Introduction

First of all, thanks for reading my FAQ.

A thing you should know before stepping into the world of Totori's is that the game is tedious and time sensitive. It would be a good idea to read through any Character Endings requirements ahead of time or you will find yourself playing through the game multiple times.

With 10 different endings, each with its own requirements, you will need to make multiple saves through the game to make sure you don't make any mistakes. I will explain this more in the ending section of this guide. I will try and guide you through this overwhelming information in the least amount of playthroughs possible, but mistakes are possible and you do not have to follow my advice.

If you want me to add something or notice a mistake, please email me at the above address with the correct information.

Characters

Each character has their own skills that they can use in battle. Some skills are used in battle while some are passive. Each character also has a Special Move as well (excluding Totori).

Attack Skills & Passive Skills

  • The attack/passive skills that you get through leveling.

Special Attack

  • Unknown yet how these trigger in battle.

Totooria Helmold

Birthday 3/17 Attack Skills Duplicate Duplicates item with less effect.
Height 4'9 (146 cm) Passive Skills Evacuation Less frequently targeted by foes.
Will Power Resist KO from time to time.

The protagonist of this story. She had always been timid and introverted, but after learning alchemy, she has begun to have more confidence in herself. She lives in a small fishing village at the edge of Arland with her father and sister. Her mother is a famous adventurer, but she had gone missing several years ago. She wants to become an adventurer one day to travel and find her mother.

Cecilia Helmold

Height 5'2 (156 cm)

Totori's elder sister. She's capable and reliable, possibly because she has taken a motherly role with Totori after their real mother had gone missing. When she and Totori fight or argue, she tends to act like a child and will sulk for days on end.

Gino Knab

Height 5'2 (155 cm) Attack Skills My Super Special Attack a single target.
My Critical 100% critical hit on single target.
Passive Skills Hero Syndrome Increases stats against bosses.
Good Fortune Increased item drop rate.
Special Skill Einzelkampfer *Super Attack* Attack one foe.

Totori's childhood friend. He's innocent, optimistic, and perpetually cheerful. His dream is to become a great adventurer and continues to train for it. He doesn't seem to know or understand why he wants to become an adventurer.

Melvia Siebel

Height 5'7 (168 cm) Attack Skills Axe Strike Attack one foe. May lower DEF.
Whirlwind Attacks a wide range of targets.
Passive Skills Constitution Reduces all forms of damage.
Freak Strength Increase critical rate.
Special Skill Pugilist Maiden *Super Attack* Attack one foe.

An adventurer from Totori's village and also Ceci's best friend. She hates work and when things get serious, she's often seen interjecting with facetious commentary. She was born with freakish strength, making her a powerful adventurer when she puts her mind to it.

Mimi Houllier van Schwarzlang

Height 5'1 (152 cm) Attack Skills Blitz Stoss Target a line of enemies.
Himmel Waltz Attack one foe.
Passive Skills Quick Reflex Increase evasion.
????
Special Skill Einzelkampfer *Super Attack* Attack one foe.

A member of an aristocratic family of Arland. Unable to accept others calling the aristocracy a relic of the past, she becomes an adventurer to make her name known throughout the land. She is very hardworking and hates any act of cheating.

Marc McBrine

Height 5'9 (172 cm) Attack Skills Control AA Attack one target.
Control CC Causes sleep and may lower attack.
Passive Skills Analyze Increase evasion.
Accuracy Increases hit rate.
Special Skill Roar! McVellion *Super Attack* Attacks one foe.

A young man who loves machines of all kinds. He may not look it, but he has a very amicable and sociable personality. His dream is to propagate the use of machines throughout the nation and have everyone use them as a part of lives.

Rorolina Frixell

Height 5'1 (153 cm) Attack Skills Pie Making Synthesize pie for one ally.
Angel Fullheart Attacks all foes.
Passive Skills Bomb Throw Throw bombs as a regular attack.
Airhead Resistance to status ailments.
Under Pressure Stats increase when HP is low.
Special Skill Mini Punishment

Totori's alchemy teacher and protagonist of the previous game. She really hasn't changed much, but years of traveling and a variety of experiences have made her a stronger person. She completely spoils Totori, who is her very first student. Since the end of the last game she has traveled all around Arland to teach alchemy.

Sterkenberg Cranach

Height 6'2 (185 cm) Attack Skills Sword Blitz Lightning damage to all targets.
Judgement Attack one target.
Passive Skills Lifelong Hardship Buffs yield higher effects.
Inner Flame Stats up against strong foes.
Special Skill Lichschneiden *Super Attack* Attack one foe.

Years of worry and hard work had put him in an even worse mood, making his already scary face more menacing. However, his personality hasn't changed at all. Because Arland became a republic, he is no longer a knight.

Chim

Height 2' (60 cm)

A tiny Hom, also known as Chim. These are homunculi Rorona made to assist Totori, unlike the original Hom, they can't talk. Instead, they have a myriad of emotions and expressions they share. Also, they work for pie. No pie, no work.

Source: All character descriptions are from the games manual.

Battle

This game is a standard turn-based one, with no real learning curve for previous JRPG players.

Every character has the below options:

  • Fight
  • Skill
  • Defend
  • Escape

Totori and Rorona on the other hand can use items. They can use anything in your bag that you have made or found previously.

Like every other RPG, and unlike Atelier Rorona, you use MP for skills and your HP is your life. The only new addition is LP. This is for travelling and when you characters reach zero they get negative stats like ATK and DEF down in battle.

Synthesis

Unlike the more well known games by Gust, Mana Khemia and Atelier Iris, where synthesis was less of a focus, this game revolves around alchemy synthesis as a basis to get items. The game gives you a decent tutorial for what synthesis is so I will skip to the details.

MP to Synth

Like Skills in battle, crafting takes a certain amount of MP per synth. When Totori drops below 1, the success rate greatly decreases. You can restore her MP with items or by sleeping on the couch in her workshop. As sleeping takes up valuable time, I suggest using items.

Synthesis Takes Time

Unlike Atelier Iris, where time didn't exist, Totori is all about time management. Every synthesis takes time to craft and can easily make you miss your deadlines, SO BE CAREFUL.

Synthesis Level

Every synthesis has a level to it, which determines Totori's success rate. The higher the level, the more likely you are to fail. You can fix this by crafting often, as every synthesis increases her Alchemy Level (which is separate from her Adventuring Level). When synthing, Totori will give you an idea of the success rate by her dialog when you select a synth.

Item Traits and Effects

Every item you use to make your synthesis has traits and effects. Also any item you make has it's own traits and effects. Previously, the traits of the ingredients you used determined the traits of your synthesis, but now you get to choose. Everytime you synth, your item has a cost level. The higher the cost the more points you have to use on your traits. The higher quality the items the more the cost level. Also, using previously synthed items in your synth will boost it a great deal.

For example, Wound Healing from a Mandra Root costs 0, but Attack +3 costs you 3. You would need a item that gives you 3 cost level in order to choose to add Attack +3 to your final item.

Item effects work differently though. Certain items have the ability to get traits depending on the quality of the items you use to make them. An Arland Crystal, for example, has 5 different effect possibilities (Crimson, Sapphire, Topaz, Emerald, and Diamond). You will know what trait you are getting because the item slot that determines it, a [Jewel] in this case, will have the word Effect under the picture of the ingredient slot. When you go in to choose the item it will also say effect in the bottom right, indicating the outcome if you use that ingredient.

Gathering

When you visit any area on the world map, you will see bubbles floating around. These points can be harvested for items you will use during synthesis.

Normal Bubbles

  • Most bubbles will be light blue in appearance. These are generic points.

Special Bubbles

  • Some bubbles will actually have a yellow center. These are higher quality items.

Gathering Time

  • Like everything else in Atelier Totori, gathering on a field takes time. Without any bonus, from Speed Gloves, gathering will take half a day.

Basket & Container

The basket, which I call your bag, and the container are your inventory space.

Most items will automatically be in your container. The container has all the room you will need and you won't need more space until late game. Whenever you return to the ateliers you will be asked if you want to store the items in your container. You will almost always say yes, unless it is something like healing items you want to use on the field.

Your bag is where your items will temporary be stored in between your trips to the atelier.

Front Quests

Front Quests are something that has been carried over from Atelier Rorona. They are random quests that are offered and can be fulfilled for money. In fact, this is you main source of money until later when you get the Spring Cup trick.

Front Quests can be accepted from Alanya at Gerhard's Bar or Arland at the Adventurer Guild.

Each quest has many aspects to take into consideration:

Units

  • The units are the amount you will need to turn in. For items, you will need that many crafted or harvested. For hunt quests, this is the number of enemies you will need to defeat.

Reward

  • This is the money reward you will receive.

Deadline

  • Each quest has a deadline that it must be completed by. Although there is no negative to failure, it is better to only accept a quest when you know you will be able to complete it.

Bonus Reward

  • All quests also have a bonus reward of an item rated at S, A, A, B and C. For crafting and harvested items, this is the quality/rank of the item. For hunts, the rating is based on how quickly you turn the hunt in and how many monsters you kill. So you can take longer but kill a lot more than required and still get the S rank item.

Friend Requests

Friend Requests will be possible once you officially meet Sterk. Like, Atelier Rorona, he is the one that teaches you how they work.

The basic are that every once in a while a character might come visit you at the atelier and ask for an item. Giving them that the item will give you friendship points.

Your friends will never ask for something you don't already have made in your container. I state in my walkthrough that there is almost NEVER a reason to give someone an item they ask for. The exception to this is Sterk and Rorona.

DO NOT MAX OUT ANYONE'S FRIENDSHIP

In general you don't need/want anyone's friendship over 60, which you get from traveling.

License

The major point of the game is to become an adventurer. To do this you will have to go to Arland and receive your license. Once you have it you will need to earn points by completing certain requirements.

Battle

  • Complete a certain kill count or kill a certain enemy, such as a boss.

Exploration

  • Exploring certain locations on the map, going to new locations, gathering all harvest points at certain locations, and finding landmarks on certain maps.

Quest

  • Completing certain turn in quests at Gerhard or Filly including different TYPES of quests, from hunts to gathering, and even certain rankings on the quests you accept.

Library

  • Earned for completing Alchemy and Adventure levels, synthing all recipes per book, and completing sections of your library (including Characters, Equipment, Enemies, Items, etc.)

Ending Requirements

This game is ALL about the endings. Because of this, I have put the requirements for each ending all the way up here. Sure you can play through and forget all about this, but your success of getting any character endings is rare.

There are two factors that influence your ending:

Adventurer's Rank

  • Earned through completing tasks

Story Events

  • Certain events must be seen

There are three basic endings, not counting character endings.

Here is the breakdown:

True Ending

Satisfy Normal Ending conditions
Satisfy all 6 Character Endings conditions
Trigger Chim Ending conditions
Trigger Rich/Store Ending conditions

Normal Ending

Become an adventure
Reach Diamond Rank before 4/6/1
Find out what happened to Totori's mother

Bad Ending

After the starting events, sleep til 1/5/15
Fail to reach Diamond Rank by 4/6/1
Fail to find out what happened to Totori's mom

When it comes to endings, there is a priority as follows:

Bad Ending
True Ending
Character Endings (only Sterk and Gino's friendship matters here)
Chim Ending
Rich/Store Ending
Normal Ending

For details on each ending, see below in the Character Endings and Other Endings sections. There I will detail what you need to do.

Character Endings

Every character requires you complete the Normal Ending events and see certain scenes to trigger their flag.

Unlike Atelier Rorona where you needed to trigger flags asap, you don't want to in Totori. After a certain point you will be at a POINT OF NO RETURN. This means you will trigger their flag if you take that action. This is bad because the Rich/Store Ending requires that you have NOT triggered any flags. For this reason you want to get all the way up to the last scene, but not see it until you are going for the character's ending or True Ending.

Every character's flag requires you to trigger certain events throughout the game. You should know that you will at least 60+ friendship for a character to get their ending. This means you will need to have them in your party and go adventuring with them for at least some time.

For the easiest way to get all endings, please follow my walkthrough. It will tell you everything you need to know in order to get every ending as part of one playthrough.

Also note that the game has issues trigger two events at once. This means if you get two events at once, only one will happen. For example, if Mimi hits level 50 and you beat Marc's boss, you will only get one of the scenes and not be able to get True Ending.

