Introduction

Thank you for visiting my guide. Firstly, I would like you to know that I write these guides for fun and hope that they help you. I love when I get emails from you saying you enjoyed the guide or have a question. I would also appreciate it if you'd recommend this guide to other FAQ readers by simply hitting the "click here" at the top of this guide.

My purpose for this guide is to make sure that you are able to get a 100% game experience. This means finding all items, exploring all of areas, and seeing all events. I do my best to make these walkthroughs with as few spoilers as possible.

For this guide, I will write it as a step-by-step guide, leading you to the all the locations. If you are simply looking for an item location, check the checklists at the end of the guide to find the item you are looking for and the easiest location to get that item.

This game's controls are fairly similar to most other JRPG's with free control combat (most notably Star Ocean 4).

Battle

Like other JRPG's today, Tales of Graces f has gone away with the random encounter system. This means that you can avoid battles by simply avoiding touching the 3d avatar on screen. On a side note, the in-game tutorials give you a lot of information on the battle system. Make sure to read these as well as my notes if you are having trouble with battles.

Battle Basics

The battle has some basic info that it will give you throughout the first chapter, but I will cover some tips here:

• You can open the battle menu by hitting Triangle. This allows you to manual use items, change equipment, and even change your artes.
  • Hold R1 to view enemy info and change targets
  • Use the directional pad to change your active character

Moving the Character

Characters move in a straight line toward or away from their target at zero CC cost. This is different than previous Tales games. The good news is that you can hold down L2 and move freely around the area, the bad news is that this takes up your valuable CC. Luckily, for a happy medium we have the side-step. If you hold down the Square button and hit the Left Analog, your character will side-step around your targeted enemy.

HP Gauge

Like all RPG's, your characters have a certain amount of Hit Points. When this reaches zero they are rendered unconscious.

Guarding & Auras

When guarding by holding Square you not only get decreased damage, but you get aura effects around your character that give bonuses.

• Blue - Critical Gauge Increase
  • Green - Enemies cannot stagger you when you start to attack (Iron Stance)
  • Red - Break through enemy guard when you attack

Critical Gauge

This gauge is located under the characters HP. When full, characters will perform a critical hit and Chain Capacity (CC) will increase by one. This can be done multiple times to increase your Max CC in battle, allowing you to do more chains. Note that getting hit will lower the gauge as well.

Eleth Gauge/Eleth Burst

Chain Capacity (CC)

Each character has a set value of CC based on their current equipment and level. This number donates how many actions outside of basic movement and defense that each character can perform. Each action requires 1 CC, but can cost more (see Artes). You can refill your CC by standing still/guarding or performing specific actions during battle. You can increase your maximum CC by changing equipment, gaining levels or by filling your Critical Gauge. Conversely, your maximum can go down by taking too many hits and depleting the same bar.

• Note that back-attacking an enemy on the field will give you extra CC at the start of battle.

Combo Counter

The number in the upper right corner of your battle screen represents the number of attacks that have been chained together. Attacking an enemy's weakness will increase the damage output you do within a combo chain. Hitting all of an enemy's weaknesses will multiply your damage output even further.

Artes

There are two kinds of artes in Tales of Graces f: Assault and Burst. The major difference between the two is that A-Artes are your physical attacks and B-Artes are generally magical. Other differences are that A-Artes have a smaller range than B-Artes, but are quicker and A-Artes use Physical Attack, while B-Artes use Cryas Attack power.

• A-Artes are set up like a tree chain. You start with a 1 CC cost skill and work your way up to a 4 CC cost skill. This means that a full chain costs you 10 CC (1 CC + 2 CC + 3 CC + 4 CC = 10 CC). You start with only a few A-Artes, but can learn more through titles or levels.

• B-Artes are accessed in adulthood and can be unleashed by using O instead of X to attack.
  • There is a lot of hidden info when it comes to Asbel's unsheath and sheathing his sword. Make sure to read the tips on this in your library.
    • Some B-Artes require you to charge them by holding O. You can continue to hold O even once ready to add an attribute or unleash it when you want.
      • Note that many spells cast time can be lowered by using A-Artes and then a B-Arte at the end. The more A-Artes you chain to a B-Arte, the lower the cast time.

Mystic Artes

When the Eleth Burst occurs there is an added bonus, other than just unlimited CC, called Mystic Artes. Mystic Artes are learned from titles you get through story events or sidequests. This adds a new gauge on the left hand side of the screen during an Eleth Burst that tracks your Mystic Arts' ability to go off. As long as it is 1 or higher you can unleash a Mystic Arte by pressing L1, unleashing a devastating combo.

• The number on the Mystic Artes gauge determines which Mystic Arte you'll use if you have more than 1.

Artes Menu

This is where you can view the artes learned by your characters and turn them off and on (for more control over what the AI does). See Artes for more info.

Titles Menu

Think of titles as a leveling system. What I mean, is that as you equip titles and master them, you will unlock Artes, gain stat bonuses, and upgrade your already learnt skills. These can be equipped to your character and then learned through collecting SP from battles or Requests. Once learned, you can unequip the titles and you will still have the skills, but lose the equip bonus from the title. Note that lower ranked skills are easier to learn than higher ones, but are less useful. It is a good idea to constantly swap titles to learn new skills or set auto equip by pressing Triangle in the Titles Menu. If you choose to keep a title on long enough, after learning all abilities, you can master it. This gives you added bonuses.

Mixer Menu

The Eleth Mixer will be given to you in adulthood. This gives you access to equip items into the Mixer via the Mixer Menu. There are three major things you can do:

• Dishes - Allows you to automatically cook (duplicate) food in or after battle for bonuses and healing.
  • Consumables and Materials - Duplicate your items as you walk around the field. You do NOT need 1 to duplicate it, but you have to have the item entry in your library. Note that some items have a higher chance of receiving than others. The rarer the item, the longer it takes to duplicate (if at all).
  • Book - Books use the Eleth in the Mixer to give you some bonuses. These can be battle bonuses, field bonuses, or even Mixer bonuses (like a 2 item return for each duplication of an item).

Your Eleth Mixer starts at a low level state with only a few slots and a low maximum Eleth storable. To increase the slots you will need to duplicate items. To increase the maximum Eleth, you need to cook dishes. I suggest you have at least 1-2 food that goes off after every battle to increase the maximum eleth, while still duplicating items to give you more slots for when you start getting books. See the [[Library]] for Item duplicating probability and Dish effects.

Library Menu

The Library is a place with books that tell you all the information you've learned from the game. These books will keep track of every item in the game to all the information you learn through gameplay and tutorials. Think of it as an information center.

Requests

Through the game you will unlock Inn Requests. These can be anything from consumables to gear to valuables you find in sidequests. Check each town inn for their own unique list. This will update over time and can be very annoying. Your best bet is to leave and fight some battles and come back for the updated list.

Dualizing

Dualize is Grace f's version of synthesis from other JRPG's with the same mechanics. By going to any shop or Turtlez merchant you can select Dualize. This allows you to combine two items to make a new one. This can be anything from materials to equipment and produces things like consumables, dishes, new gear, and even items that are just to sell and make money. In adulthood, you can also use this to upgrade your weapons with shards to add effects and make them stronger.

Walkthrough

On start-up, you will need to check your game settings and confirm that you like them. You can change these at any time in the Options menu, so you can leave the default for now if you want.

Chapter 1: Childhood

From now on, all headings for new areas will have a checklist at the top. This will include all items, equipment (including items obtained through new characters' initial equipment), valuables, skits, titles, and enemies.

All items will be marked with an entry number and checkbox, in case you have printed out the library checklist and wish to mark them off as you find/make every item.

Note that enemies have 2 checkboxes: one for an entry and another for the Soul Orbs. I will only be listing enemies for an area the first time you go there or if there is a new addition to the area.

As soon as you gain control, follow the path and on the left is a treasure chest with Apple Gel x3. Continue on and encounter your first monster and the first battle tutorial. This will teach you the basics of combat.

After the battle, continue forward to the small waterfall area and you will learn about skits and watch the Wellspring of Deceit skit. Now, head east at the split to another treasure with a Glassphere inside. You can now go north and encounter your first save point. Directly east of this is a treasure with a Life Bottle. Now, continue to the next screen for a scene.

After the scene, you will need to head back to Lhant. But first, drop by the save for the skit Rebel Without a Cause.

Instead of heading east to Lhant, head west past the guards to a shining spot on the ground.

Continue northwest for a treasure chest with another Glassphere. You can now head east to the save for the skit Seek the Sparkles! and then go south to reach Lhant.

After the scene, Cheria will join your party and snag your flower. You can now freely roam the town and talk to whoever you want, including the chicken.

We can't go to Cheria's house in the northeast of town, but we can explore everywhere else. Head to the house just south of the town's windmill and talk to the dog to receive an Apple Gel. You can also speak to the Elderly Woman for a Pickled Plum and check the closet for some Pork x2.

Continue down the stairs and head to the center of the bridge for the skit Poor Choice of Words. Now, follow the wall to Asbel's house (the dude has a town in his families name... of course he has a mansion). After a scene, you can head inside and view the skit Family Ties at the save point. You can take a nap by talking to the maid here and Frederic for information. Head upstairs to the right and enter the kids' room. If you check by Asbels' desk you can get the skit called Rash Justice and the Enemy Book.

You should now head outside and back to town. Cross the bridge and make sure to talk to the guard on the bridge to open up the west exit of town. On the other side, head west for a scene that nets you the Discovery Book. You can now check the tree for Apple x3, the Apple Trees discovery, and the skit The Fruit of Ignorance. Now, talk to the guard who gave you the apples and say "We're not little kids!" to answer his questions for 100 Gald. The answers are: Wolf Pup, Wooly Boar, and Giant Bee.

You can now go east to the shops. I suggest you buy the Manual Manual from the Item Shop (sell some random drops you got if needed). Now head back to the windmill for the Lord Windegarde discovery. Make sure to climb up and get the Full of Hot Air skit. Now go to Asbel's house for the Family Portrait discovery and the Age Is Just a Number skit.

When you're ready, leave town to West Lhant Road by the apple tree.

Head to the save point and watch the Boys and Boats skit. Continue up the road a little for a possible sparkle and then continue onward. In the tall grass to the northeast of the person by the tree you can find another sparkle. Make sure to check the tree the traveler is looking at to discover the Gel Seeds, netting you Gel Seed x3 and the skit Not for Human Consumption. The treasure chest here contains a Glassphere.

Continue along the path and there will be a bend west. You should see a sparkle near the tree here. Continue along the path to the beach and talk to Turtlez who teaches you about Dualizing, or rather, Synthesis. To the west of this is the Traveling Beastmaster where you get to watch a scene for more info on the unknown girl. Afterward, head to the save for the Abracadabra skit. Now, head southwest on the beach is a treasure with Rice x5 and another sparkle point. There is also another sparkling point on the beach.

On your way back to Lhant, you can talk to the Gel Seeds again for more items. These respawn just like the sparkle points when you leave a zone for any reason.

Head to the manor for a scene, but do not go inside. Instead, go to Cheria's house and talk to her for an interesting scene. Afterward, talk to her again to get an Apple Gel.

Now, head to the manor and inside the west room on the first floor to meet Asbel's dad. Afterward, you will get the Lord's Heir title. Now, head upstairs to the west room to overhear a conversation. You should head out of the manor now for a scene that eventually gets you the Named after a Flower title. Now head back to Asbel's room/desk for the skit Chronic Uncertainty.

You can now leave town from the exit near the shops.

Head directly to the save point for the skit A Cheeky Retort. You will want to head north, down to the river, to get the treasure with Apple Gel x2. If you walk through the blue rocks in the riverbed you can discover the Cryas Shards and watch the Little Treasures skit. In this same area, in the northeast corner by the downed tree, is a rare sparkle point. You should now continue along the path east for a scene and a fight.

There is nothing else to do, so head to Lhant. Make sure to get the A Wild Seed Takes Root skit at the save point.

