This is Version 1.02 of this walkthrough, posted by Dean James (TheLostLegend) on the 16th of January, 2014 and updated on the 21st of July, 2014. The only reason this walkthrough will ever be updated is when new DLC content is released or if something has slipped between the cracks and needs to be changed.

Version 1.01 updates include several attempts at formatting and editing to make the walkthrough more readable and easy on the reader's eyes.

DOWNLOADABLE TAG TEAMS

The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall)
New World Order (Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Randy Savage, Syxx, Curt Hennig, Scott Steiner and The Giant)
The Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella)

As far as the New World Order is concerned, i made two factions with the same name in order to fit every single last member into the New World Order. There is a specific New World Order trio entrance for Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall so i paired them together in one faction (since they are the original three members) and i paired the rest of them up into a second New World Order faction.

Tag Team Secret Announcements

Now, as far as tag teams go, as like the previous games, the secret winning introductions for specific pairings of wrestlers are back. What do i mean by this? Well, if you pair up two wrestlers who happened to have been a tag team in the past they may very well be announced by their tag team name upon winning a tag team match together.

Here is the list of secret announcements i have managed to find so far:

Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage: The Mega Powers (Doesn't work when pairing Hollywood Hulk Hogan with Randy Savage or Randy Savage (n.W.o.) or when pairing Hulk Hogan with Randy Savage (n.W.o.))
Undertaker/Undertaker (Retro) and Kane/Kane (Retro): The Brothers Of Destruction (Doesn't work when pairing Kane or Kane (Retro) with Undertaker (Biker))
Kevin Nash (n.W.o.) and Scott Hall (n.W.o.): The Outsiders (For some strange reason, this doesn't work when pairing Kevin Nash (Outsiders) with Scott Hall (Outsiders) nor does it work when pairing Kevin Nash (n.W.o.) with Scott Hall (Outsiders) and vice versa)
Kane and Daniel Bryan: Team Hell No
Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow: Team Rhodes Scholars
Triple H/Triple H (Retro) and Stone Cold: The Two-Man Power Trip
Triple H/Triple H (Retro) and Stephanie McMahon: Stephanie McMahon is referred to as Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley

I find it strange that teams such as D-Generation X, Rated RKO and Rock N' Sock Connection do not work with this particular secret.

It seems that, other than the pairing of Kevin Nash (n.W.o.) and Scott Hall (n.W.o.) that are announced as The Outsiders, that downloaded superstars do not count for this particular secret, whether it be a downloaded superstar teaming with a regular superstar or a downloaded superstar teaming with another downloaded superstar.

Match Rules

ENVIROMENT

Post Match Replay: Allows for a replay of the match at the end of the match.

Momentum Bar Charge Speed: Changes the speed of the momentum bar in which you need to build up to gain a signature of finishing move. The faster the momentum bar charge speed, the faster you obtain a signature or finisher.

Interference: You can choose whether a wrestler interferes in the match. Obviously, if the ring is surrounded by a cage or fire then interference is not an option.

Ring Type: Select what condition to hold the match under. If you select any of the cage option or the inferno option but do not select those as matches then standard rules will apply, you won’t be able to win a match under their specific rules (for example, you will not be able to win a match by burning your opponent unless you chose an Inferno Match on the Match Type selection screen). The ring type (and the match type) will determine what above options and options in other fields are available.

WIN CONDITION

The availability of some of these options is limited depending on which match type you choose. The following is written whilst observing under a One On One match-up. It shouldn’t be too much different with the other Match Type options but, obviously, certain match types can determine which options are available.

Pin And Give Up: You can choose whether the match can be won by pinfall, submission or by either. Choosing the pinfall only or submission only options leaves the 2 Out Of 3 Falls and Iron Man options available. Choosing to turn pin and give up off will make the Over The Top Rope, K.O., Last Man Standing and Finisher Match options available.

2 Out Of 3 Falls: Allows for a two out of three falls situation. Just like the previous option this will also affect what options are available. Turning 2 Out Of Three Falls on will make the Iron Man option unavailable.

Iron Man: Allows you to compete under Iron Man rules. Turning the Iron Man option on will make the 2 Out Of Three Falls option unavailable.

Over The Top Rope: Turning this option on will make every other win condition option unavailable and will turn your match into a Battle Royal style match.

K.O.: This option makes it so you can only win a match by knocking your opponent out. Turning this option on will make the Last Man Standing option unavailable.

Last Man Standing: Allows you to compete under Last Man Standing rules in which you need to keep your opponent down for the count of ten to win. Turning this option on will make the K.O. and Finisher Match options unavailable.

Finisher Match: This option makes it so that you need to perform a finisher to win the match. Turning this option on will make the Last Man Standing option unavailable. If you choose to turn off pin and give up and then turn Finisher Match on the Over The Top Rope option will be unavailable.

First Blood: This option is not available unless you choose a First Blood Match in the Match Type screen.

Flaming Table (Table Match Only): This option is only available when you pick to compete in a Table Match.

Climb Out Of The Cage (Cage Match Only): This option is only available when you pick to compete in a Steel Cage Match.

Escape Through Door (Cage Match Only): This option is only available when you pick to compete in a Steel Cage Match.

RULES

DQ: Decide whether your match you have rules or no disqualification.

Rope Break: Choose whether pinfalls and submission will be broken up if a wrestler reaches the ropes.

Ring Out: Choose whether there is no exiting, no count, a 5 count, a 10 count or a 20 count in the match.

Elimination: Exclusive to multi-person matches (Triple Threat, Fatal Four Way, etc.). Choose whether the match will be contested under normal, one fall to a finish rules or under elimination rules where each wrestler involved must be eliminated to win.

Falls Count Anywhere: Decide whether the match can be won anywhere, even outside of the ring. Turning this option on will automatically change the Ring Out option so that there is no count.

Time Limit: Decide how long the match will run

Object Select (Extreme Rules Only): As the title suggests, this is exclusive to the Extreme Rules ring type option located in the Environments section of the Match Creator. This option allows you to choose up to four weapons that can be retrieved from underneath the ring during an Extreme Rules Match. You can choose between a steel chair, a kendo stick, a guitar, a baseball bat and a sledgehammer. There aren’t many options, unfortunately.

30 Years Of Wrestlemania

The WWE Universe revoles around the "Showcase of the Immortals," WrestleMania. And in WWE 2k14, you can experience each and every WrestleMania from the perspective of the Superstars who estanlished their legendary status there. By recreating WrestleMania moments, you can earn the right to be called a true WWE Legend.

Each match you compete in has a list of bonus objectives that you can bring up at any time by pressing Select. Complete the bonuses to unlock Superstars, managers, Championships and alternate attire that you can use in any other game mode and bring the past into a head-on collision with the present!

There is an options menu in this mode, it allows you to change the mode options, this refers to the difficulty of the mode and also allows you to turn on or off subtitles, entrances, tips, adrenaline, blood and auto save. You are also given the ability to change the sound options, you can change the volume for entrance music, menu music, sound effects, voices and cinematics.

Before i get started, there are objectives in this mode which require you to pin an opponent within ten seconds after doing something previously (usually hitting a Finisher). If you do not happen to pin the opponent within those ten seconds or they kick out, simply do the tasks it asks you to do and go for the pinfall again, the ten second count down will reappear. Do not feel obligated to go for the three count and start the match up again if you miss the ten second time frame.

Managed by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Big John Studd cut Andre the Giant's hair following a televised match. Andre, out for revenge, put his career on the line and accepted Studd's challenge to a "$15,000 Body Slam Challenge" match at WrestleMania.

Match Stipulation: 1. Body Slam Big John Studd (Critical) in the ring
Historical Objective: 1. Win the match in under 6 minutes

The Match

Show: WrestleMania 2
Match: Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy
Date: Apr. 7, 1986
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Title Match: WWE Championship
Match Type: Steel Cage

Story Background

On the November 2, 1985 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, Hulk Hogan teamed up with Andre The Giant and were victorious over King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd. On March 1, 1986 during the closing moments of the WWE Title match, Bundy ran into the ring and - with Don Muraco's help - initiated a 2-on-1 assault on Hogan, repeatedly crushing Hogan with the "Avalanche" corner splash. Hogan suffered multiple broken ribs. With revenge on his mind, Hogan decided to ignore his doctor's advice and accepted Bundy's rematch challenge, which would be settled inside a steel cage at WrestleMania 2.

