This functions as a quick tutorial. When your fellow Marine asks you to nod your head, use the Right Thumbstick to look around. After the submarine is hit, use the Left Thumbstick to follow the Marines into a corridor. You'll need to use the B button to crouch a couple of times up ahead. Finally, swim a short length to exit the submarine. | ============= | | | | Second Chance | [W2] | | | ============= | After the cutscene, look on the table to your right for a Dog Tag. Move forward to the padlock and click in the Right Thumbstick to melee it. As you move through the quarantine area, you may notice that you can pick up and throw smaller objects. Hold X to pick it up, then press the Right Trigger to throw it. The longer you hold the trigger, the harder you'll throw it, but the more energy it will consume. You can also kick bigger objects, like tables and cabinets. Click in and hold the Right Thumbstick to give it a hefty kick. In the next room there's plenty of stuff to play around with, including a laptop on one of the tables with an audio message you can listen to. Go up the stairs and you'll come to a gap to large to jump across normally. Hold down A to do a Power Jump across it. Keep going until you reach a dead end. At this point, hold A to jump up and grab the ledge above you, then head through the door. You'll be required to open your visor when you get outside by pushing Up on the D-Pad. You can move the cursor over enemies and press X to highlight them, which makes them easier to spot in combat. You can also spot the various ammo boxes down below. Jump down to the street below and get some pistol ammo from one of the boxes. You will now engage in a firefight with two enemies. Press X to reload, hold down the Left Trigger to aim down sights, and press the Right Trigger to fire your weapon. After they're down you can grab an assault rifle from one of their bodies or the large weapon box near the fountain. Move to the checkpoint and you'll be required to activate stealth mode. Press the Right Bumper to turn yourself invisible. It takes energy to walk around while cloaked, so if you're getting low, find a place to hide, uncloak, and let your energy recharge before you go back into stealth mode. Walk up to the enemy and click in the Right Thumbstick to perform a stealth kill. Move outside and dispose of the other two enemies here. Keep an eye on the meter in the lower left. This lets you know how stealthy you are being. While you're outside, look for an E-mail on one of the tables in the middle of the area. Hold down A to jump onto the yellow container, then up to the roof. Before you jump down, a truck pulls up and one soldier gets out. He meets up with two more in the area. You can rush them or play it stealthy, but if you're still on the roof when they stop talking, they will spot you. Move forward and you'll come across a camp filled with soldiers. They're spread out enough that you can do this stealthily if you want. Be wary of some on top of the diner in the middle of the area. When you get to the gate, use the keypad. You will be unable to get through, so detour to the left of the gate. There are a few more enemies in this area. Head into the tent and hit the next keypad. Use stealth mode to silently take out the next two enemies, then activate the laptop when you come to it. You'll have to pry open the doors to exit the park, enter the city streets, and obtain the achievment for doing just that. Keep going to the end of the street and turn into the alley to the left, in between The Pharmacy and another store. As you go through that other store, look on the counter for a Souvenir. Jump up to the next ledge and you'll be forced to enter Armor Mode. Press the Left Bumper to harden yourself against the explosives that the soldier shoots at you. Take down the rest of the enemies. Keep going and you'll wind up on the roof of a diner. There are a ton of enemies scattered around below you, plus another one on a rooftop ahead of you. Use your visor to scope them all out. You may notice the giant donut on the roof with you. Watch for one of the soldiers to move by the car beneath the donut, then shoot the donut to make it fall on him. This will give you an achievement. Take out the rest of the soldiers here. There's a grenade box on the roof with you. Double tap Y to equip them, then press the Right Trigger to throw them. There's an ammo box and a grenade box in the upper left corner of the intersection from the diner roof. When they're all dead, hop down and get on the street going North. Look at one of the lampposts and you'll see a huge camera attached to it. Sprint in front of that camera to get a Speeding Ticket, which goes towards an achievement. If you would prefer to do this whole thing stealth style, you can. There are some openings to the left of the diner rooftop in the ground, on the sidewalk. They lead to a sewage system. This runs under most of the area. If you drop down and go right, it'll lead you towards the subway. If you go left, you'll encounter some people living in the subway, and you'll be able to activate Nanovision once you turn the power off. Do this by pressing Down on the D-Pad to make all thermal targets show up. There's another sewage tunnel that goes from a hole near the scaffolding on the right side of the area right to the subway entrance. If you go through that one, watch out for live wires above you, and make sure you shut the power off before going through the water. After you lift the gate to enter the subway, press Down on the D-Pad to activate Nanovision, which is basically thermal vision. This area is crawling with little spider-like creatures. When you get to the end, you'll need to run through the hall and hurry up and jump up to the ledge, because the spiders won't stop spawning from those nests. Go up the stairs to finish this chapter. | ============= | | | | Sudden Impact | [W3] | | | ============= | Move through the building. There will be a side room as you move through with a shotgun in it if you want it. Once you fall down into the streets, move forward and head left into the parking garage. Before you open the gate, examine the ground to the left to find a silenced pistol with a red dot sight attached. Here, you can press and hold the Back button to bring up the attachments on any gun you've currently got equipped. Obviously the pistol will have a silencer and a red dot sight on it, which you can remove by pressing the button assigned to that particular attachment. There are two levels of parking garage that you need to move through, and both of them have enemies to deal with. Once you're back outside, go up the stairs and look next to a dead body for a Key. From here, if you follow the right wall through the city streets, you'll eventually come a checkpoint of sorts. This checkpoint has signs above it saying "POST NO BILLS" and there's a yellow container on a trailer parked in it. Sprint through this checkpoint to get a Speeding Ticket from a camera on the other side. It's advised that you do this after clearing out most of the area. Now, if you're still at the stairs with the Key, bring up your visor. You may notice three yellow points. These are tactical decisions that you can use to make things easier. Of course, if you'd like, you can still just jump down and start firing, but there are a lot of enemies roaming the streets here. If you look in the Western area you'll see a tactical option called Flank. This is a hole that leads you to the second tactical option called Ascend. This is a great way to bypass a lot of enemies, including pesky turret gunners in the Humvees. If you do ascend, you'll find yourself on the roof with another soldier, so be careful. If you choose the third tactical option, Explore, you'll go down a ramp and through a garage right to the crash site. Not only