As you can tell from my user name, my name is Gamer364. This guide is designed to help all players playing this game unlock all the achievements/trophies. I know you guys probably don't like long Intros, so I'll get on with the guide already. Warring: This guide can and will contain spoilers. I will do my best to not spoil stuff from the game, but sometimes it just can not be helped, so read at your own risk. ****************************************************************************** | Act 3: Achievement/Trophy Overview | ****************************************************************************** Achievement/trophy difficulty: 1.5/5 (in General) 2.5/5 (1-man band FC) (see Practice Makes Perfect for clarification) 3/5 (The Final Countdown achievement/trophy for Experts) 3.5/5 (The Final Countdown achievement/trophy for Non-Experts) Number of Achievements: 49 Number of Trophies: 50 Least amount of playthroughs to get all Achievements/Trophies: 1 (but you will have to replay songs in Quickplay for cetain achievements/trophies) Number of Missable Achievements/Trophies: None Details: In Carrer Mode, you can playthrough this mode in one of three ways: 1. Playing your favorite instrument on your prefered difficulty setting* 2. Doing Carrer Mode on Super Easy Vocals and maxed out sensitivity** 3. Doing Carrer Mode on Expert Guitar if you're good on that setting with the Guitar (so you would have a chance to do the achievement/trophy "The Final Countdown" while doing Carrer Mode) *For me, that would either be Medium Guitar/Bass, Easy Drums or Easy/Super Easy Vocals **Pretty boring, but you'll have most of the achievements/trophies without doing too much of anything and you can do something else while the song's playing like playing Pokemon, looking at this guide, planing out what your are going to do for a certain game like KOTOR (the 1st or The Sith Lords), etc. For those that don't know what I mean by "maxed out Sensitivity" and how to do it, I mean that you are able to adjust the Mic's Sensitivity, but as far as I know you can only do this when you've just started a song.* As for how to do it, in a song, you press and hold the Y/Triangle button and move the slider to the right. *Well, you might be able to do this in the middle of a song as well, but who knows when the lyrics are going to show during a song? After you've tooken care of everything related to Carrer Mode, all their is left to do is to go into Quickplay mode, clean up what ever achievements/trophies you didn't get in Carrer Mode and that's it. Do note that "The Final Countdown" Achievement/Trophy can be a pain in the @$$ if your not an Expert with the Guitar controler. Not too many details for an achievement/trophy guide I know, but their's not that much to do with it when it comes to getting 100% in this game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Act 4: The Game's Non-Secret Achievements/Trophies and How to unlock them - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A. New to the Scene Description: Complete your first gig on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Veteran Performer for details. B. Tour de Force Description: Play at every venue on the World Tour Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Veteran Performer for details. C. Veteran Performer Description: Complete all gigs on the World Tour (except for the Rock Marathon Setlist and Endless Setlist) Gamerscore: 50 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: This one basicly requires you to play and replay a lot of gigs (200 total gigs to unlock them all, give or take). Just play through all the gigs you can and if the game tells you to play a gig, do it (even if you're certain that you've already played the gig). In the Make your own Setlist gigs, choose the songs with the shortest time you have available to you (if you want to speed this up and time each song you have if you're not sure) or the songs you actually enjoy playing so it's not as bad of chore. Here are the songs that takes the least amount of time to playthrough below: In-Game Songs 1. A-Punk - Vampire Weekend 2. Song 2 - Blur 3. We Will Rock You - Queen DLC Songs 1. Charlene (I'm Right Behind You) - Steven and the Colberts (Free DLC song) 2. Thank You Boys - Jane's Addiction (the shortest song in the game from what I read and it cost 160 MSP or $1.99 PSN) To speed this up, this game does give you the option to do the Shorten versions of the songs. Do so and the time it takes to do all of the songs will be reduced. I only recommend this for songs you don't necessarily like and/or if you want to get 100% as fast as you can, as the songs will end abrubtly if you do the Shorten versions of the songs and it doesn't work with all songs in the game as they are already short on their own (like the ones I've mentioned above). I don't recommend doing this if you want to try to get the achievement/trophy "The Final Countdown", as that achievement/trophy