Match Stipulation: 1. Win by escaping the cage
Historical Objective: 1. Body Slam Bundy (Critical) 2. Escape over the cage wall

After the match, Hulk Hogan corners Bobby Heenan in the cage, beats him up, slams him into the cage wall and delivers an Atomic Drop which sends Bobby Heenan outside of the cage and into the arms of the defeated King Kong Bundy. Both King Kong Bundy and Bobby Heenan walk up the ramp defeated as Hulk Hogan celebrates his successful title defense inside the steel cage.

Unlockables Obtained: Bobby Heenan (WrestleMania 1, 2), King Kong Bundy (WrestleMania 2, 11), WrestleMania 2 Arena and Hulk Hogan (WrestleMania 2)

The Match

Story Background

On the November 22, 1986 edition of Superstars, Ricky Steamboat lost his Intercontinental Championship match against "Macho Man" Randy Savage by count out. After the match Savage assaulted Steamboat, fracturing Steamboat's larynx. On the January 3, 1987 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, Steamboat returned from his injury and prevented Savage from attacking George "The Animal" Steele. A supremely confident Savage had little respect for Steamboat and taunted him in a series of interviews as the date for their Intercontinental Championship rematch at WrestleMania 3 approached.

Match Stipulation: 1. Win by Pinfall or Submission

The Match

Show: WrestleMania 3
Match: Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant
Date: Mar. 29, 1987
Location: Pontiac, MI
Title Match: WWE Championship

Story Background

On Piper's Pit, Hulk Hogan was being presented a trophy for retaining the WWE Championship for three years. Andre, feeling disrespected, walked out of the Pit during Hogan's acceptance speech. Andre shocked the world weeks later when he announced that Bobby "The Brain" Heenan was his new manager and challenged Hogan to a title match at WrestleMania 3. Hogan stood in shock as Andre ripped the T-shirt and crucifix necklace from the champion's chest. It was clear that Hogan and Andre's friendship was over. Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 3 was signed, and the world watched as these two legends collided in front of 93,173 fans.

Match Stipulation: 1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
Historical Objective: 1. Grapple Andre (Light) by the ring steps 2. Irish Whip Andre (Critical) in the ring (Hidden Objective) 3. Complete the WrestleMania Moment (Hidden Objective) 4. Hit a Leg Drop on Andre (Hidden Objective)

Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant stare each other down in the center of the ring, Hulk Hogan hulks up and Andre The Giant shoves him in the chest, Hulk Hogan shoves back and the contest begins.

As soon as you start the match, your best bet is to go outside of the ring and beat up Andre The Giant outside the ring for as long as the referee's count allows. Once Andre has light damage, drag him over to the steel ring steps and a cut scene will play. Andre The Giant slaps the chest of Hulk Hogan as he backs towards the ring post, Andre The Giant goes to headbutt Hulk Hogan but Hulk Hogan moves out of the way and Andre The Giant connects with the ring post. Hulk Hogan attempts to deliver a Piledriver to Andre The Giant but Andre The Giant is too strong and delivers a Back Body Drop to Hulk Hogan. Tow hidden objectives will unlock as a result of doing this cut scene.

When Andre The Giant reaches critical damage, Irish Whip him in any direction and a cut scene will play, Hulk Hogan will hulk up and body slam Andre The Giant, this is the Wrestlemania Moment you need to complete with three consecutive buttons that need to be pressed at certain times. Once Hulk Hogan has body slammed Andre The Giant, imply hit Hulk Hogan's Leg Drop Finisher and end the match. Hulk Hogan successfully defends the WWE Championship, successfully moves the immovable object with a body slam and defeats the undefeated Andre The Giant all in the process.

Unlockables Obtained: Andre The Giant (WrestleMania 3, 4), Bobby Heenan (WrestleMania 3), Hulk Hogan (WrestleMania 3) and WrestleMania 3 Arena

The Match

Show: WrestleMania 4
Match: Macho Man vs. Ted DiBiase
Date: Mar. 27, 1988
Location: Atlantic City, NJ
Title Match: WWE Championship

Story Background

On The Main Event in February 1988, Andre defeated Hulk Hogan for the WWE title with the help of an imposter referee. Andre then sold the WWE Championship to "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase proving "everyone has a price, for the Million Dollar Man!". The WWE President however, vacated the WWE Championship and ordered it to be decided in a 14-man tournament at WrestleMania 4. The tournament final saw "Macho Man" Randy Savage take on DiBiase.

Match Stipulation: 1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
Historical Objective: 1. Grapple DiBiase (Moderate) standing in the ring 2. Hit Ted DiBiase with a Top Rope Elbow in the ring (Hidden Objective) 3. Win by Pinfall

Ted DiBiase is led down to the ring by Andre The Giant, definitely giving Ted DiBiase the advantage in this match-up, even if Andre The Giant isn't legally able to intervene in the match-up.

Upon grappling Ted DiBiase in a standing position when he is at moderate damage in the ring a cut scene will play and Randy Savage will deliver an Atomic Drop to Ted DiBiase and take him outside the ring. Randy Savage climbs to the top rope in order to dive onto Ted DiBiase on the outside but Andre The Giant blocks his path. Hulk Hogan comes down the ramp in order to be the fighting force against Andre The Giant whilst Randy Savage focuses on Ted DiBiase in the ring.

When you get a Finisher the hidden objective will be unlocked and you will be prompted to hit an Elbow Drop from the top rope. As you go for the Elbow Drop a cut scene will play, Randy Savage goes for the Elbow Drop, Ted DiBiase rolls out of the way and locks in the Million Dollar Dream submission hold, Randy Savage reaches the ropes but Andre The Giant, on the outside of the ring, swats Randy Savage's hand away. The referee tends to Andre The Giant and, whilst he does so, Hulk Hogan comes into the ring with a chair and hits Ted DiBiase in the back with it, Ted DiBiase falls to the mat below, lets go of his hold on Randy Savage and you are left to pick up the pieces. Climb to the top rope and hit Ted DiBiase with the top rope Elbow Drop Finisher and then pin Ted DiBiase and win the match and the vacant WWE Championship.

After the match, Randy Savage celebrates his championship win with Hulk Hogan and Miss Elizabeth as the crowd goes crazy. Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan shake hands in the middle of the ring and Randy Savage hands the gold to Miss Elizabeth. Randy Savage takes the title from Miss Elizabeth and hands it to Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage then lifts Miss Elizabeth onto his shoulders and Hulk Hogan hands Miss Elizabeth the WWE Championship. All three celebrate the victory in the middle of the ring as the crowd cheer on.

Unlockables Obtained: Hulk Hogan (WrestleMania 4), Ted DiBiase "Million Dollar Man" (WrestleMania 4), WWE Championship '88-'98, WrestleMania 4 Arena and Randy Savage "Macho Man" (WrestleMania 4)

The Match

Show: WrestleMania 5
Match: Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage
Date: Apr. 2, 1989
Location: Atlantic City, NJ
Title Match: WWE Championship

Story Background

At WrestleMania 4 in March 1988, "Macho Man" Randay Savage defeated "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase in a 14-man tournament final to win the vacant WWE Championship, with a little help from Hulk Hogan. Hogan and Savage formed the dominant tag team known as The Mega Powers. Seemingly, nothing and no one could stop The Mega Powers! However, long-brewing tension between Hogan and Savage surfaced during a match against The Twin Towers on The Main Event. Savage was thrown out of the ring, hitting and knocking Miss Elizabeth unconscious. Hogan carried her to the back, leaving Savage to fend for himself. This era was incredibly short and rushed, i think the reason for this is the fact that WWE '13 goes through the Attitude Era in more detail and that they would just be repeating matches from the last game if they made this era any more detailed. There are a lot of undercard matches they could have added to this era but though that weren't on WWE '13.

Match Type: No Disqualification Career vs. Streak

Story Background

At the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels was unsuccessful in defeating Undertaker. The match won the 2009 Slammy Award for Match of the Year. Michaels, accepting the award, claimed that he could still beat Undertaker at WrestleMania and challenged him to a rematch. A month later, Undertaker would refuse his request. Undertaker's refusal saw the "Heartbreak Kid" more obsessed about facing the "Deadman" than ever. After failing to win the Royal Rumble match and Elimination Chamber qualifiers, HBK interfered in the Undertaker's Elimination Chamber match, costing Undertaker his World Heavyweight Championship. The following night on Raw, Undertaker accepted the rematch on one condition, if Michaels loses, he would have to retire. Michaels accepted, noting that if he can't end the strek, there's no reason for his career to continue. Two weeks later, it was announced that the match will have no disqualifications and no count-outs.