Head for the Lhant manor, but instead of entering the front doors go east to the side of the building (by walking right up to the front door and going behind the pillar). Enter the building for a scene. You will need to head to the front of the manor for the fight.

Your party setup will change to just Sophie and Asbel in your fighting party, as Richard does not fight. Head toward the bridge for the skit A Wild Seed Bears Fruit and then leave for Lhant Hill.

We've already cleared out this area, but you may not have gotten the Magic Carta No. 4 from the sparkling points on your last visit. Make sure to talk to the two guards near Lhant Hill to get an Apple Gel, before entering Lhant Hill.

You can now discover the Spring of Healing that you have probably used multiple times. When ready, head for the meadow where we met Sophie. I knew Bryce was a douchebag, but seriously?

Boss: No. 176: Bryce

Richard has finally decided to contribute something to the party, which is nice of him. Before you even take one step up the ramp, grab the treasure with the Pickled Plum x3. You should also be able to get the skit Face Time in the beach area. Head up the ramp and you will likely run into the first of many events that require you to tap X quickly to avoid falling. You can avoid these by holding O to walk.

Continue around the corner, hugging the wall and across the small bridge that leads to a treasure with Life Bottle x2. If you approach the nest just a little further up the path you can discover the Abandoned Nest and get the skit A Brother's Pride. Now continue for a scene just past the save point. After the fight, you can get the skit About Face. You can now go east to grab the Glassphere and then climb up the roots. After the scene, you will get the Pact Maker title and the skit The Meaning of Friendship. Make sure to examine the tree to discover the Friendship Tree and watch The Facts on Pacts skit.

You now need to head back to Lhant, but get the skit Fight or Fright at the spring first.

Back in Lhant you will get a striking scene with Aston... This dude is MEAN! After some scenes, you will get Richard's Ring. After some funny scenes, you will be on your way to East Lhant Highroad.

At the save point, you will be able to see the You Can't Force It skit. Head east to where you fought the Pairie Eagle and then go east across the stone bridge to a sparkle point. South of this is a treasure with a Glassphere. Follow the path until you get a funny scene. Afterward, head to the save to access the skit Weird Is Weird. Inside the cottage, grab the 100 Gald or Manual Manual if you didn't buy it already. Back outside, grab the sparkling point to the southeast before heading up the hill.

Follow the path until you reach a split. On the cliff, facing over the cows, there should be a sparkling point. South (compass south) of this is a treasure with 300 Gald. Head down the path and examine the odd colored cow to discover the Windor Cows and get Milk x1 as well as the Stick and Mooove skit. Now head down the northern path toward the port.

In the port, talk to the kid hanging outside the shop full of chairs and tables to receive Rice and then head into the building. Check the cabinets here for Bread x2 and Lettuce x2. Back outside, talk to the traveler next to the Turtlez for Dried Seaweed. When ready, board the ship for Barona.

Head into town for a scene and a surprising familiar face. When you can, head up the steps and talk to the Elderly Woman on the bench for a Feather. Continue down the steps to talk to a guard and get a Tomato. The building to the east is the Inn. At the save you can view the Through the Ringer skit. Upstairs, you can enter a room that has a closet full of Dried Seaweed x3. Now exit and head north past the shops to the Castle District.

Head east straight away and enter the house to examine the cabinets for Pie Sheet x2 and Egg x2. Exit and head all the way west now. When you see the two women chatting, veer up the steps to the northeast and talk to the left guard for a scene. The two women have moved, so go to where they were.

After the hilarious scene, examine the valkines cryas to get the discovery Gloandi and the skit Everything Worth Knowing. Instead of heading to the northern gate, head back down to the lower city and back to the Inn to see the skit To Be a Knight and Pact Attack at the save point. You can now head east of the Inn for a scene. Now, leave Barona to the north, but you can get a fun scene by talking to the Equipment Shop owner on your way out.

Head west at the split to find a treasure with a Glassphere inside. Now, head back and north to a sparkling point that may yield the rare Magic Carta No. 2. Continue north to a treasure with Beef x2 inside. Past the cabin, up the hill, you will get a scene. On the way back down, you may find a sparkling point in the flowers. I suggest you head into the cabin, even though there is nothing there, to respawn the sparkling points as you head back to town.

Head back to the Inn for a scene... okay, what happened to him? After the scene, you will get the Second-Born Son title for Hubert, who rejoins the party. You can now speak to the Innkeeper to rest until nightfall. When you have control, enter the previously locked room next door and grab the Rice x3 from the closet. Exit the inn and head to the Castle District and then go east all the way for a scene.

Once on the inside, examine the shining water to discover the [[Water of Absolution (Discovery)]] and obtain Water of Absolution x3 and the skit The Boy Who Knew Everything. You can check the other side of the altar to enter the catacombs.

Follow the path until you reach a stone door where you can view the Revenge Will Be Mine! skit. Continue on and up the bridge to open the chest with 500 Gald inside before going along the west path. You will want to head down the path first to get the Apple Gel x3 before going up the path and continuing on. Eventually, you will come to a chest with a Glassphere inside, grab it and continue north. At the next split, go up the path to get a Life Bottle before taking the lower path to a save and the skit Sticky Situation.

Boss: No. 170: Monarch Bat

Chapter 2: Adulthood (Part I)

You will automatically start the next chapter in battle to learn about B-Artes. Asbel sure has grown up pretty well with Malik as his mentor. After the scene, talk to Malik to gain access to the Eleth Mixer. You should use this right away to start increasing the max energy and max capacity. You can learn more by viewing the information on the Mixer Menu. Also note that you have new gear and new titles (some of which depend on hours played and battles fought).

As soon as you have control, head to the save for the Walking the Point skit. Head on the linear path and at the split, head north to a chest with 800 Gald. Head around the bend, but at the river take the vine south to find a Life Bottle x2. Now continue and you should come to a chest with a Wood Chunk inside. Continue north until you reach the chest with an Iron Tunic and then head back to Turtlez. East of Turtlez is the Morino Flowers discovery, Morino Flower item, and the Flower Power skit.

Head east across the bridge and then south to a boulder that you can push to create a shortcut. Head east now and grab the chest with Apple Gel x3. You can now go northeast to the chest with a Chipped Claw before heading west to a save and on further for a scene. When you have control, talk to Malik to receive Apple Gel x3. Now, head to the west side of the town for a scene and then head to the area east of Malik for another scene. Finally, head back to the west side of town for a fight.

Boss: No. 111: Nova Wolf

With Malik back in your party, you can head to the save for the skit Hidden Talents.

Almost as soon as you enter, there will be a scene in which you obtain the World Map. Head west and you should see a chest with Pork x2 inside. If you head south of this, to the sign, you can discover the Tea Fields, gain Tea Leaves x3, and get the That Certain Something skit. Head west and you may see a sparkling point. Now head south at the split for another sparkling point and Pasta x2. Now head west to a familiar road and a scene.

After the scene, view the Out of the Clouds skit. Although the cottage was useless before, it now contains a chest with Pie Sheet x3. Head toward town, grabbing the restocked chests with Apple Gel x2 and 360 Gald.

As soon as you head into town you should notice the new stand with the jumping girl inside. Examine it to discover the Ice Pops and The Win Stick skit.

You can now buy Ice Pop's for 60 Gald each here. Head east into the house which has restocked its cabinets with Pie Sheet x2 and Egg x2. You can also talk to the Mother for Pie Sheet x3. Continue east and give the poor cat one of your Salmon. Now head all the way west to the valkines cryas and as you enter/exit you can see a chest in the lower right corner of this area that contains the Magic Carta No. 30. Now head to the Lower City.

At the shops you can find new items. I suggest you buy the Paralysis Charm, which should automatically net you the Stamp Card Case. You might as well buy any equipment you don't have as well (since you have tons of money, most likely).

Head south and then west to the old man on the bench for a sparkling point that gets you Night Lily Seeds. If you head to the Barona Port and along the long pier, you can get a chest with Pie Sheet x3. Now head to the Inn to the east of the central area of Lower City and check the upstairs rooms' closets for Dried Seaweed x3 and Best Princess Stories. Make sure to also use the save for the skit Final Exam and Stamp Collectors.

Head to the Knight Academy now, and talk to the man on the left for a Rice Ball. Now, head west into a room with a chest that requires a password. Enter treasure to get the Elixir. To the right of this, in the corner, is an Ice Pop. We can finally go to the bar by taking the steps to the right of the old man on the bench.

Before actually entering the bar, go around the side for a chest with a Moji-kun Plushie inside. Inside the bar, watch the scene. Afterward, grab the Royal Knights' Documents from the bottom right corner of the bar. Now head back toward the Academy for a scene. You will receive the Letter from Mom and have to head to Lhant.

With Cheria in your party, check out the huge statue of the buff headmaster to discover the Headmaster's Bust and the skit Time Out of Mind. Instead of going to the docks, head to castle for a conversation with the knight who you previously showed Richard's Ring to as a kid for a quick scene. You can also stop by the valkines cryas and talk to the knight for an Exceed Shard. Now head for the port, but instead of entering it go east to the pile of boxes. You can grab onto and move the boxes to gain access to a chest with an Hourglass. You can now head to Lhant via the boat (which doesn't give you a kids discount anymore).

Everything has reset on the Highroad, so make sure to grab the Milk x3 from the Windor Cow and the Feather nearby. When you reach the cottage you will be forced into a fight with an interesting outcome in the aftermath. At the cottage, grab the Decaying Fang, Bread x3 and watch the An Unseasonable Chill skit at the save. Now continue to Lhant, grabbing the 540 Gald and Iron Scabbard on the way.

After checking out the shops, head for Lhant Manor and talk to the maid to learn about Requests. Now, enter Aston's room and enter the code Aston in the chest to receive the All-Divide. Now check the bookcases for the Best Princess Stories.

Head toward the windmill and grab the easy-to-see treasure for a Noko Plushie before entering the house. Inside the closet you get more Pork x2 before leaving to climb the windmill and claiming the Magic Carta No. 29. While we can finally enter Cheria's house, there is nothing inside.

Head west and grab the first chest with a Pretty Ribbon. Now head toward Lhant Hill's path to find the Frozen in Time skit on the right side of the road. Continue west for a treasure with 1000 Gald and when ready, leave to the Border Fortress via the west path. You will be forced into a fight. After the scene, you will be unable to attack the Helmcrusher dead on, so head to Lhant Hill.

Head inside, grabbing the chests with the 180 Unit(s) of Eleth, Nameless Seed, Life Bottle x2, and Poison Needle. When ready, save and head for the meadow. Enjoy the cutscene and a familiar addition to your party before taking the Helmcrusher head on.

After the scene, head down the cliffside to gather the restocked treasures with a Poison Charm, Panacea Bottle x2, Pretty Anklet, and an Eleth Bottle C. You can now head out, but make sure to get the skit Sophie's Sacrifice at Lhant Hill's save point.

Watch the scene when you return to town and then head to the Lhant manor for a scene. After the scene, grab the Assorted Flowers from the sparkling spot in the manor gardens. Now head to Asbel's room and take a nap for a scene, as well as two scenes on the way there. Now head to the study. After the scenes, you can head toward the Border Fortress.

Before you leave make sure each of your characters has some protection from Poison.

Follow the path until you get a scene and then head back to Lhant Hill's entrance for the Holding the Line skit. Now continue toward the new area of North Lhant Road where the Turtlez waits and a sparkling point on the beach. There is also a chest with Life Bottle x2 in the corner.

As soon as you have control, open the chest with 1500 Gald inside. Continue, grabbing the Apple Gel x3, and continuing for the Everything is Intact skit. There's nowhere else to go so jump in the water.

On the other side, enjoy the scene and then watch the Diving In skit. Hang a left to a cavern area with a Eleth Bottle C and Syrup Bottle x2. Head back to the water area and hug the right wall until you can jump in the water again. This leads to a Steel Scabbard that you should grab before returning the way you came. Now head north. As you head around the outer area, check behind the pillars to get Life Bottle x3 before reaching the end and diving in.