is this also a great stealth option, but you can find a Souvenir in here as well. It's in the booth just before you leave. You'll have to charge up a melee attack to bust down the door and get inside. No matter what route you take, you'll end up at the crash site, which is crawling with soldiers and a helicopter. Go to the bottom blue objective and you'll find a rocket launcher down there. This takes up a heavy weapons slot, accessed by Right on the D-Pad, so you won't have to give up one of your current weapons. One shot from it should take down the chopper easily. When you're ready, go up to the elevator doors on either side and push them open, then drop down to the bottom. Keep going until you reach an open room. Here, use your visor to examine the tissue, which turns out to be human. Go up and enter the room you couldn't get into before. You can jump out of the window here. After the short "cutscene" type thing, kill one of the aliens jumping around and take a tissue sample from it. At this point, the alien tissue will integrate with your suit and you'll be asked to press Back to bring up the Nanosuit upgrade screen. Here you can use the module you've acquired to purchase an upgrade. From now on, when you kill those aliens, be sure to check the corpses for nanosuit modules. Now, head towards the checkpoint and drop into the tunnel. As you move through this area, you'll have to deal with CELL troopers and aliens. You can let them duke it out if you'd like. The aliens generally slaughter the soldiers. When you fight the aliens, be careful of their melee attack. They like to lunge at you and knock you down. Fight your way through the tunnel until you reach the exit, which is a door on the right wall. Just before that door, you should see another door on the right wall as well. Go in here and look on the couch for a Dog Tag. Go through the next door to end the chapter. | ========= | | | | Road Rage | [W4] | | | ========= | At the beginning, move into the next room, then go right and up the stairs. Turn around and go into the room behind the stairs and look in the corner next to the "God Help Us" painted on the wall. You'll find a Souvenir here. Keep going until you come to the window and a cutscene. When the chopper leaves, enter stealth mode or they will spot you. Your tactical options here aren't that great. You can observe from the window, which does nothing. You can move outside and jump onto some scaffolding, which is useful for making your way to the other two tactical options. From there you can either go through the short subway tunnel or you can use the Humvees turret to wipe everyone out. There are a lot of enemies to take care of, and a turret will slice through them rather nicely, but if you want a better vantage point, go through the subway tunnel. When you come out, cloak and move along the left side. There will undoubtedly be at least 3 soldiers lined up on the sidewalk. If you can take care of them, there's a turret mounted on a roadblock here. You can easily annhilate the Humvee from this point. You can try to stealth the whole thing, but making the cloak last long enough is difficult, to say the least. When you get on the bridge, look for grenades and ammo by the semi, then move away. If the soldiers and two Humvees on the other side of the truck find out you're there, they'll start throwing grenades and shooting, which will inevitably make the truck explode. Which hurts. You could stealth this, but, especially with those grenades available, it's just easier to wipe them out. Further on you'll encounter another force of soldiers, including some that rappel in further down the bridge. After the bridge collapses, the area will be filled with dust, so you'll need to use nanovision to make out enemies. The upside is, they'll also have a hard time spotting you. When you get to the end of the collapsed section of bridge, the dust will clear and you'll have four tactical options available to you: Observe, Stealth, Grenade, and Avoid. No matter what you do, the area is crawling with bad guys, and there's a tank at the very end of the road. Your destination is an area off to the right with an unmanned tank in it. Once you get to the tank, don't get in yet. Instead, go Southwest. You should pass the entrance to the area that you're in, and then come to another section that's partially walled off. In here there is an open container with some weapons, ammo boxes, and grenade boxes. There's also a Key laying on the ground in here. Now hop in the tank. Right Trigger is the accelerator, Left Trigger is the brake. Right Bumper fires the autocannon, while the Left Bumper fires rockets. Blow open the cracked wall in front of you and prepare to take on a Humvee, another tank, and some soldiers. Once they're down, move forward. A Humvee comes out of the tunnel as you enter it. Also, as soon as you're able to look out of the right side of the tunnel and see a ship sinking, you'll find another tank to commandeer. Useful if yours has taken a beating. Keep driving the tank and you should get a Speeding Ticket automatically from a camera in the tunnel. You'll encounter a couple of checkpoints as you progress through the tunnel. They usually consist of a bunch of soldiers and a vehicle. Once you exit the tunnel, don't get in a rush, because two tanks will come down the street. Stay in the right lane and take out the tank that rushes you. The yellow container ahead of you will function as cover from the other tank's fire. Take them both down, clear the parking lot ahead of soldiers, and get out of the vehicle. A single soldier comes busting out of the door as you get near it. Enter the area to end this chapter. | ======= | | | | Lab Rat | [W5] | | | ======= | Right at the beginning you'll have four tactical options to choose from: Stealth Kill, Smoke, Secure, and LedgeGrab. Stealth Kill is just you killing some guy after you jump out of the window. This will come naturally. Smoke is pretty useless in my opinion. You shoot the barrels and a small puff of smoke comes out. Before you move on to explore the other two tactical options, head left, onto the road above you. There are stairs leading up to it. Be careful, as a Humvee and some soldiers will be here. Follow it all the way to the end. Here, you'll see a wrecked blue car with a dead soldier next to it. A Key is laying on the ground next to them. Ledge Grab is just a way of getting over to the middle building with a bit more stealth. It doesn't really help at all. Secure is the small building in the middle. If you get on the roof, you'll find two turrets there. It's great for mowing down enemies, but ultimately, it's useless. The soldiers seem to spawn infinitely, so your best bet is to try and sneak through this area. Once inside the building, you'll find four guards floating around. Also, one of the first rooms you come across here has a table with a computer and monitor on it. There's also an E-mail on it. Now make your way to the elevator and hop on it. It'll automatically take you up. It's next to the turret, against a wall, if you're lost. At the top, eliminate three enemies and destroy the targeted server. A helicopter will start shooting at you from the windows. Take out the gunner and it'll fly away. Soldiers will start pouring onto the rooftop, however. Also, keep an eye on the elevator. A couple of enemies like to ride it up every once in a while. The chopper will come in again with another gunner, so take that one out, then continue to mop up the other soldiers. After they're gone, the heli comes back, this time with rockets. Activate Armor mode and press Right on the D-Pad to pull out a rocket launcher. Hit the chopper once and it'll crash into your building. If the helicopter doesn't do it for you, head through the hole in the floor. Before moving on, look on a box near one of the