Walkthrough

My goal is to guide you through the game with limited spoilers. I will mention when and where events occur, but give you only enough info to know you are seeing the correct event.

BE AWARE THAT ALL DATES ARE APPROXIMATE UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE

This guide is designed to get you to see as MANY of the events as possible in the quickest time. They are not required to be gotten in this order, but if you want 100% of the background CG's and events, use it as a guideline for what you should be doing.

HOW TO READ THIS GUIDE

Firstly, read an entire date before doing anything, as not everything is listed in order. I may say leave town before I state optional things you SHOULD see in town.

Everything listed under a date with not prefix of the below SHOULD be done.

Optional Events

Events that are not mandatory to get the platinum, but they are events that I assume you are going to see. TRY and make sure to see them. If you aren't getting them, don't freak out.

Other Events

Events that may happen if you choose to deviate from the guide and strive to see them. I either did not see them at that time, or I saw them at that time in a DIFFERENT PLAYTHROUGH. This means the conditions are unknown exactly and you may need to fuss about to find out how to see the event. These should NOT be done if you plan to follow the guide date for date.

Light-Blue Areas

Tips, Notes, and Advice.

ALWAYS READ THESE.

Before Your License

This nation has a job called "adventurers. It all happened before Arland became a republic. People wanted to explore, adventure, or develop the frontier. The knights of Arland were weak, so the citizens joined them and helped out. It happened gradually, but that system was later institutionalized. Adventuring is now a real job. My mother was one of those adventurers. I hear she's actually famous, too, but we haven't heard from her in years. My father and sister both think she's already... but I don't think so.

Year 1, 3/1

Totooria Helmold will remind you of Rorolina Frixell and give you your first trophy, "A Day in the Life" and meet Cecilia Helmold.

Enter the house to the right of your starting position to meet our lovable friend Pamela Ibis. If you have played previous Atelier games, her running into a wall makes perfect sense, or rather doesn't.

Head left of where you met Gino Knab to the bar to meet Gerhard Konev.

Head left of Gino for a scene with Peter Rietz.

Leave town and listen to the World Map tutorial.

NEW AREA NOTICE
Nuse Grove
Western Plains

If you ignore the rest and sleep through the next few months you will get the Bad Ending. This is the easiest way.

Year 1, 3/3

As soon as you enter you'll get the Battle tutorial.

Afterwards, Totori will explain more about adventurers and her past.

Continue left toward the bubbles to learn about Gathering.

After gathering, head back to town.

I suggest you clean out the map so you won't need Nuse for a little while.

Year 1, 3/4

Back home, learn about the Basket & Container and run into Totori's dad, Guid Helmold.

You can fulfill Front Quests from the items in your container. This means you can usually keep everything in your container. The only exception is items that your friends ask you to make for them. These need to be in your bag.

Year 1, 3/5

Synthesize a Healing Salve.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Starter Recipes Supplement
Craft
Healing Salve

If you don't know anything about synthesis yet, please read the Synthesis section before doing any complex crafting.

By default all synthesized items go into your container. You will need to grab the Healing Salve out of the container to use it. This is a big deal when you start making items that help you, but NEED TO BE IN YOUR BAG.

Year 1, 3/6

Go ahead and view the tutorial to learn about your atelier.

Head to Gerhard's Bar and you'll be introduced to Front Quests.

I suggest buying the Magic Grass from Pamela's Shop and using 1 day to make the 5 Supplements.

Always make the maximum items you can in 1 day. This will save you time as you will always need more items later and instead of spending 5 days to make 5 Supplements you can spend 1.

You can get Water from Totori's well for the Supplements.

Don't spend too much time doing quests at the moment since you don't have your license. Take the easy stuff and leave the hard stuff.

I won't always tell you when to accept quests, only suggested breaks in the story for time. You should always check to see if there are easy items to turn in or monsters in the location you are planning to go gathering at soon.

Head out to gather more items from Nuse Grove.

Year 1, 3/9

Harvest points and fight, but make sure you leave the area BEFORE the end of the 11th and head back to town.

Unlike Atelier Rorona, everything you do on a field takes up time. This means gathering and fighting time should be considered when you are close to any timed events.

There are 10 small sections to the timer in the upper left of the screen. This is your time left in the day.

It takes 5 (or half a day) to gather a spot, but you can look and not gather and lose no time.
It takes 2 to fight a battle.
It takes 1 if you run from a battle.

When you leave the fields the day will automatically change no matter how much time is left on the red bar. This means you want to leave a field just before the indicator is empty so you use up the full day versus leaving when it's nearly full.

Guard when given the option. This isn't because Totori is a weakling. The simple fact is that guarding equals half damage. It is better for someone to take half damage than someone (in this case Totori) take full damage. This will help you with managing damage. Especially when you run into monsters that use aoes.

Year 1, 3/14

At home an event will occur and a day will pass.

Year 1, 3/15

Head back to Nuse Grove again. We will go to Western Plains soon, don't worry.

Year 1, 3/17

Get the trophy "Monstorous Power" and meet Melvia Siebel.

Harvest and fight until just before the end of 19th and head to town.

Year 1, 3/22

At home an event will occur and a day will pass.

Year 1, 3/23

Head out to adventure for a scene with Mel and Gino and a new area.

Now is a good time to take out the Blue Punis at Western Plains. Avoid Roaring Craggy Path for now, as you're too low lvl. You can go there after you gain a lvl or two.

NEW AREA NOTICE
Roaring Craggy Path

Year 1, 3+

Spend time gathering, fighting and finishing quests for the rest of the time until the game forces you forward at the next date.

Here are some things you SHOULD do:

Synthesize Crafts and Supplements for Front Quests.

Do this only a couple times between your trips to Roaring Craggy Path. You will need the Alchemy Levels.

Synthesize at least 2 more Healing Salves and make sure to grab the one you made as part of the tutorial and visit Roaring Craggy Path at least 7 times (taking a break halfway through to empty your bag and get the healing from walking) or until Gino is level 10.

BATTLE TIPS

  • Guard with Gino unless an Audra is almost dead.
  • Use Mel to black any attacks on Totori.
  • Use Melvia's Skills if she can kill a bird off before it attacks.
  • Don't use the Healing Salves in battle unless you NEED to.

I'm gonna warn you now... Gino will get pissed if Totori gets too high level without him (about 10+ levels). He will ditch the party and go get levels on his own. This can easily mess up your all trophies in one playthrough. Either get this event at the low levels, or do NOT invite Gino to your party other than for his flag events.

IF YOU FOLLOW THIS GUIDE YOU WILL NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THIS.

If you have time left over once Gino hits 10, use it to gain more crafting levels.

OTHER EVENTS

  • There is a scene with Mel saving you from a Griffon as you walk to a location on a certain day. I forget the exact day and it is not a required event so I never wrote it down.

Year 1, 5/14

The day will automatically pass and you will be forced home.

Year 1, 5/15

View the scene with Mel, Gino and Totori. At home Ceci will help you out (poor dad... no one appreciates you).

Year 1, 5/16

Head to town to kick Peter's.... carriage.

Year 1, 5/23

Ewww.

Year 1, 5/30

Oh noes. Does Peter get on your nerves too? Enjoy a familiar face from Atelier Rorona and receive the trophy "Like the Flash".

Year 1, 6/1

Head to the right for a scene in Beefy Weapon Shop. If you got the scene to make Hagel a wig in Atelier Rorona, this scene will make you laugh even more.

On a side note, you can buy Port Outfits from Hagel for 400c and sell them back for over 500.

Continue right to visit Rorona's Workshop. Awww.... bad Astrid.

Right again will land you at Tiffani's R & T Sundries.

Head west of where you originally came in and into Sunrise Cafe. Iksel sure grew up nice didn't he?

Heading left again will take you to the castle where you meet a very feisty and familiar friend as well as a new one. The trophy "Shouting Match" will trigger as well. View the Adventurer Tutorial and you're set for some fun. Grats on your new License. Please view the License Points section to see how points are distributed.

Back to Rorona's workshop and spend the night.

Year 1, 6/2

After a scene, you'll be on the way home.

Year 1, 6/16

A scene at home will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Year 1 w/ License

Year 1, 6/17

Learn about recruiting friends and the shortcuts for traveling.

PLEASE use the start button to get around. It will save you TONS of agony.

Head to town for a scene with Peter and recruit Gino.

Inside Pamela's Shop is another scene and some recipe books.

At Gerhard's Bar Ceci will shock you with her feminine charm.

Accept some new quests, such as Green and Blue Puni, Squirrel, and/or Coastal Penguin. Do NOT accept Audra.

Be sure to grab Mel before leaving.

Ceci has also opened up a shop at Gerhard's Bar.

I suggest you buy Cooking Basics and Home Remedies. Also your License will give you points for accepting every TYPE of killing quest. This means it's a good idea to pick up one of the punis, audra, squirrel, penguin, etc. The same thing goes for synthesis items such as [Bomb], [Ingot], etc.

Heading out, a scene will occur. I suggest you head to Hunter's Forest.

Year 1, 6/23

Hopefully you grabbed the Green Puni quest from Gerhard. Fight and harvest until just before the end of the 24th. Now leave and head back to Alanya.

We will not be stopping in Nuse Grove for Squirrel, but you can get them from Green Puni battles or as random encounters on the map.

If you fail to get what you need before the deadline, there is no negative.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You should get a couple of extra scenes with Mel and/or Gino during the next few traveling days. They aren't important, but they are hard to miss, unless you do not put them in your party.

Year 1, 7/1

If you went adventurering, your father will reward you when you get home with Rorona's Recipes.

Mimi Flag

This can occur as early as 7/1, but can be got later, so if you are out adventurering don't worry. You can get this by leaving the atelier and coming back in.

Accept a crafting quest from Gerhard and/or burn 3 days.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you gain a alchemy level 5 you will get a scene with Ceci on how you met Rorona. This can also happen later.
  • A scene with Ceci about Totori's outfit will occur.

You can get this by leaving the atelier and coming back in. This will set up a rivalry between Ceci and Rorona that will evolve into something funny later.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Rorona's Recipes Bomb

Year 1, 7/4

Mimi Flag

  • A scene at the Town Square with Mimi will occur.

Now is a good time to go adventuring with Mimi. Replace Mel, but be careful since Mimi isn't as strong.

If you got Gino to level 10 you can replace him instead.

Pick up Coastal Penguin and Blue Puni if you haven't already and head out with Mimi, Gino and Totori. I went to the Abandoned Mine.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • When you leave town there will be a scene between Gino and Mimi or Mel and Mimi. This is true for all characters. Meaning if you have two people with you who have never adventured together, there will always be a short scene between them.

OTHER EVENTS

  • If you don't take Mimi out she will eventually come to the atelier and yell at Totori.
  • If you don't go adventuring for about a month, Gino will come complain to you.

Year 1, 7/7

Harvest 3 points and then leave for Dry Sea.

Year 1, 7/11

Depending on the hunt quests you got, you can go to Dry Sea 3 times or do it twice and hit up Western Plains on the way home (if you need more Blue Punis than you have encountered with Coastal Penguins).

Be sure to only spend time needed for kills/gathering at this point and leave with as much of a day used as possible. Remember that gathering takes half a day and battles take 2 of the bars.

If you are doing Dry Sea 3 times, leave for Alanya before the end of the 19th.

If you are leaving Western Plains, head back before the end of the 22nd.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you brought Mel to adventure with you, you will get a scene with her underestimating her strength. This will put a ton of Eiche with Complex S in your inventory. Feel free to drop these to make room for other items.

Year 1, 7/25

Turn in any quests you completed to Gerhard and make sure your basket is empty.

Time to head out for a long trip. Don't accept any quests because they will most likely expire before you come back. There is no negative effect from this, but it's better to not start what you can't finish.

Head out to Natural Garden.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you took Gino with you, you will get a scene with Gino, Totori and Ceci when you arrive in town.
  • If you took Melvia out and saw the scene with the Eiche, there will be a similar scene at home.

By now Gino should be above level 10. This is all you need for his next flag in year 2, so I suggest you put Mel back in the party.

If you didn't get the above scene, I will mention a time later that you can use to get it.

Also, if you had Mel in your party previously, don't switch her out for Gino to get this scene. It will mess up a scene with Mimi.