Follow the path, grabbing the 1125 Gald, and then jumping in the water. Hang a left and hop in the water to reach a new area with Dark Bottle x2, 210 Unit(s) of Eleth, the Glintsoul Colony discovery, and Remembering the Past skit. Now, jump back in the water and continue north for Holy Bottle x2. Jump into the water between these two area until you get the Enough With the Water skit. Now continue onward.

In the huge open area, you should find a Mastery Tonic C in the water, the Deathglow Algae (Dis) discovery, Deathglow Algae x3, and Just a Bite skit. When you're ready, save and jump into the water.

Boss: No. 064: Queen Slime

When you have control again, walk toward the exit to get The Only One skit.

Instead of going north, hang a right toward the beach to grab a sparkling point and 720 Gald. Now, follow the path for a scene. After the scene, head north to the encampment and grab the Fur, the Vestiges of War discovery, and A Hopeless Cause skit. Follow the path south and grab the Shattered Bone on your way back to Lhant. Don't forget to stop by the Lhant Hill entrance for another skit All That Remains. Now continue to Lhant.

You will automatically be forced into a battle. I suggest you de-equip your new ally's Rune Guard for your own greedy needs. Enjoy the easy fight, with a fun ally, and then watch the scenes. Instead of heading inside, go to the house next to the windmill and talk to the Elderly Woman for Pickled Plum x3. Now head to the manor and enter the lower right room for Pasta x3 from the maid. You can now head to the study for a fight that you can't win (despite being able to make a dent).

On your way to Barona, stop by the cottage on East Lhant Highroad for a scene. Afterward, continue on to Barona.

There's not much to do here, so head to the Barona Catacombs via the Royal Sanctuary.

Sophie will impress you once again with her entering technique and then you can enter the catacombs. As soon as you enter, watch the Where All Was Lost skit. Head forward for a familiar ally will join your party. Afterward, continue on getting Sweet Revenge on that damned door. Check it to continue on.

When you reach the large skeleton, examine its head for the Massive Skeleton discovery and Time and Tide skit.

Chapter 3: Adulthood (Part II)

As soon as you have control, grab the Red Ribbon from the chest. Firstly, head north and examine the purple flowers for the Puffpetal Down (Dis) discovery, Puffpetal Down x3, and the skit A Place to Belong. Continue north and grab the Feather from the chest near the Barona zoneline. Afterward, head to the cottage for a scene and a fight.

You can now talk to the Turtlez for a lot of new items, some hinting at new weapon types for a new ally. There is also a skit here called Class Dismissed and a chest with a Paralysis Charm. Inside the cottage is Pasta x3 and a guy who hints at titles gained through opening multiple chests. If you had bad luck with sparkling points, like me, you may have to check the points on the beach and outside the cabin multiple times to get the Magic Carta No. 5.

When ready, head south from the cottage to grab a sparkling spot near the woman. Continue until you hit a funny scene that is very confusing, at first. After the event, there may be a sparkling point nearby and a chest with a Rusted Nail. Now go southeast for another scene. Before heading inside, grab the 658 Gald and watch the Bilateral Alliance skit.

Pascal will officially join your party and you will be on your way in this annoying dungeon. Head to the moving stone to the (compass) east and ride it across. These will be how you get around and what make this dungeon annoying. Take the only moving stone in this new area to get to a platform with enemies. Ride the western block across and then take the only stones you until you reach a split. Now take the eastern block to a platform with a green block that takes you to the next area. Take the northern block, which unlocks a gold one, and then head back up via the green block.

Now head back the way we came:

You will now want to take the southern block to a new area where the gold block has appeared to allow you to reach a chest with Scarlet Aroma and 258 Unit(s) of Eleth.

Now head back to the save:

Now go south on the block for a scene and a fight.

Boss: No. 266: Mercurius

Watch the scene and you will gain the In the Flesh title. Examine the console for the Projection Device discovery and Takes One to Know One skit. Now, take the block we didn't arrive from to go south and then ascend via the green block.

Take the south block to reach a Hyperdense Crystal and then east to move a purple block. Head back North and go East to a new platform, following the only path available to a Floral Anklet. At the split of green blocks, take the southern one first to a Book of Maintenance and then head back up and down the other side.

Take the only path you can, grabbing the Steel Tunic on the way, and when you reach the split take the eastern-most block to bump a gold one. Now take the southern one to a chest with Life Bottle x3. Head east to another green block and descend.

Take the only block you can and then examine the floating rocks for the Silent Stone discovery and Gut Archaeology skit. Now continue the linear path up and then warp out.

After the cutscene, head back into the ruins and watch the Touched in the Head skit. Take the northern blue block twice and then the western-most north block. You should see a purple block just west, take the northern-most west block to hit it. Now follow the other block all the way to a chest with Panacea Bottle x2. Now follow the northern path until you reach the Burn Charm.

Now head out of the ruins via this path:

Follow the path and to the southwest of Turtlez you may find a sparkling point with the rare drop Magic Carta No. 6. Continue south until you get a scene. Afterward, there may be a sparkling point just south of you. If you continue south you should come across the Potatoes discovery, Potato x3, and the Settling for Number Two and Risk Management skits. South of this is another sparkling point and a chest with 1920 Gald. Follow the path and continue west, instead of branching north, for a Moist Crystal and a sparkling point. Continue and when you reach the group of people, go east back to the road. You should see a treasure on the northern cliff that contains Peach Gel x2. You can now continue to town.

.

Head to the port in the east first. Follow the path until you actually reach the port area and you should see a chest with Pasta x3 on your right. A little further, hidden in the Turtlez transports usual alcove, you can find a cat to feed. You can now go back to town.

Head to the building to the left of the Item Shop and grab the Magic Carta No. 31. Now continue west and into the Inn, just past the Equipment Shop. Inside, watch the Who You Are skit and then head through the left hall to some boxes that contain a Best Princess Stories book. Exit the back door, and head east to discovery the Bells of Glory and see the That Would Explain a Lot topic. Continue east to a sparkling spot for some Canola Seeds across the road. Head north a little and read the red sign and turn the corner to find a well hidden Imp Plushie and a guy who you can haggle down to 3,000 Gald for the Book of Dissolution. Now leave town to the west.

.

Head west and grab the chest with 1300 Gald you come across. Follow the path and as you head north up a hill, look behind the western tree for an Overgrown Crystal. Continue north and just to the west of the man with the smiley face should be a sparkling spot in some tall grass.

North even more is a patch of orange that you can examine to discover Carrots, get Carrot x3, and watch the Weird Science skit. Across from this may be another sparkling point. Hug the east wall and you should come across a chest with a Mariner's Musk and a sparkling point. Back on the path north, you will eventually come to another chest with a Slow Charm and a sparkling spot. Going further will lead you back to East Lhant Highroad, if you want to go back to get enemy drops or Soul Orbs. There is also a skit called Overdue Maintenance there. You need to go back to Gralesyde now.

Head back to the main plaza and then go all the way north to Duke Dalen's Manor for some scenes. After the scenes, Asbel will gain the Sword of the King title. Instead of heading for Wallbridge, head to Dalen's Manor and check the upstairs chest (password: 4) for a Book of Wealth. Now, go downstairs and leave through the right door. Talk to the girl on the path to get the Magic Carta No. 22, Magic Carta No. 23, Magic Carta No. 26, and Magic Carta No. 27. Continue along to the beach to examine the bottle for Message in a Bottle discovery as well as the Jealous Much? skit. You can also examine the crab to get a Crab item. Now head to the Highroad.

Stop by the save point for The Ruins Entrance skit and then continue on to the ruins.

In order to get to Wallbridge, we have to go through Wallridge Ruins via the Highroad. After warping down, head north across the block for a skit Inside the Ruins. Head west and then use the green block to ascend where you get a scene and can warp out.

You start on 1D. Head north into 1C where you can grab an Elven Cloak from the chest. Climb the ladder, in the center of the room, up 2 floors to 2C (there is no middle floor here) and leave to the south. Head to the center of this area to find the save and the Sword of Salvation skit. Now go back to 2C and leave to the north. In 2B, go down 2 floors to 1B and pull the lever. This raises the northern bridge.

Now, leave through the northern door to get to 1A and find he 300 Year-Old Barrel and the Windor Rising skit. Head back to 1B and up the ladder 2 floors to get to 2B and then go all the way north to 2A for a Darkshine Crystal. Now climb up the ladder in this room and go down the other side to 2E for a chest with Book of Talent. Go south 2F and take the ladder all the way down to 1F to find Turtlez and 285 Unit(s) of Eleth. There is nothing north, so climb back up the 2 floors and then head through the door south. Go through the west door here (I) for a scene that gets you the Fortress Key and Richard's Belligerent Prince title.

After the scene, grab the Titanium Scabbard from the nearby chest. Leave the area and go south to 2G and climb all the way down to 1G. Pull the lever here and then head south to 1H for Apple Gel x4. Now head back to 1G and climb up to 2G and head south. You are back to the area with the save. Cross the center area to get to the other side and go south into 2D and pull the lever here. Watch the scene and then leave for a fight.

After the scenes, head north and go down the ladder one level to reach the ground outside and head south for a scene. After Cheria joins, go north to enter the tower on the right, just before the bridge, and climb up it it one floor. Head south and enter I for The Price of Violence skit. Now, go back into 2F (tower to the north) and head down to 1F and head north 1E and take the warp to Wallbridge Ruins.

Take the southern blue block to a new area to descend via a green block. Take the east block to a new platform and then the most eastern block to pop a gold one up. Now take the other northern blue block from this platform back and go west to get the Grape Gel x2. Head back and ascend via the green block to get 2320 Gald.

Descend and follow this path:

Take the eastern block to a new platform that will lead to Peach Gel x3.

Now head back to the warp:

• East
• West
• North

Take the western block now and ascend via the green block. Take the southern blue block and follow the path until you see the purple block. Use the nearby blue block to knock it across. Follow the blocks back until you can go east to that purple block you moved. Take the only blue block to eventually reach Holy Bottle x2 and then return to the green block and descend to get 255 Unit(s) of Eleth. Head back to the green block to the west and descend.

Take the northern block now and then ride the nearby green one. From here, take another northern blue block that will lead to 2160 Gald. Take the southern block to hit a gold one. Return to the platform with the green block now and take the eastern blue block. Follow the blue blocks until you hit the other gold block and then head back. Take the first green block and descend to get a Mastery Tonic C. Ascend and take the western blue block and descend via the green one.

Descend via the other green block on this platform, now, and take the only blue block you can. Take the northern block to hit a gold block before taking the eastern block. Follow the path until you hit a green one and ascend. Take the blue block to a Drop Bottle and then backtrack via the green block. Take the north blue block and grab the Eleth Bottle C. Go west and ascend now. With all the blocks in place, you can get the Book of Precedence.

Now head back to Wallbridge via this path:

Head back to tower (I) and go up the steps for a scene with Richard. After the scene, head north twice, climb the ladder one floor and leave to the west. You should now be in the courtyard. If you head to the left side of this area you will see that Turtlez has moved and there is a chest with 2100 Gald in it. When ready, head for the north gate for a scene.

Start by visiting the save for the Hard to Justify skit. As you walk toward Barona, talk to every soldier you see for the following items:

• Peach Gel x3
• Apple Gel x3
• All-Divide
• Elixir
• Life Bottle x3
• Hourglass
• Panacea Bottle x3

Make sure to grab the skit next to the group of four soldiers called Going Commando? and then head for the Barona Catacombs for a scene. Afterward, view the A Seven-Year Blur skit at the save point.

We finally get to go the way we did as a child, so head through the stone doorway of revenge and go north. The chests have respawned, so go onto the broken bridge and grab the Book of Perfection. Take the lower path first to a Mysterious Liquid and Core Dust before taking the upper path. Grab the Panacea Bottle x2 and take the upper path to 240 Unit(s) of Eleth. Check the stone door here and take the steps down. This leads to where the lower path ends up, so there is no reason to backtrack unless you want to visit the room of doom. Almost directly across from where you come out is another stone door you need to push to get 1800 Gald, the Graves of the Unsung discovery, and the Burial Plans skit. Now continue west to the Secret Passage.