requires you to 100% the chart's solo, it doesn't show up in the Shorten version and you have to be playing on an Expert Guitar in order to even attempt to get that achievement/trophy. If you want to get this without doing too much of anything, set the Vocals to Super Easy, Max out the Mic's sensitivity and put it next to something that makes constant noices like a fan. This will unlock as soon as you've done your last gig in Carrer Mode. D. Long-Distance Rocker Description: Complete the Rock Marathon Setlist on the World Tour Gamerscore: 30 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: The Rock Marathon Setlist will choose 15 random songs from the In-Game Song list and (possibility) any and all DLC songs you happen to have. Refer to Endless Sameless for a way to get this without trying. F. Endless Shameless Description: Complete the Endless Setlist on the World Tour Gamerscore: 50 Trophy Color: Gold Guide: The Endless Setlist will choose 30 random songs from the In-Game Song list and (possibility) any and all DLC songs you happen to have. If you want to get this and Long-Distance Rocker without trying, set Vocals to Super Easy and do something else while the game unlocks both of these for you. E. Got Wheels Description: Purchase the 2nd vehicle on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. After playing enough gigs at LEGO City Station and Bill Ditt Construction Co., you'll get a chance to hire a Manager. You need to get at least 3 stars in a gig at LEGO City Station in order to hire him (refer to Pencil Pusher for details). After hiring him you'll be given a chance to purchase a Minibus. The Minibus will cost you 50,000 studs to purchase. G. Sea Legs Description: Purchase the 3rd vehicle on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. After playing enough gigs at the Brickton Manor and Crystal Mine through the Minibus, you'll be given a chance to purchase a Boat. The Boat will cost you 100,000 studs to purchase. H. Rotary Club Description: Purchase the 4th vehicle on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. After playing enough gigs at the Jolly Rocker and The Parrot n' Pegleg through the Boat, you'll be given a chance to purchase a Helicopter. The helicopter will cost you 150,000 studs to purchase. I. Open Road Description: Purchase the 5th vehicle on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. After playing enough gigs at the LEGO City Speedway and LEGO City Skyscraper through the Helicopter, you'll be given a chance to record the band's 1st album. In order to do this though, you'll need to have a Record Producer in your entourage. To unlock and hire a Record Producer you need to beat a Single Song called "Accidentally in Love" by the Counting Crows at the Jolly Rocker. Once purchased and after doing the above, you'll get a chance to purchase a Tour Bus. The Tour Bus will cost you 200,000 studs to purchase. J. Walking on Air Description: Purchase the 6th vehicle on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Sliver Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. After playing enough gigs at the Stud Farm and LEGO City Zoo through the Tour Bus, you'll be given a chance to purchase a Hovercraft. The Hovercraft will cost you 300,000 studs to purchase. K. Into the Deep Description: Purchase the 7th vehicle on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. After playing enough gigs at the Bone Cave and Volcanic Rock through the Hovercraft, you'll be given a chance to purchase a Submarine. The Submarine will cost you 500,000 studs to purchase. L. Jet Setter Description: Purchase the 8th vehicle on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. After playing enough gigs at the Abyss and the Coral Reef through the Submarine, you'll be given a chance to purchase a Private Jet. The Private Jet will cost you 750,000 studs to purchase. M. Teleportation Nation Description: Unlock the Teleporter on the World Tour Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. After getting enough Stars in the Private Jet venues (I think 20-30), you'll get to play the "Ultimate Set on Earth" at the Wembrick Stadium. After finishing the set, you'll then be forced to do a "Rock Power Challenge". This challenge has you refulling a UFO through the power of Rock and Roll. Refer to Start Me Up for more details. Once you've beaten the challenge you'll automaticly unlock the Teleporter and this achievement/trophy. This unlocks around the same time as Start Me Up. N. Rock the House Down Description: Complete the Wreck 'n' Roll Rock Power Challenge Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. Play enough gigs at the Bill Ditt Construction Co. and you'll be play this Rock Power Challenge. In this Rock Power Challenge, the construction workers are trying to tear down a building with no luck and you have to use your Rock and Roll abilities to help them out. You'll be doing the song "Tick Tick Boom" by the Hives in this