I love this game and like helping people so I made this walkthrough. I hope this is helpful to you. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night starts you out with Richter Belmont's attempt to defeat Dracula. Which this part is the conclusion of Dracula X. After Richter defeats Dracula he goes missing. Maria, who is a direct relative to Richter goes searching for him. She sees the home of Dracula rising up in the distant horizon and couragesly follows it. Castlevania, only to rise once but every 100 years graces it's presence before her. At the same time, Alucard awakens from his eternal sleep he began at the end of his adventure with Treavor Belmont (Castlevania 3.) Alucard, the offspring of Dracula and his mortal wife Lisa. He possess the power of his vampire father, while still maintaining his caring mortal side. Press R1 and you will be able to fly, makes some parts of the castle more available to you. ============== ECHO OF BAT ============== Press Triangle to use this ability, when you are in a dark area you can use it to gain knowledge of the surroundings. Main use is in the catacombs. ============== SOUL OF WOLF ============== Allows Alucard to turn into a Wolf. Press square to howl, attacks units if close enough. ============== SKILL OF WOLF ============== Allows the wolf to do a charge attack when you input the right combo. Part I Alucard ********************************************************************** * Introduction to Alucard (V) ********************************************************************** Alucard has many ways to defeat his enemies. He can swing your typical weapon, such as: Swords, daggers, clubs, two-handed swords and others. He can also be tactful by throwing shurikans. In addition to physical armaments, he can use magic to summon spells to aide him in his quest. If that's not all, he can command powerful allies to aide him, these are known as familiars. Among them is a sword that will be at Alucard's side and attack enemies as they get close. ********************************************************************** Alucard's Sub Weapons (VI) ********************************************************************** Alucard can have sub weapons or special weapons that can help in his journey, at the cost of hearts he can use power weapons such as: BOTTLE OF HOLY WATER: When thrown fire springs up in the place it lands, Causing damage. HOLY BOOK: Unleashing the holy words in these books causes damage to your Evil opponents. KNIFE: Use to attack enemies in front of you the knife is fast but not very Powerful. REBOUND STONE: A special stone that rebounds from the floor or walls when it Hits them. BIBUTI: The embodiment of holy ashes created by a saint. Damages any enemies That it touches. AXE: An effective weapon to throw at enemies if you want to cause damage from A distance. Very effective against flying enemies. CROSS: The most powerful Special weapon attacks all enemies on screen. CLOCK: Stops time for enemies. However, there are some enemies on which it has little or no effect. AGUNEA: Strikes enemies with sacred lightning. When it hits, you can continue the attacks by holding down the attack button until all your hearts are gone. (My personal favorite sub weapon is strong but takes a lot of hearts) ********************************************************************** * Alucard's familiars (VII) ********************************************************************** Alucard has 5 familiars they are: the faerie, the ghost, the demon, the sword, and the bat. They all have their strengths and weaknesses and uses. It is always beneficial to have one with you at all times. The Faerie can heal you with potions without you equipping one and using it. In addition the Faerie can spot some breakable walls which lead to secret parts of the castle. Beware that she doesn't spot ALL of them. The Demon can hit switches in one part of the castle, when leveled up he learns elemental attacks to his arsenal. The bat brings additional bats when you yourself turn into a bat. The Higher the level the more bats he brings along. When you use your fire ability of the bat the additional bats will fire as well. The Ghost attaches onto enemies and deals damage by way of sucking life out of them. Higher up in levels he is able to heal you when he deals damage every time. Lastly is the Sword, at first he is incredibly oblivious and stupid to everything (for the most part all familiar are like this). As he progresses he gets more useful and on top of that he gets cool addons to his sword. He starts to get more embellished with addons and it makes him look cooler than he just was. He also starts to fly around the room at mach speed and kill most things before you even get your hands on them to attack them. When the sword reaches level 50 Alucard is able to equip the sword and use it, instead of the sword being a familiar. Of course you can't equip the sword and use it as a familiar, it's great sword to equip. ********************************************************************** * Alucard's special moves (VIII) ********************************************************************** Alucard has special magic moves. The spells are very useful when in need of help. **************** Key: U: up D: down L: left R: right RL: combination so you do right left or most times right down in order to do a Certain spell. I suggest that you do not buy them. that is completely a waste of money, all you have to do is input the combo once and the spell will be remembered. **** Before we get to the walkthrough if you are here to jump to a section that you have already been to and remember the name of the section you don't have to fruitlessly search the document. I have a list of the name and exactly how they are spelled and all you do is use ctrl + F or apple + F for Mac OSX. Hope you have fun playing my favorite game of all time!!! ====================================================================== WALKTHROUGH OF FIRST CASTLE (IX) ====================================================================== You start out the game as Richter Belmont and fight Dracula. There is no way for you to die, but if you can defeat Dracula without being hit once or obtaining any sub weapon you will start out with better stats with Alucard. ====================================================================== THE BEGINNING SUGGESTED LEVEL: 1 ITEMS: pot roast, turkey, short sword, red rust, cube of Zoe ====================================================================== Once you have beaten Dracula you will be in control of Alucard. You should be in the courtyard, there is a Warg in front of you. Use the square button to attack him. Then move into the next room. You should be in a dark room where there are two more Wargs, after the second, zombies will come from the ground. Then you should see 2 more Wargs. You will then find yourself in a big room with bats at the top. Jump to the next platform where there are lots of rocks and attack the front to get a POT ROAST. If you go down you will see lots of mermen. I would train here until level 8. Don't go in the water it will drain you of Hit Points. Once you have gotten to level 8 you might be low on hip points, but if you want you can use the pot roast to recover hit points. There is a save point little ways off, so if you're in good shape don't worry about it. Continue to the next room to find 3 Warg's just hit them once to kill them. Before leaving the room break the stairs with your weapon and a turkey will be hidden in the stairs. Just as if you were playing the originals!! Then you should encounter Death who talks to you, he will then take your weapons. Good thing you trained with the great equipment!! Then when you have talked with Death go to the next room and jump on the platforms to ascend up. Then jump over the gap and into the next room. You will see a Bone Scimitar he will drop a short sword, equip the sword. Then go into the room to the bottom left of the bone scimitar and you will find that it is blocked off (for now), then go back and go up and kill the skeleton; it will give you a Red Rust. Do not equip the red rust it is weaker and can poison you after you use it several times. Next, go in the room to the left of the skeleton and save your game. Then go up and get the Cube of Zoe, now you can get items from candles. Then go through the door on the left and you will be in the Alchemy Laboratory. ====================================================================== ALCHEMY LABORATORY SUGGESTED LEVEL:3-8 ITEMS: Hide cuirasses, leather shield, resist thunder, cloth cape, sunglasses, Basilard, potion. ====================================================================== When you get into the laboratory you should see 3 types of skeletons; bone scimitar, blood skeleton and a throwing skeleton. Hit the Scimitar twice to kill it then get the hide Cuirass by activating the switch on the ground and hitting the glass. You should then see more skeletons and a save room by the first blood skeleton. Go up and past the other skeleton to find a knight. Then go down by pressing X. Then hit the table to get a leather shield, equip the shield, on the other hand, you can now use your sword and shield. Now go to the next room to find the knife sub weapon in a candle on top of the platform. Then go to the wall on the left and hit it 3 times, it should break. You will get a heart max up. Go down below the platform and attack the center to break the ground. You should get the life max up, now leave the room. Continue going up and to the next room, to find another skeleton. Hit the glass to get a resist thunder. Continue going up and to the next room, to find a spittle skeleton which when touched by the liquid, you will be poisoned. You then should notice spikes around a square box. On each side of the spikes is a switch, walk on both to switch them down. Since they are now all down, you can walk next to the box and walk forward to the right to move it. Do so until it's over the spike. Stop, pushing and jump over the box to the right and activate the switch. The box is now raised, allowing you to now jump to the platform where the Spittle Skeletons just were. You will find the cloth cape equip it. Now go back and continue going left. This next room is bigger than the previous. You will only be able to go down and up, then you will see a save room to the left. Continue your ascent after saving. Now, if you hit the candle at the top of the tower, an ax sub weapon will drop. The knife or ax will be helpful for this upcoming boss battle that is in the next room. ______________________________________________________________________ | BOSS BATTLE 200 HP EACH | | SLOGRA & GAIBON (he flies) | | | |_____________________________________________________________________ Slogra and Gaibon, Gaibon being the one that flies. They attack separately but on occasion, Gaibon will pick up Slogra and try to drop him on you. Avoid this by back dashing (triangle button). When Gaibon is lower than 100 HP he will turn red and will then proceed to be more aggressive and shoot bigger fireballs at you. Unfortunately, your shield will not protect you from these so just dodge the fireballs. The big ones you can just duck and they will not hit you. Use every moment you can to hit the both of them. The axe is very useful in hitting both of them with one use of the axe. ______________________________________________________________________ After defeating them, proceed to the next room to find more skeletons and a bloody zombie. Now, go in the room that is to the right, across from the bloody zombie. Go down the elevator to get the sunglasses, I suggest you don't equip them. Then down and hit the cannon to get the Basilard, now you need to back track. Once you have gotten back, now go save in the room to the right. Go up and to the next room to be in a hallway with bloody zombies. Then you will be in a big room. Jump down and try moving to the left to avoid being hit by the knight. Hit the glass to get a potion. The other side has a knight, after that, explore the room then go through the door to be in the Marble Gallery. ====================================================================== MARBLE GALLERY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 8 ITEMS: Hammer, strength potion, spirit orb, shield potion ====================================================================== When you walk past the door you will find 3 knights in your way. Then you will find another knight, jump down and to your right is a save. Go down to the next room to find a Slinger, block then hit it, then you should meet a Marionette then continue to the left to find a spirit orb. Now you can see how much damage you take out. Now go to the next room. Just jump down in the middle (if you hit the candles you will receive all hearts except one money bag), then you should be in a room with a red background. You will encounter a Plate Lord, use your sub weapon and some spells to kill him. Since he has more life than the skeletons you've encountered. You will then find 3 Skelerang which throw Boomerangs. Then you will encounter Ghosts, they respawn and everywhere (So just run through, don't stay around that area). In the candles is a knife sub weapon, if you prefer that one. Then go left and towards where the candles are. You will encounter a Ctulhu. Then go through the door to get a shield potion. You have gone in a circle. Now go back into the room you just came from and bypass all the enemies. Then once you have gotten back to where the save room was, the next thing to do is to go up and continue going right, you should be in an area with clocks in the background, and then you should see a cut scene involving Maria. After you have talked to her continue to the next room. Then you will come to where you can choose 3 ways just continue going right and you will be in a long hallway containing 2 Red Roses and 3 Diplomatesus things. Then get the ax sub weapon in the candle at the end of the hallway. Then when you have gotten the ax go through the door. And now you are in the Outer Wall. ====================================================================== OUTER WALL SUGGESTED LEVEL: 9 ITEMS: Zircon, pot roast, jewel knuckle, Mirror cuirass, gladius, soul of wolf ====================================================================== Once