Version History

V1.0: Submitted the guide. Eventually I need to include the Wiggler's diary entries in the walkthrough itself, but aside from that, it's pretty much complete.

Introduction

It's that time again, for the fourth installment in the Paper Mario series, this time for the Nintendo 3DS. Sticker Star attempts to bring the series back to its roots while also changing things up a bit. It retains some RPG elements of the first two games while also adapting a world map system, similar to the Super Mario Bros games. How does it hold up? Well, that's up to you to decide! Let's get down to it.

Story

In the Mushroom Kingdom, there is an annual holiday known as the Sticker Fest. During this holiday, citizens of the kingdom gather around during the night to watch the Sticker Comet in the sky. This comet is said to make any wishes come true. Naturally, Bowser is interested in this sort of object, so he's quick to arrive and crash the party this time around! The Toads attempt to stop him, but fail as he crashes into the comet, causing it to shatter into several pieces and fly off in random directions. One of the pieces lands on Bowser's head, causing his power to increase exponentially. He then creates a tornado which destroys the Sticker Fest and scatters the Toads around the area, sticking them to walls and behind objects. In the process, he kidnaps Princess Peach!

Enter Kersti, the caretaker of the Royal Stickers. Her mission, of course, is to recover the six Royal Stickers to restore the Sticker Comet. After some bickering between Mario and Kersti, Mario sets out on a new adventure with his new partner.

Controls

I'll list the controls of the game here.

Controls

  • Start Button: Sorts the stickers in your Sticker Album, only when viewing the album
  • Select Button: Does nothing
  • Home Button: Suspends the game temporarily and brings you to the Nintendo 3DS Home menu
  • A Button: The button you'll be using the most. Jumps, examines things, peels off stickers, uses stickers in-battle, etc.
  • B Button: Uses your hammer
  • X Button: Uses the Battle Spinner
  • Y Button: Enters Mario into paperizing mode, and shows details for stickers
  • L Button: Calls upon Kersti
  • R Button: Does nothing

Simple enough, right?

Game Basics

I will explain the basics of the gameplay in this section. The game doesn't do a fantastic job of explaining everything, so this is the place to go if you're confused about something.

Fighting with Stickers

The battle system is a bit different from any other Paper Mario game (not including Super Paper Mario, since it was barely an RPG to begin with). Mario gets no partners or badges to assist him in battle whatsoever; instead, he has an album full of stickers (called the Sticker Album) in which he places his stickers. He uses these stickers as attacks, so basically, your attacks in this game are items. Don't worry, though: you get plenty of coins in each level so you can buy some if need be, and there are more than enough scattered throughout each level. You start out with only two pages to your album, but you get more as the game progresses.

Timed Attacks

What would any Mario RPG be without timed attacks? Each sticker has a specific point you're supposed to press A at, and if you do it properly, you'll deal more damage. For Jump-related stickers, you can press A multiple times (to use an example, just as Mario's about to land on the opponent's head) to deal extra damage. You're graded "Nice", "Good", "Great" and "Excellent", depending on how well you perform your timed hits. Similarly, you can also guard against oncoming enemy attacks by holding A shortly before the attack(s) hit you. Unlike previous Paper Mario installments, you have a few seconds to put your guard up from the attack, as opposed to just having to press A at a percise moment.

Battle Spinner

Not too long after starting the game, you'll be granted the ability to use the Battle Spinner. Ordinarily, you can only use a single sticker per turn, but for some of the harder battles, you'll find that one sticker a turn just won't do. That's where the Battle Spinner comes in. By paying an initial fee of 3 coins to activate it, a slot machine starts. If you match up two of the same icon, you get to use an extra sticker on that turn. If you get a perfect match (three of the same icon), you get to use three stickers in that same turn. You lose one sticker slot per turn, so if you have three sticker slots, on your next turn you'll have two, and then the next one you'll be back down to one.

Once you activate the slot machine, you can pay an extra fee of 15 coins to get a guaranteed two-slot match. You can pay 30 more coins to slow the first two slots down so you can land on a specific set of slots you want. Unfortunately, the third slot is always spinning quickly no matter what, so getting a perfect match can be tricky (and it's usually not worth making an effort to do so, and just relying on blind luck instead). You can use the Battle Spinner once per turn, and while the price to activate it does not change, the price to get a two-slot match and slow it down doubles every time. So don't get too crazy with it, or you'll lose your coins quickly!

Finally, you're probably wondering why it matters which slots you get. If you get a perfect three-slot match, it will have a special effect depending on which slots you matched:

  • Coins: Gives Mario a pretty decent coin bonus.
  • Mushroom: Restores Mario's HP.
  • Lightning: Damages all enemies onscreen with lightning bolts.
  • POW Block: Deals damage to all ground-bound enemies and may also crumple them.
  • Poison Mushroom: Takes away Mario's HP.

I'm not sure if I'm missing any or not. Feel free to contact me (by PMing me on the GameFAQs boards or emailing me) if I am.

Perfect Bonus

If you win a battle without taking damage (an enemy getting a First Strike does count), you'll get a Perfect Bonus. This contributes towards one of the Super Flag Achievements, and more importantly, gives you more coins when you win. The easiest way to do this is to use the Battle Spinner and a couple stickers that hit all enemies.

HP-Up Hearts

Throughout the game you'll find these items called HP-Up Hearts, which increases Mario's maximum HP by 5. Since you only get coins for battling, this is the only way to "level up", for lack of a better term. Some of them are hidden, while others are obtained after miniboss fights or lying out in the open. Try to find as many as you can; you're gonna need them! They also increase Mario's First Strike power.

Paperizing

After you defeat Bowser Jr. in World 1-1, you'll get the ability to "paperize" Mario, which involves Kersti lifting him up and basically removing him from the "page", allowing him to float above it. In this mode, you can place objects into boxes shown onscreen to open up certain areas and access certain items, etc.. There are various places where you can do this, and not all of them are required, but you'll be using it a lot throughout your adventure. Paperize yourself in various suspicious-looking areas and see if there's anything there.

Status Effects

Like usual, there are various status effects throughout the game, that can affect both Mario and enemies alike. I will list all of them, and what they do, below.

  • Dizzy: Lowers accuracy.
  • Crumple: In other words, paralysis. Unable to make an action until the effect wears off. Also lowers Defense.
  • Poison: Takes off some HP with each turn until it wears off. Also lowers your accuracy.
  • Soggy: Makes you unable to move. I'm not exactly sure on the specifics of this status effect since I never got it inflicted on me.
  • Tape/Staple: Unable to make an action until the effect wears off. Only enemies can receive this effect, from specific Thing stickers.

If I'm missing any, feel free to contact me and tell me which one(s) it is (send me a PM on GameFAQs or email me).

When the game begins, watch the opening scene where Bowser and his minions crash the Sticker Fest. Eventually you will hear a voice telling you to wake up. Press A three times to unfold Mario completely, and you'll be in control. That same voice is asking you to help it; walk over to the Peach poster directly ahead and the object will tell you to peel it off. Walk up to it and hold down the A button to do so. This crown-looking sticker introduces herself as Kersti and says she has to gather the six Royal Stickers that have scattered throughout the kingdom. Of course, Mario's gonna help her, being the gentleman he is. Our first course of action is to help all of the Toads stuck to the walls around the area, so start by peeling off the Bowser sticker on the northern wall, then peel off the Toad. He'll give you a Hammer, which you'll be needing to find most of these guys. You can also use it to uncover secrets and other things; for example, if you use it on the edge of the lightpost near you, you'll make it stand up. Since this area has a few more Toads in it, I'll just make a list telling you where they are.

Toad Locations (First Screen)

  • In the northeastern corner behind the poster. Smash the ground near it with your hammer to make it fall.
  • In the northwestern part of the area, on a flap of paper hanging down. Jump on the crates nearby to reach him.
  • Hanging on a flag slightly south of the previous one. First peel the sticker on the floor to make a concession stand appear, then jump on the roof of it using the crates and peel him off (get the Eekhammer sticker on the blue crate while you're at it!).
  • On a crate to the south, stuck to two layers of stickers. The first one is on the side of the crate, and the second one is on top.
  • At the east side of the area, running around with a Jump sticker stuck to his head. Run up to him and peel it off, and grab the sticker as well.

That's all for the Toads on this screen. Once you've rescued them all, get the Hammer sticker on the eastern side where the running Toad was, then hit the crate next to it for some coins if you want. Go to where the Toads are gathered up at the end of the screen and destroy the block with your hammer, then peel the sticker off the ground to open the path to the next screen.

On this screen, there are more Toads you have to rescue! Here's another list.

Toad Locations (Second Screen)

  • Right when you enter the area, you'll notice one behind a bush. Jump in the fenced area and smash the backside of the bush to make it fall, revealing the Toad. Hit the Item Block for a coin.
  • In the house with the blue roof. Check the cabinet to find several of them inside!
  • South of that house is a bush. Knock it down and peel the Toad off.
  • In the house with the purple roof; peel the sticker off the door and go inside. First get the Jump sticker off the wall, then hit the trash can with your hammer.
  • By the door leading into the house on the far right is a doormat. Hit the ground near it to flip it over and reveal a Toad stuck to the bottom. Peel him off. Poor thing.
  • Now go inside the house and check the middle "picture". It's actually a group of Toads all hiding behind it! How did they manage that? Well, anything's possible with paper and stickers.
  • In between the last two houses is a small alleyway with a Toad stuck to the western wall. There's also an Item Block containing a Jump sticker and a Worn-Out Jump sticker on the other wall.
  • To the right of that house is a small shed thing. On top of it is a folded up Toad; go under it and hit the top several times until you unfold him.

Now that you have all the Toads rescued, let's get the items before moving on. At the entrance of the screen, stuck on the bush on the right is a Worn-Out Hammer sticker. Stand in the middle of the patch of dirt beside it and jump to hit a hidden block, which contains another Jump sticker. On the house with the blue roof is a Hopslipper sticker in plain sight. On the last house on the far right is another Hammer sticker, and to the north of that is a Worn-Out Hammer sticker stuck to the bush. Now jump on the blocks near that bush (don't break them) and onto the roof of the house, then hit the Item Block for a Shiny Hammer sticker. That's about it for the items, so head southwest and to the next screen. Here you'll see that the town's floor has been rolled up, along with all of the Toads you rescued attempting to push it back to restore it. If you rescued all of them they'll succeed, resulting in a neat pop-up book effect, revealing the rest of the town!

At this point, your game will save for the first time. There's a Recovery Block (which you don't need yet) and a Save Point at the area's entrance, too. Kersti will tell you that you can call upon her any time by pressing the L button, and she'll give you hints on where to go next (but you have this walkthrough, so you don't need her!). There's a shop here, which doesn't sell much just yet (and you can't afford any of it at this point anyway), and a building which is locked. The shop has a Hammer sticker on the left wall. The screen to the left leads to an empty area for now. So, the only solution is to take the southern fork and--oh no, a bundle of Goombas. They threaten you, but they're quite easy, as expected. Time for your first battle!

Kersti will give you a few stickers to defend yourself with, even if you gathered every item possible before this point. Don't waste that Shiny Hammer sticker if you got it earlier; instead, just use normal Jump or Hammer stickers. Be sure to defend yourself from oncoming attacks by holding A just before the attack hits you. Also, each sticker has different effects; be sure to read the details before using them, or check the Stickers section for more information.

Once the battle is over, the Goombas will run off and Kersti will recommend checking out the Sticker Shop whenever you want. For now, though, hit the Recovery Block before you leave and take the southern exit to the world map. You'll see that we have three levels to go to: 1-1, 2-1, and 3-1, as well as an extra area called the Surfshine Harbor. Let's head there first.

Surfshine Harbor

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Jump
    • Hopslipper
    • Big Shiny Hammer
    • Shiny Hammer (x2)
    • Hopslipper (x2)
    • Worn-Out Hammer
    • Hammer
    • Jump
    • Hopslipper

On the first screen, head west and peel off the Jump sticker on the crate. There's a Hopslipper sticker in the Item Block near the first warehouse; enter the warehouse and get the Big Shiny Hammer sticker there. Now exit and go right to find a brick. Jump on it, then up to the Item Block containing a Shiny Hammer sticker; there's another one on the wall of the warehouse you just entered. To reach it, jump back on the brick then jump south and move left a little, to edge your way over onto the box where you can reach it. Enter the second warehouse and get the Jump sticker on the ladder or whatever that is. As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to do anything else in this warehouse for now, so head back outside and go east. You'll find a Hopslipper sticker on the wall; from there, go east and under the pier to an area with an Item Block, which contains another Hopslipper sticker. At this point, your Sticker Album is likely nearly full, but I'm gonna show you the locations of the other stickers anyway (feel free to get rid of your Worn Out stickers, since they're not very useful). There's a Worn-Out Hammer sticker on the pier, and on the next screen is a Hammer and Jump sticker in plain sight on the crates. There's also a Recovery Block here. Walk in between the crates to another area to find yet another Hopslipper sticker. That's all there is to do in the harbor for now, so make your way out and then enter World 1-1.

World 1

World 1-1: Warm Fuzzy Plains

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Worn-Out Jump
    • Eekhammer
    • Hammer
    • Jump
    • Scissors (once only)
    • Worn-Out Hammer
    • Baahammer (x3)
    • Worn-Out Hammer (x2)
    • Hammer
    • Slaphammer (x3)
    • Eekhammer
    • Hammer
  • Scraps
    • Wooden Bridge
  • Things
    • Scissors

Upon entering, hit the Item Block to find a Shiny Hammer sticker, then get the Worn-Out Jump sticker if you want. Head along the path and fight the Goomba on the ledge, then get the Eekhammer sticker from the next Item Block. There's also a Hammer sticker on the left side of the northern fence, but it can be hard to notice at first. Keep going and peel the Jump sticker off of the sign, then read it if you want to know about defending yourself against attacks. Peel the Bowser sticker off the walls of the raised ledge ahead, revealing a secret room with lots of coins. Continue on and fight the enemies if you wish. Knock down the bush in between the two fences to reveal a Recovery Heart, which restores Mario's HP by 5 when you grab it.

On the next screen, walk towards the bridge and a Toad will scream for help and run into you, dropping a massive shiny sticker in the process! Once he runs off, make sure to sort your stickers (and drop any unneeded ones). To sort them, open up your album with X and press Start. To drop one, while in your album, select a sticker with A and choose "Toss". Once you have enough room, grab the rare Scissors sticker off the ground and a cutscene will start. Soon enough, you will now enter in a battle against...

BOSS: Bowser Jr.

  • HP: 20

This fight is basically just an excuse to test out your new sticker. He has 20 HP and you can damage him normally, but on each of his turns he'll always heal himself back to full health. So, don't waste your stickers and just use the Scissors. This will end the fight immediately. You'll also get a lot of coins if you got a Perfect Bonus!

Once the fight ends, Bowser Jr. will enter "paperize" mode and rip the bridge out, then crumple it and throw it on an unreachable ledge. Of course, since we're also paper, we'll inevitably find a way to get the bridge back. So let's get to it. Go all the way back to the first screen and you'll see some panicking Toads because of the Bowser Jr. sighting. Check behind the bushes for the bent-up Toad that dropped the Scissors earlier. He and the other Toads will follow you to where the crumpled bridge is to help you get it back. Head back to the bridge area and go north; they'll make a stairway off of each other for you to climb up to, allowing you to pick up the Wooden Bridge from the ledge! Once you get it, drop down and go to where the bridge's shadow is. Kersti will put you into paperize mode, which is where Mario gets suspended above the area and gets to place stickers and scraps in different places throughout the game. For now, select the Wooden Bridge and align it with the shadow, then place it and smooth it out to reform it. You can now enter paperization mode at any time by pressing Y. Head across the bridge and it's time to test it out on a normal sticker. Enter paperization and place any sticker into the box above the stump. It will create an Item Block, but I'm not entirely sure if the item you get is random or what. Head to the next screen.

Here, get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker and peel off the Bowser sticker to reveal an entrance. Head inside and you'll see giant scissors that are, in fact, not made of paper! Walk up to them and pick up the Scissors item, which goes into your "Things" category in your Sticker Album. Leave this small cave and hit the Item Block outside three times to get three Baahammer stickers. Head south and continue along the path two find two Worn-Out Hammer stickers and one Hammer sticker. Hit the Item Block ahead of you three times to get three Slaphammer stickers. Climb up the ledges and hit the next Item Block for an Eekhammer sticker. There's also another Hammer sticker on the sign. Go to the next screen now.

Get the Worn-Out Jump sticker here if you wish, then keep going and Kersti will point out to you the shiny star object on top of a ledge. It's a comet piece, which is part of the Sticker Comet, which we need the Royal Stickers to get, and these comets will help us lead to them. Or, they're just there to trigger the end of the level. Let's go with that. So, keep going and you'll hear a voice telling you to stop. It's those three Goombas you fought in Decalburg, and you have to fight them again, with the added bonus of them folding into cones. So just use Hammer stickers and no Jump ones, and they'll go down pretty fast. Once the battle ends, they'll run off...again. Now simply make your way to the comet piece and grab it to finish the level. Grab the coins that fall, too.

Let's head back to Surfshine Harbor for a moment, now that we can paperize.

    • Shiny Slaphammer
    • Worn-Out Jump
    • Eekhammer
    • Frog Suit
  • Scraps
    • Ship's Wheel
    • Warehouse Door
  • Things
    • Vacuum

The stickers here have respawned since last time if you want to get any of them again. That's not why we're here, though. Go to the right to find a weird-looking warehouse door and paperize yourself. Peel it off to get the Warehouse Door scrap, then place it back on properly and enter. In here, peel off the Hammer sticker and hit the Item Block for a Shiny Slaphammer sticker. Enter the nearby door and get the Worn-Out Jump sticker, then get the Eekhammer sticker from the nearby Item Block. Enter the door in front of you. Climb up the boxes in here to reach the Vacuum Thing, then head through the northeastern door to the other side. Get the Frog Suit sticker from the Item Block, then go into the next room to find an HP-Up Heart. Mario's total HP should now be 25. Now we can leave this place. Before we go on with the game, let's visit Decalburg again.

    • Fan
    • Cat-o-Luck
    • Shiny Leaf
    • Shiny Iron Jump
    • Jump
    • Hammer

Upon entering this place again, you'll notice a Toad pointing towards the western screen. Let's head there first. Speak to the Toad behind the counter, and you'll find out that he can do something with the Things you've been finding. The idea is to choose one of your Things to throw at the board, and it will become a useable sticker. So, you can now get another Scissors sticker, a Fan sticker, and a Cat-o-Luck sticker. Now backtrack to the Sticker Fest area and you'll find four stickers you can get that weren't there last time: a Shiny Leaf, Shiny Iron Jump, Jump, and Hammer. Sell the Shiny Leaf for 50 coins since that's the only thing it's used for. That's all there is to do here for now, so let's continue on with the game.

You'll immediately be welcomed to a new (but still common) enemy, the Koopa Troopa. Fight the one in front of you if you wish, then get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker. There's a Worn-Out Jump sticker to the north of that one, and inside the Item Block is an Eekhammer sticker. Jump on the ledge to the right and hit the left corner of it to reveal a hidden block, allowing you to peel off the Hopslipper sticker. Keep going and you'll see a sign. You can either take the path to the gardens, or go southeast and take a small detour. Let's do the latter.

In this area, get the Worn-Out Jump sticker and go east to a Worn-Out Hammer sticker on the bush. Hit the Item Block to find another Hopslipper sticker. Go slightly west and use your hammer to knock the bush down, revealing a Bowser sticker. Peel it off to uncover three steps leading up. Climb them up and get the Jump sticker along the way. At the top, hit the block near the Goomba to get a Slaphammer sticker. Continue along the path and you'll come across an Iron Jump sticker on a bush. Head to the next screen.