windows in this room for a Souvenir. Head to the bottom of the staircase and shoot the padlock on the floor to drop below the building. Make your way around to the next set of stairs, climb up to the top of the small building, and run across the wrecked yellow crane. As you approach the front of Gould's apartment, be on the lookout for four more enemies. Once inside, take the elevator up and sit in the chair Gould has laid out for you. After you get back up, he'll lead you into another room. Look on a bookshelf on the wall to your left as you enter for a Dog Tag. After the speech, move out the front door and into the elevator, if you're looking to stay stealthy. A soldier will bust through the door at the end of the hall. You'll have to deal with multiple enemies as you move through the next apartment. Once you reach the window, the chapter ends. | ============ | | | | Gate Keepers | [W6] | | | ============ | For now, just run and jump across rooftops. There are no enemies here. When you reach what looks like a dead end, the roof with two water towers next to each other, you'll need to drop down. Look for the low wall surrounding the outside of the roof to be broken, and drop down from there. When you go all the way down and hop on the metal platform, it breaks and you'll fall the rest of the way to the ground. Get off and go left, then look left again. You should see an alley going back between the buildings you just crossed. Go in here and look on the steps for a Key. Move forward and you'll come across aliens battling soldiers. Be careful because the soldiers have an APC with them. Try to take out the aliens yourself so you can grab the nanocatalysts from their corpses. There are plenty of soldiers at the next checkpoint, and your best bet here will be to stealth around them by going through the small garage on the left side of the street and into the next building. Once you're back on the rooftop, you'll find a lone guard. Take him out and you've got two tactical options: Snipe or Flank. Sniping isn't really going to do anything except stir up the hornet's nest. Your best bet is to stealth into each objective, set the fuse, then stealth to the next one. Before you blow the objectives, move to the front (Southeast) doors of the church itself and look on one of the boxes for a Souvenir. Also, run down the street to the Southwest of the church to get a Speeding Ticket. After you blow up both objective, head into the marked trailer and pull the switch. Also, grab the E-mail on the table in here. Head down to the gate on street level and go inside. You will probably have to engage the guards around here. The chapter ends after this. | ================ | | | | Dead Man Walking | [W7] | | | ================ | At the beginning, activate armor mode and jump off the balcony here. The armor will absorb the damage. You'll have a few options here, although you will probably want/have to do them all. First, get onto the adjacent rooftop, wipe out all the enemies here, and start sniping soldiers on the opposite rooftop. This isn't necessary, especially if you are going stealth, but you will have to get over to that rooftop anyway, so it can't hurt to lighten the load once you're there. Now, move into the next building. You need to make your way down, towards the Enter option. Here you'll find two blocks of C4, which you'll need later on. While you're on the ground, you should also run over to the other building, the one with the blue objective on the roof, and follow the wall ALL the way around to the other side. It's quite a walk, but at the end you'll find a Key next to a teddy bear. Anyway, after you get the key, go back to the building with the Infiltrate option and make your way to the top. There are more guys up here, on the bridge leading across to the next building. When you take them out, you'll also have to deal with whoever is left on that rooftop and a helicopter. Once they're down, put some C4 on the door and blow it. There's another weapon cache to the left of here, on the roof, with more C4 and goodies if you need them. Once inside, go downstairs and deal with the three enemies here. In the security booth, use the terminal, grab the E-mail next to it, and grab the Souvenir on the other counter. Now get inside the elevator and ride it down. Once you get out, go left, jump over the poles, and grab the Dog Tag on the floor. Meet up with Gould. After you get into the chair, you'll watch a lengthy cutscene. After you fall out of the helicopter and regain control, grab a gun and start killing aliens. A short time later, you'll be tasked with running away, so do it. The chapter ends when you move out of the area. | ============= | | | | Seat of Power | [W8] | | | ============= | The first part of this is just a lot of walking. When you reach the area with all the infected people and the tents, keep an eye out for two guys sitting on a cot to your left. Enter the tent/building behind them look on a desk to the right for a Dog Tag. Keep going until you enter the next big building with the flags hanging outside. Look on the desk in the entrance room for an E-mail and a shotgun. Go upstairs. When you get to a room with multiple tables and computers, look on a desk on the left side for a Souvenir. Also note that as you move through here, you can melee the little spiders for 20 nanocatalysts a pop. Keep going until you exit this building. The next area is crawling with aliens. You can stealth your way through this, but they have valuable nanocatalysts, so you might as well destroy them. Once you get through the next building and outside again, Hargreave will speak to you once more. At this point, you should notice a monorail with a big chunk missing out of the middle of it. Get on top of it via the stairs on the left side and make your way over to the dead guy sitting in a chair. There's a Key next to him. The area ahead is filled with aliens. After you kill them, more drop in, so be careful. It's still relatively easy if you use proper cover and conserve ammo, and the payoff in nanocatalysts is worth it. After you take them all out, you'll move up an inclined piece of road. Sprint up it to get a Speeding Ticket. At the top, you'll have to deal with more aliens, including a big, hulking son of a bitch that takes a hell of a lot of damage. This guy also has some kind of rapid fire machine gun, and a large EMP rocket launcher type weapon. He works well at practically ever range, so you'll have to use cover extensively to take him down. Once he's dead, move on, into the pipe, to end the chapter. | ========== | | | | Dark Heart | [W9] | | | ========== | There will be a few spiders to kill at the beginning of the subway, but the area quickly becomes populated by aliens. Once you eliminate the first group and move forward a bit, you'll be presented with some tactical options. You can use the Ledge Grab to jump from the top of the wrecked subway car up to the catwalks. There's a rocket launcher up there. At the foot of the stairs, however, there are grenade and ammo boxes. Also, if you look to the right from those boxes, you'll see an open door. Explore the room through here to find a Dog Tag. If you go to the door with the Explore tactical option over it, you'll eventually come to a room with a weapon box and an LMG. It's not a turret, so it's not quite as powerful and it takes up a weapon slot, but it's well worth it. This MG packs a punch and you'll be able to pick up more ammo for it as well. No matter what you do, remember that this area is still crawling with aliens AND explosive barrels/materials. Shoot wisely. Keep going until Hargreave speaks to you again. You should've seen the shadow on the wall of the little spider up ahead. At this point, go left through the opening and grab the Souvenir laying on the floor in there. Kick open the next