challenge. Survive this challenge and the achievement/trophy's yours. O. Pencil Pusher Description: Hire a Band Manager Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Carrer Mode related, so it can't be missed. Play enough gig at the Camper Van venues and you'll get a chance to play the gig "Hot Connections". In this gig, you have to get the attention of the soon to be Band Manager. You'll be doing the song "Crocodile Rock" by Elton John and you have to get at least 3 stars on that song in order to get his attention. You'll be using the instrument and the difficulty setting you happen to be the best at (either that or doing Super Easy Vocals with the Mic Trick), so their's really no reason why you should have less than 3 stars in that song. P. You're Hired! Description: Hire an Entourage member Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to #1 Boss for details. Q. #1 Boss Description: Hire all Entourage members Gamerscore: 40 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: This is unlocked by hiring all of the Entourage. You're Hired is unlocked by hiring only one of them. Their are 10 of them in all. Here's a list of the songs you need to beat to unlock them and what venue they take place in. The list was made by Son of Kyuss of xbox360achievements.org. Camper Van > LEGO City Station > Grace by Supergrass Minibus > Brickton Manor > Girls and Boys by Good Charlotte Speedboat > The Jolly Rocker > Accidentally in Love by Counting Crows Chopper > LEGO City Speedway > Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me) by Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel Tour Bus > Stud Farm > Valerie by The Zutons Hovercraft > The Bone Cave > Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas Submarine > The Abyss > Naïve by The Kooks Private Jet > Brickingham Castle > Two Princes by Spin Doctors Teleporter > UFO > Fire by Jimi Hendrix R. Hovel, Sweet Hovel Description: Purchase one item of rock den furniture Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Luxury Living for Details. S. House Proud Description: Spend 100,000 studs on rock den furniture Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Luxury Living for Details. T. Luxury Living Description: Spend 1,000,000 studs on rock den furniture Gamerscore: 40 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: For these three, you just need to spend the Studs you get for doing various gigs on rock den furniture. This doesn't apply to just furniture; it can be vitural toys that various LEGO characters can play with, poster signs and other non-furniture items. I don't know what piece of rock den furniture would cost 1,000,000 studs, but gather 1,000,000 of them and spend, spend and spend some more until you get this. Go for the more expensive items to speed this up. U. Bare Essentials Description: Purchase an item of clothing Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Fashion Victim for Details. V. Appetite For Apparel Description: Spend 100,000 studs or more on items of clothing Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Fashion Victim for Details. W. Fashion Victim Description: Spend 1,000,000 studs or more on items of clothing Gamerscore: 40 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: For these three, you just need to spend the Studs you get for doing various gigs on clothes. LEGO characters that you purchase from the Rock Shop count as clothing. Save up 1,000,000 studs, buy a LEGO character that costs 1,000,000 studs, achievement/trophy unlocked. Simple as that. Of course, if you rather buy clothing that you want to wear for yourself and your band members, then you can do it that way too. X. Gear Head Description: Purchase an instrument Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Instrumental for Details. Y. Instrumental Description: Spend 1,000,000 studs or more on instruments Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Sliver Guide: For this and Gear Head, you just need to spend the Studs you get for doing various gigs on instruments for you and your band members. I'm not sure what instruments would cost 1,000,000 studs, but just keep buying instruments and you'll eventurally get this. Z. Local Legend Description: Get 100 fans Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Fan-TASTIC for Details. AA. Fan-TASTIC Description: Get 1,000,000 fans Gamerscore: 30 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: You'll be going for Veteran Performer anyway, so don't worry about not getting this and Local Legend. Having Entourage members that boost your Fans will speed this up. AB. Twinkle, Twinkle Description: Get 100 Stars Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Super Stars for Details. AC. Super Stars Description: Get 1000 Stars Gamerscore: 15 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: You'll be going for Veteran Performer anyway, so don't worry about not getting this and Twinkle, Twinkle. If you get 5 stars