Year 1, 7/28

Harvest 5 locations (try and get the ones with Purple Grapes), if possible, and then leave for Golden Plains.

Firstly, you will want to make sure you keep at least 4 Purple Grapes on you for something that you need to make in year 2. I know that's a long ways off, but I won't be having you come back to this area.

If you are behind in my guide, harvest 3 points and move on.

If you are up to date on my guide, but there aren't 3-4 points, harvest 3 and leave. Re-enter and harvest a 4th point before going to Golden Plains.

Year 1, 8/7

Be sure to harvest all points in Golden Plains for the License Points. You will know you got them all when it pops up on screen.

You can get Chariot Milk from the goat.

Head for Buried Ruins next.

Year 1, 8/19

Marc Flag

Make sure you leave before the end of the 19th.

You can check what a harvesting point has and then NOT harvest it and no time will pass. Do this to find a harvesting point with a Bounce Stone.

Make sure you keep at least ONE Bounce Stone for something later. You do NOT want to walk all the way back here.

Head back to Alanya.

Year 1, 9/5

Mimi Flag

  • If you followed my advice and cleared the above areas with Mimi in party, you should get a scene when you return involving dinner. This requires her friendship be 10+. Which it should easily be.

I headed to Abandoned Mine again (you'll need the Snow Stone for weapons later). If you don't want to you can adventure somewhere else until 9/20 (this is when you need to be back, take that into account for traveling time). We need the friendship though, so make sure you adventure.

You should swap out Mel or Gino for the other.

Grab more Coastal Penguins if Gerhard has them and you plan to follow the guide.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Mel won't be at the bar and you can see a scene between Ceci and her.

Year 1, 9/8

Harvest 3 points and head to Dry Sea.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you swapped out Mel for Gino, because you had her previously, you will get a scene about yellow fruit.

Year 1, 9/12

Harvest and leave before the end of the 14th.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you still have Gino, you will get a scene where he peels food for her.

Year 1, 9/20

Mimi Flag

  • Mimi's friendship should be 15+ by now for the next scene at the atelier. She talks about your friendship with Ceci.

Sooner is better than later when seeing Mimi's scenes, since there is a 15 day wait period between her scenes. You may need to leave and re-enter the atelier.

You now have until the 13th to do whatever you need to.

If you are behind in my guide, head to Arland as soon as the carriage is fixed.

Here are some things you should make sure to do (in order):

If you missed any scenes for Gino, save and try and get these by leaving to a nearby area and then coming back. Do NOT replace Mimi (unless her events are blocking Gino's when you arrive in town). If you missed any events with Mel, don't worry, we will get these when we take her to Arland.

If you lose Gino while fighting, don't worry about it. He will come back later. The only problem is you won't get the scene with him when you enter town. This can be gotten at any point later in the game.

It's a good idea to do a Front Quests you haven't done yet for License Points... such as Audra or Squirrels.

Spend time getting crafting License Points rewards now. Things such as crafting all items from a book or simply alchemy level. A big one is getting Glass Artisan by turning in quests to Gerhard.

This should also increase your Alchemy Level, which is important.

By the end of the month you should be ready for your next rank up. If so, you will get a scene with Peter at the atelier telling you the carriage is ready. I suggest you don't rush to get your rank up asap since points can carry into the next. Finish the stuff in Alanya.

Year 1, 10/13

With Mimi and Mel in your party, head for Arland via Peter.

Year 1, 10/27

Get Iron Rank at the Adventurer Guild with Cordelia.

After getting access to the workshop, return to Cordelia. You will meet Filly, Etsy's sister. You can now do Front Quests in Arland.

Filly will almost NEVER ask for something you have in your bag or container. This means that items that are hard to make are worth keeping a copy of so she never asks for them. On the other hand, you never want to hold easy to make items. Later when you have wholesale you will want to make sure you NEVER have wholesale items in your container. If you need them for synthesis you can buy them. Filly will also ask for them more. This is good.

There is a trophy for Tiffani that is based on how many requests you fulfil for Filly. Since this event all depends on the randomness of your requests, I am gonna point out an event you need to look for in the future.

READ NOW

There are some events where Filly complains about her job at the Adventuerer Guild. Eventually she will be at R & T Sundries and Tiffani will suggest she go relax at the Sunrise Cafe. When you see this event, make sure you go to the Sunrise Cafe 2 days later. This will net you a scene with a drunken Tiffani.

Be sure to visit Sunrise Cafe, Beefy Weapon Shop and R & T Sundries.

You should buy the History of Drying recipe book at R & T Sundries.

Check out quests at Fillys. If she is offering Green Puni and Blue Puni, accept them and head to Uni Grove.

Be careful, as the enemies around Arland are very strong. You should have some Healing Salves. If not, don't worry.

Year 1, 11/6

Next I headed to Old Path

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head to Rorona's atelier and you should get a scene with Cordelia about her height, this is an long-standing joke for Rorona players.

Year 1, 11/9

I suggest you take a moment to craft some items for weapons. Doing this will make your characters survivability much better. Pay attention to the traits, these are what will help your characters the most.

SAVE BEFORE CRAFTING ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE

The trick to crafting good weapons and armor is to craft multiples at once so you can stick more traits to it.

ARMOR

You should be able to make Muffcot at the moment, so do the following:

You want to make a Zettel with traits we want to put into the Muffcot. Synth 2 Zettel and try and get HP, MP, LP, or Defense + traits in it. Make sure you are paying attention to how much Cost Level you have versus what you want to allocate them to since you will not have much to work with on the Zettel. I was able to get HP, MP, and LP.

If you don't have enough points, leave out the Defense, since you can get this when you actually make the Muffcot.

If you want Defense +5, don't put a Defense +3 on the Zettel. Note that doing this will mean your next set of gear probably won't get +5 and only +3.

You can sort by Level so the items with the highest Cost Level are at the bottom and then look for the traits.

Now save and then make 3 Muffcot using the 2 Zettel you already made and an extra one you probably own (if you don't just make 2 Muffcot).

You will have more points to allocate, so try and get another trait in the [Thread] slot.

The Fluffy Fur from R & T Sundries has Defense +5 on it.

Use Honey to get more points. Buy this at Sunrise Cafe.

Go for the higher quality items if you can or Quality + traits. If you fail, reload. Save when you succeed.

If you find you are failing too much, craft any other items you want to raise your Alchemy Level.

Things you SHOULD make and save for later:

Things that are easily in range:

Things you CAN make to let them increase in quality over time:

Check Filly and see if she has any Front Quests.

WEAPON

For weapons we want to make 2 Dry Metal and I suggest Attack +3, Lightning Power (Quake Stone), Ice Power (Snow Stone), Convert Damage S (which will give you small bits of HP when you attack) or something else useful.

If Totori says "Nope. Can't do it." you will need to get more Alchemy Levels. What you want is for Totori to say "I'm not sure about this."

Save when you are ready to try and make the weapons since your success rate is pretty low. You WILL fail a lot, but it is possible to make them.

When you make the [Ingot] and [Cloth], head to Beefy Weapon Shop to turn them into items.

This is what we want:

  • ?Metal Staff?
  • ?Elegant Spear?
  • ?Normal Clothes?
  • ?Activewear?

If you finish before the following occurs, you can craft until the next date to up your Alchemy Level.

If you are behind in my guide, jump ahead to the next date and you can get these next events later.

Mimi Flag

  • Mimi will drop by the workshop and will mention coming back to Arland for good. You can now only recruit her in Arland.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You can also get a scene with Mimi about taking a tour of Arland.

Year 1, 12/1

Grab Audra or Scissor Bug if they are available and head to Calamitous Mountain.

Year 1, 12/9

Marc Flag

  • Meet Marc automatically.

Be sure to head across the bridge for some License Points. Leave before the end of the 10th.

The chest is a trap.

Year 1, 12/19

Marc Flag

  • Return to Arland and talk to Coredlia.

Burn a week in Arland crafting (check Filly for quests or just make a bunch of Supplement and any items I listed earlier that you didn't make.

Items I made:

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Mimi may drop by to learn about alchemy if you level up enough.
  • You may also get a scene with Filly about who she is.

Year 2, 12/26

Marc Flag

  • Marc should come to the atelier. You can now add him to your party.

Hire Marc and kick Mel. He's right next to the atelier.

Head to Alanya now via Peter in Artisan's Way.

Year 2

Year 2, 1/10

Sterk Flag

Sterk gives you access to Friend Requests. I don't suggest doing any of these, unless you are missing flags that I name because their friendship is too low.

You only need 60 friendship for all flags, which you can get by adventuring. Going over 60 can ruin your character endings.

The exception to this is making items for Sterk and Rorona since you get them fairly late in the game.

THAT BEING SAID...

You will need to do at least 2 Friend Requests for Sterk's flag. The sooner the better. Friend's will ONLY ask for items you have also.

Kick Marc from your party and get Gino. We mostly just wanted him to get friendship on the trip from Arland to Alanya.

Head to a nearby area that is 2 days away, Nuse Grove or Western Plains.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head home for a scene with Ceci.
  • Head to Pamela's Shop for a scene about Arland, Astrid and the ocean.

Now is a good time to buy Seasonal Alchemy 1 and Me and My Bomb.

Year 2, 1/12

Gino Flag

  • If he has 40+ friendship you should get a scene about a supermove.

If Gino did not leave your party before, he will now. I am going to write the next bits as if he did, just in case.

Leave for Alanya before the end of the 12th.

Year 2, 1/15

Mimi Flag

  • You should have 20+ friendship with Mimi, so enjoy the scene about cooking.

Spend time crafting a few of your new recipes. Here's what I made:

Make whatever you want. Be sure to check if Gerhard wants anything.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you're lucky, Marc should have gotten enough friendship to get a scene between him and Peter. This will make your trips to Arland much faster, just bring him a Bounce Stone and Pure Oil.

You will need to get this out of your container.

Year 2, 1/24

Grab Mel and head to Nuse Grove or Western Plains and make sure to leave before the end of the 27th.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • When you leave town, Peter and Mel may discuss Ceci.

Year 2, 1/30

Mimi Flag

  • If you're 25+ friendship, you'll get a scene with Mimi about her mother.

Gino Flag

  • On a side note, Gino should be ready to come back. Make sure you leave and enter the atelier and get both his return and then the recipe for his Rustic Weights. Craft them now and take them to him.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • I got a scene between Mel, Totori and Ceci in the Dining Room. It is linked to the event between Peter and Mel when you leave to the world map.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Adventurer Trainer Rustic Weights

Year 2, 2/2

Gino Flag

  • After turning the Rustic Weights, talk to him about Sterk coming to your house.

Spend the next 7 days doing whatever you want. I am going to craft some more items to raise my Alchemy Level.

Buy Pamela's North Witch Legend for more recipes if you want and have the money.

Year 2, 2/9

Gino Flag

  • Head to Alanya Square to see a scene with Gino, Totori and Mel.

Spend the next 6 days crafting.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Drop by Pamela's for a scene about her teddy bear.

Year 2, 2/15

Mimi Flag

  • You should be able to get the scene Mimi at your atelier right away if her friendship is 30+.

Burn 2 days crafting.

Year 2, 2/17

Gino Flag

  • Head to the atelier for a scene with Gino and Sterk.

Spend 3 more days crafting. You will probably be low on MP. If so, go ahead and sleep one day and use the other 2.

Year 2, 2/20

Gino Flag

  • Head to Alanya Square for a fun scene with Sterk and Gino.

Now, head to Arland in your new and improved carriage.

Year 2, 2/28

Mimi Flag

  • Head to the Adventurer's Guild and talk to Cordelia about Mimi.

Sterk Flag

  • Talk to Cordelia again for a conversation about Astrid and Sterk.

Mimi Flag

  • Talk to Mimi inside the Adventurer's Guild.

You should also be able to rank up by now to Bronze Rank.

Kick Mel and put Marc in your party.

If you have left over Dry Metal or Muffcot make him some gear before heading out.

I suggest you pick up Ear Puni and Audra from Filly if she is offering it and head to Traveler's Path.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head to Tiffani's shop for a conversation about Pamela.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE

Year 2, 3/1

Harvest the locations and fight the enemies here.

The Ear Puni's can call allies so watch out.