Head north and grab the Peach Gel x2 and then go back and head east. Follow the path until you come to a scene with a strange acting Richard (do you know what's going on yet.... cause I think I do). Head north twice to grab the Mastery Tonic C and then go back down one floor and west. Examine the green vase for the Twin Vases discovery and the Separate Worlds skit. At the save, go south and solve the puzzle to get across the gap. On the other side, exit south to get a Wriggler Crystal and then go back north until you reach another puzzle. Solve it to reach a Book of Suppression. Now, head back to the save and go north.

.

Start by heading east and following the red carpet until you can exit west to get Life Bottle x3. Now go back and take that eastern exit we passed. Follow the path until the next split and go east until you reach a Rune Tunic. Now go west, which leads back to the hall we ran through just a minute ago, and continue west. When you reach the save, check the tapestry for the First Flag discovery and Friends Close, Enemies Closer skit. Continue west for a scene and a fight.

Boss: No. 018: Victoria

Heading northeast takes you back to the Turtlez, so go ahead and restock your Eleth if needed. Head west from Victoria and then enter the third room you pass for 315 Unit(s) of Eleth. Now continue west for a skit at the save called Slay the Usurper!. When you're ready, head to the Throne Room.

Boss: No. 108: Cedric

Enjoy the scenes and when you have control again, head west and reenter the Throne Room. After the scene, return to your party. Now head to the save for the A Touching Moment skit before leaving the castle.

There isn't much new in Barona that you haven't seen before, but make sure you check the Inn for requests and the Eye to Eye skit. You can now freely explore the areas around Barona if you wish to complete any Enemy Book data. When you're ready, head to Port Barona.

When you reach the roadside cottage, go inside and talk to the smiley face man to receive the Windor's Military History and Malik's Silver Hunk title. Outside, watch The Orlen Report skit. When you reach Lhant there will be a scene. Afterward, head down to the canal and sneak into Lhant (you may have noticed this path earlier and wondered why you could walk in the riverbed).

Instead of heading straight to the manor, go to Cheria's house and examine the star in her front yard. This is what you'll be doing with all those Seed valuables we have found from now on. Plant the two seed types you have now. Head to the manor and save for an upcoming trophy opportunity. Head into the study and talk to Hubert.

Chapter 4: Adulthood (Part III)

After all the scenes, you will be on North Lhant Road with only Sophie as company. You can visit Seaside Cavern, if you missed anything, or take the road south toward Lhant Hill. You will come across a shiny Watermelon in the middle of the road that you can attach via the Status Menu and using the directional pad to scroll to attachments. Now, head to Lhant Hill.

Head for the save point for the Arrested Development skit (and such... really Asbel?) before heading to the field for a scene. On your way back to Lhant you can get another skit, The Power of Conviction, at the save point.

Head to Lhant Manor and go upstairs and to the star to view a scene. Now, head to the study for a conversation with Hubert. You get the Letter to the President and Asbel's Brother's Keeper title. After the scene that follows, head to the square to regroup. You can now head to the bridge for the skit A Name to be Feared before leaving to the west. You also get the Pressed Sopheria.

Stop by the save point and view the A Name to be Treasured skit. Head to the Gel Seed tree and grab the Scale from the chest before moving on. After the scene you will get Cheria's An Old Friend, Returned and Pascal's Adolescent Girl titles. Before you go back to Lhant, make sure to get the 1600 Gald and Peach Gel x2. Also check the save for Like Old Times and the cottage for Rice x3.

Head to Lhant Manor and go to the room across from the study on the first floor for a scene and the Good-Luck Charm. Now watch the skit, Lucky You at the save inside the manor before leaving. Instead of heading toward Strahta, go to Lhant Hill and get the Anonymous Letter and Cheria's Sympathetic Soul title. Now, head to West Lhant Road.

Head to the beach for a scene and then go to the save for the Meet the Oswells skit. Afterward, head down the southwest path to a whole new area with a Seashell in the chest.

You will almost immediately get a scene. Afterward, head into the house and grab the Rice x2 and Egg x2 from the cabinets. Before hopping on the ship, make sure to watch the What Real Women Eat skit at the save. Now, hop on the ship to Oul Raye.

It's nice to finally visit a whole new area (I'm digging the names). After all the scenes, you will get Malik's Erudite Fellow title. Head north and help the poor turtlez tot from bullies and get the Turtlez Tot's Note. Enter the house up the steps and grab the Rice x3, as well as a cat to feed. Back outside, continue on the path, grabbing the Magic Carta No. 32 next to the Turtlez. Head up the hill and grab the shining Amaryllis Seeds. The sign here will give you a clue and the man will give you Onion x3. You can check the Inn for requests and view the Never Surrender skit. Down the short set of steps is the chest with a Book of Sustenance (password: turtlez). Before leaving town, check the blue stone for the Stone of Truth discovery, Truth Salt x3, and The Sweet Taste of Deceit skit.

Head to the save point for the What's a Rockgagong? skit and then follow the path. At the first chance, go east and make your way to Uncharted Sanstretch.

The battles here will destroy you, so avoid them. Make your way southeast, grabbing the Mastery Tonic C, any sparkling points you see to try and get the Magic Carta No. 20, 5100 Gald, Arcane Bottle, and Unexplored Ruins skit. Now head back to the Craglands by foot or transport to Oul Raye.

.

Head to the split and go west this time. Grab the 1440 Gald near the cactus and continue west. Examine the cactus nest to the NPC's for the Strahtan Cacti discovery, Strahtan Cactus x3, and Survival Skills skit. To the south is a Pretty Scarf and if you talk to the man for a funny scene and the Book of Rare Creatures. Head west to a sparkling point in the hopes of getting the Magic Carta No. 8. Following the southern wall leads to a chest with a Soaring Crystal. Back north, is another sparkling point. Continue along the northern wall for another possible point. South is a Titanium Anklet and maybe another sparkling point. Now, enter Sable Izolle to the west.

Head across the bridge and talk to the man in white, on the right, to get Spice Set x3. Now talk to the smiley face man.

If you head through the Item Shop, you can go right to get to the Gerbera Seeds. Head across the bridge to the west to the chest for a Book of Restraint (password: rockgagong). Now, head west for a scene. Afterward, you can watch The Spice of Life skit at the save point. In the small alcove to the right of the save is the Daunting Book discovery, a Torn Page, and the Handle with Care skit. Talk to the Researcher to the right of this for Magic Carta No. 16 and Magic Carta No. 19. Head left and feed the cat and then go down the ramp to reach a guy who can make Veggie Sets. Head right around the back of the boxes to reach the Magic Carta No. 33. Head back to the Research Tower and enter now. On the left side of the area you should be able to discover the Somnosphere and watch The Eye of Snorin skit. Now check the star in the middle of the room to get the Blue Cryas and Pascal's Water Summoner title. You can now leave town via the western bridge.

.

At the save point you should get the Longin' for a Ga-gongin skit. Head west until you see a cottage that you can enter and get Cheese x3. Leave and head north until you see a chest with Spice Set x2 inside. There's nothing else north right now, so go back south and then west. You should see a chest with an Eleth Bottle C and possilby a sparkling point (that may have the Magic Carta No. 9). When you're ready, head west.

.

I feel a little like Ghepetto at the moment. Head to the save for All Roads Lead to WHERE?!... wow, so much butt talk. Avoid walking in the purple stomach acid as you make your way your way west for a scene. After the fight, jump west across the rocks to get the Golden Smile discovery and T.M.I. skit. Now go east and hop toward the hut, but don't go in. Instead, grab the treasure with Life Bottle x2 and watch the That House Over There skit. Walk around the back of the house and grab the Fangtear Crystal. You can now go inside the house and find a Rockgagong Flute.

Back outside, head west of the house and jump across the rocks. From here, jump west again and again to reach the Book of Preemption. Go back to where you had to step in the acid and head all the way north and west to another fight. Head back and this time go east.

Instead of going to the save, go south and follow the rocks for a fight. Continue south via the west rocks and then walk through the shallow acid to reach a Blue Ribbon. Now, jump east to reach a chest with Peach Gel x3. Go west now and grab the 405 Unit(s) of Eleth and fight another parasite. Make your way back to the save now.

At the save, jump east to the Enormous Egg discovery and watch the Egging Her On skit. Now return to the save for a fight and watch The Same Frequency skit. When you're ready, go west for a fight.

Boss: Entrails Parasite

Head to the cottage and you should find the Just a Tourist? skit next to the Turtlez. We are suppose to head west to the capital, so if you're ready go that way.

In the new area, go southwest and grab the Veggie Set x2 from the chest. North of this may be a sparkling point (and we now have a better chance of getting that Magic Carta No. 9). Instead of going west, clear out the 1080 Gald, Syrup Bottle x2, and maybe some sparkling spots from the northern area. Now you can go west to grab the Blazing Crystal, Desert Bananas discovery, Banana x3, and the Private Lessons skit. Head west for another possible sparkling spot and the entrance to the capital.

Palace-schmalace...We are going to explore. Start be heading to the Commercial District and hang a left to make it to the Inn. This is one fine Inn, I gotta say. Examine the snowman in the water for the No-Sweet Snowman and the Climate Control skit. Head north and check the plant for a treasure clue and then you can leave. Head to the east and when you see the stairs, go between the arch and the steps on the left side to get to the Magic Carta No. 34. Now continue north to the Residential District.

If you take the third right walkway you should see a sparkling point that gives you some Lassamble Seeds. Going inside the Oswell House, you can snag some Water Goggles and meet the grumpy old man. Go west now and enter the White Wine Estate. The desk here has Cheese x3 and another cat to feed. Visit the Red Wine House for Onion x3 and talk to the maid for more Cheese x3. Now continue north to the Govermental District.

Take a right all the way to a new zone and grab the Ba'ul Plushie from the docks. Go back to the Governmental District and head north to the Presidential Palace.

Continue inside and trigger the scene with the guard. You can talk to your party now, but they don't say much so head inside the office for a funny surprise. After the scene, go behind the president to open the chest with a Book of Restriction (password: duplemar). Head back into the lobby and watch the scene, followed by the Big Trouble for Little Brother skit. Back outside, you should get the Great Fountain discovery, Leadership Qualities, and Fountains of the World, Part I skits. Head south to the next zone for a scene.

Walk toward the two people under the fountain for a scene and then go east to the Oswell Manor for another scene. Head south again for another scene with two people by the fountain. Now head back toward the palace until you hit another scene. Follow their advice and go to the west gate for one last scene. You get Pascal's Diagram and Born Scribbler title. Stop by the save and watch the Drawn Together skit on your way out. Head to the President's Office for a scene and you now have access to the west gate.

Head to the save point to watch the No Sweat skit before going anywhere. If you stick to the western wall you should come to a treasure with 1151 Gald, followed by another with a Silver Scabbard and maybe a sparkling spot (which potentially drops the Magic Carta No. 10). When you reach Tutrlez, check the red sand people for... Sand People discovery and the No Words skit. From the save nearby, head directly south and by the second skeleton you may find a sparkling spot. Northwest of that, is an Orange Ribbon. Go southwest now and when the path splits go south to the Bluster Crystal. To the west you may find another sparkling point before going north to grab the Stone Charm. Go back down and head northwest to find a Upper Quarry Stone. South now to a Core Fragment and then onward to a possible sparking point and the ruins.

As soon as you have control, view Full Steam Ahead. Head north, the ruins may be off limits but Turtlez can still get access by the looks of it, and then take the east road. Head north and when you step on the colored puzzle watch the Step by Step skit. Step on the yellow and blue blocks and then cross to the east. Down the stairs, grab the Red Scarf from the northern chest and continue east. Grab the Freeze Charm and take the right path south. Head down the stairs and up the others to get the Possessed Crystal. Continue to another puzzle.

