Legal Information [TLCLI] / /_________________________________________________________/ I have tried really hard to make this walkthrough good enough to be able to help many people. I don?t really care what you do with this guide as long as you give me credit for it. Also send me an email (see contact section) and tell me where you are posting it. If you can make money off this walkthrough go for it, as long as you give me credit. If you can make money off it you are sure as hell a better person than me because I couldn?t. I am not a hardcore Walkthrough/guide writer so this will more than likely the only Guide I will ever make. _________________________________________________________ / 3. Story [TLCS] / /_________________________________________________________/ ======Taken from the Fable: Lost Chapters Game Booklet===== A word from the Guildmaster- Congratulations are in store for you. The fact you have been provided with the Book of the Guild means you must be one of a lucky few with enough potential to be invited here as a Hero apprentice. We consider this text sacred and even, I would say, magical. You would be wise to study it carefully from cover to cover and unveil its many secrets. The task ahead of you will not be an easy one. Only through years of hard work can you hope to unleash your latent powers. During its long history the Guild has seen many apprentices fail through idleness and overconfidence, and I would be sorry to see one with potential such as you throw it all away. Albion needs its Heroes now more than ever. Becoming a Hero of Renown means achieving great things, and to accomplish less than greatness is to have done next to nothing at all. You must understand that for the Guild, greatness has no bearing with regard to perceive good or evil. No, it has more to do with Renown one achieves through actions, regardless of morality. Be forewarned that the work necessary to become a Hero is not to be taken half-heartedly. On the contrary, this will be a most gruelling and arduous training, encompassing all aspects of mind, body, and training. I say this without a wisp of doubt. We require that you apply yourself as never before, but having done that, the rewards and Renown you may achieve are unimaginable. This said, if you do finally graduate from the Heroes' Guild, you may even one day be acknowledged as the greatest Hero to ever stride the cobbled streets of Albion. Statues have been erected all over the land in honour of those few Great Ones who came before you, those laid to rest and permanently entombed at the Guild. We may only hope our success in training you will one day flame your successes throughout Albion, coarse a place as it is. Go now, and seek your destiny. _________________________________________________________ / 5. Frequently Asked Questions [TLCFAQ] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is just a quick reference guide, which I wrote earlier but was unfortunately not accepted as a guide in its current form. The content is just almost exactly the same as what?s in the walkthrough, though in more of a compacted format. It?s just a reference point so it?s for quick answers. It?s a bit crammed so I?ll simplify it later and make a quick access system to get through all the questions trying to find the one you need. How do I pull the Harbinger (Sword in the Stone) out of the ground next to the Temple of Avo? If you try to pull the sword out at a low strength level, you can then increase your Physique by 5, Health by 2 and Toughness by 3. Maxing out your strength stats will work as well. How do I marry Lady Grey? It?s actually a complete quest with multiple parts. After completing the arena quest, talk to her in Bowerstone North. She will ask for a gift. The only gift that works is a black rose, which can be bought in the Bowerstone North Shop. Only buy one though, as she will dislike them afterwards. She will then ask you to be an owner of a house, buy the cheap one at Bowerstone South. She will then complain her necklace has been stolen. Teleport to Oakvale and dig between the two wrecked boats, which are on the main beach near the docks. Once you give it to her you must fight Thunder up at headsman hill. After he has been defeated, go meet with lady grey and the two of you shall marry. Do I have to marry Lady Grey? No, you don?t have to. In fact, there is a whole quest where you have to uncover Lady Grey as a murderer. This quest is optional of course. As soon as you get to Bowerstone North talk to the man being held in the prison. The rest of the quest will unfold from there. How do I have sex with Lady Grey? Despite many people having problems doing this it is possible. It?s just the same procedure as sleeping with any of your other wives. Flirt, talk, give gifts and use expressions and eventually she will be yours. What is the best armour in the game? The best armour in the game is called Archons Battle Armour. It can be found in a silver key chest at Necropolis. You need 25 silver keys to open the chest. Head Gear is included in the stash. What is the best bow in the game? The best longbow in the game is called Skorms Bow and can be obtained at the Chapel of Skorm (see below for details). What is the point of sleeping in the game? The point of sleeping in the games is to obviously turn day to night and visa versa. It can make shops get new deliveries, make shops open, make stealing easier (Nightime) and certain events only happen at certain parts of the day (Fist Fighter Gang). Can I ever visit the Arena again? Yes you can visit the arena again but not as a participant. One of the last Core Quests is to get a soul of a Arena winner (Good side only) and then you go there and battle Jacks minions, balverines, trolls and summoners. It is a lot harder than the first arena challenge. What is the Sandgoose? The Sandgoose was something everybody used to think was a ship or likewise which would take you to a distant land. This is now known to be incorrect. The designers themselves made it known that the Sandgoose was false by the way of the Oracle in Snowspire. What is the Singing Sword? A powerful sword said to make a singing noise when used. People have looked for it and failed so I deem the rumour false. Anybody who finds something they think is the singing sword should post here. What does ?The blue Nymph Crouches at a quarter past three? mean? To my knowledge, absolutely nothing. It was once thought to be a time-based event, which no one has yet found. So we just deem it as something they put it in the game to make it seem the bandits had secrets and orders. If anyone finds anything more post here. What is the Demon Door in Witchwood?s name? His name is H-I-T-S, whack out his name on the stones and he will open. If you want to it the proper way, give a ruby to the guy at the Temple of Avo and he will tell you its name. Just for extra experience, whack out the letters S-H-I-T and balverines will come. It gives the dig command in Orchard Farm but I don?t find anything? It?s a blank spot where the game designers were going to put an item under there but at the last minute took it out and forgot to take the shovel symbol off. No amount of digging will find you anything. What does the Hexagon Key do? The hexagon key is meant to get you into moonlit tunnel in the Hobbe cave. But it was soon taken out of that role. This was because the quest where you get the hexagon key is optional and you have to visit the cave after, if you didn?t do the optional quest you would have never got the key and couldn?t have progresses. My solution to this would have been to make the Hobbe cave quest a core quest and not just an optional one. But there way is good as well. What happens if I kill Whisper in the Arena? There are a few major things that will happen if you kill Whisper. The first is that you will get an extra 10,000 gold, the second is that Thunder will hate you much more than he does now and the third thing is that people will fear you more now, even if you are fully good. How do I obtain the Darkwood Bordello Deeds? You can go about this one of three ways. The first is to get Grope drunk and he will tell you where the deeds are. The second is to dress up as a woman and work for Grope. Do the dirty with him and after a few times he will tell you where it is. The easiest way by far is just skipping the steps and going straight to the finding the deeds. Just dig under the tree next to the pond and you will find it. You now officially own Darkwood Bordello. You can either keep it as it is or turn it into a woman?s refuge. The choice is yours. What choices do you have when capturing souls? The first choice you have is to get the soul of the Arena champion. You can either kill Thunder (evil) or go to the Arena and battle there (good). The second choice is for the Heroine. You can either kill Scarlet Robe (evil) or go to the Oakvale Memorial Garden and fight the Screamers to get your mothers soul (good). The final choice is for the oldest person. This can either be the Guild Master in the Guild Woods (evil) or fighting Nostro in the Circle of the Dead (good). How do you uncover Lady Grey as a murderer? It is an option quest in the game called ?Investigating the Mayor?. You can get it after completing the arena. In order for you to do this quest, you must not have married Lady Grey. If you married her, the crazy man in the jail cell will not talk to you. Anyway, talk to the guy in the cell and agree to investigate the mayor. He will tell you of her Lady Grey's sisters (Amanda) boyfriend. He is located in Barrow Fields. He is near the Demon Door by the water. Talk to him and he will tell you about his relationship with Amanda and how Lady Grey loathed it. He tells you that he used to light a lamp three times in the stable to let her know that it was him. Then they used to go to the cellar. Enter the Grey House and go into the stable at the beginning of the area. Flash your lamp on three times and you will see Amanda's ghost leaves the house and descends into the cellar. Walk up to the cellar door on the side of the house and enter. Her ghost will tell you that she died in the cellar waiting for her boyfriend to come but never did. You could see that she was shot with an arrow in the chest and died a bit later. Grab the letter off of the body and Lady Grey will show herself. You have two choices here: Give her the letter and marry her to cover this up or expose her. It is your choice, whatever you want to do. If you expose her, you will be able to become mayor of Bowerstone. It does nothing for you, just allows access to the manor in Bowerstone North. If you marry her, you will be able to open the demon door in the Grey House and you will get some money in addition with access to Bowerstone manor. How do I get Avo?s tear as a weapon? You can only get this sword if you cast the Sword of Aeons into the Vortex. After completing Jack of Blades for the first time, you will talk to the Guildmaster and he will tell you of an ancient weapon hidden in the guild. He then tells you Maze was investigating it and you should check in his Tower for clues. Go up to Maze's tower and search the right bookshelf for a book. Read the book and go talk to the empty grave outside of his tower. You will get Avo's tear, which is an exact replica of the Sword of Aeons with the exception of the name and colour. Everything else is the same. Where can I get the Solus Greatsword? You can buy the Solus Greatsword in the Bowerstone North Shop. It costs 69825 gold and does 314 damage. Lady Grey can also give it to you as a gift (see other section). What is the Better Bard? It does not exist in the game so stop looking. Can I marry the women at the Bordello? I have tried for a fair while and I have failed. I cannot even get a heart above their heads. So I dub it impossible. If anyone has found out a way to do it post here. How do I into Twinblades Tent during the Bandit Seeress Quest? Way 1- Kill all the Bandits and they will open the gate and send reinforcements. Way 2- Pay the assassins to create a diversion and the gate will open. Way 3- Free the Bowerstone Villagers and the gate will open How do I get clothes like the guy in the opening sequence? You cannot. He appears to have an assassin suit underneath his Plate armour, something that you cannot do in this game. Clothes don?t overlap. What is the Dig-Glitch? The dig-glitch was a glitch, which was present in the original Fable but was taken out of TLC. What is the most powerful Summon? A little bit of controversy here, some people say its is a minion summoner, some say it?s a normal minion while others say it?s the White balverine. I personally think it?s the minion summoner,. I missed the character select screen, where was it? This is one of the more unappealing points of this game. You missed the Character Select Screen, because, well, there isn?t one. You don?t get to change facial features or even have a different gender. You will have to accept the Hero as he is. What are the Scimitar and the Crossbow? They are just bandit weapons, which are rarely dropped by bandits in their camp, and they appear as shining objects. You can pick them up but they are very weak. Just sleep and eventually you will find them. It is rather rare. How do I make a house available for buying? Apart from the houses, which are preset and upgradeable for buying, there are 3 major ways in which you can make a house available. Firstly you can just massacre the whole town and buy the houses. Do this if you want to be solely evil. The second way is the lead the people outside of the towns and leave them there. When you re-enter the houses will be available for buying. Do this way if you wish to be good. The final way is to let someone else to kill them for you. The people who can do this are either guards, mercenaries or you can stage a bandit raid of Oakvale. Just hit one person so they all turn red and let your men (or guards) do the rest. This is for people who want to be partly evil. Can I own all the buildings in the game? You can own the majority of buildings in this game. You can own all of Oakvale, Bowerstone North, Hook Coast, Knothole Glade and to my knowledge Snowspire. The inly buildings you cant buy are the houses in Bowerstone South which have kids in them. You cannot kill the kids or lead them out of the town. You also cannot own Rose Cottage, the Fisher Creek House, the Orchard Farmhouse, any buildings in the windmill hill vicinity, anything in Barrowfields or any part the Guild. If I give the Necropolis Demon Door all my keys will I still be able to use them? You will not get your keys back, so make sure you have got all 30 silver keys and collected everything in all the silver key chests before continuing. An alternate way is to not collect any keys then talk to the door. Then collect them all. I don?t have enough money to pay the bandit toll? Seriously, don?t pay the toll. It?s a waste of gold and you could use the experience gained from the bandits that early on in the game. Be sure to kill the Bandit Elite last because if you don?t the rest will run away. Then collect the valuable treasure. I go to Knothole Glade and talk to the chieftain, but he wont let me join his gang, why not? As he says you must first complete the other Fist Fighter Challenges before you get the chance to fight him. First go to Bowerstone Quay at nightime and complete the first challenge, its rather easy. Then go to the Oakvale ring, its where you protect the mans barrels as a child. Once again it?s rather easy. Now it gets a bit harder. Go to Twinblades Elite Camp and in the top-right-hand corner of the map is the next ring. After the you can challenge the gang at Knothole Glade. They are harder but the chieftain is by far the hardest. Make sure you flourish him and then get behind him and let loose with punches. I have the original Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters, is one a sequel and which should I play first? The Lost Chapter is Fable, but with 33% more content than the original. If you have both games it would be recommended to play the Lost Chapters, as it is basically the same thing with more content and the glitches removed. How do you get a Solus Great Sword from Lady Grey? She gives you gifts based on the level of affection she has for you, the more she likes you, and the better the gifts you will receive. Pay lots of attention to her and eventually she will give it to you. It?s all an act of patience. What does X-box live do for Fable? Its just x-box live aware, so all you can do is see your friends online, you cant actually play on-line. Can I have kids? Everybody pay attention to this. No you cannot have kids. For the last time it was left out of the game. What do I win from the Fishing Competition in Fisher Creek? - Rod of Champions - 15 grams - Silver Key - 30 grams - Fisherman Hat - 50 grams What do I win from the Chicken Kicking Competition? 