Match Stipulation: 1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
Historical Objective: 1. Perform a Tombstone Piledriver outside the ring 2. Grapple HBK (Moderate) at the Announce Table 3. Use a Tombstone/Pin Combo on HBK (Critical) in the ring (Hidden Objective) 4. Win by Tombstone/Pin Combo in the ring (Hidden Objective)

Deliver the Tombstone Piledriver to Shawn Michaels outside the ring and then grapple Shawn Michaels when he has moderate damage near the announce table, a cut scene will play in which Undertaker goes to deliver the Last Ride to Shawn Michaels through the announce table, Shawn Michaels slips out of Undertaker's grasp and delivers the Sweet Chin Music to Undertaker. Shawn Michaels places Undertaker on the announce table and then slowly climbs up onto the apron and then up to the top rope, he dives off of the ropes and delivers a Moonsault to Undertaker through the announce table. This will unlock the first hidden objective

Next, get Shawn Michaels to critical damage and then use a Tombstone Piledriver in the ring, ensuring you use the pin combination that goes along with the Tombstone Piledriver by pressing the appropriate button when prompted and a cut scene will play in which Shawn Michaels kicks out at the very last second. Undertaker cannot believe it, he gets to his feet and stands over Shawn Michaels as Shawn Michaels uses Undertaker as a stand in order to get to his feet. Undertaker does the cut throat taunt, signalling that the end is near. Shawn Michaels looks up at Undertaker and also does the cut throat taunt before slapping Undertaker right in the face. John Cena won the Raw brand's Elimination Chamber Match, earning a WWE Championship opportunity against The Miz. One night later on Raw, Cena produced a rap questioning The Rock's commitment to the WWE. On the March 28, 2011 episode of Raw, The Rock and John Cena confronted each other until The Miz came out and attacked The Rock. After the assault, Cena hit The Rock with an Attitude Adjustment to end the show.

Match Stipulation: 1. Win by Pinfall or Submission 2. Hit a People's Elbow on The Miz (Hidden Stipulation)
Historical Objective: 1. Succeed at the WrestleMania Moment 2. Grapple Cena (Critical) at the Announce Table (Hidden Objective) 3. Pin Cena in the ring & win (Hidden Objective)

Stand near the referee as John Cena gets to his feet to execute the WrestleMania Moment, John Cena will charge at The Miz, The Miz moves out of the way and John Cena connects with the referee. Next, get John Cena to critical damage and then grapple him near the announce table, a cut scene will play in which both men tie up on the outside and John Cena throws The Miz into the crowd barricade. John Cena backs up, prepares himself and then charges at The Miz and takes him up and over the crowd barricade with a clothesline. John Cena backs up once more and as The Miz sits on top of the crowd barricade in an attempt to get back over, John Cena charges at The Miz and spears him right over the crowd barricade and into the crowd. In the process, the referee counts to ten and rings the bell. The ring announcer announces that the match is a draw and that The Miz successfully retains as a result to the jeers from the crowd.

Just as everything seems like it is over, The Rock's music hits and the crowd cheer as The Rock comes out and announced that Wrestlemania isn't over yet, this match will be restarted, it is time to give the fans what they want. The bell rings and both John Cena and The Miz slowly climb back over the crowd barricade and meet face to face for round two. Finaly, get John Cena back into the ring and a cut scene will play in which John Cena tries to connect with the Attitude Adjustment on The Miz but The Miz manages to counter out of it. John Cena turns around just in time to get a Rock Bottom from The Rock who remained on the outside of the ring after restarting the match. Simply pin John Cena in the ring and successfully retain the WWE Championship.

After the match The Miz celebrates his championship victory with The Rock watching on from the outside of the ring. The eyes of both The Miz and The Rock meet and a staredown occurs between on another. The Rock slides into the ring and The Miz throws the WWE Championship to one side and a fight is on. Story Background

On the Feb. 21, 2012 edition of Raw, Undertaker made his return after a ten-month absence, a return that was interrupted by Triple H. The two men stared each other down and both peered at the WrestleMania 28 marquee, teasing a possible return match from their WrestleMania 27 classic. Shawn Michaels criticized Triple H and repeatedly goaded him into accepting Undertakers challenge. Triple H would continue to refuse Undertakers Challenge. Undertaker claimed that the "Heartbreak Kid" was history and attempted to chokeslam Michaels, but was stopped by "The Game." After weeks of goading by Undertaker and HBK, Triple H agreed to the match. Undertaker, playing mind games, said to Triple H, "You remember when i said that Shawn is beter than you? He is." The showdown was billed as the "End of an Era," and it lived up to the hype.

Match Stipulation: 1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
Historical Objective: 1. Get Triple H to Moderate damage 2. Chokeslam Triple H 3. Hidden Objective 4. Hidden Objective

Undertaker and Triple H stare each other inside the ring as the cell lowers around them to start the Hell In A Cell Match.

First, get Triple H to moderate damage and then deliver a Chokeslam Signature to Triple H (in either order, you will probably end up delivering the Chokeslam first). Now that you have hit a Signature, keep your Finisher, we need it later on. Complete both objectives and Triple H will slide out of the ring and grab a steel chair, don't bother countering the shot he delivers with the steel chair, he will only counter any shot you deliver with it or, if you throw the chair away, he will go and grab it to set up the next event.

As Triple H delivers a shot with the steel chair a cut scene will play in which Triple H drives the steel chair into Undertaker over and over and over again, Shawn Michaels steps in as the referee but Triple H shoves him to one side and continues to beat down Undertaker with the steel chair. Shawn Michaels steps in again and wrenches the steel chair from Triple H and throws it to one side. Shawn Michaels informs Triple H that Undertaker won't quit, so Triple H tells Shawn Michaels to end it. As Shawn Michaels goes to check on Undertaker, Undertaker locks in the Hell's Gate submission hold on Shawn Michaels. Triple H, seeing his friend in agony, grabs a nearby sledgehammer and drives the sledgehammer down across the head of Undertaker.

After a while, the first hidden objective will appear. Simply get Triple H to critical damage and then deliver the Tombstone Piledriver to him in the ring, a cut scene will play in which Undertaker goes for the Tombstone Piledriver but Triple H slides out of it and shoves Undertaker into the path of Shawn Michaels who connects with the Sweet Chin Music. Undertaker turns around and right into the path of Triple H who connects with the Pedigree. Triple H covers Undertaker and Shawn Michaels make a relatively quick pinfall, but Undertaker still manages to kick out.

Build up to a Finisher and connect with the Tombstone Piledriver on Triple H and pin Triple H with the pin combination when prompted and win the match. After the match, the cell rises and both Shawn Michaels and Undertaker help Triple H to his feet and both men help Triple H out of the ring and up the ramp. Having gone through a war, each man puts all of that aside and all three men hug on the ramp in a sign of respect and they all hold each others arms up in victory as the end of an era comes to a close.

Historical Objective: 1. Hit a Top Rope Elbow to Y2J at ringside 2. Hit a GTS on Y2J (Critical) 3. Escape The Walls of Jericho (Hidden Objective) 4. Defeat Jericho with the Anaconda Vise (Hidden Objective)

Build up to a Signature, once you have a Signature, get Chris Jericho down and out on the outside of the ring and then climb to the top rope and deliver a Diving Elbow to Chris Jericho on the outside of the ring. 30 Years of WrestleMania

Congratulations!
You have completed 100% of the Historical objectives.
You are the WWE 2K14 Historical Champion!

A promo plays showcasing the grandieur of the biggest stage of them all, Wrestlemania. You are informed that you have witnessed the greatest superstars in WWE history, icons that have entertained millions of WWE fans. As attitudes changed, so too did the WWE superstars and the superstars of today clashed with the titans of yesteryear. As past glory fades, a new era is born. The quesiton is asked, what future legends will be made, what memorable moments have yet to be created, what greatness will the WWE universe bare witness to at the Showcase Of The Immortals, the Grand Daddy Of Them All, Wrestlemania?

The Streak

The Streak is a new mode added to the WWE games, buried away within the confines of the 30 Years Of Wrestlemania mode and involves the player either defeating or defending the streak in a Slobber Knocker, gauntlet-styled match-up either with or against The Undertaker who holds the record of twenty one wins, zero losses at Wrestlemania (at the time of writing this).