door. In the next area, you should see some orange scaffolding and you will receive three tactical options. Use the Ledge Grab to get onto the scaffolding. Up here you'll find a sniper rifle if you want it and another Dog Tag. Keep moving and you will come across a weapon box with an X-43 Mike next to it. A unique weapon, you might want to pick it up. Move to the end of the tunnel and light the fuse on the barrel to continue on. When you next get some tactical options, you'll find yourself in a large room filled with aliens. One of them is the juggernaut kind with the shield and tons of armor. Use the X-43 Mike to microwave lesser aliens, making them explode. When you finally kill the juggernaut alien, which shouldn't take as long as it did before, hurry up and grab the 500 nanocatalysts from his corpse. Those things don't stick around for long. Sabotage the vein at the bottom and then head towards the Exit tactical option. You'll come across another large room with another vein to sabotage. Here, you have the standard and generally useless Flank option. You also have Snipe, Neutralize, and Ascend, which is your way out of here. Sniping here is very useful. There are a lot of enemies down there, and they will come rushing you, so on higher difficulties, sniping may even be required. Neutralize refers to the juggernaut alien hiding out next to the vein. You'll probably have to take him down. He has the high ground, a good vantage point, and he doesn't like to move. Grenades will be very helpful here. If you prefer to just rush down there and get the job down, you'll find a useful "cubby hole" in the middle. It's a container that's been tore open, accessed by the green mesh platform. There's a weapon in here, along with grenade and ammo boxes. Now on to the last vein. When you start getting close, some aliens will rush you. One of them is larger than the others, but not as large or as tough as the juggernaut aliens, so don't worry, especially if you still have the X-43. All of the aliens in this area are particularly aggressive, especially the juggernaut. He will rush the hell out of you. Try to move forward and take out most of the other aliens, then draw him back onto the broken highway. If you can get him to the spot where you had to jump down, between that spot and the container with an ammo box next to it, you can easily look down and drill him in the head to finish him off quickly. After you sabotage the last vein, enter the main structure. Once it spits you out, you'll have to do some button pressing to crawl back up onto the road. From here, just run to the finish line. You won't make it before the flood sweeps you away, but you can still give it your best shot. This ends the chapter. | ================ | | | | Semper Fi or Die | [W10] | | | ================ | Grab your pistol when it prompts you to and move around the area, collecting nanocatalysts from the dead aliens. Follow the lead Marine forward and he'll take you right to a small ammo cache. From here, you'll have a few tactical options. First, run over to the Resupply tac option. There's an ammo box here, but you can also trade your Majestic pistol for a Ranged version. Now make your way to Grenade for a grenade box, and then over to Support for a rocket launcher. If you go over to the Explore tac option and follow this ledge, you will come across an SMG with a red dot sight. Move forward and you'll come across more tactical options and an area filled with aliens. The Snipe option is useful here, although you may be forfeiting some nanocatalysts. Still, if you get up to it, you'll be right by a store called SuperSavin'. Go inside here and look on the counter for a Souvenir. Flank and Stealth are just two different ways of tackling the situation. You will have to eventually step in and start helping out or your Marines will get trashed. Once you whittle down the first group, a dropship dumps more aliens out and also starts shooting at you, so take cover. After you clear them out, move into the next room. This area has a bunch of weapons, an ammo and grenade box, and some C4, so stock up. There are a lot of ammo and grenade boxes and weapons in the next area, too, but there are also a lot of aliens here. The Use tac option refers to a turret. Clear this area out and move forward. A dropship will dump some more aliens ahead of you, including a juggernaut alien. Kill them and move on. After you hear comm chatter, you'll get a tactical option: Drive. It's a Humvee just ahead. Before you get in it, hop on the overturned black container to your left and get up to the small platform. Kick the car off, then sprint off the edge towards a camera mounted on a sideways pole to get a Speeding Ticket. Drive a Humvee a short distance, then get out and move forward to meet up with some Marines. Here, you can move to the ship on the right to provide cover. There are weapons and ammo up here, including a sniper and a grenade launcher. Once you clear the aliens out, move forward and you'll be tasked with holding the position filled with ammo and weapons. From here, you will have to fight off two or three waves of enemies. One of those waves includes a juggernaut alien. After they're down, you'll have to deal with the dropship, which will continually perform strafing runs on your position. It's quick and hard to hit, but you have plenty of toys to play with. You can use a rocket launcher or a heavy turret, but the SWARMER deals a lot of damage if you can land all the hits. There are several SWARMER's floating around this area. Once the ship is down, jump up to the ledge and continue on. You will come across an overturned amublance before long. It's next to a supply truck, an ammo box, and a dead body. Next to the body you'll find a Dog Tag. Now move into the tunnel to end this chapter. | ================== | | | | Corporate Collapse | [W11] | | | ================== | At the beginning, move forward and enter the wrecked bus to your right. At the end you'll find a body with a Key next to it. At this point you'll also engage a few aliens. Move forward until you receive some tactical options. Stealth is a great way to not only get behind them, but to also nab the a Souvenir. Swim down and through the hole in the head of the Statue of Liberty to find it, along with a grenade box. The Use option refers to a standard turret, and the Take option refers to a building where most of the aliens are centered at. At the bottom you'll find ammo and weapons, including grenade launchers. Once you've taken all of the enemies down, make your way to the Use Turret tac options and hop inside the tank. Blow open a way into the parking garage, and deal with the aliens that drop down, including a juggernaut. They are easily dealt with in this vehicle. Once inside the parking garage, you'll have to fight your way through a load of CELL soldiers, including two Humvees. Once inside the actual building, it doesn't get any easier. The first room is filled with enemies. When you first enter the main building, go into the room to your left, before you hit the metal detector. You should see a big sign on the wall that says Hargreave Rasch Life Insurance. Look on the counter to the right of it to find an E-mail. Down the next hallway you'll find a soldier on a turret. You may want to rip that turret off, you'll probably need it. The rest of the way is clear of enemies, at least until you reach the security terminal. Use it, and the room will start flooding with CELL personnel. This is where that turret comes in handy. One of them also has a grenade launcher. Once they're all down, use the terminal again, and this time the room will start flooding...literally. After you get sucked out of the building and regain control, go back underwater. There's a wrecked car underwater, very close to you and the surface. Look next to it for