250 points - Chicken Hat 150 points - Silver Key 50 points - Cock Call Expression Where do the assassin attacks take place? Knothole Glade, Witchwood Cullis Gate, Prison Path, Windmill Hill and Hook Coast Where are all the treasure clues? One is a reward from completing the assassin attacks; another is found at windmill hill, another at orchard farm. One is from the archery competition out the front of knothole glade, and the final two are rewards from quests; Lost Trader Quest and the Bounty Hunt Quest. I have all the treasure clues, now what? Make your way to Orchard Farm and in front of the barn is a bale of hay. Dig between the barn and the hay and you will find the booty. I dug up the Frying Pan and it does no damage and is useless? Well then you probably got the Frying Pan before you obtained all the clues. It only does damage after you collect all the clues THEN dig up the Frying Pan. Can I still play the game after I beat it? Yes, don?t skip the credits and let them run through to the end. It takes roughly 15-20 minutes. What is the Hero Save glitch? When you save during a quest, it is called a Hero Save, it does not record world data, such as chests opened, items found, enemies killed, etc, all it does save is the items you've acquired, experience gained, money earned. If you load the Hero Save game, you will keep those items you found, but they will also be back where you found them so you can get them again and again. I didn?t fight Thunder; can I still get the key and silver chest down there? This was a major problem for me as well because I always like to be good and uncover the major as a murderer. But alas I have found a cure. Firstly go to Headsman Hill, but go to Headsman Hill by the way of Lynchfield Graveyard. Next hold down on the d-pad and teleport to Twinblades Camp. Then, this is most important, RECALL to Headsman Hill. You will more than likely appear at the entrance to Headsman Hill from the way of Gibbet Woods. Repeat until you appear down at the little are with the face of the Demon Door. I roughly calculated it to have a 1/8 chance of appearing there. If it doesn?t work keep trying. Down there is the all-important silver key if you wish to get the Avenger later and inside the cave is a silver key chest, which contains a mana augmentation. A very handy item to have at this stage of the game. What is the Age glitch? Use the hero save glitch during the Archaeologist quest by going to the Temple of Avo, donating enough gold to have your age reduced, Hero Save, load and repeat until you're 18 again. Why does Fable freeze so often? Chances are you have a Thompson DVD drive in your Xbox, there are three types, and the Thompson is the worst. Where can I get the Fire Assassin Outfit? You can get the Fire Assassin Suit by searching through all the cupboards and wardrobes in Snowspire Village. Just make sure you bribe the guards so you don?t get caught or just sneak in the houses at nightime. Can I get cool tattoos like Maze?s? You can get the blue arcane markings on your body but they will never be as prominent as the ones Maze has. You can get the light markings by using a lot of magic and upgrading you magic stats to their maximum. Why is fishing so hard now? Fishing gets harder the more you do it. It?s really strange. The Rod of Champions is the best fishing rod to use. Sometimes you can tap A all you want and the line will never snap. This only occurs sometimes though. Where are the Blue Mushrooms I need to find to cure the kid? 1) Buy it from the guy in Barrowfields 2) Talk to the men in Lookout Point and then fish in the ripple near the guilds Demon Door 3) Complete Cyril?s quest by talking to him in the Guild Woods then teleporting to Oakvale. Then send letters back and forth and he will eventually give it to you. 4) Make the Lady laugh at the Picnic Area How do you get into the Bowerstone Tavern Cellar? Go to lookout Point. At about midnight the statue that usually points to nowhere in particular will point towards Bowerstone South. Go to the tavern cellar and it will be unlocked. On the contrary, at midday when the statue points to Greatwood, at the first alcove type thing on the left, there will be a chest containing a sharpening augmentation. How do you get married? Firstly you must own a house in the town and not have it being rented out. Then find the woman/man you wish to marry. Talk to them, flirt, give gifts and do hero poses. Eventually they will turn green and ask for a wedding ring. Give her one; say yes and voila, you are married. I don?t want to be married anymore, what do I do? You have one of two options, you can either kill your wife of divorce her. You can divorce her by punching and kicking her for a while, then talking to her. Strangely, you get more evil points for divorcing her than you do killing her. Where are the Temple?s in this game? The Chapel of Skorm can be found in Darkwood, it is located east of Darkwood Camp, so find your way to Darkwood Camp to get to the chapel. The Temple of Avo can be found in Witchwood, it is on the path from Witchwood Cullis Gate to Knothole Glade, you can't miss it, literally What are their Rewards? Chapel of Skorm- Necromancer Title, Skorms Bow and the Gift of Youth (roughly 8 years) Temple of Avo- Paladin Title, Sentinus and the Gift of Youth (roughly 8 years) _________________________________________________________ / - Fable: TLC Walkthrough (Core Quests) [TLCWT] / /_________________________________________________________/ Completing Core Quests are essential to advancing the storyline. _________________________________________________________ / - Introduction [TLCI] / /_________________________________________________________/ Finally its time to start the game, this guide will help you complete the quests in the game in what I find is the easiest way possible. If you find an easier way email me (see contact section above). You don?t have to follow what I write exactly but it will make this guide easier to understand if you do. __________________________________________________________ / - A Birthday Gift [TLCABG] / /_________________________________________________________/ You have officially started the game. It starts with you being woken up by your father. He tells you it?s your sister?s birthday and you must get her a gift. He then tells you that the trader might have a gift that you can buy off him. For every Good deed you do around the town he will give you one gold piece. When you finally gain control, walk forward and talk to the small girl who tells you to find her missing teddy bear. It?s your first way to get a good deed. Continue along the path and after the end house on the right there is an alleyway behind it. You will find a man and a woman fooling around (they will be represented by a green dot, along with the rest of the people you can talk to). Talk to him and at the end of the conversation you will be given a choice of taking the bribe or not. Take the bribe for a gold piece and an evil point or decline his bribe for a good deed. Make your way to the green dot in front of the oakvale armoury and talk to the woman it represents. She asks if you have seen her husband. Say yes for another good deed and no for nothing. You can tell her even if you took her husbands bribe. You can follow her back to her husband and hear a funny domestic. While you are up there you can get the gold coins from you father (if you did good deeds) or you can wait until you have collected all the good deeds. Make your way to the closest green dot and a man will run up to you and inform you to look after his barrel while he takes a whiz. If you are good then don?t listen to the kids bad advice and don?t touch the controller. If you are evil smash all the barrels and collect the gold piece at the end. It is possible to smash all the barrels and then stand between the bales of hay; you will receive a good deed, a bad deed and a gold piece. Make your way to the final green dot (other than the trader or your sister) and you will find a small child being bullied by an older kid. Talk to them and take action. Attack the bully (good points) or attack the small kid (evil points). Either way you will get the teddy bear, which the girl at the start was missing. Make your way back to her and give it to her for a good deed. If you did any good deeds make your way back to your father, who will give you a gold piece for each good deed. If you did any bad deeds in this quest, the guards will just have a word with you, nothing serious. After getting all the gold pieces you can, talk to the trader, who will sell you a box of chocolates. Head towards the gold marker on the map and talk to your sister. Give her the chocolates and after the conversation ends, watch the cutscene. Bandits attack Oakvale and kill everyone else in sight. Once you gain control of the character, make your way down to your house to find your family. Walk towards your fathers? body and yet another cutscene will occur. Watch the cutscene and then you will wake up in the Guild of Heroes. Your journey has begun. _________________________________________________________ / - Guild Training [TLCGT] / /_________________________________________________________/ Whisper will wake you up and tells you to meet the Guildmaster out near the Melee Training Ring. Follow the Gold marker on your map and talk to him. Attack the Dummy with your fist. The Guildmaster will then give you a stick. Repeat the same process as before. When the experience orb appears, follow the Guildmaster?s instructions and hold Right Trigger. The Guild Alarm will sound and the Guildmaster will tell you to battle the beetles in the Guild Woods. Make your way there and head over to the red dots (which are enemies). Swing your stick at them and they should die on the first hit. Pick up the experience orbs after killing each one, or at the end. Once you have killed ten of them, the quest is over and you should exit the woods. Talk to the Guildmaster and it gives you the option to leave your childhood behind, press A for Yes. You will become a teenager now, and once again your presence is required at the melee ring. Go down and start conversation with the Guildmaster. You will now obtain your first sword. The first test is to hit Whisper, hit her a few times and flourish the rest until a cutscene occurs. Then you must block Whispers attack, simply by pressing and holding down Y. Now the Guildmaster wants you to combine the attack and block, simple. Once again it?s easy to hit her a few times then flourish the rest. You have now must meet the Guildmaster at the Archery grounds. Just follow the instructions, I can?t give many tips. After doing the stationary dummies you move onto the moving ones. The only tip I can give is to not use the left trigger to target; your skill isn?t high enough. Just click down the left thumbstick and aim a little bit to the left or right to the target, depending on which way it is moving. After completing the archery test make your way to the will grounds. A fairly easy test, just hold down both triggers and X and wait for them to re-animate and you should be fine. After completing that the Guildmaster will ask if you wish to continue you training or go play in the woods with Whisper, choose the play option. Before going to play with Whisper, make you way around to the green dots and do tasks and challenges for people. I will not go in depth with the things you can do so I will just name them and give a brief explanation. Melee Training- Found at melee area- Score an A+ to get an Iron Katana. Archery Training- Found at archery area- Score an A+ to get a Yew Crossbow. Will Training- Found at will area- Score an A+ to get various items. Sparrow Infestation- Found near one of the bridges- Kill all the Sparrows around the guild, evil points gained. Demon Door Run- Found next to Maze?s Quarters- Run to the Demon Door and back in 50 seconds. Guildmaster?s? Pie- Found in Servant Quarters- Collect apples form around the Guild Grounds. After completing these make your way to the Guild Woods and speak with Whisper at the entrance. Bandits wreck your hunt for beetles and you must kill them by either using your bow or casting lightning at them. Whisper then announces WE did it, but I didn?t see her do anything. Exit the woods and speak with the Guildmaster to complete your training. Its now time for your final test. Go to the Guild Woods and meet Maze. Hit him 7 times with your sword, 7 times with your bow and 7 times with your lightning to complete the final test. After the Graduation Ceremony you will learn how to use the experience portal. Upgrade whatever you think necessary and then leave the portal. The Guildmaster will reward you with the following and you may leave the Guild now, and continue more Quests. Reward- 2 x Resurrection Phial 1 x Lamp 2 x Health Potion 1 x Will Potion 1 x Apple Pie 600 Experience Points _________________________________________________________ / - Before Continuing [TLCBC] / /_________________________________________________________/ Before continuing on to the next Core Quest I would recommend exploring Albion as much as possible. If you do choose to do this you may want to go around collecting the Silver Keys (see section below or Faq) that are possible to get at this stage of the game. As well as that I usually make my way from Lookout Point to Oakvale and back again, killing all the enemies along the way. If you wish to be evil I would say the easiest place to go is Barrowfields and kill the guards there, and the ones that spawn afterwards. Be warned, killing guards at this stage of the game may be difficult due to your low skills in health. After levelling-up as much as you wish, return to the Guild to continue your Core Quests. _________________________________________________________ / - Wasp Menace [TLCWM] / / /_________________________________________________________/ Go pick up the Wasp Menace Quest from the Map Room. No you cannot get the other quests there, they just can?t be received. After getting the quest go through the Guild doors into Lookout Point. A guy runs up to you and tells you about the wasps, he then asks you to follow him to the Picnic Area Once you enter the Picnic Area, you will see wasps terrorizing villagers. Once you have killed all the wasps, the Wasp Queen will spawn. Use your bow or will magic to damage her. After a while she will spawn smaller wasps, so finish them of before continuing with the Queen. Once the Wasp Queen is destroyed the villagers will reward you (only if they are not dead). If they are alive and you wish to counteract all the good points you got from killing the wasps, kill the villagers for quick evil points. After completing this quest you will receive your reward and the quest will be over. Reward- 500 gold 200 renown 1 x Wasp Queen's Head _________________________________________________________ / - Mazes Information [TLCMI] / / /_________________________________________________________/ This is one simple quest. All you have to do is enter Bowerstone South and find Maze in front of tavern. Speak to him and he says that it is possible that your sister is still alive. Once he?s finished talking, the quest is over. You may want to do some silver or bronze quests now for extra renown and gold. If you do, go to the Guild and see what other quests are available, then skip to the corresponding section in this guide. You may wish to level up as well. _________________________________________________________ / - Attack/Protect Orchard Farm [TLCAPOF] / /_________________________________________________________/ This core quest will be broken up into two parts, one for the evil people and one for the good people. Protecting it is the good way and attacking it is the evil way. Obviously. Either way you do it you can boast at the boasting platform at Lookout Point. Attack Orchard Farm- If you are attacking Orchard Farm you must enter it from Greatwood Entrance. Once inside, the bandits will tell you what to do. You must lead the bandits to the crates and let them take them back to the entrance. While you are doing this you