ATTRIBUTES - You begin the game as kind of a slacker. You have three attributes: Academics, Charm, and Courage. Various activities over the course of the game can act to improve these attributes. The higher they are, the more options you?ll have later on. The most obvious example of this is in the Home Ec classroom at Gekkoukan High. You cannot read the sign on the door until you're improved your Academics. To improve your attributes, you can pursue various activities, both in school and outside of it. These activities will generally move you forward in time, so be careful to accomplish anything else you wanted to do (i.e. shopping) before embarking upon them. Your Attributes will determine whether you succeed or fail on many activities in the late game, such as midterm exams or story events. It?s generally a very good idea to try to get them up as high as possible. Whenever your characters are too tired or sick to enter Tartarus, go out and do something to increase your Attributes instead. The following tables are comprehensive lists of ways to increase your Attributes, as well as the ranks.