The Griffon is a Mini-Boss of this area. Use your skills and healing items if needed. If you are having trouble beating him, you can actually hug the wall to get to the harvesting points on the right. DO NOT TRY AND SNEAK BACK, he will attack you.

Leave before the end of the 3rd.

Fill up your bag with the Water in the well. It is 10 quality better than town's water and you are probably running low.

Year 2, 3/7

Turn in some quests for Filly to get Bronze Artisan and Silver Rank. If you need to adventure for her hunts, do so, but stay nearby if possible.

I have a lot listed for the next 2 months that is kind of optional. If you find yourself behind DON'T PANIC. All you really need is Silver Rank and the events by month 5.

If you ever run out of MP from crafting, take a trip to a nearby area like Old Path, Uni Grove, or Traveler's Path.

Here is what I did:

This got me History of Drying in License Points for crafting everything in the book and Dryer Master in License Points for making Hay, Dried Flower, and Dried Meat.

  • Headed to Nabel Lake for Coastal Penguin.
  • Headed to Uni Grove for Green and Blue Puni.
  • Also fulfilled the Mandragora from random encounters.
  • Crafted Smelly Liquid x2 for Filly.
  • Crafted Tinc x3 for Filly.

This got me Bronze Artisan and Ingot Drop in License Points.

If you get this sooner, you can skip ahead or spend a few extra days crafting.

Year 2, 4/10

You should have Silver Rank up by now and Bronze Artisan, so talk to Cordelia.

Now that you are Silver Rank, you can go to Tiffani's shop with your bag 3/4 full and she will give you a larger basket.

You can fill it up with Water from the well next to R & T Sundries if you want.

You have to enter the Buy section of her shop and then leave.

THE FOLLOWING CAN ALL BE DONE IN ANY ORDER

I took some time to buy Dress Meister from Hagel and upgrade my armor. You will need this for survivability in all newer areas.

SAVE BEFORE DOING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING.

We want to make 2-3 Polywool I suggest 3 to make new armor for someone who's gonna join soonish. Try and stick good stats on it again, but you may have used that Defense +5 already. This is okay, because the armor will get its own natural boost. I, personally, had really bad items so all I got was Sturdy, Defense +3 and MP +10.

This is what you want to make:

  • ?Lady's Armor?
  • ?Silk Armor?

You can save the Adventure Wear that Mimi was using and equip it to Mel or Gino later. You can sell Totori's outfit though.

You're going to be getting wholesaling soon so now is a good time to craft some items for it before going back to Alanya.

Suggested items (if you haven't made them already):

You don't NEED all of these, but these are what I will suggest registering later.

Other items you should craft if you have time:

Put the Heavenly Parasol in your bag.

Mimi Flag

  • You should eventually get a scene with Filly and Mimi when you do about 25 quests for Filly

Try and get this before you go to Arland or it will mess up the future events with Mimi as I have them written. That being said, if you can't, it will not mess it up so bad to screw you over. I will explain more later, but you will basically be behind in my guide a little (her events do not interfere with anything major, just write them down and make sure to get them later.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Stop by the Adventurer's Guild for a scene with Mel.
  • Filly might also complain about work. This is the first step toward Tiffani's trophy.

Year 2, 4/20

Head back to Alanya via Peter.

Year 2, 4/28

Gino Flag

  • Head to the Wharf for a scene with Gino again. For Rorona fans, there is a lot of subtle hints at events from Rorona in the conversations between Gino and Sterk.

Sterk Flag

  • Head home and Sterk should come by and have a conversation about Astrid.

Talk to Ceci and you will gain access to wholesaling.

Some items are more useful to wholesale than others. Items that are used a lot like Supplements are good as well as items that take rare items to make or simply a long time.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT FILLING IT UP You can replace items later.

Items you should register:

Ceci

Pamela

Optional stuff you might have on you:

Ceci

Grab Ear Puni, Fighting Goats, and Green Puni if Gerhard is offering them.

Make sure you have a Tonic, and healing items like Healing Salves or Medical Cream and head to Stein Hill.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head to Pamela's for a scene with a snoozing teddy bear.

Year 2, 5/7

Use the Tonic and make sure you harvest all the points here.

You will need to run across the top of some of the ruins to get all the gathering points. Luckily, the collision meshes in this game are forgiving and it's not incredibly hard.

There is also the Jagd Wolf here. It can be hard if you are under level or if you do not carry healing items. Hopefully, you took my advice and made good weapons and armor back in the day.

Get the landmark by standing on the altar the Jagd Wolf was on.

Leave before the end of the 13th.

Year 2, 5/23

Spend the time until the next date crafting and fulfilling quests.

You can save and try and get Sterk to show up for a Friend Request. You need these for his flag, but it is totally random if it's him that shows up.

Sterk Flag

  • If this is your second request filled, you will get a scene upon reentering the atelier where Sterk's pigeon barges in on the conversation.

You have until 2/9/1 to get this, so don't worry if this is your first request.

Year 2, 6/1

Rorona Flag

  • Ceci will ask you to go find your dad and you will be shocked by your father's discovery. Get the "Catch of the Day" trophy.

Now is a good time to buy North Witch Legend and New Age Art Theory from Pamela if you haven't already.

Make sure you have at least 1 Supplement, Pure Oil, Medical Cream, Migraine Syrup, Polish Powder and Zettel on you to wholesale in Arland, which is where we are going. Buy them from Ceci if needed.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Stopping by the bar may get you a scene between Mel, Ceci and Totori.

Year 2, 6/9

Rorona Flag

  • After the scene with Rorona, head to the Adventurer Guild.

Mimi Flag

  • You should now get a scene with Mimi about saving some guy at the Adventurer's Guild.

If you didn't get the Filly and Mimi event until now, you won't get this until 15 days from now.

I also suggest your rank up NOW, since the 1 day delay I put on this will not matter for another month.

Marc Flag

Before doing any crafting, I suggest you save and try to get Marc or Sterk to drop by. You are going to need to turn in at least 1 for Marc to get a scene later. If you don't it's not that big of a deal, but try anyways.

Take a moment to register items with Hagel, Iksel and Tiffani.

Register these:

Tiffani

Iksel

Hagel

Let's make some Speed Gloves now (You'll get this in a bit).

They reduce gathering time from 50% to 30% of a day letting you gather much more.

This requires Magic Paint from New Age Art Theory at Pamela's Shop, but Magic Paint needs Rainbow Oil and Tar Liquid from the same recipe book. Finally, Rainbow Oil requires Crimson Dye from Traditional Crafts at R & T Sundries.

Chances are you won't be able to make these unless you have been doing a lot of synthesis already.

SAVE NOW - Start by making the 2 Crimson Dye and registering it at R & T Sundries.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • At the atelier Rorona should come up with a funny name for Marc.
  • Similarly, Cordelia should show up for a nickname game as well.
  • When you go to synthesize you should get a scene with Rorona.

For Rorona players, this will be extra funny.

Year 2, 6/10

Now head to Cordelia and get Gold Rank.

Mimi Flag

  • Mimi should come by and get angry about you ranking up so fast.

The reason I waited til now is that you have to wait a day AFTER you see the previous event with Mimi and the guy. Mimi will be unavailable for a few days.

You won't get this if you just got the Filly and Mimi scene.

Now make the Rainbow Oil. You should have Pure Oil registered.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Agrarian Mastery Speed Gloves

NEW AREA NOTICE
Ancient Monastery
Promised Land
Mountain Cave
Camp of the Defeated

Year 2, 6/11

Synthesize the Tar Liquid now.

Year 2, 6/12

You can now make the Magic Paint, but you are probably too low in Alchemy Level. Time to craft for Filly and for levels.

Stuff you CAN make if you haven't already:

The stores restock on the days that end in 1 and 2, so keep this in mind if you need items.

Make sure to check if you can register these items as you make them. You can always register and buy the item back if it is something you are turning into Filly.

Year 2, 6/13

Mimi Flag

  • Mimi will be spying on you from outside.

Only if you had Mimi leave when you ranked up.

Year 2, 6/16

Marc Flag

Keep crafting for more levels. Refer to my list above for what I made.

I actually had a chance at making the Magic Paint by now, although low. You can save and try it or get more levels.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You will probably get a scene with Totori asking about the linked containers.
  • If you crafted a lot, you should get a scene at the atelier with Rorona and get her recipes.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Rorona's Pie Notes Plain Pie
Honey Pie
Veggie Pie
Cream Pie
Meat Pie

Year 2, 6/17

Make sure to register the Magic Paint at R & T Sundries. If you can't make them, don't worry about it. Sadly the Magic Paint is only the first hurtle with the Speed Gloves. Now we need more levels to make the gloves themselves.

After this, we need to kill time until Mimi shows back up. Since there are no other characters in Arland to recruit, I suggest you continue to craft and fulfill quests for Filly.

Year 2, 6/24

Mimi Flag

  • If you ended up behind, you will get the scene with Mimi and the guy at the Adventurer's Guild now.

Craft until the next date and continue on as normal. The next event won't happen until we rank up again.

Year 2, 6/28

Mimi Flag

  • Head to the Adventurer's Guild and talk to Cordelia.

Skip this if you are behind in the Mimi Flag section.

Hire Marc and Mimi again and let's head to Nabel Lake.

Year 2, 7/5

Leave for Arland before the end of the 6th.

Year 2, 7/14

Marc Flag

  • Marc should have 40+ friendship (if you did a Friend Request for him like I suggested).Head to Artisan's Way for a scene with a robot.

Let's get a few more alchemy levels.

Year 2, 7/18

I was able to at least TRY Speed Gloves by now. Save and try them if she doesn't say "Nope, I can't."

Year 2, 7/23

Grab the Gloves, Heavenly Parasol (if you ever made one), and a Bomb and put them in your bag. Now let's head to Sandy Wind Plains.

Year 2, 7/29

Sterk Flag

  • At Sandy Wind Plains you should get a scene with Sterk.

Harvest the best points and fight, but make sure to leave before the end of the 29th for Scorched Wasteland.

Year 2, 8/2

Getting all the gather points here can be a pain, but make sure you get them all. You will need to throw a Bomb at a rock in the middle of the map to get to the landmark and the last gathering point. You will also run into the Wasteland Beast, which you must kill for License Points.

Avoid as many battles as possible.

Leave before the end of the 6th.

Year 2, 8/15

You should be easily be able to get Platinum Rank up by now, if not sooner.

Note that if you were behind in the Mimi Flag section, she will leave now. Her scenes should start to catch up now.

Marc Flag

  • If his friendship is 45+, you should get another scene at Artisan's Way. OMG Marc you're MEAN!!!

You now have until the 23rd to do whatever. I suggest you craft up levels so we can make Traveler's Shoes. Also fulfill quests for Filly.

Year 2, 8/23

Head to Alanya.

If Mimi is still unavailable, grab Rorona for the friendship on the trip to Alanya.

Year 2, 9/1

Sterk Flag

  • Head home for a scene between Totori, her father, and Sterk. That's right Sterky... you're an old man.

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

  • You can get the first event in the Beer making quest-line by talking to Gerhard.

When you are done in Alanya, accept any goat or ghost mobs from Gerhard and head for Silent Path.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you talk to Mel you will get a scene about birthdays (Also, grab Mel if you don't have Mimi in your party and kick Rorona).

Year 2, 9/10

Harvest some points and leave before the end of the 10th for Forgotten Village.

Year 2, 9/15

If you have the Speed Gloves you will want to gather all the points for the License Points, but if you haven't, just make sure you leave by end of the 17th for Alanya.

Make sure you go into the house to get the chest with Wild Spirits in it (The points in here do NOT harvest).

Year 2, 10/1

There isn't much to do in Alanya, so view this optional stuff and then continue on.

You can buy Seasonal Alchemy 2 from Pamela's Shop.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Take a moment to craft a pie at Atelier Totori and Ceci will step in and give you a new recipe.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Fish Pie Recipe Fish Pie
Homemade Pie

Year 2, 10/2

Head for Arland via Peter now.

Year 2, 10/10

If you were behind and lost Mimi, you should go to the guild and talk to Cordelia asap so you can recruit her.

Marc Flag

  • Another event at Artisan's Way will happen if Marc is 50+ friendship.

Chim Ending

  • At the atelier, determine Chim's sex by answering Rorona's question.