must protect them, due to the fact that guards will attack you on the way. Kill them all. Once you have collected all three crates you finish the first part of the mission. The second part of the mission happens now. Whisper appears and says she wants to test you again. Hit her a few times and she will block, then continue to flourish her with B until she is defeated. This will end this quest. Reward- 1000 Gold 400 renown 1x Whispers Brooch Protect Orchard Farm- If you take this quest you must enter Orchard Farm from Greatwood Lake. Once you enter you will meet the farmer who tells you he has also hired guards to assist you. You must protect the crates at all costs and if all of them are stolen you have failed the mission. Bandits will appear at the gate from Greatwood Entrance in groups of three and you must kill them. Once the bandits are all dead more groups will appear. Once they are all dead you will complete the first part of this mission. The second part of the mission happens now. Whisper appears and says she wants to test you again. Hit her a few times and she will block, then continue to flourish her with B until she is defeated. This will end this quest. _________________________________________________________ / - Trader Escort [TLCTE] / /_________________________________________________________/ For some reason this is one of my least favourite quests. After picking up the quest card, make your way to Darkwood Entrance where the quest will begin. You will meet the two traders there, the ones you are meant to escort to Barrowfields. Make your way through the first area and you will meet a trader who was just bitten by a balverine. Take him with you for good points or don?t let him come with you for evil points. If you are not quick enough he will turn into a balverine, which you will have to kill. Exit the area to Darkwood Marshes. In this are you will fight your first balverine. He is not that tough but can be fast and strong. Beware of his attack when he stands there and growls, he is ready to pounce. After killing him move on. Do not do the Demon Doors challenge, the guardians might kill the traders, which is not good. In the area at the end of Darkwood Marshes you will see large mushroom type thing, which explodes if you get near enough. An easy way to kill them is to use your lightning skill and just hold the spell down. Once a safe path is made, make your way through to Darkwood Lake. You cannot go into the Darkwood Bordello until after this quest so don?t get any ideas. As you go a bit into this area, bandits will appear and attack you. The bandits go for the traders so use slow time and attack them (if you have it) and afterwards use heal life (if you have it) on the traders to replenish their health. There are a few more groups of bandits in this area so use the same tactic as before. The next area is Darkwood Camp. Not a really useful area here. The traders will get healed and you can stop and buy supplies if you need them. Don?t play Blackjack, it?s a waste of money. And don?t be tempted to sacrifice the traders at the Chapel of Skorm, you will fail the mission. When you are ready to continue, use the follow expression on the traders and move on to the next area, Ancient Cullis Gate. When you enter the area and walk to the edge of the first cliff-type thing, you will se a group of bandits down there. Activate Slow Time (if you have it) and pick the bandits off with a powerful bow or a good offensive spell. If you don?t make it or don?t have the spell, the bandits will run up the stairs and attack you with swords. Take them down while protecting the traders. Walk down the stairs and you will see the next group of bandits along the road, snipe them or just run up and kill them. The next group of enemies are the hobbes. Kill them. Make your way into the next area, Darkwood Weir. There is only one enemy here, an earth troll. By now if you took a long time, the trader you let come with you (if you did) will turn into a balverine and you must kill him, not hard. Anyway continuing in the weir. At the end of the path the Earth Troll appears. The traders will wait so they don?t get injured. If you need more details on how to kill Earth Trolls check the defeating hard enemies section (below). A simple way is to melee him until he jumps up and slams down, at which point roll back with Y and complete. You can also hit back the rocks the troll throws by swinging at the right time. Once the troll is dead move through the exit to Barrowfields. The traders will run and meet the guy at the bridge and the quest will be over. Phew. Reward 250 gold (for keeping the infected trader alive) 2000 gold 500 renown 1 x Trader's Feather _________________________________________________________ / - Mazes New Information [TLCMNI] / /_________________________________________________________/ Another easy quest where all you have to do is talk to Maze. Meet him in front of the Oakvale Tavern (he seems to like taverns, eh?) . He tells you he has heard nothing of your sister but he tells you to go and see the Bandit Seeress. She lives with Twinblade in his camp. He leaves a quest card at the guild for you. _________________________________________________________ / - Find the Bandit Seeress [TLCFBS] / /_________________________________________________________/ After getting the quest card from the guild, levelling up and boasting if you wish, make your way to Oakvale. Head to the cave at the bottom-left hand corner of the map. It?s a place called Cliffside path. You must get past the bandits without being seen and get through the gate. If they spot you the gate will close and you will have to kill the bandits and wait for the gate to open. You can kill the bandits but they mustn?t survive the first hit and the other bandits mustn?t see. Its easy if you hold back an arrow for about a minute and aim it at a bandit?s head. Once you have sneaked past or killed the bandits. Next area is Abandoned Road. You have to open all the chests in this area to get the full bandit uniform, which you need on order to get into the Bandit Camp. Walk along killing bandits, beware of the bandits in the guard towers, they can inflict serious damage. When you get to the end, collect the resurrection vial from the top of the hill in the chest. Unless you have somehow got the clothes you need, you will not be able to get into the Demon Door here. Once you have collected all the bandit gear, enter Twinblades Camp. Put on your bandit gear and talk to the Bandit Guard. If you have all the clothes on he will let you in. To get into the next area, Twinblade Elite Camp, you must have a Bandit Pass. You can get it one of two ways; by playing Spot the Addition (see section below for tips) or buying one off the bandit nearby. If you are evil you can just kill the Spot the Addition guy and if you are good you could kill the bandit who has the pass. Show the pass to the bandit guard and you will go through. In Twinblade Elite Camp you must cause a diversion to get into the next area. You can go about this one of three ways. Kill all the bandits, save the villagers by killing the guard and taking his key, or paying the assassins to create a diversion. Never do way three even if you are evil. It?s a waste of gold and you get no experience from it. Now you get to go into Twinblades Tent. Twinblade apparently wants a word with this little hero. After he chitchats you have to battle Twinblade. Wait until he digs his two swords into the ground, get around behind him and get about two shots in. When his health reaches about ¼ the fighting will stop and the Bandit Seeress comes out. OMG it?s your sister. She says what happened after the raid and she apparently gives you a spell (you don?t actually get one) and tells you not to kill Twinblade. She leaves and you are there with Twinblade surrounded by bandits. If you are evil strike at him and all the bandits will run at you and Twinblade will attack, a hint here is to kill all the bandits and then attack Twinblade. If you are good just exit the area the way you came in. Either way the Quest ends and you are told to meet Maze in his quarters. Reward 10,000 experience (from your sister) 4500 gold 1000 renown 1 x Bandit Seal _________________________________________________________ / - Find the Archaeologist [TLCFA] / /_________________________________________________________/ When you meet Maze in his quarters, he asks you to find his friend the Archaeologist, who is hiding out in Witchwood. Teleport to the Witchwood Cullis gate and move ahead. As you exit the winding path into the open area, a rock troll will appear. Rock trolls are just stronger versions of the Earth Troll. Use the same tactic as fighting the Earth Troll and you should be fine. Search the bag he leaves behind for hopefully a ruby and move into the next area; Witchwood Stones. As you enter the area you will see a Demon Door on your left. Talk to him and he will tell you the only way you can get in is if you spell out his name on the four stones nearby. You are meant to go to the Temple of Avo and find the guy who knows his name but we?ll just skip that bit. The letters to make up his name are H-T-I-S, you spell the letters by hitting them with a sword or arrow. If you need the experience type out S-*-*-T and balverines will attack. When you are ready to continue type out the word H-I-T-S and the Demon Door opens. Upon entering Witchwood Cavern the Archaeologist will appear, he is angry at you because he fond the perfect hiding spot and you ruined it. He rushes off after talking for a bit. There is no guild reward but there is some cool stuff to get around the cavern. After finishing the quest, return to the Guild, level up and do whatever you want before continuing with the core quests. It may be a good time to do some side-quests as well. _________________________________________________________ / - White Balverine [TLCWB] / /_________________________________________________________/ Take the quest from the guild and make your way to the lovely town of Knothole Glade. As you enter the area, you see the town has locked the gate leaving some villages stranded. A balverine is attacking them, if you are good protect them, if you are bad protect them then kill them. Either way, after you beat the 4 balverines, the gate will open and the chieftain tells you of the White Balverine attacking the village. When you gain control, hit the White Balverine (the gold marker) ten times to finish the first part. You can not hurt him just so its easiest just to use a weak arrow and not pull back the string for long as well. After that part is done, the chieftain tells you to visit the hunters? wife at the top of the hill. When you get there the White Balverine will ambush you again, hit him another 10 times to make the Hunters wife appear; she tells you the White Balverine is her husband who got bitten fighting the last one. She also gives you a Silver Augmentation to help you kill it. You don?t have to bind it to a weapon, it just helps a bit with the killing of the White Balverine. The White Balverine attacks again (doesn?t he just take a hint), and you will need to attack him a further 5 times; not necessarily with a silver augmented weapon. The balverine runs off and Knothole Glade is saved. You have the beast on the run, so the chieftain says anyway. He tells you to head to Witchwood Lake and bring back its head. Nice. Make your way there and you will see the White Balverine near the lake. Creep around behind him and wind back your bow for a long time. Be warned every time you get 25% off its total health it will call for Balverine support. Let the arrow go, if you used Arkens Crossbow or similar it would have taken quite a chunk off his health. Keep using ranged attacks on him and melee attacks on the normal balverines. When the other balverines appear, concentrate on them before going on to the White balverine. The dodge/roll manoeuvre and Divine Fury/Infernal Wrath really help here as well. When the White Balverine is defeated go back into Knothole Glade. The chieftain tells you that you have been nominated for the Arena. He also says gives you a letter from Theresa and a book from the guild. The quest is now officially over. Reward 6200 gold 800 renown 1 x Theresa's Letter 1 x The Bloodline 1 x White Balverine Head _________________________________________________________ / - The Arena [TLCA] / /_________________________________________________________/ After taking the quest card, boast if you have to and teleport to Knothole Glade. Go through Witchwood Lake to get the Arena Entrance. At this area you can buy a new title from the Title Vender and talk to the Oakvale villagers near the Arena Entrance. When ready to move on, talk to the guard highlighted green. After the cut-scene you are in the Antechamber. Buy as many will and health potions as you can and buy some armour or weapons if you need them. Don?t play Blackjack here either, spend all you money on potions and resurrection vials. When Chameleon dies its your turn to enter the Arena. Make sure you are ready then talk to the guard at the upper exit of the map. The arena comprises of 9 rounds, though you are only meant to know about 8 of them. I recommend not leaving the arena and going back to the Antechamber, as your reward for the next round will be nothing. I will list the enemies in each round, easy ways to kill them and rewards at the end. Round One Reward-100 Gold Enemies- Set 1- 5 green wasps Set 2- 8 green wasps Set 3- 8 red wasps Set 4- 8 armoured wasps Tips- If you need tips on defeating these wasps, you seriously shouldn?t be on the arena Round Two Reward-500 Gold Enemies- Set 1- 3 fighter, 2 mage Hobbes Set 2- 5 fighter, 2 mage Hobbes Set 3- 2 warrior, 3 fighter, 2 mage Hobbes Set 4- 3 warrior, 3 fighter, 2 mage Hobbes Tips- Take out the mage Hobbes first, because there orb attacks can knock you down, letting the other Hobbes gang up around you. Other than that there isn?t much more I can say. Annoying Whisper will come in to help. The only thing she is good for is creating a distraction to lead a few enemies away from you. Round Three Reward-1000 Gold Enemies- Set 1- 3 normal balverines Set 2- 5 normal balverines Set 3- 1 white, 5 normal balverines Set 4- 2 white, 6 normal balverines Tips- Just use ranged attacks on the white balverines and melee on the normal ones. Just make sure they don?t overcrowd you or you might be in some trouble. Round Four Reward-2000 Gold Enemies- Set 1- 8 easy undead Set 2- 2 skeleton warriors, 2 easy undead Set 3- 4 skeleton warriors, 4 easy undead Set 4- 8 skeleton warriors Tips- They are so easy because they are slow moving, so easily pick them off with a bow or a weapon binded with a silver augmentation. Round Five Reward-3000 Gold Enemies- Set 1- 4 normal, 2 ranged bandits Set 2- 4 Bandit leaders and 4 ranged Bandits Set 3- 4 Assassins and 4 elite Bandits Set 4- 4 Elite Bandit leaders, 2 range and 2 melee bandits Tips- Use same strategy for all bandits, pick of the ranged ones first. If the other bandits overwhelm you, use the Arena traps around the edges to take damage off them and keep them in line. It?s so easy just to make them run into the fans, over and over. Round Six Reward-4000 Gold Enemies- Set 1- 2 Earth Trolls Tips- Attack the troll that Whisper is not annoying, hopefully it won?t throw rocks at you so you can concentrate on the one. Use same strategy as all Earth Trolls Round Seven Reward-8000 Gold Enemies- Set 1- 2 Rock Trolls Tips- Attack the troll that Whisper is not annoying, hopefully it won?t throw rocks at you so you can concentrate on the one. Use same strategy as all Rock Trolls Round Eight Reward-10,000 Gold Enemies- Set 1- 1 Scorpion King Tips- You can attack it normally, but it is easiest to damage when it stops still and glows to power up, lay into it then. You have finished the Arena but two heroes are still standing. Jack of Blades tells you to fight Whisper. When her health gets near the end a cut-scene occurs where Whisper tells you that you had a deal. Kill her for obvious evil points and just walk out for good points. Whatever you choose all of Albion will be talking about it. Round Nine Reward-10,000 Gold (only if you kill her) Enemies- Set 1- 1 Whisper Tips- When she goes for her sword charge, get around behind her and lay into her, it?s not that difficult. When you exit a cut-scene happens where you find out who your mother was and you finally get to meet Jack of Blades. Once it ends the quest is over. A bandit appears