Before you even start up Defeat The Streak, know that to get the unlockables below you need to have already unlocked King Kong Bundy or Diesel, Batista and Shawn Michaels as playable characters (you already have Kane by default), the earliest you can get all of these unlockables below is when you unlock the first variation of Batista in Match 30 of the 30 Years Of Wrestlemania mode (which, if you have followed this guide in order, you should have unlocked all of those wrestlers). On top of that, to unlock all of the Wrestlemania match photos for the streak and obtain the 'Rest in peace' trophy you must also beat this mode with either King Kong Bundy or Diesel (whoever you didn't use earlier), Triple H, Big Show or Tensai (Big Show has better overall stats than Tensai), Randy Orton, Edge and CM Punk (you already have Triple H, Big Show, Tensai, Randy Orton and CM Punk by default)

If you choose to Defeat The Streak you will be able to choose which wrestler you want to challenge Undertaker's streak with, for the sake of getting all the unlockables below i am going to choose Diesel and play with him first. Now, keep in mind, Undertaker is set to a difficulty higher than that of Legendary and anything goes in this match, weapons can be used. The best strategy, in my opinion, is to get Undertaker outside of the ring and beat the living Hell out of him, he won't be able to lock in the Hell's Gate on you and make you submit on the outside, nor will he be able to pin you unexpectedly on the outside either. Once you think you have Undertaker beaten, throw him back into the ring and pin him and hope for the best.

Remember, you can use weapons in this match so be sure to utilise them, i find the ring bell to be the best weapon to use, it doesn't break and it is easy to utilise. Also, keep in mind that after hitting a Finisher or a big move, the lights may go out, meaning Undertaker will get to his feet and end up right behind you when the lights come back on, he may also suddenly lock in the Hell's Gate submission hold as you go for a pinfall or attempt to grab him off of the ground, so be weary of that.

Defeat Undertaker and the streak with Diesel or King Kong Bundy, Kane (doesn't matter which one), Shawn Michaels (the later Shawn Michaels has higher stats than the retro Shawn Michaels) and Batista in order to obtain all of the unlockables available in this mode. Defeat Undertaker and the streak with either King Kong Bundy or Diesel (whoever you didn't use earlier), Triple H (current Triple H has higher overall stats than retro Triple H), Big Show or Tensai (Big Show, doesn't matter which one, has better overall stats than Tensai), Randy Orton, Edge and CM Punk in order to obtain all of the Wrestlemania photos for the streak and obtain the 'Rest in peace' trophy and, as a result of defeating Undertaker and the streak, you will obtain the 'Legend Killer' trophy.

In the process of wrestling Undertaker, allow him to pin you five times in one single match and be sure to kick out, this will allow you to obtain the 'Epic Match' trophy. Undertaker rarely pins you until you are fairly damaged so, if you are having trouble reaching five pinfall attempts and kickouts before Undertaker defeats you, remember you can change Undertaker's moveset in the WWE Creations mode. If you need to, change all of Undertaker's Signatures and Finishers to low impact, low damaging pinfalls in order to get pinfalls faster.

If you do all of what i mentioned in the last two paragraphs you will obtain everything there is to obtain in this particular mode.

Trophies Obtained: Legend Killer, Epic Match, Rest in peace: Unlock all of the WrestleMania match photos in Defeat The Streak. (13 out of 42 obtained)

Unlockables Obtained: Undertaker (Wrestlemania 11, 12), Undertaker (Wrestlemania 14), Undertaker (Wrestlemania 23) and Undertaker (Wrestlemania 26)

If you choose to Defend The Streak you will play as Undertaker (one of the various variations, it doesn't matter) and defend your streak as a barrage of wrestlers come down to the ring, one-by-one, in order to pin you and end the streak. The roster you currently have unlocked will cycle through, you will play everyone once and if you make it through enough opponents, you will see the same opponents show up for a second round. Your objective is simple, last as long as you can before your natural conclusion (you are pinned or you reach the maximum amount of victims at one hundred).

There is no set strategy to take to this mode, there is no cheats or a guide or anything in order to make your way through each opponent as very circumstance could end up being very different. The strategy i took was to attack fast and build up to a Signature, hit a Signature and pin the opponent, if they kicked out i would hit with a Finisher and pin to eliminate the opponent. Nine times out of ten the opponent wouldn't kick out after i had hit a Signature and a Finisher (the only one that did for me was The Great Khali). Continue this sequence all the way through, use your Signature and Finisher as attempts to eliminate your opponent, pin after each Signature and Finisher and continue onward. Try not to allow your opponent to do too much damage as Undertaker will tire out as a result. After every five victims you will rejuvenate a little bit of health, so keep that in mind as you play through.

Your main objective whilst defending the streak is to last to at least fifty victims, so, if you plan on doing this then be sure to put aside around about an hour to accomplish this, it can be quite the lengthy feat. You will obtain the 'The Deadman' trophy for surviving ten opponents, the 'The Demon of Death Valley' trophy for surviving thirty opponents and the 'Lord of Darkness' trophy for surviving fifty opponents. The moment you are pinned or make it to the maximum of one hundred opponents you will obtain the 'The Phenom' trophy for playing the match to its natural conclusion, win or lose. On top of that, you will also unlock the Slobber Knocker Match for Play mode for surviving against twenty one or more opponents.

Trophies Obtained: The Deadman, The Demon of Death Valley, Lord of Darkness and The Phenom (17 out of 42 obtained)

Unlockables Obtained: Slobber Knocker Match - Play mode

If you happen to get pinned, simply try again. It's a pain in the behind to have to try again, but it's worth it to collect everything. Remember, it's usually the wrestler you least expect that manages to pin you in this type of match. On Smackdown 2 for Playstation 1 i was pinned by Taka Michinoku in a Slobber Knocker Match, out of all people and then later, in another Slobber Knocker Match, i was pinned by his Kaientai partner, Funaki.

Anyway, enough rambling on. There are other minor parts of the The Streak mode that you can check out also, including Statistics for your gameplay in both Defeat The Streak and Defend The Streak and weekly rankings for all online players and superstars that you have beaten the streak with in Defeat The Streak. Be sure to check out how you have faired.

There is also an option to check out the Wrestlemania Victims of The Undertaker. The list skips a few victims names (Wrestlemania 9 being Giant Gonzalez and Wrestlemania 13 being Psycho Sid). It also lists Undertaker's opponents for Wrestlemania 19 as Big Show and Tensai and, sure, this is true, but Tensai was known as A-Train back then. Regardless, there is a nice list of all the opponents Undertaker has beaten during his 21-0 undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.

WWE Universe

In the WWE Universe mode you have complete control over the show, you can book matches, determine who is on which brand, you can create your own tag teams between existing stars, you can create feuds between your favourite and least favourite stars, you can control the world of the WWE within your fingertips.

Play Matches: A little less creative on the name this time around, first up is the Play Matches section. In this area this is where you can book your matches, put titles on the line and create your own storylines. The Play Matches section will come with a random, pre-existing card and it is up to you to change it how you wish. You can book any match with any superstars you have unlocked, including your own created wrestlers.

You can choose to Simulate the matches so the winners of the match are determined for you or you can Play the match in order to test your might against the other members of the roster and even edit the stipulations of the match booked with the ‘Match Rules’ option and the Match Pace option in order to make the match ‘Normal’, ‘Quick’ or ‘Epic’ which will determine how the match is laid out.

It is within the confines of this section that you can achieve the majority of the WWE Universe mode unlockables and trophies that need to be achieved.

Calendar: A little more creative on the name this time around. Clicking on Calendar will obviously open up the calendar for the WWE year, it will show which shows are booked and on what days and you can choose to customize the calendar in order to change the day or date of events. If you can’t be bothered simulating through all of the booked shows or want to do a certain event straight away, simply click on the event you want to simulate to and allow for the calendar to be simulated all the way up to that certain point.

Rivalries: This section, as the name suggests, allows you to set up specific rivalries for your shows. You can choose to view the current rivalries which will take you to a list of rivalries on your current brands and will also allow you to delete and create rivalries. By selecting to create a rivalry you can choose the type (one on one or two on two) and the duration of the rivalry (short rivalry; four weeks, medium rivalry; eight weeks, or long rivalry; twelve weeks) and, naturally, you can choose who is involved in the rivalry.

