INTRODUCTION =============================================================================== Transformers: The Game is the official tie-in video game to the movie, Transformers. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg really did a terrific job regarding the action in the movie. Most fans saw the movie and loved it dearly. The game is very shocking, letting you do anything you please, when you please. Unfortunately, it has some very annoying bugs and glitches to avoid. On the other hand, this game is very similar to Grand Theft Auto and Assassin's Creed where you can roam around and enjoy yourself. It seemed that most gamers got bored of this game once they'd finished the Campaign levels. The Energon Cubes were just too much seeming to "appear and disappear" at the most weird times. =============================================================================== C. ACHIEVEMENTS =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Pride of Bumblebee (60 Points) You've scouted the world thoroughly. All the secret icons have been collected. Find all of the secret icons in the game. There are 5 per level and 40 of them total. This one isn't too tough and could easily be unlocked the first time you play through the game. To check how many you have for a certain level: Press Start then press right on the D-Pad. The top-left shows how many you have retrieved for that particular level. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Pride of Megatron (20 Points) 200 Autobot Drones have fallen before you. This one should unlock as you pass through the game. If you really want the points, be sure to kill all of the Autobot Drones in the Boss Battles. You should then only have to do the Cybertron level once. If this does not work, continue playing the Cybertron level until the Achievement rings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Pride of Optimus Prime (20 Points) 200 Decepticon Drones have met their match. This one is a little bit trickier than the Pride of Megatron Achievement. There seems to be less Decepticon Drones in the Autobot Campaign. You might need to replay the Cypertron levels 3-4 times for this Achievement to unlock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Transform and Roll Out (10 Points) You've transformed for the first time. This is by far the easiest Achievement to get in Transformers: The Game. As soon as you start playing the game, hit "Y". No easier way to describe it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Robots in Disguise (25 Points) You've transformed 500 times. This Achievement seems like it could take forever but that's not true at all. I got this in the third level of playing. If you are the type of person that likes to stay a certain form, it might take a bit longer. If you want this faster, just press "Y" 500 times. This could take anywhere from 10-15 minutes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. Keeper of the AllSpark (75 Points) There is no Transformer that stands greater than you. You have achieved 100% completion. This is the hardest Achievement to get in Transformers: The Game. If you happen to find all the Energon Cubes in all the levels, you're practically good to go. They are the frustrating part. To get this Achievement you will need to have: a. Completed the entire Campaign for Autobots and Decepticons (Includes Cypertron levels). b. Completed all Sub-Missions in the game. c. Collected all Energon Cubes in the game (100 per level; 800 total.). d. Collected all Secret Icons in the game (See Pride of Bumblebee Achievement). e. Maximized your Skill Ratings for every level in the game (See Mad Skillz Achievement). Copy and paste the below link for all locations of the Energon Cubes: http://www.achieve360points.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42075 IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of these maps are actually missing some cubes so use these at YOUR OWN RISK! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7. Sideways Motion (15 Points) You can handle turns with ease. Achieved full Slide Skill. This cannot be done with a Transformer that can fly. He has to be a car (Ex: Barricade, Bumblebee, Prime, etc...). All you need to do is turn and hit the turbo. This has to be done on a flat surface or something very close to flat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8. Wrong Way! (15 Points) You're living dangerously. Ram 250 Cars. All you have to do is hit 250 cars while driving. If you want this quicker: go to The Suburbs level, drive to the highway, ride on the opposite lane, and hit every car that comes your direction. Watch out for buses, however, because they slow you down massively if you hit them head on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9. Shot Putter (15 Points) You've sent objects flying. Achieved full Throw Skill. This is strangly easier to get as a Decepticon because they are stronger. Find a fairly small object, look up to the sky, and throw. If you did this correct, the object should go soaring and the Achievement should unlock. As an Autobot, it helps if you throw an object while on the roof of a building. But beware of buildings in the distance because if the object hits a surface before you get the Achievment, the bar will drop. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10. Speed Demon (15 Points) You've really burned rubber. Achieved full Speed Skill. This, too, cannot be done with a Transformer that flies. All you really need to do is drive continuously for about 5-8 seconds without slowing down or stopping. Turbo helps a lot but makes it harder to control. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11. What Challenge? (10 Points) You have handled a challenge with ease. Complete your first Challenge sub- mission. This one isn't hard at all. All you need to do is finish/complete any challenge sub-mission. They can be found on any level. Any one works. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12. Pride of Ironhide (15 Points) You are the epitome of an Autobot. Achieved full Heroic Skill. This one, obviously, cannot be done with a Decepticon character. This and the Root of all Evil Achievement can be very frustrating at times. You need to use combo attacks continuously on your enemies. If you take a break of about 3 seconds long, you need to start all over. Boss Battles are the best times to try and get this Achievement due to the large amounts of Decepticon Drones. ++ See 43. Heroic/Evil Help for tips (Below) ++ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 13. Pride of Brawl (15 Points) Your destruction comes naturally as a Decepticon. Achieved full Destruction Skill. This Achievement could be obtained accidentally. All you need to do is shoot vehicles, buildings, or signs to get this Achievement. Practically destroy anything you see. Be sure to shoot or melee something that is not completely destroyed for the meter to continue climbing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 14. Mad Skillz (40 Points) You are skilled beyond belief. Achieved all Skill items on all levels. This could be another frustrating Achievement. There are from 4-6 Skill items on each level. To get this Achievement, you need to get all of them for each level. Some levels are only Boss Battles so try to hold off the boss and get the Skill item. ++ See 44. Skill Items Help for tips (Below) ++ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15. We Don't Need Roads (15 Points) Who needs roads when you can fly through the air? Achieved full Jump Skill. First find a very tall building. Then stand on the edge of it where one foot hangs over the edgeand the other stays on the building. Then, transform and watch the Achievement ring. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16. Root of all Evil (15 Points) You take pride in destroying your enemies. Achieved full Evil Skill. This one, obviously, cannot be done with an Autobot. This and the Pride of Ironhide Achievement can be very frustrating at times. You need to use combo attacks continuously on your enemies. If you take a break about 3 seconds long, you need to start all over. Boss Battles are the best times to try and get this Achievement. ++ See 43. Heroic/Evil Help for tips (Below) ++ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECRET ACHIEVEMENTS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17. Finish this Planet (50 Points) Optimus and the Autobots are but a memory. Earth is yours. This achievement will ring when you have beaten the Decepticons' side of Transformers: The Game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 35. Weapon Systems Inactive (20 Points) Your enemy knows the might of your fist. Complete Suburbs Chapter 1 using only melee attacks. During the first chapter of "The Suburbs" only melee your enemies. Do not touch the RT or RB. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 36. Sharp Shooter. (40 Points) You're destructive and efficient. Complete Airbase Chapter 3 with more than 2:30 minutes remaining. During the third chapter of "A Gathering Force" shoot down the 10 jets then find and throw their reckage. This saves you about 20 seconds. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 37. Turbo? We don't need no turbo! (30 Points) You've got a lead foot and it shows. Complete Hoover Internal Chapter 2 without using boost. During the second chapter of "Inside Hoover Dam" race to and from the tunnels without even using boost. Not very hard but very tempting. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 38. Land Shark (10 Points) The enemy can't hit you if they can't see you. Spend 2 minutes underground. During the third chapter of "SOCCENT Military Base" when you play as Scorponok, stay underground for two minutes. Wait until you are done with the chapter then go for the Achievement. You cannot move at all or you'll have to start all over. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 39. Batter Up (10 Points) Find a bat and make your enemy fly. During the first level "The Suburbs", go to the Baseball Field and there will be at least four baseball bats. Wield one, find a Decepticon Drone, and hit the drone with your bat. Achievement unlocked! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 40. Pit Crew (10 Points) Stop your enemy in their tracks!! Use a large tire to harm your enemy. During the first level "The Suburbs", there are two (I think?) gas stations that have large tires on top of them. Pick one up, find a Decepticon Drone, and throw the tire at it. Achievement unlocked! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 41. Ring-A-Ding-Ding (10 Points) Dial up some pain for your enemy. Use the Helio phone as a weapon. During the fourth level "The Last Stand" as the Autobots OR "City of the Machines" as the Decepticons, go to the Central Park. There are two phones on display on the side of the bird statue's LEFT wing. Pick one up, and find a Decepticon Drone (Might want to do this one during a Chapter mission). Achievement Unlocked! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 42. I know Kung-Fu (30 Points) You are quite skilled Grasshoppa. Perform 1,000 punches This one should unlock while playing the game. If it doesn't, simply find a level with a bunch of Drones and only punch them. Achievement unlocked! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 43. Heroic/Evil Help If you are stuck and do not know how to get the Heroic/Evil Skill for a certain level, don't get annoyed. First off, don't ever hit in this sequence: X,X,X. That just kills the Drone and gets you one Heroic/Evil bar. Instead, do this: X (1 second pause), then X again. Keep doing that. If the Drone is strong enough, he should not die and you should get that bar to climbing. Also, this works really good if you try it in a Sumo sub-mission. Do what I said and the Drone will not go flying. Instead, it should just let you hit it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 44. Skill Item Help If you are also caught getting the Skill Items for Boss Battles, do not get even more annoyed. Instead, completely ignore the Boss and the "Action Zone." If you need the Speed Item, don't be scared to leave the Action Zone to get the Skill Item. Once you get it, just let the timer count down to 0 then start over. Same thing goes for the Jump and Slide Skills. =============================================================================== D. CONCLUSION =============================================================================== This section officially concludes my Achievement Guide. I'm about a year too late as the game came out last year. I, however, tried to write my guide without help and be as accurate to the information as I could. If you have any complaints regarding some of the Achievements, message me and I will listen to what you have to say.