and tells you to meet Theresa at Grey House. Bowerstone North is also unlocked. (Hint- you can get a chain mail helmet from one of the Oakvale Villages by the gate) Reward- 28,600 - 38,600 gold (less if you went back to the chamber between rounds) 2000 renown 1 x Champion's Seal 1 x King Scorpion Sting _________________________________________________________ / - Finding Theresa Again [TLCFTA] / /_________________________________________________________/ Spend up the experience gained from the Arena if you want to and then teleport to Barrowfields. Then go into the Grey House area. A cut-scene will immediately occur where Theresa tells you that your mother is alive, and Jack is holding her in Bargate Prison. She doesn?t no how to get in but refers you to the only person who knows the secret passage, the Archaeologist. He is being held prisoner and is awaiting to go to Bargate Prison. Theresa leaves a quest card at the guild for you. _________________________________________________________ / - Rescue the Archaeologist [TLCRA] / /_________________________________________________________/ Take the quest card from the guild, boast if you want to and then teleport to Bowerstone South. Walk into Bowerstone North and then into Bowerstone Jail. Its got one holding cell, so I wouldn?t exactly call it a jail. Anyway, you talk to the guard and now your very first minion will appear. They are easy to kill if you have the right weapons and spells. After killing the minions that appear, make your way to Windmill Hill. Upon entering the area, a minion summoner will cast a spell and a barrier will appear at the entrance to Gibbet Woods. Minions will attack you straight away. You have two choices, you can kill all the minions and then kill the minion summoner to release the barrier, or you can run from all the enemies and just kill the minion summoner and quickly run through the barrier. Next area is Gibbet Woods. Once you get into Gibbet Woods, another minion summoner will summon a Rock Troll. Again, you can fight it or run past it. Minions are harassing guards a bit further ahead. Help out the guards and they will join your little team. On to the last area. Prison Path. In the last area, the minions are getting ready to ship the archaeologist to Bargate Prison. You have 5 minutes to kill all the minions in the area. It?s easiest to run down to the pier and battle the minion summoners there. It will stop the reinforcements from being summoned. If time is getting low and there are still a lot of minions, use slow time and divine fury/infernal wrath as a combo. It will really help, especially if the spells are both of a reasonably high level. When they are all dead the archaeologist still hates you, but tells you to look for the way into Bargate Prison by the way of Lynchfield Graveyard. This quest is over. Reward- 7000 gold 500 renown 1 x Minion's Helmet _________________________________________________________ / - The Graveyard Path [TLCGP] / /_________________________________________________________/ Head on down to Lynchfield Grave, the major graveyard of Albion. The gate is closed so go and see the graveyard keeper in his little house and a cut-scene will play. The graveyard keeper talking to his friend about some valuable items he found. He says he hid them around the graveyard and nobody else must no about them. Sucker. His friend leaves and you must go in and talk to him. He opens the gates for you. Go back into his house and grab Nostros Helmet off his shelf, you will need it later. Walk back to the gate and the Graveyard keep will probably be killed by the undead by now, no need for him anyway. Make your way to the furthest tomb and you will see its Nostros. Press A on the tomb and he asks you to find his armour, his helmet, his sword and his shield. They are marked by green dots on the map. If you are slow or just downright lazy, here are the locations. Helmet- Should have gotten it from the graveyard keeper?s house when I told you to. Armour- Lady Fylom?s crypt Sword- Dig where the glowing area is, in Yaggath Sonnog's grave. Shield- Fish outside of the Dark Duke Sibelis' crypt If you need a spade you can find one in a chest near the graveyard keepers house. If you need a fishing rod, you can find one behind the bushes near Nostro?s crypt. \ After giving Nostro all his belongings back, the Demon Door will open and you can waltz on through. In the next area undead will spawn, so kill as many as you want and then follow the path until you get to the end of it. Kill the larger undead at he end anyway you wish and the door will open, next onto the circle of the dead. You will run into many more undead. They are invincible outside the circle so lure them in and kill them there. Kill as many as you need to make the glowing orbs fill and then more, stronger undead will appear. They are also invincible outside the circle. Kill the four of them and then the quest is complete. Reward- 1500 gold 200 renown 1 x Undead Hand _________________________________________________________ / - Rescue Scarlet Robe [TLCRSR] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is possibly the longest quest in this game. After completing the previous quest, the door to the underground chamber should be open. Go on through. This area will be a terrific battle later on. Go on to the next area. Undead will appear, nothing major. Once you get to the centre circle on the map you will have to fight a few undead in order for the barrier to be let down to move on. Watch out for the exploding spores at the end of this area, once again I say they are explosive. The next area, Cliffside Path, is the best area later on for gaining experience. It has infinite undead and with physical shield turned on, you can get some serious experience. The next area is the Underground Passage. You will fight Bargate guards here, but don?t worry, you get good points for killing them, not evil points. At the end of this tunnel is the Torture Chamber. You are reunited with your mother and you have to escape with her. Go back the way you came and make a break for freedom. This is the end of the longest quest in the game. NOT. Sadly Jack stops you and chucks you in a cell and your mother back in the torture chamber. You cannot use will in the cell and all your belongings have been taken from you. Listen to the guy in the cell next to you before a guard comes and you are ready to race. Make sure you win, it isn?t very hard. There is a major shortcut by going in the inside track but you shouldn?t need it. Just follow where the guard points and make it to the Warden first. The prize is ??? listening to the Warden sing a poem. Gee, some prize. Your objective here is to sneak to the other side of the room, get the pin number for a diary, and return to the other side of the room and open the one of the three diaries; however, you must not make noise. There is a meter on the right side of the screen: get the pin and open a diary without the meter filling. If it gets to high, stop where you are and the meter goes down. You must do this before the guard finishes the poem. The chances are that you wont find the key on your first attempt, so you will be thrown back into the cell for a year. Then you must race again. Repeat the same procedure as before and choose another diary. On this try you nearly always get the key. After the cutscene and you are back in your cell, use the key on the cell door to make it open. You can get a stick from one of the cells on the other side of the room if you need to, it wont be necessary though. If you are good, release the prisoners and they will help you. If you are evil, kill the other prisoners. Now leave he cell room. If you go see your mother again, she will tell you that you need your equipment if you want any chance of escaping. When you go back to the courtyard, go up the stairs you went in the race and on the very first left there will be a door. Behind it will be the Barracks. Inside the Barracks you will find a complete set of guards clothes and your missing belongings. Equip your items. After killing the guard that appears, go back to the torture chamber and free your mother. Make you way back through the chambers, protecting her until you get to the final room, the Underground Chamber. Now the Kraken appears (he must have been sleeping before), Boss battle. There are numerous ways on dealing with the Kraken, which can all be found in the Defeating Hard Enemies Section. After its dead, collect the experience orbs and go through the door into the Circle of the Dead. You mother has a talk to you and you now have to find your sister again, what a troubled family. You have now completed one of the longest quests in Fable: The Lost Chapters. Reward 1x Kraken Tooth _________________________________________________________ / - Gateway to Hook Coast [TLCGHC] / /_________________________________________________________/ This quest card is received automatically after the previous quest. When you are ready, make your way to the Ancient Cullis Gate in Darkwood any way you wish. Once you are there you must kill all the undead around the Cullis Gate until the meter on the side is filled. The meter goes down slowly when you are not killing undead. When the Cullis Gate has been satisfied, you will automatically teleport to Hook Coast. Once there you can explore later, but now make your way to the ruined abbey which is represented by the gold marker. When you get there, a magical barrier will be blocking the way. Make your way back to the Guild to speak your mother. When you get near Maze?s Quarters your mother talks to you and appears to be in trouble (again). When you get to the top of Maze?s Quarters you will see her disappear. Take the book off the bench and the quest is completed. Reward- 1 x Arban's Thaumaturgica 4200 gold 500 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Return to Hook Coast [TLCRHC] / /_________________________________________________________/ After you talk to the Guildmaster and accept this quest, you must teleport to Hook Coast to continue. You are about an hour from completing the first part of the game. Go to the ruined abbey and let the Guildmaster read the enchantment. On the way to the abbey screamers will attack you, they are not that hard to kill. Once the enchantment is read a cutscene will play. Now you have to battle Maze, one of the harder bosses you have faced yet. For full details on how to kill him, check the Defeating Hard Enemies section. Basically all you have to do is attack him until his health gets down to a certain point, then he will warp to another area and repeat. When Maze is dead another cutscene shows and the quest is complete. Reward- 1 x Maze's Clasp 16000 gold 1500 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Try to Stop Jack of Blades [TLCSJB] / /_________________________________________________________/ When you get to the guild, the Guildmaster have a word with you and at the end of his talk he will give you the quest card. When you regain control walk into the Cullis gate and you will be teleported to Witchwood. As soon as you appear there, Briar Rose will talk to you and an unlimited amount of monsters will appear. There is no need to rush through this area; you can never stop Jack here. Battle as much as you like, minions, undead or guards alike. You can also take out the odd apprentice if that?s what you wish. After killing all you want, go talk to Jack near the weird stone and you will be teleported to Orchard Farm to find Jack. Make you way to Greatwood Lake, killing as many unlimited enemies as you please. When you get to the Focus Site there, Jack will one again taunt you and disappear. You will walk into the teleporter and appear at Hobbe Cave. Battle your way through and you will meet with Thunder. He will react different whether you killed Whisper in the Arena or not. Either way you will fight your way to the Focus Site. Once again you cannot beat Jack so on to the next area, Bowerstone Jail. I?ll cut the crap. Fight through to Gibbet Woods and miss Jack once again. The next stop is the Guild. Quest over. Reward- 5500 gold 1000 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Battle Jack of Blades [TLCBJOB] / /_________________________________________________________/ Finally you get to kick Jack?s arse, or so you think anyway. Walk towards the Chamber of Fate and the Guildmaster is taking a breather nearby and he tells you that Jack is beyond anything he has ever seen and you must stop him. Walk to the guild caves and inside there you will find an Oak Longbow if you need it. Into the Chamber of Fate you go. Boss battle time, YAY. During the cutscene Jack of Blades slits your mothers throat. Oh well, no need to break down and cry. When you gain control, take out the minions that appear and the shield around Jack will lower. Use Slow Time or whatever you wish to beat him, once he is down to 50% health he will go back to defensive mode again. Shoot him with your arrow until he is dead. Check the Defeating Hard Enemies for a more detailed account. Once he is dead you are faced with a choice. Cast the Sword of Aeons into the Vortex (good) or kill your sister with it (evil). If you are good and think you are missing out on an awesome weapon, don?t worry, you will get its counterpart if you cast it into the vortex. After you have done your choice the quest is over and the first part of the game is complete. Reward- 1 x Jack's Mask 26,000 gold 20,000 renown _________________________________________________________ / - The Prophets of the Fire Heart [TLCPFH] / /_________________________________________________________/ One year later in the Oakvale memorial garden, you get a message from the Guildmaster telling you to meet him at the Demon Door at Lookout Point. Go there to start this new quest. When you get there you meet Scythe, not in person but via a hologram. He will tell you of the enemies called Summoners that have appeared in the Northern Wastes. He needs your help. At the end of the message an arrow hits him and a summoner appears. Firstly you will need the Fire Heart, which is behind the Demon Door nearby. You now have to go behind the Demon Dorr, free the prophets and receive the Fire Heart. If you killed your sister and took the sword of Aeons, you can get into the Demon Door there and then. If the vortex claimed the Sword of Aeons you need to listen to the Guildmaster. He tells you of an ancient sword buried deep within the ground. Go to Maze?s Quarter?s and search one of the bookshelves. After reading Maze?s diary go out to the empty grave nearby and press A. You will get Avo?s Tear, the Sword of Aeons counterpart. It does the same damage but is meant for good players. Go back to the Demon Door and this is weapon is good enough. The Demon Door will let you through and you will meet the prophets of the fire heart. _________________________________________________________ / - Free the Prophets of the Fire Heart [TLCFP] / /_________________________________________________________/ Once you are inside the Demon Door, this quest will occur. You have a choice; you can set them all free or you can kill them all. I don?t really have to say which way is good and which way is evil, do I? The part of the quest that decides this is the puzzle in the centre of the room. If you wan to kill them, you must turn all the suns to moons. If you wish to free them, you must turn all the moons into suns. It isn?t very difficult. After doing the puzzle five times, you will get the fire heart along with the good or evil points for killing or setting them free. Once you are outside the Demon Door, you will talk to the Guildmaster and Briar Rose. After the cutscene, the quest will be completed. Reward- 5000 Gold 250 Renown 1x Fire Band _________________________________________________________ / - The Ship of the Drowned [TLCSD] / /_________________________________________________________/ After buying all the potions and stuff you need, teleport to Hook Coast to continue with the Core Quests. A guard will appear and tell you that the town has been evacuated just as the Guildmaster had told him to. Head up to the top of the lighthouse and place the Fire Heart in the pedestal at the top. Briar Rose will call out to you from the base of the lighthouse and inform you of the ship that is about to appear. Everything seems fine, and then Summoners attack. It appears at the dock and starts launching fireball-type things at the Fire Heart. You must protect the Fire Heart at all costs; you