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

  • At the atelier, Totori should ask Rorona about drinks and get a recipe book.

You may need to exit and enter a few times to get these.

I suggest you synth the items for Gehard now and get access to the new drinks.

Make 2 Grape Waters in 1 day. If you don't have the Purple Grapes, you can do this later and move on to the next date. I will write the dates as if you did, but I will also write in a section to get more Grapes soon.

By now you should be able to craft the Speed Gloves and/or Traveler's Shoes, so craft them. Make sure to save before trying.

Make sure to put these in your basket and leave them there.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You may get a Filly event at Tiffani's shop if you've fulfilled enough quests. If not, look for it in the future. This is the first of the events here before you need to go to the Sunrise Cafe.
  • Talk to Tiffani for more information on brewing.
  • I also got an event at Tiffani's about how Filly has been doing at work. This is not the event that leads you to the Sunrise Cafe.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Alcohol and Life Beer
Liquor
Grape Water
Fancy Drinks Floral Sour Mix
Million Nights
Blessed Wine

Year 2, 10/18

Head for Alanya again.

If Marc is friendship 60+ you can kick him and put Rorona in your party.

Rorona is the only other character who can use Items and the only one with a Special Attack as well. This is great for boss battles; as Living items will auto heal 2 party members. The bad news is that if you are going for Platinum you won't have a lot of time to play with Rorona. She is an awesome character for New Game + though.

Year 2, 10/26

Make sure you have your Traveler's Shoes on you and head to Natural Garden.

If you made the Grape Water already, use this time to do a quest or craft. If you are behind in my guide, you can ignore this section, even if you haven't made the Waters.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head to Pamela's Shop for an interesting scene between Rorona and Pamela.

Year 2, 10/28

Harvest as many Grapes as you need and leave by the end of the 28th for Rolling Hill.

Year 2, 11/1

If you didn't go to Natural Garden, leave for Rolling Hill now. Make sure you have the Traveler's Shoes on you.

Year 2, 11/13

At Rolling Hill, you should get the License Points for Hill Pioneer (which is the only reason we even walked this far). Harvest the locations on the right, staying out of the middle/upper left, and leave by the end of the 14th.

You will probably want to stop by each of the following locations on the way back, leaving before you spend a whole day:

Year 2, 12/1

You should be back in Alanya by now. Use some time to craft the drinks you couldn't make earlier (either the Fancy Drinks or both set of drinks).

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

  • Grab the three drinks from the Fancy Drinks recipe and turn them into Gerhard.
  • Now head home for a scene and a new recipe.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head to Gerhard's Bar for a scene with Ceci. Boy, that girl can suck 'em back. That's kind of scary really.
  • Head to Pamela's for a scene about where she gets her supplies.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Fish Booze Memo Anchobeer

Year 2, 12/5

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

  • Make the Anchobeer and bring it to Gerhard.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Specialty Notes Bomb Booze

Year 2, 12/7

I suggest you buy out Ceci's stock of Homemade Pie and then head back to Arland.

Year 2, 12/15

Chim Ending

  • Head to Rorona's for a scene with the birth of Chim. Your reward is a cute picture and the "Cuteness Swarm!" trophy.

A cool trick is that Chim can only be assigned items you already have. This doesn't mean you have to have the item to have them make them once they are assigned. When I make big items that I may need to turn in, such as Totori Brunch (for Iksel's Cooking Contest), I assign Chim to duplicate it BEFORE I turn it in. They will make it, even though I gave the item away.

You want to put your Chim's to work asap, but you will probably have no pies. That's okay, but once we get to Alanya we want them working 24/7. Always keep pies stocked from Ceci's store. If you have nothing for them to work on, have them make pies so they will feed themselves and you don't have to stock up as soon.

Iksel's Cooking Contest

  • Head over to Sunrise Cafe and talk to Iksel to start his cooking contest.

You should also be able to get Diamond Rank up, so do that too.

I also bought the next book from Hagel, Crafter's Life.

Iksel's Cooking Contest

I suggest you make 2 and register 1 and turn in the other.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Rorona should give you another recipe book.
  • Cordelia should stop by the atelier as well to see Chim. Awww someone is finally shorter than Cory. I still wonder what happened to big Hom.

  • Craft the Danish and Meister Tarte and take them to Iksel. (If you need to use that Alchemy Yeast that was sitting in storage for all this time gaining quality, assign Chim to copy it before you use it.)

I suggest you make 2 and register 1 and turn in the other.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE

Year 2, 12/20

Iksel's Cooking Contest

  • Craft a 80+ Totori Brunch and turn it into Iksel. (This is easiest done with the 120 Sylph Breath you have lying in storage and the 80 quality Some Egg that Iksel sells.)

Make sure you set your Chim to copy the Totori Brunch before you turn it in.

Year 2, 12/21

Chim Ending

  • Go ahead and put the Water of Life on you and make another Chim.

Now 2 days crafting something and then head to Alanya on the 23nd.

Year 3

Year 3, 1/1

Head to Alanya Square for a scene about Flauschtraut.

If you have enough money you can buy another Water of Life from Pamela's Shop.

Head back to Arland (gotta love traveling for friendship and certain quests).

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head home for a scene between Rorona and Ceci. Oh, Rorona and your pie obsession.

Year 3, 1/9

Chim Ending

  • If you bought the Water of Life, make another Chim.

Let's now take a moment to upgrade our gear again, since we are done with mandatory quests until 3/7/1 and we will be getting a strong ally soon.

WEAPONS

Make 2 Ster Metal. By now you should know how to do this, but here is the traits I ended up with: Convert Damage M, Attack +5, Inflict Sleep, and Holy Power and Earth Power.

Make sure you assign a Chim to copy this at least once.

This is what we want:

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Heading home should get you a scene with Rorona about Hom. I guess that is what happened to him/her.
  • At home there should be a scene about Hom and another about Chim. KIDNAPPED? NOOooo. Wow Totori is oblivious to whom she speaks.

Year 3, 1/11

We need to kill some time crafting now. Here is what I made:

Year 3, 1/15

Sterk Flag

  • YAY.... at the atelier an event will make Sterk recruitable. In case you didn't play Atelier Rorona, Gio is the lazy ass king who Sterk has been trying to get to take his responsibility serious since game 1. I guess a republic was Gio's way of getting off duty.

Kick Rorona and hire Sterk, he's on Artisan's Way.

I suggest you grab any ghost/demon-type and Ear Puni quests from Filly and head to Holy Land Shortcut.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Rorona will most likely give you another recipe book in her set.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE

Year 3, 1/18

Make sure you get the Treasure Chest and leave before the end of the 19th for Ancient Monastery.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You will likely get a scene with Sterk about women's reactions to him.
  • You may get a scene in which Sterk comments on your battle style and increase Totori's level.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Else Qulario Megacraft
Meteor

Year 3, 1/21

Make sure to get all gathering points and approach the altar. There is also a Mini-boss here called Scarlet (a red demon).

Leave before the end of the 25th and head for the Promised Land.

Year 3, 1/30

Clear out the area and leave before the end of the 1st for Arland.

Year 3, 2/10

Remember that extra Ster Metal I told you to copy? It's definitely done, so grab it and make Sterk a ?Famous Sword?.

You now have a lot of time to do whatever you want, so you can skip ahead to 4/3 or continue to follow this guide.

Let's craft some new items (since we have been getting a lot of recipes).

Stuff you SHOULD make:

  • Secret Bag (carrying this will give you access to your container from ANYWHERE).

Stuff you can make and register:

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You will probably get a scene with Rorona about her opinion on adventuring.
  • You will probably see an event about Chim parts. This is a joke that goes back to Astrid telling Rorona what Hom is made out of.

Year 3, 2/30

I suggest you grab Rorona and Sterk (make a new weapon for Rorona if you have extra ingots from duplication) and head to the world map. They make a reference to Aterlier Rorona when you had to pay your party members.... oh the days when I had so much money to burn that I didn't even realize they cost me.

Now head to Dragon Grave.

Year 3, 3/4

Harvest and fight and leave before the end of the 5th for Morning Mist River.

Year 3, 3/12

Harvest and leave before the end of the 12th for Seaside Hill.

Year 3, 3/16

Harvest and leave before the end of the 16th for Ancient Woods.

Year 3, 3/20

Harvest and leave before the end of the 20th for Arland.

Year 3, 4/3

Rorona Flag

  • If you have enough friendship, you should get a scene at the Sunrise Cafe. Players who have played the previous game will enjoy the memories and new players get to feel like Totori.

Burn 2 days if you get the Tiffani and Filly event.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you have enough quests done with Filly you will get a scene with her at Tiffani's. This is the trigger for the trophy. You will need to visit the Sunrise Cafe in 2 day. (If you aren't getting this, make sure you have no quests accepted before you assume you don't have enough quests done).

Year 3, 4/5

Head to the Sunrise Cafe for the trophy "Legendary Drunkard".

Year 3, 4/5

Head to the Adventurer's Guild for a scene with Filly.

We still need more friendship for Sterk. Since the Trevaler's Shoes shortens are walking distance in days, we have to walk more and farther to get friendship points (since 3 days on the map equals 1 friendship point).

Head to Drifter's Grave.

Year 3, 4/15

Harvest and leave before the end of the 15th for Herbal Plains.

Year 3, 4/23

Harvest and leave before the end of the 24th for Alanya.

Year 3, 4/27

SAVE NOW - important choice ahead.

Gino Flag

  • At home, Gino may stop by all beaten up. This may require him to be level 15. If you aren't getting it, don't worry about it, this can be gotten later when you have the Warp Gate.

You now have two choices, you can go to Alanya Square and see the next Gino event there, or go to Artisan's Way and see it there for a new background image in your collection. The issue here is that we can't use Peter's carriage, as it is in the Town Square, to get to Arland.

I am going to write the next bit like you plan to walk to Arland from Alanya.

Head to the world map by hitting Start and avoiding the Town Square, and walk to Arland.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • At home, you will probably get a scene with Rorona and Ceci about pies again.

Year 3, 5/10

Sterk Flag

  • At home, Sterk should drop by and ask for medicine and talk about Gio.

Gino Flag

  • Head to Artisan's Way to bump into Sterk and get a new background image for your collection.

Sterk Flag

  • Head to Artisan's Way for a scene with Sterk and Ro-ro-na bird if his friendship is 30+.

Kick Rorona and get Mimi if she is friendship 60.

Now head to Alanya.

Year 3, 5/18

Gino Flag

  • Talk to Gino. How come Sterk can't always use that all the time? Stupid Specials.

POINT OF NO RETURN

This is the last event needed before you are at the point of no return if you continue, you will get his flag and ruin any other endings.

KICK GINO FROM YOUR PARTY or DON'T INVITE HIM

At home, you will see a scene with Guid, Gerhard and Ceci if you synth something (see below). Time to build a ship... well soonish.

Let's do some crafting here:

We should start duplicating items for the boat requirements. I suggest gathering Eiche and duplicating a cloth of some kind. You are going to need about 20 of both.

Year 3, 5/20

I headed to Fragrant Plains now.

Year 3, 5/24

Harvest and leave before the end of the 24th for Mountain Cave.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You may get a scene about Totori being stubborn and not resting.

Year 3, 5/26

Harvest and leave before the end of the 26th for Alanya.

Year 3, 6/2

Head to Arland via Peter.

Year 3, 6/10

Sterk Flag

  • Head to Artisan's Way for a scene with Sterk's pigeon and Sterk in a field if he is 40+ friendship.

I'm actually running out of places to go and things to craft at this point. You have until 7/1 to do whatever. If you are behind in the guide, this is the perfect time to catch up a little.

I spent the time crafting:

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Cordy will probably be at the atelier for a scene.

Year 3, 6/23

Head to Alanya via Peter.

Year 3, 7/1

In Alanya Square there will be a scene between Mel and Totori about her mother.

Head to Pamela's Shop for a scene. Of COURSE.... damnit Pamela.

Talk to Gerhard now. Well Gisela doesn't sound anything like Totori.

Talk to Peter. Oh man, this town is full of meanies.

Head back to Arland via Peter.

Year 3, 7/9

Talk to Cordelia. Man I love Cordy.

Rorona Flag

  • Head to Artisan's Way for a scene with Rorona and Cory.

Talk to Sterk about your mother. Then again for some fun.