a Dog Tag. From here, just keep moving through the tunnels. You won't be able to do anything about the firefight happening above you, so ignore it. You will eventually get back on street level and enter an open area with a huge alien mech in the middle. This part is tricky. You have to shoot at the red spots on the back of it to deal damage. Also, this thing will not only obliterate you easily, but it also sends out an EMP pulse that drains your energy to zero. You will have to be clever with the cloak and armor here. The building that you're in isn't a good place to be. If you go up to the Explore tac option, you'll find some C4 and grenades, which are good if you've got good aim. The mech tends to roam around below this platform anyway, so it's worth a shot. If you go down and through the buses, you'll come to a hole with a rocket launcher inside. This is the Acquire tac options. You can also continue around this area in a circle, moving through the store next to the hole and up to the room with the Resupply tac option on it. There's another rocket launcher in here. Just keep darting in and out of cover and hitting this thing sporadically. Use cloak to get around, and use armor if you want to stay out in the open for a bit or if you want to start throwing grenades under it. After a while it'll finally die, and when it does, you can go to the pieces and collect 2000 nanocatalysts. Regroup with the vehicles to end this chapter. | ============== | | | | Train to Catch | [W12] | | | ============== | When you first see Marines, you'll have to deal with a couple of aliens. There is more ammo and a weapon in the next building. When you get to the rooftop area, you'll be presented with three tactical options: Stealth, Use and Take. Take refers to an ammo box with some C4 and a rocket launcher next to it. Use refers to a turret on top of the small building here, and Stealth is just a slightly sneakier route to get to one of the missile batteries. Before you do any of that, you'll have to actually pass through the checkpoint gate. Sprint through it to get a Speeding Ticket from the camera on a pole on the left side of the street literally just past the checkpoint gate. You will have to bring two missile batteries online. The one to your right as you pass through the checkpoint is bound to give you the most trouble. There will be aliens crawling all over it, including one up high, so watch yourself. The one on the far left should be relatively simple, and after you've activated both of them, you just need to mop up the rest of the opposition. Enter the building and grab the Souvenir off of the desk in front of you. Now go up the stairs and head to the middle. Activate armor mode so you can walk through the fire up here. If you're looking for an achievement, bring up your visor and look right. You should see a tactical option called Scan. With your visor still up, move towards it and press X over the hexagonal symbol when it appears on your HUD to get Literary Agent. Keep moving until you're outside again. You'll have to assist some Marines fighting aliens. The Take tac option here refers to a grenade launcher. Escort the Marines to another batch of aliens. Here you'll find some turrets, one on the platform directly ahead of you and one near the exit. The very next area has a couple of aliens that are easily dispatched. However, try to get your hands on a heavy turret ASAP, because a juggernaut alien will drop right next to you. Sustained turret fire at mid-to-close range will chew him up. Head into the next building. When the door opens, enter, but then turn left and head into the side room before you go down the tunnel. There's a Key in here. Ahead you'll find a weapons cache, and once outside you'll be thrust back into the heat of battle. Aside from multiple regular aliens, a huge juggernaut alien also comes into play, rendering the Stealth tac option kind of useless. Still, you've got a big turret there to play with. Once they're all down, open the gate and hop inside the Humvee to end the chapter. | ============ | | | | Unsafe Haven | [W13] | | | ============ | After you have to open the gate, you'll come face to face with three aliens. Take them down and move up to the military barricade. Jump up here and continue on to the Staff Sergeant. After he talks to you and opens the gate, go straight forward to the end of this platform and look for a Dog Tag on a stack of small brown boxes. When you move forward, you might want to use a lower route, especially if you are going stealth. There are aliens on the bridge and on a platform to the right. When you reach the courtyard type area, you'll find a whole lot more enemies, extending all the way to the Onyx building itself. Stealth is a great, albeit difficult, way to get through this. When you get to the street that runs directly in front of the Onyx building (the one with the broken monorail and tram car crashed into it), go to the Southwest end and sprint to get a Speeding Ticket from a camera down here. When you enter the room and have to press the button to open the garage door, look on a desk to the right of that button for a Souvenir. Go through the open garage door and arm the three detonators. When you arm the last one, the lights will go out and aliens will enter the parking garage. Take them out, but be prepared for a juggernaut alien when you exit, plus more regular aliens scattered around. Once they're down, make your way to the left side of the building with the objective in it and jump up through the hole. Go to the opposite side and use the elevator shaft to get up to the next floor, then go back to the other side and grab the transmitter. Watch out for aliens all through this excursion. After you fall to the ground during the cutscene, fight your way back to the stronghold and take out the juggernaut alien on the street. Move into the door to end the chapter. | ======== | | | | Terminus | [W14] | | | ======== | The first part of this is just walking around. When you finally meet up with Gould and Barclay, go to the table to your left and pick up a Dog Tag. Get into the elevator with Barclay. At the top, after he leads you into another room, look on the table in the middle for a Souvenir. You'll eventually be sent up to hold the line while the people are being evacuated. Immediately get on a turret and start pounding the juggernaut alien before he can get close. Mop up the others, and more aliens will come through, along with a mech. The regular aliens won't stop spawning, so just focus on the mech. The stores on the right, on street level, are a good place to run around in. Once the mech is down, don't forget to pick up the nanocatalysts. Hop in the Humvee to end this chapter. | ========= | | | | Power Out | [W15] | | | ========= | Follow the Marine for a bit. Before you move through the checkpoint that has the "Evac Center" marquee on top of it, look inside the short trailer to the right of it for a Key. Right after you pass through the checkpoint, get on the left sidewalk and double back. You should be able to enter a place called Amim's Sandwich Bar. Look on the counter for a Souvenir. Also, sprint through the checkpoint or somewhere just in front of it to get a Speeding Ticket from a camera in front of the checkpoint. Now that you've got all that out of the way, move to the objective. Here you'll be presented with an area you must defend from aliens and two tactical options. The Search tac option points you to a small building with some ammo and weapons inside, including a rocket launcher. The Use Turret is just one of a few heavy turrets mounted around this area. You'll have to deal with a few waves of aliens here. The first wave contains a juggernaut alien. Once they're all down, you'll have to deal with another mech. You'll have plenty of room to manuever, and there's no