will see the health bar on screen. Run up and take the Summoner out, if you are at a low level this may be tough, but if you have taken time between quests and trained, you should be fine. Use slow time and a combination of melee and ranged attacks. When the first Summoner is dead, another two will appear, along with a horde of minions. Take out the Summoners first as they are the only ones that attack the Fire Heart. Briar Rose helps you but I don?t see how she became a legendary hero; she sucks at battle. Once the Summoners have been killed, the ship of drowned will appear and transport you to the Northern Wastes. When you arrive you have a full head of hair and a heaps big-ass beard. After a few metres of walking, Scythe will appear (once again as a hologram) and tell you to meet him in Snowspire Village. This quest is over. Reward- 5000 Gold 800 renown 1x Map to Lost Bay _________________________________________________________ / - The Oracle of Snowspire [TLCOS] / /_________________________________________________________/ Fight your way through all the areas until you get to Archons Shrine. Briar Rose will meet up with you and after the cutscene head through the entrance to Snowspire. It?s a pretty cool village and a lot can be done here, anyway onto the quest. Once you enter Snowspire you will meet Scythe and he will tell you to awaken the Oracle by getting the Glyphs from the creepy Necropolis. You can get there by the entrance off the Northern Foothills. Once inside, the green dots on you map are the digging locations you can look for the glyphs under. Just dig at all the locations. Some will be fake glyphs and will crumble in your hands, thus summoning minions, but you could use the experience. After collect the three of the four glyphs, make your way across the river and down the narrow path to the end of the area. Near the end, in the small courtyard, an Ice Troll will spawn. Take him down using the Defeating Hard Enemies section. After it?s dead make your way back to the final green dot and defeat the enemies that appear. Once they are dead, open the coffin/tomb and find the last glyph. Once you obtain it, this quest is completed. Reward- 4000 Renown 1x Summoners Gauntlet _________________________________________________________ / - The Oracles Knowledge [TLCOK] / /_________________________________________________________/ Return to Snowspire and speak with Scythe. The both of you will reawaken the Oracle and it will tell you that Jack of Blades is still alive and is getting into his new body behind the Bronze Gate. The Oracle also tells you that you are the one that must defeat him. After the quest is completed you may want to use your Y-M-C-A expressions on the Oracle and learn other stuff about the people and place of Albion. When you are finished, make your way to Archons Shrine. Reward- Absolutely Nothing _________________________________________________________ / - The Souls of Heroes [TLCSH] / /_________________________________________________________/ When you enter Archons Shrine and talk to Briar Rose, she will tell you that in order to open the Bronze Gate, you must collect the souls of three heroes?. She has deciphered the first inscription, the Arena Champion. Arena Champion- This the first soul of three you must collect. Teleport to Knothole Glade, where you will find Thunder looking for work from the Chieftain. This is a rather funny cutscene and at the end of it Thunder isn?t happy. He tells you that the soul you need is in the Arena itself. You have a choice here, if you are evil kill Thunder then and there (check Defeating Hard Enemies section for help), or if you are good you can go to the Arena to collect the soul. I will explain the good way since the bad way isn?t that hard. Head to the Arena, at the entrance you will find everyone dead. When you get to the Hall of Heroes, guards will be there and tell you what happened. Summoners will now appear and you must kill them all, when they are dead open the door to the Antechamber. Inside, you can swipe some items from the shop because no one will care; they are all dead. When you are prepared, go to the Arena ring outside. It is now going to be like the Arena quest before, but much harder. This time there will be six waves of monsters, which comprise of minions, balverines, trolls and Summoners. When they are all defeated and you have trapped the Soul in Jacks mask, head back to Archons Shrine. When the soul has been placed in the Shrine, Briar Rose reads the next inscription, the heroine. The Heroine- This can mean one of two people; your mother or Briar Rose herself. If you are evil and wish to kill Briar Rose, check the Defeating Hard Enemies section. Once again I will explain the good way, since the bad way isn?t that hard. Head to the Oakvale Memorial Garden. Once inside your mother talks to you and tells you Jack has sent Screamers after you. I know I said before that Screamers aren?t difficult, but that was only when we were dealing with one or two. When they are in a large pack like now, they can take some serious health off you in mere seconds. Kill screamers until the meter on the side fills up, and when it does you will collect your mothers soul. When it is collected, teleport back to Archons Shrine The Oldest Soul- When you place your mothers or Thunders soul back into its place, Briar Rose reads the last inscription, The Oldest Soul. Briar Rose is having difficulties in finding out who that it is. Jack pipes in and says it?s the Guildmaster, Briar Rose says it did come to mind but she is going back to the Guild to study. Teleport to the guild and speak to the acolyte. He tells you that they fouled that they mean Nostro, and that the Guildmaster is hiding in the woods. If you are evil, go and kill the Guildmaster in the woods, which is linear and doesn?t really need explaining. If you are good, teleport to Lynchfield Graveyard and head towards the Circle Of the Dead. A whole war seems to be happening, you can participate or run on through. When you get to the end, you will find Nostro. He wants you to kill him as a warrior and he wont go easy on you. This battle is not that hard, the only difficult bit is when Nostro has his Undead out, and is impossible to hit. Use slow Time and take out all the undead, then attack Nostro with flourishes. Once he is defeated, collect his soul and go back to Archons Shrine. Now that you have collected all the souls, this quest is completed. Reward- It really depends which souls you got Reward- 8000 Gold 100 Renown 1x Archons Tablet _________________________________________________________ / - The Final Battle [TLCFB] / /_________________________________________________________/ The Bronze Gates are open and the way to Archons Folly is clear. Time for the final boss of Fable: The Lost Chapters. You don?t know what form Jack is going to take, but as Briar Rose said, it isn?t going to be small and furry. When you enter the folly, you realize that Jack has taken the form of a dragon. To defeat him, use a combination of slow time and a ranged attack, I prefer Skorms bow. For full tips on defeating him, check the Defeating Hard Enemies Section below (again). Once Jack of Blades (or is it claws now) you will get another choice. To wear his mask or throw it into the lava. IF you wear it you can never take it off and you will become pure evil forever. Once you have made the choice, watch the narration at the end and don?t skip the credits, if you do you will have to reload from the Autosave in Archons Folly. If you watch all the credits you can play afterwards. You have now officially completed the Core Quests of Fable: The Lost Chapters. Well Done Reward- 20,000 Gold 2000 Renown _________________________________________________________ / 7. Silver Quest Walkthrough [TLCSQ] / /_________________________________________________________/ Silver Quests are not essential to the advancing the storyline and can be done for collection renown, experience and gold. Doing this quest will be an on-the-spot quest, not a quest which will take a fair while to do. Hero Saves are included. _________________________________________________________ / - Hobbe Killing Contest [TLCHCK] / /_________________________________________________________/ After picking this quest card of the map room table, make your way to Orchard Farm. Once you get there, head towards the apple tree area until you reach the cut-scene. The farmer will tell you what to do and once you gain control you have 3 minutes and 30 seconds to kill more Hobbes than Whisper. Run down to the island area and start attacking Hobbes. I?d keep away from Whisper during this quest because if there is one thing I hate, it?s when you attack a creature and get its health down really low, when Whisper goes in for the final strike and takes your kill. She does it in the arena quest as well and it means less experience for you. When the time runs out, and if you have killed more Hobbes than Whisper, you will complete this quest. Reward- 900 gold 200 renown 1 x Hobbe Tooth Trophy _________________________________________________________ / - Hobbe Cave [TLCHC] / /_________________________________________________________/ Take the quest card, do a few boasts and teleport to Greatwood Cullis Gate. From there, head towards Rose Cottage and meet with the grandmother. After she talks to you and gives you the Hexagon Key, make your way back to the Greatwood Cullis Gate area and through to Greatwood Caves. Once there, chop the vines down and head down into the cave. When you enter the cave, kill all the Hobbes you need to and head to the first door on the right. Inside is a trapped bandit. Take out all the Hobbes, and then you have the choice. I would take him even if you are good; he has value later on. Go back out and fight your way to the end chamber, near the focus site. There you will find the boy who is being guarded by the Nymph. If you are evil and the bandit is still alive, trade the bandit for the boy. If you are good, reject the trade and pull back on your bow. Once you think you have enough power behind the bow, let it go. Hopefully you killed it in one shot, if not, attack it some more times until it is. Now for the hardest part of this quest, getting out of there. If you still have the bandit coming with you, use him as a distraction and kill the Hobbes from behind. Make sure you regularly use heal life on the boy and the bandit. Physical Shield helps here as well. Once you make it out into Greatwood Caves there are no more enemies to deal with. If the bandit is still with you he wants half of what you found down there. Refuse him and kill him, no matter what your alignment is. At this stage of the game you need all the gold you can get. Reward- 5500 gold 400 renown 1 x Hobbe Head Trophy _________________________________________________________ / - Trader Massacre [TLCTM] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is the evil version of Trader Rescue, but the good thing is you can do both of them. I would do both of them because by doing that you can gain a cool 10000 gold, even if your alignment will move a small way along evil. If you want to be a specific alignment the whole way through I would recommend only doing the one that will help you with your alignment. Once you gain this quest, teleport to Barrowfields. You will have a brief conversation with a bandit and then the quest will start. This is obviously an evil quest, as you are slaughtering a whole town of innocents. Run down and kill all the traders, guards will infinitely spawn until the last trader is killed. When you have killed them all (or let the bandits kill them all), the bandits will find the last trader. They give you the honours of killing him, kill him for more evil points or say no for good points. He dies anyway so you aren?t really saving a life. Reward- 5000 gold 400 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Trader Rescue [TLCTR] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is the good version of Trader Massacre, but the good thing is you can do both of them. I would do both of them because by doing that you can gain a cool 10000 gold, even if your alignment will move a small way along evil. If you want to be a specific alignment the whole way through I would recommend only doing the one that will help you with your alignment. Once you get this quest teleport to Twinblades Camp. Doing this quest will make up for the evil you did in Barrowfields (if you went there). Once you enter the area a guard will appear and tell you to do the whole quest on his own. He extremely scared, even for a guard, and if I had the chance I would have killed him. Anyway, make your way down to the trader stalls, killing bandits along the way. Talk to the trader and escort him to the Cullis gate area, where he will be safe. Head into Twinblades Elite Camp and kill all the bandits there. When the coast is clear talk to both the traders and make your way to the exit. Kill all the bandits that have just appeared and use heal life if necessary. When you enter the first area you went to, there will be more bandits, which you have to kill. Once that is down send both the bandits to the Cullis gate area where they will be freed and the quest will be over. We never see that guard again, luck for him. Reward- 5000 gold 400 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Darkwood Disturbance [TLCDD] / /_________________________________________________________/ After getting this quest, make your way to Darkwood Lake and it?s there you will meet with Briar Rose. She is extremely grateful for your help to say the least. She shows you the shrine that minions have been doing a ceremony around, and then minions appear. You have to kill them while protecting Briar Rose, as she will be disabling the shrine. It isn?t really that hard because after the initial group, minions will only appear singularly or at the most in groups of two. Once the time goes to the end, the portal is closed and the minions are defeated. Reward- 3500 gold 100 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Break the Siege [TLCBS] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is one of my least favourite quests; I?m not sure why but it just is. Make sure you buy slow time at the guild before continuing. When you are ready to continue, teleport to Knothole Glade. Once you get there the bandit leader asks you to make them release the bandit that is being held hostage. Too bad you can never do that; you must always side with the chief. Enter the gates and speak with the chief. It appears you must kill all the bandits out there before they rescue their hostaged leader. You can get the help of a few of the guards around the town; they will help halt the enemy for a time. Before asking the guard to open the gate, walk up onto the path ledge, which leads to a small platform. From here you can take out a few bandits without, having to meet them face to face, this will make it a bit easier later. When you are ready, tell the guard to open the gate. Once the gate is opened, activate slow time and wait. When the bandits start to appear, kill them by using you melee or ranged attacks. When slow time wears off activate it again. If you took the boast, you may want t run out and kill the bandit siege leader, but it?s up to you. If the bandits reach the hostage, make sure he does not escape and you don?t kill him. When most of the bandits are dead this quest is completed. Reward- 5000 gold 450 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Lost Trader [TLCLT] / /_________________________________________________________/ A rather easy quest and the prize is a treasure clue, goodie. Once getting the quest, make your way to Oakvale and go to the abandoned road, the area where you got your bandit outfit during the bandit Seeress quest. Once you get there you will meet the trapped traders brother. Fight your way along the road until you meet the traders? brother. Talk to him and lead him back to his brother, killing all the bandits along the way. Once you get back, quest over. Reward- 2600 gold 150 renown Treasure Clue _________________________________________________________ / - Execution Tree Rescue [TLCETR] / /_________________________________________________________/ Like the Orchard Farm core quest, you can only take one of the two quests, Execution Tree or Execution Tree rescue. Execution Tree Rescue is the one for evil people and the plain Execution Tree is for good people. For this quest, make your way to