You'll immediately see a giant fan blowing wind to the other side of the screen. If you get caught in it, you'll get blown away from this platform and have to backtrack to it. So what do we do? It's simple: walk up to it and examine it and you'll obtain the Fan. Backtrack to the first screen of the level and take the upper path this time, now that the fan is gone. Talk to the crying Toad by the flower bed and he'll mention that his fiery and icey-looking flowers are all gone. Head north and at the top, go west through the bushes to reach a hidden area. This area has lots of coins, and an Item Block containing a Shiny Fire Flower sticker. There's also a Hopslipper sticker here.

Go back to the previous screen and head north. Here, hit the Item Block to get a Shiny Jump sticker, then hit the Recovery Block to heal yourself back to full HP if needed. Head along the path and you'll see a Toad getting picked on by two Goombas. Talk to one of them and they'll ask you to give them 20 coins if you want them to stop. Refuse both times, then you'll enter in a fight against them. They'll combine into a 2-Fold Goomba. Despite their boasting, they're no harder than ordinary Goombas, they just have a bit more HP. One well-timed Shiny sticker will get rid of them. Once they're beaten, the Toad will thank you by showing you a statue he found, but doesn't have any use for. Pick it up to get the Cat-o-Luck, then continue on to the next area.

Go south here and hit the middle of the weird-looking circle to flip over some flowers. Enter paperization mode and place a sticker there, then smooth it out to reveal an Item Block. Hit it to get an upgraded/better version of the sticker you placed. Now go east to another screen. Peel off the Jump sticker here, then the Worn-Out Hammer and Hammer, then the two Bowser stickers on the walls. This will reveal some coins, a Slaphammer sticker, and a Shiny Hopslipper sticker. Now go forward and you'll be stopped by more Goombas. They'll make a dramatic entrance and you'll have to fight five at once. Listen to what Kersti has to say, for you can now use the Battle Spinner! Depending on what kinds of pictures you match up, you'll get to use more stickers in a single turn. In each battle, you can spend coins to use it, and the more coins you spend, the better the chance of getting a jackpot.

After the battle, climb up the ledges and hit the Item Block to get a Recovery Heart. At the end of the path you'll find a Fire Flower sticker and an Ice Flower sticker on the bushes. You need both of them! Grab them, then head back a few screens to the flower garden. Enter paperization mode, and place your three flower stickers in the boxes (I put the Ice Flower in the middle and the two Fire Flowers beside it, but I don't think it matters). This will cause the flowers of the garden to bloom again, and the Toad will reward you with an HP-Up Heart! Some Ice Flower and Fire Flower stickers will also be given to you; be sure to pick up the shiny ones, if nothing else. Go back three screens to the area where you got the Fire and Ice Flowers, then head east to another screen.

Hit the Item Block ahead to get three Slaphammer stickers. There's also a Worn-Out Hammer sticker, and a Jump sticker further ahead. You'll also find an Item Block containing a Shiny Fire Flower sticker, and an Ice Flower sticker on the wall. At the end of the path in this area is the comet piece; touch it to finish the level!

    • Shell
    • Hammer
    • Iron Jump
    • Hurlhammer (x3)

    • Jump
    • Fire Flower (x2)
    • Shiny Shell
    • Shiny Mushroom
  • Scraps
    • Comet Piece
  • Things
    • Faucet

Start by going southeast to an Item Block at the end of the path. It contains a Fire Flower sticker. Peel off the Bowser sticker to the left to reveal a bridge, which leads to a platform with two flowers near the center. There's nothing to do there at the moment, so head back and jump up the ledges, getting the Jump sticker from the Item Block on the way up. There's also a Worn-Out Hammer sticker on the wall. On the top ledge on the far left wall, there's a hard-to-see Jump sticker. Go right and watch out for the Koopa Troopa, then get the Shell sticker out of another Item Block. On the ledge below that is a Hammer sticker. Cross the bridge to the right leading to the next screen.

Here, use the Recovery Block if needed and save your game at the Save Block. Continue forward and you'll hear a scream, then a Toad will run into you and say someone "crazy" was chasing him. He'll give you something to take off his hands; it's a third page for your Sticker Album! Continuing on, you'll see another scene introducing you to the wizard Kamek. As you probably expected, you now have to fight her.

BOSS: Kamek

  • HP: 20

Goomba

  • HP: 5 (each)

Save all of your Jump-related stickers for Kamek, since your current hammers cannot reach her. Once they're taken care of, go all out with your Jump attacks. This is a very easy fight and you can probably beat Kamek in one turn with a Shiny Jump sticker.

After the fight, she'll paperize the comet piece and throw it, causing it to fly off somehwere in this level. You didn't think it'd be that easy, did you? Go back and use the Recovery Block and save, then head right and north to two Item Blocks. There's also a hidden one in between them. They contain an Iron Jump, Hurlhammer (x3), and POW Block stickers. Once you get those, proceed to the next screen. Head west here and you'll see a Hammer sticker by the waterfall. Down the ledges to the right is an Item Block containing a Hopslipper sticker. Keep going along the path and hit the next Item Block you come across to get a Jump sticker. Walk behind the waterfall to get a few coins, then head west and get the Shiny Jump sticker. You can now continue going across to the left, or go south and take the left or right paths down some steps. Take the right path and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker, then hit the Item Block to get a Recovery Heart. Continue down and enter paperization, then place a normal sticker in the box and smooth it down. Hit the Item Block that appears to get a shiny version of the sticker you placed. Now head back up and continue west to the next screen.

Here, get the nearby Worn-Out Hammer sticker, then hit the Item Block for a Line Jump sticker. There's also a Shiny Hammer sticker on the wall ahead. You'll notice a comet sticker perched upon the water spout in the middle. We'll get to it in a minute. Head up the ledges and get the Hammer sticker along the way, then head right and get the Worn-Out Jump sticker. Get the Shell and Jump stickers from the two Item Blocks, as well. Peel off the Bowser sticker on the wall to reveal an opening; head inside and you'll see a water faucet pumping water in the Bowser statue. Head up the steps and jump on the valve, then jump again a few times to turn it, which turns off the water flow. The faucet will then break off and you'll obtain the Faucet Thing for yourself. Now head out of this area and head east to the next screen.

Here, hit the nearby Item Block for a Fire Flower sticker, then continue along the path and get another Fire Flower sticker at the end. Flip the nearby flowers over and stand in the middle, then jump to hit a hidden Item Block containing a Shiny Shell sticker. Now go back to the previous area and make your way down, then drop down either of the holes. Inside the cave, go west and pick up the Comet Piece, then smash the puddle it was next to to flip it over. Peel off the Shiny Mushroom sticker and leave. Now you should head all the way back to the screen where you fought Kamek. There, cross the bridge and enter paperization mode. Place the Comet Piece into the shadow and smooth it out to reform it, then grab it to finish the level. This unlocks World 1-4. But we're not done yet; there's a secret goal somewhere. Read on to discover its location.

World 1-3 Secret Goal

The location of this secret goal is pretty simple. Just head to the area with the waterfall, where the coins are located behind it. Go in front of it and drop down from the bridge to reach a secret room. The goal is in here. This will unlock World 1-5!

World 1-4: Hither Thither Hill

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Line Jump
    • Shell
    • Worn-Out Hammer
    • Jump (x2)
    • Hammer
    • Worn-Out Jump
    • POW Block
    • Shiny Line Jump
    • Jump
    • Mushroom (Decalburg, after rescuing the Toad)
    • Flashy Jump
    • Slaphammer
    • Leaf
  • Scraps
    • Green Warp Pipe

When you enter, hit the Item Block north of you to get a Line Jump sticker. Over to the right is another one containing a Shell sticker. Continue along the path and get the Worn-Out Hammer and Jump stickers. Notice the windmill in front of you, and the stump next to it. What you have to do is exchange the Fan Thing you got earlier for a Fan sticker in Decalburg; take it to the Toad on the westernmost screen. If you don't have it, go back and get it! Either way, enter paperization mode and place the Fan sticker there. This will cause it to appear in the background and blow the windmill, unblocking the door leading into it. Head inside and you'll see four blocks with numbers on them. There's a hint to this puzzle in Decalburg, but we might as well solve it ourselves now. The correct combination of numbers is "4123". Once you hit the blocks to make them say that, a pipe will appear. Before entering though, let's explore the rest of the level.

Back outside, head right and to the next screen. Here, get the Jump sticker on the wall ahead, then keep going and get the Hammer and Worn-Out Jump stickers. Before leaving the area, hit the tree in the corner a few times to get some coins from it. There's also a circle of flowers where you can paperize a sticker on to make an Item Block. Back on the previous screen, there are two pipes; enter the one on the right first. In this cave, you'll find a new enemy, the Buzzy Beetle. Defeat it if you wish, then hit the Item Block to get a POW Block sticker. Ignore the pipe shadow for now and keep going, and you'll be back outside. Get the Shiny Line Jump sticker here, then backtrack into the cave and through the pipe again. Now enter the pipe to the left.

In here, simply follow the narrow path to an Item Block containing a Jump sticker, then go through the pipe at the end. The Item Block out here has a Recovery Heart. Get the new Burnhammer sticker, as well as the Hammer, Line Jump, and Slaphammer stickers. Talk to the crying Toad and he'll want you to take him back to Decalburg, and will then join you. Go back through the pipe (don't jump over the fence or you'll have to go back and get him again), and make your way out of the cave. Fight the monsters along the way, because if you don't, he'll get scared and run back to his hiding place. Once you're back outside, take him to Decalburg and he'll tell you to meet him in his house (the center one on the eastern screen). Talk to him to get a Mushroom sticker, and he'll give you the hint to the puzzle we solved earlier. Go back to World 1-4 and enter the windmill. If you haven't yet solved the puzzle, do so now (read the first paragraph), then enter the pipe.

Down in this cave again, jump across the ledges (be careful not to fall!) and hit the Item Block for a Recovery Heart. At the end of the path, pick up the Green Warp Pipe scrap, then drop down and exit through the western pipe. Back outside, take the eastern pipe back into the other part of the cave you were in earlier. Go to the shadow of the pipe and paperize yourself, then place the Green Warp Pipe over it. Now you can enter it. Do so and head right, then a giant Buzzy Beetle will fall from the ceiling and you'll have to fight it.

BOSS: Big Buzzy Beetle

  • HP: 40

Finally a boss battle that can actually qualify as a legitimate boss battle, somewhat. You'll need a lot of Jump stickers for this fight. You'll want to use the Battle Spinner to get a match so you can use more than one sticker at a time. It's impossible to hurt him otherwise, because even if you flip him over, he'll get back up immediately on his turn. So, use two Jump stickers in a row: one to flip him over and one to damage him (use your weakest ones to flip him over, and strongest ones to damage him). He attacks by tackling you with his shell, but that's about it. You can also make quick work of him by using a Hopslipper sticker, since you can get several hits off before the attack ends. Don't forget that you have to use the Battle Spinner once per turn.

After the fight, he'll drop an HP-Up Heart! Go through the red pipe to reach the next area. Out here, hit the Item Block to get a Flashy Jump sticker, then get the Slaphammer sticker. Hit the blocks with your hammer and one of them will contain a Leaf sticker. Head down the steps to the right and you'll find the comet piece and finish the level!

  • NOTE: This level is accessed by finding the secret goal in World 1-3. Check World 1-3 Secret Goal to find out where it is.

There are Spinies in this level, which we haven't seen in the game until now. Start by getting the Worn-Out Hammer off the nearby wall, then hit the two Item Blocks to get a POW Block and Iron Jump sticker. Keep going up the path and up the ledges, then get the Hammer sticker and enter the next screen. Here, head right and get the Shell sticker from the Item Block. Keep going and you'll find a Lakitu enemy along the way; he throws Spinies constantly, so watch out. Get the Worn-Out Hammer, Hammer, and Iron Jump stickers on the way, as well. You'll come across a Power Star; touch it and you'll become temporarily invincible, and will kill any enemy you touch. Continue up the path and use the Recovery Block if needed, then head to the next screen.

Here, get the Worn-Out Jump and Worn-Out Hammer stickers, then hit the backside of the tree a few times to knock it down. Cross it and get the Shiny Hurlhammer sticker off the cloud. Continue and head to another screen. There's a Worn-Out Hammer sticker upon entering here. Go north and get the Hammer sticker, then get the Hurlhammer sticker out of the Item Block. Keep going and take the southern path, then hit another Item Block, which contains an Iron Jump sticker. Head south and peel off the Bowser sticker on the floor to create a shortcut, then keep going and get the Slaphammer sticker from an Item Block. Now hit the backside of the tree at the end until it falls, then watch a really cool scene as several things fall and spin, which ends up tossing a folded gate onto a platform in another area. Head back all the way north. You probably noticed that there are coins on a ledge you can't seem to reach. Head all the way right and jump on the brick, then look north and use your hammer to reveal a block. Jump on it and do the same thing again to create a stairway leading up to the platform.

Get the coins up here and the Shiny Leaf sticker, then go back south and cross the bridge you formed earlier. Head back two screens and go all the way south past the Spinies, then west to a tree. Knock it down and cross it, then pick up the White Gate scrap. Go back north to the previous screen and go to the shadowed gate. Paperize the White Gate onto it and it will open. Pass through and go left, then peel the Bowser sticker off the Toad. He'll thank you and tell you he's opening up a Sticker Shop just ahead. Here is what the shop sells:

Item Price
Jump 3 Coins
Hammer 3 Coins
Poison Mushroom 2 Coins
Mushroom 15 Coins
Fire Flower 20 Coins
Ice Flower 20 Coins

Later on he'll sell shiny versions of the flowers, for 30 coins each. Stock up on anything you may want here, then head to the next screen. Touch the comet piece to finish the level.

Kersti will say that she senses a Royal Sticker in the fortress. Head right and smash the Goombas with your hammer, then enter the fortress. Hit the yellow block in the middle to rotate the platform, then take the northern exit. Out here, save your game if you wish and peel the Bowser sticker off the floor near the bed of spikes. This uncovers a carpet that covers some of the spikes, but we can't cross just yet. Exit this screen and take the eastern door this time. Out here, you'll be spotted by some Goombas, who will begin launching Bob-ombs down at you. Hit the two Item Blocks for a Baahammer and Shell sticker. Follow along the path and get the Fire Flower and Ice Flower stickers along the way, then enter the next area (as a side note, Bob-ombs frequently drop Bomb stickers). In here, ignore the block for a moment and hit the Item Block to get a Spike Helmet sticker. Now hit the yellow block twice and take the right path, then hit the wall to open up a passage to a room full of coins, and another Item Block. It contains a Shiny Jump sticker. Now go back and take the northern path to the next screen.

Out here, as soon as you attempt to cross the bridge, you'll active some fans which will blow a swarm of Paragoombas your way. You'll also fall off. Down here, get the Jump stickers to the left and right, and the Spike Helmet sticker from the Item Block. Hit the block next to it to get a Line Jump sticker. There's also a Hopslipper sticker on the ledge to the right. Go under the bridge and paperize yourself, then stick any two stickers in the blocks (don't use up any of your more useful ones). This will stop the fans from blowing, allowing you to safely cross, so climb back up and cross the bridge. You have to be quick about it, though, because after around five seconds, the stickers will peel off. When you make it across, head along the path and hit the Item Block at the end to get a Poison Mushroom sticker, then enter the room ahead. Here, go all the way north and face the Item Block on the right. Hit the air to reveal a hidden block, then stand on it and repeat this to reveal more of them, creating a passage to it. It contains a Shiny POW Block sticker. Go back and hit the yellow block to rotate the platform, then go through the western door.

It's raining Bob-ombs again in this area. You have to lure them to the gates and let them explode on them to knock them down. Advance your way through the screen and get the Fire Flower sticker. The Item Block has a Hurlhammer sticker, and as you keep going you'll also find an Ice Flower sticker, along with another Fire Flower sticker. At the end, enter the door. In here, you'll notice the yellow block doesn't respond. Paperize yourself and notice that it's peeling off a bit. Hover over it and hold A to peel it off and get the Block Switch scrap. Paperize yourself again and then place it back on the shadow and smooth it out; now it's in the correct position and you can activate it. Do so and head south to another area.

Hit the Item Block here to get a Spike Helmet sticker, then peel the Bowser sticker off the floor nearby. If you did this at the other side earlier, this will cover the bed of spikes completely, allowing you to go to the Recovery Block and Save Block and cross the bridge. Heal/save, then cross the bridge and enter the next room. In here, you can power up one of your stickers by paperizing yourself and placing it into the block in the center of the room. Head up the spiral stairway in this room, and get the Jump and Slaphammer stickers from the Item Blocks along the way. There's a normal block coming up which contains another Jump sticker, and another Item Block that holds a Burnhammer sticker. Keep going and get the Hopslipper and Hammer stickers. You can also jump through one of the openings to find a Shiny Jump sticker on a wall, if you want to get it.

On the next screen, you'll notice a trumpet on the ground. Examine it to obtain the Trumpet Thing, then hit the Item Block to get a Recovery Heart, which will restore your health to full. Now head west and climb up the steps, then watch the scene. You'll be surrounded by a horde of Goombas and enter a boss fight.

BOSS: Megasparkle Goomba

  • HP: 90
  • Weakness: Fan

This boss has a total of 90 HP, but several different "forms". The HP is shared between each. Starting off, you'll be fighting the horde of Goombas. Unleash your strongest stickers on them, but do not jump on them unless you have the proper stickers. On their next turn, they'll combine into one giant shiny Goomba. In this form, it attacks by rolling itself up and tackling you, which can damage you quite a bit, so be careful (it may also just jump on you). It can also fold itself into a cone, rendering most Jump stickers ineffective. They can also "split" themselves into several square shapes, then hurl themselves at you three times for about 5 damage a pop (unless you guard). Make sure to use the Battle Spinner each turn, because you're gonna need it. Also, I hope you have a few spare Mushroom stickers. As soon as your HP starts to get around critical condition, heal. Overall, this is the hardest boss you've faced so far, but with enough preperation you should do just fine.

After you take off the 90 HP, every Goomba except the one wearing the Royal Sticker will run away. He'll attack you one last time in desperation; simply guard his attack and knock off the 1 HP with a Worn-Out Hammer sticker or something. The battle is then over.

As a side note, if you have the Fan sticker on-hand and use it on the boss, you'll reduce its HP and power by a lot, since it is weak to the fan. Every end-world boss has a weakness to a Thing sticker which I will list each time.

After the fight, the sparkly Goomba will drop the first Royal Sticker. Grab it to finish the level, and complete World 1. Yay! Enjoy the little storybook scene you get, then you'll get a fourth page added to your Sticker Album. Before we go on to the second world, let's head back to Decalburg for a quick visit.

Brief Detour #2: Decalburg

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Jump
    • Hammer
    • Shiny Leaf
    • Ice Flower

Head to the Sticker Fest to find the stickers listed above. You'll also notice it's been remodeled a bit. If you talk to the Toad by the flags, he'll tell you he's recorded certain achievements of yours on them. These are Super Flag Achievements, which I go into more detail about in that section. Aside from that, the shop is now selling Shiny Mushroom stickers, which restore your HP by 40. Now go to the sticker shop and buy the following: one Mushroom, one Hammer, one Jump, one Spike Helmet, and one Fire or Ice Flower. Then stock up on any others you may want, and it's time for World 2.