you have gotten through the door break the vase to the right of you to get a Zircon, and then go down. Kill the armor lord, he will take a little effort (the axes help). Then go in the room and destroy the wall to get a pot roast. Then stay under the wall for about 10 seconds and an elevator will come down. Then you get the jewel knuckle and the mirror cuirass. Equip the mirror cuirass and if you want you the jewel knuckle. If you do equip it you will lose your range that a sword has that the jewel knuckle does not have. Now go back to the elevator. Then go down and get the map coverage of this area. Afterwards, head up and then left into a room to find an axe knight, then go save when you are done with this room. Then go up to a boss battle. ______________________________________________________________________ | BOSS BATTLE 120 HP EACH | | DOPPLEGANGER10 | | | |_____________________________________________________________________ My strategy is to keep your shield out and hit him with your ax sub weapon, and then if you run out of hearts use your sword. You have to be careful, when you get close to him he will swing his sword at you. He can really penalize you if you are really careless. At the same time, the clock sub weapon will totally freeze him and give you free access of dealing massive if not lethal damage to him. If you want an easy battle the use of the watch sub weapon is the way to go. ______________________________________________________________________ Then after he is dead go on and you will get the sword called gladius. After this room, you will return to the outer wall, before you are a fancy vase. It's tricky to get right now, but get close to the edge without falling and can jump across, you will get a life max up. If not you'll have to wait until you can more mobility from another relic. Then go up and you will encounter a skeleton, skeleton ape, spear guard, ax knight, skeleton, and archer and bone musket. All on your ascent up the tower. You will see a door go in and where the key hole is press up and you will teleport to the entrance area. Get the heart max up and then come back. Then go up and fight a sword lord, then go up and to the left to find a switch hit it 3 times and the elevator should be activated. Then go to the elevator and get the soul of the wolf then go all the way to the top where a save is. Then go as the wolf by the vase where you activated the elevator and get a heart max up. Then go to the elevator and go down once then go through the door that on the left. You will now be able to check out a book at the library!!! ====================================================================== LONG LIBRARY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 11 ITEMS: uncurse X2 (respawn), Bronze cuirass, Faerie scroll, jewel of open (BUY), Saber, leather hat (PURCHASE LAST 2 ITEMS), ====================================================================== When you get here you should see 3 Dhuron hit them 3 times each. Then go into the room to the left. You should find a Dhuron and lots of fleaman. Then a room with just fleaman, you will now be under the Librarian. Next get the Bronze Cuirass then head back and go up. You should see another enemy called Ectoplasm, do not get touched by it or you will be cursed (when you are cursed you cannot attack or use spells an uncurse will relieve that.) Then you will meet the spell book which will be hidden until you come close, then you will encounter a thorn weed duck down and press the down and left/right button to attack diagonally. You will have the decision of choosing up or continue left. Choose up, then you will be at a dead end and 3 magic tomes will come out and attack you. Once you have defeated them get the faerie scroll and you now can see the names of the enemies. Now go left and at the end of the room, you should meet the master Librarian. When you get to the Librarian you'll see a cut scene. Then walk to him and a menu will pop up choose the sell gem and sell your 1 or 2 Zircons and go buy: Jewel of Open, Castle map and if you have enough money buy a saber & leather hat, I suggest you buy the saber first. The Jewel of Open is a must and the Castle map is a trivial amount of money. The saber will give you added damage, the leather hat will be an improvement but not much. Then equip those items then leave the Library. Now, we'll need to backtrack. Leave the library and go to the elevator. Go down one more time then leave the outer wall to go back to the marble gallery. You'll go past the long hallway that had the Red Rose. Where we need to get to is the room right after the long hallway. If you keep moving to the left you will be able to jump to the right and you will have to go through the green door and jump on the platform and it will activate that violet platforms and you can go through. The Jewel of Open is what allows us to go through the green doors. There is only one other door that this relic is used for. The switch we just jumped on, opens those two violet trap doors that are on the ground in this close area. Now go back to the one that you passed to get here and you should get a Library Card & an attack potion. Then go back further in the Marble Gallery and another one should be there and you will be at a door and you should be in the underground caverns. If you are lost look at your map and look for where the map leads you down. ====================================================================== UNDERGROUND CAVERNS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 13 ITEMS: Library card, attack potion (found in the other red passage), Bandanna, Shiitake X4, Pot roast, crystal cloak, Scimitar, resist ice, toadstool, pentagram, Merman Statue (relic) ====================================================================== The underground caverns are pretty big. You will first see a spear guard pretty much the rest of this tower. Just keep going down until you get to where you see two rooms, first the room on the right is a save and then go to the room on the left. Once in the room jump over the hole and go to the other room to get a heart max up. Next, break the wall to the left to get a Bandanna. Then go back to where the save room is and go down the hole, then keep going down the hole until you get to where you can see a room to the left. Go in and go up until you get a life max up. Then leave this room and go back to the main tower. Now, there are two ways to descend the tower, this was one way. Go down all the way, you can tell you're there when you see blue underground cavern feel. I then will need you to go back up the tower. Where I want you to back track to, is where the save room was where the spear guards were. Then go down, try to land by the torch to get 400$. Then jump down and be in the middle and you will land on a platform at the bottom. There's a save on the right. Afterward go down and to the room on the right, you should be facing the Scylla Wyrm. Easy boss. Continue and you will have to be quick to get past the rising water. Then go to the right and break the vase to get a Pot roast then walk to the left and you will be fighting the Scylla. ______________________________________________________________________ | BOSS BATTLE 200 HP | SCYLLA |_____________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ First if you have the holy water sub weapon you are going to win fast but if not you'll just have to take longer. In order to deal damage to the Scylla you have to hit where the female is. If you had the holy water you just press up square or circle and it will take about 1/2 of the damage so you will just have to hack and dodge the snake head and water skulls to beat the Scylla. ______________________________________________________________________ Then once you have defeated her go into the next room and get the crystal cloak. Then go back and don't forget to get the Scimitar. Where you fought the Scylla wyrm, the area below the save there is a secret passage. Hit the ice on the far left side and a passage should open; when you get there you shouldn't be able to go any further (for now.) Then go back up and go left and go push the box to the left and the guys will drown. Next go across and avoid the water, then you will come to a bridge with a whole bunch of frogs. The next room you will see a pentagram you can't get it yet because you will die to try to get it. Then you will see a waterfall jump down and stay on the left to get a shiitake. Then go past the water fall and go get a life max up. You should then see the ferryman ( the guy in the boat), jump on the boat and he will lead you to the merman statue. Now go back and go in an upward direction and then go through the door on the left and you will be in the beginning (Again). ====================================================================== ALCHEMIST LABORATORY AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 15 ITEMS: NONE ====================================================================== Go back to where you fought Slogra & Gaibon except go to the room that was to the left of where Slogra & Gaibon's room was. ====================================================================== ROYAL CHAPEL SUGGESTED LEVEL: 15 ITEMS: Aquamarine, goggles, knight shield, strength potion, Silver plate, zircon, potion & cutlass ====================================================================== Once you get here go left and you will be to a save point. Now jump up on the statue and jump left and hit a vase to get an aquamarine. Now ascend the stairs and you will find a corner guard and Bone Pillar. When you find the one with a spike ball; just hit it and the ball should come down. Move down the stairs to give you some space, once it gets close to you, jump and it will miss you. It deals a lot of damage if it hits you. Then you should be in a long room, continue onto the next room which contains a spectral sword which has many small swords. Next, go up to the left and then jump the platforms to get the goggles. Now head to the bottom right and through the door to get a knight shield. Then go back and then up and you will be in one of the biggest rooms in this castle. The room on the right is where a confession is. You can sit in the chair by pressing up and one of the guys might try to hit you. You can have lots of fun with this room. Then go up and you will find some Skelerangs. Then you will need to ascend up the tower in a sort of zig zag motion. Then when you get up into a more narrow part of the tower you will need to jump to the left side, then get over to the right. Then when you get to a platform you will see a hunting girl and a blue raven. Jump on the two bells and you will find a life max up, Strength potion and a silver plate. Then go to the room on the right which is a hallway containing bats and a bone halberd. You will be in another room like the one before, do the same thing with the other one with items at the top. Then go down the hallway where the same two were the last hallway. HIPPOGRYPH ______________________________________________________________________ When you enter the room you will be fighting the Hippogryph, which my strategy is hit it a couple of times and dodge its attacks. The Hippogryph usually just flys around awhile then lands. That is when you can throw punches at it before it flys off again. If it starts to blow fire get close & duck and slash away. Really simple battle, shouldn't have problems. ______________________________________________________________________ Then after Maria will talk to you. Then go down the hallway and go to the room to the right to a save. Then go up to find a potion & Cutlass then go through the door to be in the castle keep. ====================================================================== CASTLE KEEP SUGGESTED LEVEL: 17 ITEMS: Tyrfing, leap stone, turquoise, turkey ====================================================================== Once you are through the doors it doesn't say "Castle Keep" until you get to the other end. Then go down the hallway with 4 ax knights. Then jump on the far platform to get to the room on the right, to get a Tyrfing. Then go to the room on the left. And keep going left and you will find the leap stone next get the turquoise then hit the stone next to the turquoise to get a turkey that is hidden in the wall behind the turquoise. Then go back and go into the room where the moving platforms are. And there should be another teleporter, teleport to the Horse teleport and save at the save that is right by the teleporter. ====================================================================== THE BEGINNING AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 17 ITEMS: None ====================================================================== You are now back in the beginning again. Not for long though. Go up to where you got the cube of zoe, cross the path and head through the door. To be in the Marble Gallery again. ====================================================================== MARBLE GALLERY AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 17 ITEMS: Alucart equipment, heart & life max ====================================================================== Just go to the clock area where you met Maria. And when you get there use the watch and the statue on the right should open go in there to get the Alucart shield, sword & mail, and heart & life max up. Then you will have to wait for the other statue in order to go up. ====================================================================== OLROX'S QUARTERS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 17 ITEMS: Cheese, onyx, Broadsword ====================================================================== When you get to Orlox's Quarters go up and to the next room. Then you will see a poltergeist with loads of weapons orbiting the sword. Just go to the right and break the wall there. You will find cheese, onyx, Broadsword. Then go to the room at the top right of the last room. In this room, you will see a hammer & Blade. They are a little harder to beat You'll have to kill them quickly because you have to hit them, then back dash before they hit you. Have to kill them before they corner you into the door and knock you out forcing you to do this all over again. Then you will be by a door that leads to another