on every single song of every single gig, you'll have Twinkle, Twinkle in 20 songs and Super Stars in 200 songs. If you want to speed this up however, then pick the shortest songs you can get your hands on (or the songs you are actually good at) and/or do the shorten versions of the longer songs and try to get 5 stars in every single one of the songs. AD. Universal Acclaim Description: Complete the Story Gamerscore: 50 Trophy Color: Gold Guide: Just beat carrer mode and that's it. It pretty much unlocks itself after beating the final Rock Power Challenge called "Stop the Rock". You'll get this along with Armageddon Outta Here, but you will have to sit through the ending clip before this will unlock itself. AE. Flawless Fretwork Description: Score 100% notes hit as a Guitarist Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This will unlock itself in Carrer Mode eventrually if this is your instrument of choice. If you don't use this instrument, or if for some reason that you don't, you can play a song on Super Easy and still get this (unlike all the other Rock Band games you have to be on Expert or so I read). On Super Easy Guitar all you need to do is to strum the Guitar when the notes fly by on the chart. This applies to the Bass Guitar as well. If you play the song "The Final Countdown" and get 100% on it and it was on Expert, you'll unlock this along with the achievement/trophy of the same name and "Brian MAY Be Jealous". AF. Flawless Drumming Description: Score 100% notes hit as a Drummer Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Flawless Fretwork for details, but this is for the Drums. On Super Easy Drums, all you need to do is to hit one of the pads (or press one of the buttons on the Drum Controller or even the Kicker pad) and it'll hit the note. AG. Flawless Singing Description: Score 100% notes hit as a Vocalist Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Flawless Fretwork for details, but this is for the Mic. On Super Easy Vocals, the lyrics all just talky parts, so you can pretty much just talk through the song as long as it picks up your voice. To get this without even trying, max out the Mic's sensitivity, place it next to something that makes constant noice and the game will unlock this achievement/trophy for you. AH. Flawless Grove Description: Score 100% notes hit as a Bassist Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Flawless Fretwork for details, but this is for the Bass. Super Easy Bass works the same way as Super Easy Guitar; you just need to strum the guitar controller and that's it. AI. Stud Farm Description: Achieve a 100% Stud Recovery during a performance Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Unlike the other Rock Band games that came before this one (and Rock Band 3 and possibly Blitz for that matter), you don't fail out and go to the retry screen. Instead the game takes you into Stud Recovery mode, where you lose a portion of your Studs (Score) and you have to get them back by playing notes during this mode (or in the case of the Vocals, singing the next few phrases in the lyrics). 1st off, score some points in the song you're doing. Then intentionally fail out to go into Stud Recovery mode. For Guitar/Bass, strum the living daylights of the Guitar Controller. For Drums, rapidly press the buttons on the Drum Controller. For Vocals, just stop singing; the game will take care of the rest. Then, while in Stud Recovery mode, hit all of the notes on the Guitar/Bass/Drums (or sing all of the Phrases with the Vocals) with 100% accuracy and as soon as the song ends, it'll unlock itself. AJ. Brian MAY Be Jealous Description: 100% a guitar solo on Expert Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you need to get 100% a guitar solo on the Expert difficulty. Here are the songs I read have the easiest solos in the game: 1. So What by Pink 2. Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams 3. Dig by Incubus 4. Swing Swing by The All American Rejects Of course, these are just the On-Disc songs. If you happen to know any DLC songs you own that has an easy solo, let me know and I'll credit you. Since the aim of this guide is to help players get 100% of all achievements (or score a Platinum for PS3 players), I would suggest you do the song The Final Countdown by Europe instead, since their's an achievement/trophy for FC-ing (Full Combo) that song's solo. AK. The Final Countdown Description: Score 100% on the Guitar Solo in "The Final Countdown" on Expert Gamerscore: 40 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: This one has you trying to 100% The Final Countdown's Guitar Solo on Expert. It is (however) easier said than done (especially if you're not an Expert with the Guitar Controller). All I can tell you for this is to keep practicing and practicing until you can get this in the song. You can not get this in Practice mode, you can't use the shorten version of this song (as it doesn't contain