When you enter, get the Jump sticker off the wall, and the Hopslipper sticker from the nearby Item Block. Head along the path and you'll see a big door with sticker symbols on them. First get the nearby Worn-Out Hammer sticker. As I'm sure you've guessed already, you have to fill in the symbols on the door with the stickers representing them. So, make sure you have one Mushroom, one Fire or Ice Flower, one Hammer, one Jump, one Spike Helmet, and one Poison Mushroom (the Mushroom goes on the left one, and the Poison Mushroom on the right). This is why I told you to buy those specific stickers in Decalburg a moment ago. If you don't have a Poison Mushroom, you will unfortunately have to backtrack to World 1-5 and buy one from the Toad. After you correctly place all of the stickers on the door, it will open.

Inside, hit the Item Block to get a Spike Helmet sticker, then get the Slaphammer and Worn-Out Jump stickers off the wall. Go right and get the Jump sticker, then jump on the nearby ledge and fall down the pipe thing. In here, get the Shiny Jump sticker and the coins along the way, and at the end, jump to flip a piece of the floor over. Jump out and use that floor panel to reach the Item Block containing a Worn-Out Jump, Jump, and Hopslipper sticker. Now head right and outside to the next area. You'll see a Recovery Block and Save Block here, as well as a Sombrero Guy (whom I thought was an NPC, but is actually an enemy). Heal and save, then hit the backside of the cactus to get 10 coins from it. Get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker nearby as well. In the Item Block ahead is a Hammer sticker, as well as a Jump sticker on the wall. Keep following the path and get the Worn-Out Jump sticker. On your way down the hill, get the Hopslipper sticker off the wall and in the Item Block.

There's also an Eekhammer sticker on the rock near the end of the area. Climb up the nearby ledges and you'll see a Toad being harrassed by some Paragoombas. Attempt to speak to the Toad, and they'll offer to leave him alone for 25 coins, or you can fight them. If you fight them, they're accompanied by a Sombrero Guy and form into a 5-Fold Paragoomba. They have 40 HP and the Sombrero Guy will double their strength, so it can actually be a somewhat difficult battle. Use the Battle Spinner to make things easier (I used one Iron Jump and two Hopslippers). After the fight, as thanks, the Toad will give you a Shiny Mushroom sticker. Proceed to the next screen. Here, make the bush spin if you want some Recovery Hearts, then follow the path. On the quicksand, you have to continuously jump to avoid being sucked in. There are also some Pokeys here, should you wish to fight them.

Keep going and spin the cactus if you want 10 coins. Get the Jump sticker along the way, and hit the Item Block for an Iron Jump sticker. Now head up the hill nearby and get the Worn-Out Jump and Hammer stickers, then peel off the Bowser sticker to reveal an opening. Get the coins inside and go back east, then get the Eekhammer sticker. Go south and onto the quicksand, then head right to find an Item Block. Inside is a Hammer sticker, a Shiny Hammer sticker, and a Flashy Hammer sticker! Go north to the fallen pillar, and let yourself sink in enough to where you can squeeze through the opening. Hug the wall until you find a spot where you can peel off a Flashy Slaphammer sticker. Now make your way back onto solid ground and proceed to the next area, and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker along the way.

In this area, go south and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker, then go north and jump in between the two blocks to find a hidden one containing a Shiny Jump sticker. Head up the sandfall and spin the cactus on the way if you want some Recovery Hearts. Be careful of the Pokeys on the way up. Once you reach the top, get the Slaphammer and Worn-Out Jump stickers, then head directly south and down another side of the sandfall. Hit the Item Block for a Line Jump sticker, then spin the cacti if you want some coins. Go all the way right and hit the Item Block to get a Hurlhammer sticker. The Item Block in the group of blocks ahead contains a Shiny Hopslipper sticker. Head back west and go in between the two cacti, and let Mario sink fully into the quicksand. You'll fall into a hidden room. In here, get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker in front of you, then go right and hit the two Item Blocks for a Shiny Jump and Slaphammer sticker.

Now go back and continue west, then get the Hammer sticker and keep climbing up. Get the Jump sticker on the way, and at the top is another Hammer sticker. Go south and west from here, then paperize yourself and put a random sticker into the box (make sure it's useless, because you can't hit the block). Jump to the block and hit the Item Block in front of it to get a Worn-Out Jump. Now head back up and make your way to the golden chest in here, then open it to receive a Tablet Piece scrap. From here, head to the right and stand on the sand geyser. It will take you out of this secret room. Back outside, head east to a platform with an object stuck in the sand. Pull it out to get the Soda Thing. Now continue east and hit the cactus for a Recovery Heart, then go south and get the Slaphammer sticker. Continue to the next screen.

There are a bunch of stickers on the walls here. Climb up the pyramid and get the Worn-Out Jump and Hammer stickers. Continue climbing and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker, then get the Hopslipper sticker from the Item Block. Now go under the stairway to the other side of the pyramid and peel off the Worn-Out Hammer sticker. Drop down a few steps and get the coins, as well as the Hammer sticker. Now go back around to another side of the pyramid, and jump to the Item Block by the stairs. It contains a Slaphammer sticker. Make your way westward to yet another side of the pyramid and you'll probably notice the health upgrade in the distance. Jump on the ledge next to the stairway and then on the stairs to slide down, then jump to the platform on the left and grab the HP-Up Heart! Drop down and hit the Item Block in the sand for an Iron Jump sticker, then head around the eastern side of the pyramid. Climb your way up to a Worn-Out Jump sticker, then climb back up and drop down to the left and get the Jump sticker. Head under the stairs to the left and follow the path to an Item Block on the left, containing a Slaphammer sticker.

You can also find a Worn-Out Hammer along the walls of the pyramid, but I didn't get it and I don't feel it's worth guiding you directly to it. Feel free to get it if you wish, however. Now head back to the eastern side of the pyramid and climb your way back up, then collect the comet piece to finish the level. That was long!

Get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker upon entering, then head right and get the Jump sticker off the wall. Hit the Item Block for a Hopslipper sticker, then get another one on the wall to the south. Now enter the pipe to reach the next screen. Here, follow the path west and get the Eekhammer sticker out of the Item Block, and the Worn-Out Jump sticker off the wall. Head around the sphinx and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker to the right, and the Hammer sticker to the left. Keep going west around the other side of the sphinx and get the Jump sticker, as well as the Iron Jump sticker out of the Item Block. Near the end of the path is a Hammer sticker. From there go southwest to find a Hopslipper sticker, then enter the opening leading inside.

You'll immediately be greeted by two new enemies in this room: the Hammer Bros., and the Dry Bones. Wipe the enemies out because they'll really get in the way (and the Dry Bones will get back up!). After that, hit the Item Block three times to get a Hammer, Slaphammer, and Eekhammer sticker. Peel the stickers off the ground to get a Flashy Hopslipper, Shiny Line Jump, Iron Jump, Jump, and Hopslipper. Now hit the southern part of the raised wall (in other words, not the wall in the southeastern corner) to reveal a hidden passage. Defeat the Hammer Bro inside and get the Megaflash Hammer sticker off the wall! Head back outside and go back around to the front of the sphinx, then climb it up and go right. Get the Worn-Out Jump off the wall, then hit the two Item Blocks for a Hopslipper and Shiny Jump sticker. Now go west and into another part of the sphinx.

In here, hit the bottom of the top-right torch to activate it, then head to the next screen. Deactive both of the torches in this room and hit the center of the wall with your hammer to flip it over, revealing a path to another room. Get the Jump sticker in here, and the Shiny Hammer from the Item Block, then go through the northern passage and head east. Jump your way up and defeat the Sombrero Guy, then hit the wall with the Hopslipper sticker on it to make it fall. Go down and peel it off to get it, then head through the eastern door. Get the Worn-Out Hammer and Worn-Out Jump stickers here, then peel the Bowser sticker to reveal a Recovery Block. Use it, and take either door leading outside. Drop off the southern ledge here and you'll land on a platform with three Sombrero Guys, and an Item Block. It contains a Hammer sticker. Defeat the three Sombrero Guys to find an Iron Jump sticker behind them.

Drop down and go back inside the sphinx. Head east one screen and north another. Back in this room, go behind the eastern pillar and north to find a sort of secret door. In here, climb up the stairs and activate the torches to illuminate the room. Go on the flat surface and jump around until you hit a block. Enter paperize mode and place a sticker onto the square to create another block; hit it, grab the sticker, and use the two blocks as steps to reach the Item Block. It contains a Shiny Line Jump sticker. Now head to the next room. Out here, go west and you'll encounter three Paratroopas and will have to fight them. They only have 14 HP each, they're not too bad. Once you defeat them, peel off the sticker on the floor to form the rest of a staircase. Go back two rooms and head east two screens to reach it. Climb it up and ignore the comet piece for now; head to the western door, but don't go in it yet. Instead, head east a bit (but not off this platform), then north to slide down to an HP-Up Heart. Now climb your way back up to the comet piece and enter the westen door this time.

In here, go down the hallway and hit the platform with the lightbulb on it near the end of the path. Do it two more times to make it drop, then pick up the Lightbulb Thing. north, up the stairs to another room. Peel off the Jump sticker here, then go east from where you entered to find another room. Get the Hammer sticker, then hit the eastern wall until you find a secret passage. Hit the three Item Blocks inside to get a Jump, Hopslipper, and Shiny Jump sticker. Now head out of this small room and go to the left wall. Hit the ramps leaning up against it with your hammer to knock it down, then head up it and hit the yellow parts of the wall to reveal an opening. Go through either one. Out here, slide down Yoshi's nose to reach a golden chest. As you approach it, you find Kamek, and have to fight against him.

BOSS: Kamek

  • HP: 20

When the fight begins, Kamek will turn all of the stickers in your album into sandals. These only deal 1 damage per hit, but it's actually still an easy battle. Use the Battle Spinner to use more sandals in one turn, and time them properly to deal 5 points of damage per sandal. Kamek will probably fly up on his turn, making it where you can't reach him temporarily. However, this is a minor nuisance at best. Just block the magic attacks he throws at you, and he should go down pretty quickly.

After the fight, Kamek leaves and you get all of your stickers back. Open the front of the golden chest to get the Tablet Piece scrap. Back inside, hit the Item Block to get a POW Block sticker. Then, make your way back to the comet piece and this time, touch it to finish the level!

When you enter here, spin the nearby cactus for a coin. Keep following the path, and watch out for the spiked balls being thrown at you; you'll take damage if you get hit by them. Head right and down the steps at the bottom, into the quicksand. Get the Jump sticker, then head under the bridge and jump under the Item Block to reveal a hidden block. Now climb back up and head across the bridge this time. Fight the Spike enemies, then jump to the block you just hit to reach the Item Block, which contains a Line Jump sticker. Jump back across and head right, and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker. Hit the Recovery Block if needed, then go south and get the Hammer sticker. Now go down the stairs to reach the interior of the level. In here, start by heading west. Get the Jump sticker and then hit the Item Block for an Iron Jump sticker. Don't stand on the wooden floors for too long or they'll collapse, by the way. Head back east and keep going to reach an Eekhammer sticker, then wait until the sand geyser stops to cross over to an Item Block containing a Slaphammer sticker. Now stand on the wooden floor on the western side until it breaks, causing you to fall down to a lower floor.

Here, peel off the Slaphammer sticker and go west. Drop down the wooden bridge to the lower floor and peel off the Jump sticker here. Now enter the nearby door. In this room, open up the first coffin you see, and peel off the mummy bandages to find a POW Block sticker. The next coffin contains a Sombrero Guy. Hit the Item Block to get an Iron Jump sticker. The Item Block across from that one contains three stickers: a Baahammer', Burnhammer, and Chillhammer. Watch out for the Dry Bones, too. Open the other two coffins to find more bandages; one contains a Recovery Heart and the other one contains 10 coins. Now head east and through the door on the wall. In here, get the Hurlhammer and Hopslipper stickers, then drop down and get the Line Jump sticker from the Item Block. Peel off the Hammer and Jump'' stickers as well, then head to the next room.

There are more coffins and such here. The first one contains a Hopslipper sticker under some bandages. The second one contains a Recovery Heart. Hit the shadow under the Item Block with your hammer to reveal a hidden block for you to stand on, then get the Iron Jump, Hopslipper, and Line Jump stickers from it. The other Item Block has an Ice Flower sticker inside. The next coffin contains an HP-Up Heart! The last coffin contains an Eekhammer sticker in the bandages. Now leave this room through the southwestern exit. Out here, go west and get the Worn-Out Jump sticker, then head east and jump on the Spike enemy (don't hammer him or you'll fall down). Defeat it and hit the Item Block for a Shiny Hammer sticker. Now drop down the wooden floor to reach a lower area, then go east and use the sand geyser to get back outside. We're gonna take another path in the ruins this time. Enter the ruins and drop down the eastern floor panel.

Go west and hit the Item Block for a Hopslipper sticker, then head east and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker. Enter the door nearby. In here, open the closed coffin to find some bandages; peel them to find a Jump sticker. Hit the nearby Item Block for a Line Jump sticker, then open the next coffin to find a hidden door behind it. Don't bother with the last one; it just has a Dry Bones inside. Go through the hidden door. Here, pick up the Magnifying Glass Thing, then go back two screens. Back in the main area, fall down the wooden panel nearby. Now drop down the nearby floor and enter the door this time. In here, head east and down the steps. Walk under the Bowser sticker and jump around to reveal some hidden blocks, which create a path for you. Walk across them and peel off the tape to reveal a small room with three stickers: a Shiny Jump, Hammer, and Frog Suit sticker. Head all the way south to exit this room.

There's nothing here but a couple enemies. Defeat them if you wish, then go back two screens and use the sand geyser to exit. Enter the ruins again and drop down the eastern floor yet again (I'm sorry I've made you go back to the same place twice; this level is terrible and I got confused). Now go left and drop down that floor, then stand on the wooden floor nearby to fall down to a lower room. Hit the Item Block for a Line Jump sticker, then pass the sand geyser to the west and pick up the Jackhammer Thing. Now use the sand geyser to exit the ruins...again. Re-enter them, and this time go down the right slide, then the right slide again, then the left one. Now, go west and get the Worn-Out Jump sticker, then break the floor panel to fall down the shaft. Go east and enter the door at the top of the steps.

In here, open the first two coffins and peel the bandages to get two Shiny POW Block stickers, then open the next one and unwrap the bandages to find the Bat Thing. Get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker in the one that's already open, then go back to the far west and jump on the fallen coffin. Use it to cross over to the other side, then get the Jump sticker and head to the next room. Cross the quicksand in this room and watch out for the falling Dry Bones. At the end, you'll finally come to the comet piece that will end the level! This unfortunately only unlocks 2-5. There's a secret goal in here, which means...you have to go back. =( Don't worry, though, it won't take long.

World 2-3 Secret Goal

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Shiny Jump
    • Eekhammer
    • Worn-Out Hammer
    • POW Block
    • Jump
    • Baahammer
    • Shiny Jump

Enter the ruins and go down the right slide twice, and the left slide twice to reach a door. Enter it. In this room, climb up the stairs until you reach the two walls. There's an opening in the right side; head there and get the Shiny Jump, Eekhammer and Worn-Out Hammer stickers, then go right and jump into the coffin on the floor. Down here, open the middle coffin for a POW Block sticker in the bandages, then open the one on the left (the one on the right has a Dry Bones). Go through the passage in the left coffin to reach a Jump sticker. Now go through the opening in the wall to drop down to another coffin. Open it to release some sand, which will fill up the bed of spikes on the left, allowing you to access a Baahammer sticker from the Item Block. Now, go back to the entrance and paperize yourself, then place a random sticker in the box. Jump to it and hit the air with your hammer to find another block, then jump to that one and hit the Item Block for a Shiny Jump sticker. Finally, climb all the way up the steps to reach the comet piece, then touch it to unlock World 2-4! Now this level is over at last.

First, though, we have to head back to Surfshine Harbor, so let's pay a quick visit. Make sure you also exchange the Lightbulb Thing for its sticker (and if you don't have it, it's found in World 2-2; check the walkthrough for its location).

Brief Detour: Surfshine Harbor

Item Checklist

  • Scraps
    • Ship's Wheel

Enter the nearby warehouse and go downstairs. You'll be in a dark basement. Paperize yourself and place the Lightbulb sticker onto the box to illuminate the room, revealing a sleeping Toad and a scrap. Talk to the Toad to wake him up, then he'll move out of your way. Pick up the Ship's Wheel scrap, then leave the warehouse. That's all there is to do here; go back to Decalburg and turn the Vacuum and Faucet Things into stickers, then let's move onto World 2-4.

World 2-4: Damp Oasis

Item Checklist

  • Scraps
    • Tablet Piece
  • Things
    • Shaved Ice

  • NOTE: This level is accessed by finding the secret goal in World 2-3. Check World 2-3 Secret Goal to find out where it is. Also, you need the Vacuum and Faucet stickers for this level.

You'll immediately notice that a sandstorm is blowing you across the screen, and you can barely see anything. Simply head all the way west, past a Toad until you come to the tornado. Paperize yourself and place the Vacuum sticker onto the box. This will cause it to suck up the tornado, as well as the comet piece, which it will spit back out. Now the sandstorm is gone and we can safely proceed through the level. Don't bother going around the area unless you just want to fight the Pokeys, since there's nothing of interest. Instead, go north from where you used the Vacuum to the oasis area. Here, speak to the Toad if you wish, then go north to the huge blue pot. Paperize the Faucet sticker onto it and it will refill the oasis, and the place will look normal again! Now enter the nearby building, and open the cabinet doors on the right to find a chest. Open it to get another Tablet Piece scrap; this is the last of the three you need. Now head up the stairs and on the bed, then pull the switch to open the window. Head out and to the left.

Jump up the steps here to find a Shaved Ice Thing. Once you have that, jump off the building and leave the oasis. Back here, go slightly west to find the comet piece and end this really short level.

  • Scraps
    • Stone Entry
    • Tower Outer Wall

  • NOTE: You need the three Tablet Pieces (found in World 2-1, 2-2, and 2-4 respectively) to proceed in this level.

Head east upon entering and up the steps. Paperize yourself and place the tablet pieces on the shadow. It's hard to describe which ones need to go where, but it's not too hard to figure out. Once all three have been properly placed, a giant temple opens up! Jump back up the steps and head inside. Start by going west and getting the Worn-Out Hammer sticker, then head west and around the walls to a Jump sticker. Keep going around the walls to find a Hopslipper sticker, then go to the opposite end of the wall for a Slaphammer sticker. Go around the wall again to find a Worn-Out Jump sticker. Now go back to the right and around the wall to where you saw the red door. You can see the hints on how to solve this puzzle by looking at the hieroglyphs on the temple walls. One of them has a Toad holding a Jump sticker, and the other a Hammer. Paperize yourself and place a normal Jump sticker on the left, and a normal Hammer sticker on the right. This will open the door.

Inside, you'll see an elevator in the middle. Hit the two Item Blocks first to get a Shiny Jump and Shiny Hammer sticker, then take the elevator up to the next floor and proceed to the next room. Go right in here and get the Hammer sticker, then follow the path to some sand and get the Spike Helmet sticker from the Item Block. Now let yourself sink into the sand enough to where you can squeeze through the small opening under the spikes (but not enough to suffocate under it!), to reach a Stone Entry scrap and two Item Blocks. They contain a POW Block and Line Jump sticker. Get the Fire Flower sticker off the wall as well. Now go back through the sand to the other side. At this point, the Goomba and Koopa Troopa murals will come to life and attack you. Kind of creepy. *shrugs* Head west and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker, then follow the sandy path and avoid the spike traps. Watch out for the spiked balls being thrown your way, too!