Bowerstone Jail where you will meet a few bandits and the quest will begin. You have a set amount of time to head to Headsman Hill and free the prisoner. Head towards there killing all the guards you wish and if you are low on time skip them and run ahead. Once you enter Headsman Hill, all you have to do is kill the executioner and this quest is completed. Reward- 4600 gold 200 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Execution Tree [TLCET] / /_________________________________________________________/ Like the Orchard Farm core quest, you can only take one of the two quests, Execution Tree or Execution Tree rescue. Execution Tree Rescue is the one for evil people and the plain Execution Tree is for good people. For this quest, make your way to Bowerstone Jail where you will meet two guards who are escorting the bandit prisoner to Headsman Hill to be hanged. Along the way you will be attacked by groups of bandits trying to get their friend back. If you get too far away from the bandit, he will try and run for it, you will have to go and catch him before he gets away. Once you get to Headsman Hill, the final group of bandits will attack you and when they are dead, the bandit goes for the chop and the quest is over. Reward- 4500 gold 200 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Bounty Hunt [TLCBH] / /_________________________________________________________/ Grab the quest card, boast if you wish and walk to Greatwood Entrance. Just before entering, a woman will meet you and tell you about the quest, enter Greatwood. Upon entering, a cutscene will show where the hostages are being taken. Kill all the bandits in this area and head through the gate to Fisher Creek. Save the villager by killing the six or so bandits and when he is saved, he tells you that his sister is being held at Greatwood Lake. Head there and save the girl from the bandit leader and she thanks you, this quest ends now and you gain an important item. Reward- 5400 gold 400 renown Treasure Clue __________________________________________________________ / - Bandit Spy Extraction [TLCBSE] / /_________________________________________________________/ This quest is for evil players or good players who need the extra cash. Take the quest and boast. Head to Bowerstone North and meet with Tanya, a deep cover bandit spy (she pretty much yells this out, some spy). She tells you to go and save a bandit spy who has been undercover, stealing stuff from the group of traders. He is being lured into a trap and can be recognised by his long trader moustache. No need to remember that as he will be highlighted in green. Once you enter Bowerstone Jail, you have a choice to hire some bandits or not. The cost for hiring them is 100 gold, which is a small price to pay for a distraction. When you are ready move ahead. You can either kill the guards or run straight past them. If you are quick enough you will catch the bandit spy (Otto) at the base of Windmill Hill. When you speak to him all the guards and traders will try to kill him. Use slow time and kill them all off. Use heal life on Otto if necessary. Collect the loot from the traders for some valuable items. Make your way back to Bowerstone North killing everyone on the way. Once you enter, Tanya will appear and thank you. Quest completed. Reward- 1 x Trader's Head 5800 gold 400 renown _________________________________________________________ / - Ransom Victim [TLCRV] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is the last silver quest that I am going to list. After collecting the quest card teleport to Knothole Glade. Talk to the chieftain and find his son has been kidnapped by bandits, head to Witchwood cavern, the place where you first found the archaeologist. When you get there you can either pay the bandit the gold or kill him. It costs a lot of gold so I would just recommend killing him. On the way back, if you killed the bandit leader, bandits will attack you. Once you get back to knothole glade you can either give the boy to his brother (evil) or his father (good). If you give the boy to his father you can rat out his brother for more good points. Quest completed. Reward- 3000 gold 500 renown _________________________________________________________ / 8. Bronze Quests Walkthrough [TLCBQ] / /_________________________________________________________/ The majority of these quests will take the whole game to complete. They include no hero saves either. _________________________________________________________ / Fist Fighters Gang [TLCFFG] / /_________________________________________________________/ This quest will take the majority of the game to complete. You must go, at night, to Bowerstone South Quay, Oakvale, Twinblades Elite Camp and then Knothole Glade to participate. In each contest you must knock the opponent out without you, yourself being knocked out. An easy way to do this is to attack them and then flourish, which knocks them to the ground. As they are getting back up, get around behind them and pound into their backs. You must not leave the ring for more than 10 seconds; this doesn?t seem to apply to the opposition. Once you have defeated all the competitions in the other towns you get to fight the Knothole Glade Chieftain. After defeating him the quest is over. Reward- Fist Fighters Trophy Whatever gold you collected _________________________________________________________ / Collect the Hero Dolls [TLCCHD] / /_________________________________________________________/ When you collect your first hero doll, a boy in Bowerstone South will tell you his teacher is looking to trade for the entire set. To get the dolls you must beat the tavern games with a preset high score, with the exception of the Thunder Hero Doll, which can be bought at the Arena or Bowerstone North Shop. - Briar Rose - Complete the Card Pairs game in Bowerstone south tavern in 27 seconds or less. - Whisper - Win the Coin Golf game in the Oakvale Tavern in 10 strokes or less. - Twinblade - Complete the Spot the Addition game at the Bandit camp in under 20 seconds. - Scarlet Robe - Win the Card Order game in the Knothole Glade tavern in 24 seconds or less. - Thunder - You can buy this doll in either the Arena or Bowerstone North shop. - Doll of You - Kill an assassin during the Assassin Attacks quest and they will drop one. Or you could buy it in the Bowerstone North shop. - Maze - Score 30 points or more in the Shove Ha'penny game in the Tavern - Scythe - Complete the Coin Golf game in the tavern in Snowspire Village in less than 10 strokes. Give the teacher al the Hero dolls to complete the quest. Reward- Jack of Blades Hero Doll _________________________________________________________ / Beardy Baldy [TLCBB] / /_________________________________________________________/ A pointless little quest with no good rewards or gold. Ill just briefly explain it then. He tells you about how his daughter wishes to be married and she only likes certain haircuts. He will then give you style cards and you will have to go to the hairdressers in Bowerstone South to get done. Once you have all the haircuts you realize he has no daughter and all you get off him is a tattoo. Pointless. Reward- 1 x Pudding Basin 1 x Mutton Chop Beard 1 x Trader Style Moustache 1 x Fire Monkey Tattoo 100 experience 100 gold pieces (when you leave the Quay) 100 renown (when you leave the Quay) _________________________________________________________ / The Sick Child [TLCSC] / /_________________________________________________________/ After your talk with Maze in Bowerstone South, a small girl will find you and ask you to follow her, follow here to her mother and you will be given this quest. You must find 4 blue mushrooms and give them to the witch in Bowerstone Quay, in order to cure the sick child. Here is the list of where to get the mushrooms. 1. Talk to two men by the statue at Lookout Point. They will tell you that they lost a mushroom while at the Guild. Next, fish in the ripples near the demon door in the Guild to get the mushroom. 2. Make the woman laugh at the Picnic area, use the Cossack dance. 3. On the bench in Barrowfields, you can either buy it for 1500 gold or steal it. 4. Talk to Cyril in the guild woods and then go back and forth between him and the woman by the well in Oakvale. Go back and give the mushrooms to the witch. He witch will give you the cure, which you must give to the boy. The quest ends now. Reward- 2000 gold 200 renown _________________________________________________________ / Fishing Lessons [TLCFL] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is one simple quest. Go to Fisher Creek and kill the wasps holding the fisherman captive. As a reward, you will obtain a fishing rod if you didn?t have one already. He will teach you to fish and when you fish for the first time in that area you will gain the trophy and finish the quest. Reward- Golden Fish _________________________________________________________ / Fishing Competition [TLCFC] / /_________________________________________________________/ Return to Fisher Creek and you will find a fishing competition has been set up. You have to fish all round Albion to get heavy fish to enter. Talk to the men by the house to find out where the largest fish are. The prizes are as follows. Rod of Champions - 15 grams Silver Key - 30 grams Fisherman Hat - 50 grams No one else is in the comp so you have the whole game to find the biggest fish. My best size is something like 5600g, which I caught at the Lost Bay. _________________________________________________________ / Murder with a Twist [TLCMT] / /_________________________________________________________/ Go to Oakvale and go where you found the cheating husband at the start of the game. Instead, this time a guard will be there and he will tell you to kill an assassin that has been hiding out near Twinblades Tent. Make your way there and talk to the assassin near Twinblades Tent. The assassin will tell you the guard is his brother and the only reason his brother wants him dead is because of their mothers will. Take out your weapon and the assassin will bribe you: 2000 gold to kill his brother instead. Evil players say no and he will up the bribe to 2500. If you are evil go back to Oakvale and kill the guard. If you are good just kill the assassin then and there and go back to Oakvale to accept your reward. Reward- Depends which person you killed and how much they offered. _________________________________________________________ / Investigating the Mayor [TLCIM] / /_________________________________________________________/ To do this quest you must not have married Lady Grey. Talk to the crazy man in the jail cell to get information. From what he tells you, head to Barrowfields to meet the majors? sisters? boyfriend. Lady Grey?s sister is dead so he?s sort of her ex-boyfriend. He is near the Demon Door, when you get to him he will tell you about how Lady Grey hated him and didn?t want them to be together. He tells you that he used to light a lamp three times in the stable to let her know that it was him. Then they used to go to the cellar. Head to Grey house and flash your lamp three times by the stable and you see Amanda?s (Lady Greys sister) ghost leave the house and descend into the cellar. Walk up to the cellar door on the side of the house and enter. Her ghost will tell you that she died in the cellar waiting for her boyfriend to come but ever did. Grab the letter off her skeleton and Lady Grey will appear. You have a choice here, expose her or give her the letter, marry her and forget this happened. If you expose her you get to become major of Bowerstone, which gives access to the manor. If you marry her you get a good amount for the dowry and be able to gain access to the Grey house demon door. _________________________________________________________ / The Mayors Invitation [TLCMI] / /_________________________________________________________/ Once you talk to the mayor for the first time and you do not wish to expose her, you have to do the following steps in order to marry her. 1. Give Lady Grey a black rose, which can only be bought from the Bowerstone North Shop. 2. Buy a house and don?t live in it or rent it out. 3. Dig between the two wrecked boats on the beach in Oakvale to find her necklace. 4. Battle Thunder at Headsman Hill and beat him (see Defeating Hard Enemies section) You now get to marry Lady Grey and you receive a dowry of 15,000 gold. Reward- 15,000 gold dowry 1000 renown _________________________________________________________ / Archery Contest [TLCAC] / /_________________________________________________________/ No matter how many prizes you get, this quest will never leave your active quests page, it is never-ending. The man will tell you how to play the game. The aim of the game is to get the highest score possible. If you beat your high score two times you will get the following items. You can get these items by killing him but unfortunately hw ill never return if you do kill him. Reward- Treasure Clue Silver Arrow Trophy _________________________________________________________ / Assassin Attacks [TLCAA] / /_________________________________________________________/ After the siege in Knothole Glade, the Guildmaster will contact you via your guild seal and he will tell you that Twinblade has hired assassins to take your life. They attack you in the following locations. - Knothole Glade - Witchwood Cullis Gate, - Prison Path, - Windmill Hill - Hook Coast When they are all dead, this quest is competed. Reward- Treasure Clue _________________________________________________________ / Hidden Booty Hunt [TLCHBH] / /_________________________________________________________/ You must collect all the treasure clues from around Albion. Here are their locations. - Reward from assassin attacks - Windmill Hill treasure Chest - Archery Competition - Orchard Farm Treasure Chest - Lost Trader Quest - Bounty Hunt Quest Once you have all the clues you can look for the treasure. Make your way to Orchard Farm and in front of the barn is a bale of hay. Dig between the barn and the hay and you will find the booty. The booty is a frying pan. If the frying pan does no damage then you probably got the Frying Pan before you obtained all the clues. It only does damage after you collect all the clues THEN dig up the Frying Pan. _________________________________________________________ / Hidden Sword [TLCHS] / /_________________________________________________________/ This bronze quest is pretty much explained in the core quest where you obtain Avo?s Tear. I?ll go over it again just to be sure. Head into the guild and check Maze's tower for clues about the sword. Once you've picked up the clues, head downstairs and press A on the empty grave. You will now obtain Avo?s Tear. You can only gain this sword if you cast the sword of Aeons into the vortex. _________________________________________________________ / Ghost Granny Necklace [TLCGGN] / /_________________________________________________________/ Once you have accepted this quest, go to Orchard Farm and talk yo the only green dot there. After this, go to Greatwood Lake and kill the bandit who has the necklace. Give it back to the ghost and quest over. Not a lot of reward is given. You can dig up the granny?s grave and receive a dress piece. Wearing a dead ladies clothes seems... cool. _________________________________________________________ / Chapel of Skorm [TLCCS] / /_________________________________________________________/ Credit to Aaron Phillips (The_Evil_Smile@hotmail.com) This section has been taken directly out of his guide and I wish to thank him for it. If you wish to tell him how helpful this is, email him. Because they are so complicated (at first) and there are so many people saying so many different things about the temples, I decided to give a little time to them and added this section. To know what your alignment level is, go to your personality, count the empty blocks on your alignment side and subtract that number from 7. Note, you want to use your BASE alignment level, so any tattoos or clothing that modifies your alignment have to be removed. You will need to have access to both Temples for this to work. Chapel of Skorm """"""""""""""" The Chapel of Skorm can be found in Darkwood, it is located east of Darkwood Camp, so find your way to Darkwood Camp to get to the Chapel. Temple of Avo """"""""""""" The Temple of Avo can be found in Witchwood, it is on the path from Witchwood Cullis Gate to Knothole Glade, you can't miss