This one is a little trickier because you have to backtrack to get across. Step on the yellow block and then the blue one. Now go back, making sure to stay in the puzzles "zone" and step on the red on. Now go west and grab the Ancient Embers discovery, Torchflame, and A Serious Matter skit. Continue for another puzzle: red, blue, yellow, to get a Battle Tunic. Go west and then north as soon as you can to a new puzzle.

This puzzle is pretty easy, as well, but you have to start on the right block or it will fail. Start on red and then go to blue. Now run up to yellow and it should open the path. If you do blue first and then red, the yellow block won't bring up the blocks to get you across. Head east and grab the 4680 Gald before going north to the Scene Stealer skit and a fight. (Also, I'm starting to love Pascal... despite my desire not to).

Optional Sidequests

This marks the first point in the game when you have access to most of the world, so let's go check all the areas for sidequests and such.

Head south to the Residential District and talk to the smiley face maid. Now, head south to the next district and talk to Marian (smiley face). Now go to the Inn and watch the Twenty Minutes skit at the save. You'll notice that the Inn's Requests now reflect the two events you just saw. Now let's go find those items by going to Strahta Desert (West).

Head for the ruins and you should come across a star eventually. Check it to receive the Cherished Locket. Walk or warp back to Yu Liberte now.

.

Head to the Inn and turn in the Cherished Locket for a scene and get Sophie's Lucky Girl title. Now let's work on the other one and some other stuff by going to Strahta Desert (East).

In the area just past the Banana Tree you will see a monster with a smiley. Approach it for a fight and a scene to get the Polishing Tools. Instead of heading to Yu Liberte, continue on to Sable Izolle.

Remember the guy who you played Magic Carta with? Well, you should have enough cards to beat him on Hard now (this depends on if you have gotten stamps from shops or not). The good news is that you should remember a bunch of these, the bad news is that with more cards there are more option and the AI is faster. While you wait for the loading, skim your eyes over the cards to try and get a feel for where cards are (this requires you know their quote on sight... which takes a good memory). The only other tips I can give is to have your cursor on the buried cards while you wait for the next quote. (it gives you a 1 in whatever chance that it's the next card and lets you see the damn thing properly).

If you win, you get Pascal's Nature's Scarf, Carta Shark title and the A Winning Combination skit. If you win, without him getting a card, you get Cheria's Magical Bee title.

Now head to Oul Raye.

When you enter Oul Raye, you can check the star for a scene that gets you to the Investigation Report.

In Lhant, go plant your seeds at Cheria's House and then head inside to start a sidequest with Frederic. Now, visit Asbel's mother at the Manor.

Head to Duke Dalen's Manor and talk to him for a scene. Make sure to go upstairs in the Inn and talk to Joe to start a long sidequest and get Sophie's Heavenly Emmissary title.

We now need to head to the Wallbridge Ruins from this side, so walk south to the Gralesyde Highroad and make your way to the ruins. (The reason we have to go the long way is because all the blue blocks are set to the west side of the ruins and will not be useable from the east side)

Head to the shops and check the star to get the Beloved Handkerchief. Now, go to the Inn and check upstairs to meet Joe again and continue the event to get Salisbury Steak x3. Finally, head to the castle and go down the east corridor to talk to the smiley man. After an informative scene, you get the Trade Permit and Asbel's Son of a Hero title. Now head to Orlen Woods.

Luckily, the normal enemies have been replaced with those of the castle. This is good for Soul Orb gathering. We need to head to the town that we fought the Nova Wolf in. MAKE SURE TO SAVE.

• You can turn that Investigation Report we got in Oul Raye a while back at the Inn. Nearby is Joe and his gang again... we are just following them around, aren't we? Stalker! You get Pork Curry x3 this time.

Yu Liberte

• Of course, head to the Inn for more Joe scenes. At least this time you don't have to eat food and you get a Battle Sword out of it. Don't forget to turn in the Polishing Tools for a scene, Hubert's Steadfast Denier title, the Burning Questions skit, and Marian will open her shop.

When you're ready, go to the north gate via the Governmental District.

Chapter 5: Adulthood (Part IV)

Start by heading northwest for a possible sparkling point and a chest with 2080 Gald from a chest between some cacti. Even further north is a Dried-Up Well, Truth Salt, and the Fight Me, Brother! skit. There are three potential outcomes and skits:

• Lose: My Reasons Are My Own
• Retry: I Demand a Rematch!
• Win: Alas and Alack and get Hubert's Restorer of Pride title

Grab the nearby Moon Anklet and continue east. Follow the northern wall and you may find a sparkling point or two on your way east and hopefully the random Magic Carta No. 11. When you reach the save, watch the Furtive Glances skit and then head west to get the Silver Frames. Now, enter the port.

Head to the cottage and grab the White Wine. Now, head for the ship for a scene and then watch the Piercing Glances skit.

After all the scenes, you will receive the Spy's Letter. Pascal gets us into trouble again, as usual. Now, head right and grab the Daphne Seeds and Red Wine. There is also a cat to feed. Go west now and grab the Magic Carta No. 35 and watch the Observing the Observer skit at the save. Now examine the star to the east to up with Joe and his gang to receive Sweet and Sour Eel x3.

Time to move on. Head for the stairs and examine the metal crest for the Annals of Victory discovery and Knight Moves skit. At the top, open the chest for a Book of Metabolism (password: riot peak). Now, talk to the receptionist to start a series of fights. Afterward, you get Hubert's The Youngest Lieutenant title.

Back at the Inn's save, watch the En Guardian skit. You can now take on the Riot Peak Trials.

When you're ready, talk to the spy. When you're ready, head to Velanik via the ship.

There's not much to do here, so head into the house and grab the Crab x2 before moving on to the world map.

Head east and grab the Fancy Fur. To the east of this you may find a sparkling point (rare drop Magic Carta No. 12). Just past this is the Peach Tree discovery, Peach, and Just Peachy skit. Keep going east for two more possible sparkling points. When you reach the split, go east toward the fortress that divides Fendel from Lhant. You will find chests with an Anonymous Seed and a Seascale Crystal on the way to the border. When you get there, watch the Border Crossing skit.

Go back to the split now and head north this time for a scene. Afterward, watch the Just Another Coinkydink skin nearby. Follow the west wall and you should be able to go up and back south along a cliff to a chest with 2520 Gald and a possible sparkling point. Now continue north against the west wall for another small cliff with a sparkling point and a Green Ribbon.

Head straight for the Inn, it's the biggest building. Go to the save and watch the Misery Loves Company skit and then rest at the Inn. Now head to the stage for another check in with Joe and his siblings. These guys are just ridiculous, but I'm enjoying their gifts. This time you get some Battle Knives. Afterward, head up the stage and go in back for a Book of Deduction (password: strahteme) and some shiny Niferum Seeds. You can also discover the Kaigar's Script (Dis), get the Kaigar's Script, and watch the Bananas for Bananas skit. The blue box is actually a chest too and has a Best Princess Stories book.

Now, head back to the entrance and check to the right of the small child for the Magic Carta No. 36. Go west to the residence and check the dresser for a Veggie Set. Head east for a scene if you have the five horns and gain Cheria's Kind-Hearted title. Head north and enter the house to check the dresser for Milk. You can also get the Bush Baby Plushie in the chest, feed the cat, and make Seafood Sets at the kid. Exit to the east, if you go north the well gives a hint to the earlier chest, and go south.

There is a kid here who tells you to go ahead and open the chest. Grab the Spoon and when you try to leave, you can't. The smart guy has tricked you! Pay the 1,000 Gald to get him to move. Afterward, he will be behind the well and you can get the money back. Head back into the house where you made the Seafood Sets and you can now talk to him. He will now ask you for money every time you talk to him: 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, and 6400. If you pay all of them you get Cheria's Good Samaritan title. Now, go back to the Inn for more scenes. After they are all done, view the Who-Knows-What skit at the save. Now head for the northwest side of town and enter the cave.

Follow the linear path and go right at the split to grab the Dark Bottle x2 and Platinum Tunic. Now go back and head north until you can enter a "hidden" building for Suspicious Powder x2. Outside, watch the skit The Cold, Hard Truth at the save point.

You can't go east, so head west and grab the possible sparkling spot (rare Magic Carta No. 13) right next to the save. At the split, go south to reach the Syrup Bottle x2 and Leafy Balm. Now, head back and go northwest.

When you reach the tree, examine it to get the Frozen Tree discovery and What Lies Ahead skit. Afterward, look behind the tree for a chest with 3240 Gald and a possible sparkling point. Continue on to the east and when you reach the two openings, grab the treasure of Grape Gel x2. On a side note, the tunnel on the right leads back to the save point. Not much of a shortcut, but it does count as zoning and respawns all the sparkling spots.

Once you have the carta card from multiple circles, head west from the chest location to leave.

Head straight for Mr. Smiley man for a funny scene. If you went ahead and got the Rockgagong Fur already, then all you have to do is turn the quest in when you get to town.

Follow the linear path and grab the Weak Charm behind a rock. Continue, getting the Gold Scabbard and a possible sparkling point (rare Magic Carta No. 14). Hug the north wall and you may get another sparkling point. Continue north and you will get the Cabbages discovery, Cabbage x3, and High-Risk Highlands. Now, go back and head west.

There should be a sparkling point in the lower left corner of the large area and/or one north of this. Also north is a chest with 2880 Gald. Continue west to the save for the False Pretenses skit.

Head for the ship and if you have a [[Crablette]] on you, there should be a skit called National Crablette Day after the scene. Check on the right side of the dock for a Salmon x3, obscured by a tree. Now board the ship to Zavhert Port.

Upon arrival you get Sophie's Prone to Worry title. Right in front of you is an Elderly Man who will give you rewards based on how many carta cards you have:

At most, you will only have 30 cards. You can come back later in the game to get the last two items. Head into the first building you come across and grab the Pie Sheet x3. Now, follow the path to town.

.

After the scene you can finally move five steps before another scene catches you. You get the Old Military Credentials and freedom to move about town. Head into the nearby house to talk to a smiley person, who isn't smiling. This girl will collect all the plushies you find. We don't have them all now, but you can help decorate her room by talking to her multiple times to hand them over.

Back outside, go west and up the stairs to get the Magic Carta No. 37. Continue west and examine the large pipes for Bottomless Pipes discovery and the Piping Up skit. Head into the nearby house and get Crab x2 from the black container. You can also feed another cat here. In the back of the house, between the two beds, you can find the Doll-Within-A-Doll discovery and watch the skit called The Dubious Man (seriously, give it up Hubert!).

Follow the path west again and talk to the man at the bottom of the steps and then head upstairs and into another house. On the upper floor, check the dresser for another Best Princess Stories. Now, go outside and follow the path east until you reach the Inn.

The first thing you should do when you walk in the door is watch the No More Suffering and A Surprising Theory skits. While you're here, turn in that Rockgagong Fur and get Malik's Imposing Figure title. Notice the trash can next to the Inn desk? Well throw all that trash you've gotten from sparkling points away to receive Malik's Environmental Minister title. Head west on the first floor into a room to find Joe and receive Hubert's Senior Younger Brother title. The chest here has the Book of Finesse (password: ironspike). Upstairs, the second room has Rice x2 and Bloody Rose Seeds.

Now, head outside and go south to find a child selling a Katz Plushie. Get the super cheap things and then talk to the soldier outside the equipment shop for a scene. Now, go back toward the Inn and talk to him again. I like how nonchalant Pascal is about outing herself and we have another "dead" ally in our group. After the scene you get Pascal's Real Amarcian title. Head back to the Inn and watch the All in the Timing skit. Now leave town to the west.

.