teleporter. You're basically here, so you can come back by means of the teleporter. You can go up through that passage yet. Then go back a couple rooms to where the poltergeist is. Once in the room, go to the left and you will see a door there. It leads to the Colosseum. ====================================================================== COLOSSEUM SUGGESTED LEVEL: 17 ITEMS: Library card, Shield rod, Green tea, form of mist, Blood cloak ====================================================================== You should now be in the Colosseum. There is a save that is down further, you should see an area to jump down. The save is on the right as you jump down. This area is mirrored, in means of the save rooms. There is one directly across from here. Now go back up and to the left to find 2 blade Soldiers, then go up. You will then find Blade Soldiers and Blade Masters. Hit the top by the Pillar, debris should fall hit. Hit 3 times and a hole will be there. Gravity jump or use the bat to get there. In the room, you will receive the holy sword, it is a pretty good sword. After this room, you should be in a room where you can go left and to a boss fight, or left to go down further. Go right and get the Library card and go back to the left. Then activate the switch and hit the torch to get the Agunei sub weapon, then go down to find a save. Next, go to the room below and find those bone musket enemies. Block with your shield and hit the sword lord with Agunei or Holy Water. Then kill the others and watch out for the bone muskets. This would be an easier room if it wasn't for the bone muskets, you barely get in the room and then you get shot and Alucard jumps back and out of the room. Does makes sense, the shield rod is a very powerful item when combined with other items. At the end of the room is a Shield Rod. This weapon has special abilities with Shields. How you do it, is by having a shield equipped in one hand, then the rod in the other. Hold the shield out, then press the button with the rod a few times and you will get an animation and status buff depending on the shield that you equip. Then go to the save because you might be low on hp, would be good to save. Then go down to find an owl knight and your friend the plate lord. The Owl Knight is similar to the other knights, he just has a companion that will attack you. At the same time, if you attack and dispatch the owl, he will be temporarily occupied grieving the owl. Making him vulnerable. Then to find another knight. Go to the other room to find a grave keeper and green tea. Up and left to fight an armor lord, then go right to fight an ax knight. This next room is a pain. It's a crowded room and lots of enemies. The knights on horses will hit you and you will be knocked back and out of the room, thus thwarting your progress. If you can get by, it is what connects this side of the Colosseum to the other. If not, just go around the way you came. Then drop down the hole where you saved when you got here. Once you get to the other side, there is one room on the left side, and another on the right. The Blood Cloak is on the left and the room on the right has multiple sub weapons. For the boss fight in this area, I would keep the Agueni or use the ax or holy water. You will encounter a Paranthropus and Bone Scimitars. Now, you look at your map, you will notice that there is a room that is above the annoying room. That is where the boss battle is. You can only get there by going around or through the annoying room again. The Blood cloak can be helpful since the sub weapon will come in handy. It will replenish your hearts on how much damage you have taken. Can be helpful if you are low on life. MINOTAUR & WEREWOLF ______________________________________________________________________ You will start off with Richter talking to you then the ox and werewolf will show up. The Minotaur and Werewolf have good synergy between the two. They use each other in combination, be careful. You don't expect them to come at you until they do. The werewolf is the nimble one, he will try to slide tackle you. The Minotaur will swing his ax at you, and also rush attack you. He's very big and takes up a lot of room, so you have to double jump over him, to miss him. These enemies are really quick, so don't get carried away hacking. You'll get punished if you do. ______________________________________________________________________ Grab the life max up and enter the next room to activate the elevator and get the form of mist. You can now exit the Colosseum. Our next destination is the library. ====================================================================== ORLOX'S QUARTERS AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 19 ITEMS: NONE ====================================================================== Just go to the teleporter past the poltergeist and go to the scorpion to get to the outer wall. ====================================================================== OUTER WALL SUGGESTED LEVEL: 19 ITEMS: Garnet ====================================================================== When you go to the outer wall go back to where you fought the Doppleganger10 to get a Garnet that is in the vase where you'll need the double jump to get it. Then head to the Library again. ====================================================================== RE - ENTER THE LONG LIBRARY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 19 ITEMS: Topaz circlet, holy rod, takemutsu, onyx, Frank further, Antivenom, Soul of Bat, potion, faerie card, Gravity boots, life apple, Hammer, potion, power of wolf, Bat card, skill of wolf ====================================================================== Once you have gotten to the Long Library, go all the way through and the point where you would go down the stairs that would lead you to the librarian you will double jump when you are halfway there and kill the corpse weed, then go in the room to find a save. Now that you have saved go through the door and into where several flea armors and Dhuron's are. Once through there will be a big room where several flea armors are. go left and kill all the flea armors and make you way to the top right of the room. Once you are in the room hit the candle and you will get a stone mask, once you get that the bookshelves move, so keep walking by them and Alucard will move them. you will receive the holy rod and the topaz circlet. The Holy Rod is stronger than the Saber so equip it and the Holy Rod has a special ability that when you press down right/left then right/left it will have a bigger range and stronger attack (usually). Then exit the room and go down and you will fight the Lesser Demon. LESSER DEMON ______________________________________________________________________ When you get to him all you need to do is just jump and attack him. But first wait until he summons a Mud man. Because you will never see the Mud man again. In otherwords, don't kill him until he spawns. He's a very simple boss, he will fly around and summon different easy enemies. Jump and hack at him, he is invulnerable when he summons the monsters. Not much to it. ______________________________________________________________________ Then you will continue on and get the clock sub weapon and the items Takemitsu, onyx & Frankfurther. You will see a cage jump near, then hit L1 to turn into the mist. It helps to press the right button on the D - Pad while turning into the mist so you can make sure to phase through the cage. Then you will get the Soul of Bat relic, so now you can turn into the bat with R1. Look at your map. Find the sections in the Library that are blacked squares. To get to those places you will just have to turn into the bat and go up with the bat, to find: Antivenom, potion & Faerie card. Now activate the Faerie card and the Faerie will help you with potions and status changing potions. To get the map coverage that is at the top of the map, you will have to turn into the bat and hug the top of the screen to get that map coverage. Now leave the library and go back to the Outer Wall. ====================================================================== OUTER WALL ONCE AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 20 ITEMS: NONE ====================================================================== Go to the Marble gallery. ====================================================================== RUNNING SOME ERRANDS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 20 ITEMS: Life apple, hammer, potion, Life Max up, Power of Wolf (Relic), ====================================================================== Now go back to where you first meet Maria, which is also where we got the Alucart equipment. Once there, you will be able to go up through the center. Like we did with the statues that were on the left and right.We'll use the bat to fly to the top center of the room. Once at the top, go right to get the Gravity Boots. Then left to get: Life apple, hammer & potion. Next thing for us to do, because we're done here is to go to the entrance of the Castle. When you get there you will see an owl knight. We need to get some items on the top of this room. Use the Gravity jump or the bat to accomplish that. You will find a life max up and power of wolf relic. Next errand to run is to go to where you fought Slogra & Gaibon. In that room, there were parts of it, you couldn't get to. Now you can, so we are going to go there next. As you travel there if you recall. You got the leather shield out of some chemistry table (don't know what else to call it) above that, there is an opening for you to fly through either with the bat or the boots. And you will see different sub weapons in glass cases and you will get the Skill of Wolf. When you get to Slogra & Gaibon's room, turn into the bat or gravity jump, to the top right of the room. Get the map coverage there and the Bat card. Now, we are done running errands. I need you to get to the nearest teleporter and go to Orlox's quarters again. You can either run back to the teleporter in the beginning or just travel there, you're kind of in the middle so it really doesn't matter. ====================================================================== ORLOX'S QUARTERS AGAIN(2) SUGGESTED LEVEL: 20 ITEMS: Manna prism, resist fire, luck potion, estoc, Garnet, Sword Card, echo of bat, ====================================================================== When you get to Orlox's quarters go to the teleporter. Which as you remember where the spectral sword was it will be through the door on the right. When you get to the teleporter, don't go in. As you've probably noticed, there is a shaft that is just above your head. You can now get up there, by turning the bat and flying up there or using your gravity boots. I suggest using the bat since we need to get some items on the way up. On the left side of the shaft you will find these items in vases: manna prism, resist fire and a luck potion. As you arrive at the top, we will need to make move to the left. Along the way you will encounter bloody zombies and in a vase at the end will be an estoc. If you like two handed weapons it's pretty good for the time being. Now, you are in a really big room. There are four doors in this particular room. I want you to get the map coverage of this room, the only enemies are the Valhalla knights at the bottom. On the right side of the room is two doors. The top room of the two is a save. The one below it is a hallway in which you find a garnet. The bottom left on the ground is where you will find a hallway. Go through the hallway before it changes the background. You will find a candle holder below the ceiling. Right above the candle holder is a breakable ceiling. Once the ceiling is broken, go up through it and you will receive the Sword Card. Get out of this room, the hallway you were just in, keep going to the left,you'll get to a dead end with two statues. Crouch down and hit the smaller one. It will then fall down and you can now travel between here and the Royal Chapel. Now go back to the big room where the Valhalla Knights are. Now to go to the room that is on the top left of the big room. As you go down the hallway there is an iron ball and a small space that you have to move through. To do so you can fly through as the bat or jump through as the wolf. You will now be in a boss fight. ORLOX ______________________________________________________________________ Orlox is a magician and will shoot fire balls, call skeletons and have a big explosion on most of the screen. When you enter the room he will be sitting. Now, you could be a gentleman and let him get to his feet, or just go ahead and start the battle and hit him with your weapon. In his magician state, he will teleport and move around the room. He will not physically walk yet. Then when 4 big explosions come, go to the end of the middle and dodge his blue fire balls. Soul steal is very powerful in most boss battles. Continue attacking him and dodging his attacks and you should defeat his first form. His second form which you have to use your shield to block his fireballs, so use the broadsword and knight shield. His main form of attacks is an interesting one. You will hear this sound and he will shoot a laser from his face depending on where you are. Once he does this where the laser hit it will explode up and you will take significant damage. You have to move away or high enough to avoid the splash damage. Another attack he will use is rapidly spitting fireballs. This is where the shield comes into play. As the battle progresses, he will shoot faster fireballs. The second form will take more time than the first form. ______________________________________________________________________ After the battle, go to the room in the top left to get the echo of bat relic. Now you are done here so go save at the save and teleport to the outer wall. Then go up and the first door you see go through it. You will now be in the clock tower. ====================================================================== CLOCK TOWER SUGGESTED LEVEL: 24 ITEMS: Shaman shield, ice mail, bekatou, pentagram, magic missile, TNT, Bwaka knife, shuriken, healing mail ====================================================================== When you first get here go left then turn into the bat and go up to get the fire of bat relic, now by pressing the