Once you make it across, defeat the enemies if you want, then keep following the path. Get the Jump sticker, and at the end of the path is an Eekhammer sticker. Go back to the purple shadow and paperize the Stone Entry scrap to create a door there. Head inside. Get the Baahammer and Spike Helmet stickers from the Item Blocks here, then ascend the elevator and continue to the next room. Go right here and get the Worn-Out Jump sticker, as well as the Hammer sticker at the end. Go west this time and you'll come to some sand; cross it to the other side. Fight or ignore the enemies and keep heading west to a Worn-Out Hammer sticker on the wall. You'll come to another door similar to the one you saw in the first room, only there are three squares this time. Ignore it for now and keep going; you'll come to a Burnhammer sticker. On the other side are some Paratroopas and more sand.

Get on the fallen pillars and peel off the Spike Helmet sticker, then paperize yourself and choose a sticker to power up in the box. Jump to the block and then to the Line Jump sticker, then drop down and get the upgraded sticker out of the Item Block you just created. Now, head back to the door with the three squares and put a Hammer sticker on the left, a Spike Helmet sticker in the middle, and a Jump sticker on the right to open it. Inside, get the Burnhammer and POW Block stickers from the Item Blocks, then ascend the elevator. There are a crapload of Buzzy Beetles in this room; ignore them or smash them with your hammer and continue onto the next room. Here, go west and exit through the southern door. Outside, head right and hit the Item Block for a Slaphammer sticker, then head back through the door you just came out of.

Back here, go north and then south through the door you'll come to. Out here, go left and hit the Item Block for a POW Block sticker, then keep going and get the Hammer sticker, and hit the Item Block for a Burnhammer sticker. Go back around to the eastern side and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker. It's Luigi in the window! You can grab hold of him and pull him out in paperizing mode, and he'll run off. Now go back inside the temple and head west to reach a seemingly dead end. Drop down to the hole in the wall and go through to the other side, then keep following the path until you reach two Spikes. Defeat them and get the Iron Jump sticker, then hit the Item Block to get an Ice Flower sticker. Head west past the door, to a POW Block sticker on the pillar. Now head through the door and you'll be outside again.

Head right and get the Jump sticker, then keep going until you reach a cliff. Paperize yourself and peel off the Tower Outer Wall scrap, then paperize it back onto the wall to place it correctly. This will cause some sand to spew out. Now head back to the pipe near the door we came out here from, and head in. Inside, go left and hit the wall to create a shortcut. Go back through the pipe and into the temple again. Back inside, go right and around the wall once, then into the door that you couldn't access before. Hit the Item Blocks in here to get the Chillhammer and Shell stickers, then use the elevator. Go through the door to yet another set of hallways. Start heading west around the walls and get the stickers along the way. They are a Worn-Out Hammer, Shell, Hurlhammer, Fire Flower, and Worn-Out Jump. Once you've gotten those, head to the door we have to place stickers on. A Fire Flower goes on the left hand, and a POW Block on the right. With these stickers placed, the door opens. Go through.

Hit the Recovery Block in here and save your game at the Save Block, then take the elevator up. You'll see the Royal Sticker in plain sight here. Attempt to grab it, and out comes...

BOSS: Tower Power Pokey

  • HP: 300
  • Weakness: Bat

This will be a really tough battle if you don't have a Bat sticker. He has 300 HP, and if you use the Bat at the right point in the battle, you can reduce a good majority of his HP. This boss has loads of Defense, and he hits really hard if that weren't enough. Use the Battle Spinner like you never have before! At first he'll only start with his head out, so use either Jump or Hammer stickers on him. On his next turn, he'll pop one part of his body out of the ground. At this point, you cannot hit him with hammers. He can attack by spinning at you with his body, or by falling on you. With only one part of his body out, the latter can't hit you, but he can do the former regardless of the situation. Make sure to block his attacks as much as possible. He can also be crumpled with POW Blocks, so keep that in mind, and he can also crumple you if he lands on you. You do not want this to happen.

Eventually he will start summoning regular Pokeys to assist him. These can be taken care of quickly with Shell stickers. Shells will also knock the boss' body parts down. If you have the Bat sticker, let all four of his body segments attach themselves, then use the Bat. Press A as it swings back to get an "Excellent". Do this for each segment and you'll drastically reduce its HP and weaken its defense for a couple turns. Now use the Battle Spinner and go crazy with Shiny/Flashy stickers until you finish him off. Without the Bat, this fight is extremely difficult.

Once you win, watch the scene and you'll get another page added to your Sticker Album! Grab the Royal Sticker and we're finished with World 2. Let's head to the third world now. Turn your Trumpet into a sticker before you go.

  • NOTE: You need the Trumpet sticker to get through this area. Make sure you have it!

When you enter, go right and get the Slaphammer sticker from the Item Block. Keep following the path and get the Jump and Worn-Out Jump stickers, then you'll see a new enemy: the Snifit. Fight it if you wish, then get the Hammer sticker off the tree. Go west of that tree to reach an Item Block sort of hidden by the other trees, which contains an Iron Jump sticker. Now head to the next screen. Here, get the Jump amd Worn-Out Jump stickers, and you'll notice a sleeping Wiggler. Paperize yourself and place the Trumpet into the block. This will wake it up, and instead of getting angry like most Wigglers do, he'll tell you that the forest is poisoned and ask you to follow him to his home. Go behind the bush near where he was sleeping and get the Hammer sticker, then follow the path and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker before heading to the next screen. Here, get the Worn-Out Jump sticker and keep going to find the Wiggler. While he's talking, he'll be grabbed by...something. When you regain control, head right and get the Burnhammer sticker from the Item Block, then the Worn-Out Hammer on the tree to the north. Be careful not to touch the poisonous water puddles; they'll damage you.

Jump across the logs to the north to reach an Item Block containing a Shiny POW Block sticker, then get the Worn-Out Jump sticker as well. You can get the Hammer and Jump stickers off the logs if you don't mind taking some damage. At the end of the screen is another Hammer sticker. Now head to the next area. Here, there's a Worn-Out Jump sticker to the north, but you have to jump in the poison to get it, so I don't recommend it. There's a rotating log in the middle of the poisonous pond; wait until it floats to you, then jump to it and hit the Item Block for a Shiny Hurlhammer sticker. When it floats north, jump to the platform at the end and get the Line Jump sticker from the Item Block. Jump back to the log you were just on and then jump to the one south of it. It will take you across to another platform; jump to it, then head north and go west to reach a Bowser sticker. Peel it off to free the log and get it moving. Hit the Item Block it takes you to for a Shiny Fire Flower sticker, then jump to the log south of you and go back to the eastern paltform again. There's also a Jump sticker on the bush to the north, but again, I don't recommend you get it.

You'll see a rotating log in the middle. Jump to it and try not to fall to reach the other side. To the north is a hazardous Hammer sticker you can grab if you want. Get the Jump sticker off the tree and head to the next area. Here, jump across the platforms to the middle platform, then use the Recovery Block and save your game at the Save Block. You can place a random sticker into a box in between those two if you paperize yourself to get another sticker from it. Jump to the platform ahead and watch out for the boomerangs being thrown at you from the background; they can knock you off the ledge if you get hit! Jump to the moving platform when it comes to you, then jump to the platform at the end. At this point, the Boomerang Bros. will come out of hiding and you'll have to fight them. They're kind of dangerous, since their attacks will hit you twice in one throw. Normal Hopslipper stickers have no effect, either.

Use the Battle Spinner to make it easier, then use some decent Jump and Hammer stickers until they go down. When you beat them, head right and touch the comet sticker to end the level!

When you enter here, simply head right and go up to the next screen. There are two Snifits by a sign here. Defeat them if you wish, then get the Jump sticker off the sign. You have to take the correct path in these woods or you'll end up back at the entrance. Take the northeastern path first. Here, you'll encounter a Piranha Plant. Go right and peel off the Jump sticker, then hit the Item Block nearby to get a Shiny Line Jump sticker. Get the Worn-Out Hammer and Hammer stickers off the trees as well, then take the northwestern path. In this area, take the Hammer sticker, then go to the tree directly opposite of that one and get the Shiny Jump sticker. Now take the northeastern path. Here, peel the Shell sticker off the tree on the left side, and if you want, jump in the pool of poison to an Item Block containing a Burnhammer, Baahammer, and Chillhammer sticker. Get the Jump sticker off the tree on the right, then go behind the sign on the left and peel off the Hammer sticker. Take the northeastern exit.

Get the Iron Jump and Jump stickers off the trees ahead, then get the Line Jump sticker off the tree on the right. Flip over the circle of flowers and paperize yourself, then put a sticker you want to upgrade in the box, and collect the sticker from it. Head through the northeastern exit yet again. Here you'll find a crapload of stickers. They are a Hammer, Slaphammer, Fire Flower, Ice Flower, POW Block, Eekhammer, Hopslipper, Jump, Line Jump, and Hurlhammer. You probably can't carry all of it, so get whatever you wish and go back two screens. At the area with three paths and three signs, take the northern exit. Here, get the Shiny Hammer and Line Jump stickers, then go north and get the Jump sticker. Further north are three spots where you can upgrade your stickers. Do so, then take the western path to the next screen. Hit the Item Block here for an Ice Flower sticker, then take the northern exit. You'll see the comet sticker here; touch it to end the level. That was short and boring.

World 3-3: Wiggler's Tree House

Item Checklist

  • Things
    • High Heel
    • Boom Box

At the start, hit the Recovery Block nearby and head inside the tree. Here, go up the path to the top of the room, then hit the fireplace with your hammer and jump in. You'll land on the top table. Examine the heels to knock it down, then pick it up to get the High Heel Thing. Now go back to the top of the room and proceed to the next screen, then head up and to the next room. Examine the radio in here to knock it down. Pick it up to get the Boom Box Thing. There's a diary of sorts on the stump in the middle, but it's empty. Head southwest to leave the room, then peel off the sticker to the left to activate an elevator which takes you to the bottom. Take it back up, then head up the path to the next screen. You will see the Wiggler here, but he's missing his body! Apparently a bunch of Bloopers took him and threw him here, and Kamek removed his body pieces and scattered them across this world. Now we have to search for them, so touch the only comet piece you can reach here to open up World 3-4.

When you enter, you'll see a Wiggler segment run across the screen. Head right and peel off the Eekhammer sticker, then hit the tree to the north to make a Hammer sticker fall out. Hit the Item Block to get a Jump sticker, then hit the next tree a few times to make the Wiggler segment fall out (which will then run off), as well as another Jump sticker. Now continue along the path and hit the last tree until a Leaf sticker falls out, then head to the next screen. Here, go south and you'll spot the Wiggler segment again. Jump across the lilypads, then to the platform to the north. Use the Recovery Block and get the Iron Jump sticker on the bushes behind the big log. Head right and then south and you'll see an Eekhammer sticker on a small platform in the poisonous pond. Get it if you wish, then head west in the pond and hit the two brick blocks to get a Line Jump and Hurlhammer sticker. Get back on safe ground and hit the southernmost tree to make a Leaf sticker fall out. The tree north of that one has a Jump sticker in it. Head right and hit the Item Block to get a Line Jump sticker, then hit the tree near it to knock out the Wiggler segment. Keep hitting it until a Billiard Ball Thing pops out! Now head through the eastern exit.

Hit the Item Block here to get a Hurlhammer sticker, then go south and jump down the fence to reach a Fire Flower sticker. Jump off to the right and ignore the comet piece for a moment. Go east of it and jump up the ledges, and you'll notice an orange thing behind the bush. Whack the ground near it to reveal the Wiggler segment, causing it to run off again. Now go back and get your comet piece. However, now we have to go back and get the Wiggler segment! Enter the level again; time to end this chase.

When you enter the level, go all the way east to the end of the screen. Hammer the bushes (the ones that don't fall down) and one of them will have the Wiggler segment in it. It will then follow you. Since you haven't officially finished the level yet, you have to walk out manually, so just take the western exit. On the world map, it will run away to World 3-5. Welp.

World 3-5: Loop Loop River

    • Baahammer
    • Hopslipper
    • Jump
    • Hammer
    • Shiny POW Block
    • Shiny Hurlhammer

    • Eekhammer
    • Shiny Fire Flower

Hit the Recovery Block when you enter. There are a bunch of Snifits in the center pool of poison. Ignore them and head east two screens. Here, follow the path to the end, where you'll find an Iron Jump sticker and an Item Block containing a Baahammer sticker. Go back west one screen, then head across the bridge here. Get the Hopslipper, Jump, and Hammer stickers off the walls, then get the Shiny POW Block sticker from the Item Block. Now head through the door leading to the next room. Go up the steps here and through the door. In this area, hit the small tree stump ahead and a leaf will fall into the poison. Jump on it and it will take you across the pond and out of this area. When it takes you to the southwestern platform, jump to it, and jump up to two Item Blocks containing a Shiny Hurlhammer and Shell sticker. Get the Fire Flower and Eekhammer stickers, then peel the Bowser sticker off the floor to create a path to a door. Hit the next Item Block for a Shiny Fire Flower. There's a Jump sticker underneath this platform, but I wouldn't bother with it. Proceed through the door.

Out here again, get the Slaphammer sticker and walk up to the Wiggler segment. Kersti will offer it to come with you, but it insists on fighting you instead. Just bash its 15 HP and after the battle, it will feel remorse and start following you. Drop down the ledge on the right and get the Slaphammer, Jump, and Hammer stickers, then hit the tree to the south to make another leaf fall. Now touch the comet piece to end the level! For now. First, go to World 3-3 and go to the top of the treehouse to return the segment to the Wiggler. Go back to World 3-5 now if you want to get the secret goal.

World 3-5 Secret Goal

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Hammer
    • Jump
    • Shiny Iron Jump
    • Hopslipper
  • Scraps
    • Tree Stump

Ride the first leaf to the first screen of the level. When it bumps into the small log in the poison, jump around to hit two hidden blocks. After hitting the second tree near the first comet piece, get on it (it's on the edge of the river) and let it carry you to the northern room again. There, let it take you to the northwestern platform, then jump to it and go through the door. Get the Hammer and Jump stickers off the wall, then hit the Item Block to get a Shiny Iron Jump sticker. Further west lies a Hopslipper sticker. Jump across the blocks to the center platform, then pick up the piece of folded paper to get the Tree Stump scrap. Paperize yourself and power up a sticker of your choice in the block, then head to the next area and grab the comet piece. This "unlocks" 3-2, which you've already been to, and also completes the level. But you need that Tree Stump to open up a new level; paperize it onto a stump in 3-3 where the Wiggler is, then grab your comet piece. This unlocks World 3-7.

World 3-6: Outlook Point

Item Checklist

  • Things
    • Fishhook

This isn't really much of a level; more of a town-like area. Hit the Recovery Block and save your game at the Save Block, then jump up the ledges to the northwestern corner. A Toad here will show you a shipwreck in the water with a poisonous trail leading to it. Now head back to the right and you'll find a Sticker Shop. For now, he's selling Big Shiny Jumps and Big Shiny Hammers, but he's also selling new Secret Door stickers. You've probably noticed the little door markings throughout the game. These are where you place the Secret Door stickers, and they lead to rooms full of useful stickers. For more information, check the Secret Doors section of the guide. To test it out, buy one and head directly south to a dead end. Paperize yourself and place the Secret Door sticker in the box, then enter it. Head west in the cave and get the Fishhook Thing!

Now leave and head through the door at the northeastern corner. You can exchange your Things for stickers here if you wish. Whenever you're ready, head back to the World Map. Make sure you have the Tree Stump scrap, then take it back to Wiggler's home in 3-3 and place it in the leftmost stump. Grab the comet piece to unlock the next level.

World 3-7: Rustle Burrow

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Various (the stickers on the walls and floors are the ones you drop)
    • Shiny Jump
    • Fire Flower
    • Poison Mushroom
    • Baahammer
    • Flashy Hammer
    • Line Jump
    • Shiny Hurlhammer
    • Iron Jump
    • POW Block
    • Shell
  • Scraps
    • Burrow Door

When you enter here, go right and you'll see the next Wiggler segment. It will run off to some cobweb in the middle and tear it up, causing it to fall down the hole. Follow it down there, and on your way down you'll lose your hammer, and every one of your stickers! Well, that's not cool. Kersti will wake you up, who is kidnapped by a spider. When you regain control, go left and get the sticker off the wall. There's two more to the right. Once you have them, enter the next room. In here, get the Starman in the middle and go crazy, killing every single spider in the area. Once you're clear, peel off every sticker on the floor and the walls, then hit the Item Block to get a Shiny Jump sticker. Go through the northern door.

Watch out for the Scuttlebugs in here. Do not use any Hammer stickers; they'll be wasted because you're hammerless. Peel the stickers off the floors and walls, then hit the Item Block for a Fire Flower sticker. Head all the way towards the eastern door and a Big Scuttlebug will ambush you! It has 16 HP and stands on a web for the battle. Use a few stickers on the web to destroy it, then proceed to kill the spider. It's not too hard, but remember not to attempt to use any Hammer stickers. After the battle, go through the door. Get more stickers off the floor here, then go through the eastern door. In here, jump on the center of the web until it tears, then you'll fall down to a lower level of the cave. You'll find Kersti! Peel her off at her request, then you'll fall down to the very bottom and she'll rejoin you. Take all of your stickers here and leave.

In here, go west and get all the stickers off the floors and walls, then get the Poison Mushroom sticker from the Item Block. Continue up the ledges and head to the next room. Hit the Item Block here for a Baahammer sticker, then get all of your stickers off the ground and go back to the previous room. Jump up the western ledges and touch the door that's peeling off to get a Burrow Door scrap. Paperize yourself and replace the door, then go through. In here, hit the two Item Blocks to get a Flashy Hammer and Line Jump sticker. Head to the next screen, and at the end of the path, you'll find your hammer! Now you can finally use Hammer stickers again. Drop off this ledge and hit the Item Block with it to get a Shiny Hurlhammer sticker, then go east one screen and south another. Go to the far eastern side of this screen and break the brick blocks to find an Item Block containing an Iron Jump sticker. Now go back one room and north another.

Back in this room, go north and heal at the Recovery Block again, then hit the web with your hammer until you tear it, freeing another Wiggler segment, which will join you! Hit the Item Block for a POW Block sticker, then jump to the highest block in the corner and jump again to hit a hidden Item Block, containing a Shell sticker. Head east one more room, and in here, tear the web with your hammer, then touch the comet piece to finish the level! The Wiggler segment will run off to it, so make chase.

    • Jump
    • Iron Jump

    • Eekhammer
    • Fire Flower
    • Hurlhammer
    • Worn-Out Hammer
    • Worn-Out Jump
  • Scraps
    • Tree Stump

As soon as you enter, you'll see the Wiggler segment that just ran off. It's stuck to a web. Head along the path and you'll come to two bricks in the water. There's nothing inside them, but across from it is an Item Block containing a Shiny Line Jump sticker. Hit the Item Block north of that for a Line Jump sticker, then get the Jump sticker on the wall to the north if you want (though you'll have to take some damage of course). There's also a Hammer sticker back over to the west. Head to the eastern end of the screen and get the Jump sticker, then head to the next area. Here, go north through the poisonous waters to an Item Block containing a Line Jump sticker. Go back across and head right. On the other side of the eastern pond is a Jump sticker. Get it, then head west into a secret room with an HP-Up Heart. Leave, then go back south and hit the Item Block hovering above the web to get an Iron Jump sticker. Continue onward to some lilypads. Hop across them and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker. At the end, on the wall, is a Worn-Out Jump sticker. You can also paperize a sticker to power up one of your stickers if you wish. Head back west and go north to a Recovery Block; use it! Also, Snifits bathing in a spa of poison. Yeah.