shortage of rocket launchers or other heavy weaponry laying around. What makes this one so annoying are the constant smaller aliens that run around the area, giving away your position. Once the mech is down, pick up his nanocatalysts and move to the choppers. Before you get on, look on a table next to a truck to the right of your objective for a Dog Tag. Enter the huge structure to sabotage it. After you revive yourself, crawl forward and jump up to the helicopter to end this chapter. | ================ | | | | Eye of the Storm | [W16] | | | ================ | Swim to the island and activate your cloak. You can and should probably try to stealth most of this first part. There are just loads of enemies around here, and stealth is a viable option, if you keep an eye on your energy meter. Try to make it to the ruined houses before you have to uncloak for the first time. When you get close to the building covered in vines, you'll be presented with some options. Stealth is obviously the best way of getting inside undetected. If you go in the front door on the ground floor, look to your right and grab the E-mail on the table. Stealthing your way through the building is very easy. After Hargreave tells you about the EMP trap, move under the door and jump up to the second floor. Turn around and jump to a very small ledge to get up to the third floor. Make your way to the substation. If you want the Souvenir in the watchtower to the right, you may have to break stealth for a bit. You'll need to get on top of the big platform next to the tower and jump to it from there. There's a soldier in the tower, obviously. The rest of the substation is crawling with enemies, and you should and can easily circumvent all of them using stealth and a route on the far right. Basically, just go straight from the watchtower to the front door of the building and use the elevator, all without being spotted. When you get out of the elevator, move forward until you see a guy. You can take him out silently. In the next room, follow the walkway around to the room on the other side and look in it for an E-mail. You will probably have to dispatch the two guards here. You can avoid the other guards if you want, but you might have to deal with them eventually anyway. Rush in and kill the power. You will have to use nanovision to see, and if you equip that AND stealth mode, your energy will drain real quick. It's easier to just run and gun until you're halfway through the next big room, then stealth and run for the elevator. Back up top, get around the perimeter wall and move towards the objective. Once inside the garage, you'll be caught in Lockhart's EMP trap, which as we both know, turns out to be a dud. When the side door opens, run in, stock up on weapons, grab the Dog Tag on one of the boxes, and then melee the padlock on the grating on the floor and drop down. Now make your way to Lockhart's building. There is practically no easy way to do this. It's a fortress, and stealth isn't an option. There's only one way in, and it's filled with enemy. Your best bet is to get as close as possible with stealth, which should be on the little bridge thing, and then bust your way inside. Go up the stairs, activate armor mode, and power kick the door down. Press the Right Trigger when prompted to finally put Lockhart out of his misery. Look on a desk in here after you do for an E-mail. Also, you can pick up Lockhart's Gauss Rifle. Now stealth your way over to the objective. Take out the three guards and raise the door to end the chapter. | ========= | | | | Masks Off | [W17] | | | ========= | Hop in the elevator. Up top you can grab a Stealth Scarab if that's more your style. On this floor, you can keep going straight ahead to flank around the enemies at the checkpoint. However you do it, move up the stairs and enter the first door you come across. This will be the tac option Explore. You'll find a weapon in here along with a Dog Tag right in front of it. Keep going up the stairs and into the next area. This place is filled with guards, and you will definitely be better off stealthing your way along the left side. You'll have to kill the final guard just before Hargreave's room, but it's no big deal. Enter Hargreave's room. When the next set of doors open, you'll get a look at the real Hargreave. There's a container in here on the right with an X-43 Mike. Go back out and pick up the Souvenir on the table with the syringe, then the syringe itself. After the cutscene, run up the stairs and get out of there. After you kick a crate out of the way, look on the floor to the left in that next room for an E-mail. You'll have to shut off the power via the switch on the left wall to cross the water. Turn it back on again on the other side so you can use the keypad and open the gate. Once outside, you'll be facing a bunch of aliens. If you have the X-43, this won't be too difficult. Still, there's a big juggernaut alien amongst them. The middle building with the helipad on top holds a lot of weapons and ammo. The next building you need to move through also has a few enemies in it. Get to the elevator and use it. Outside you'll link up with some allies fighting more aliens. Clear them out and move on, under the garage door. Here you'll have three tactical options: Snipe, Flank, and Avoid. Avoid is the best solution to the problem ahead. A ton of aliens, including two of the juggernaut types roam that area. Better to just run/jump past them and over to the elevators. Once you get to the bridge, look by the ammo box for another X-43 Mike. You'll have to deal with a load of enemies here, including two juggernaut aliens. There's plenty of ammo laying around though. After you pass through the checkpoint under the green signs that say 2 Ave-South and 1 Ave-North, keep an eye out for a pole in the middle of the road that brances into two horizontal beams. The right-most beam has a 25 mph speed limit sign on it, and above that, a camera. Sprint in front of it for a Speeding Ticket and the achievement. Keep going to end the chapter. | ================ | | | | Out of the Ashes | [W18] | | | ================ | Move forward and jump up to Tara and Gould. Now move forward and get some weapons, grenades, and ammo from the cache next to the vehicle. Before you get in it, move to the end of the area on foot. There's a gate at the end. Just before you get to that gate, look on the right side for some yellow barrels and a big slab of busted concrete/debris. A Key is on this slab. Now hop inside the tank. You'll be on the turret as you barrel through the city. Eventually you'll have to take down a large juggernaut alien. At this point, enemies will start dropping from the sky, so stay ready on the guns. You will also have to deal with a mech, though it's pretty easy to take out with this kind of firepower. Once the tank is out of commission, you'll need to move into the next building. Aliens are all over on the outside, and you'd probably be better off simply swinging around to the far right and using the Stealth tac option to bypass them. The Take tac option refers to some C4. Once you get to the elevators, look inside the one that's already open and grab the Dog Tag. Ride the elevator up and go right when you get out. Keep going until you enter an open area. You should see what looks like a couple of hotel rooms crashed into your building. Get up to the top one and look next to the bed, right on the edge, for a Souvenir. If you go left when you get out of the elevators, you can follow a Stealth option over to a turret that you can use to wipe out most of the opposition here. Once it's clear, move to the balcony-type thing and open your visor. Hit X to mark the dropship flying around in front of you. This calls in the airstrike. Now move into the window with the turret in it, go up the stairs and out the hole. The