You can also choose to play a current rivalry, this option will take you straight to the first Rivalry Match booked on your calendar, whether it is the top rivalry on a specific brand or not. On top of all of thise, you can also view the rivalries that happened in the past and who happened to win a specific rivalry, some interesting rivalries are randomly created.

WWE.com: In this section you will find the news that comes as a result of the past week’s shows, events such as a new champion being crowned can be found in the WWE.com section. If you click on Latest News you can open up to a new section which provides you with even more news regarding what is going on with your brands and your shows.

In this section you can also view the current rankings in the WWE. By clicking on the current rankings you can view the current rankings for each championship currently in contention for each current brand and see how the superstars on your roster are faring against the other superstars of the roster. Each wrestler will be placed into title contention for the particular title they are most suited for on your roster and superstars can be added or removed depending on how well they perform on the shows throughout a weekly basis.

You can Edit the ranks how you wish so the wrestler you want on top is on top, however they still need to do well on a weekly basis to maintain the number one contenders position, otherwise you are going to have to Edit the ranks constantly to keep them at the top. This is a good way to make sure certain wrestlers win specific championships.

There is also a Stats section in the WWE.com section which allows you to look at the statistics of your championships, like how many times the current champion has held the championship and how long they have held the championship for currently. Clicking into a specific championship belt will allow you to view the rankings of the championship belt and find out the amount of times a specific superstar has held the belt and how many weeks they have held the belt for.

You can also view the statistics of your shows currently active, you can view things like who were the past champions of your major, minor, tag and divas titles and you can also view historical statistics such as who has held the titles of your specific brand the most times and who has held the titles of your specific brand for the longest period of time.

You can also view things such as the number of opponents eliminated in a single Royal Rumble, the most time spent in a Royal Rumble, the most wins of a Royal Rumble, most opponents eliminated in total and number of appearances in a Royal Rumble. You can also view things such as the most wins at Wrestlemania, the most appearances at Wrestlemania and the most amount of main events at Wrestlemania, number of Money In The Bank wins and number of wins after cashing in the Money In The Bank. All of the default statistics generally reference actual, real-life statistics.

Customize Universe

There are sub-several sections to this section of the WWE Universe mode.

Edit Calendar: This section allows you to edit or delete shows currently on the calendar, you can change things like the name of the show, the logo, the roster, the arena the show is held in, the match-up screen, the championships in contention on the show, the amount of matches per card and whether there is a universe draft. On top of all of that, you can even add your own ‘Major’ or ‘Minor’ created events to the calendar, ‘Major’ events allow for a much grander roster with more championships to contest for and greater storylines to be created and ‘Minor’ events allow for a smaller roster, no championships can be exclusive to this event but they can be defended on the actual show when you create the match card, it is, as the name suggests, simply a minor show.

Edit Superstars: This section allows you to customize every single superstar, whether they are on your roster or not. This section will list every single superstar you have unlocked, created or downloaded and you will be able to edit things like their attributes, their abilities, their finishers, their hit point ratios and even their crowd reaction alignment. You can also edit their Contendership Settings; this is simply another method to pushing your desired superstar up the ranks. You can also edit their Relationships, whether they have Allies, Rivals or whether they are a part of a team (the creation of a team can be done in many ways, this being just one).

You can also look at the superstars Statistics and see how they are faring with their career on your shows. The Statistics section will show things like how many times the particular superstar has won a specific championship, how long they have been active on your roster, how many Royal Rumble wins, appearances, opponents eliminated and time in the Royal Rumble they have managed to accumulate, how many Wrestlemania appearances, main event appearances, wins and win ratio they have managed to accumulate and how many Money In The Bank wins and ratio of wins after cashing in that they have managed to accumulate.

Edit Rosters: This section allows you to, as the name suggests, edit your roster. You can choose which wrestlers appear on your rosters by adding or removing wrestlers from the roster. You can also rename your brand and change your brand’s logo and even choose to add or remove wrestlers from your current roster list.

Edit Teams: This section, again, as the name suggests, allows you to edit the teams on your roster. There should already be a few premade teams on your roster unless you have removed them all; you can also add more teams with the limit being seventy teams in total, more than enough to work with. The events of your shows may also lead to teams being created or disbanded as their allies and enemies list changes and the events of your show unfold, this can lead to some extremely strange random pairings. Upon editing or creating a new team you can name your team, choose the announcement name that best describes your team, edit the members of the team, the limit per team being five and you can even edit your teams entrance and tag team move set.

Edit Titles: This section, simply put; you can choose who is champion. Leaving a title Vacant will make the title defunct and therefore won’t be used for your shows.

Story Options: These are simply the options for the WWE Universe mode, this section allows you to choose whether Automatic Rivalries stories, Team Breakups/Creations stories, Crowd Reaction Changing stories or Injury stories are on or off, this allows you to control what type of stories appear on your shows. Toggle the items on this screen On/Off to enable or disable stories occurring within the WWE Universe. You can set all stories to Off, or else toggle the individual story types to disable only stories leading to specific negative outcomes.

Reset WWE Universe: This is pretty self-explanatory; really, this option allows you to reset the WWE Universe mode back to its default settings; this means match progress, stable information, shows, rosters and superstars will be reset to their default settings. You may wish to edit some of the settings after resetting the WWE Universe mode to change them back to the desired settings. This option can help you start all over again without having to go through too much effort to do so.

WWE Universe Trophies/Unlockables

Now, much like the previous game, there are trophies and unlockables you can obtain within the WWE Universe mode. First and foremost, if you haven't created a wrestler then go ahead and do so, also create a custom arena. There is a section below this that explains what trophies you can obtain within the WWE Creations section of the game.

Next, go to WWE Universe mode and click the Rivalries option, you will see a list of Current Rivalries at the top and a list of Past Rivalries at the bottom which should be empty if you haven't played WWE Universe mode yet. Click on Current Rivalries, delete one of the rivalries that have been set up if there isn't any room and then create a rivalry of your own with a created wrestler to obtain the 'Excuse me!' trophy (the rivalry can contain anyone, but we need it to contain a created wrestler for a later unlockable).

Trophies Obtained: Excuse me! (18 out of 42 obtained)

Next, go to Customize Universe and Edit Calendar and click one of the empty spaces on the Calendar in order to create your own show. Create a show which has a Major, a Minor and a Tag Team Championship. Once you have created a new show, simulate through the Calendar until the last week of your created wrestler's rivalry (you can check how long you have got by going to Rivalry and checking your character's rivalry). If you set up a short rivalry, the rivalry should end at Extreme Rules if you have only just started playing WWE Universe mode.

Once you have reached the last week of your rivalry, find the match on the card involving your created wrestler and their rival and tweak the match so it is a Triple Threat Match involving your created wrestler, your rival and a third wrestler with the major championship of your created show on the line in an Extreme Rules Match and make it so this match takes place in the arena you created earlier. The reason why we are picking an Extreme Rules Match is that it allows us to have no rules, we can use weapons and we can freely roam outside of the ring without a pesky count from the referee. We are doing this match simply to knock out a large chunk of the trophies in the list, most of which come from just doing a match and obtain a few unlockables in the process.

What you need to do whilst in this match is as follows; successfully reverse a Finisher, break the crowd barricade in two places, successfully perform a Comeback move, land a Catch or Catapult Finisher, use a wake-up taunt, land a Finisher and immediately pin your opponent, attack the same body part ten times using limb targetting, crawl to the ropes during a submission attempt from the opponent, break the announce table with an OMG move and perform an OMG 'Shell Shocked' move.

Clearly, as all of this suggests, the wrestler you choose needs to be able to perform most, if not all, of these moves so you may also want to tweak your created character's moveset before you start up the match, ensuring that your created character's Finisher is one of two variations of the Shell Shocked (it is needed to get the 'Finish Them!' trophy and doubles up as a Catch Finisher for the 'You can't let down your guard' trophy also) and that your character has 'Comeback' as an ability and that you have assigned your character a Comeback move and know where in the ring to perform it. You cannot use two controllers and gain these trophies against a second player, you will not be able to obtain the trophies this way, you must face a computer player to obtain them. You also cannot set your character to have infinite Finishers as you won't be able to obtain the 'Comeback' or 'A winning combination' trophies with infinite Finishers.

If you chose to compete in your own created arena you should get the 'This is my yard!' trophy as the match loads up. Once the match starts up, my suggestion would be to first allow your opponents to do several moves (like a submission so you can crawl out of it and obtain the 'Reached the ropes!' trophy) and build up to a Finisher, counter the Finisher and you will obtain the 'Watch out!' trophy. Wait until you are prompted to hit a Comeback move, hit the Comeback move and the correct button combinations in order to hit the Comeback move successfully and you will obtain the 'Comeback' trophy.