square button while in the form of the bat you can shoot fireballs. Now we need to get the map coverage in this room. You can fly around as the bat and get the upper parts of the room. The bottom you will encounter the Lord Skeleton which is a huge floating skeleton head, an easy enemy. Plus you will find a few flail guards which can be annoying if you don't get rid of them quickly. They are easy to kill once you get close enough to hit them. Once you have explored you should have picked up some items, then go through the bottom door. To find Medusa heads flying everywhere so dodge them and go to the next room. Then in the next room, you will see gears. Attack them until they click. Then hit the other two on the other side, then go to the room at the bottom and get Gold plate, star flail, and steel helm. Then go up and the faerie should say the wall to the right is funny. So break it. You don't need to have the faerie in order to break it. You will find the annoying fleaman again then you should find a cloaked knight then heart & life max ups to the left and right. Then back track out of these rooms. Once you are back, go through the door on the left. You will be in a place with a 2-3 sword lord guys so just explore and don't leave yet. Then go to the far left and you should be able to destroy the wall and get the healing mail. At the top left of this room, you will see swinging objects that you can jump onto. You can walk the long way to get there, or just turn into the bat and fly up, but you might as well get the map coverage now. Then you will be in a room with items that are in the wall break the walls down. In the walls, you should get a TNT, Bwaka knife and a shuriken. At the end of the hallway is a door that leads to the boss. KARUSUMAN ______________________________________________________________________ This guy is one of the easiest bosses just hit him and dodge and you should win. The Karusuman is a big joke you just keep hitting him and he keeps moving back, allowing you to keep hitting him again. Not a hard boss. His main attack is calling forth bats and aiming them towards you. ______________________________________________________________________ Then you should be in the castle keep. ====================================================================== CASTLE KEEP AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 24 ITEMS: Falchion, life max up X2, heart max up X2, ghost card, power of mist, fire mail, holy symbol ====================================================================== When you get through the door get on the platform and go up and go into the room to the right to save. Once you have saved go up and to your right, you will get the Falchion. Now go left into the big room and go up on the way until you see a room to your right. You will get: 2 life max ups, 2 heart max ups and you will get the ghost card. When you see the red carpet, it will lead you to Richter and initiate the fight sequence. We are not ready to fight Richter at this point. Underneath the area where the broken staircase is, there is an area that you will find the power of mist relic. You will need to use the bat in order to fly there. You have to be careful because of the fleamen who ride birds will get in your way and the bat is very weak in the fighting department. You'll have to dodge them for the most part. Keep going left and you should a little ground that you can change out of the bat, you should then find the relic. Now, break the wall to find the fire mail. Now we are all done here in the Castle Keep. I want you to use the teleporter, and travel to the beginning again. Then go back to the room where all the mermen were. You will pass the room where Death took your equipment. ====================================================================== THE BEGINNING AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 24 ITEMS: Life apple, Jewel Sword, Holy Mail ====================================================================== Now listen, up here is a secret I am going to tell you about. First, go to where that huge part of rocks and go to the left side. Then turn into the wolf and run through it, now turn into the bat and go back through. On the bottom left there should be a passage that opened up. You will find a Life apple & Jewel sword. Now leave that room, go to where the bats are in the big room and go up. Then you will find two enemies that are similar to hammer and knife. They are actually pretty hard because they run at you and knock you back. In the next room, you will find 2 more rooms. Room at the top left is where the holy mail is. Then leave this room and go to the other room. We are all done here, now go to the underground caverns and I want you to go to the top of the waterfall. The easiest way to get to the where we need to go next is the room that is on the bottom right where the mermen are, which is a few rooms away from where you currently are. Once back in the Underground Caverns, go to your right until you get to where the waterfall is. Get to the top of the waterfall, once at the top. You haven't been in the room to the top left of the waterfall. Go into it. Once you are in the room, push the switch on the left by moving Alucard against it. You should see a message and a skeleton ape throwing an explosive barrel. Now go past the top of the waterfall and into the next room, where you will encounter toads and frogs. You should encounter another Skeleton ape, before seeing the wooden bridge. Now, we need the Skelton Ape to throw his barrel at the bridge to break it. You have gotten rid of him, so you need to exit the room on your right and reenter. This part is crucial you need to walk a little slow and kill the frogs (that means toads too) and wait for the skeleton ape. Then when you are close have it follow you without him throwing the explosive. Once you get close enough to the wooden floor have him throw it without hitting you. Once you have done that get the life max up and heart max up. This path below us, takes us to the Abandoned Mine part of the castle, but we have a few things left here, we need to take care of. Now go back to the save that is close to where you fought the Scylla wurm. When you get there you should have a hole in the left of the door where you fought the Scylla wurm. You should have the ferryman there because you have the merman statue. Now just stay on there until you go to the end and you will get the Holy symbol. You'll have to dodge a few bats but, should be no problem getting to the Holy symbol. Now that you have the holy symbol you now don't have to fear water anymore. When you check your map, you should see a few places in the underground Caverns where there is gray area, that is probably because there is water in those parts and you couldn't get there before. Now you can, there are some items in those parts that you might like. Now go explore all the areas in the cavern with the holy symbol you just attained. You should have gotten: Elixir, onyx, 2 life max ups. knuckle duster, Nunchaku, Antivenom, pentagram, Herald shield, secret boots,toadstool. We are all done here, should have the Underground Caverns all completed. Now to go back to where we just destroyed the bridge to enter the Abandoned Mine. ====================================================================== ABANDONED MINE SUGGESTED LEVEL: 24 ITEMS: shiitake x2, demon card, ring of Ares, turkey, peanuts X4, barley tea, power of sire, Karma coin, combat knife ====================================================================== Once you are here jump down to the way bottom and to the room to the right, to a save. Don't change the holy water for Agunei. Now go through the doorway, where you will find a lot of candles, step through to the next room to fight Cerberus. ________________________________CERBERUS______________________________ Okay, here is the strategy, go on the platforms and stay there till he looks up. If he does that, it means he is going to aim and shoot at you. You then jump down and start hacking. If you keep repeating that you should very easily win. If you are on the ground and level with him, it's very difficult to be able to get close and hit Cerberus. ______________________________________________________________________ Then go on to the next room and go down. Then go to your left and use your herald shield to block the fire. At the end, will be a Demon card. Now activate the familiar and go back up where you saw a little switch. Which is right after the door where you fought Cerberus. And the Demon should activate the switch. And now go through the door and you will see a whole bunch of thorn weed. Drop down, you will get the ring of Ares. Now go hit the wall to the left to get: Turkey, peanuts X4, barley tea & power of sire. If I were you I would not use the power of sire(s) yet until you have bought the Duplicator. You only find so much in the castle, can't buy them. Now, leave this area and go back to where the switch is, go further down to where the demon card was except go to the right to find a teleporter. Go into the room to get the teleporter on the map, then go back to the left and drop down. When you drop down, go to the left to get a Karma coin & combat knife. Then go to the right and go through the door to the catacombs. ====================================================================== CATACOMBS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 25 ITEMS: Bloodstone, cat-eye-circlet, walk armor & Spiker Breaker Armor ====================================================================== Once you get here go to the door on your left and skip the save. You should get a blood stone and a cat-eye-circlet when you break down the wall behind the blood stone. Now go back to save. Then head right and you should meet were skeletons and a bone ark before you get to the door. You will then be in a big room with Gremlins, just go to the left. Now hit the coffins and blood skeletons will be in them. Next room you will get a heart & life max up. Room after you will fight a Grave keeper & hellfire beast. The hellfire beast will be harder than the grave keeper, but the hellfire beast will shoot elemental attacks at you. If you have defeated the grave keepers you can just duck and avoid the attacks. Room after the hellfire beast you will be in a room with Lossoths. Shortly after the Lossoths, there will be a Discuss Lord. He can punish you pretty badly if you are not careful. He's pretty slow, hack away when he's not doing anything. Then when he prepares to attack run back, he will throw his discus and take a good chunk out of your hit points. Continue this and he'll be done. Go up to where you just defeated the Discus Lord and you will find the Ballroom mask, heart max up & ice brand. The Icebrand is a cool weapon. It attacks like a normal sword but has an added effect when you attack enemies, it will chill them temporarily. In addition, depending on your position on whether you are facing left or right. If you are facing right, press Down + DownRight + Right then square or circle depending on what hand the ice brand is equipped. Do the opposite if you're on the left, Down + DownLeft + Left. In the next room to the left, you are in another room with Lossoths. Now go left and you will be in the next room, go up and to the right to a save, don't save yet go through and get the ultimate armor (right now it isn't) the walk armor. You don't need to change your armor anymore because each part of the castle you discover the armor gets stronger. Now go to the next room to fight the Granfaloon. __________________________________GRANFALOON__________________________ The Granfaloon, is a pretty straightforward boss, like a lot of the bosses in this game. The Granfaloon is protected by a shell of bodies. That will drop down from the Granfaloon, walking slowly towards you. Once slice from your weapon will be enough to get rid of them. You will spend a lot of time jumping up and slicing several times. When you have hit one part enough times it will fall off, exposing the center of the Granfaloon. Then you have to start focusing on another part of the Granfaloon to have another section fall off. Once enough is exposed you can attack the center, the center is the part that you can deal lethal damage to it. When more is exposed, its tendrils will sporatically shoot a laser beam, and will take good damage out of you if hit. Keep hitting the center and you will have defeated the Granfaloon. ______________________________________________________________________ Afterward, you'll get the standard life max up after the battle. Leave the room through the bottom left, you should receive a mormegil. It has the same attack value as the ice brand, I would just stick with the ice brand. We are now done with this side of the Catacombs. We'll need to backtrack to the big room where you saw the Gremlins. The ones who fly around leaving behind fire in their tracks. Once you are there, go to the bottom right and head that direction. In the bigger room, you will find lots of slimes. They are easy, few hits and they'll be gone. Not all that aggressive. Then head towards the top right and enter the next room. In this room, you will have to use the radar from the bat. You are going to use the radar (press triangle button when in bat form) to see whats in front of you. You are going to have to navigate through the maze with only the radar to help you. Make a wrong turn and you'll be impaled to death most likely. In the next room, you will find a cross shuriken and karma coins. Now drop down and find the two skeletons holding the big head, defeat it. Then walk towards the wall on the right and you will pick up a pork pun that's chilling where no one can see it. At the end of the hall will be the Spike Breaker armor, and on the wall will be a library card. Go back to where the spikes are, then equip the spike breaker armor. You will Now be able to walk through spikes now without being dealt any damage by them. We are all done down here. Nothing else left for us down here. We have a few things we have to finish up before we are done with the Castle. I need you to back track to the Underground Caverns. Need you to travel back to where you fought Cerberus and then where we broke the wooden bridge. ====================================================================== CAVERNS AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 27 ITEMS: Claymore, meal ticket, holy glasses, moon stone, silver & gold rings, sirloin, turkey, pot roast, Frankfurther, resist stone, resist dark, resist holy & Platinum mail. ====================================================================== Once you are where the wooden bridge is, our destination is in the right-hand direction. We are going to pass the room with the water parts all the way to where the save is, that is right next to where we fought Scylla. From where the Save is, you can fly up with the bat or use your gravity boots. Once you have gotten to the top where the stairs are, there will be a door on the right that can only be accessed by flying with the bat or the gravity boots. Enter that door. This is just a small area, you will find some items here such as the claymore, Meal ticket(s) and a moonstone. I would equip the moonstone, it should improve your stats. Then you should be at a point where you can go left or right into different doors. Go to the door on the left first for a save. Then go to the door on the right, to another save. Just kidding, it's a boss fight. Enter the room and you will notice a purple save coffin. Go up to it as if it was a regular save. You then will be taken into a cutscene, then into a boss battle. __________________________________________SUCCUBUS____________________ This is another easy boss. She has predictable moves, she spends most of the time floating. She will duplicate herself, she does this by going to the top of the screen and duplicating all the way to the left and all the way to the right. Just need to hit the mirror image once and it will vanish. Knife or ax is a useful sub weapon to use for this. Once you actually hit her, the rest will vanish. She has another attack where she will, like when she duplicates. Instead will have spikes that are matched up with her lining of her wings (Guess they are wings.) They will hit most of the screen, but if you are positioned right, it will miss you completely. Like the Grandfaloon you will spend your time jumping then hacking away. ______________________________________________________________________ Grab the Gold Ring and save. Then open your map and look for the gray rod part in the top left area. This area should be in the Royal Chapel if you entered there it's a hallway full of spikes. It will be pretty close to where you entered the Castle Keep. Once you have backtracked to the Royal Chapel, and to the gray area you haven't been to. Equip the spike breaker armor so you don't have to worry about being impaled. You should have to get past a grate, to do so use your mist to get past it. At the end of the hallway, you should find a silver ring on the ground being lonely. You are wondering what we're supposed to do with these rings, right? They don't give you any stats. What gives? Well, let me tell you. We need to go to where the actual clock is in the game, which, if you look at your map. Is smack dab in the middle of the map. Where you got the gravity boots and the Alucart equipment. Once, you are there. Equip the Gold and Silver rings. The hands on the clock should start spinning. Then after they spin to Midnight, they will ring thirteen times. Then the bottom will open up. You'll find an elevator and 2 rooms go to the room on the right to get a life & heart max up and a save on the left. Now go down the elevator and you will meet Maria. And you will receive the holy glasses from her. Put the holy glasses on and keep them on. Now, look at your map again. You should notice that there are only a few parts of the Castle missing. These parts should be in the Castle keep area. At the top of the Castle and map. That is the next place we are going to go! I would go to Orlox's quarters above you and use the teleporter there. It's quicker that way. Now, you're back in the Castle, keep walking out of the teleporter. Travel up, past the moving platforms. Then you will have to use the mist to get up past the roof on the left side of that room. To then be in another room, with a platform that is in the middle of the room going up and down. Go up past that, and to the save room on the right. Now exit, go right and you will see that the stairs are broken. Get to the other side with the gravity boots or the bat. Once you are there, the entry- way there is a hidden switch. You will have to hit that area of the entry-way with your weapon to reveal it, then hit it again to activate the button. You should see a passage open up from the top. Jump onto the platform and go up and break several statues to get several items such as Sirloin, turkey, pot roast, Frankfurther, resist stone, resist dark, resist holy & Platinum mail. Now continue on, heart max up will be in the vase right before you enter the room. Then the next room will be a Boss battle. _______________________________________RICHTER________________________ You have the holy glasses on right!! Get those on and fight a Belmont? The key is not to hit Richter go for the green orb above his head, if you don't see a green orb you don't have the holy glasses on. When Richter does the cross attack turn into the mist (you know the attack that has him say "holy cross" and hits the whole battle field.) Richter is way harder than the other bosses because he is really agile. Very quick to get from one side of the room to the other. You just need to avoid his attacks and focus them on the green orb. Once you have destroyed the green orb you will have won the battle. ______________________________________________________________________ Now you will see a cutscene and you will be in the inverted castle!!!! GOOD JOB HALFWAY DONE WITH THE GAME. Now go through and you will see the place exactly the same but opposite, so most of the castle is the same at least interior they are. So go in the room that you activated earlier ago and you will get the following items: zircon, heart max up X3, life max up X3, Royal cloak, Bastard sword. Now equip Royal cloak on because it is better. Now explore this area without going out of this area and remember the secret areas in the normal castle are in here too. You should have gotten the following items in the Castle Keep area. High potion, resist ice fire stone & thunder, iron ball, sword of dawn, Garnet, Library card, lightning mail now save. Now go to the long part of the Castle Keep where the tombstones are and enter there to be in the Royal Chapel. ====================================================================== INVERTED ROYAL CHAPEL SUGGESTED LEVEL: 27 ITEMS: Bwaka Knife, magic missile, heart of Vlad, Stalwart, manna prism, smart potion, life max up, javelin, boomerang, diamond, TNT, shuriken, heart max up X2, Zircon ====================================================================== Now drop down and you will get a Bwaka knife and magic missile in the vase. And find a black panther if you hit him once he will be a big puddle and move somewhere else. When you get to the end of the hall you will fight Medusa. __________________________________MEDUSA______________________________ She is really easy just hit her and dodge her sword attacks and her laser attack and you will be fine you will get the heart of Vlad afterwards. ______________________________________________________________________ Now keep continuing on, now jump down after the hallway to get a Stalwart. Now go up and then right to be in another hallway then go down again to get manna prism, smart potion, life max up. Now go up and go right and equip the spike breaker armor and go through the hallway and you should find the twilight cloak equip it. Now continue going up the tower. The next room will have Imps and Snipers of Goth. A soul steal should clear them or take them one at a time. Once you get to the very top go left and you will be in the confession but go right to continue you will be in a room where the big sword and little swords were but now it will have a sword with spears and shields. Now go right and into a room and go up. Then go right and then down to find a fire boomerang. You will also want to explore everywhere in here to make sure you have everything you should have: Javelin, boomerang, diamond, TNT, shuriken, heart max up X2, and zircon by the time you are finished with this section, now go up and save. Then go through the door and you will be in the inverted Alchemist Laboratory. ====================================================================== INVERTED ALCHEMIST LABORATORY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 34 ITEMS: Life max up, turquoise, ====================================================================== You will now be in the Alchemist laboratory. Go up to get the map coverage then go down to enter a boss battle. First you must equip the topaz circlet, If you want to beat the boss easy then use if not then don't equip it. ______________________________________________________________________ BEELZEBUB For this boss, I would equip the topaz circlet to help mitigate any poison damage you would take and convert it into health. This boss is mainly poison, so having the topaz circlet will heal you if you get touched by poison. This can be hard if you don't equip/have the topaz circlet. Equip the topaz circlet if you have not done so. Then walk towards the center and you will see Beelzebub and he will be hanging and occasionally he will have his poison bee minions that fly around and blitz at you. Beelzebub doesn't move, he just hangs there and his body is vulnerable because of this. The first part of this battle is easy since his legs will be the most vulnerable. When all is left is his upper body it becomes harder since you now have to gravity jump and hack at him in order to deal damage. That's where the circlet comes into play. When you jump up to hit him, you will likely jump into a bee. The more opportune time is when the bees have blitz at you (leaving the screen) Beelzebub is left by himself for a few seconds. This is a good window of opportunity to attack him. Afterwards you will get a life max up. ______________________________________________________________________ After you have beaten the boss, stay in the room and go to the left. This is the room where you found the bat familiar in the normal castle and you will find a ring of arcana (If you got one from the librarian trick then you will have two). Once you have done that go up and to your left to continue on with the laboratory. Go left after you have exited then you will have to go up, I suggest you avoid the imps because they stop you and have you go berserk so just use the mist to get to the rooms. First room should contain a goddess shield equip it then continue going up. When you have reached the top, descend back (we did this for the map coverage.) Once you have gotten back to the room outside Beelzebubs room go down. There should be a room to the left and it should be a save. Now continue going down until you see a door to another room it will be another hallway that will lead to a square room (yeah I know all of the rooms are square) just explore around and don't leave yet, while exploring look out for the invisible skulls called bitterfly they go in and out of visibility. You should have gotten a turquoise from a vase. Now go into the other room. ====================================================================== INVERTED MARBLE GALLERY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 36 ITEMS: life max up, heart max up, meal ticket, iron ball, ====================================================================== Now go down the hall where stone skulls are they are invulnerable meaning that you can't ever defeat them (so don't even try). Then you will see a Gorgon & Jack 0` Bones the Gorgon breathes out stone which means if hit you will be petrified. Then go straight and you will find Guardians, remember that the guardians give you the most amount of experience in the game other than bosses. Watch out, the guardians are strong and powerful. Then you will have the option of going down or straight go down and you will have the option of choosing a sub weapon. Choose the Agunei the one at the right and looks like a ring. Then go to the rooms that are right and left of the sub weapons in cases. You should have gotten heart & life max ups then go back up and go left. You will be in a room with just candles continue and you will be in a big room. What you have to do to avoid the enemies on the ground is to jump then jump quickly after you land onto another platform that is away from them. Once you are in range they will strike. You will jump down and land, then jump quickly or use the bat or mist and fly down there. After doing that a couple of times you will be in another room doing the same things. There is a room located up, go up there and go to the door and don't go in yet I will cover that once the left side of the castle is covered. Continue going left and go into the next room, go straight and into the next room with the greenish door to get a meal ticket. Then go back and go up then take the pathway that leads up and you will get an iron ball. Next, you will be in another room, look familiar? This is the room where the 3 Diplocephalus are and stone roses. Now there are Stone Skulls and Jack `o Bone. Once you get to the door you will be in the Inverted outer wall. ====================================================================== INVERTED OUTER WALL SUGGESTED LEVEL: 37 ITEMS: max life up, Dim Sum set, shotel, hammer, heart max up, luck potion, tooth of Vlad, shield potion, high potion, garnet, ====================================================================== First things first go up and hit the vase that is mocking you to destroy it. You will get a life max up, continue going up. When you get up go to the room that is on the right then hit the wall on the top right to get a Dim Sum set. Now go back and go up where the Nova skeletons are. Then turn into the mist and go through the door to the right and get a shotel & hammer. Get out of the room and go back up and eventually find a heart max up. Once you have gotten to the top and have gotten the map coverage go back down. Once you have gotten down you should see a fancy vase destroy the vase to get a luck potion. Next, go to the right and you'll see 3 Paranthropus, the rare drop for them is the