next rooftop is crawling with enemies. You can easily stealth this, but if you don't want to stealth it, the Take tac option refers to a Gauss Rifle. You can use it to take down the juggernaut alien. You'll see him if you look towards the blue objective while standing where you pick up the gauss rifle. If you do engage them, be prepared for another juggernaut alien to drop in near the biggest top-most greenhouse. You'll need to move over here anyway if you want a Dog Tag. You will have to get on top of that biggest greenhouse. There's a dead body on the roof and the tag is next to it. | ================== | | | | A Walk in the Park | [W19] | | | ================== | For now, just follow the path and enjoy the view. Keep an eye out for a bus on your left side as you move along. Look in it, next to the driver's seat, for a Key. After the huge chunk of ground falls away, you'll have to take out two aliens, and then you'll enter an area filled with aliens. There's plenty of ammo to be had, as Tara points out. The Flank option can be useful, but it cuts you off from the raised chunks of ground you just came from, and they are a nice fallback point when things start to get heavy. The Ambush tac option refers to some C4 and an ammo box, and the Use Turret refers to the turret on a Humvee. This is a nice bit of firepower, so use it. Remember to break it off and take it with you though. If you stay in the Humvee you are just a sitting duck for the juggernaut alien. After you deal with the first group of enemies, another wave drops in, including another huge shielded foe. Take them out and move forward. Another wave will drop in, mostly composed of the slightly heavier variants of aliens that have single shot rifles and drop 300 nanocatalysts. Move up the hill. Keep an eye out on your right for two containers, one is yellow and one is black/gray. The black/gray one has doors that are partially open. Shoot the red barrel inside to blow them open. Move inside the container to find an X-43 Mike and the very last Souvenir, which should get you the achievement. You'll come to a point where you can go downstairs and through three arches. Do that and you'll find a bunch of weapons and ammo boxes. Also, look on the left wall for a Dog Tag. Now you'll have to use the two tactical options available to sabotage the spore veins. Both are relatively easy and guarded by a few aliens each. Once they're down, a huge spore drops in that you need to sabotage. I recommend trying to pick most of the aliens here off from a safe distance. When you get close to the spore, more will drop in. If you just rush in, you'll be trying to hold off enemies on all sides, including two juggernaut aliens. You can move back to the structure that you passed through, the one with the three arches. If you go up top, you'll find more ammo, some sniper rifles, and turrets. When you've killed everyone that they send, sabotage the final vein. Now move through the tube and towards the objective. Before you're allowed to enter, you'll have to deal with this game's version of the final boss: 4 cloaked spec-ops aliens that take an amazingly large amount of damage to kill. Nanovision can be used here, but even their thermal signatures are minute, and you'll probably be able to spot them better with the naked eye. Save your energy for Armor Mode, because you'll probably need it. There are two Volt SMGs down here that are good for stunning them, along with an ammo box. Just stay in motion, pelting them with fire. Luckily they usually only attack one or two at a time, while the other two stay up top and fire down at you. You can move out of their line of sight and deal with the ones on the ground. Each one drops 5,000 nanocatalysts, but at this point it's pretty irrelevant. Once they're all dead, move forward into the spire, ignoring the other aliens. In here, activate armor mode when it tells you to and do all of the button pressing necessary to finally end the game. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ || || || Collectibles || || || +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ | ======== | | | | Dog Tags | [L1] | | | ======== | 1. At the very beginning of the 2nd chapter, Second Chance, look on the table to your right for the Dog Tag. 2. In the 3rd chapter, Sudden Impact. After you get your first nanosuit upgrade, you'll have to drop into a tunnel/canal and fight your way through it. Your foes include both soldiers and aliens. At the end, there are two doors on the right hand wall. The furthrest one is the exit, but the one before that has this Dog Tag in it. Look on the couch. 3. In the 5th chapter, Lab Rat. Inside Gould's apartment, after he has you sit in the funky looking chair, he'll lead you into another room. In here, look on a bookcase on the left wall for the Dog Tag. 4. In the 7th chapter, Dead Man Walking. After get in the elevator and ride it down. When you exit, go left, over the poles, to find this Dog Tag laying on the floor. 5. In the 8th chapter, Seat of Power. You'll come to an area with a bunch of infected people and some rounded yellow tents/buildings. Keep an eye out for two guys still alive sitting on a cot to your left. Enter the tent behind them and look on a desk to the right for the Dog Tag. 6. In the 9th chapter, Dark Heart. Near the beginning you'll be presented with three tactical options: LedgeGrab, Explore, and Observe. Shortly after this you'll come to an area with catwalks above it. The stairs to get up there has grenade and ammo boxes next to it. From those boxes, turn right and go through the open doorway into the room. The Dog Tag is in here on the floor. 7. In the 9th chapter, Dark Heart. After acquiring the Souvenir and kicking the door, you'll be in a tunnel with orange scaffolding. Ledge Grab the first one to find this Dog Tag next to a dead body and a sniper rifle. 8. In the 10th chapter, Semper Fi or Die. After taking down the dropship near the end of the chapter, jump up and meet up with the Marine calling for you. Keep moving and you will soon come across an overturned ambulance to your right. There is an ammo box and a dead body in front of it. Look next to the body for this Dog Tag. 9. In the 11th chapter, Corporate Collapse. After you use the security terminal, the glass on the front of the building cracks and water pours in, then sucks you out. Once you regain control, go back underwater and look for a wrecked car very close to you. The Dog Tag is next to it. 10. In the 13th chapter, Unsafe Haven. After you meet up with the Staff Sergeant early in the chapter, he'll talk to you and open the gate. Walk straight forward to the end of the platform and you should see the Dog Tag sitting on a stack of small brown boxes. 11. In the 14th chapter, Terminus. Near the beginning, when you meet up with Gould and Barclay, check the table to your left for this Dog Tag. 12. In the 15th chapter, Power Out. After you destroy the mech and must get on a chopper. Don't move to the objective yet. Instead, look on a table next to a truck to the right of the objective for this Dog Tag. 13. In the 16th chapter, Eye of the Storm. After you get trapped in a garage and Lockhart uses the EMP trap on you, which turns out to be a dud. Head into the door that opens. There are weapons in here, along with floor grates that you'll need to melee open. The Dog Tag is in here on a box. 14. In the 17th chapter, Masks Off. When heading upstairs, enter the first door you come across. It's the one with the Explore tactical option in it. In here you'll find a box with a weapon in it on the floor. The Dog Tag is in front of this box. 15. In the 18th chapter, Out of the Ashes. After you get out of the tank, you will move into a building and into an elevator. Before you get into that elevator with the objective on it, look inside the other elevator. This Dog Tag is on the ground in here. 16. In the 18th chapter, Out of the Ashes. When you get to the rooftop with greenhouses on it, make your way to the biggest greenhouse/house here. You will need to get on the roof of that building and look for a dead body. The Dog Tag is next to it. 17. In the 19th chapter, A Walk in the Park. After fighting your first big batch of aliens, you will go up a hill and then have the option of going down some stairs and through three arches. Look on the left wall in here for the Dog Tag. | ======= | | | | E-mails | [L2] | | | ======= | 1. In the 2nd chapter, Second Chance. Just after you activate Stealth Mode for the first time, you'll move back outside and kill two guards. The E-mail is on a table in the middle of this area. 2. In the 5th chapter, Lab Rat. After you enter the large building near the beginning, look in one of the first rooms you come across for a table with a computer and a monitor on it. The E-mail is on this table. 