AK: HTW is an adventure game by Sega.

This walkthrough will not work with the Japanese version! I had to find that
out the hard way, unfortunately.

3. Walkthrough
==============================================================================

The Castle
----------------------

FIRST MAP PIECE
Go left to the first door.
The first piece they give you is Fake.
Take it, press B to check it, and take the real one.
If you just try and re-enter it over and over again, game over!
SECOND MAP PIECE
Go down the stairs right next to you.
Go right to the first door.
Go back out.
Go right and down the next stairs you see.
Go left to the first door.
Take the test.
The answers are:

Get the map piece and leave.
THIRD MAP PIECE
Go right and up the stairs.
Go left to the second door.
You'll get a burnt piece.
DO NOT TOUCH IT. It will break and game over!
Exit.
Go left and up the stairs.
Go right to the phone.
Call 123-4321.
Go back left and down the stairs.
Go right and down the next stairs.
Go left and down the next stairs.
Go right and down the next stairs.
Go right and enter and exit the first door over and over again until the
  person you called comes.
If you were too late, the game is over. You really shouldn't be though.
Take the thing the person on the left is holding. Exit.
Go left and up the stairs.
Go left and up the next stairs.
Go right and up the next stairs.
Go left and in the second door.
Now you can take the map piece. Exit.
FOURTH MAP PIECE
Go right and down the next stairs.
Go left and down the next stairs.
Go right and down the next stairs.
Go left and in the first door.
Another test.

Take the map piece. Exit.
FIFTH MAP PIECE
Go left to the next screen.
Look in the jar on the right for a cloth.
Look in the garbage can for a map piece. Exit right.
SIXTH MAP PIECE
Go right and up the stairs.
Go left and up the stairs.
Go left and up the stairs.
Look in the pot for a ladder.
Go left and down the stairs.
Go right to the clock.
Press up on it to use the ladder.
You get the map piece.
SEVENTH MAP PIECE
Go right and up the stairs.
Go left to the first door.
Exit and go right and down the stairs.
Go left and down the stairs.
The first door here contains a suit of armor that ends the game. Apparently
  the protagonist gets stuck in it. Stupid, but that's how it works.
The second door here has a broken computer that ends the game also.
Instead, go right to the third door.
Go left and up the stairs.
Go right and up the stairs.
Go left to the first door.
You get the next map piece! Hooray!
Exit.
EIGHTH MAP PIECE
Go right and down the stairs.
Go left and down the stairs.
Enter and exit the fourth door until these two people appear.
Enter and exit it some more until you get the map piece.
EXITING THE CASTLE
Go left and up the stairs.
Go right and up the stairs.
Go right two screens.
If you go down the stairs here, oh no! The stairs are broken and game over!
Climb up the ladder.
Look in the pot to get the key.
Climb back down the ladder.
Go left and up the stairs.
Go left two screens.
Climb the ladder.
Open the safe with the key and get a hang glider.
Go down the ladder.
Go right a screen.
Use the hang glider when you get in the middle.
You're done with the castle.

Ninja Forest
----------------------

This is a simple platforming stage.
Just get as much gold as you can.
You only get one hit and life here, so be careful!

The Village
----------------------

Go in the fourth door and buy the second option.
Go in the building right next to it and pray 100 times.
You will eventually get a travel pass.
Go right to the second building.
Pick the first option.
You get 1000 unneeded gold.
Go right.
In the bulding of the three doors, the second one has the pistol.
Do not get it, or it's game over when you give the pass to the checkpoint
  guard.