Follow the southern wall west until you reach the Life Bottle x2. Continue to the north, grabbing the possible sparkling point (rare item Magic Carta No. 15), and when you reach the fork go west and then south to reach a chest. Defeat the Fake and get the Raw Materials and Pascal's Fire Summoner title. Check to see if there is a sparkling point nearby and then head northwest now to the Radishes discovery, Radish x3, and Dear Diary skit. Further west and you will come across 495 Unit(s) of Eleth and the Gone Astray skit at the save.

Go back to the first intersection and go northwest. Make sure to grab the Grape Gel x2 and when you reach the split, go west. This new path leads to some green Pumpkins discovery, Pumpkin x3, and Short and Sweet skit. Go west and grab the Pretty Feather and then follow the path northwest to a Blue Scarf. Head back east, grabbing a possible sparkling point, and then continue north. At the split, go east to the save and watch the Winds of Change skit. Instead of going north to the Enclave, go southeast to some Gold Frames. Follow the path south, grabbing the Fine Wood. Continuing south just loops you back around to the beginning, so go back to the save and head north. Continue northwest until you reach the split and then head west to 3670 Gald. Now, go northwest for a scene and a fight.

Boss: No. 125: Bladehorn Boar

When you have control again, follow the path north to a Turtlez and Formless Crystal.

Start by going west all the way to the Inn and the save to watch the skit called The Transplanted Land. The Chocolate Fountain is worth checking out for some Chocolate x3 and the Fountains of the World, Part II skit. Nearby should be Joe and gang, which rewards you with the Mandarin Scarf. Going back east, talk to the smiley person to play Shot Cube.

To the north is the equipment and item shops with some cool new items.

Now, go back to the entrance and head east and enter the Fourier's house, which doesn't look like one, near the two women talking. Inside is a locked chest (password: gauss) with a Book of Acquisition and a drawer with a Drill. Outside, feed the cat before you enter Pascal's house. After the scene inside, open the chest for the Magic Carta No. 38 and then check the drawer for Milk x3. On the right side of Pascal's room is the Robo-Pet discovery and Anything You Like! skit. To reach the Overseer's Chamber, go to the entrance of town and north down the steps.

After the scene, check behind the pillars on the right to grab the Jack-in-the-Pulpit Seeds. Head for the town exit and talk to the smiley faced man for a scene. Now go back to Pascals' House to find the Research Sample and get Cheria's Only Child title. Now, turn it in to the Inn. There is a new skit at the save here as well called Whence and Whither. Now we are outta of here.

.

Head for the save point to the south and watch the A Lady's Prerogative skit. Now go back to the Turtlez and teleport to Zavhert's west gate.

At the save, just outside the west gate, watch the Fatherly Advice skit. Now make your way to the Research Lab.

After the scene, head north a little and watch the Sins of the Brother skit. Enter the lab and head west. At the second door, enter the room and grab the Working Gear. Now, continue west and enter the last door.

The lab requires that you complete puzzles to open the security gates and continue onwards. Complete the nearby easy puzzle and talk to the monolith to access a new area in the previous section and take the elevator down.

The first door you come across contains some Grape Gel x3, while the second has some Panacea Bottle x2. Follow the path around the area until you reach the next puzzle. Solve it and continue to the next elevator down.

The first room here contains a chest with a Star Anklet, as well as the Eleth Recharger discovery and A Fundamental Flaw skit. Return and continue to the next room, where you can grab a All-Divide. At the first split, head right to reach a room with a Platinum Scabbard which you can equip for a skit called Accessorizing with Asbel. Head back and continue to the next puzzle and elevator down.

Follow the path and go north at the split to reach an Orange Scarf. Back at the intersection, go east and down another floor.

Head east to a room with a puzzle and solve it. Afterward, go east all the way to a room with Holy Bottle x2, before taking the nearby elevator. This leads back up a floor to a new area with the Profane Creation, The Island of Dr. Fourier skit, and 525 unit(s) of Eleth. Now, go back down and west to the previous split.

Head north, but take the first right to get a Busted Blade. You can now right the elevator down to the final area and a fight.

Boss: No. 024: Veres

After the scene, examine the monolith nearby to open the previous security gate. Head back outside and veer right down the hall to a room with the Book of Serendipity and Chocolate-Covered Banana. Make sure to watch the Irrelevant Nonsense skit before heading up and out of the Lab.

There's not much to do except head back to Zavhert. Before entering the city though, stop by the save for the Practice Makes Perfect skit and fight. There are, again, three potential outcomes and skits:

• Lose: This Won't Do
• Retry: One More Time
• Win: Now I Know and get Sophie's Pact Adherent title

After the scene, head east toward the shops and talk to the man with the bubble over his head. Now, head to the Inn for the Plan B skit. You should also sleep at the Inn for a missable scene. Back outside, talk to the two soldiers with talk bubbles. Now, head south toward the east gate and then take the left to a star event. Continue west and talk to the next person with a chat bubble. Inside the house, you will get a scene with Fermat and the Security Pass. Head back to the Inn for another star event and then leave town to the north.

.

Instead of heading into Fendel Tower, turn around and go back the Zavhert Inn to watch A Blind Eye skit. Return to Fendel Tower and grab the nearby Peach Gel x3 before heading up the steps for a scene. Inside, use the save and watch the Convincing Kurt skit. Head down the steps and under the other set of steps to ride an elevator to the 39F. Take the dark hallway, with fights, and ride the lifts up. Make sure to grab the 3500 Gald and then take the right lift (this requires the left lift be on the left side and you walk across the boards to the platform with the treasure) to reach the 40F.

Talk to the two freaked out guards here and then talk to the one blocking the western hallway. This gives you the option to out the guards, which you should do. Take the dark hallway and turn the right valve to walk across to the next area. Up the lift, grab the Hourglass before using the boards to move the platform to the right side. You can now walk across the boards to take the new platform west and up another lift. Watch the Panel Discussion skit and then ride the platform back to the left and release both valves. You can now go back to the right via the panel and ascend.

Take the right lift to reach more valves. You need to have the platform in the right position and the left valve open before ascending to the next level. Check out the Frozen Nest and watch the Revisionist History skit. Turn the first and last valve to cross this area to the next floor.

You will be given four types of Gel's that you need to deliver to the right guard based on the description they give. The issue is that the order in which they scramble and line up is random, so follow this guide:

• Man in black - Apple
• Man in white - Peach
• Girl in Black - Grape
• Girl in white - Apple

In the next dark corridor, ride the lifts across to a new area where you can grab an Eleth Bottle C before heading down a new set of lifts twice to reach the Life Bottle x3. Now go back up one floor and head east. Take the lift right next to where you land to reach the Grape Gel x2. Head back up and right to descend on the other side and find the Treasure Trove discovery as well as the Common Metal and the High Maintenance skit. Continue down and watch the False Bravado skit before continuing to reach Kurt's Office.

After the scene, grab the Chamomile from the chest and check out the star event. Afterward, talk to everyone and then check the desk for a scene. You'll be back outside the tower now, but we want to head back and grab a treasure that is now accessible. Head back inside and take the elevator to the 41F. From there, go into the left dark corridor to find the Platinum Frames.

Head to the Inn and check the Northeast, Ho! skit (as in Hi-Ho? So many Disney references... at least 2 I've seen) and then go to Format for a quick scene. Now leave town to the northeast.

Take the west path first to reach an Artificial Crystal before going up the right path and grab the sparkling points nearby (rare Magic Carta No. 17). When you see the Turtlez Merchant, go south a little to grab the 2381 Gald.

.

Follow the path until you reach the Grape Gel x2. Nearby is an ice block you'll have to move to continue and grab the Syrup Bottle x2. Now, use the ice block to push it to the slope leading down to the Syrup Bottle and let go as soon as it's on the slant to break the nearby icicle and reach the Magic for Men. Now, grab the block and do the same thing to the next icicle to reach the next screen.

Follow the path until you reach another room with an ice block and use it to break the two large icicles (one of which breaks a third one). Grab the Strong Bone. Head down to the two broken icicles, but check the glowing icicle for [[Rainbow Ice Pillar]], Icicle, and Running Out of Time. Now, head up the two icicles to another ice block. Use this to break the icicle to the south and get the Elemental Ribbon. Now use it to the southeast to knock the icicle down, grabbing the Whirling Seashell before moving on.

In the next cavern, take the west path to a Book of Valor before you continue south.

At the save, watch the No Lack of Resolve skit and head into the next chamber. This place is a little more confusing, but start by pushing the western block down the western cliff and making a path to the Panacea Bottle x3. Now, grab it and move it into the eastern gap to reach the new ice block. Instead of dropping it from the highest cliff, move it down to the previous gap and release it from there. The failure to break the huge icicle causes the skit Allow Me to Demonstrate to happen. Now, grab it and take it to the top and toss it down to break the huge icicle. We can now move on, but first you should use this block to break the far southern icicle and reach a Mastery Tonic C. Now continue on the main path, grabbing the 585 Unit(s) of Eleth before you reach the next chamber. Save and prepare for a battle.

Boss: No. 051: Kurt

After the scene, check Kurt to gain his Platinum Bladerang and then talk to everyone. Watch the scene and gain the Archive of Wisdom Key. Afterward, check the valkines for Forbrannir and the Just Ask Gramps skit. Take the one-way warp outside and head to Zavhert.

Head to Glacier Road's save and watch the To the Archive of Wisdom skit.

Then, in Zavhert, go to the Inn to see the Selective Memory skit. You can now head to the Amarcian Enclave.

Head to the Overseer's Chamber and into the Archive for a scene. After the scenes, go to the save near the Inn to watch the Connecting the Dots skit. Now, head back to Mt. Zavhert.

After the scene, head south to the save for the What if He Knows? skit. You can then walk or use the Turtlez to Zavhert.

As usual, go to the Zavhert Inn for a skit called The Missing Pieces. Now, head to the port and make your way to World's Eye.

I find it funny the ship is coming from the south when Fendel is to the north, but hey. After the scenes you get Asbel's Friend to the End and Sophie's Conflicted at Heart titles. Head to the save and get A Near Miss? skit and save. Any further north and you get a scene that leads to the major Richard fight.

Chapter 6: Adulthood (Part V)

.

Head to the Inn and rest up. After the scene, go to the save and watch the She'll Always Be Sophie skit. Head for the port and you'll get a scene and the Chancellor's Letter and Pigeon Communicator. You also get Malik's Pensive Sage title. Head for Oul Raye now.

.

When you arrive, you get Cheria's Embracer of Truth title. Talk to the smiley faced man and accompany them to some fights. You also get the Sunken Cargo and Asbel's Expert Scrubber title. Back in Oul Raye, head for the Inn to see the Outside the In-Joke. Instead of transporting to Sable Izolle, walk through the craglands to get the Needs More Fiber skit on the far save before Sable Izolle (you can NOT take the transport and walk to the zoneline).

Head to the Research Tower for a meet up with the president. Afterward, watch the Heightened Senses skit at the save point. Now, go inside the tower and take the lift down and enter the Old Archive for a scene. Once you're done here, go back outside for another scene and then check the save for The Tenderness of Youth skit. Now head to Oul Raye via the Turtlez.

Back in town, head to the port. If you're ready, board the ship to South Valenik Port. Here, check the save for the skit called The Other Side of the Sky and then you can leave town. Head for the Border Fortress to get to North Lhant Road and eventually the Seaside Cavern.

Backtrack to the save near the Deathglow Algae and watch the skit at the save called The Weight of Existence. Now, check the false wall to the east side of the area to open a secret pathway. Inside you will get a scene. Afterward, head back to the save for the Brotherly Love skit and then go north and make your way to Lhant.

After the scenes, head for Lhant Manor and visit Asbel's room. When you have control, go to the save downstairs to see the Still Falling Short skit. Now go to the study for a scene, before returning to your room. Leave the manor for a scene in the courtyard that gets you Curry, Rice Omelette, and Grilled Chicken Bowl. You also get Hubert's Ambivalent Son. Now, head back to the manor and talk to Lady Kerri in the upstairs bedroom.

Back outside, ignore the Turtlez and head to the bridge to watch A Few of His Favorite Things skit. Now, talk to the smiley faced Turtlez to teleport to Velanik.