It's now your turn to take out your opponents, start taking out the opponents and knocking off all of the above of of your checklist until they are all done. There are several things we can do in the ring, so, with that being said, build up to and store a Finisher. Once you have stored a Finisher, Irish Whip one of the opponents into the corner of the ring and then Irish Whip the second opponent into the corner of the ring so they are leaning against each other and facing in your direction. Next, walk over to the two opponents and the OMG indicator will appear, hit an OMG move and, if you had Shell Shocked set as your Finisher you will perform a Double Shell Shocked and obtain the 'Finish Them!' trophy.

Next, build up to and store another Finisher, pick one of the opponents up and Irish Whip them into the ropes, they will bounce off of the ropes and come back in your direction, you will be prompted to lift them into the air, do so and then connect with your Finisher in order to deliver a Catch Finisher (in our case, the Shell Shocked) and you will obtain the 'You can't let down your guard' trophy. Next, with the opponent down, perform limb targetting on a specific body part of the opponent, being mindful of the other opponent lurking nearby. You will only be able to do limb targetting around two times before the opponent will counter. Limb target the same body part of the same opponent ten times and you will obtain the 'Fighting Smart' trophy.

We are ready to leave the ring now, leave the ring and build up to and store a Finisher, Irish Whip your opponent into one of four corners of the crowd barricade and perform an OMG move, you will spear your opponent through the crowd barricade. Build up to and store another Finisher and perform the OMG move one more time to a second corner of the crowd barricade and you will obtain the 'It's like a car crash!' trophy. Next, build up to and store another Finisher and clear the top of the announce table of all of its material and Irish Whip your opponent at the table, lift your opponent up onto the table and perform an OMG move, you will deliver the Shell Shocked right through the table and obtain the 'Oh my!' trophy.

With all of that done, slide back into the ring, build up and store a Finisher and perform a wake-up taunt, hit your Finisher and successfully pin your opponent for the three count to get the final trophy you can obtain in this match, the 'A wining combination!' trophy. As a result for winning a match with a created superstar in WWE Universe mode you also get the 'A Superstar is born!' trophy on top of everything else you have obtained.

Trophies Obtained: Watch out!, It's like a car crash!, Comeback!, You can't let down your guard, A winning combination!, Fighting Smart, Reached the ropes!, Oh my!, This is my yard!, Finish Them! and A Superstar is born! (29 out of 42 obtained)

Unlockables Obtained: World Heavyweight Championship '86, World Heavyweight Championship '87, NXT Championship, ECW World Heavyweight Championship '94-'01, WCW World Heavyweight Championship '91-'93, WCW Cruiserweight Championship, WCW Hardcore Championship, World Heavyweight Championship (nWo), AWA Classic World Heavyweight Championship

Next, if there is a title defense for the minor championship of your show on the current card then edit it so you are competing in an Extreme Rules Match for the minor championship of your show and play the match as the champion or challenger and win. If not, simply edit another match on the current card and have the minor championship of your show on the line in an Extreme Rules Match and play and win the match.

Unlockables Obtained: ECW World Television Championship, WCW World United States Championship

Moving onward. Next, go back to the Rivalries section and set up a two-on-two rivalry involving your created wrestler and a tag team partner of your choosing feuding against the Tag Team Champions of your created show. Once the Rivalry has been created, simulate to the last week of that rivalry and tweak the Tag Team Championship match that is booked on the show between your created wrestler, your partner and the Tag Team Champions so that it is competed in an Extreme Rules Match.

Unlockables Obtained: NXT Tag Team Championship, World Tag Team Championship '85-'98. World Tag Team Championship '98'-02, ECW World Tag Team Championship, WCW World Tag Team Championship

Once you have obtained all of those unlockables, next, go to the Calendar and simulate all the way to the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. Once you are at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, edit the Money In The Bank Match and add your created wrestler to it (if it isn't in it already) and play and win the Money In The Bank Match in order to get the 'Mr. Money in the Bank' trophy.

Upon winning Money In The Bank, cash in on one of the two World Champions and win the match and the title to obtain the 'History is created!' trophy. It should be easy to cash in on and win the championship from whoever walks out of the World Championship match as champion as they will already be worn down and you will start with a Signature already ready to use. You will also, in turn, unlock the World Heavyweight Championship '86 and the World Heavyweight Championship '87 for winning or defending a Major Championship.

Next, simulate all the way until Royal Rumble and compete in the Royal Rumble as anyone you want and ensure you eliminate eleven people, you will obtain the 'The Big Red Monster' trophy as a result. If you don't do it the first time around then simply select to have a rematch and try again. Remember, whoever wins the Royal Rumble main events Wrestlemania, keep that in mind. I had The Rock win the Royal Rumble.

Lastly, simulate all the way to Wrestlemania and compete in and win a match as your created wrestler (it doesn't matter what match you have) to obtain the 'A once in a lifetime event'. Whilst you are at Wrestlemania, win or defend the WWE or World title with The Rock (hence why i had The Rock win the Royal Rumble earlier in order to unlock the WWE Championship (Brahma Bull).

Trophies Obtained: Mr. Money in the Bank, History is created!, The Big Red Monster and A once in a lifetime event (33 out of 42 obtained)

Unlockables Obtained: World Heavyweight Championship '86, World Heavyweight Championship '87 and WWE Championship (Brahma Bull)

The next trophies i will list are 'Invincible man' (which you need to win at least twenty matches on Hard difficulty or higher in WWE Universe or Play mode to obtain), 'Feed me more!' (which you need to win at least fifty matches on Hard difficulty or higher in WWE Universe or Play mode) and 'Hall of pain' (which you need to defeat a total of ten opponents by knockout to obtain). Notice two of these trophies you need to win matches on Hard difficulty or higher, this is why i have had you play all the previous matches in Hard difficulty.

Having already played through WWE Universe mode and obtained the trophies and unlockables, we have already played four matches which contibute to getting the aforementioned trophies, those matches were; a single match for a Minor Championship, cashing in of the Money In The Bank briefcase, a match at Wrestlemania as a created character and a World Championship match as The Rock (The Triple Threat for a Major Championship, the tag team match for the Tag Team Championships, the Money In The Bank match and the Royal Rumble match do not count as they must be single player matches).

On top of what you have already played, play ten matches in which the only way to win is to knock your opponent out. To set up such a match, set up a match and go to the Match Rules, change K.O. so it is on and change Pin and Submission so that neither option ends the match. After playing ten matches and winning all ten matches via knockout you will obtain the 'Hall of pain' trophy.

At this point, you should have around fourteen matches under Hard difficulty completed, this leaves thirty six more matches to complete. This may seem like a daunting task, but it is really rather simple. If you aren't someone who plays matches in Play or Universe mode often then set up a match in which the wrestler you are playing as has infinite Finishers, go to the Match Rules and, much like we did earlier with the matches we won via knockout, change the settings so you can only win a match via hitting your Finisher, this will allow you to win matches incredibly fast and get the 'Invincible man' and 'Feed me more!' trophies quickly.

Trophies Obtained: Invincible man, Feed me more! and Hall of pain (36 out of 42 obtained)

Finally, simply go ahead and change your settings so that you are competing on Legend difficulty and then set up a match which involves yourself (as any character) facing Brock Lesnar in the No Way Out Arena. Defeat Brock Lesnar at No Way Out on Legend difficulty and you will unlock Eddie Guerrero as a playable character.

Unlockables Obtained: Eddie Guerrero

WWE Creation

I am not going to explain WWE Creation in extreme detail, if i really wanted to i could write a whole walkthrough on WWE Creation alone but i don't think that is really necessary as most people know what this area entails or at least can get the idea from checking the section out. WWE Creation offers up so many different ways that you can play the game to your own style, from creating your very own character and entrance and assigning them with a moveset and your own created finishers, all the way to creating your very own storyline, arena and even a championship or two.

Create a Superstar is the staple of WWE wrestling games and has been a part of the franchise since the early WWE games on the first Playstation. Over the years Create A Superstar has advances from simply choosing a head, torso and a body and a select few moves to an incredibly detailed creation mode that allows you to be as creative as possible. You are able to change everything, change your face, sculpt your body, shape your character and give your character detailed attires with a little work in order to create the best created character possible. You are also able to change the fine details such as attributes, abilities, crowd signs and even write out a small profile for your character. The possibilities with Create a Superstar are seemingly endless.