Back at the atelier Mimi will bust in and complain about your mom.

Let's get Sterk 50+ friendship. Head to the world map.

My Sterk only needed 2 friendship points, so I headed to an area 3 days away and walked back without actually entering an area.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Talk to Sterk a second time for some funny talk about his face.
  • Talk to Marc twice for some funny scenes that are not required.
  • If you head to the world map, Rorona should sneak up on Totori and Sterk.

Year 3, 7/15

If Sterk is friendship 50+ he should drop by and drop some items off.

There are two items in this box of value, the Water of Life and the Dark Dew. Also, copy or save that Sonne Fruit for later.

Now is a good time to get the Spring Cup trick going, but in order to do it you will need 2 Dark Dew. Have a Chim duplicate the one you have.

Chim Ending

  • Get another Chim. One more to go.

Let's craft another thing we will need for the ship making:

Skip this if you have one left over in storage and just duplicate it.

Now we can start working toward making good weapons and armor for the events to come.

The following sections related to all this is courtesy of Shana Valkyrie @ PS3trophies.org:

  • Have Chim to collect the best Stench Stone that you have, need 6!
  • Make one high quality Blessed Wine (80+) and register it. (I noted earlier that I made one of these, hopefully you did too.)

We need to kill 13 days while the Dark Dew duplicates. I suggest you spend it adventuring to get Sterk to level 60 friendship. I'm going to leave this all up to you. (The max distance you can go is 6 days if you leave before the day is up.)

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • At the Adventurer's Guild, Filly will probably scream at Sterk's face. Poor guy.

Year 3, 7/28

You should have the second Dark Dew by now. Craft a Spring Cup with Spring Liquid + and MAKE SURE ITS IN YOUR BAG so it can get to quality 100 while you travel.

Courtesy of Shana Valkyrie:

Year 3, 8/1

Now head to Alanya via Peter.

Year 3, 8/9

Head to Crystal Hole.

Year 3, 8/14

Harvest and fight and leave before the end of the 15th for Runestone Nest.

Year 3, 8/17

This place can be pretty hard. You probably want to avoid as many battles as possible and stay away from the Jewel Element boss (if you saved recently you can always try though). Leave before the end of the 18th for Alanya.

Year 3, 8/25

Your Spring Cup should be quality 100 by now (if not, give it a few more days and catch up later). Register it at Pamela's Shop. You can buy and re-register the Cup as many times as you want, but once should be enough for now (if you want the Rich/Store Ending you will want to register it and use it a LOT in year 5.

From now on, whenever you are in Alanya you can buy the Spring Cup's from Pamela and go to the world map (so there's no usage animation) and use it.

The ONLY items worth keeping are as follows:

  • Dark Dew
  • Sea Puddle
  • Forest Drops

For now you will only get Dark Dew, since you can't get items from areas you don't have unlocked.

THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THIS IS TO FIND WATER WITH THE FOLLOWING

  • Quality L
  • HP +30
  • MP +30
  • DEF +10

Other Waters worth keeping are the following:

  • MP Cost -30%
  • Skill +30%
  • All Stats +10
  • Speed +10
  • Dragon Repel
  • Attack +10
  • Attack +5
  • Convert Damage L

You only need to stock about 5 of each of these and then ignore them in the future.

Register and buy the Spring Cup back and head to the world map and look for the above mentioned water and Dark Dew.

Chances are you won't get the above traits in 1 Spring Cup, so spend a few days crafting while you wait for restock on the 1st.

I suggest making 6 Sylph Breaths so that you can use them for Cost Level help in a little bit. If you can stick any two of the following traits on it, do it:

  • Attack +10 - Cost 10
  • Attack +5 - Cost 6
  • Beast Repel - Cost 6

Also have a Chim gather a copy of the Sonne Fruit. It gives the best cost level for a plant. You will need this later.

Year 3, 9/1

Buy the Spring Cups from Pamela. SAVE BEFORE OPENING

Courtesy of Shana Valkyrie:

ARMOR

Make 6 Smelly Liquid (MUST have Quality L from the water)

  • You can buy more Spring Cups from Pamela if you didn't get what you needed.

Make 3 Liquor (individually) w/ 3 Water (HP +30, MP +30, or Defense +10) and the 3 Blessed Wine you bought (which should have 120 quality).

Make 3 Million Nights with the Smelly Liquid + Liquor + Best Blue Fruits that you have.

  • Choose HP +30, MP +30, Defense +10, Quality L.

Now have a Chim copy the Million Nights since it can be used in ALL the [Cloth] synthesis.

You should now be able to make any armor you want with good traits in the future.

Now that we have Dark Dew, it's time to work on some of the best weapons you can get. Firstly, to make your life easier when looking for traits, sell any Dark Dew without the traits listed below before even synthing.

This should give you enough money to buy the rest of Pamela's recipe books.

SAVE BEFORE THIS!!!! - Have Migraine Syrup on hand for MP Recovery.

Courtesy of Shana Valkyrie:

WEAPONS

Make 2 Sylph Breaths with 4 of the following traits (Inflict Sleep should be one if you have it) using 2 of generic Breaths you made earlier that have 2 of these traits.

  • Beast Repel
  • Attack +5
  • Attack +10
  • Convert Damage L
  • Inflict Sleep (you can get this from the Plant)

Once you do that, synth 2 Breath's using the above Sylph Breaths and a Million Nights (which you should have a Chim duplicating). This should give you enough points to add the final trait. That should leave you with 2 Sylph Breath's with all 5 traits (1):

(1)

Beast Repel Cost 6
Attack +10 Cost 10
Attack +5 Cost 6
Convert Damage L Cost 9
Inflict Sleep Cost 5
Total = 36 Cost Level

Now you should synth 2 more Sylph's Breath's using one of the extra above (1) and a generic (original 6) Sylph Breath (for Cost Level). Then pick out the Dark Dew with Dragon Repel and a Million Nights. Use the Sonne Fruit or better to the 40 Cost Level and that should be all 5 traits (2).

If you are missing a Dragon Repel Dark Dew, Pamela should have restocked her Spring Cups.

(2)

Dragon Repel Cost 10
Attack +10 Cost 10
Attack +5 Cost 6
Convert Damage L Cost 9
Inflict Sleep Cost 5
Total = 40 Cost Level

You should now have 1 of (1) and 2 of the other.

Head to Arland for some Arland Crystals (hopefully you have them wholesaled there).

Year 3, 9/20

Head to the Beefy Weapon Shop and R & T Sundries to buy 5 Arland Crystals from Hagel and 10 Polish Powder from Tiffani (you'll have to buy the last 8 in Alanya).

Courtesy of Shana Valkyrie:

Now, an Arland Crystal, Polish Powder and Sylph Breath won't get us enough points to get all our traits in, so we will need to make a generic Blessed Coin first. Make a Blessed Coin with any ingredients as long as it is NOT with the Sylph Breaths with the final 5 traits.

Once you have the generic Blessed Coin, make 2 Blessed Coins using (1) or (2) Sylph Breath's and the generic Blessed Coin.

example:

Generic Blessed Coin

Arland Crystal Cost 13
Polish Powder Cost 5
any ingredient Cost X

Beast Repel Blessed Coin x2

  • Note that the Dragon Repel Sylph Breath (2) took 40 Cost Level. It is the same here.
Arland Crystal x2 Cost 13
Polish Powder x4 Cost 5
Generic Blessed Coin
Dragon Repel Sylph Breath with final 5 traits Cost 22
Total = 40 Cost Level

Do the same for the other Sylph Breath now, but use the extra Blessed Coin from the previous synth. You should be left with 3 Blessed Coins, 2 with one set of 5 traits and 1 with the other 5.

You will probably want to have some Chim's start duplicating these.

Now we can make accessories, if you like.

Courtesy of Shana Valkyrie:

For accessories, let's make it easy on ourselves and make 3 Spirit Necklaces. First though, we need to make another Sylph Breath with all the traits.

Make 2 Sylph Breaths with a Wispstone + Pendelook and 2 Water/Dark Dew with All Stats +10 and MP Cost -30% on them. Use whatever [Plant] gets you the 19 Cost Level. If you are still low, use something higher level than the Pendelook.

(1)

Holy Power Cost 0
MP Cost -30% Cost 8
All Stats +10 Cost 10
Total = 18 Cost Level

Now let's make 2 more Sylph Breath's using the previous one (1) and a generic one (made a while back), 2 Dark Dew's with the traits below, and a Million Nights.

(2)

Holy Power Cost 0
MP Cost -30% Cost 8
All Stats +10 Cost 10
Skill +30% Cost 10
Total = 28 Cost Level

Now make a Spirit Necklace with one of those Sylph Breaths (2) and copy it.

You should have 4 Chims with 2 working on each type of Blessed Coin, 1 working on the Spirit Necklaces, and 1 on pie. You can always set the 4th to work on Spirit Necklaces if you don't need them to make pie. ALWAYS copy the Blessed Coins before/if you use one. You will need these FOREVER!!

You can now make Goldstein [Ingot]s and Tanbeash [Cloth] as the Chim's duplicate the Blessed Coins and Million Nights.

I already had a lot of Million Nights, so I made the following armor with 3 Tanbeash:

  • Rose Maiden (Totori has such a limited gear choice until the final set of [Cloth]).
  • ?Magic Clothes? or ?Strange Cape? or ?Foreign Wear? (your choice between HP, MP, ATK, DEF, and SPD - I'd stick with one of the last 2 since SPD = more attacks).
  • ?Steel Clothes? or ?Dragon Scales? (your choice between LP, ATK, and DEF).

Year 3, 11/1

By now, you should be done with all of the above, if not, just come here when you are ready. You will have a whole year at the end of the game to play catch up.

Head to a nearby area like Old Path, Uni Grove, or Traveler's Path.

Year 3, 11/3

Sterk Flag

  • If Sterk 60+ friendship Sterk will need to leave. He will become unavaiable for the next 6 days.

Harvest and leave for Arland before the end of the 3rd.

Year 3, 11/6

We need to get Marc to level 30, so put him in your party and head to Ancient Monastery.

Year 3, 11/10

Take out all the enemies on the map (except 1 because it pushes you into a new day), avoiding gathering, and rinse and repeat until he's 30.

Six levels took me six days and then I headed for Arland.

Year 3, 11/22

Sterk Flag

  • Sterk should show up at the atelier. He is now available again. This is the last event besides the one related to Gerhard's Beer Hunting quest that involves Sterk.

Make sure to kick Marc and put Sterk back in your party.

You now have until year 4 to do whatever you want really. I suggest fulfilling Filly's quests and crafting. Everyone should be friendship 60+, so there is no need to adventure until we get access to some new areas.

This is a PERFECT time to catch up in my guide if you are behind. Skip ahead if you are.

I suggest you make new weapons with the Blessed Coins that you had the Chim duplicate. You can stop the Chims now if you have 1 left over... if you need more later he can duplicate again. Just make sure you always leave one.

I also suggest you head to Alanya so you can keep up with Spring Cup restocking at Pamela's Shop.

Year 4

Year 4, 1/1

Head to the Adventurer's Guild and talk to Cordelia. If you don't she will show up at Rorona's workshop.

Marc Flag

  • At the atelier Marc will drop by and say he needs you to take him to the Promised Land for a specimen.

POINT OF NO RETURN

This is the last event before the NO RETURN point of getting him his flag. Do not invite him into party again until you are going for the flag.

Head back to Alanya now.

Year 4, 1/9

When you return home, there will be a scene with Guid and Ceci. Lol... I'm starting to like Guid.

Year 4, 1/10

Head into the Dining Room for another scene with the three. Now head to Gerhard's Bar for another scene with Ceci. YAY.

Year 4, 1/11

After all the scenes you will get access to making the boat. Time to gather some materials for dad.

You're gonna need a lot of ingots and cloth. I suggest you have the Chim's help you by duplicating anything you haven't already.

Stuff you 'may need to duplicate or gather:

  • [Ingot] x10
  • [Lumber] x47
  • [Cloth] x10
  • Sylph Breath x3 (you may have left overs from all the armor and weapon crafting)
  • Tar Liquid x5
  • Komet x3

Stuff you SHOULD have registered:

Stuff you can't get until you can rank up:

  • Shining Saucer x5

Get the Chim's duplicating for what you don't have already. If you have extra Chim's double up on stuff like the Ingots that take a while to make.