Follow the path to the left and stop at the save to watch the Treading the Untrodden skit. Continue left, despite the topic, and follow it until you run into an Amarcian with a smiley face. He will want your Drill and will give you his Spade in return. Make sure you talk to him to hand over the Drill. Now, go back to the save and head east down the path to reach an Eleth Bottle C. Continue to the next area.

.

Follow the path until you get a scene and then head east to grab the Milk x3. Head north to the next split grab the possible sparkling point (rare Magic Carta No. 18) and go west, this time, to the Rune Anklet and Green Scarf. Continue east until you reach the save to view a scene and then watch the skit The Will to Persevere. Near the Turtlez Merchant is a Sharp Claw and to the east is a long path that leads to some sparkling points, Veggie Set x3, Seal Charm, 5400 Gald, Syrup Bottle x2, Hyper Scabbard, Pointy Fang, [[Icedrop Flower]] discovery, and Holding it Together skit. Now make your way back to the ruins.

As soon as you enter, watch the skit Am Not. Am Too!. Enter the door in front of you to turn on the power in the building. Head up to the west and make sure the device is pointing toward the door so you can enter and grab the Grape Gel x3. Head up the steps and down the other side to power up the door and get the Yearning for Home discovery and Hometown Hero skit. Head back and through the middle door to the next area.

Grab the nearby Tiger's Essence and then point the device up the stairs to get a Mythril Tunic. Head back to the device and power up the door now to continue north. At the split, power the west path and follow it twice to get to a Curse Charm. Head back to the first device in this area and move it to power the east path now and follow it. Power the next east path to get the Dangerous Liquid before you power the northern west doorway and advance to a new area.

In the next area, head up the first set of steps and grab the Goggles before continuing upstairs. Open the chest here for 660 Unit(s) of Eleth and then check the device to power both doors. You can go either way, since you need both power routes to lead to the final door, but I went west first for the Mechanical Scrapyard discovery, Rare Metal, and Bonus Goal skit. To the east is an Earthen Pot.

With both northern paths powered, head north to a save and watch the skit Not Exactly Our Forte. Grab the Book of Growth before moving any devices and then power the east side path to grab a Magical Ribbon. Now, all you have to do is power the north doors and encounter a fight.

Boss: No. 236: Polycarpus

After the scene, you can us either nearby one-way warp out.

As soon as you enter the field, you'll be forced into a fight with more monsters. After the scene, check the save for the skit It's a Secret to Everybody. Now, use the Turtlez to get to Seaside Cavern.

There's another skit at the save called Fodrabound, so watch it before you approach the false wall. After the scene go into the cavern with the shuttle for another scene. When you have control again, you'll have to make your way back to the shuttle by going north. After the scene, leave and jump in the water to the north of the save (or where it was) for a fight. You can then head back to the shuttle.

Chapter 7: Adulthood (Part VI)

You start in the cockpit. You can leave into the next room where a machine sells you some items. This is the same store as Telos Astue (the next town), so don't hesitate to buy the stuff now if you have the money.

Right after the scene you get Pascal's Reverent Sister title. Grab the possible sparkling point (possible rare [[Magic Carta No. 21) and the chest of [[Minced Meat]] x2 and then head back into the shuttles cockpit for the skit A Question of Priorities. Back outside, go south and grab the possible sparkling point. Continue south to find a Magical Scarf, Tofu x2, Secret Fort discovery, 5278 Gald, and another sparkling point before going back to the shuttle.

Head west this time and grab the Secret Seed and head north. Grab the Finest Fur and then back up the path and to the west. Grab the Holy Bottle x3 and head for the save to see the skit No End in Sight and then take the warp.

After the scene, head to the northeast building (Storeroom) and check the big bucket for the Giant Tub discovery, Natto or Miso or Tofu, and skit Still Rancid After All These Years.

Back outside, go to the northwest up the steps for another discovery called Tempus Aeturnum and the skit Ghost in the Machine. The save here offers another skit, Sticking Together. Finally, the machine to the west acts as a shop and Inn. Go ahead and rest for a scene.

Use the machine in the southeast/west to head up to the 2F. Enter the main building here and check the platforms if you want, the middle being the Emerald Hope discovery and giving you the A World Without a Pulse skit. Now take the platform to B1.

Once again, go toward the main building. Grab the Nameless Flower Seeds and warp to the shuttle bay for a Book of Enthusiasm (password: ephinea). There's nothing else here, so go back to the elevator and go to B1. Head west for a quick scene and follow the child inside for another scene. When you have control, grab the Magic Carta No. 39 from the chest nearby. Now, head back to the 1F and get the skit The Knowledge to Save at the save before heading to Region 13.

Head for that other warp we saw earlier for a scene and then check the save to get the skit The "It" Factor. Now warp to the facility.

Follow the path to the security door and watch the skit The Control Device. Now, take the warp that you just passed. Examine the panel nearby and warp back to the previous room to advance north. Ignore the two rooms and head for the lift at the far north to see the skit What Are We Missing?. Now, grab a charged the battery from one of the two previous rooms and place it in the elevators device. Before we go, go back and grab a second battery. Now, take the lift to B1 South.

Head into the first room you come across and check the star for a scene that gets you a Drive Unit and Hubert's Lover of Lhant title. Open the chest for Grape Gel x2 and then leave. When you reach an intersection, go down to reach a Book of Exchanging. Return to the intersection and go right now to another warp. Take a left first to grab the Eleth Bottle C before examining the control panel. Now warp back and continue north to exchange a battery. Head to 1F and grab a new battery and then take the lift to B1 > B2 South.

In the first room, grab the Rare Scabbard and then continue north. At the save, go down to reach a room with an All-Divide and then return and head right again. Watch the scene and when you have control again, check the right control panel for the Old Toy Blocks discovery. Head to the right of the room for another scene and Asbel's receives the Host to the Light title. Now, check the area for the ''Cornell's Legacy skit. Now, exit to the right.

Head up at the split to reach a room with an Elegant Feather and then head back and go down. Enter the first room and grab the Golden Bough before continuing north. At the lift, place the charged battery in and head back to 1F to get the final battery. Now head to B3 South via B2.

Head north and enter the first room to get 705 Unit(s) of Eleth and then head to the split where you should go down. There are two rooms you can enter here for the Misty Anklet, Tarlow-X discovery, and the Merely Old Junk skit. Go back to the intersection and head all the way up now to reach another warp. Examine the control device and then head back and continue north to a lift where you can exchange the last battery in and take it to B4 South.

Head for the save and watch the skit The Origin of the Amarcians and save. Now head into the room for a scene. When you have control, examine all of the holograms before checking Richard and then get ready for a fight.

Boss: No. 275: Lambda

Head back to the save now and watch the skit The Reason Why. Head back up the lift to B2 now, via B3, and follow the path to the lab on the far left. After the scene you get Sophie's Pact Maker title. Now, make your way to the surface.

As you leave, check the save for the skit Sophie's Parents and then head to the southeast. Head to the Secret Fort discovery where you can get the skit Traces of Humanity, now that you have Emeraude with you. Now, leave to the south to reach Region 66.

As you approach the save, watch the skit Your Bird Could Not Be Completed. Follow the path and at the split head north to Life Bottle x2 and Ancient Cloth. Return to the intersection now and go east. Follow the path along, grabbing the Elixir, until you reach a new split and go all the way east to a possible sparkling point (rare possibility Magic Carta No. 28), Rice x2, Unsettling Garden, Lump of Clay, and the skit A World Run Dry.

Head all the way west, until you hit a dead end, and then north. Take the first left to a possible sparkling point, an Amazing Bone, and a Natto. Now, take the north path to grab an Emperor's Claw and possible sparkling point before taking the last northern path to the east. This leads to a possible sparkling point, a star event, a Broken Brooch, and Sophie's Stirred from Detachment title. Grab the nearby 4860 Gald and enter Bathus Citadel.

.

Instead of heading into Bathus, go back outside to the save and watch the skit Fodra's Ultimate Weapons. Return and follow the path for a Monocle and then move the upper set of blocks right once and the lower set twice (getting the skit Intruder Defense while you're at it). Continue on the path to reach the 2F.

Follow the path to the next puzzle and move the blocks to the front to continue on through the bottom door to get an Hourglass. You can now take the top path to reach the 3F lift.

Head along the path until you reach an intersection and go south to the 4F and a Decaying Sword. Return to the previous split and head east to a room with a Mastery Tonic C. Move the block here to the left twice and then watch the Simple Enough skit. Head through the door and take the lift up.

In the next room, move the red and yellow block against the northern wall to the right. Then the yellow block against the western wall to the front, allowing you to reach left door. Check the Military Insignia discovery and watch the skit My Responsibility. Now, go back and enter the northern door.

Grab the useful Book of Fortune and then move the yellow blocks left twice and the green ones right three times. Head through the door and grab the Panacea Bottle x3 and then exit to the south and board another lift.

Start by grabbing the Strange Gear and then head right. Follow it up a lift and west to reach the Debonaire Dandy and see what's making all the noise. Head back to the blocks now and move them left three times before exiting to the west. Grab the 4400 Gald and then head through the door to move the green blocks left three times. Take the lift up again.

Clear a path to the two doors by moving the closest set of yellow blocks Back and head through the northern door. Grab the 750 Unit(s) of Eleth and check out the Amarcian Key (Dis) discovery. You also get an Amarcian Key and the It's Gotta Fit Somewhere skit. Now, move the closest set of yellow blocks right and the top set left. Ignore the left door, as it is a shortcut back the way you came, and head back to the south. Head through the room and north through a door to access the save point and the skit If Anyone Can Do It.... Head through the door for a fight.

Boss: No. 078: Centurioid

After the scene, you get the Derris Rings, Derris Bit and titles for everyone:

• Hubert: Enlightened Gunner
• Cheria: Enlightened Healer

Do NOT take the warp. Head back to the save for the Where's My Ring? skit. Now you can warp out.

Head for the Region 13 zoneline and watch the skit A New Kind of Terror at the save. Now head to Region 13.

Head for Telos Astue, but stop at the save for the Show Me Your Resolve! skit and fight (with Malik this time). There are still three potential outcomes and skits and you don't need to get the first two unless you want to see them:

• Lose: Is That All?
• Retry: Nothing But Talk
• Win: The Power of Words and get Malik's Inveterate Teacher title

Head to the save point on the 1F for the skit Someone Has a Secret. Head to the shuttle bay, via B1, and view the scene. After the scene, go back to where you met Emeraude and talk to Psi. Back outside, check the area to the right of the main building steps for a star event for a fight and receive the Replacement Part. Turn this in at the Inn for a scene and receive the Epic Neck item.

On the east side of town is another little girl with a smiley, talk to her and then go to the 2F Records Room for a star event. You receive the Memory Core. If you are ready, head for the shuttle.

Chapter 8: Adulthood (Part VII)

The save offers the skit A Word in Edgewise. There are two types of rooms here, one that sucks up up a level and one that swallows you down. We want to head down. Follow the path until you reach a split and take the right pod to go down a level. Follow this to another split and go into the pod nearby, but avoid the airway up. Instead, walk past and leave to the west. Follow the path south, grabbing the Syrup Bottle x2 before going east into the pod for a scene. Continue east and then grab the Arcane Bottle before you head south west to a pod. Head to the save and view the Under Observation skit and then check the big black object to get the Heart of Stone discovery, Legendary Metal, and In Its Clutches skit. Leave to the west.

Follow the path south and at the split, go east to get an Eleth Bottle C. Now head west into the pod. Start by activating the pink flower and walk up to the pink pillar to get the Touchy Subject skit. Now, activate both the blue flowers. Cross the area to the northwest and activate the pink flower now to move the platform. Leave through the west and keep going that way until you reach a pod with Grape Gel x3. Hop into the flower to get sucked down and then grab the 780 Unit(s) of Eleth. Go right to get sucked back up.