Before we move on, create a character that has a superstars head and a social network account in order to obtain two trophies. Now, you do not need to put a lot of time and effort into making this created wrestler, it is simply to achieve the trophies, you can always delete it later on if necessary.

Trophies Obtained: Woo Woo Woo!!! and One of a Kind Superstar (38 out of 42 obtained)

Superstar Threads allows you to alter the attires of the wrestlers on the game in order to create new attires for those wrestlers. You can change the color scheme of every last wrestlers attires and add a little flare to their get-up. Superstar Threads also allows you to change the crowd signs of the wrestlers on the game.

The Entrance section allows you to change the entrances of current and created wrestlers on the game. You can choose to do an easy creation and simply change the wrestlers motion, champion motion, multi-title motion, movie and music and newer applied options such as mini-trons and whether movie will be displayed on the header, the wall, the electronic billboard and the mini-tron.

The advanced creation option however takes all of this to the next step in which you can change certain points in a wrestlers entrance in order to make the entrance exactly to your liking. You can change the motion for the intro, stage, ramp, ring-in and ring portions of the wrestlers entrance and choose to add pyros (a maximum of two in the entire entrance), lighting and screen effects or you can choose to use a wrestler's entrance template in order to get the entrance just right. On top of that, in the last section you can do everything else that could be done in easy creation such as change the champion and multi-title motion, the mini-tron, the movie, the music and whether particular sections of the stage would display movies.

I have decided to put together a little list to inform you of what, or who, the motions from page five, onwards represent.

Entrances have props involved if there is a logo next to the entrance name with two exclaimation marks.

Trophies Obtained: Entrance Designer (39 out of 42 obtained)

Next, the section that arguably takes the longest to finish, if you choose to do it in detail, that being Create a Moveset. The reason this section takes so long to do in detail is because it has become just that, so incredibly detailed. Compared to the handful of moves you could assign to a wrestler in the earlier games, you can now assign so many more moves for particular sections of a match and particular positions your opponent may end up in that creative is endless in this section and you can make the most detailed moveset possible.

You can create a Special Move to add to a wrestler's moveset also with the 'Special Move' creation option. You are able to create a Front Grapple, a Top Rope and a Corner Finisher. Click into one of the three options and you will be prompted to add the first portion of your Special Move. Your Special Move that you create can be absolutely anything as long as it all connects together and is below the ten section limit. Choosing the first portion of your Special Move will then allow you to pick in the second portion from a selection of moves that connect together with the move you chose in the first portion. This process will continue until you can no longer choose anything else in which you will be prompted to choose an ending move for your Special Move. On top of all of this, you can also change the speed in which the portions of your Special Move are performed so that the Special Move you create can look like it all flows smoothly.

The Story creation mode, as the name suggests, allows you to create a storyline of your very own. The first screen you will see as you open the Story creation mode is the Calendar in which you can choose which show you want to edit and create a storyline around. Upon picking a show to edit you will be prompted to add a moment to the show, you can then choose to add a Scene or a Match to your show.

You will get five options when it comes to creating a Scene for your show, the first will be Animation. You will be able to choose from an array of different scenes which include things like attacks, branching scenes, commentary, diva moments, encounters, entrances, scenes revolving around something or someone found, general manager based scenes, interviews, mid match scenes, scenes outside of the arena, post match scenes, pre match scenes, promos, scenes with props, the shows intro and scenes based around unions being formed. All of these options branch of to various options of their own so the possibilities for your show are endless.

On top of choosing the Animation, you can also choose the location for your Scene. You can choose from an array of arenas (the more you unlock, the more you obviously have to work with), backstage areas (both normal and retro) and even custom arenas that you have created. You can also choose the Cast involved with your Scene and depending on the Animation you choose you will be able to choose up to six cast members.

The Advanced Editor option allows you to adjust the length of your Scene, add text, change the emotions of the cast involved, add entrance videos, edit the sound, change the camera angles, branch off into different Scenes and display the end of show logo. Finally, the last options allows you to Accept what you have created and move onward with the creation of your story.

Creating a Match for your story will allow you to choose the Match Type and the Competitors involved as per usual. However, it will also allow you to change the Match Conditions and the Win Conditions to favour how you want the match to play out.

When it comes to Match Conditions you can change the difficulty and the arena, you can choose to start the match immediately or have entrances and even allow for a victory scene to be displayed at the end of the match. You can also choose to have a run-in, run-in's ally or to even the odds and you can choose wrestlers to fit those roles. On top of that, you can choose who sits in for commentary and you can even change the Match Rules for the content.

Win Conditions, however, allows you to add three different conditions to the match. You can choose which wrestler the condition involves or allow it to be done by either competitor, you can choose the win conditions rom an array of options such as win, lose, win by pinfall, win by submission, end the match via damage level (you are then able to choose the limb that needs to be damaged and the severity it needs to be damaged), win by count out, lose by count out and lose by DQ.

This is a really cool creation mode if you have the time and patience to dedicate to creating an epic storyline. Be sure to play around with this mode and see what you can create. The stories creating in this mode are able to be uploaded to the Community Creations section online for others to view and play, so be creative.

This is one of the creation modes fan were looking to have for quite some time and, lucky, we got this creation mode a few years back. This is the Create an Arena mode which, as the name suggests, allows you to create your very own arena to use and play in. The first option you will have upon choosing to create an arena is to change the stage design between an array of different designs, change the venue size to suit the kind of atmosphere you are looking for with your arena, cange the crowd type between modern, Attitude era and classic and even add a screen filter to your arena, a new feature for this particular mode.

From there you can further customise your arena. To begin with you can customise the stage, everything from the mini-tron, the header, the walls, the stage, the stage panels, the ramp and the lights. You can then customise the ring, things like the apron, the mat, the ropes, the ring posts and the turnbuckle pads. Finally, you can even customise the ring side area, the floor mat, the barricade and the announce table can be customised. All of these areas can be customised in a variety of ways, from simply changing the colours all the way to adding premade logos, wrestlers logos and images, customised logos and even an array of patterns to make your created arena look just how you want it to look. Once you are done, you can change the lighting, the nameplate and the menu screenshot before being able to name your created arena.

Create a Championship is another unique creation mode that fans have been craving to have return to the series for quite some time. This mode was in the last game but it was really limited and nothing compared to how the mode use to be in the older games. Lucky for fans of this mode (such as myself) the game has taken a step in the right direction to make this mode much more credible. This time around you are able to make a total of forty custom championships, plenty of championships in order to create your own shows and brands and have your very own championships defended on those particular shows and brands.

Choose an empty slot in order to create a new championship. The first thing you will be prompted to do is to choose whether to make a custom championship or use a WWE Championship template in order to make your custom championship. When it comes to using a WWE Championship template there is not much customisation you can do as the majority of the championship is already designed, so you are best off choosing to start from scratch with a custom championship template.

The first thing you will be able to do the moment you decide to create a custom championship is decide on the custom template for the championship between five different options. Once you choose the template you can then edit the various details of the belt such as the colour of the front plate, left plate, right plate and the strap and you can go ahead and add logos and designs to the championship in order to customise it to your fancy.

Once your championship is designed how you want, hit 'Accept' and you will be able to name your championship, give it a shortened name, a ring announcement for the championship and even decide what gender can go for the championship, whether it is a single or a tag team championship and whether it is cruiserweight specific.

Finally, you can create a Logo, creating a logo can come in handy with other areas of the creation mode such as creating a superstar and a championship because you can use your customise made designs to further customise your creation to your liking. The first thing you will notice upon choosing to create a logo is there is already a logo in one of the slots, a logo based around The Rock. Choose an empty slot and start creating.

Choose the pixel size you want to work with. If you want to create a smaller logo then choose 128x128, otherwise choose 256x256. Choose to 'Toggle Window' and you will be able to select through the tools you can use to create your logo. You can free-draw with the Pen, use Shapes and Lines, use the Eraser to erase your work, Rotate items, Reverse items, Fill items with colour, use Logos and even Delete All of what you have done. If you screw up you can use the Undo and even the Redo options, there is also an option to add a grid to your preview to make it easier to create your logo and you can even change the speed in which items move about. This mode is simple if you have a general idea of what the logo is you want to create so be creative and create an awesome logo or two.