Head to Arland to kill some time while the Chim's work.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Boat Dismantling Forged Anchor

Year 4, 1/19

Rorona Flag

  • 6 months after the previous flag trigger, Rorona will ask if you like Alchemy or Adventuring more.

Totori's answer will depend on which is higher, your alchemy or adventure level. Either way counts.

POINT OF NO RETURN

This is the last scene before you can choose to trigger her flag. The conditions for triggering it are getting Alchemy Level 50 and then synthing at Rorona's workshop. Simply put, when you get around 45-48 Alchemy Level, do ALL your crafting at Totori's. This will be easy because you will have that damn Warp Gate by then.

Mimi Flag

  • Head to the world ma for a scene with Mimi about gathering materials for the ship.

You have approx. 5 months to do whatever you want. I suggest you fulfill as many Filly quests that you can and get some levels for Mimi. You will also want to make the ship parts as the items get completed in duplication. You should have all ship parts done by 4/6/1.

Year 4, 6/1

You will automatically go to the Adventurer's Guild for your Cobalt Rank Up. Make sure to TALK to Cordelia to get the rank window.

Chim Ending

  • FINALLY! Your fifth Chim. This is the last one. Now all you have to do it put them to work constantly for the flag.

BE WARNED... If you use the last Water of Life you will miss out on recipe that uses the Water of Life. If you hold onto the Water of Life for a while you will eventually get the recipe, but you need all 5 Chim's for Chim Ending. This means it's impossible to have all the License Points and the Chim Ending in one save. You can however, hold onto the Water of Life for the entire game, use it for the Chim Ending (using the 5th Chim as your Point of No Return and ignoring the 34 Large Pie limit - note your other 4 Chim's MUST work nonstop to make up for one less Chim to reach 35 Large Pies) and then use the Water of Life on any other Ending to get the 4,000 License Points and the Library Entry in your Extra's Menu.

I DO NOT SUGGEST YOU DO THIS IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RISK FAILING AND HAVING TO REPLAY THE ENTIRE GAME

POINT OF NO RETURN

The Chim Flag is very random to get because it is based on the amount of pies they eat. Just keep looking at their LARGE PIE count. Once they are close to 35 LARGE PIES make them ALL stop working.

I will make a note of when I stopped them from working, but you could get yours sooner or later depending on how hard they work.

Let's get that damn Warp Gate so we don't need to use the carriage anymore. Head to the world map and select Hermit's Home.

Year 4, 6/10

Harvest and leave before the end of the 10th for Arland.

Year 4, 6/19

SAVE NOW and then craft the Warp Gate.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Rorona has been holding out on you with her books for a while, but she now gives you the last one.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Rorona Danger Book Dark Water

Year 4, 6/24

Grab the Warp Gate from your container and keep it with you always. Use it via the basket (on the world map) and select Atelier Totori.

TADA! Insta-travel between any place to either atelier. This is gonna make your like so much easier. Everything is now a one-way trip.

Melvia Flag

  • Talk to Mel and she will mention taking Ceci out adventuring.
  • Now talk to Ceci, who agrees to do it sometime.

You can start turning in the boat items to Guid at the Wharf, but you still need to make a Helm.

They need to be in your bag and a day will pass after turning in every 2.

Year 4, 6/26

Now let's go get those Shining Saucers. Warp to Arland and then head to Night's Domain.

Year 4, 7/5

Harvest all locations for License Points and leave before the end of the 9th for Dusk Throne.

Year 4, 7/12

Make sure to stand on the throne for License Points and harvest and fight, but leave before the end of the 13th via Warp Gate.

Year 4, 7/14

Firstly, have a Chim start to duplicate the Shining Saucers, since you probably didn't harvest 5.

Do some Spring Cuping, if you haven't already been keeping track and doing it. Now that you can warp to Alanya at anytime, you should be going there after every restock in a day that ends in 1 or 2.

I was at about 100k now.

Now is a good time to make your shops PERFECT. This way you don't have duplicate items in each store. Here is what I had at each:

Iksel:

Hagel:

Tiffani:

Ceci:

Pamela:

These are just what I had; don't go out of your way to craft to get the same items in there if you don't have them.

Let's go get more License Points while we wait for the Chim's and Mel's Flag to come up. From Alanya, head to the Mist Ruins.

Year 4, 7/24

Harvest and fight and leave before the then of the 25th for Arland via the Warp Gate. Make sure you head to the altar in back for License Points.

Year 4, 7/26

From Arland, head to Moonlight Forest.

Year 4, 8/4

Harvest and leave before the end of the 4th for Old Sanctuary.

Year 4, 8/9

The Dragon here can be hard if you don't have good gear, but we should. Take him out by going all out and then get the landmark altar before leaving by the end of the 9th for Neumont Forest.

Year 4, 8/18

Clear out all the harvest points here and take out the T. Bomb Squirrel. Leave before the end of the 21st to Alanya (I'm gonna stop saying via Warp Gate now).

If you didn't have enough Shining Saucers, you should now.

Year 4, 8/22

Melvia Flag

  • Put Melvia in your party and invite Ceci out.

Year 4, 8/24

You should now be able to make the last boat piece. Make it and put it in your bag, but don't drop it off to Guid yet.

Year 4, 8/29

Warp to Arland, get Sterk and head back into Atelier Rorona.

Head to the Wharf and hand over the last boat piece.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • If you held onto that last Water of Life this long, Rorona will give you the Chim Pie recipe. You can save and try and make it without a 5th Chim if you want, but if you are not wanting to risk replaying the last 2 years, I suggest you just make the 5th Chim now.

NEW RECIPE NOTICE
Wonderful Recipe Chim Pie

If you want to see the 3rd Bad Ending. Make an alternate save here. The 1st and 2nd Bad Ending are easy to get, as all you have to do is sleep though certain aspects of the game and do no work. This one requires enough work done to get Cobalt Rank, which is a pain.

Year 4, 8/30

We have a long journey ahead of us, so let's make sure you have done the following:

  • Hired Sterk and Mimi.
  • Have all the Chim's set to make pies for themselves.
  • Have at least 2 BIG Bombs (like Meteor, Mega Bombs, etc) on you or in your container in case of emergency if the ones you brought don't do enough damage.
  • Used up any Spring Cups that have restocked (I had about 150k by now).
  • Sold any items you have a lot of. (Your inventory is getting full and we are going to the areas with some of the best items in the game. Sell off anything you have more than 15 of and make room for these new items).
  • Saved your game in a new slot if you want that 3rd Bad Ending and in case of death.

Mimi Flag

  • Head back to the Wharf and say goodbye. That's right folks... in 3 days you too can have a HUGE ship too.

It is possible to not take her on the ship the first time, but she needs to be present for the next boss fight. Better to get her now then to have to come back.

Some people have experienced issues getting Rorona's Point of No Return after reaching the Frontier Village, so make sure you have this before leaving.

Once you have control, head to the Island of Beginnings.

Year 4, 10/28

Harvest and fight and leave before the end of the 28th for Altmeier.

You should equip the Dragon Repel weapons if you have them.

Year 4, 11/2

The Flauscetraut will attack. WOOOT!! What a push over... at level 40 the guy could barely hurt me. I used Vitality Pills to up Totori's HP, but she really didn't need it. I also used Mystery Ankh to get DEF+, as well, but that didn't matter much either. When my allies got low life I used normal attacks (since Skills don't get the Convert Damage attribute) or healing items.

Be sure to go INTO Altmeier after the battle and gather all the harvest points here and leave before the end of the 6th for Tiny Island.

Head east toward the grave. Awww really. Yay for finally seeing mom and flashbacks. Get "Tragic Discovery" trophy.

The well here gives the highest quality Water, in case you are, but you probably won't.

Year 4, 11/30

Mimi Flag

  • Leave town and watch more scenes including stuff about Mimi. Get "Aristocratic Love" trophy.

Warp back to Alanya for more scenes. Ahahah she followed me.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head to the Dining Room for a scene with Ceci and Piana. You will need to see a few of these to get a trophy, so check back whenever you're in town.

Year 4, 12/1

Warp to Arland.

Mimi Flag

  • Talk to Mimi at the Adventurer's Guild.

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

  • We can finally craft the drinks that we got the recipes for ages ago. Do that now.

I'm gonna write the dates as if you didn't have any of the pre-req. drinks made. If you had these registered, you can burn some time here.

Spring Cup reminder. Get it as often as you can on every date with 1 or 2 at the end. You should easily have 200k at month's end.

Year 4, 12/11

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

  • Take the drinks and give them to Gerhard.

Go to the wharf and talk to Guid and Marc. Turning in the items Shining Saucer and Plantine (buy from Hagel) will make your boat go twice as fast. THANK GOD.

Now we need to burn a month. This is a good time to catch up on anything you might have missed previously, any areas you haven't uncovered, and craft any items you want to check out.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You can talk to Ceci to see her response to your drinks.
  • Head to Hagel's Shop and you'll see a scene where Totori mentions the similarity between Gerhard and Hagel's voice.

Year 5

Year 5, 1/11

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

  • Talk to Gerhard for a new recipe.
  • Head to the Wharf and talk to Guid.
  • Head to Arland and talk to Sterk.
  • Grab a Sonne Fruit and make sure you keep it on you until we go to the Den.

Spring Cup reminder. Stock up now and make sure to come back after the 2nd rolls over.

Going to the Guardian Den anytime before the 26th is a waste of time, as you will get stuck waiting there until the 30th, so kill some time until then.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head home and you should get another scene with Ceci and Piana.
  • Head to the bar for a scene with Hagel. Too funny. Same actor?

Year 5, 1/30

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

  • Wow... now that is a lovely picture for both genders. Receive the "Legendary 'Fish'" trophy.

Year 5, 2/1

While you're out here you might as well finish off the other island route and make your second trip to Frontier Village.

First let's head to Altmeier and kill off anything we need for quests.

Year 5, 2/8

Ignore the harvesting points, as we have limited space and we don't need any of the ingredients. Kill what you need to, but make sure you leave before the end of the 9th for Jungle Island.

Year 5, 2/16

Fight and leave to the east before the end of the 16th for Desolate Island.

Year 5, 2/20

Fight or harvest and leave to the east before the end of the 20th and head to Frontier Village.

Year 5, 2/25

Head to the Elder's Home for another scene. Talk to Pilca afterwards.

NEW AREA NOTICE
Prayer Forest

Year 5, 3/3

Make sure to get the altar landmark at the far north and leave before the end of the 3rd and warp to Alanya.

Spring Cup reminder. I had about 250k by now.

Be aware that you can make almost 15k for each set of 10 cups, that means in a month you can get about 90k. In other words... 500k can be made in as little as 5 and a 1/2 months (If you purchase them on ever day that ends in 1 and 2). So PLEASE don't miss events because you want to buy cups. You can also always double register them to do 20 for each restock date if you get into the 6th year and are worried.

Year 5, 3/4

At home, Piana should drop by for a quick convo.

Now warp to Arland for a scene with Rorona about the sacrifice.

You can start to duplicate the Dragon Tusk and Dragon Scale (if you have one) for the new armor and buy Hagel's Divine Materials.

Head to Pamela's Shop for a funny scene.

A couple of thing to watch out for in the next few months:

  • Alchemy Level hitting 50 (DO NOT CRAFT IN ARLAND)
  • Chims hitting 35 LARGE pies (stop them from working BEFORE this)
  • Mimi hitting Adventure Level 50 (kick her BEFORE this happens)
  • If you haven't gotten Tiffani/Filly drunkard trophy (Watch for the event where Tiffani mentions going for drinks and head to the Sunrise Cafe 2 days later.

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Talk to Gerhard about your fishing experience.
  • Head home for another scene with Ceci, Rorona, and Piana.

Year 5, 3/8

SAVE NOW

Let's do some armor and weapon upgrading:

ARMOR

Start by making 1 Scale Cloth from the one Dragon Scale you should have duplicating and the previously made Million Nights (which you should have more than one of. If not, make sure to duplicate it.

You should have the following traits:

Healing Power Cost 0
Quality L Cost 6
MP +30 Cost 8
DEF +10 Cost 9
HP +30 Cost 10
Total = 33 Cost Level

Set a Chim to start duplicating this at least once times.