ring of Varda. That is if you have already beaten the game. Go down the hall and go up and save. After the save go down and to the left and you will be fighting The Creature. ______________________________________________________________________ THE CREATURE First off this boss is not very hard; he likes to roll around so you will have to jump high if you do not want to be clipped when you jump. He will roll around about 2 1/2 times jump over him and when you land, attack him with your sword and you should be able to inflict damage on him. This is about as much as he does, if you get close to him he will threaten you with his hammer just move away and he won't swing. After you have done that several times I mean several times you should defeat him and obtain the tooth of Vlad. This gives you a +10 strength bonus ______________________________________________________________________ Go to the next room and you will find a shield potion. In the next room go to the top and hit the vase to get a high potion. Keep going straight down until you find a save that is at the bottom of the outer wall. When you have gotten to the save you should have gotten a garnet in a vase, now save. Now go back up and the second door on the right go in and go through the hallway and you will be at another teleporter, now go back up and go through the first door that you see while going up. And you should be in the Inverted Long Library. ====================================================================== INVERTED LONG LIBRARY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 37 ITEMS: neutron bomb, resist ice, resist fire, resist stone, library card, opal, turquoise, Badelaire, ====================================================================== This room has Schmoo & lions, the Schmoo are the monsters that drop the highly known Crissaegrim which attacks four times in a row and does not require two hands. Anyways continue on to the next room. Next room you get to pick a direction doesn't really matter which one but the path I am going to take is straight. The new monster here is the Scarecrow. You will encounter a Schmoo then the scarecrow then the lion that is patiently waiting for you. The Scarecrow cannot hurt you if you are on the ground and the stick hits you, you only take damage if you hit the body that is on the pole, Continue to the next room. Nothing here go to the next room, more Schmoo and scarecrows, if you get hit by the scarecrow you will go backward and likely leave the room and have to kill the Schmoo and the scarecrow again so watch out. The next monster you see is the tin man you can jump over this monster if you want because he is a pain in the butt. You will finally be by the librarian's desk. It's just a hole, hit the vases to get the library card, opal & turquoise. Go through the next rooms until you come to the big part of the library. Now go down all the way and go right to get: resist fire, ice & stone. Now go far left until you meet a gap jump into the gap and go left. Go back and go up and left then up again. You will be back where you started. Now you have to go back to where there is a black mark on the map (there should if you didn't venture into anything you weren't SUPPOSE TO DO!) You should encounter a save, save there. Continue to the next room where there is no one there. You will be in a bigger room go down and go to the room on the left. Once in the room hit the candle on the table and you will get a neutron bomb. Like last time go to the bookcase and move in the left direction and it should move, go through to get the Badelaire. This weapon attack power increases with more game time you play. It's a strong sword when you have gotten the 99:59:59 play time. Now go back and go up in the direction of which the lesser demon boss was in the normal castle this time you will meet a tin man where the Lesser Demon was, continue on right and then up to find a Lion and another tin man. Go through the bars with the mist and left to get a Staurolite. You are now done with the Long Library. Now go back to the outer wall. Once you are in the outer wall go down to about where the save is and go through that door to be in the clock tower. ====================================================================== INVERTED CLOCK TOWER SUGGESTED LEVEL: 38 ITEMS: Dragon helm, magic missile, karma coin, Strength potion, Luminus, Smart potion, Sun stone, life apple, Diamond, life max up, heart max up, Moon rod, TNT, Bwaka knife, Shuriken, ====================================================================== You should be in the Clock Tower; you are in a small area right now but when you go through either door you will be in the big area. I am splitting the parts by choosing the door straight away, then coming back and going to the door on the top. Let's get started. When you have gone through the door your only choice is to fall go ahead fall you won't take any damage for falling down. When you get to the ground go far left (if you fell right next to the doorway you came then just left) and you should see a door, go through and receive the Dragon Helm this is one of the beginning items that you started with, equip it. Now go far right and watch out for the Valhalla Knights. Once you get to the wall on the far right use your gravity jump (down, up, X) and do that until you hit a platform then change into the bat or mist and move across until you get the doorway you came from if you use the bat the Wing Smash spell would allow you to get there faster. Once you get to the other side go through the door and go through the door that is above you. Once you have done that you should have gotten two items: magic missile & Karma coin. Now get the rest of the rooms map coverage, then go through the door. On your way in getting the remainder map coverage you should come across three items on platforms: Strength potion, Luminus & Smart potion. Now that you are in the next room go up or down depending on which door you went through. When you got to the top go back down and go through the door that is on the right of you. Remember this room? This is the room where you have to hit the switches and you find a secret area, I told you how to do it on the last castle so you don't need an explanation do you? Do you? EXPLANATION OF THE GEARS If you do not know how to do the little secret with the gears then listen up. Go up to the gear (there on the sides by the way) and hit them with anything that you have, UNTIL you hear a "click" then stop IMMEDIATELY because if you attack again it will not work. There are four gears 2 in "second room" & 2 in the "third room", the room where you get the goods is in the third room. When you have hit all the gears the room should contain: Diamond, life apple, Sunstone. Now go to the left of the third room and if you have the faerie on the faerie should say this wall looks familiar type thing, so attack it with your weapon and it should break revealing a path that leads to another room(s. After you have gotten out of the room you should have gotten: Life max up & a heart max up. Now go through the door that is straight ahead from the wall you broke. Now you have gotten out of the mess of the clock tower stuff. Once you have made it here go straight and jump up to the higher platform and go that direction; now go that way until you get to the end then drop down a little and go the opposite way so that you get the map coverage. Now that you have gotten the map coverage I need to now tell you of some secrets that are hidden in this room. 1. On the far right of the room at the top if you hit the wall it should break allowing you to get the Moon rod. 2. In between where you have the spike platform move up and down and the bomb knight there is a gap where you can jump down and land on the side, if you hit the wall you will find a pot roast that is on the top left. Once you have done that continue through the next door. You will be in a room that has no enemies but check under the platforms because there are items that are located if you break certain objects. If you are low on HP then I suggest you go back so that you don't die and have to come and do all of that again. The items you get are TNT, Bwaka knife & a Shuriken. Once you have gone through the door at the end of the hallway is a boss. ______________________________________________________________________ DARKWING At first, Darkwing flies around the room. It's a small room, jumping and slicing with your sword is basically the strategy. If he starts to flap his wings get behind him and start attacking him, if you are in front of him he will blow you to the wall and you will take damage. After about 10 or so hits he should be defeated. After the battle, you will get the ring of Vlad increasing your INT. ______________________________________________________________________ Once you have defeated Darkwing go through the door and you will be at the Castle keep. ====================================================================== INVERTED CASTLE KEEP(2) SUGGESTED LEVEL: 38 ITEMS: NONE ====================================================================== Once you have gone through the door look on your map for the red dot closest to you and save. After you have saved go to the area where you fought Beelzebub you know the one with the insects and was on hooks go there. If you followed the same directions as I did you should have this section on your map not filled. If you are somewhat lost the direction of where I am aiming for is on the top right it should be close to a save. ====================================================================== INVERTED ALCHEMIST LABORATORY AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 38 ITEMS: Katana, high potion, manna prism, resist dark, ====================================================================== When you have gotten here (it is a big jump from where we were) go in the upward direction you should encounter a Salem Witch she is not that hard to defeat, you will encounter a save just above her. Then encounter another one after you come out of the save now go up and left and land on a platform underneath, then go through to the next room. You should see the impale things underneath you and an imp and bitterfly. The first thing to do is get rid of the Imp and Bitterfly then jump over the gap and hit the flames if there are any. Then jump up with your shield and if possible hit the Gremlin who is creating the flames. Watch out when jumping up to the flames because of the two bitterflies are there and are transparent (invisible) and a Salem witch is there too. Next, jump down and go down as far as possible and go left into another room and watch out. Now ascend down and go to the room at the bottom, to get a life max up. Now go back up and go to the door on your left. This room has nothing, the next room will have two gremlins and two Salem witches. Remember the part where there are two secrets in the same spot? Well, this is the place there is a secret on the top right wall and a secret on the tip top, above the platform that is in the middle. The one on the right has a heart max up the top one you will get a Katana now go through the door to the left. You should meet a fire demon and lesser demons once you have defeated the fire demon go to the hole that is next to the door you came through and you will find another Fire Demon kill that one and go through the door ahead of you to find a high potion in the glass. Now go back and go up and explore there then go through the door that is located to the top left. You should have gotten a manna prism and found a save near the doorway that leads to another room. Now go right to find a lesser demon and a Ctulhu and a glass that you can hit to get resist dark now go to the door that leads to the begging part of the game. ====================================================================== INVERTED BEGINNING SUGGESTED LEVEL: 38 ITEMS: Talisman, ====================================================================== When you have gotten to this room move a little to the left and you should find a heart max up and no way for you to continue going left now jump up and continue to go up and find a save that is to the right and a teleporter that is to the left but up one more stair. Now go left and jump to the wall on the left and there should be a door that leads to a room that gives you a talisman which can sometimes take a hit for you. Then leave the room and go all the way down and go through the door to the left and you should be in a portion of the Inverted Marble Gallery. ====================================================================== INVERTED MARBLE GALLERY AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 38 ITEMS: Library card, resist fire, resist thunder, resist holy, resist dark, ====================================================================== The first thing you will see is those stupid impale things except this time you don't have to jump over huge gaps you just have to jump over small gaps. You should have to go through some Jack O` Bones and stone skulls to get to the other side. Now go down and to your right. You should find a hallway with no enemies but find candles to hold money in them. The third hallway is pretty much the same as the first hallway with the exception that there is now Nova skeletons. You will get to the end and have to jump down and jump up very quickly in order to get a library card. The next room will be a part where lots and lots of Medusa heads come in a single file line and start going left to right. This is an excellent spot to train if you get high on levels. Just continue going down and go to the door that is to the right. Now go straight and jump over the gap and you will find a potion, now go back and go down the gap that I told you to jump over. Further down you should have found an antivenom in an area much like the one you found the potion by. Now continue on and you should find a save that is a little to your left save there. On your way to the save you will encounter the famous Gorgon that has a stony breath and Jack O` Bones. You should have intervened with your map and have connected a pathway from one point to another. Since you are by the clock go there. Once you are by the clock go to the room that is straight down and get the stop watch sub weapon then come