Online

When it comes to Online mode there is really only two things you can do; play Player or Ranked Matches or upload/download content to/from the Community Creations area. Ranked Match allows for you to search for and find sessions or create your own sessions in order to play matches in which will contribute to your online ranking, your online win/loss record and your online points gained and your rank earned.

You can customise your search or the session you create. You can choose what type of match the session will be contested under. Most match types are playable, minus a select few like Slobber Knocker and Tournament style matches. You can also choose what arena you compete in, whether the weight detection (whether weight contributes to the match) and fair fight options are on or off. You can also choose the gender of wrestler that can compete in your match, whether created content is allowed to be used, whether entrances are on or off and what connective strength is needed in order to play.

Once your session is created you will go to the sessions main screen where you will have to wait for other players to join in order to play. You can view the stats of the superstars players are using, the match info for the match you have chosen to compete in and you can also chat with the players who join with the chatbox below.

Player Match, however, allows you to compete in matches simply for fun that won't contribute to your win/loss record or your online ranking. It is the same basic setup as Ranked Match but you can pick and choose sessions currently waiting for players or you can create a session of your own and wait for players to join in on the action, you even have the option here to make a private session so you can play with only the players you want to play with.

Community Creations, as i have already mentioned, allows you to upload your own created content in order for others to preview, download and review and it also allows you to preview, download and review other players content. You can search for pretty much any type of created content, things like custom superstars, custom move-sets, custom pecial moves, custom arenas, custom logos, custom stories and screenshots are all available to search for (unfortunately, custom championships aren't available). You can also search for items by sorting between what's hot, the highest rated, most recent, most downloaded, most reviews and reviewable content and you can also filter through the condition of the creations uploaded in order to find the best creations to download.

The other options are really basic. My Info allows you to view your online statistics such as win ratio, DQ, disconnect percentage and penalty level. A penalty will be earned online if you disconnect from a match before it ends, this is deemed inappropriate and will earn you a penalty which will effect the amount of prestige points you earn per match. You can also view your wins, loses, draws and the amount of prestige points you have earned in each match type. Your top four matches will be displayed with the others being displayed when you choose to view all statistics. In this section you can also change your icon (the image to the right of your username in the bar above) and your badge (the animation behind your username in the bar above).

You can also view your Rankings . You can view your weekly match ranking, your overall ranking, your ranking per match type, your weekly fair fight ranking, your top rated creators and your friends rankings. On top of that, since you are already signed in and online, you can also access the WWE Shop through here also for easier access to DLC content (The WWE Shop is explained in a bit more detail further in this walkthrough).

Now, there are only two trophies for online mode this year. One trophy you get for simply playing a match online, win or lose and the other one you get from winning ten matches in total. The best way to obtain these trophies is simply find an online boosting partner and have them lose to you ten times, or trade wins between one another until you have ten wins each, or whatever you prefer. There is no strategy to obtaining these trophies, just play an online match and win ten matches online, simple as that.

Trophies Obtained: A fresh beginning, A winner is you (41 out of 42 obtained)

As a result of obtaining all forty one obtainable trophies (if you have followed this guide in order) you will also obtain the platinum 'All Trophies Earned' trophy on top of everything else.

Trophies Obtained: All Trophies Earned (42 out of 42 obtained)

If you haven't obtained all the trophies yet, either scroll to the top of the walkthrough and read through all the trophies you can obtain and how you go about obtaining them or search for 'Trophies Obtained:' in this walkthrough and find out which ones you are missing.

My WWE

EDIT SUPERSTARS

This section allows you to, as the name suggests, edit your roster. You can choose which wrestlers appear on your rosters by clicking on their name in order to view their Settings and their Relationships and by clicking on the brand logo underneath their name. Settings show off the wrestlers attributes, abilities, finishers, hit point ratio, crowd reaction and attires (if they have any alternative attires) and can be changed freely (apart from the attributes which you need to download the Accelerator pack through the WWE Shop in order to do).

EDIT TEAMS

This section, again, as the name suggests, allows you to edit the teams on your roster. There should already be a few premade teams on your roster unless you have removed them all; you can also add more teams with the limit being seventy teams in total, more than enough to work with. The events of your shows from WWE Universe mode may also lead to teams being created or disbanded as their allies and enemies list changes and the events of your show unfold, this can lead to some extremely strange random pairings. Upon editing or creating a new team you can name your team, choose the announcement name that best describes your team, edit the members of the team, the limit per team being five and you can even edit your teams entrance and tag team move set.

TITLE MANAGEMENT

This section, simply put; you can choose who is champion. Leaving a title Vacant will make the title defunct and therefore won’t be used for your shows.

STATISTICS

The Statistics sections allows you to view the statistics of your very own gameplay. In the very first section, Ranking Statistics 1, you can view which wrestlers you have played with the most and how many times you have played as that respective wrestler.

In Ranking Statistics 2 you can go a little more into detail with the type of matches you have played with a list of yur top ten most played matches being on display and how often you have played each match type listed. You can also view your Career Highlights which highlight such things like; win ratio for title matches, most opponents defeated in Slobber Knocker, number of wins with all parts at critical, number of ring collapse knockouts, number of finisher reversals and number of Royal Rumble wins.

Finally, you can view your win/loss record via the Match Records And Statistics section. How many times you have won, lost and drawn are disaplyed and the various methods in which you won or lost those matches with such as pinfall, submission, K.O., DQ, count out and other method (referring to matches with specific win conditions, such as climbing over the steel cage). To the right side you can also view how many times you have used a specific ability and you can also view how many times you have caused destruction with a table, a ladder and a chair.

Both of these sections can be found under the 'Options' menu and are the only real relevant things that need to be explained with any detail regarding the 'Options' menu. Feel free to browse through the rest of the 'Options' menu, it's all pretty self explainitory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any known glitches in this game?

Unfortunately, the later WWE games have been known to be plagued with glitches and this game is no exception. There are minor, random glitches that happen to players from time to time and, apparently there is a glitch with Create An Entrance in which it freezes. I am not going to name every glitch as there are, unfortunately, so many that are being reported. I am just going to name the most prevalent ones.

Two major glitches i can think of are, first of all, the glitch in which created tag teams are erased from your team list when downloading DLC content. This issue came from the previous game and still hasn't been fixed, but apparently if you download your DLC items through the PlayStation and X-Box stores rather than through the in-game WWE Shop this particular glitch won't be a problem.

Another glitch, and a handy one at that, is the ability to be able to play as a manager in matches. This only seems to work in a One On One Normal match. First select The Miz to play as then hover over the Miz with the second character slot. Press circle then X, at this point your second character slot will change to Mr. Fuji. Deselect The Miz fully until you can change character slot and choose the second character slot to be able to scroll through and play as any manager. If you wish to play as Miss Elizabeth in a one verses two player match, deselect The Miz fully and select to play as Miss Elizabeth in the second character slot/manager slot.

You can also play as a tag team consisting of managers. This only appears to work with two players (or two controllers) and only in the Two On Two Tag Team match. In order to play as a team consisting of managers, select The Miz in the second character slot for your team and then hover over The Miz in the first character slot and press circle and then X and Mr. Fuji will appear as a playable character, do not select him yet. Next, deselect The Miz in the second character slot and choose your manager in the first character slot (this allows for the first character slot to choose the first competitor on the opposing team).

In order to add the second manager into the team, choose Big Show (Retro) on the opposite team and then hover over Big Show (Retro) with the second character slot on your team. Press circle and then X and Bobby Heenan will appear as a playable character, you can then scroll through the managers and pick who you choose to play as.

You can also have managers go after and win championships.

How do you cash in the Money In The Bank briefcase in WWE Universe mode?

Simple, once the wrestler you want to win the Money In The Bank briefcase has won the match and the briefcase, simply click on a World Championship match that is booked (there are an array of World Championships to choose from, depending on what you have added to your WWE Universe) and you will be prompted as to whether you want to cash in the Money In The Bank briefcase. The championship match will go ahead, as per usual, and the wrestler you want to cash in the briefcase will cash in after the match, the champion coming out of the match will be damaged and you will have a Finisher ready for a quick finish and a World Championship.

How do you contest for two championships at the same time?

Click on Specialty in the Play mode and start up a Title Match and upon being able to choose which championships you want to put on the line, simply hit R1 (i'm not sure what the X-Box equilavent is, i don't play X-Box) and you will be able to turn Double Title matches on and off.