Burn a few days until you have another Dragon Scale ready to use. Check the Chim Board to see how many days are left.

Now make a Velvetis with the same traits as above, using a Dragon Scale and a Million Nights.

Set a Chim to duplicate this at least twice.

With the new cloths, we want to make the follow:

  • ?Ancient Robe? (for Totori)
  • ?Cloak? (for Mimi)
  • Heroic Cape (for Sterk when you have another Scale Cloth)

Now, while we wait for the Dragon Tusks to duplicate, let's work on some end game items:

Courtesy of Shana Valkyrie:

Minor HP/MP Healing

Secret Remedy (with Healing Essence from Forest Dew)

Traits (don't go higher than M or you will lose it when you register):

  • Rank Boost M
  • Boost Effect M
  • Effect Boost M
  • Satisfying M
  • Usage + 1

If you can't get those, get these:

  • Complex L
  • Surging Power
  • Serenity Now

This will replace your Medical Cream in R & T Sundries.

Mind Water

Effects you want:

  • MP Recovery XL (most likely from a Fragrant Bug)

This will replace your Migraine Syrup in R & T Sundries.

Major HP/MP Healing

Elixir (We will need to make 2 different Elixir's)

(1)

Effects that you want:

  • HP Recovery XL (use a Dragon Tusk if you need to)
  • HP Healing L (HQ Nectar that you should have)
  • Ailment Recovery (HQ Sage Herb)

Traits you want:

  • any of the listed above
  • Lively (Living if you don't have this)

If you put Lively on, you can't register this. Keep that in mind when you make this choice.

(2)

Effects that you want:

  • HP Recovery XL (use a Dragon Tusk if you need to)
  • HP Healing L (HQ Nectar that you should have)
  • KO Recovery/Wake Up (LQ Nectar or Behemoth Heart)
  • MP Recovery XL (LQ Sage Herb)

Note that you may not have a Low Quality Sage Herb at this time. If that is the case, put this off until later. Also, your Chims should be done duplicating the [Cloth]'s and Dragon Scales. Set these Chim's to duplicate the Elixirs, if you couldn't register them.

Other End Game Items

Ether Ink (with Item+ effect, if you don't already have one)

Make sure to register this at R & T Sundries.

Dimension Egg

  • Any traits will do as you can't get rid of the effects anyways.

Make sure to register this at Pamela's Shop.

N/A (If you go for L effects you will not be able to register this)

  • Rank Boost M/L
  • Boost Effect M/L
  • Effect Boost M/L
  • Satisfying M/L
  • Usage + 1/2 (save before crafting these into N/A)

I'm not gonna go into detail with this, because I don't personally like using bombs.

WEAPONS

By now you should be able to make 3 Halmolium, using one of the Beast Repel Blessed Coins we made ages ago, and making sure you keep enough Cost Level to get all 5 traits.

Remember to always keep at least 1 coin left over, so we can make more later. If you don't have enough coins or tusks, make 1 and then copy the ingot, but this takes longer.

With the 3 ingots, we want to make the following:

  • ?Scary Staff?
  • ?Ultimate Spear?
  • ?Supreme Sword?

Year 5, 4/10

You should be done with all of the above by now, and if you aren't don't worry. Just continue forward wherever you are at.

Grab some Secret Remedy, Mind Water, and anything else you want to bring for a boss fight and head to Liechtein Soehnle.

Year 5, 5/1

Hehehe. I knew it. Did you? Anyways, time to fight the game boss. Get the "Haunted Doll?" trophy and then head inside.

TIPS:

  • If you made the Ether Ink and a N/A combo, use that.
  • Dimension Egg it up with Totori's duplicate, so you can use it multiple times.
  • Use Mystery Ankh's if you got them.
  • Have enough healing items on you.
  • Make sure you have the best weapons and armor.

I had Mimi, Sterk and Totori all about 42ish.

Year 5, 5/3

After the scene at Frontier Village, head to the world map and SAVE NOW. Now Head back to the tower. Let's try and find a LQ Sage Herb for our Elixir.

Mimi Flag

  • Beating Evil Face opens up the possibility for True Ending and it is the last event before Mimi's no return.

POINT OF NO RETURN

If Mimi hits Adventure Level 50 you will trigger her flag. In order to prevent this, except when you want, kick her from your party BEFORE then.

Year 5, 5/6

You can return to the tower at any time to take on some of the hardest bosses in the game, but I don't suggest it for UNDER 45 and not without the best gear in the game. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!

Talking to the statue on the right will let you pass the gap.

Head to the second floor and check the harvesting points. Ignore them if they don't have a LQ Sage Herb and move on. If you have to fight the Dragon to go up another floor, you may be too low to kill him. I survived by constantly blocking Totori and having lots of Secret Remedies, Mind Water, and Nectars.

On the third floor is the Iron Giant Proto. This guy is considerably weaker than the previous Dragon, but don't get too cocky. He buffs himself and then he becomes dangerous, especially if you are running low on items.

ON the fourth floor is a battle with Penguin Monks. These guys have incredibly strong skills and really weak normal attacks. The other part is that there are three of them. I hope you have Inflict Sleep on your weapons, cause this will help out a lot here. Try and sleep them and you should be okay. If not, you may die quickly if you are low on items. Make sure to block Totori if any of the skills get used on her, but let her take the normal attacks.

On the final floor is the Rage Beast, but I doubt you can take it on. I was out of items, so I headed back to Alanya.

On the last floor there is a shortcut to floor 2 on the left side, just after the entrance.

Year 5, 5/8

Head home for a scene with Piana and Ceci.

Gerhard's Beer Hunting

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • Head to Pamela's for a scene. Awww poor Pamela.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE READY FOR ENDINGS.

You can spend the rest of the time working on getting as close to any flags as possible. The following is a list of what you need to work on:

  • Get Mimi to level 49 and Totori to level 50
  • Get the Chims to 34 LARGE pies
  • Get Alchemy Level 50 (do NOT synth in Arland after this)
  • Make 500k... (just barely, you'll need to spend some to get under 500k for Normal Ending)

My Chim's were at 31 large pies by now. So I stopped all, but 1. At least 1 of your Chim's needs to eat 9 large pies though, so I left my first one working until he got to 9 putting me at 32. I then made a different one work. I CAREFULLY watched them, saving often and stopped them at 34 large pies.

Spring Cup reminder. I had about 330k by the end of 5/5/30.

Spend the rest of the month crafting the Elixirs, N/A, and Ether Ink if you didn't have time. Also, you can level up in the tower, while looking for the LQ (under 20) Sage Herb, if you didn't get it yet.

Here are some other things you may want to do:

Year 5, 6/1

Fishing Festival

  • Peter will come running to the atelier to tell you about the fishing festival. Two months is so far away with your Warp Gate in hand.
  • Talk to Ceci, Pamela and Mel in Alanya.
  • Rorona, Tiffani (for fun), Cordelia, Mimi, and Filly.
  • You have everyone you need so now all you have to do is burn 2 month, EXACTLY!!!

Note that if you have not already taken Pamela to the tower at this point, you probably want to do it asap or not do it until AFTER the festival. The reason for this, is that you can get caught with Pamela missing the festival.

By now I had a rank up. Head to Cordy for Galaxy Rank.

Galaxy Rank doesn't get you new recipes, but it does cause new monsters to spawn at Night's Domain and Moonlight Forest.

If you aren't there yet, don't worry. We will get it once we go adventuring some more. This is not mandatory for the Platinum by the way.

You can now do whatever you need to until the Fishing Festival.

Here are some suggestions:

  • Complete anything you didn't have time to do in the above list.
  • If you haven't made Dragon Repel versions of your weapons, do that now.
  • Fight Glass Element in the Moonlight Forest if you are Galaxy Rank.

This chick is hard and she hits like it. If you are lucky you can sleep her and cause her to miss her turns. She gets 2 per turn and your sleep will only last 3. That means she has to be slept right before her turn to actually avoid both her attacks. Fight her the same way you fought Evil Face.

When she uses Healing Light, that's her ATK boost skill. You will probably get 1 shotted by her Jewel Storm now, so block Totori. Don't bother blocking Gem Splash for Totori though, she can handle it. The good news is that it will wear off and she probably won't use it again.

Also, if you are Galaxy Rank, there will now be Moonlight Flowers behind her that you can gather.

Run to the top of the area, avoiding battles. The Black Dragon is located near the top, across some trees that bridge a gap. It's right past the Fresverg area.

The good news is that your weapons (Dragon Repel) will give you crits on Dragons. The bad news is this guy gets 3 turns per your 1. With Elixirs you should be okay, but this is possible without them as well. Same tips as all the other battles except do NOT assist attack. You will need all your assists to defend Totori from the aoes.

  • If you haven't gotten the "Legendary Drunkard" trophy. Cancel any quests and try going to R & T Sundries now. If you get the scene, go to Sunrise Cafe 2 days later. (Source: drachmeister for figuring this out)

OPTIONAL EVENTS

  • You should get another scene with Rorona and Piana at some point. This should give you "Still a Child" trophy.
  • You should get another scene at Pamela's Shop. Dear LORD, her breasts.
  • If you got Galaxy Rank, talk to the male adventurer in the Adventurer's Guild and he will tell you about a new boss and a new area.

NEW AREA NOTICE
Sea Dragon Pool

Year 5, 8/1

Peter will come to the atelier EXACTLY two months after the previous event.

Year 5, 8/2

Sneaky bastard. The winner doesn't matter, but there is a different ending for whoever wins. Enjoy! You'll also receive "Fishing Festival" trophy.

There are, literally, no events left to do in this game except go for Endings or finishing off your Monster and Item data (neither is required tho). I suggest working on Alchemy Level 50. Once you have that go for level 50 Adventuring Level (remember don't let Mimi hit it tho). Don't forget about getting 500k either and watch your Chim's pies.

The Final Steps

If you don't care about optional stuff, skip ahead to Year 6.

TIPS ON WHAT'S NEXT:

  • Craft to get close to Alchemy Level 50
  • If you want 100% library, go to every location
  • Check what License Points you are missing and work on getting them. Only if you want all 4000 points.
  • Go leveling in harder areas or in Liechtein Soehnle, remember there are 5 bosses in there for your Monster data and the Rage Beast for License Points, if you care.

Get all the gather points at the tower for the License Points, if you want.

If you want to take out Ozean Kaiser (hardest optional boss) gather items to make the Elixirs I listed earlier, or improve them with these new versions.

Elixir (We will need to make 2 different Elixir's)

(1)

Effects that you want:

  • HP Recovery XL
  • HP Healing L (HQ Nectar that you should have)
  • Ailment Recovery (HQ Sage Herb)

Traits you want:

  • Cure-All (Moonlight Flower)
  • Source of Life (Blessed Stone)
  • Lively (Living if you don't have this or want to be able to register it)

(2)

Effects that you want:

  • HP Recovery XL
  • HP Healing L (HQ Nectar that you should have)
  • KO Recovery/Wake Up (LQ Nectar or Behemoth Heart)
  • MP Recovery XL (LQ Sage Herb)

Traits you want:

  • Nothing specific, but Usage +1 is nice (+2 can't be registered)

Also make sure you read the Ozean Kaiser section of Shana Valkyrie's guide here:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/atelier-totori-adventurer-arland/130613-totori-optional-boss-monster-location- guide.html#post2230728

He will go into making Shadow Bands so you can get up to 5 turns for Totori. He also mentions using Rorona, but that's not required.

The only addition that I have to his guide is that I was only LVL 47 and I never attacked with Totori. I was using Sterk and Mimi so I had to heal 24/7.

Year 6

You should have the following things by now:

  • All character flags right before the Point of No Return
    • Mimi level 49
    • Gino level 24
  • Alchemy Level 50
  • Adventure Level 50
  • Iksel's Cooking Contest and Gerhard's Beer Hunting quests done
    • 34 large pies with your Chims
    • Almost 500k or just a little over

Time to work on some endings. MAKE A NEW SAVE FILE NOW AND ALWAYS LOAD FROM IT Do not overwrite it EVER.

  • Put your Chim's to work so you get over 35 large pies.

Time for the Bad Ending. Start a New Game + and then just sleep in for the first few months and miss all the events. This automatically make you fail and get the Bad Ending. You also get "Bad Ending" trophy.