back up. Now activate the stop watch sub weapon and the passage on the left should open up go in. You should get: resist fire, thunder, holy & dark now go back up. Now that you have covered this part of the map I would like you to go back to where the last teleporter is, you know the one that you were just there about 10 minutes ago? (maybe 10 minutes ago). ====================================================================== INVERTED BEGINNING AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 39 ITEMS: High potion, pot roast, zircon, opal, beryl circlet, Fire boomerang, Antivenom, hammer ====================================================================== The only thing to do now is go straight up and go to the room on the top left. You should be in a purplish room where Death took all of your weapons at the begging. Go straight ahead into the room and go straight up then go right then fall down and you will be where you started. Jump up and into a room, you will get a life max up. Go back and go up and to the door on the right. Now that you are in the room remember the turkey you get when you hit part of the stairs it is still there except you get a high potion instead. Now go straight ahead until you get to another room. Now you will be in a pretty big room, break the rock area like you did before and get a pot roast. Now go through with the wolf and go back with the bat and a secret area should open to the top right of the room. You should get zircon, opal & Beryl circlet. Now go down the hole that is right down by the door that is to the bottom right, go through that hole. You should see jack o` bones when entered your 2 room here with two other skeletons and a Blue Venus Weed now after facing the Venus weeds you will be in a room with stairs go through the first door and you should be in a save. Now go down and you should get a fire boomerang in the room that is below the save. Now go back and go through the door that was by the hole. You will be in another hallway like the one before this one except that there are more enemies in this one but most of the enemies here are in the other hallway. Now you will be at the entrance to the castle get the map coverage here and items then go back, the items you should have received were: Antivenom & hammer. Now go back to the room that had the hole in it. Then there is a Door that is to the top left to go through that and you will be in the inverted Underground. ====================================================================== INVERTED CAVERNS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 39 ITEMS: Shiitake X4, Alucard shield, Osafune Katana, Toadstool, Garnet, Bat Pentagram, potion, meal ticket X5, Peanuts, Diamond, opal, manna prism, Force of Echo, zircon, pot roast, ====================================================================== Once you have gotten through the door go straight and jump into the opening first you must get the Shiitake. Go right and continue until you get to the other side if you have encounter that you can get map coverage when in the water all you have to do is turn into the wolf and press triangle and the wolf will swim. Do that to get the map coverage in the area. You should have gotten the Alucard Shield which is one if not the strongest shield in the game. Now go the other direction after completing the coverage on the other side. The hallway should have 2 Jack O` Bones. You will come to the waterfall part, turn into the bat and use the Wing Smash move towards the waterfall and you will get through it, the item in there is the Osafune Katana. When you have the item jump down on one side when you land go to the other side and jump and gravity jump back up there. You should get a toadstool & Shiitake. Now jump back down and go through the room on the right bottom to get a Garnet. Now go through the door that is on the left bottom side. When through the door you will find a Bat Pentagram in the water area jump into the current so that you are on the platform and jump you should be able to get it. Continue going left, you will encounter a Stone Knight & one of the Venus ladies things. The best thing is to avoid them all together with the exception of maybe hitting the stone knight so that you get him in your enemy listing. You will see quite a few of them so just keep going through as the mist you will be at the end if you see a rock knight, kill him to get him on your enemy list. Next, go through the door on the left in this room you will see 1-2 rock knights kill them then go up into the water and do the same thing with the wolf to get the map coverage. You should get a potion & life max up while you are up there. You will encounter another rock knight and Venus weed and another place for you to use the wolf technique to get map coverage. After that go to the left and encounter more Venus weeds & rock knights it's best to skip this part with the mist. (You will take a lot of damage for the lack of space, you can soul steal if you are good with that spell). You will then come to a point where you can gravity jump into the water and explore in that area. You should have gotten a heart max up in that area. Continue one and you will find another shiitake. You should come across another Shiitake; you will have 2 choices to choose from in regarding the direction to go, the way I am going is left, You should be in a room where you can choose 3 ways, go in the room on the left and save. Now that you have saved jump down the hole that will take you down. When you land go to the room on the left you should encounter some skeletons continue on. When you are in the other room you will find another skeleton and a heart max up in a vase. Going up you will find a balloon pod when you hit it, it will sprout out poisonous little pods that when you get hit you will be poisoned, use the shield to defeat these pests. When you get to the top and through the door into the other room you will find 5 pots destroy them all and you will get a meal ticket in all 5 of them. There are two doors the one on the left is a room where the nightmare was and the other is a save. Go to the room on the left and grab the peanut (the peanuts here keep coming back if you exit and come back exit and come back you know what I mean). Go back and go down the tower, when you go down the room on the left is a save. On the right is a room where you choose directions. Go to the room on the right first. You should get a life max up and a DIAMOND!!! Yeah, amazing a diamond don't sell all of them. Now go back and go up the hole and go up the tower and the rooms that are on the side. When you have gotten up you should have obtained an opal that was in the room on the right, now go through the door on the left it is a save. Now go up and break the roof (where you got the holy symbol) go through there and get all the map coverage and the item, then come back. Manna prism, Elixir, Force of Echo are items you should have gotten in that area of the castle now go back and go down and save so that you don't have to do that again if you die. Now go back up and go to the room on the left. ______________________________________________________________________ DOPPLEGANGER The new and improved Copycat (thus the name doppleganger) this time he has more HP and attack and all the good stuff. Avoid his rebound stone attack that will poison you. If you use any spells that attack he will turn into the mist and it will miss. In addition, his regular sword attack will poison you. After defeating him you will, of course, get the usual life max up. ______________________________________________________________________ After defeating him go through the door opposite of the one you came through. Remember this room this room is the one that you had to quickly go through because the water levels were increasing. Continue on and receive a Zircon then use the bat/mist to get across the hole and get map coverage! Now go down the hole, you should see 20-40 Dark octopuses you can kill every single one or just skip them but get the Pot roast in the vase on the left then go towards the right and into a room where you will receive a Dark Blade, equip the Dark Blade since it is significantly stronger, now go back and save. After you have saved go to the door that is straight from where you just saved and keep going that direction until you see where there was a bridge (the part where you have to blow it up in the normal castle) go up there and you will be in the inverted underground. ====================================================================== INVERTED UNDERGROUND SUGGESTED LEVEL: 40 ITEMS: Eye of Vlad, power of sire X2, life apple, green tea, Alucard sword, ====================================================================== Once you have gone through the door you will face Gaibon he only has 200 HP so you hit him once (assuming you took out 100 HP) he will turn into the mad mode and will be stronger (usually). There is a save at the top of the room. After you have saved go through the door that is to the left (it is in the mouth of the dog). IN this room you will face your other friend Slogra he is little bit easier hit him with your sword about 3 times and he should die. The next room will be a boss battle with Death, he is not that hard but he is a challenge. ______________________________________________________________________ DEATH This is the guy who stole your equipment at the starting of the game now you can take revenge or just defeat him like a regular boss and just move on with the game. For starters, I would equip the holy sword because he is undead so the holy sword takes double the amount the dark sword would take out. First, off Death's classic attack is having axes appear from thin air and come at you, you can deflect them. When you take out considerable damage, he will change into his other form. Don't you hate bosses with 2+ forms? I do, they are very annoying. so Death's second form is a gray thing with big scythes. Dodge his attacks and hit him with the Holy sword, if you do not use the holy sword you are most likely going to take more time since the holy sword is very strong against undead. After defeating him you will get the eye of Vlad this gives you +10 luck. ______________________________________________________________________ Continue by going through the door on the left. In this room, you have two choices going up and activating the switch with using the demon familiar. Change into the demon familiar and have him activate the switch after he has activated the switch go through the door. You will encounter Slogra again hit him 3 times and he is defeated, then go to the other part and find 2 more Slogra's. In the next room, you will find more Gaibon's go up and hit the wall to the right and you will find: Green tea, power of sire & life apple. Go back and when you get to the part where you can go up, go up. You should encounter lots of bats on your way up, now when you have gotten up here go right and you should find THE ALMIGHTY ALUCARD SWORD!! Equip this awesome and powerful sword then go back and go left instead of right you should find a teleport. Now go to the opening that is on top, You should find 2 shiitake's, now go to the door on the right and go through to the room, you should find a power of sire. Now go through the door to the other room. ====================================================================== INVERTED CATACOMBS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 42 ITEMS: magic missile, buffalo star, Karma coins X2, resist thunder, fire, red Bean bun, Library card, diamond, gas cloud, ruby circlet, ====================================================================== When you saved you should see a door that leads to another room. You will get a magic missile, hit the wall by the magic missile and you will get a Buffalo star. Now go back and go through the door that is on the left side. This room is pretty hard you have the stupid witches that when you get close to them they have this protective shield, for now, you will have to avoid them. Now in the next room, you will see lots of bats and two doors that you can go through go through the door that is on the left. In this room will see a Frozen half and a Salome (the witches) now go through the only door that you can and equip the spike breaker armor. After reaching the room that is past the spike pit, you will encounter 2 blood skeletons and another Salome, you will then come across 4 vases the bottom 2 contain Karma coins, the top ones have resist fire & thunder. Now go up and go to the left you will find a Red bean bun, now go right and keep going right until you get to a wall. You will find an elixir & a Library card in the wall next to the elixir. Now go back to where you have two choices to pick from where all the bats where, go there and chose the other side. When you have picked the other side you will see hordes of blood zombies after that room you will see a life max up & a heart max up. Then go to the other room and find another Frozen half, now go to the next room and find more Skeletons and another frozen half. The next room will be where the discuss Lord was so, therefore, you can go down since there was a hole when you fought him in the normal castle. You should get: attack potion, shield potion and a Necklace of J, this is one of the starting items that Death took from you. Now go back and go through the door that leads to the right. The next room includes more blood skeletons and another Frozen half, go to the other room and go to the first room you see you will find a lantern with a 1$ in it. Now go to the other rooms starting with the one that is on the left which is a save that you can go to the other side and get a diamond. Then go through The other door and equip these things that you should have. Right hand: Alucard sword (optional) Left hand: Alucard shield (suggested) Head: Beryl circlet (NEEDED) Body: Walk armor (suggested) Cloak: doesn't matter Other: Talisman (optional) Other: Sunstone (optional) The reason being that you need the Beryl circlet is because the Boss you fight uses lightning so when that is equipped you will recover HP. ________________________________GALAMOTH______________________________ This battle can be easy but it will literally take 10+ minutes for you to defeat the boss. When he shoots out balls out