3. In the 6th chapter, Gate Keepers. After blowing both the fuel and ammo dumps, you will have to enter a trailer and pull a switch. The E-mail is on a table inside the trailer. 4. In the 7th chapter, Dead Man Walking. After blowing open the doors on the roof and killing the enemies inside, you'll have to enter a security booth and use a keypad. In this booth, you'll find the E-mail next to the keypad. 5. In the 8th chapter, Seat of Power. Once you enter the building with the American flags hanging from it, look on the first desk here for the E-mail. There's also a shotgun next to it. 6. In the 11th chapter, Corporate Collapse. After you move through the parking garage and enter the Hargreave-Rasch building proper, move into the first room on your left, just before the metal detector. There is a sign in here on the wall that says Hargreave Rasch Life Insurance. Look on the counter to the right of that sign for the E-mail. 7. In the 16th chapter, Eye of the Storm. Enter the large building covered in vines via the front door and look to your right. The E-mail is on a table here. 8. In the 16th chapter, Eye of the Storm. The E-mail is in that room. 9. In the 16th chapter, Eye of the Storm. After you kill Lockhart, look around the room for this E-mail on a desk. 10. In the 17th chapter, Masks Off. After you meet Hargreave and use the syringe, you'll be running out of the area. You will have to kick a crate out of the way. Once you do, enter the room and look on the floor to the left for the E-mail. | ==== | | | | Keys | [L3] | | | ==== | 1. In the 3rd chapter, Sudden Impact. After you exit the parking garage, you'll come to a flight of stairs. Go up them and look for the Key next to a dead body. 2. In the 4th chapter, Road Rage. You'll come to a tank/APC type vehicle that you need to commandeer. Before you do that, head to the Southwest. You should pass the entrance to the area that you're in. Keep going and you will find another partially walled off section with an open container inside. This container has weapons, ammo and grenade boxes, and the Key. 3. In the 5th chapter, Lab Rat. At the beginning, just after you jump out of the window, head left (Northwest) onto the road here. Follow it to the end, past the wrecked semis. At the end you should find a wrecked car with a dead soldier next to it. The Key is on the ground here. 4. In the 6th chapter, Gate Keepers. After jumping across rooftops, you should jump onto a small metal platform which then falls to the ground. Once down there, go left and turn left again. Go down that alley that cuts between the buildings you just crossed and look on the steps back here for the Key. 5. In the 7th chapter, Dead Man Walking. In the beginning area, if you follow the wall of the building with the blue objective on it around to the Southwest, you'll find the Key on a planter next to a teddy bear. 6. In the 8th chapter, Seat of Power. After taking out your first group of aliens, you'll go through another building and exit outside again. Move forward and you should notice a monorail with a big chunk missing from the middle. Use the stairs on the left side to get up on top of it, and then make your way over to the dead guy sitting in a chair. The Key is next to him. 7. In the 11th chapter, Corporate Collapse. At the very beginning, move forward and enter the wrecked bus to your right. At the end you'll find a body with the Key next to it. 8. In the 12th chapter, Train to Catch. After fighting one of the big aliens with a shield, you'll enter a decontamination chamber. The door will open for you to proceed down an orange tunnel. Before you do, check the small side room to the left for the Key. 9. In the 15th chapter, Power Out. At the beginning you'll have to pass through a checkpoint with "Evac Center" scrolling along in a marquee at the top of it. Before you do that, look in the short trailer to the right of it for the Key. 10. In the 18th chapter, Out of the Ashes. At the beginning, do NOT get inside the vehicle. Instead, move to the end of this area on foot. At the end there is a gate. Just before you reach it, look to your right for some yellow barrels and a big slab of busted concrete/debris. The Key is on this slab. 11. In the 19th chapter, A Walk in the Park. Near the beginning, if you follow the path, you will see a bus to your left. Go inside and look near the driver's seat for the Key. | ========= | | | | Souvenirs | [L4] | | | ========= | Collecting all of these yields the Tourist achievement. 1. In the 2nd chapter, Second Chance. After passing through the park and getting the achievement for it, you'll be on a city street. At the end you will be forced to go left and move through a store. In that store, look on the counter for the Souvenir, a Statue of Liberty. 2. In the 3rd chapter, Sudden Impact. After you pick up the Key in this chapter, if you bring up your visor you will see three yellow tactical options. Look North for the option called Explore. If you go there you'll find a garage that you can go through which takes you directly to the crash site. The Souvenir, a taxi, is in the booth just before you leave the garage. You'll have to charge up a melee attack to bust down the door. If you don't use the yellow tactical option, the garage exits into the crash site, so just go there and look around on the bottom area for it. The booth in question will be just inside the door. 3. In the 4th chapter, Road Rage. At the very beginning, move into the next room, then turn right and head up the stairs. Turn around and enter the room behind the stairs. Look in the corner next to the "God Help Us" painted on the wall for this Souvenir, which is a cop car. 4. In the 5th chapter, Lab Rat. After shooting down the helicopter and entering the hole it made. Look around the room you're in, the one with the wrecked chopper in it. This Souvenir, New York City itself, is on a box near a window. 5. In the 6th chapter, Gate Keepers. You'll come across the Wall Street Church. At this point, you'll be tasked with blowing up a fuel dump and an ammo dump. Go up to the front doors of the church, the Southeast doors, and look on one of the boxes for this Souvenir, a model of the church itself. 6. In the 7th chapter, Dead Man Walking. After you blow open the doors on the roof and kill all the enemies inside, you'll have to enter a security booth and use a keypad. The Souvenir, a model of a hot dog stand, is on a counter in here. 7. In the 8th chapter, Seat of Power. After entering the building with the flags hanging from it and grabbing the E-mail, you will go upstairs. Keep going until you reach a room with multiple tables with computers on them. Look on a table on the left side for the Souvenir, a model of city hall. 8. In the 9th chapter, Dark Heart. You'll come to a point where you will see a large and ominous looking shadow of one of the little spiders on the wall.