Now head up the tree, and after the first path, jump off the northern side to reach an Item Block containing an Eekhammer sticker. Now go back up the tree and follow the path to a web. Hit the blocks north of it to get a Fire Flower sticker from the Item Block. You'll undoubtedly be ambushed by Scuttlebugs while you attempt this. Once you've gotten it, jump on the web until it tears, then you'll fall down to a platform below it. Hit the Item Block to get a Hurlhammer sticker, then head west and up the path to the next screen. Keep going west here and get the Worn-Out Hammer sticker, then free the Wiggler segment by tearing the web and it will fight you. Once you defeat it, it will begin to follow you. Continue up the path and get the Worn-Out Jump sticker, and at the end of the path you'll find your second Tree Stump scrap! Backtrack to the area with the Recovery Block now. Use it after the short scene, then head up the tree again. Fall down the gap at the top and jump up to the ledge at the north. Head behind the bush and go north to another screen. There, follow the path up the tree to the next area, then touch the comet piece to end the level.

In order to unlock World 3-9, you need to get the Tree Stump scrap in 3-8, which you should already have. Take the Wiggler segment back to 3-3, then paperize the stump onto its proper location. Touch the comet piece and you will unlock 3-9!

World 3-9: Gauntlet Pond

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Eekhammer
    • Hammer
    • Jump
    • Hopslipper
    • Slaphammer
    • Jump
    • Fire Flower
    • Ice Flower
    • Hurlhammer
    • Hopslipper
    • Hammer
    • Line Jump
  • Things
    • Sponge

You'll spot another Wiggler segment upon entering. It's on a currently unreachable platform. Head north and up the ledges, then jump on the swinging platform and jump to the center stump. Peel off the Eekhammer sticker, then use the next swinging platform to reach the other side of the screen. Go south and get the Hammer sticker, then peel off the Bowser sticker to get a platform moving. Wait until it comes back to you and jump to it, then it will take you to the Wiggler segment. It will run away as soon as it sees you. There's a Jump sticker on the wall of this platform if you want it. Now make your way back to the right side and enter the next area. Here, you'll see the Wiggler segment again. To the south is a Recovery Block; use it if you need it, then go north and get the Hopslipper, Slaphammer, and Jump stickers on your way up. Jump to the swinging platform and to the platform across from it. Peel the Bowser sticker off the floor to get the platform it was stuck to swinging. Now use the first swinging platform and let it take you to a tree. Jump to it, then jump to the second swinging platform and then to the tree on the right. Head down the path to reach the Wiggler segment, which runs from you yet again.

There's a Starman in the poisonous pond below you, as you probably noticed, but it's really not worth getting. Ride the second platform again and jump off to the northeastern platform. Go east and jump in between the brick blocks to hit an Item Block containing a Fire Flower sticker, then head to the next screen. Here, paperize yourself and place a sticker you want powered up in the box. Now go west and peel off the Bowser sticker that's stuck to the platform. Ignore it for now and jump back up, then ride the swinging platforms across to the western side. Hit the Item Block here for an Ice Flower sticker, then keep going west and get the Hurlhammer sticker. Drop off to the ledge below you and peel off the Hopslipper sticker, then hop across the lilypads to reach something that looks kinda like a coffin at first glance. Whack it with your hammer until you remove the poison, then pick up the Sponge Thing. Now backtrack to the right and onto the platform, then jump to the moving platform and then to the swinging one.

Use the platforms to reach the southwestern end of the screen, then get the Hammer sticker and proceed to the next screen. Hit the Item Block here to get a Line Jump sticker, then peel off the Bowser sticker to create a path to the left. This is just a shortcut, should you want to use it. Now head right and paperize yourself, then place a random sticker into the box to stop the poison spewing out of the tree bark. Jump to the swinging platform and it will take you to the northeastern side; jump there and head to the next screen. You'll see a moving tree stump with the Wiggler segment stuck in it. Jump to it and pull it out, then it'll start following you again. Jump back to the tree stump and go north. Get on the moving platform to the right and let it take you up to another platform, which has a comet piece on it. Touch it to finish the level! The Wiggler segment will run off once again to the next level.

World 3-10: Stump Glade

Item Checklist

  • Things
    • Radiator

Head right upon entering and up the tree's ledges. Fall down the hole in the center and you'll be in a pitch black room. Suddenly the lights will turn on, and you'll find out it's some sort of Snifit game show. You have to successfully pass three games to "win" the Wiggler segment. If you lose any of them, it's game over. Accept their challenge! Firstly, you'll have to play Pick-and-Choose Panic, which is basically just a true-or-false game. Hit the checkmark box if you think it's true, and the X one if false. They'll emit poison gas in the room, and the longer you wait to answer, the more damage you'll take. You only have to answer three correctly to move on. Here's a list of possible questions in the game, along with the correct answers.

Question Answer
To use the Battle Spinner, you need five coins. False
My dinner last night was a delicious mushroom steak. True
If you get a Super Star, you temporarily become invincible. True
If you use a Mushroom Sticker, Mario's body gets big. False
If you get all Poison Mushrooms in the Battle Spinner, all foes get poisoned. False
Your host's name is Snifit. True
Kamek can fly through the sky. He rides a broom. True
This doesn't leave this room, but...King Bowser actually loathes Princess Peach. False
When Mario and Kersti first met, Kersti was stuck to a sign. True
Mario has no siblings. False
If you have an Iron Jump sticker, you can jump on enemies with spikes. True
This doesn't leave this room, but...Princess Peach is actually a man. False
Mario, Toads, and Koopa Troopas all wear shoes. True
A Hammer sticker has a more powerful attack than a Shiny Hammer sticker. False
Some Toads were locked up in a cupboard in Decalburg. There were nine Toads inside that cupboard. False
Bowser Jr.'s father is King Bowser, and his mother is Princess Peach. False
Straight up, Bowser's cooler than Mario! True
Right now there are 30 Snifits in the studio audience. True
To swing the Hammer, you press Y. False
Koopas, Paratroopas, and Lakitus can all fly. False
If you use a Spike Helmet, you can also stomp enemies with spikes. False
A Shiny Jump sticker is more expensive than a Jump sticker. True
Kamek, Bowser Jr., and Koopa Troopa all wear glasses. False

Once you answer three questions correctly, you win. The next game in line is Big Bonking Snifit Bash. This is basically a game of whack-a-mole...with poisonous gas. Simply hit 20 Snifits in total with your hammer as they pop up from the ground. Sometimes Recovery Hearts will pop up as well, and they restore 5 HP each if you hit them. After you win this game, you'll have to play one more, which is the Unrelentingly Exciting Shuffle Game. In this game, there are three blocks, and they will shuffle (the center one will always be the "correct" answer before the shuffle, for the first two rounds). You have to hit the one with the checkmark in it three times to win. If you miss, you have to battle a Snifit. For the third round, there are four blocks instead of three, but all you gotta do is keep an eye on the correct block and hit it accordingly when the shuffling is finished. After three rounds of this, you win.

As a prize for winning the entire Snifit or Whiffit game, you get the Wiggler segment! You'll fall down to another floor with the comet piece, and a Recovery Block. The Snifit host will ask you if you want to accept the "special challenge", however! Accept his offer and it's time for the Big-Bonking-Panic-Pick-and-Choose Snifit Bash! Basically, you have to answer three questions again (same ones listed above), with an added bonus of having to hit five Snifits before you can do so. Answer the three questions correctly and you'll be dropped into yet another room, with a giant present. Peel off the ribbon and you'll receive the Radiator Thing, which you're gonna need eventually. Take the pipe out of this room, then use the Recovery Block and touch the comet piece to finish the level! The Wiggler segment will run off again, this time to The Bafflewood. Follow it.

World 3-2: The Bafflewood (Revisited)

Item Checklist

  • New Stickers
    • Shiny Iron Jump
    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Shiny Line Jump
    • Shell
    • Shiny Shell
    • Flashy Shell
  • Things
    • Bowling Ball

I'm not gonna bother listing the stickers you got here the first time again. Head to the screen where the maze starts, then go northeast one screen, northwest another, and northeast three screens. You'll spot the Wiggler segment here. It will get startled and run towards the northern fence, bumping into it and knocking over a bush, which reveals a new path. Walk up to it and it will fight you, and this time it's accompanied by two Piranha Plants, but otherwise is the same as the others. Once you win the battle, it will follow you again. Go north to the next screen. Here, there are two Item Blocks, but they're both being guarded by Piranha Plants, so you'll have to defeat them in order to get the items. They contain Shiny Iron Jump, Shiny Hopslipper, Shiny Line Jump stickers, and the Shell, Shiny Shell, and Flashy Shell stickers. Now go north two screens and take the Bowling Ball Thing from the stump! Now go south three screens, southwest two screens, north one screen, west one screen, and north another. Hit the comet piece to finish the level. Now take the Wiggler segment back to the Wiggler's home, finally.

Before we move on, make sure you turn the Bowling Ball you just got into a sticker. With that done, we need to get a secret goal in 3-4.

World 3-4 Secret Goal

Item Checklist

None

With the Bowling Ball sticker, head all the way to the second and at the end, you can take the northern or eastern exits. Head north this time. Here, paperize yourself and place the Bowling Ball sticker onto the big box. It will roll down the path and knock over giant bowling pins that look like trees, allowing you to access the comet piece behind it. Pick up the Bowling Ball Thing again once the scene is over, then touch the comet piece to unlock World 3-11!

World 3-11: Holey Thicket

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Iron Jump
    • Shell
    • Hammer
    • Iron Jump
    • Shiny Jump
    • Eekhammer
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Jump
    • Hammer
  • Scraps
    • Bowser Tape

  • NOTE: To unlock this level, you need to find the secret goal in World 3-4. See World 3-4 Secret Goal to find out where it is.

When you enter, head east and you'll probably see a Poison Blooper hidden behind the bushes. At the end of the screen, go around the bushes (you'll likely fall into a poisonous pond on the way), to where the Blooper is. Two of them will then fly off, holding the last Wiggler segment. Go back around and to the next screen. Here, head all the way to the east and you'll see a shadow where you can place a sticker. Ignore it for now and get the Iron Jump sticker on the wall, then go west and peel off the first Bowser sticker you see. To the left, near the Item Block is another one. Peel that off to flip the ledge over, which also has a sticker on it. Peel that one off to make a platform, allowing you to reach the block containing a Shell sticker. Now head west to the next area. Ignore the Bowser sticker here; under it is just a pool of poison. Follow the path and peel off the Hammer sticker, as well as the Bowser sticker on the bush. To the left of that is an Iron Jump sticker. Continue west and get the Shiny Jump sticker from the Item Block, and the Eekhammer sticker on another bush. Peel yet another Bowser sticker off the floor (the one on the bush doesn't do anything) and you'll fall down a hole to an underground cave.

In the cave, look for the gray patch on the ground and stand on it, then jump to find a hidden block with a Shiny Hammer sticker inside. Follow the path to the end of the cave and head up to get back outside, where you'll see a Bowser sticker in a tree. Hit the three to make it fall, then pick up the Bowser Tape scrap! Jump down off this platform and go back east to the previous screen. Head to where you saw the tape silhouette on the wall earlier and paperize the Bowser Tape there, then peel it off to reveal a staircase leading to the comet piece. First get the Jump and Hammer stickers, then finish the level. However, this doesn't actually do anything, so let's go back in and get the "secret" goal (also, you'll see the Bloopers take the Wiggler segment to the stage ahead).

World 3-11 Secret Goal

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Hammer
    • Jump
    • Shiny Mushroom
    • Iron Jump
    • Hurlhammer
    • POW Block
    • Shiny POW Block
    • Shiny Fire Flower
    • Shiny Ice Flower
    • Iron Jump
    • Baahammer
    • Shell
    • Burnhammer

Go to where the first comet piece is, then simply continue east to another screen. Here, get the nearby Hammer and Jump stickers first. You'll see the Toad that you've rescued twice already being bullied again, this time by a pair of Bloopers. Talk to them and you can either pay 50 coins to get them to leave, or fight them. I chose the latter of course. Unlike the other two fights, there's nothing special about this one, so just kill the two Poison Bloopers like you normally would. The Toad will thank you for rescuing him, and give you a Shiny Mushroom sticker before leaving. Now head right, and get the Iron Jump sticker. It's a dead end! Or is it? Go to the puddle of poison to the left. Look in the center and you'll just barely see a hole; jump into it and you'll be in a cave. Here, head up the steps and through the exit leading back outside. Go west here and up the ledges, then get the Hurlhammer sticker, and the POW Block sticker from the Item Block. Now head west to the next screen, and hit the Item Block three times to get a Shiny POW Block, Shiny Fire Flower, and Shiny Ice Flower sticker. Go back to the previous screen.

Head back towards the east and get the Iron Jump sticker to the north, as well as the Baahammer sticker out of the Item Block. All the way to the right is another Item Block with a Shell sticker inside. On the ledge with the Boomerang Bro on it is a Burnhammer sticker. There's a cave entrance in the middle of the poison on the wall; go through. There, simply head west to the exit on the other side. Go south out here and touch the comet piece to end the level! This unlocks World 3-12, the last level of this world. Finally.

World 3-12: Whitecap Beach

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Line Jump
    • Worn-Out Jump
    • Line Jump (x2)
    • Shiny Line Jump
    • Hopslipper
    • Jump
    • Hammer
    • Shiny Eekhammer
  • Things
    • Pocket Watch

  • NOTE: To unlock this level, you must find the secret goal in World 3-11. See World 3-11 Secret Goal to find out its location. Also, make sure you turn your Sponge Thing into a sticker before entering here.

Begin by heading south and dropping off the ledge. On the shoreline, you'll see an object stuck in the ground; pull it out to get the Pocket Watch Thing, then go right and you'll see the Bloopers with the Wiggler segment. Approach them and you'll have to fight all three! The Wiggler segment is covered in poison this time, but the fight isn't really any different from the other segments. After you win the battle, it will attempt to flee towards the ship in the water, but it can't cross, so it runs back and out of this level. Leave and go to Surfshine Harbor, then go to the dock and you'll find it trying to use the boat. The Toad won't allow it, then it will give up and start following you. Take it back to the Wiggler's home in 3-3, and you will have to reassemble his segments through paperization. Once you do so, he'll help you cross the poisonous waters to reach the island, and runs off to Whitecap Beach. Follow him there and head to the dock, then speak to him and tell him you're ready to go! After the scene, you'll be on the island.

Head right and you'll find some Cheep Cheeps hopping in and out of the water. Keep going and get the Line Jump sticker, then jump your way across the barrels to reach the other side. Jump to the ledge ahead and get the Worn-Out Jump sticker, then head west and make your way to the Item Block containing two Line Jump stickers, and one Shiny Line Jump sticker. Also get the Hopslipper sticker off the wall. Now head back south and walk the plank (sorry, I couldn't resist), then keep going east and watch out for the giant Blooper tentacles that will try to smack you from afar! Keep going along the path and peel off the Jump and Hammer stickers, and before entering the ship, go south to an Item Block containing a Shiny Eekhammer sticker. Now go back and enter the ship this time. Use the Recovery Block inside and save your game at the Save Block, then head to the next screen.

You can power up one of your stickers above the flower nearby if you wish. In any case, simply follow the path to the end of the screen, where you'll find a giant Blooper, the cause of this whole mess! Time to fight.

BOSS: Gooper Blooper

  • HP: 300
  • Weakness: Sponge

This is an interesting boss, to say the least. Start by using the Battle Spinner and using normal stickers against it. It will attack by swinging its tentacles at Mario, but I couldn't get the timing down to block them. It will do this three times, and then it will turn purple and have all four tentacles making rhythm with the music. At this point, you need the Sponge sticker! If you don't use it, he'll spit poison at you, in addition to making it where you can't see anything for a few turns. So, use the Sponge and the poison will be reflected back at him, blinding and poisoning him for four turns. The poison will deal about 30 damage for those turns, too! Also, the music gets a drastic change at this point, to something classic. Cool.

All of his attacks will miss until the poison fades. Use the Battle Spinner and unleash your best stickers at him. By the time the poison wears off, he should be nearly, if not dead, so simply finish him off with whatever you need. If you somehow don't manage to finish him off, he'll shoot more poison at you. Needless to say, you don't want this to happen. With the Sponge, this is a really easy fight.

You'll obtain the third Royal Sticker after the battle. We're half way there! You'll also get a page added to your Sticker Album, making that the sixth one. Now the poison has been cleared from all the levels in this world, and we have some things we can get as a result. Skip to [[Surfshine Harbor Revisited]] if you don't care, but I do suggest you take a look.

Go east to the second screen. There, in the dried up trench, you'll see an arrow pointing towards the wall. Go there to find a hidden room containing some coins and an HP-Up Heart.

World 3-10 HP-Up Heart

Item Checklist

None

Go back in the hole and play the Snifit or Whiffit games again. Win the first three (you don't get anything for taking the special challenge a second time) and in the storage room, you'll find an HP-Up Heart waiting for you to take it.

That's it for the extra stuff. World 3 is finally finished. Let's pay a visit to Surfshine Harbor again.

Surfshine Harbor (Revisited)

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Eekhammer

  • NOTE: Before we continue, make sure you re-buy the Scissors Thing and turn it into a sticker, and turn your Fishhook Thing into a sticker as well.

When you enter, go east one screen and you'll be at the harbor. There, go behind the stack of crates to the back area. Go west and paperize the Scissors sticker onto the big box to cut the rope holding the boat. Now go back around and enter it from the front door. Inside, paperize the Ship's Wheel scrap onto it (which you should've gotten much earlier in the game, it's in one of the warehouses in the first area). When the Toad enters, talk to him and tell him you want to set sail. The ship will be stopped by a giant Cheep Cheep! Head outside to check it out, hit the Recovery Block, and go southeast to the docks (get the Eekhammer sticker along the way). Head to the end of the path and the Cheep Cheep will jump on you, initiating a battle.

BOSS: Big Cheep Cheep

  • HP: 88
  • Weakness: Fishhook

Start by attacking it with your weakest stickers. After a couple turns or so, it will jump into the water and restore all of its HP. At this point it will stay underwater. Now use the Fishhook sticker to pull it out. Once you do this, it will be too afraid to jump back in the water, so you can safely take off all its HP. Utilize the Battle Spinner well, because after this, its body will expand with each turn. After a few turns of this, it will explode and kill you in the process, so you'll want to defeat it before this happens. As for attacks, it will jump on Mario, and will get stronger each time it expands. It will also shoot water at Mario when it jumps into the water. Just use your strongest stickers on it to make quick work of it.

With the Cheep Cheep gone, head back to the boat and heal yourself with the block along the way. Speak to the Toad inside and he'll appoint you captain, so take to the wheel and it's off to the northern half of the world map! You can do the three worlds in any order you wish, of course, but let's start with World 4.

World 4

World 4-1: Snow Rise

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Shiny Ice Flower
    • Shiny Jump
    • Shiny Eekhammer
    • Shiny Jump (x3)
    • Shiny Spike Helmet
    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Shiny Slaphammer
    • Shiny Jump
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Shiny Jump
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Shiny POW Block
    • Shiny Hammer
  • Scraps
    • Pipe in a Cave
  • Things
    • Goat

  • NOTE: You need the Radiator Thing to finish this level properly. Turn it into a sticker before you enter.

