play the Assault on Mos Eisley. Q. My Jedi was killed, where is he/she now? A. Unless your playing Assault on Mos Eisley, you will have to perform the certain conditions mentioned above to play as Jedi. Q. Is this Ad-Hoc or Infrastructure? A. Sadly, this amazing game is Ad-Hoc only... Q. How fast is the loading time? A. It's not lightning fast, and it's not too slow either. Figure about 20s for loading in between battles. Q. How big is the save data? A. It's 64kb for your profile/settings and 64kb for Galactic Conquest. Q. Which Planets are in the game? A. Read the FAQ. There are also 2 space levels in this game. Q. Is there a story mode? A. Sadly, this game offers no story mode... Q. How do you land in enemy hanger? A. You can land in the enemy hangar by flying your starship into a clear rectangular box in usually in the middle of the enemy main ship. Slowly approach the box, then when your inside the hangar, land it. Q. How many people can play Ad-Hoc at once? A. Up to 4 players can play at once Q. How many bots does this game use? A. 10 Bots per team, so maximum of 20 bots. Q. What are the medals and what do they do? A. Gunslinger - 6 Kills with a pistol in one life equips you with a Precision Pistol Demolition - 4 Rocket Launcher Critical Hits on a vehicle within one life rewards you with a Remote Rocket Launcher Technician - Slicing yourself into a vehicle will grant you a vehicle regeneration bonus Marksman - Score 6 headshots with your sniper rifle within one life and you'll unlock the beam rifle Regulator - The Flechette Shotgun is available to someone who earns 8 kills with a shotgun in one life Endurance - Earn 9 points in one life to unlock an energy regeneration bonus Guardian - After you've earned 24 points in one life you'll gain a damage reduction bonus War Hero - Earning 36 points on the battlefront within one life grants you an increased damage bonus Frenzy - 12 kills with a blaster rifle in one life will grant you access to the Elite Rifle Q. Which Space Maps are there? A. The two space maps in the PSP Version are: - Space Yavin (For Galactic Civil War) - Space Kashyyyk (For Clone Wars) Q. What are the rankings beside the medals? A. Green: Lets you earn the medal Vetern: Lets you earn and use the medal Elite: Lowers the requirement, and lets use earn and use the medal Legendary: The bonus never goes away, u can still earn the medal Q. What are the medal counts to get these levels? A. Green: 0 Vetern:4 Elite: 32 Legendary: 64 Q. How do i get promoted in RANKING? A. You get promoted in ranking by earning more medals. 25 Medals to Sergeant 100 Medals to Captain 300 Medals to General Q. What does the Rankings mean? i.e. Dead Eye, Bantha Fodder, etc. A.