of his staff you need to dodge that or you will take considerable damage, the best way to dodge the balls is to use the mist and fly up to his head and attack a couple times before you fall and start hacking at his feet. If you attack his feet with the Alucard sword you will take close to 33 damage, if you try to hit his head it will take more damage. After the battle, you should get a life max up and in the process, You should have gotten a level up. Now go to the right and there should be a door where you can go through and get the gas cloud & ruby circlet. ______________________________________________________________________ After this battle, the next place to go is the Royal Chapel, go there. When you get to the inverted chapel I want you to go to the spot where you Could go to the Orlox's Quarters that is located near where you got the Twilight Cloak. ====================================================================== INVERTED ORLOX'S QUARTERS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 46 ITEMS: Heart refresh, Alucard mail, shuriken, rib of Vlad, aquamarine, manna prism, luck potion, shield potion, high potion, sword of hador, opal ====================================================================== You should be on the part of Orlox's quarters that connected you to the Royal Chapel if you are not then you are probably going to get confused on the Directions. First off you are in a hallway with Cthulu & flying zombies, but do you remember where you got the sword familiar? It is in the same spot as you got it last time, it is in this room on the ground next to where you just came from but on the ground. you should find a heart refresh, do not use this heart refresh you have to get this certain item first. Now continue on with the hallway. You should get a life max up, when you get to the main room I want you like last time to explore this meaning I want you to fly around and getting the map coverage, don't go into any rooms while doing this. After exploring go to the room that is in the middle on the left side it is a save, then go to the room that is on the left but above the save you should get Alucard mail, it isn't stronger than the walk armor but it is resistant to Fire, lightning & ice. Now you can go to the room that is on the bottom right side and you will be in a boss battle. The items you need to make this battle go lot quicker is the topaz circlet and if you have the holy water or bibuti. _______________________________AKMODANII______________________________ This boss is one of the easier one, once you hit him poison will spew out, that is why the topaz circlet is the key to winning this boss. The Holy water or bibuti is so that you use it when he comes out and it takes lots of damage since he is very slow when it comes to moving. You shouldn't have much of a hassle with him. After defeating him you should get the rib of Vlad. ______________________________________________________________________ After defeating Akmodan II go through the door and you should get a heart max up. Go back and go through the door that is on the bottom left and make your way towards the Colosseum. ====================================================================== INVERTED COLOSSEUM SUGGESTED LEVEL: 46 ITEMS: Aquamarine, Gram, zircon, ====================================================================== You should get an aquamarine, manna prism, luck potion, shield potion, high potion, sword of hador, opal these are the items you should have gotten while making your way to the Colosseum. The first thing you should see is 4-6 werewolves once you have killed 3 of them, take the path that leads up, you should see a skeleton snake. They call it the white dragon, ignore it and go through the room it should be a save. After you have saved go back down and kill the werewolves then jump down and go into the room and find several Azaghal (you have to hit the sword to deal damage to them. They have a good amount of life, they will swipe at you with good range.) ignore them they take some time to defeat, then go close to the first pillar without going past it and hit it and it should break go down to get the fury plate. Then go back up and get past the Azaghal and go through the room, then go up and to your right, you will encounter a minotaur go right and keep killing them until you get to the end of the hallway and go through the door and come back. Then go up and go to the right and you will find a save. After saving go out and go left instead of going up, continue going left and be in a room that has lots of werewolf & Minotaur. Then jump across the gap and go left and find 2 heart max ups & a life max up. Then go up and then left and find skeleton heads and another white dragon, kill the dragon fast then Get the aquamarine. Get out of the room and go right and find more stone skull and a white dragon. Then jump to the other side and go through the door to the other room and get the sword Gram. Next go back and jump down and land directly underneath where you were and go through that room again when you Reach the other side go up and then left and get a Buffalo star, next go right and straight into the room and find another room similar where the skulls and white dragon was. Grab the zircon that is there then head out and save. Now go down and go directly left all the way and you should be in a boss battle. ________________GRANT, SYPHA & TREVOR________________________________ You have to fight 3 bosses in this one I suggest you get rid of Sypha first she can resurrect Trevor and Grant. Next would be Grant he is usually on the wall, so you have to jump high in order to attack him with your sword. After Grant you will have to face Trevor he is the harder one he will throw shurikens at you and has a long whip attack. Use your sub weapon, spells and your normal attack to take the most damage out of them. You will get a life max up after defeating them. Good job. If you missed anything now would be the time to go do it before we fight Dracula. ====================================================================== INVERTED LAST GUY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 40+ ITEMS: Heart refresh, ====================================================================== The last guy is located in where the "clock" is go there. When you get to the clock it will act like it did in the normal castle. Like in the normal castle where you needed the gold and silver rings, you will likewise need the 5 treasures of Vlad in order to get to the last guy. jump up and go to the room that is on the left and get another heart refresh, then go to the other room and save. After saving equip everything that you have that is your best equipment because you are going to need it, in order to defeat the end bosses. IDEAS strongest sword (Alucard sword most likely or Holy sword) Alucard shield dragon Helm walk Armor best cloak any accessory that will give you more attack other than the ring of Ares. Best sub weapon, Agunei or ax are good options here, Holy water is great as well. (you can find all of the sub weapons where you got the gravity boots. And best familiar, Faerie or Sword are perfect for this battle. The Faerie would be a good choice since you wouldn't have to use the potions to heal yourself. After you have decided, go up the elevator by pressing. If you are close to leveling up (like 1500 or less) go train with the knights that are on the left and right of this area, by doing that you can get the benefit from the level up right now instead of when you are battling Shaft. After doing so go up the elevator. when you get up there you can go left or right go in one direction, then when you get close to the hole go back and go to the opposite side so that you get the map coverage. ____________________________________________SHAFT_____________________ This battle isn't too hard he uses lots of elemental attacks so if you can see it quick enough you can pause and change into the circlet of that element and you will be healed, the Gas cloud does not work on him or the next boss, so don't try it. ______________________________________________________________________ After defeating Shaft you will, of course, have to defeat DRACULA the evil of all evil. _______________________________DRACULA________________________________ This battle is a medium to hard. It is just like the Galamoth battle it will take some time for you to defeat Dracula. You could use the Shield Rod + Alucard shield and do the cheap way. Or you could attack him with the Holy sword which should take out good amount of damage, using spells is helpful especially the soul steal spell, use that spell when low on life (around 150 HP). Aside to that when you try to hit him you will most likely get hit by the fact that he takes 95% of the screen so for this you will have to use when he goes up so you have time to use the soul steal spell so that you can heal yourself. If you use the Faerie she will heal you but she will most likely use the potion one first which heals you 50 HP, but you actually might not have a potion! If you do not have any potions you could either go buy some and manna prisms because I said this battle was medium to hard but Dracula has 9999 HP exactly like Galamoth. Some things Dracula does, he moves up and down very little left and right. After a couple of minutes, he will be completely out of range for you to hit him. He will summon a big sphere, DO NOT GET HIT BY IT!! It will deal massive damage. To avoid the sphere stand in the center wait until he shoots it and use triangle to back dash and do it a couple of times and you will avoid it. You can use the mist but that would waste magic for soul steal. Rarely or when he is weaker he will summon previous monsters/bosses and squish them and I guess he gets healed? Other than that you should be able to beat him. After defeating Dracula you will see a movie and see of course the boring Credits. That also has a great song in it called "I am the Wind" No matter what anyone wants you to think that is a great song! Some of these may not be frequently asked but you get the idea. If you have some questions in here that I did not cover you are more than welcome to e-mail me at the top of this walkthrough. Q1 How do I move the right statue by the clock? A1 Clock Sub weapon Q2 I have 200.3%, am I missing anything? A2 Yes, you are probably missing about 3 rooms. The normal max without glitches is 200.6%, I have 206% with glitches. Q3 What is the max life? A3 If you started out with 70 HP the max will be 4903. If you beat Dracula with no sub-weapons or picked one up and under 1 minute you will start out with 80/85 HP and the HP will be couple hundred higher. Q4 Where is the best place to level up the muramasa? A4 Do you remember where you fought scylla? The female cross with 3 headed dog with snake heads? Go there but in the inverted caverns. You will find multiple Dark octopuse, you are trying to make your stats go down so equip some equipment that you normally wouldn't equip. Then find the knife sub weapon equip the blood cloak, muramasa. Then if you did it right your knife should only take less than 10 HP. Make sure that the blood coming from the octopus is hitting you. That is the fastest way to level up the muramasa. Q5 Is there really a inverted Castle? A5 Yes, when people first played it (1997) they didn't realize there was one. They would get 85% or higher in the game so they didn't care to get the rest of the 15% But those who had 30% or more left to discover went around the castle to get the other percentage and accidentally found how to get there. Q6 What does the gold & Silver ring do? A6 When you have both of them equipped and you are in the clock room you will activate rooms that you can go to. Q7 How do you activate familiars or relics? A7 Relic sub menu, in menu (press start, third option down). Q8 When I am in the outer wall and I look through the telescope I see the ferryman. What is that suppose to mean? A8 It is suppose to tell you that you need the holy symbol and that you can breathe or go under water with it. Q9 When I am in the outer wall (same place as question 8) I see a bird fly by, does the bird actually do anything? A9 It might do something, doubt it though. Q10 How do you Save?? A10 You have to find a room with an object floating in the center, press up and it will save for you. On your map it is labeled with red. Q11 How do you activate the map? A11 SELECT Q12 What is the point of the Alucart equipment? A12 When you have the equipment equipped your status will change to alucart and your luck goes up. That’s it, it’s not really a great equipment to use. Q13 What is this room with the shape of a key do? A13 that is a teleporter. It will teleport you to other teleporters and it is marked orange on the map. Q14 What is the max time, gold & experience? A14 TIME 99:59:59 GOLD 999,999 EXP 999,999 Q15 Where is the best place to train/level up? A15 Lower than 30 then it doesn't particularly matter where you train. 31-65 the guardians in the inverted clock area are your best choice. 66+ there is this place in the inverted marble gallery where you can get a lot of kills and EXP. Get a dark shield (look to see where dropped) equip it and put a rubber band on the button that you had assigned the shield to and make sure it stays there, then make sure the medusa heads hit the shield, leave there all night and you should have 5+ levels. Depending on the level you are from 66-99. If you are level 66 you will get way more levels up than if you were level 90. Level 90 you will probably get 3-5. Q16 Where do you get the sword card? A16 Wow, In my opinion this is one of the top 5 questions that gets asked. It is found in Orlox's quarters, you find it exactly (on the map) under where you fight Orlox in the normal castle.(I asked the same question for some reason this familiar is one that isn't familiar with? Some reason people just bypass him and not realize it? Q17 Where does each teleporter teleport to? A17 That is a good question, sometimes I find myself toing around with the teleporter now and then because I forget where I need to go. I will list the area of the castle the teleporter teleports to, and tell you which teleporter is a good choice to navigate to that area of the castle. LION= CASTLE KEEP. CLOSE, ROYAL CHAPEL & CLOCK TOWER DEER= ORLOX QUARTERS.