Head right and up the ledges, then get the Shiny Hammer sticker off the wall to the north. Hit the Item Block for a Shiny Ice Flower sticker, as well. You've probably also noticed the shiny Goomba enemy nearby, which is pretty much just a stronger version of a normal Goomba. Anyway, keep following the path and get the Shiny Jump and Shiny Eekhammer stickers, then go north and hit the Item Block to get three Shiny Jump stickers. If you didn't notice, this level loves the word shiny. Continue east to the next screen. Here, you'll see four penguins that slide down a slope ahead. Hit the nearby Item Block to get a Shiny Spike Helmet, then get the Shiny Hopslipper sticker off the wall. There are many paths you can take at this point. For now, keep going east until you reach the next screen.

You can paperize a sticker onto the block in the middle of the flipped over flowers to the right, to power up one of your stickers. Do so if you wish, then keep going and hammer the two snowballs out of the way. Walk to the end of the path to find a Shiny Slaphammer sticker in the Item Block. Now head up the first slope and watch out for the snowball the Snow Spike will throw your way. Defeat it and head right, to two more slopes. Go up and make your way to the top to reach a cave leading to another screen. Climb to the top of the mountain and hit the tree in the corner three times. This causes a Birdo to appear (for the first time in the Paper Mario series!) and swing by, throwing a Goat Thing your way! Now leave this area and go back down the slope I told you to go up earlier, then head west and up that slope, defeating the Snow Spike there as well. Enter the small cave opening at the top and get the Shiny Jump and Shiny Hammer stickers out of there, then go west and use the Recovery Block and save your game at the Save Block, then go west to the next screen.

Here, paperize yourself and place the Radiator sticker on the box on the brick structure. This will melt the snow in the area, revealing a cave that you can go through. First go west across the slope and get the Shiny Jump and Shiny Hammer stickers, then continue to the next screen. In this area, you'll come to a dead end. What you have to do is melt the snow blocking your way. Paperize a Fire Flower or Burnhammer onto it and it will melt, revealing a Pipe in a Cave scrap. Take it and go back one screen and enter the cave. Here, hit the Item Block for a Shiny POW Block sticker, then heal yourself at the Recovery Block and head up the slope nearby. Take cover in the second hole as you see a snowball roll down with a Goomba riding it. Head east quickly and defeat the Snow Spike to stop this. When it's defeated, take the Shiny Hammer sticker and continue up the next slope.

Hug the northern wall to avoid the Snow Spike throwing snowballs, then get the Shiny Jump sticker and head up some more. Avoid the snowballs and you'll reach the top, where you'll find your comet piece. Touch it to finish the level!

World 4-1 Secret Goal

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Shiny Eekhammer
    • Shiny Shell

  • NOTE: You need the Pipe in a Cave scrap to find this goal. You can get it by going to the top of the giant hill, then entering the northwestern screen and paperizing a fire sticker onto the big mound of snow.

Start by heading to the screen with all the slopes going up and down. Head up the first slope, then east and down the next one. Jump where the flower is to reveal an Item Block containing a Shiny Eekhammer sticker, then go back west and head up the slope you just ignroed. Head east and into the mound of snow to fall down to the ledge you couldn't reach. Jump from the brick block to the hidden block you revealed, then get the Shiny Shel sticker from that Item Block. Now jump back and paperize the Pipe in a Cave scrap onto the silhouette, then go through it to reach the background. Head west and touch the comet piece. This unlocks World 4-5!

World 4-2: Ice Flow

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Flashy Line Jump
    • Shiny Jump
    • Shiny Spike Helmet
    • Shiny POW Block
    • Shiny Leaf
    • Burnhammer
    • Shiny Iron Jump
    • Flashy Slaphammer (x2)
    • Secret Door
  • Things
    • Curling Stone

Begin by heading right and dropping onto the sheet of ice. It's very slippery here, and you'll have to avoid the oncoming Cooligans. First just dodge the Cooligans for a bit, until eventually you'll see a black object between them. Grab it to get the Curling Stone Thing, then head north and west into the opening in the wall you'll come to. Hit the Item Block for a Shiny Hopslipper sticker, then go to the opposite side and get the Recovery Heart that restores your HP by 30. Now continue heading north and enter the cave at the end of the path. Inside, go east and get the Shiny Hammer sticker, then continue up the steps and fight the Ice Bro, because he will make quick work of you if you don't. After that, hit the nearby Item Block for a Flashy Line Jump sticker. Go southwest and head up the ledges, then all the way north to a Shiny Jump sticker. Head eastward and you'll see another Item Block in the distance; it contains a Shiny Spike Helmet, Shiny POW Block, and Shiny Leaf sticker. Get them and continue up the ledges to reach the exit of this cave.

Out here, go west and drop onto the sheet of ice. Head north along the path and hit the Item Block you'll come across for a Recovery Heart. There's an HP-Up Heart on a ledge you can't reach from here; to get it, go north a bit more until you see a ledge you can jump to on the right. Do so and the screen will turn, showing you a Recovery Block that you can use if need be. Regardless, keep going right and pick up the HP-Up Heart. Go to the flower near the Recovery Block and jump above it to find a Burnhammer sticker. Now jump back down and continue up the icy path to the next area. There, pick up the Recovery Heart in plain sight to restore 30 HP (I have no idea why there's so much health restoration in this level). Also get the Shiny Iron Jump sticker, then head east and watch out for the Ice Bro. Head up the ledges and hit the Item Block in the corner to receive a Flashy Slaphammer sticker.

Go west from that and jump under the three flowers to reveal three hidden blocks. For now, continue heading west and take a turn southward to reach an area with four stumps. Paperize a sticker above each to power them up, and when you're done, go back north and up the ledges. There's another annoying Ice Bro here, so take care of it if you wish and jump one ledge above it. Stand on the edge of the platform and use your hammer to reveal a hidden block. Get on it and do it again to reveal another one, then keep doing this to create a path. Stand on the highest block and jump to the right, then peel off the Flashy Slaphammmer and Secret Door stickers. Drop down and make your way back up, then touch the comet piece to finish the level.

World 4-3: The Enigmansion

    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Shiny Fire Flower
    • Shiny Jump (x3)
    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Flashy Infinijump (x2)
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Shiny Eekhammer
    • Shiny Ice Flower
    • Shiny Jump
    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Shiny Iron Jump
    • Shiny Hopslipper (x2)
    • Shiny Mushroom
  • Scraps
    • Steward's Portrait
    • Mansion Safe
    • Mansion Wall
    • Mansion Door
    • Mansion Bookcase
    • Mansion Door
    • Big Bookcase
    • Forebear's Portrait
  • Things
    • Oven
    • Stapler
    • Cake
  • Other
    • Book of Sealing

  • NOTE: Be sure to take some Spike Helmet stickers with you, and turn your Vacuum Thing into a sticker as well before entering this level. You will likely be attacked by Bowser Jr. on your way back to Decalburg, so head to Bowser Jr. Rematch to see how to beat him.

This is an interesting level, different from the usual. Go to the mansion's entrance and speak to the Toad. He'll tell you that a special book that had terrible monsters or something inside of it have been released into the mansion, and he wants you to go and seal them all back. He'll give you the Book of Sealing, so enter the mansion once he's done talking. Inside, start by heading up the stairs in the middle and getting the Shiny Hammer sticker. To the left and right are Item Blocks containing a Shiny Hopslipper and Shiny Fire Flower sticker, then go to the middle and paperize the Steward's Portrait scrap off. Now head back down and get the Shiny Jump sticker off the northwestern wall, then go through the door there. In this room, go north and a scene will occur where you'll see several Boos appearing in the room! These are the creatures we have to seal up. Peel off the Shiny Jump sticker to the north, then fight the Scaredy Rat nearby. Examine the oven at the northwestern corner to get the Oven Thing, then head directly east of that and examine the refrigerator. Inside is a Boo, which will attack you. It's easy to defeat; just use a Shiny sticker to take care of it.

Once you defeat it, you'll seal it up in the Book of Sealing. Leave this room and you'll notice a Boo go behind the staircase. Follow it and defeat it, then you'll seal it up. Now recover and save your game to the right if you wish, then enter the western door. In here, go west and peel off the Shiny Jump sticker, then jump on the fireplace and hit the sparkling portrait to make a piece of paper fall out. Drop down and pick it up to get the Mansion Safe scrap. Now go through the door to the north. In this hallway, go up to the third window and hammer it to make it fall, then jump through. Out here, go east and hit the Item Block to get a Shiny Hopslipper sticker, then jump at the Boo when it's low enough for you to reach to enter in a battle with it. Defeat it to seal it up, then go back inside. In the hallway again, head through the door in front of you and take the western door in there. You'll see a shiny sticker on the wall that you can't reach.

Paperize yourself and peel it off to get the Mansion Wall scrap, then go south through the door leading outside again. Fight the Scaredy Rat here, then hit the Item Block to get a Shiny POW Block sticker. Head back two rooms and paperize yourself, then peel off the Mansion Door scrap. So what do we do now? Paperize the Mansion Wall onto the place where the door used to be, and now you can access that sticker! It's a Flashy Infinijump sticker. Nice. Go back west to where you peeled off the wall and place the door there instead, then go through. In here, you'll find a Boo hiding in a corner. Defeat it to add the fourth Boo to your Book of Sealing, then go back to the hallway you were in earlier. Head through the eastern corridor and enter the door near the silhouette. Inside, peel off the Mansion Bookcase scrap in paperization, then place the Mansion Safe there and open it to encounter a shiny Boo! Aside from being shiny, there's no in-battle difference, so defeat it like you always would. It will drop many coins and get sealed, so pick up the coins and leave the room.

Back here, go west and paperize the Mansion Bookcase onto the silhouette, then peel off the Flashy Infinijump sticker and head right. Peel off the Shiny Hammer sticker, then turn north down that hallway to another screen. Get the Shiny Hopslipper sticker and the Shiny Eekhammer sticker, then go east past the stairs to a Boo being picked on by two Scaredy Rats. "Talk" to them to fight them, as well as the Boo. Once you defeat them, you'll add the Boo to your book. Go back to the staircase and climb it up, getting the Shiny Ice Flower from the Item Block half way up. On the railings is a Shiny Jump sticker, and at the top is a Shiny Hopslipper sticker in another Item Block. There's also a spot for a Secret Door here. Head back down the stairs and to the previous screen. Go south down that hallway and the middle window will open, blowing in a stapler. Pick it up to get the Stapler Thing, then keep going south and to another room.

Jump on the box here and peel off the Shiny Iron Jump sticker, then jump to the flying table when it comes near you. It will take you to the northwestern corner; jump there and hit the underside of the torch to darken the room, revealing Boos carrying each piece of furniture. Touch the one holding the table when you can reach it and you'll have to fight them all at once. Defeat them and you'll get three more Boos added to your Book of Sealing! They'll also drop the furniture in the corner of the room, allowing you to access the Mansion Door on top of the bookcase. Once you have it, go through the door to the left. Back in the main room, use the Recovery Block and save your game at the Save Block, then head up the staircase and paperize the Mansion Door onto the silhouette where you took the portrait earlier. Go through it.

Now we're on the upper floors of the mansion. Go east and take the Shiny Hopslipper sticker, then follow the path north until you see an opening to the left. Jump down and land on the table, then stand on the easternmost flower and jump to reveal a hidden Item Block. It contains another Shiny Hopslipper sticker. Take the Cake Thing off the table, then go south through the door back to the main area. Head back up the stairs and onto the balcony again, then head east and all the way north. You'll see a sparkling rug by the easternmost door. Flip it over with your hammer and peel off the Shiny Mushroom sticker, then enter the door. Inside, examine the middle portrait and a Boo will emerge from it, which splits into five. Enjoy your cool battle music as you fight all five Boos. Upon defeating them, you'll capture them as usual, so leave the room and enter the middle door next. Knock over the trash can in here with your hammer and a weird-looking crumpled piece of paper will start moving, revealing itself to be a Boo.

This one can't move and only has 1 HP, so use your weakest sticker on it to defeat and capture it. Now paperize the Steward's Portrait onto the middle wall and go to the exit of the room, but not out just yet. Wait until the portrait's face turns into a Boo, then jump in front of it to battle it. Defeat it to capture it, then leave the room and enter the western door. In here, open the cupboard to spill out a bunch of Boos, then jump to enter in a battle with them. They're the Boo Stack, and they have 82 HP! Use multi-hitting stickers, preferably Hopslippers, until you finally take them all out. You'll then seal up all 82 Boos! Hit the clock in the room with your hammer to find another one, then defeat it to seal it up. Examine the shining object on the ground to get the Big Bookcase scrap, then leave this room and head back to the main lobby. Go south through the door leading out of the mansion. Out there, talk to the steward if you want, then knock over the fireplace with your hammer to reveal a Boo behind him.

Defeat it and you'll capture it. You finally have all the Boos. Yay! Go back inside the mansion and recover/save, then go through the door on the right. Back in this room, paperize the Big Bookcase onto the silhouette and it will move aside, revealing a secret room. Go in there and peel off the Bowser sticker to reveal a staircase leading to the basement; enter it. Inside, head all the way down and into a room with a pedestal. Examine it and place the Book of Sealing there, then Kamek will enter the room and use a spell on the book, causing all of the Boos we just sealed to combine into one giant Boo. Time for a boss battle!

BOSS: Big Boo

  • HP: 100
  • Weakness: Vacuum, Upright Vacuum

Simply put, you need one of the two vacuum stickers to win this battle. Start by using your strongest stickers on it (such as Flashy ones) to deal massive damage. On the Big Boo's turn, it will attack you and then vanish. When this happens, use the vacuum to blow out the lights and suck in the Boo, causing a good amount of damage and darkening the room as well. From there, just keep pounding at it until it's dead, though it should be very close at this point anyway. It attacks the same way normal Boos do, and by folding itself up over Mario and dealing damage several times. This fight is very easy, however, and its attacks are hardly a cause for concern.

After the battle, the book will return to normal, and the steward will thank you for helping clear the mansion of the ghosts, and tells you to come to the room to the left of the lobby. Head out of the basement and back to the lobby, then recover/save and head through the western door. Inside, talk to the steward by jumping in the chair, then go west and examine the record player in the corner of the room. Finally, examine the portrait to the north and the steward will let you take it. You'll get the Forebear's Portrait scrap. Now go through the northern door and out of the window again. Outside, go south and touch the comet piece that's there now to finally end this level.

World 4-4: Shaved-Ice Cave

Item Checklist

None

There's nothing here except a Toad frozen in ice, who sells you stickers at his shop. They're all shiny, and some are even new. Stock up on stickers because you probably need them at this point. If you scroll to the left, you'll find some Big Shiny stickers for sale! Buy a few Big Shiny Burnhammers while you're here; you're gonna need 'em soon. When you're ready, exit and head to world 4-5.

World 4-5: Whiteout Valley

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Shiny Line Jump
    • Shiny Jump
    • Shiny Ice Flower
    • Shiny Hopslipper

  • NOTE: This level is accessed by finding the secret goal in World 4-1. Check World 4-1 Secret Goal to find out where it is.

When you enter here, get the Shiny Hammer and Shiny Line Jump stickers, then head right and get the Shiny Jump sticker. Further ahead you'll find a Shiny Ice Flower and Shiny Hopslipper sticker, as well as a place to heal and save. Do so, then head to the end of the path and paperize the Forebear's Portrait scrap onto the silhouette. You'll get a neat fade-in effect and can access the rest of the area! Talk to him twice and he'll let you ride the White Valley Lift. Jump onto any of them to start the ride up. On your way up, you can swing back and forth using the Circle Pad, as well as jump using A and swinging your hammer with B. Watch out for the Fuzzies on the way up the first screen; try avoiding them by swinging. If they touch you, you have to battle. There will also be Ice Bros in the background throwing snowballs at you, so watch out for that. On the second screen, there are a lot more Fuzzies. On the third screen, there will be Paragoombas on the lifts in front of and behind you. You'll eventually see Luigi riding one of the lifts in the background; paperize him off of it if you want to.

Once you get past the three screens, the ride is over, so head east and up the stairs to find the comet piece. Touch it to end the level. Well, that was short. First let's go back to the mansion to get a few things.

World 4-3: The Enigmansion (Revisited)

Item Checklist

  • Things
    • Refrigerator
    • Watering Can

After you finish Whiteout Valley, return to the mansion and go to the dining room. Examine the refrigerator in the northeastern corner to get the Refrigerator Thing, then leave and go through the western door. Speak to the steward to get an HP-Up Heart! Now go north two rooms, west one, and north another. Hammer the bookshelf in the corner a few times to knock off a Watering Can Thing. That's all there is to do here, so leave when you're ready.

World 4-6: Bowser's Snow Fort

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Shiny Jump
    • Shiny Shell
    • Shiny Hopslipper
    • Secret Door
    • Shiny Hammer
    • Shiny Jump
    • Shiny Slaphammer
    • Megaflash Chillhammer
    • Flashy Fire Flower
    • Shiny Fire Flower
  • Scraps
    • Mine-Cart Rail
    • Diagonal Rail
    • Mine-Cart Exit
  • Things
    • Sewing Scissors

  • NOTE: Before entering here, make sure you turn your Radiator and/or Oven Things into stickers. Also, have a few Big Shiny Burnhammers on hand...err, in your album.

Start by heading right and getting the Shiny Hopslipper sticker, then head up the ledges and get the Shiny Hammer sticker. You will see a bunch of Shy Guys lined up to the door here. Head west and get the Shiny Jump sticker, then go in between the two platforms to the north and jump above the flower to get a Shiny Shell sticker. Jump to the left and either fight the Shy Guy or wait for it to move, then get the Shiny Hopslipper sticker on the wall. Make your way up to the door either by jumping across the hidden block or just slowly making your way up. I suggest the former though. In the next room, jump left past the crowd and talk to the Shy Guys picking on our dear Toad friend. Choose not to buy their premium ticket and, as usual, you'll have to fight. They'll use some sort of spell to give themselves 120 HP each! They also attack by splitting into multiple and diving at Mario, which deals about 7 damage unguarded. Use stickers that hit multiple times to take care of them. Once they're defeated, you'll get a Secret Door sticker and the Toad will run off, as per usual. Now head into the crowd of Shy Guys where a Shiny Hammer sticker is once there's an opening, then stay in line and slowly edge your way through the crowd. It takes awhile, but it's better than wasting stickers fighting the Shy Guys/Snifits.

Eventually you'll see a Shiny Jump sticker on the western wall, so jump across to it and get it when you can. Make your way over to the right side and head south, then get the Sewing Scissors Thing off the crates. Drop off and peel off the Shiny Slaphammer sticker, then go back north and speak to the Shy Guy behind the counter. He'll have Mario wait for a Shy Guy cart to arrive, then you'll jump in and off you go. In this mine cart course, press A to jump and grab coins/jump over spike traps and pits. You'll probably notice sooner or later that you're going in a circle, and that there's a silhouette where you can paperize something. You'll also notice a Shy Guy riding by with a scrap hanging on the bottom of the cart. When it makes the turn to go upwards, paperize a sticker of your choice into the block and it will run into it, dropping the scrap. You'll collect the upgraded sticker along the way, as well as the Mine-Cart Rail scrap! Now when you make the turn back to the silhouette, paperize the railing onto it and you can jump across (it may take a couple tries).