the solo in question) and it unlocks after beating the song itself. If you have the Rock Band Guitar Controller, use that as it has the solo buttons and you can use those button to hit the solo and not have to worry about having to strum the guitar. AL. All Four One! Description: Complete a song with four band members Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one requires you to play a song with 4 band members. Fortunatly and Unfortunately, this game doesn't let you go online for stuff other than for DLC songs, so you have to go Local for this and Practice Makes Perfect. It's possible to get this by yourself if you happen to have 2 Guitar Controllers and one Mic and Drum Controller. See Practice Makes Perfect for clarification and for what songs you could do to get this and Practice Makes Perfect. AM. Practice Makes Perfect Description: All four band members score 100% notes hit Gamerscore: 50 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: Refer to All Four One! for details. What I mean by "1-man band FC" is that one person can do all 4 instruments and get this achievement/trophy. I've mentioned what you would need in order to attempt this. If you don't have all of the instruments, but know people who has the ones you're looking for, either borrow it from them or invite them over to your place to play this game. If your friends want this achievement/trophy as well, do note that this will only unlock for the Main Profile, so you're friends will have to bring their profiles with them. Here some easy songs that you can play in order to get this: On-Disc 1. We Will Rock You by Queen DLC 1. Silver by the Pixies (cost 160 MSP (1.99 PSN) to download) 2. Charlene (I'm Right Behind You) by Steven and the Colberts (Free DLC) You can use the Super Easy setting for all 4 instruments for this (which is pretty much the only way you can get this and All Four One! solo). AN. Solid Gold, Easy Action! Description: Gold Star any song Gamerscore: 50 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: This one requires you to get 5 Gold Stars (which is like a 6th star) in a song. This is only achieveable on Expert. The easiest On-Disc song to use is We Will Rock You by Queen on Expert Bass (or so I read). It starts off is a Green-Green-Orange pattern and it turns into a Green-Green-Blue+Orange pattern at the end. Save up your Overdrive and activate it when it get's to the Green-Green-Blue+Orange and you'll have 5 Gold Stars in no time (assuming that you have been pretty good about hitting the notes). I've read that you could also do Song 2 by Blur, which is about the same length as Queen's We Will Rock You and it does have small breaks between the chorus so you can get you're hands ready for the next assault of the notes. ****************************************************************************** * Act 5: The Game's Secret Achievements/Trophies and How to unlock them * ****************************************************************************** AO. Do note that if you do decide you want to message me, make sure if the topic is about Lego Rock Band. As of right now the only sites that have permission to use my guide: A. GameFAQs (I have an ancount with them, so they don't really need my permission.) B. Neoseeker (The owner got permission in advanced) C. Supercheats (The owner got permission in advanced) More to come (maybe). Don't even think about email me if you are going to send me: A. Hate Mail B. Spam C. Name Calling mail D. Barelly readable/Unreadable mail E. Mail with mostly creative words (if you get my drift) Letter A I take offence to, because I don't send hate mail to no one. I have a Spam safeguard with yahoo, and it'll tell me if I have spam or not with Letter B. Also, if I think your trying sending me spam on Xbox Live, don't think I won't wirte a complant about you, and/or tell Microsoft on you. With letter C, I also take offence, because I get name called in school. Letter D, If your sending me an E-mail, have spell check avaiable to you and your not sure of your spelling, then why not use it? Letter E, Unless I messed up that badly, there's really no reason for that anyway. All of these things can and will make me think your a bad person, when in reality your probably not. All in all, just don't do it. Follow these rules, and if you add-on and/or correct something, I'll give you credit for it. Note: Don't get discouraged if I don't answer you right away. Sometimes, I might be on the Computer and sometimes I'll be on Xbox Live. Your best bet is to send both an E-mail and an Xbox Live message. That way if I don't get one of your messages, I'll still be able to get the other message. Even then, I might still not get your message right away. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | Act 7: Legal Junk, Special Thanks and Other Guides I've Done | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Legal Junk This guide is copyrighted and writen by me.