it, literally. HERE IS HOW TO GET THE REWARDS """""""""""""""""""""""""""""" It is very important to not try and do either Temple on its own; you need to do them together. Donate gold at the Temple of Avo during the day and sacrifice people at the Chapel of Skorm at night. On average you will need 50,000 gold to complete the Temple of Avo. You don't HAVE to do both temples together, but if you want my GARENTEE that you will get the rewards, do them at the same time as I listed. AGAIN USE YOUR BASE ALIGNMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Note the last method that takes level 2 good to level 2 evil and takes you turn EVIL by killing guards, this is because donating gold at the Temple of Avo BEFORE you get the rewards can screw up your ability to get the rewards. You very first donation EVER, should be the donation for the Sentinus. If you don't want to kill guards because you're 'GOOD' then go kill bandits and what not until you are at least level 3 GOOD alignment. With any scenario, save before you start and if it fails, load and try again. In the cases where it fails at the Temple of Avo, add a little bit more gold (up to like 10%). But if it is the Chapel of Skorm, try sacrificing at midnight, I've never 'had' to sacrifice at a specific time, but so many people stand by the midnight decision so it may be worth a shot if you are having problems. Also note that you do need to be a higher GOOD alignment level to get Skorms Bow, I recommend at least level 5, even though it can be done at level 4, its a lot harder because of the amount of EVIL points you have to obtain in one sacrifice. Scenario 1: STARTING @ Level 3 or higher EVIL Alignment 1. Donate 35,000 gold - The Sentinus 2. Donate 5000 gold - the gift of youth 3. Donate 1000 gold until you are rewarded - Paladin Title 4. Donate 1000 gold at a time until level 3 or higher GOOD alignment 5. Sacrifice the Avo mercenary - Skorms Bow 6. Sacrifice the Oakvale mercenary - Gift of extended life 7. Sacrifice the Bowerstone mercenary - Necromancer title 8. Kill guards to get your EVIL back to where it was originally Scenario 2: STARTING @ Level 4 or higher GOOD Alignment 1. Sacrifice the Avo mercenary - Skorms Bow 2. Sacrifice the Oakvale mercenary - Gift of extended life 3. Sacrifice the Bowerstone mercenary - Necromancer title 4. Kill guards until level 3 or higher EVIL alignment 5. Donate 35,000 gold - The Sentinus 6. Donate 5000 gold - the gift of youth 7. Donate 1000 gold until you are rewarded - Paladin Title 8. Donate as much gold as you need to, to restore your alignment Scenario 3: STARTING @ Level 2 GOOD alignment to Level 2 EVIL Alignment 1. Kill guards until level 3 or higher EVIL alignment 2. Donate 35,000 gold - The Sentinus 3. Donate 5000 gold - the gift of youth 4. Donate 1000 gold until you are rewarded - Paladin Title 5. Donate 1000 gold at a time until level 3 or higher GOOD alignment 6. Sacrifice the Avo mercenary - Skorms Bow 7. Sacrifice the Oakvale mercenary - Gift of extended life 8. Sacrifice the Bowerstone mercenary - Necromancer title 9. Kill guards or donate gold to get your alignment back on track IF YOU ARE ONLY GOOD AND DON'T WANT ANY EVIL """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" In that case, you can't ever, never and I mean never ever in a billion years get the Chapel of Skorm rewards. I must say, this is incredibly stupid and because of the huge costs, I don't recommend it. The numbers I've given you are numbers I've used ONLY ONCE, unlike the above method where you accomplish both temples at the same time and tested each value over and over until I got the best number to put in this guide. So if these numbers don't work for you, tough, I tested them at the alignment levels listed, it worked, I got it, I had to test it a couple times when I didn't get it, I consider it a waste of 2 hours testing the temples for you losers not willing to compromise your alignment but are still too lazy to not figure this stuff out for yourself. Sorry, I just had to rant because I had to spend so much time earning money to get the Sentinus at a level 7 GOOD alignment character. STARTING @ Level 5 or higher GOOD Alignment 1. Donate 90,000 gold - The Sentinus 2. Donate 30,000 gold - gift of youth 3. Donate 20,000 gold - Paladin title STARTING @ Level 3 or 4 GOOD Alignment 1. Donate 60,000 gold - The Sentinus 2. Donate 20,000 gold - gift of youth 3. Donate 10,000 gold - Paladin title STARTING @ Neutral to level 2 GOOD Alignment 1. Donate 45,000 gold - The Sentinus 2. Donate 10,000 gold - gift of youth 3. Donate 5,000 gold - Paladin title IF YOU ARE ONLY EVIL AND DON'T WANT ANY GOOD """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" You're screwed.... like seriously screwed. Sacrifice like 10 villagers and then try sacrificing the Avo mercenary, then the Oakvale mercenary, then the Bowerstone South mercenary and finally the Twinblade camp mercenary. But you will need to sacrifice a lot of villagers and wives... I'm not even going to test this, I sacrificed all 4 mercs, and started on the villagers without getting and after testing the Temple of Avo, you lazy butholes can do it until you get it, I told you how, I did my part. _________________________________________________________ / Temple of Light [TLCTL] / /_________________________________________________________/ Look above for more information _________________________________________________________ / Sword in the Stone [TLCSS] / /_________________________________________________________/ In the temple of Avo area, head to the green dots clumped together on the mini-map. There you will find some Knothole Glade villagers trying continuously to pull the sword out of the stone. There are two ways in which you can pull the sword out of the stone. 1. Have all your strength stats maxed 2. Increase your physique by 5, health by 2 and toughness by 3. Reward- Harbinger 100 Renown _________________________________________________________ / Chicken Kicking Contest [TLCCKC] / /_________________________________________________________/ There are two quests here rolled into one. Go to the green dot near the east beach in Oakvale and the man will tell you of a little ghost problem. Walk down and talk to the ghost, who will tell you his soul cannot rest until his wife has his gold he buried. He wants you to dig near the jetty on the other beach and give the gold you find to his wife (who is represented by the green dot nearby. When you have given her the gold, go back to the ghost and he will tell you where his stash is buried. Go and collect it and when you come back, the chicken kicking competition will be up and running. The guy there will explain what to do so I wont bother to go over it again. The reward system for the chicken kicking comp is as follows 50 - 145 points: Cock Call expression 150 - 245 points: A silver key 250+: A chicken hat Once you have gained all the prizes, the prizes tun into gold rewards. _________________________________________________________ / Bandit/Guard Trap [TLCBT] / /_________________________________________________________/ Not really a quest but when you are on the way to fight the White Balverine, in the Witchwood stones area a man will run up and talk to you. He tells you his wife is being mauled by a balverine and he needs your help. Follow him to the stones. If you are evil guards will ambush you and if you are good bandits will ambush you. When they are all dead you can talk to the man who tricked you and kill him if you wish. Reward- Resurrection Vial _________________________________________________________ / 9. Defeating Hard Enemies [TLCDHE] / /_________________________________________________________/ Normal Enemies and Allies (if you wish to kill them), the difficulty ratings are what I think; they may be different from what you think. Wasps- You first meet these enemies as a child when you have to defeat them in the Guild Woods. Not much explaining to do here, just use any weapons and they will soon be dead. Difficulty Rating-1/10 Villagers- These ?creatures? are really easy and you can kill them in just about any way, they sometimes fight back with fists but most of the time they run away scared and you have to hunt them down if you wish. Difficulty Rating- 1/10 Guards- You first meet these people as a child but you can not kill them at that stage of the game. As soon as you leave the guild you can fight these people, but it is unadvised due to your probable low levelness. Difficulty Rating- 3/10 Bandits- These enemies are first met if you chose to play with Whisper in the Guild Woods as a teenager in the guild training. They are just about the same strength as guards and are slightly easier to kill, only slightly though. There are different types of Bandits including Elite Bandits, Assassins and ranged bandits. Difficulty Rating- 3/10 Nymphs- Nymphs are those fast-flying orbs that are difficult to kill if you don?t know what you are doing. They are invincible when they are in their orb-like state and can only be damaged when the open up. This happens every now and again to launch a particular kind of attack, depending on their specie. Difficulty Rating- 5/10 Trolls- There are 3 different types if trolls in this game; earth trolls, rock trolls and ice trolls. The order I put them in is the order you meet them, and their level of difficulty. These big things have tons of HP and will do lots of damage to you if you try to hit them with your sword. The best bet is to stay far away. They throw rocks at you as well. If you have fast reflexes or use slow time, you can hit the rocks back at them, which helps a lot as well. The toughest troll is the ice troll, who has some attacks that you cannot see and you will get hit regularly if you are not careful. Difficulty Rating- 4-7/10 Balverines- Balverines are not that tough but they are strong and fast, you first meet them on the Trader Escort Core Quest but they are most commonly found in Witchwood and the surrounding areas. They are quite easily killed if you activate slow time and hack at them. They can disappear up in the sky for a little amount of time and can reappear at any second. Difficulty Rating- 5/10 Minions- Minions are first sent to fight you when you have to rescue the archaeologist from being sent to Bargate Prison. They are not that hard but can be a killer if you do not have the right weapon. If you have no powerful or legendary weapons I would use an obsidian cleaver, it really helps a lot. There are two types of minions, normal ones and minion summoners. The minion summoners can fire orbs at you and sometimes summon normal minions to their aid. Difficulty Rating- 5/10 Summoners- You meet these powerful enemies during the Ship of the Drowned. They are super-hard if you are not prepared and take a fair while to kill. They fire large orbs at you but these take a few seconds to power up, giving you that small advantage. Use slow time if you are finding these fights difficult. Difficulty Rating- 8/10 Bosses Wasp Queen- You fight this boss in the wasp menace core quest, your first upon entering the guild. Don?t get too close to this boss; you can?t use your sword for this one because she will lunge at you and hurt you. Use a bow or long-range spell instead. Every now and again she will spawn smaller wasps, which I recommend you kill before focusing you attention once again to the queen. Difficulty Rating- 3/10 Twinblade- You get to defeat Twinblade during the bandit Seeress quest. You will not be able to inflict damage upon him unless you swing at his back. Every now and again he will do an almighty sword attack where he plunges both his swords in the ground. Take advantage of this moment and walk around to the back of him and kill him a few hits. While he is not stuck in the ground, have your weapon put away and hold Y while locked onto him, and just keep rolling until he sticks his weapons in the ground, get behind him, bring out you weapon and hit him. Assassin rush works very well here. Blocking his attacks do nothing, they are just too powerful. Keep doing that until he?s beaten. Difficulty Rating- 5/10 White Balverine- This enemy is the one you attack during the quest of its very name. They will also appear during the balverine round during the arena quest. Fight it for a little bit and once its health drops to 75% it calls for back up and a normal Balverine comes. I recommend killing the normal one before starting on the White Balverine again, because when the White Balverine hits about 50% it calls for more back up again, this time 2 normal Balverines come. Again, I'd kill the normal ones first; the White Balverine will call 3 more normal ones when you get it down to below 25% health. Another possible way is to let the White Balverine summon the normal ones and still concentrate on the White one, once the White Balverine is dead, kill off the normal ones. A silver augmented weapon will help a lot here as well. Difficulty Rating- 5/10 Whisper- You fight Whisper and challenge her throughout the course of the game, but the major fight comes in at the last round of the arena. Whisper is a very fast opponent, but what she makes up with speed she lacks in strength. This makes defeating her very easy. Every once in a while she will do a sort of fencing move where she gets her sword and sword of assassin rushes with it, but much more slowly. Take this opportunity to hit her and continue to do so. Be careful of her magic grenade attack, it?s really annoying. Difficulty Rating- 4/10 Thunder- Thunder is a bit harder than whisper but not by much. You fight Thunder if you choose to marry Lady Grey, or you fight him later if you wish to, during the Soul of Heroes core quest. He will block pretty much any attack except a flourish, so make sure to use them. Also, Slow Time is a lifesaver here. Back away when he does his lightning thing to try to stay out of its range. He is fairly easy to defeat if you know how. Difficulty Rating- 5/10 Kraken- When defeating this boss during the Prison Escape Core quest, make sure your mother is safe at all costs, if she dies you will fail the mission. Start off by attacking the tentacles. Once it slams down on the ground you can whack it with your melee weapon or with a bow up close. Repeat this process until all the tentacles are gone, and when they are the Kraken head will appear. When it does, activate slow time and take out your bow, dealing as much damage as you possible can. After a short time the tentacles will reappear, repeat all the above steps until it is dead. Difficulty Rating- 6/10 Maze- This is what I think, this is your first truly tough boss. I like fighting him because he has all the spells you can learn which makes it fair. When you are attacking him he will teleport all over Hook Coast until he is completely dead. He will die when he is outside the lighthouse after being inside it. I think that a combination of slow time, enflame and multi-strike will be effective. Don?t bother using you good spells on him while he is on Physical Shield, its pointless. He will die a dramatic death soon. Difficulty Rating- 8/10 Jack of Blades (Human Form)- The hardest boss in the game, according to me. He is probably the same difficulty as the dragon form of him but that?s what I think anyway. Start off by killing all his minions, which will make his barrier drop. Let loose on him. Once his health is down to half way down, he will retreat back to the centre of the room. He will float up into the air. Attack him with your bow until he is dead (or so are led to think anyway). Difficulty Rating- 8/10 Briar Rose- (Coming Soon) Difficulty Rating- 6/10 Nostro- Once you get to Nostro, he says he will gladly give you his soul, only if you give him a warriors defeat. He won?t go easy on you. Dang. The only way to damage Nostro and to make him ?untransparent? is to kill a few of his undead buddies and he will materialize. Take this chance and lay into him with slow time and a few flourishes. His soul will soon be yours. Difficulty Rating- 6/10 Guildmaster- The Guildmaster is really weak, no matter how many times he says he could break you. Make your way and the guards will tell you not to go any further, kill them. There will be about 25 guards protecting the Guildmaster. The Guildmaster will cast physical shield on himself and the guards and he will sometimes use heal life. Once the guards are all dead, the Guildmaster will beg for his life, quite pathetic really. Kill him and take his soul. Difficulty Rating- 6/10 Jack of Blades (Dragon