When you make it across, you'll reach the second screen of the ride. There are Bob-ombs here, which will cause you to take damage if you run into them, so try to jump over/on them and avoid the spikes if you can. Eventually you should notice that there's a track bent downwards that you can't reach. Quickly paperize and peel off the bottom rail to get the Diagonal Rail scrap, then paperize again and place it back on properly. You will come to a wide platform and an opening in the bars, so jump when you reach it to get on land. Here, watch out for the Shy Guys and Ice Bros. There are also Shiny Bob-ombs running about that can blow up in your face. Hit the Item Blocks to get a Megaflash Chillhammer sticker, a Flashy Fire Flower sticker, and a Shiny Fire Flower sticker. Now use the Recovery Block and save your game at the Save Block, then go all the way west and examine the blue thing in the wall to get the Mine-Cart Exit scrap.

Jump back into the mine cart and after you turn the second corner, jump across the gap and paperize yourself. Place the Mine-Cart Exit onto the silhouette, and at the end of the track, jump and you'll go through it. Jump at the end of this track's path and you'll launch yourself out of a Bowser statue's mouth and crash to the ground. The statue will come to life at this point and attack you!

BOSS: Bowser Snow Statue/Mizzter Blizzard

  • HP: 400
  • Weakness: Radiator, Oven, Fire Stickers

The statue will start by covering itself in snow. Use a fire-based sticker to melt it off, then use the Radiator or Oven sticker to crack it, causing it to fall apart and reveal a smaller version of the statue, dealing around 60 damage in the process. The giant statue attacks by breathing icy breath onto you, and it's not too hard to defend against. It can also stomp you with its foot. Once it has shrunk a bit, use your Big Shiny Burnhammer stickers to deal even more damage and make it crack even more. You basically just keep repeating this (I had three Big Shiny Burnhammers) until you break a total of four layers of the statue. This will reveal a snowman called Mizzter Blizzard, and at this point the fight is almost over! He will attack by throwing snowballs at you; that's literally its only attack. Just go at it with everything you've got to finish it off.

After the battle, the snowman will melt away and the fourth Royal Sticker is yours to take! You'll, of course, get the seventh page of the Sticker Album added as well. Only two worlds left to go! Also if you haven't rematched Bowser Jr. yet, be prepared to fight him as soon as you exit this world.

Bowser Jr. Rematch

After you finish one level in either world 4 or 5, and if you have the first three Royal Stickers, you will be attacked by Bowser Jr. on your way back to the Surfshine Harbor boat.

BOSS: Bowser Jr.

  • HP: 100

This fight can be hard if you don't know the secret to beating him. He has a lot of HP compared to last time. He will attack you by swooping down at you, which can be guarded pretty easily. After you damage him a bit, he'll take out three Bob-ombs and toss them back and forth in his hands. At this point, you'll want to either use a Fire Flower or a perfectly timed Hurlhammer. This will cause the bombs to explode in his hands, dealing around 20-30 damage each time he does it. On the other hand, you'll take a lot of damage if he throws them at you. He'll also randomly heal himself for 20 HP, but he doesn't seem to do this very often at all. Keep exploding the bombs in his hands and he'll be done for in no time flat.

When you enter, hit the nearby Piranha Plant with your hammer and defeat it, then hit the Item Block to get a Flashy Slaphammer sticker. Go right and up the ledges, then flip the flowers over on the top ledge and paperize yourself. Place a sticker of your choice into the box and hit it to get three stickers out of it! Now head south and drop down, then go west and get the Jump sticker, as well as the Baahammer sticker from the Item Block. Go directly east of that (watch out for the Piranha Plant) to two Item Blocks. They contain a Shell and Shiny Eekhammer sticker. Now head back west and walk up to the flower in the middle. Hit the stem to stun it, then quickly jump up the platforms and across the flower to reach the next ledge. Paperize yourself and upgrade a sticker in the box above the flower, then hit the block to get the sticker and continue eastward. Watch out for the Hammer Bro and Boomerang Bro along the way, then jump up the ledges leading west, and across to the block you just created. Hit the Item Block under it to get a Flashy Fire Flower sticker. Now keep following the path east to an Iron Jump sticker on a rock, then head to the next screen.

There's another Iron Jump sticker on a bush here. Get it and head east into the grass. Hit the Item Block to get a Flashy Jump sticker; keep going and you'll come to another Item Block to the north with a Flashy Hammer sticker inside. Go behind the tree east of that and wiggle your way north to another area. Here, take the Toy Bat Thing from the ledge and go back to the previous screen. Head east and you'll find two more Item Blocks; these hold the Baahammer and Burnhammer stickers. Go into the little alcove if you want some hearts/coins, then continue east and get the Slaphammer and Jump stickers nearby. Hit the Item Block at the end for a Shiny Iron Jump sticker, then head back west and to the next area.

Here, go northeast and flip over the circle of flowers. Stand in the middle of them and jump to find a Shiny Shell sticker. Head north and you'll see three Spear Guys holding scraps. As you approach them, two will run away to the left and right and another will go south. Follow the one that went south and fight all the Spear Guys in the grass. Chase the one with the scrap to the northwestern corner until it's up against the wall, then attack it. Upon defeating it, you'll receive one of the three Bridge Part scraps. Now head back up the steps and go east. Hit the Item Block for a Shiny Iron Jump sticker, then peel off the normal Iron Jump sticker and continue onto the next screen. Follow the path east and head up the stone structure to two Item Blocks; they contain the Megaflash Hurlhammer and Shiny Shell stickers. Drop down and head south down some ledges to a Jump sticker, then hammer away the big bush to reveal a Bowser sticker. Peel it off to reveal a ledge, which you'll need. Jump back up and head right to find the Shy Guy with the second scrap.

He'll throw it to the Shy Guy across from him and they'll both run off. Drop down and peel off the Iron Jump sticker behind the flower, then hug the wall and head east to find a secret cave. Inside is an HP-Up Heart. Exit and go back to the flower, then go east and hammer the shadow under the Item Block to find a hidden Piranha Plant. Defeat it and hit the block to get a POW Block sticker. Go back and hit the stem of the flower to stun it, then quickly climb up and cross it. You'll make it if you use the ledge the Bowser sticker was holding. On the other side, continue to the next screen. Here, you'll see a bunch of Spear Guys, as well as the one with the scrap, in the bushes. Go north and get the Hammer sticker, as well as the Slaphammer sticker directly east of it. Further to the right is an Iron Jump sticker in the corner. Go to where the blue flower is and hammer in between the two branches to find a hidden block. From there, look for the Spear Guy with the scrap and lure him up the southwestern path. Keep going and he'll jump into the red flower and get eaten.

The scrap is on the platform across from us now. Go west and hit the Item Block to get three POW Block stickers, then go back east and jump behind the bushes. Go west to reach a secret area with a Powder Puff Thing inside. Get it and then exit, then drop down the ledge and hit the stem to stun the flower. Now go southwest and jump to the block you revealed earlier to get up the ledge faster, then jump across the flower to the second Bridge Part scrap. Go east a bit more and get the Flashy Clone Jump from the Item Block, then go back two screens. Back in this area, head all the way west and use the Recovery Block to heal and save at the Save Block, then keep going west to the next area. You're in some sort of junkyard now. Go to the center and paperize yourself, then place the Goat sticker onto the big block. The goat will eat all of the garbage, revealing the last Spear Guy in the corner. Defeat it to get the third and final Bridge Part scrap!

Leave this area and go to the center. Paperize the bridge parts to connect them together; you can see the outlines of the three parts to know which ones go where. When you're finished, go and touch the comet piece to finish this level off!

World 5-2: Jungle Rapids

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Jump
    • Flashy Clone Jump
  • Things
    • Rubber Ducky

Head east and enter the small building. Jump across the raft inside and get the Jump sticker, then get back on the raft and hammer the block that's blocking the raft's path. Stay on it and it will carry you down the rapids. To move the raft, go to the left or right edges of it and run, and it will move in that direction. Collect the coins as you go along, and soon you'll see some Spear Guys throwing spears at you from a distance. Be sure to avoid those, then you'll come to some Shy Guys swinging on a vine and dropping barrels into the water. If you hit one of these barrels, a log will break off of your log. If you lose all five logs, it's game over. Avoid the giant barrel by going left as much as needed, then you'll fall down to the second screen. In this section, collect more coins. You'll notice our Toad friend being harrassed by Spear Guys, but right at this moment we can't do anything about it. You'll fall down to the next section soon after.

Here, as you go down the rapids, you'll see skeletal fish jumping out of the water. When they jump on your raft, dodge them and give them a whack with your Hammer to knock them off. Soon a Rubber Ducky Thing will land on your raft along with two more fish. Grab it and continue knocking off the fish until you reach the final area. You'll automatically get off the raft and see the comet piece surrounded by several Spear Guys. Ignore it for the moment and head west to a cave, which you should enter. Inside, head through the pipe to reach the upper level outside. Head west along the path and hit the Item Block for a Flashy Clone Jump sticker, then keep going and you'll find the Toad you saw earlier. Talk to the Spear Guys and refuse to pay the hefty fee, then you'll have to fight five of them. One Shiny Shell sticker should take care of them.

The Toad will thank you yet again, and this time says he's going back to Decalburg. Go back to where the comet piece was now, then touch it to finish the level. Before we go to the next level, go to Decalburg and enter the rightmost house on the eastern side of the town. The Toad lives here, but he's not home right now. Examine the painting on the right and you'll get an HP-Up Heart from the Toad watching over the house! Now head to 5-3 when you're ready.

World 5-3: Long Fall Falls

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Big Shiny Infinijump

When you start this level, you'll almost immediately start being chased by a giant mecha Cheep Cheep! It will attack you in various ways as you cross the rapids, and each time it hits you, you'll lose a log off your raft. It has three attacks. One attack involves it diving under the water, then leaping into the air. Just watch its shadow and move your raft accordingly to avoid it. For another one of its attacks, it will dash at you. Again, just move in the opposite direction to avoid it. For its last attack, it will dive back out of the water after jumping at you, which can catch you off guard. Also, if he manages to eat you, it's an instant game over. Simply do your best to dodge its attacks and after a few minutes, you'll fall down the rapids and the mecha Cheep Cheep will fly off.

On the next screen, you'll come to a split path, one going left and the other going straight. Keep going straight and you'll crash into a dock, where the comet piece is located. Head behind it first and jump behind the fence, then hit the Item Block in the corner to get a Big Shiny Infinijump sticker. Now touch the comet piece to end the level, and unlock...nothing! Go back in.

World 5-3 Secret Goal

Item Checklist

  • Stickers
    • Megaflash Infinijump
  • Scraps
    • Jungle Floodgate

After the area with the giant Cheep Cheep, when you come to the split path on the raft, head west this time. As you turn north, paperize yourself and peel off the Jungle Floodgate scrap, then paperize again and stick it back on properly to reveal an entrance, so ride directly into it. Inside you'll crash onto a floor, where the comet piece awaits you! Head east of it and you'll find a room with an Item Block; inside is a Megaflash Infinijump sticker. Get it, then go back and touch the comet piece to unlock World 5-4.

  • Scraps
    • Ruin Slope
    • Bomp
    • Ruin Floor
  • Things
    • D-Cell Battery
    • Teapot

You'll arrive on a dock. Start by heading east along the path, but not on the temple itself. There's a Spear Guy here, and at the end of the path is a raft tied to a stake. Get on the raft and hit the stake while you're on it to set it afloat, carrying you to the east. Jump to the platform and hit the Item Block to get a Megaflash Eekhammer sticker, then head north up the ledges towards the entrance of the ruins. There will be a Bomp that will jut out of the wall and knock you off balance, so just wait until it goes back into the wall and then proceed onward, past the door and up the steps. Hit the Recovery Block if you need to heal, then go through that door. Inside, head down the slope and hit the Item Block to get a Shiny Hammer sticker. Paperize yourself and peel off the Ruin Slope scrap, then paperize it back to place it on the opposite side, allowing you to access the northeastern door. Go through it.

In the following room, head down the hallway and you'll notice a sticker on the wall. If you try to get it, you'll fall down a trap door! On the lower level, take the northeastern exit to another screen. Here, hit the Item Block for a Big Shiny Clone Jump sticker, then leave the room. Head back up the steps and go to the eastern edge of the trapdoor. You can reach the Flashy Jump sticker from this position. Once you have it, head right and you'll see a moving blade that will damage you if you touch it. Once it moves, go across and you'll come to a stake holding three spike traps. Release the traps by hammering the stake and drop down into the hole once they move away. Then, once they move back to their initial positions, continue eastward to another set of spike traps. Do the same thing to get past those, then drop down the ledges in the corner and enter the room there. Inside, get the Recovery Hearts and hit the Item Block three times to get two Baahammer stickers and one Chillhammer sticker. Leave the room and head back up, then defeat the Spear Guy on the nearby ledge and get the Fire Flower sticker from the Item Block. Jump to the ledge in front of you and hit the edge with your hammer to reveal a hidden block.

Jump to it and keep hammering the edges to reveal a path of blocks, allowing you to peel off the Shiny POW Block sticker as well. Wait until the spike traps move near you, then jump on the top and it will take you across to a platform. Get the Recovery Heart along the wya. This level's Secret Door is here. Wait for the next set of traps and jump to those as well, and you'll be taken to a door leading outside. Jump there and go through. Back outside, head south and peel off the Bowser sticker to release a bridge. Hit the first Item Block three times for two Iron Jump stickers and one Shiny Iron Jump sticker. The second one contains two Baahammer stickers and one Chillhammer sticker. Now head right and you'll bump into a wall; hit it with your hammer to make a shortcut to the Recovery Block. Use it if you need to, then head back west and up the platform. Go left and you'll see a bunch of Bomps coming out of the waterfall. You have to study their pattern and make it across, but it's pretty simple to learn.

Once you make it, turn around and hit the ground nearby until you reveal a hidden block. Jump to it, then jump on the Bomp when you can and hit the Item Block for a Flashy Shell sticker. Continue west and at the top, jump above and around the flower to reveal three hidden blocks. Now go through the door in front of you. In this area, go east and drop down the ledge, then head to the northeastern section and go under the platform. Head through the northwestern wall to find a secret pipe leading to a secret room. Inside are three Item Blocks containing a Megaflash Baahammer sticker, a Megaflash Hurlhammer sticker, and a Megaflash Hopslipper sticker. Now leave this room and head back west. Peel off the Bowser sticker to make some stairs appear; climb them up and jump across the Bomps on the right to reach the platform ahead. Go on the southern edge or you'll fall down more trapdoors. Enter the door you come to.

In the next room, hit the Item Block in front of you for a Shiny Jump sticker, then hit the one in the air for a Fire Flower sticker when you can. Now paperize yourself and peel off the Bomp scrap on the wall, then paperize it back and it will create another Bomp, allowing you to jump your way up to the door at the top; go through it. Out here, go to the end of the path and pick up the Ruin Floor scrap, then hammer the odd-looking part of the northern wall to make it fall, revealing the D-Cell Battery Thing. Pick it up, then drop down to where the Big Shiny Baahammer sticker is. You can get it if you revealed the hidden blocks earlier. Continue back through the door below you, then go left and paperize the Ruin Floor scrap onto the silhouette. When the blades move to the left, hammer the floor you just placed and drop through. Down here, go left and up the ledges. Defeat the first Hammer Bro, then jump across the Bomps the moment each of them pop out of the wall to make it across. On this platform, wait for the spike trap to move towards you, then jump on it.

It will take you across to a Flashy Infinijump sticker; get it, then let it take you back across. Continue west and up the ledges this time and go through the door. Out here, go east to a waterfall. Hammer the northern-ish edge of the platform to reveal a block, then get on it and do this two more times to create a path. On the third block, go north and through the waterfall. In this hidden room, pick up the Teapot Thing and exit. Go back west and get the Recovery Heart to restore your HP by 30, then save your game at the Save Block. Hit the stake in the ground to create a bridge, then cross it and jump up the ledges to a chained up Chain Chomp. Hit the stake to release it and then touch it to enter battle against the Big Chain Chomp. It's immune to all of your stickers and is asleep for three turns. Once the three turns are up, it will charge at you and take 10 HP off, then the battle ends. It will go on a frenzy and knock over the northern wall, revealing the comet piece. Touch it and the level is over!

  • NOTE: Turn your Shaved Ice Thing (or Refrigerator, if you have it) into a sticker before you enter this level.

In this level, you'll notice that there are flaming rocks falling from the sky. You'll take damage if they hit you! Head north and up the ledges to a Hammer sticker on the wall near the Fire Bro. Go south of that and get the Shiny Jump sticker from the Item Block, then head back east and you'll be stopped by some flowing lava. Paperize yourself and place the Shaved Ice or Refrigerator sticker onto the big box. This will cause the entire area to cool down, and the Fire Bros will revert to the more annoying Ice Bros. The Hammer sticker you just got has respawned and is a Shiny Hammer sticker now, so grab it and head back to the entrance of the level. Drop down the pit in the right, which is now frozen, and hit the Item Block to get another Shiny Hammer sticker. Head west from there into a secret room, where you'll find the Turkey Thing. Leave the room once you get it, and jump up onto the platform on the right. Hit the Item Block here to get a Line Jump sticker, then head north onto the sheet of ice. Head right and get the Ice Flower sticker, then head all the way west to a Chillhammer sticker. Jump back onto land and head up to the frozen streams of lava. Continue eastward and get the Shiny Shell sticker from the Item Block, then go east behind the rock to find a secret area.

Inside is a Fire Flower sticker, and an Item Block with a Megaflash Burnhammer sticker inside. Leave this small are and continue to the next screen. Here, you'll see two Fire Piranhas on the platform ahead. These are just like the regular Piranha Plants, but they spit fireballs at you. Fight or ignore them and continue east; you'll find another new enemy here, called the Bony Beetle. Anyway, continue on and jump across the moving platform to reach what appears to be a cave entrance. Paperize yourself and peel it off to get the Mountain Hole scrap, then hit the Item Block for a Flashy Hopslipper sticker. Jump across the next three moving platforms to the other side, then peel off the Shiny Hammer sticker and get the Flashy Jump from the Item Block. Head to the next area now. Here, go east and get the Iron Jump sticker, and at the end of the path you'll come to a cliff. You can't do anything here yet, so go back to the entrance of the screen and head south to fall to the lower level.

Get the Fire Flower sticker first, then go east and you'll see a boulder jutting out of the wall. Paperize yourself and peel it to get the Mountain Boulder scrap; in its place, put the Mountain Hole scrap there to create an opening. Head through the opening and up the path to a cracked rock. Hit it with your hammer and the rock on the top will fall, bridging the gap and allowing you to cross. Make your way westward to the exit of this area. On the next screen, peel off the Iron Jump sticker and jump across the ledges in the lava. Climb up the platforms after that and you're back to the area where we got the Mountain Hole scrap. Place the Mountain Boulder scrap there now, creating a path leading to an upper walkway. Jump to it and head west to another room. In here, you'll find the Car Sponge Thing; grab it and exit, then head east and get the Recovery Heart. Drop down and go east to reach the previous screen again.

This time, head east until you reach the boulder you knocked over a few moments ago. Cross it and hit the Item Block for a Shiny Hopslipper sticker, then restore your HP at the Recovery Block and save at the Save Block. Now continue to the next area. Here, you'll see a couple "X" marks on the ground. I'm sure you get the idea: stand in the middle of them and let the rocks destroy them. Move out of the way so you won't take damage, though. Break the first one to reveal a hole, then drop into it. Inside, get the Megaflash Slaphammer sticker from the Item Block, then get the Jump and Fire Flower stickers on the way to the next screen. Drop down here and go right; get the Flashy Iron Jump sticker out of the Item Block, then head west and up the ledges, getting the Iron Jump sticker as you go. Break all of the marks on the floor until you find another hole; enter it. In this steamy area, go north and get the Flashy Clone Jump sticker, then you'll come to a hot spring. You can restore your HP by jumping into it and standing there for awhile; Luigi is also taking a dip in the one west of that.