Head west again and then north to grab the chest with 5200 Gald. Head back into the pod you came from and go south at the split to get some Life Bottle x3. Enter the nearby pod for a whole new puzzle. Start by touching the blue flower to open the paths up. Now, go west and activate the pink flower to move the platform, followed by the blue one next to it. Now, use the new platform to reach the northwest pink flower and move the second platform. Once that is done, use the blue flower next to it to lower the obstacles again. Now, activate the last pink flower in the top right corner to push the platform into the next room and then the blue to wither all the flowers.

Head outside and make your way to the northwest pod in this area and then go west and north to either of the pods at the far north. Drop down onto that platform you just moved and you will be at the third puzzle. Start with the nearest blue flower and then use the northwest pink one. Use the blue one beside you now and then use the southern-most pink one to push both platforms and then the blue one beside that. Head to the far west area and use the pink and blue here to wither the flowers. Finally, exit east to grab the Book of Smithery and get sucked up. Head east, south, and west to get back to the second puzzle room where you can now reach the save and watch the skits No Matter What! and One for the Road. Save and follow the path to your boss fights.

You can now travel to any location you want instantly. YAY!

Select Lhant and travel to the town. Head to Cheria's and plant the seeds you have and you should get the Magic Carta No. 24.

Head for the Lhant Manor and watch the scene. Inside, go to the save to see the skit Mutual Destruction before going to the study. When you have control again, visit the save once again for the skit The Value of Life and then head outside. After the long scene, you will have to head to Lhant Hill, so pack up and get going.

Outside Lhant Hill, stop at the crossroads to get the skit In Bloom. Now, continue to Lhant Hill for a scene. When you have control, head to the Friendship Tree and watch the skit What Did I Do Now?!. Now, return to Lhant for a scene.

You'll now need to find and talk to all your allies:

• Hubert: In the study
• Sophie: In the Manor gardens
• Malik: On the bridge
• Pascal: In the square
• Cheria: By the North gate

Now go back to the Manor and sleep in Asbel's room. In the morning you get a new set of titles:

• Sophie: Wish Maker
• Hubert: Heart of a Lhant
• Cheria: Dream Chaser
• Malik: Watchful Steward
• Pascal: Pride of the Amarcia

Before we go anywhere else, talk to Fourier to gain the Fluffy Muffler for Pascal. Head to the bridge and watch the skit Point of No Return. Make sure to head to Asbel's room for a chest with the Jade Vestments inside.

In the square, hiding in the northeast corner, is a new cat that you can feed fish to. If this is your last cat, you can select "Meow?" to reach a new town called Katz Zorner.

In case you missed a cat, here are the locations:

On the left side of this area is a Hourglass (password: foselos) and Cat Pine Seeds. On the right side is the Magic Carta No. 40. In front of the merry-go-round, check the sign for the Catnip discovery and Rating Cats and Dogs skit. Talk to the only human near the pond who hints at a secret location. Now, return to Lhant and hit R3 to enter shuttle mode. Using the right analog, find the approx. location X Axis: 332 and Y Axis: -392 and hit L1. This will uncover Cat-Crazy Coot's House. Go ahead and visit and receive the Katz Dekoder and Katz Klothez. There is also a chest with Milk x3 here.

Head to the nearby save and view the skit All the Way Down and then grab the Red Sage nearby. Warp down and grab the 7267 Gald from the northeast and then take the east lift down. There are two lifts here, take the southern-most one first to reach an Arithmos Core and return to take the other lift to a warp. Follow the path to another lift a descend.

Start by crossing the red, yellow and blue tiles to grab the All-Divide. Then go through the red, yellow and blue to reach Grape Gel x3. Go north through the red, and then to the northwest chest for another Arithmos Core. You will now need to step back on the blue tile to go back to the beginning. Follow the same path as before, but this time go to the save. Instead of warping, take the lift up for a fight and then take the lift again to get Life Bottle x2 and an Hourglass. If you take the southern lift, you get to fight the tough Abysseon. Make sure you have someone who can revive and if your party gets close to losing, just back off and protect the healer as they revive the characters over and over again. Go back up now, and take the western lift to a scene.

After the flashback, grab the 825 Unit(s) of Eleth and take the nearby warp. On the next floor, go south and grab the Holy Bottle x3 and then make your way to the lift and descend. Head northwest for a Book of Fortitude and then head to the save to watch the All Smiles skit. The lift to the east leads to a Destinion fight. Now, head back to the save and go south for 7830 Gald and a lift.

Another colored puzzle has you going through more colored tiles.

You can now take this as a shortcut to the surface... and you should.

Beach Resort

Go to Shuttle Mode and search the map near X Axis: -367 and Y Akis: -159 to uncover the resort.

Inside, head to the right wall and discover the Sunscreen Rangers and watch the skit The Beaches Brigade. Now, speak to the receptionist and use the pool for a funny scene and Cheria's Alluring Temptress title. Head for the exit for a scene for a scene and then take the northwest door back to the beach. Nearby you should see a shiny Inner Tube attachment that you can snag. Now, head into the water and examine the dolphin-like blow-up for a Shark Fin. You can now leave the Resort.

Swimsuit Gathering

Sandshroud Ruins

Head to the first door and power up the ruins, similarly to the one in Fendel. Go down the stairs all the way to the save to watch the skit A Show of Gratitude and then head north and fight the single Pooka Helmite. Head through the door to the north for the Life Bottle x3 and That Old Familiar Feeling skit. Then go back to the east door and head through it.

In the next area, we want to move the pointers to light up the two doors, but there is bonus items here. Shift the power to the two eastern-most pointers and then instead of pointing them to the door, point them to the path that leads to an orange square on the floor to get a Crystal Seashell and Eleth Bottle EX to appear. Now, move the pointers to the doors and take either to the next room.

Use the only pointer here to direct the power east and enter a complex room of multiple pointers. There are two things we can move here, the pointers and the connection devices on the floor. Start with the eastern power path and move the cursor until you light the orange square directly south of the door to receive 900 Unit(s) of Eleth. Now, flip the floor connector to move the power connection to allow it to continue east. Flip the pointer and floor device, as needed, until the southern-most pointer is powered and facing south. Now we need to do the same thing for the other side. If you look in the northwest corner of the room, you'll see a floor device that can point north or south. You want to have it pointing south and then power it to get the Grape Gel x3. Now, direct the power south and when both paths lead to the same pointer, you can advance south.

Head east, on the upper level, and grab the 6900 Gald before going down the steps all the way down and through a door. Another puzzle awaits on the other side. Start with the northern path and direct the pointer westward, but then head south with the second as the western paths dead end. Continue to move the power west and when it reaches the last pointer before the four floor device, make it go south. Rotate the floor device to get the power to the orange square and reveal a Clear Core. Now move the power to the northern door, rotating the four floor devices at the end. Time to head to the start and do this again for the southern door. Start by moving the pointer west and the floor device to access the All-Divide hidden in the orange square. When the power reaches the last pointer before the door, face it east and rotate the floor devices to get the orange square lit and receive an Elixir. Now light up the southern door to unlock both doors.

First, take the southern path to a new room with multiple pointer devices and multiple colored stream/floor tiles. The object is to send the correct stream color through each of the floor tiles and then to the door at the end. The easiest way to do this, is to give walk your through each turn step by step:

Take the northern path to an Hourglass and the save, which may net you the Cool Composure skit. In this puzzle, you have to make the correct stream color go through each colored tile for the door to open.

In Shuttle Mode, search for X Axis: 2 and Y Axis: -308 to find the Oswell Family Vault and head there.

Boss: No. 011: Martial Fury

When you have control again, go east and west to grab the Panacea Bottle x2 and Peach Gel x2. Now, go back and south through the middle to branch off east and west for the Eleth Bottle EX and Life Bottle x3. Now enter the treasure itself through either door.

Inside (from east to west) you'll find Beef x2, [[Peaches]] x3, Arcane Bottle, Hourglass, All-Divide, Imperial Crest, White Wine x3, Syrup Bottle x2, Seablue Vestments, Red Wine x3, Elixir, Mastery Tonic EX, Drop Bottle, Bizarre Clump, Toxic Fluid, and a Seablue Statue.

Shuttle Crash Site

Save Before You Visit

In Shuttle Mode, search for X Axis: -381 and Y Axis: 129 for the Shuttle Crash Site.

Set your difficulty down to Easy and then put the characters with the highest HP in your party. Now, equip titles that give the reduced damage if they receive a huge hit like Asbel's Paragon and Malik's Time Traveler. If you survive, you get the Proof of Another World. On the east side of the shuttle, in back, is Sophie's Silvered Vestments. If your approach the front of the shuttle you can watch the Belated Apologies skit.

Barona / Turtlez HQ

In Shuttle Mode, search for X Axis: 334 and Y Axis: 180, then enter the Turtlez HQ.

There isn't much here really, but speak to the smiley Turtlez to get the Businezz Application and Sophie's Gothic Lolita title. Last we saw Dark Turtlez, he was north of the Border Fortress, but he has moved on.

Afterward, go all the way north to see the Sup, Peoplez? skit by the waving Turtlez.

If you haven't alread, go to the Knight Academy in Barona and talk to Victoria in her study. Now, the Turtlez with the smiley near the entrance will sell you Aston's Sword for 120,000 Gald. This is the sword you had at the beginning of the game.

.

Head to the valkines, getting the Music Makers skit at the save, and check behind the warp for a hidden door that leads to an Arcane Bottle, Elixir, 4546 Gald, and Grape Gel x2. If you check the star, you get Kurt's Pendant and Malik's Unable to Die title. The new chest also contains the Abyssal Vestments. Head back to the warp and leave.

Head to the location where we first saw Lambda and find a shining spot that contains a Ship Model. There is also the It Happens to Everyone! skit just to the south at the save.

You can head to Lhant now and turn the Ship Model in at the maid in Lhant Manor for Asbel' Honorary Knight title. While here, go upstairs to Asbel's desk to see the Model Siblings skit and check the room to the right of the save to bump into Joe and his gang to receive the Requiem and Mabo Curry x10. You can talk to them again for another scene.

Now go the Cheria's and plant the Cat Pine Seeds for a scene and the skit The Mystery Seed. You'll have to wait a little while to get the scene at the Item Shop, so let's go somewhere else.

In the castle lobby, head to the save and watch the Single Entendre skit. Head to the throne room and talk to Dalen and you will receive Asbel's Inheritor of Excalibur title. Back in the castle lobby, go east four screens and then enter the northwest room. Follow the path west until you reach the chest with 5760 Gald. Now, take the northern exits for an Elixir and a Pearl Windthread.

If you return to Katz Korner, you can now turn in the Liquisilk Fabric, Pearl Windthread, and Shark Fin for Hubert's Modern Youth and Cheria's Innocent Maiden titles and Scarlet Vestments for Pascal.

Start by heading to the save on the 1F of Telos for the skit Target Practice.

Now, make your way to the final area of Bathus Citdale where we got the Derris Ore, grabbing the skit A Desolate World at the save, for another Drill and Malik's Model Soldier title.

At Seaside Cavern, follow the path north until you find a new chest with a Tuning Fork and then continue to the save near the Deathglow Algae for the skit ...And Back Again. Now, head to Barona Inn and turn in the Tuning Fork for a scene, the Amber Vestments, and Cheria's Emotive Pianist title. There is also a skit Where Credit is Due at the save. Now go to the Knight Academy and talk to Victoria. Remember all those stars in front of the valkines'? Well there is one here in Barona and it is the weakest of the three. SAVE and go try to fight it.

Boss: Gloandrake/Duplewyrm/Forbrawyvern

No matter if you win or not, head to the house that is near the Royal Sanctuary and talk to the man inside. You will receive the Treasured Picture, which can be turned in at the Inn in Sable Izolle.

Head to North Yu Liberte Port and talk to the sailor on the port for a scene and get Hubert's Hot-Blooded title. You can now follow him to Sable Izolle, near the Inn, and talk to him to gain a Carbon Rod.