Form)- They main things you must have in order to make this battle a lot easier are slow time, multi-arrow, physical shield and Skorms bow. When the fight starts, attack him with all the above spells and weapon combined until he gets to a certain amount of health. He will then fly away and do a few laps of the sky area. When he goes to land he will do a flame attack, which can take off your health in a short amount of time. Keep doing tis until he is dead. During the battle he will summon minions, so destroy them or continue killing he Dragon. Difficulty Rating- 8/10 _________________________________________________________ / 10. Demon Door Locations [TLCDDL] / /________________________________________________________/ To get into the Demon Doors you must undertake the tasks they give. Heroes Guild Demon Door- Activate your lamp and then talk to the Demon Door. Greatwood Gorge Demon Door- Obtain 50 evil points in front of the door. Use crunchy chicks. You can also be pure evil and gain entrance. Darkwood Marshes Demon Door- Defeat the Demon Doors 5 waves of enemies. Barrowfields Demon Door- Be obese when you talk to it. Tips and Hints [TLCTH] / /_________________________________________________________/ -Collect the experience orbs after defeating the whole lot of enemies because your combat multiplier will be higher (hopefully), thus giving you more experience points per orb. - Use your Ages of the (strength, skill, will) potion when your combat multiplier is at the highest. Your CM will be multiplied by 1000, so if your CM is 12 you will get 12000 points in the area of the potions expertise (strength, skill, will). - Physical Shield is a blessing; remember that. - It?s an easy thing to forget, but remember you can block most attacks and rolling away eliminates all harmful attacks. - If you keep dieing on a quest, leave it and go gain experience then level up regularly, it really helps - Love undead, they are slow and make for some good, easy experience - Collect silver keys as you go. You can obtain some handy and powerful weapons from the key chests. - Easy experience is gained at Cliffside Path, Infinite Undead spawn here. _________________________________________________________ / 14. Strength and Skill [TLCSAS] / /_________________________________________________________/ Strength and Skill are the two main attributes that determine the size and body shape of your character. Basically. The strength attribute makes you bulkier whilst the skill attribute makes you taller. If you max all the stats you will have a tall, muscular and bulky character. Strength relates to a melee-focused character while Skill is mostly associated with archery or stealth. . To max out all the skills in Strength, Skill and Will, you will need roughly 2 million experience points. Emphasize on the word roughly. _________________________________________________________ / -Physique [TLCP] / /_________________________________________________________/ Physique is the stat that applies to strength. The higher your physique level, the easier it will be to yield heavier weapons. Your physique controls a modifier to the amount of damage you inflict with melee weapons. The higher your physique, the more damage you are going to do with each hit. Level/Exp Needed 1 = 500 2 = 1200 3 = 3000 4 = 9000 5 = 24,000 6 = 45,000 7 = 86,000 TOTAL= 168,700 _________________________________________________________ / - Health [TLCH] / /_________________________________________________________/ With each level of health you buy, your maximum health increases. This means the bar across the top of the screen will be longer, so in theory you should stay alive longer, only in theory. 1 = 400 2 = 1000 3 = 2500 4 = 6000 5 = 13,500 6 = 28,000 7 = 58,000 TOTAL= 109,400 _________________________________________________________ / - Toughness [TLCT] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is a sort of natural armour. Toughness controls a modifier to the amount of damage you sustain when you are hit. The higher your toughness, the less damage you will take when you are hit. This attribute is helpful to have when participating in the Fist Fighters Gang. Level/Exp Needed 1 = 350 2 = 900 3 = 1800 4 = 4800 5 = 9000 6 = 19,000 7 = 38,000 TOTAL= 73,850 _________________________________________________________ / - Speed [TLCS] / /_________________________________________________________/ Speed has nothing to do with how fast you run. It has to do with how fast you swing your melee weapon. The quicker you swing it, the more hits you can get in and the more damage you inflict. Level/Exp Needed 1 = 350 2 = 800 3 = 1800 4 = 4600 5 = 8700 6 = 21,400 7 = 42,000 TOTAL= 79,650 _________________________________________________________ / - Accuracy [TLCA] / /_________________________________________________________/ The accuracy attribute controls the amount of damage you inflict with ranged weapons. The higher your accuracy, the more damage you are going to do with each hit. Level/Exp Needed 1 = 400 2 = 1100 3 = 2900 4 = 8000 5 = 20,500 6 = 39,000 7 = 81,000 TOTAL= 152,900 _________________________________________________________ / - Guile [TLCG] / /_________________________________________________________/ Guile affects your sneaking skill and makes you less likely to be seen. An assassin suit combined with a high level guile will make a superb thief and almost unnoticeable. Guile also affects the merchant prices, so if you are going to get infinite gold from the gem-selling trick in Oakvale, it helps to level up this stat a fair way before doing so. Level/Exp Needed 1 = 350 2 = 900 3 = 2200 4 = 5000 5 = 10,500 6 = 27,400 7 = 52,000 TOTAL= 98,350 _________________________________________________________ / 15. Will Powers [TLCWP] / /_________________________________________________________/ _________________________________________________________ / Attack Spells [TLCAS] / /_________________________________________________________/ Enflame [TLCE] This will ability is pretty cool even though it is a bit unfair. It deals a large amount of damage, over a large area and it knocks enemies to the ground. A must for will users if you are going offensive style, it also doesn?t have an alignment deduction, which is a positive. Level Experience Cost 1 3500 2 8100 3 22,000 4 58,000 Total Experience Cost- 91,600 Fireball [TLCF] A very cool ability and a must for a pure mage, though it does take quite a while to charge up. At higher levels, it has a great splash effect range and can if using the splash effect; it can be used to kill guards and villagers without obtaining the fine. Level Experience Cost 1 500 2 4500 3 17,800 4 54,000 Total Experience Cost- 76,000 Battle Charge [TLCBC] Another good will ability. The users body charges at the enemy and knocks them to the ground. It doesn?t do that much damage though. Level Experience Cost 1 750 2 5400 3 17,500 4 52,000 Total Experience Cost- 75,650 Multi-Strike [TLCMS] The perfect spell for a combined will and melee person. It makes your melee attack do multiple times based on the spells level. Very good when it?s a high level and you have a powerful weapon. Level Experience Cost 1 1200 2 4680 3 15,700 4 43,500 Total Experience Cost- 65,080 Lightning [TLCL] Because you already gain this spell automatically at the guild, it?s always good to keep it up because at higher levels it can attack more than one person at once and decapitated them with ease. Level Experience Cost 1 0 2 5760 3 18,200 4 48,000 Total Experience Cost- 71,960 Divine Fury [TLCDF] A very good spell to have, though difficult to master. It has an alignment deduction, which means if you are good it costs less, while if you are bad it costs more. Its counterpart is Infernal Wrath. Level Experience Cost 1 2 3 4 Total Experience Cost- Infernal Wrath [TLCIW] A very good spell to have, though difficult to master. It has an alignment deduction, which means if you are bad it costs less, while if you are good it costs more. Its counterpart is Divine Fury. Level Experience Cost 1 2 3 4 Total Experience Cost- _________________________________________________________ / Surround Spells [TLCSRS] / /_________________________________________________________/ Force Push [TLCFCP] Force Push is like enflame but not as good, as it doesn?t do as much damage. Using this spell, unlike enflame, will hurt allies and traders alike, thus making it an ineffective spell when used in the middle of a trader group; unless of course you?re evil. Level Experience Cost 1 600 2 3600 3 12,600 4 40,000 Total Experience Cost- 56,800 Turncoat [TLCTCO] One of my favourite spells, not for attacking but for its fun-ness. With it you can turn CERTAIN enemies into your allies for a limited amount of time. Good characters have an experience penalty on this ability where they have to spend more experience to level it up, and they can never master it. Level Experience Cost 1 3200 2 6500 3 16,000 4 45,000 Total Experience Cost- 70,700 Slow Time [TLCSWT] This spell is easily the must-have spell in Fable: The Lost Chapters. No matter if you are a sword fighter, archer or mage, this spell will be helpful no matter the circumstances. Upgrade is early in the game so you can get its benefits. Level Experience Cost 1 2000 2 6580 3 18,800 4 47, 500 Total Experience Cost- 74, 880 Drain Life [TLCDL] This skill is not very tough at low levels, but at high levels you can suck the life out of your enemies and actually kill them with it. Only evil characters can master this spell, as good characters take an experience penalty with it. Level Experience Cost 1 2800 2 6750 3 16,500 4 44,000 Total Experience Cost- 70,500 Summon [TLCSMN] Another groovy spell, one which you can have a lot of fun with. Your first summon is a wasp, and once it kills a more powerful creature, it will turn into that creature. The most powerful summons is debateable, it is either the minion summoner or white balverine, its really a personal choice; for me it?s the minion summoner. Only good characters can master this spell. Level Experience Cost 1 1800 2 5030 3 14,400 4 46,000 Total Experience Cost- 67,230 _________________________________________________________ / Physical Spells [TLCPS] / /_________________________________________________________/ Physical Shield [TLCPYC] This is probably the second most useful spell. It is useful, because when you are hit, you mana goes down instead of your health. When you have it activated, your combat multiplier cannot go down, which can make it insanely high at Cliffside Path where the undead are infinitely spawning. Only the good can master this spell. Level Experience Cost 1 900 2 5350 3 17,700 4 45,500 Total Experience Cost- 69, 450 Berserk [TLCBSK] A cool spell for melee characters and who are evil. If you have it on you deal more damage, take less damage, run faster, your melee attacks knock your enemies down and you also look very cool. It is however, a melee skill, so ranged and magic characters will find little use for it. Only evil can master this spell. Level Experience Cost 1 1600 2 6210 3 20,500 4 51,000 Total Experience Cost- 79,310 Assassin Rush [TLCAR] A spin off of Battle Charge, which deals do damage and you can cross a lot of ground by using it. When you use it and you are locked onto an enemy you will appear behind it, giving you that one or two seconds to strike at the enemy from behind. It is the best spell when against a single enemy, not a whole group. Level Experience Cost 1 400 2 2700 3 8100 4 20,000 Total Experience Cost- 31,200 Heal Life [TLCHLF] This spell is very helpful when on certain quests, especially the Trader Escort quest. It heals yourself and the allies around you. At higher levels the amount healed is greater, but at a higher cost of mana. It is better to get this spell at the early stages of the game and upgrade it ASAP. Only the good can master this spell. Level Experience Cost 1 2300 2 5850 3 15,900 4 49,000 Total Experience Cost- 73,050 Ghost Sword [TLCGS] A very good support spell to have, along with summon and turncoat. Those spells and this one, along with a few mercenaries and you could create your own small army. It isn?t a very good spell attack-wise; the swords don?t do enough damage. At higher levels, the more swords you get. Level Experience Cost 1 2500 2 6300 3 17,200 4 51,500 Total Experience Cost- 77,500 Multi-Arrow [TLCMA] The only real spell, which a ranged attacker can use, it slits up the arrow you fire. Each arrow deals less damage than a normal single arrow, but at the mastered level the total damage is far greater than normal damage. The biggest downfall to this skill is the arrows split into a wide arc from your character, making it difficult to hit enemies in close quarters (like in caves) or if the enemy is too close, the arrows will just not hit them. Level Experience Cost 1 1000 2 5140 3 19,500 4 47,000 Total Experience Cost- 72,640 _________________________________________________________ / Magic Power [TLCMP] / /_________________________________________________________/ This is exactly the same as the health stat in the strength area. It increases the length of the mana bar at the top of the screen. Will Masters Elixirs do the same thing but not as much as this stat. _________________________________________________________ / 16. Other Bits of Fable: TLC [TLCOBF] / /_________________________________________________________/ Game Essentials [TLCGE] These statistics are the basic basis of your character. Some go up and down while others will just go up. Health Bar- Your health bar is at the very top of the screen and is represented as the red bar. It shows how much health your character has (duh). When it reaches empty, you die and haven to restart from a saved point. If you have a resurrection vial and your health reaches zero, you don?t die but you get another chance. You can carry up to 9 resurrection vials. This bar can be increased by increasing the health stat at the experience stand. It can also be increased by drinking Elixirs of Life. Give the bar a quick boost by drinking a health potion. This will make the red bar longer (YAY). Will Meter- Your will meter is shown in blue underneath the heath bar. It shows how much will power (or mana) you have to use for spells. When it is empty you can cast anymore spells. This bar, unlike the health bar, will regenerate in time. The bar can be made longer by increasing the will stat called will power. You will can be boosted by drinking a will potion. This will refill part of the blueness. Armour Rating- The combined armour rating of your individual clothes pieces are shown here. The higher the number obviously means you are protected more and will absorb more damage. Gold- Gold is really the essence of any RPG and doesn?t really need an explanation. Well if you wanted one here it is. You can buy things with gold. Renown- Renown is the essence of any hero and represents how famous and popular you are. Renown is gained by finishing quests, advancing plots, killing enemies and showing off trophies. It never goes down, only up. Alignment- Alignment is how good or evil you are, the silver is goodness and the red is evilness. Killing enemies and doing good things make you move along the good bar while killing innocents and being mean moves you closer towards the evil side. It affects how people react to you, whether it be cheering you on, or cowering in fear. Scariness- How scary you look. It changes depending on your clothes, hair style and tattoos. Attractiveness- How good you look. It changes depending on your clothes, hair style and tattoos. Age- After leaving the guild, you will age roughly age .7 years each time you use the experience stand in the guild. You get to 65 and will not go older. You cannot die of old age. See temples of ways to decrease your age. Weight- This really does nothing as you are mostly slim, unless you eat lots and wish to get into the Barrowfields Demon Door. It has no effect on gameplay. Titles- Lookout Point Title Vendor Chicken Chaser Arseface Piemaster Druid Hood Sabre Ranger Assassin Runemaster Liberator Maleficus Avatar Arena Entrance Title Vendor Arrowdodger Pilgrim Reaper Deathbringer Gladiator Mercenaries [TLCMNS] There are 4 mercenaries in the game. If you hire them, they will fight by your side. The mercenaries are found at Oakvale, the Temple of Avo, Bowerstone South and at Twinblades Camp. They teleport with you and I mainly use them as a distraction to enemies, killing people where you cant get your weapons out (Bowerstone) or sacrificing them at the Chapel of Skorm.