Paperize him out if you want to. Regardless, when you're done, head south and west to a cracked boulder. Walk up to it to get the Cracked Boulder scrap, then keep going and leave this area. Drop down here and head back up the ledges again and continue east. You'll come to a ledge with a Fire Bro and an Item Block; it holds a Shiny Eekhammer sticker. Further east is another one which contains a Shiny Hopslipper sticker. From that platform, jump to the floating platforms in the lava when they come out. When you're waiting for the third one, jump to it when it's slightly above you, but still possible to reach, then quickly jump to the last one and to the safe ground ahead. Now go north and up the ledges, then west. Defeat the Fire Piranha and get the Shiny Hammer sticker, then continue eastward to another area. Here, go south and drop down. Head east and you'll come to a silhouette. Paperize the Cracked Boulder scrap onto it, then hammer it to make the standing boulder above fall. This will create a path, but it will also crush the comet piece in the process!

Cross the boulder and get the Fire Flower sticker, then climb your way up to another crack in the ground. Let a falling rock destroy it to reveal a hole, then jump through. Inside, hit the Item Block to get a Megaflash Iron Jump sticker, then head south and leave the room. Drop down the opening here and go back west. Paperize yourself and peel off the boulder to get the Huge Mountain Slab scrap. Do it again and place it back on its other side to "un-crush" the comet piece. Touch it to finish the level!

When you enter, head east and up the steps to a hole leading into the volcano. Before you enter, hit the Item Block to get a Flashy Jump sticker. Now drop down into the volcano. Inside, go right and Kersti will fly off a bit, amazed at how the inside of a volcano looks. Suddenly, a giant Piranha with the Royal Sticker on its head flies up and eats him, then flies over to a nearby platform and taunts you. When you regain control, peel off the Bowser sticker on the floor to...fall further down the volcano. Dang. Head north and follow the path across the platforms to the end of the area, where you'll see a big moving platform. Jump on it and you'll be shot up to a new screen. Here, you'll probably notice the stickers, Chain Chomp, and Spear Guys hanging from the ceiling. For now, head west and hit the Item Block for a Flashy Hammer sticker, then proceed to the next room. Go west and get the Baahammer sticker, then jump onto the ledge and a Chain Chomp covered in fire will jump out! It will start chasing you; head back to the previous area and Mario will jump out of the way, then it will lunge onto the floating platform you used a moment ago.

Get on the platform again and the weight will cause you to move down to a lower level. Head west and get the Baahammer stickers out of the Item Block and off the wall, then enter the next room. This is a Sticker Shop, which sells nothing but Shiny, Flashy, and Big Shiny stickers (press L or move left to go to the Big Shiny ones). Buy/sell whatever you need, then head west to a pipe. Jump above the flower on the left side to find a hidden Shiny Jump sticker, then jump on the pipe and get on the eastern edge. Jump across to the Item Block to hit it and get a Shiny Leaf sticker. Ignore the pipe for now and climb up the ledges to an Item Block with a Shiny Fire Flower sticker inside. There's another one on the wall, too; once you get both of them, head east and past the Fire Bro to the next room. Here, you'll see the Big Chain Chomp tied to a stake. Enter battle with it since you don't have a choice, and make sure you have some Baahammer stickers. If you don't, you'll have to go buy some at the Sticker Shop in here. You cannot damage the Chain Chomp, so use a Baahammer to put it to sleep and then run from it.

Once you successfully run away, you're free to get the two Shiny Leaf stickers. Hammer the stake the Chain Chomp is tied to, then engage it again. Use your worst stickers until it wakes up, then it will dash towards you and the battle will end. It will land on the floating platform along with the other one, so drop down to the left and you'll be taken down even further. Head west and pound the four stakes in, starting from the left, to get a Line Jump sticker, a battle with two Spear Guys, a Big Shiny 1UP sticker, and another Spear Guy battle. On the right, pound them in to get a Shiny Fire Flower, another Spear Guy battle, and a Megaflash Clone Jump sticker. Oh, and one of them will unchain the Chain Chomp on the ceiling, which you need to do. When you're done here, go west and to the next room.

In this room, head onto the small ledge overlooking the area. The camera will pan around it; drop onto a gushing platform, then to the floor below. Jump to the next platform which will take you upwards; keep following the path around the room like this and you'll soon come to a Slaphammer sticker. When you use the next gushing platform, you'll notice it takes you up two levels; jump to the top platform and defeat the two Fire Piranhas to access the Item Blocks. They contain the Shiny Jump and Flashy Hopslipper stickers. Get the Shiny Leaf sticker off the wall and head back down, and this time jump to the lower platform on your way down. When you make it, hit the Item Block there for a Flashy Fire Flower sticker. Now use the platform in front of it to go down, then jump to the left and get the Shiny Leaf sticker out of the Item Block. Get the Hammer sticker on the wall as well, then go east and use the next platform to go up. On that platform, peel off the Bowser sticker to release the third and final Big Chain Chomp.

Jump off to the south and leave this room. Back here, get on the center platform again and you'll be taken further down, this time to an HP-Up Heart on the left. Grab it, and if you want a shortcut back to the Sticker Shop, enter the pipe on the right. Regardless, head west and up the ledges and prepare for a boss battle against this world's boss!

BOSS: Petey Piranha

  • HP: 300
  • Weakness: N/A

That's right, unlike the other world bosses, this one has no weakness! The only problem is you can't use the Battle Spinner because you need Kersti to activate it. This fight isn't too bad, though it may seem that way at first. Use your weaker stickers on it, because you won't be dealing much damage anyway. It attacks by spitting a glob at Mario (when hit, you may get inflicted with the Soggy status effect), and by flying over and landing on him. He can also bite Mario three times for 7 damage a pop. Eventually he will spin towards you; at this point, he'll lose his balance. Use a Hammer sticker, or a POW Block sticker to knock him over, exposing his weak point. He'll be immobile for a couple turns, so unleash your best stickers on him now. I used a Flashy Infinijump and got his HP under 100 after the jumps were finished.

Once he's under 100 HP, he'll spit Kersti out and you can use the Battle Spinner again. Wait until you can knock him over again, and you basically just repeat the same strategy for the rest of the fight. Also if you use Jump stickers on his weak point, he'll spit out some normal stickers and occasionally a Dry Bones as well, but it's not much of an issue.

When the battle is over, grab the fifth Royal Sticker to finish this world and receive the eighth and final Album Page. Yay! Now that we have finished the first five worlds, let's move on to the last stretch of the game.

World 6

World 6-1: Gate Cliff

Item Checklist

  • Scraps
    • Hidden Bowser Castle

There's not much to do here, and you can't progress unless you have the five Royal Stickers. Exit onto the outer deck of the boat and Kersti will sense a power emenating from the Royal Stickers. Select them all one by one to create a light around the cliff, then paperize and peel off the Hidden Bowser Castle scrap. Paperize it back on to reveal Bowser's castle, which will take to the skies. How do you get up there? Simple: go back to World 3-3 and enter the Wiggler's home. Speak to him and he'll offer to take you to the castle. Before you do that though, go to 3-6 and buy some Tail and Shiny Tail stickers. When you're ready, choose to take off to Bowser's castle by speaking to the Wiggler. But first, we have to prepare for...

We have to get through this level before we can go on to the final battle. When you enter, save your game at the Save Block, then head east and you'll find the mole enemies from Super Mario Bros. 3, called Rocky Wrenches. Watch out for the wrenches they throw, and get the Shiny Jump sticker before entering the door to the next room. In there, defeat the Ice Bro and hit the Item Block three times for a Chillhammer and Ice Flower sticker, as well as a Recovery Heart. Get the Tail sticker after the defeating the Goomba, then head down the stairs. In this room, get the Slaphammmer sticker and head down. Hit the Item Block for a Shiny Fire Flower sticker, then peel off the Shiny Jump sticker on the nearby wall. Jump on the Bob-ombs to destroy them one by one, then head through the northern doorway, Out here, drop down two levels and you'll find another Shiny Jump sticker. Watch out for the Bullet Bills, then enter the big door nearby. Inside, go right and get another Shiny Jump sticker, then head west and peel the Tail sticker off the crates. Jump up the crates to a Bowser sticker; peel it off to flip part of the wall over. Now drop down head up the stairs back to the room where all the Bob-ombs were located, then head through the northern door again.

Back in this area, drop down onto the new platform and peel off the Shiny Hammer sticker. Jump to the right and enter the door. In the next room, head down the stairs and you'll see a giant cannon shooting out Banzai Bills. Paperize yourself and peel it off to get the Banzai Bill Cannon scrap, then paperize it again to make it face the other way. It will shoot out a Banzai Bill that will destroy a couple walls; head east through two of them to a new room. Hit the Item Block for a Tail sticker, then climb up the crates and go up the stairs. Ignore or fight the Hammer Bros and head up more stairs to another room. Defeat the Fire Bro and Boomerang Bro in this room, then get the Shiny Hopslipper sticker off the table and go through the door. Out here, you'll see that the airship is tilting, causing some of the crates to slide back and forth as well. Go west to a Slaphammer sticker on the wall, then go east and up the ledges (you'll have to defeat the Rocky Wrenches, or get past them during Mario's invincibility period after being hit).

At the top, use the Recovery Block and go north. Jump on the green box to the railing, then go west to what appears to be a dead end. Jump across to the sliding crate to the south when you can, then jump across to the blue crate and to the other moving crate, then to the platform ahead. After this, you'll reach Bowser Jr. and engage in another battle with him!

BOSS: Bowser Jr.

  • HP: 300

The moment the battle begins, he will put a capsule up over his head; in other words, a defense shield. You won't be able to deal a lot of damage to him because of this. However, there's a trick to it that makes this fight pretty easy. Equip a Tail sticker (just use one and Mario will put it on). When Bowser Jr. attacks, he'll spit out spike balls or fireballs from his copter. That's when you reflect it back at him with your Tail by pressing A before the attack hits you. Fireballs deal a minor amount of damage, but spike balls do 50. Once he's reached 100 HP or lower, his shield will break, but it doesn't really matter because you should just keep reflecting his attacks back at him using your Tail stickers. Using this strategy, you'll win the fight within minutes.

After the battle, he gets blasted offscreen, for good. Now touch the comet piece to finish the level; time for the final level!

World 6-3: Bowser's Sky Castle

Item Checklist

None

  • NOTE: Before you enter here, stock up on plenty of Flashy Mushroom stickers, the best Tail stickers you can get, the Shaved Ice and/or Refrigerator sticker(s), the Tape sticker (it's a Thing that's found in one of the Secret Doors), any Scissors stickers, and plenty of powerful non-Thing stickers. Also go restore your HP at Decalburg, if you need to.

We're finally here! Enter the castle through the huge doors. Inside, first make sure to sort your Sticker Album, and try to memorize where some of your multi-hitting stickers are. Head down the hallway to a door at the end; open it to find Kamek. He will fight you one last time.

BOSS: Kamek

  • HP: 20

The battle will begin by him doing the same thing he did before: turning all of your stickers into sandals. The reason I told you to memorize the locations of the multi-hit ones is because they'll still hit multiple times despite being sandals. He will also split himself into three this time! However, this isn't a matter of figuring out which one's "real" since they all are, they just share HP. Use the Battle Spinner to get multiple attacks and end this quickly. If you destroy all but one, he'll split his HP into three different targets again. He attacks by using his magic on Mario, or simply dashing towards him. If he flies up, you have no choice but to waste a turn. Either way, this battle should be over relatively quickly.

Once you win, you'll defeat him for good and we can continue onward. At this point, I really suggest going out of this level to heal and save, and restock on stickers you used against Kamek. Regardless, open the doors in front of you and you'll be in a room with a torn up carpet over a pit of spikes. Run across it and it will begin moving; don't let it catch up with you and just keep running, jumping over a few obstacles on the way. The last obstacle will move up and down; when it moves down, jump over it. You will then be taken to the next area. There, go east and you'll find...Princess Peach! Yay! But of course, it won't be that easy; Bowser enters the room and you engage him in the final battle.

FINAL BOSS: Bowser

There are five phases in total to this battle. I will explain what to do in each phase. However, first let's go over Bowser's attacks. He can breathe fire on you for about 10 damage, which can be defended against if timed properly. He can also lunge at you with his shell, and jump on you. Also, you cannot jump on him with anything other than Iron Boots unless you combine the sticker with a Super Boot. That being said, let's get on with the phases.

Phase 1

  • HP: 400

For this phase, Bowser will send three minions out the windows: a Swoop, Fire Bro, and Spike Top. It will always be these three enemies. Start by using the Tape sticker to tape them up, preventing any reinforcements from showing up when you kill the current enemies onscreen. Get rid of them and pound away at Bowser until he runs off and Mario follows him. This begins the second phase.

Phase 2

  • HP: 350

A giant Whomp will be guarding Bowser this time around, and he'll restore himself back to full HP (though he only has 350 maximum HP now). To finish it off, use any kind of Eekhammer sticker and time it properly. You will knock it down. On your next turn, use a Scissors sticker and you'll tear it apart. Now you're free to attack Bowser, and once he takes enough damage, you'll move onto the next part of the fight.

Phase 3

  • HP: 300

Now he has 300 maximum HP and will restore himself to full again. Along the sides of the field are fireballs jumping out of the lava; Bowser will use these fireballs against you when he gets a turn. Use the Shaved Ice or Refrigerator sticker to freeze them in place, meaning Bowser will not be able to attack you at all now! At least, for a few turns. Whack away at him until the next phase starts, but be wary of the fireballs, because as far as I know it's impossible to block all of them.

Phase 4

  • HP: 250

Next, he'll have 250 maximum HP, will be fully restored, and summon a small Chain Chomp. Use a Tail/Shiny Tail sticker and when the Chain Chomp goes to attack, whack it away with the tail and it will hit Bowser, knocking him off the platform and making him fall to his death. Suddenly, the fight will end and Kersti will say that the Royal Sticker fell with him. Approach Kersti and...yep, it's not over yet.

Phase 5

  • HP: 500

This is it, the true final battle. Now you can target Bowser's arms and his head. At first, waste three turns healing/using stickers you don't care for. Bowser will attack by slapping Mario or slamming his arms down on him. After three turns of this, Kersti comes out and says that it's hopeless to win unless she turns herself into a sticker. She does so and she gets added to your album! Use her and the Battle Spinner will come up; don't waste your coins enhancing it because it's guaranteed to be a jackpot. You will gain five sticker slots and restore 20 HP!

Now use this to your advantage by using a Super Boot, followed by your strongest Jump stickers. This part of the battle is by far the easiest since you'll be dealing a hell of a lot of damage with each hit, especially the initial one. If you don't have any Super Boots then this will be slightly more difficult, but basically, just unleash everything you've got at him at this point. He can also breathe fire on you now for 15 unguarded damage, with an added bonus of burning random stickers off the Album Page you're turned to, so be careful of that. His arms will also break off the more damage you deal, and once both are gone, all you've gotta do is finish him off. Congratulations!

Well, that's it! You've officially beaten the game. Peel the Bowser sticker off of Peach and enjoy the ending sequence. Also, your game will be saved after they're over, and the new Toad at the Sticker Fest just lets you view the ending credits again. Nothing particularly interesting.

They can be turned into useable stickers by visiting the Toad in Decalburg, on the westernmost screen, who becomes available after finishing world 1-2. You can also buy back your Things you've turned into stickers at any time by visitng the Toad on the far western side of the same screen. However, you cannot have both the Thing and sticker of the same Thing at the same time. The Thing Stickers are used to solve puzzles and can also be used in battle; most of the bosses in the game have a weakness to a particular Thing sticker, to make the fight much easier.

There are enough HP-Up Hearts to make Mario's HP total to 100. Below is a list of all of them and where they're located.

Secret Doors

Throughout the game, you've probably noticed the door carvings on the walls in each level. These are spots where you can place Secret Door stickers, which lead to secret rooms that contain useful items (stickers and Things), and sometimes even shortcuts. Roughly half of the Things in the game are found in the secret doors. Once you reach World 3-6: Outlook Point, you can purchase Secret Door stickers from the Sticker Shop there. Place these on the wall carvings and you can enter them.

Secrets

Wiggler's Diary Entries

These are pretty easily missable. In World 3-3, you may have noticed the diary on the table inside the treehouse. It's empty at first, but it's possible to fill it up to read the Wiggler's diary entries. These are the only permanent missables in the game (except for the last one), and they have to be gotten before you reassemble all four of Wiggler's segments. Each time you obtain a segment, it will follow you until you take it to the treehouse. Take it to a specific location before going to the treehouse, and the Wiggler will write about the experience in the diary. Below is the spots where you should take each segment (you can't use the same place more than once, however, and have to take all four to seperate locations).

  1. World 3-2: The Bafflewood: Near the end of the level, walk through the dandelion.
  2. World 3-6: Outlook Point: Head up the hill overlooking the sunken ship.
  3. World 3-8: Tree Branch Trail: Head to the hot springs. The segment will jump in.
  4. World 3-10: Stump Glade: With a segment following you, play the Snifit or Whiffit games again.
  5. Surfshine Harbor: Obtained during the course of the story.

Luigi

In each world, with the exception of World 6, you can find Luigi in a specific location and a specific level. When you spot him, you can paperize and pull him out by hovering over him and holding A. He will then run out of the scene. If you find him in all five locations, he'll be in the ending credits. You can also go to the eastern screen in Decalburg, enter the westernmost house, and check the newspapers. It updates each time you find Luigi.

Location How To Find
World 1-6 You'll spot him in the background on the way to the boss.
World 2-5 He's in a window in the outside area where you get one of the scraps.
World 3-12 Before you go to the ship, get on the pier and look in the background.
World 4-5 In the third area of the chairlift ride, on one of the lifts.
World 5-5 In the hot spring area, soaking in the hot spring west of yours.

Super Flag Achievements

After finishing World 1-6, go to the Sticker Fest and you'll find some Super Flags. Examine these flags to see how far you've come on a specific achievement. Finishing these achievements doesn't really do anything, just gives you bragging rights. I will list these achievements below.

  1. Collect every Comet Piece
  2. Spend 10,000 or more coins at shops (Sticker Shops only. The Thing shop doesn't count)
  3. Activate all Secret Doors
  4. Get an "Excellent" in-battle 1,000 or more times
  5. Get every HP-Up Heart (100 HP total)
  6. Collect every sticker
  7. Get a Perfect Bonus 500 or more times
  8. Get a jackpot on the Battle Spinner 50 or more times

Sticker Museum

Once you get the ability to paperize, head back to Decalburg. Paperize yourself and peel the fountain off to obtain the Decalburg Fountain scrap, and unwrap a Toad that was stuck. He'll thank you and take off to the building that was locked at the start of the game. Follow him inside and he'll show you his Sticker Museum, which he somehow built all by himself. The place is huge, having several doors that lead to hallways where you place stickers to display them. Turn your Things into stickers and paperize them onto the shining silhouettes to put them on display (this makes you lose the sticker though, so you'll have to re-obtain it). He also puts an amusing description up of them (the Thing stickers in particular). There are a total of 96 Battle Stickers and 64 Thing Stickers, so have fun collecting them all! Also, you'll know if you have a new sticker to place in a hallway if there's light shining from the door.

For finishing the Battle Stickers in the museum, you unlock the Enemy Viewer. For finishing the Thing stickers, you unlock the Sound Test, where you can listen to the game's various music.
